Tell me it all works out,
tell me the impossible happens
just this once,
that what could be
is—
that the dream
has shape, bones
and a heart,
that it is not phantom
or fiction,
but bird—
a song, a song
in the darkness.

I like to think that when Buck falls asleep on Eddie’s couch
Eddie removes his shoes. Carefully, so carefully as to not stir him awake
He sets them down by the door, tucking in the laces and brushing off their dust
I like to think that when Buck falls asleep on Eddie’s couch
Eddie leaves a covered glass of water on the table for him, he drapes a blanket over Buck, and pushes the hair away from his eyes
I like to think that when Buck falls asleep on Eddie’s couch
Eddie likes to pretend he’s his

I guess we are father's sons
After all,
But what do you think,
Who pulled the worse end
Between us two?
Is it my overflowing dark,
That continues to spill
Loneliness
And withdrawal of connections;
Or your twisted thoughts,
That bring out
Spitefulness
And addiction to silence?
You know what?
I think we're both fucked.

I hate you, with every bruised bone in my body you punctured.

Sweet soul, yet wary
Ephemeral scent of rosemary
I found her; alone
Little doe on a meadow
A star shining on her own
Fugitive satellite, elusive sights
Resemblance of a sun-touched paradise
Though the crow flies over the fallow
Narrowing carmesim skies of ripe cherry
Poignant first taste of a blackberry
On our sleepless nights
The oddest vertigo in ethereal indigo
Underneath a frail cover of lullabies
Weald that the dim has blown
Forgotten dreams on a tender prairie
Dear, what did you bury…

I desire love that engulfs me whole. I don’t want it to graze my skin, I want it to seep into every crevice. I want it to burn. I want to feel it.

Trust
Once a kid told me
That every person is an island in the sky.
And when you trust someone,
A bridge grows between you
And when they break that trust,
It’s gone forever.
You can build it again,
But it’s weaker than before.
And after you rebuild too many times-
There’s nothing left to build with.
My bridge is gone
And I don’t know how to bring it back
And talk to her again.
I can’t force myself to rebuild
Feeling like she’ll hurt me again.

CLASS WINDOW༄
By yuriko
I looked through
the class window
Out there, is where
Is where shadows lurk.
In the dark,
All around places
Like the park.
Outside that window
Is where danger is.
That’s why we must
Mind our business.
Go on our ways
Before the shadow
Behind you
Stays.

The singing is softer now
I think the sirens are sobbing
The sailors have all grown
Deaf or immune
Such a lonely thing
To be forgotten
