Notice how throughout Transformers One whenever Megatronus Prime is talked about the characters say he was the strongest Prime who ever lived. D-16 says how Sentinel Prime said this at the beginning of the film.
And yet not once is it ever said how Megatronus Prime used his strength. As we see in Alpha Trion’s flashback, he used it for the good of Cybertron and his fellow Primes as he fought against the Quintessons. Megatronus Prime was the strongest Prime and he used that power for the greater good. Sentinel downplayed Megatronus by not talking about this and simply reduced him to a big bad bot. It’s highly possible that Sentinel did this purposefully considering his low opinion of his superiors.
Because of Sentinel’s simple depiction of Megatronus, it led to D-16, the Prime’s biggest fan, downplaying him too as the miner bot focused only on his hero’s strength. Not once does he talk about the good he did for Cybertron. I don’t think he’s even aware of it, he’s too caught up in his perception of Megatronus, the perception that was created by Sentinel, to notice it.
And that’s why Megatron ended up tarnishing his hero’s name, face, and legacy. Megatron thought if he was the strongest on Cybertron he would be doing the memory of his hero justice but in his rage and hatred for what Sentinel did to him all he did was misuse that strength and power to cause suffering to Cybertron and its citizens, something Megatronus Prime would never do. His hero would be disgusted with him for how he used his strength for evil.
Megatron is against deception and yet, by unconsciously using Sentinel’s depiction of Megatronus Prime, he is continuously deceiving himself.

For me, Star Wars ended with The Unifying Force. However, if I had to continue the story I would have had it make more sense than what we got.
I would have had it take place a few decades in the future, so 59-60 ABY. I am not going to go over every single detail but I would focus on the new generation, mainly Ben, Jaina, and Jacen. Luke, Mara, Han, and Leia are retired or passed away at this point in time.
Ben Skywalker would be the Grand Master of the New Jedi Order. He is still relatively new in the position and while his parents have prepared him for the responsibility, he still feels unsure of himself. He tries to act like Grand Master Luke Skywalker but realises as the story goes on that he has to be Grand Master Ben Skywalker, to be himself and lead in a way he thinks is best for the Jedi and the galaxy.
Jaina Solo Fel would be a Jedi Master and a High Council member. She is a loyal supporter of her cousin but she has doubts and mixed feelings about reintegrating the Yuuzhan Vong back into the galaxy. While she understands that the species has changed their ways, the pain they caused her, her family and friends and the rest of the galaxy still lingers in her heart, especially the death of her brother, Anakin Solo. Her marriage with Jagged Fel, while happy, will be tested as the Chiss still see the Yuuzhan Vong as a dangerous threat and do not trust them.
Jacen Solo would be a Jedi Master but he would be living on Zonama Sekot. He would still keep in frequent touch with his family and friends and would help the Jedi when needed but he would spend a lot of time helping the now reformed Yuuzhan Vong with Danni Quee whom he now has a relationship with. At this point he has already explored most if not all of the Force religions out there in the galaxy but still spends time learning more about the Force. He would basically be the New Jedi Order’s Qui-Gon Jinn.
Now, this is where I bring in ideas from Fate of the Jedi. I overall think it's a decent series but it does have glaring issues. However, I really liked Abeloth and the Mortis connections. So I would implement this. I would have it be revealed that the devastation during the Yuuzhan Vong War and the anguish it caused strengthened Abeloth.  While I do find the Lost Tribe of the Sith interesting, I am not a fan of the Sith being around after Return of the Jedi. Instead, I would change them to be a group that worships Abeloth known as the Cult of Chaos. That way the story would still have dark siders that the Jedi can fight.
This leads to another main plotline in my story. There would be rising tensions between the Jedi Order and the Galactic Alliance because the former wishes to reintegrate the reformed Yuuzhan Vong back into the galaxy and give them a chance to redeem themselves and help the worlds they ruined. However, the Galactic Alliance and other governments are understandably reluctant to do this and that’s where the tension originates from. The Cult of Chaos helps release Abeloth by strengthening her through the anguish they cause through terrorist actions in which they frame the Yuuzhan Vong for. These acts finally allow Abeloth to be free.
Vestara Khai would be a member of the Cult of Chaos and initially be a loyal and dedicated member. However, when she finally meets the goddess her cult worships and sees her for the monster she is, she starts to have doubts and this conflict is amplified when she meets Grand Master Ben Skywalker. Eventually, the two fall in love and Vestara defects from the cult and becomes a Jedi.
In the end, I would have the Galactic Alliance, the Jedi Order, and the Yuuzhan Vong unite in order to stop Abeloth and the Cult of Chaos. By the end of the story there is still some tension between the Yuuzhan Vong and the rest of the galaxy but there are just enough people who are willing to give them a chance and help the Jedi reintegrate the reformed species back into the galaxy.
So, what do you all think of this? Do you like it? Does the premise sound better and feel more sense than what we got or does all of it suck? Thoughts would be appreciated.

"Well, that's the whole thing, you're never thinking about anything else, just yourself! Fantastic, another Orion Pax master plan, I can’t WAIT to hear this!" - D-16
I remember being initially confused in the cinema when D-16 called Orion Pax selfish but since watching the film I thought about it more and more and it makes a lot of sense.
D-16 wasn't entirely wrong. Orion Pax had the best intentions for everyone on Cybertron but how he went about them can be perceived as selfish. Despite his best friend's continuing insistence on following protocol, Orion kept getting himself into trouble which led to D getting involved to protect him and this more often than not resulted in him being punished too. Orion never really treated D-16's feelings and concerns that seriously and continued with his antics anyway because he thought he was doing the right thing for them. He even tricked his best friend into participating in the Iacon 5000 despite D-16 saying he wanted no part in it the night before. He may have been enjoying himself during the race but tricking your friends isn't a good thing, no matter how good your intentions are. So Orion Pax was selfish in that regard.
However, it is very important to remember that D-16 is a massive hypocrite. From the revelation onwards, he only thought about what he wanted to do, how he felt. Orion Pax thought about everyone else and how they were victims of Sentinel Prime's crimes too, especially the miners. D-16 never thought about anything else, just himself.
D-16 robbed everyone of the justice they deserved by killing Sentinel Prime himself with his bare hands. He was the one who was truly selfish. Orion Pax was the one who was truly selfless and that is why he was granted the Matrix of Leadership and became Optimus Prime.

What I find really interesting is that Onimi is pretty much the Palpatine of The New Jedi Order series. Both Palpatine and Onimi are Force sensitive and hide their true selves behind facades but with noticeable differences.
Darth Sidious makes himself appear as a kind old man who is trying to do his best as Supreme Chancellor of the Republic, the highest position in society. He had gained this position through years of manipulation and deception. Meanwhile, Onimi became a Shamed One, the lowest rank in his society, as a result of his desire of finding a way of escaping the fate their gods had placed on him and the rest of the Yuuzhan Vong. It was not his intention of becoming a Shamed One and yet he was able to make the most of it by making himself appear weak and cowardly, making others underestimate him, whilst simultaneously using the powers he had been granted to make his plans a reality. These two characters are radically different and yet they are also quite similar which I find really intriguing.
I think it’s fitting that the final and main villain of Star Wars is a Palpatine-esqe villain. Despite the so many changes that have occurred since the start of the Yuuzhan Vong War, at the end of the day the conflict climaxes between two Force-users, one aligned with good and the other aligned with evil. It’s a trace of familiarity in a sea of unfamiliarity. The fact that Jacen defeats this Palpatine-esque villain with a use of the Force that no-one has ever achieved or done before also shows how the Star Wars story and franchise has moved on. The era of Palpatine-esqe villains are over.
This was probably not what the NJO authors intended at all but regardless I find all of this very interesting.

I really like how Transformers One introduced a version of Megatronus Prime who didn't become a villain and remained a hero.
It makes his character even more tragic as his biggest fan lacked true understanding of who he really was and proceeded to use his own face as a symbol of an evil, monstrous group that brought suffering to Cybertron and its people.

Transformers One introduced a simple but intriguing origin for Megatron and Starscream’s relationship.
In this continuity, Starscream was the leader of the High Guard until he was dethroned and publicly humiliated by this random bot that his men captured with his voice being damaged as a constant reminder of the worst day of his life. In the post credits scene, if you look very closely you can see Starscream sneering at Megatron. Clearly, despite seemingly being supportive of their new leader at Iacon, he resents Megatron for taking what was rightfully his.
There are so many interesting things you can do with this premise going forward. Starscream is much older and more experienced at warfare than Megatron is and so perhaps this leads to the Seeker thinking that their leader doesn’t have the skills needed to achieve their goal and he is more suitable to be leader. Perhaps as the war with the Autobots continues on and the Decepticons gain more losses, other members within the Decepticon ranks start to feel the same way. Maybe Starscream might have his own inner circle of confederates that are loyal only to him like Thundercracker, Skywarp, Slipstream, and etcetera. This could all lead to an attempted coup and a conflict between Starscream’s faction and Megatron’s faction, Civil War-style.
I know you can only do so much in an animated movie as you have to focus on the Autobots too but I really think you can do a lot of interesting stuff with Starscream in the Transformers One continuity.

Both Sentinel Prime and D-16 murdered their respective opponents without mercy, ripped the power they desired from their chests, and smiled in joy that they finally obtained it.
Except while Sentinel Prime lost the power he craved, Megatron was able to keep his as he used it to wage war with Optimus Prime and the Autobots.
In the end, D-16 became the very thing he despised and as Megatron he will become even more of a monster than the false Prime.

I just finished Legacy of the Force and it was absolutely dreadful. There were some good bits like the stuff with Ben Skywalker and Boba Fett but overall it was garbage. It ruined so many characters to varying degrees, Jacen Solo being the one hurt the most. Everyone is either stupid or out of character or both.
Star Wars ended with The Unifying Force. Nothing happened afterwards.

Petition for the renewal of The Acolyte
I really hope anyone seeing this can take the time of signing this petition for the renewal of The Acolyte. This show was a really great experience to watch and much better than most of the live action Star Wars shows. It unfairly received a lot of irrational hate and review-bombing before it even came out. It would be a crime if this show's story is never concluded. This is our best shot of saving this show. Sign the petition.

The Star Wars fandom NEEDS to change
Based on the title alone, some of you are already going to believe that I am targeting every single member of the fanbase. I am not. I am merely talking about a significant group of the fandom, not the majority. The title was meant to grab your attention and since you’re reading this then I have succeeded. So, please stick around and try to see my point.
Lucasfilm has made a lot of mistakes when it comes to their management of Star Wars and I would be lying to myself and you if I tried to claim otherwise. My biggest problem with them, for example, is how they did the Sequel Trilogy and the Canon continuity’s depiction of Luke Skywalker. I am not a fan of it. So, I am not defending Lucasfilm with a sword and shield. I am merely making this from observation over the years.
While Lucasfilm’s management of Star Wars is the main problem, it cannot and should not be denied that a significant portion of the fanbase is majorly damaging Star Wars. The unreasonable, illogical, and irrational hatred that stems from this group is poisoning the brand and hurting everything it comes into contact with. Some might think I am exaggerating but I am really not. How The Acolyte was received is proof enough. And before anyone says, yes the show had writing problems too but you are deluding yourself if you think none of the hate it has gotten was unreasonable. The premiere was review-bombed before it even came out! Surely you can see how stupid that is?
Now, I know someone is going to write underneath “We are allowed to dislike stuff.” and you are absolutely right. Again, I stress this because I know someone is going to twist my words to suit their argument but I am not talking about all of the fandom. Criticism is completely okay. I am talking about the toxic portion that unreasonably hates for no good reason but to hate. I know others are going to say that I shouldn’t care about randos online. This isn’t it. This goes beyond randos spewing shit online. This is a very significant number of people hurting Star Wars products because they wanted it to fail. Again, not the majority of the fans. I am not talking about most fans. I’m sorry for repeating this over and over again but I just know someone is going to say I’m attacking all the fans which is not the case. Some people in this community wanted products like The Acolyte to fail and, if the rumours are true, they succeeded with this example. This cannot keep happening. The Acolyte had its flaws and I’ve had my share of criticisms and have seen valid ones too. But other “criticisms” of the show I’ve seen online are just absolutely dumb. Like, fire in space? Seriously? An age change? Come on.
There is a reason why the Star Wars fanbase is viewed as one of the most toxic communities ever. It’s time that we try and make this community a healthy place to be in. I’m just one man but together I am sure we can change how the internet sees our fanbase. I love Star Wars and what the fans can do is amazing. But I would be lying if I said I don’t hate this community at times or, rather, the specific group of fans who ruin it for everyone else.
Anger and hatred leads to the dark side. It’s time that we finally embrace the light.

Final Update on The Myth of Y/N
Hello everyone,
I understand that I haven’t posted anything concerning The Myth of Y/N for a long while now and I have been avoiding talking about it. For that, I am really, really sorry. I guess I just didn’t want to admit to myself that, sadly, this series is halted indefinitely.
I’m not sure for the future of this series but don’t hope for a new chapter anytime soon, let’s just say that.
Once again, I am very, very sorry about this. I know a lot of you have really liked this series and it always made me happy to see comments praising it. I learned a lot from my experience writing it and I will use those lessons when writing future projects.
So…yeah. I guess that’s it. Thank you for reading along The Myth of Y/N. Even though it didn’t have an end, it was still a jolly to write.

The Acolyte deserved better
I know this title is going to cause a war but I just need to get this off my chest.
The Acolyte deserved better. The treatment it received from the internet is downright criminal and unfair.
Now, based from this alone you can tell I like The Acolyte. I thought it was pretty good. However, I don’t think it was flawless or the best Star Wars show of all time. I have my own issues with it, one example being the shortness of the episodes. But I think its better than some of the recent shows that has come out like The Book of Boba Fett, Ahsoka, and Tales of the Empire.
I am not saying its wrong to dislike this show or that everyone is like this because I would be dishonest and misleading. What I am saying though is that, in my opinion, the hate for the show is really blown out of proportion and a significant portion of it is irrational at best. For the duration the show was releasing episode by episode, I felt like I was watching an entirely different product from what everyone else was saying. Like, every single time I watch an episode and I felt was good, even the ones I was disappointed in like the sixth episode, I go online and see “THE WORST OF DISNEY STAR WARS” or “IT BREAKS CANON” and all that stuff. I’m sorry but I just can’t see it. Like, there is no way you can convince me this show is worse than The Book of Boba Fett and The Rise of Skywalker, the latter genuinely being insulting as a Star Wars product.
Like, for gods sake the premiere was review-bombed before it even came out and films/shows with “acolyte” in its name got the same treatment despite it being completely unrelated to Star Wars. Surely that’s enough to show how crazy all of this is, right?
People wanted this show to fail from the start. I’m not saying everyone did, obviously, but to claim that at a significant group of people didn’t is, in my opinion, being naïve. Instead of the show being treated like any other show and reviewed normally, it was given the worst treatment imaginable.
What’s frustrating and sad is that some are going to read this and think I am blaming the entire fanbase and not accepting that the writing is garbage. Again, I’m not saying this show is perfect and I am not saying everyone in the fanbase is like this. Please understand that I am only talking about a group of people, not the majority.
If there is going to be a Season 2, I can only hope that it is actually reviewed and not writing it off as the worst piece of media before it even comes out. But who am I kidding? That isn’t going to happen. It’s been like this since the days of the Prequel Trilogy. I doubt it is going to change.

Lucasfilm shouldn't be obligated to always follow George Lucas' vision to the letter.
I just need to get this off my chest.
Lately I feel like the fanbase generally treats George Lucas like his word is absolute law and if a story doesn't really align what he particularly thinks then its betraying Star Wars or it it automatically sucks. Don't get me wrong, I am glad that George Lucas is recieving more love from the fans after the hate he got during the Prequel Trilogy. He is a creative genius and I have so much respect for him. However, I feel like many people forget or don't realise is that just because George Lucas came up with an idea or a product alligns with his vision doesn't guarantee that its good.
Both Canon and the Expanded Universe have ideas that George didn't agree with. With the EU, George's vision for the Old Republic was different from what we got. However, the Old Republic that came out was beloved by many. He also didn't think Luke would get married either. And yet Mara Jade and her relationship with Luke is also beloved by many Star Wars fans to this day. These are only two examples of course but, in my opinion, they alone show that one doesn't have to follow George Lucas' vision to create good stories and ideas in Star Wars.
Now, I'm not saying George Lucas should be completely disregarded and ignored. His ideas and concepts should at the very least be considered. However, Lucasfilm shouldn't feel obligated to follow them and the fans shouldn't believe without question that every single idea George Lucas comes up with is absolutely perfect. Luke's role in the Sequel Trilogy was inspired by George Lucas' vision for the character in his ideal Sequel Trilogy and we all know the fanbase feels about Old Man Luke. Dave Filoni is guilty of this too. I understand that he is the "protege" of George Lucas but his insistence on following his "mentor's" vision has really hurt some of his stories in my opinion.
Basically, what I'm trying to say in this ramble is that if we limit Star Wars to George Lucas' vision alone, this franchise will never evolve and grow to become more than it already is. It will forever be confined to one box, shackled to the chains of the ideas of one man rather than being free to draw ideas from various sources. To quote Uncle Iroh from Avatar The Last Airbender: "It is important to draw wisdom from different places. If you take it only from one place, it grows rigid and stale."
