안녕하세요. 저는 키연나예요.My name is Teonna (pronounced like “Tiana”). Welcome or welcome back to my blog! Here I will talk about books/comics, food, games, anime, shows, crocheting, art, music (mostly recommendations), and life! I’ll also talk about my journey on learning Korean and more along the way.
I thought I’d share a little of my cooking with you.
A while back in February, I made my take on the Korean Egg Street toast that they serve at the vendors. I thought it looked easy to create, and I love Korean food and culture, so I decided to try it.
I thought it looked great, and tasted great, despite me having to use two spatulas to flip the egg pancake.
But what do you all think? How do you think I did? What do you think I could improve on? I would greatly appreciate your honest opinion.
I need shit to watch to get me in the mood to write.. here’s a few lists:

Video Games
Due to popular demand I have compiled a list of Cyberpunk Video Games. Come to think of it, video games may be the best possible way to view Cyberpunk stories.
My thoughts are with you, Rose. I will most definitely spread the word, and I most definitely hope those who see my page will, too.
Hey, please read this. It would mean a lot
It's me, Rose, the op behind the Halloween post that surprised me with how popular it got!!
As you all know, my mental health has not been doing so good this past year. That is mostly due to the fact that my living situation has been hell. My parents are verbally and emotionally abusive and I've been under constant stress to find a job in order to move out. They are constantly, constantly, belittling me and blaming me for their problems. They've called me every curse words under the sun. They tell me I don't care about them and threaten that my life would be better off if they were dead. I can't handle the abuse anymore and I have to get out of this house before I break.
Here in NY, rent is expensive. I'm struggling right now to find a job to even pay my parents rent. I'm scared that if I don't find one soon, they'll kick me out or I'll be in their debt. I have to start paying them rent by next month I believe. However, I don't want to pay to have to live in this shithole. I want to be able to live on my own. I'm trapped here and I would appreciate it with all my heart if you guys would help me out.
If I set up a GoFundMe page, please, would anyone be willing to donate? Even if everyone donated $1, it would add up and it would mean the world to me! Words can't express how grateful I am for all of the positive messages you guys send me everyday!! And words could never express my graditude if you all helped me out.
Please understand that you have every right to donate nothing! The last thing I want to do is ask for money from people who desperately need it as well. If you would so kindly reblog this though, get the message out there, that's just as helpful!!
I love all of you guys, you all make my day better, so please, let me know if it's worth it to make a GoFundMe ❤️ —Rose
Yet another thing I would love to post as a result of me cleaning out my camera roll on my phone.
I FINALLY got to try some okonomiyaki! I tried the seafood medley version at an Anime Extravaganza event that was held at my library in July of the year! This has to be the highlight of my summer and my year! 🙌🏾
It was really delicious! It tasted better than I expected, and very authentic. And it was small too, which was also neat. Also at the event, I tried Japanese snacks like Pocky, Salmon jerky (sorry, I don’t know the name of it), and two types of mochi: one with azuki and one with mango ice cream!
We’ve also played a debating game called Superfight, in which I lost badly. I’m not a debate-type person, okay! We did it all while anime was playing in the background.
All in all, with great food and lots of laughter, it was a fun day indeed.
Hello there! I just though I’d clean out my camera roll on my phone and show you some photos of some flowers! 😊🌺🌸
These one here are taken in my front yard and this is a tree. I’ve taken them as soon as they blossomed (or at least try to).
Surprisingly, I did find some flowers at Wal-Mart cute.
These were taken sometime in June. I was done finished and was getting ready to head home when I saw these and when on a snapping spree. And yes, these are real!
The one on the right is my absolute favorite! We did purchase some azaleas! Will post pic of the flowers when the time comes!
These photos are of different dolls from around the world. I was intrigued by the Egyptian doll, and I absolutely love the detail on the kimono on the Japanese geisha dolls. The photo on the end is a wooden sculpture of the ‘Sabre Tooth Tiger’ by Stephen Collin, which was very awesome and the entire group got a picture around it! Sweet!
This display focuses on the Asian culture, another one of my favorites, with me being an Asian culture junkie! I was very amazed with the amount of detail in the ivory carving.
Overall, I had an amazing time there. Can’t wait to go again!
This is part 2 of my August 3 Kingman Museum photo spam.
Here, these are different masks from around the world. Again, I apologize for the quality of these photos. 🤷🏾♀️ At first I flew past it, because I was looking for the Minerals of Color (I posted photos ot that earlier), but before I headed there, I got a photo of these lovely beauties!
The Japanese mask with the golden horns was my absolute favorite, even though it was really tough to pick a favorite!
So on August 3, I went to the Kingman Museum in Battle Creek to attend the Planetarium with my local library. Now the planetarium was one of my favorite parts of the museum. This is one of a few more others I loved at the museum: Minerals in Colors. Here, they had all these different minerals and gemstones in these different colors! My personal favorites were purple and blue. With me being an artist, this is also one of my favorites.
And I do apologize for the quality of these photos.🤦🏾♀️Was trying my best to get the names of the stones and not break the stands. Will do better next time. 😁
Woooohoooooooo!!! I love me some books! Let’s read together! 📖📚
Happy #NationalBookLoversDay
Happy #NationalBookLoversDay to all our literary fans out there! Here at the Archives, We’re very shelf-aware of our love of all written records! To celebrate this wonderful day, here’s a look at some of our favorite literary holdings!
As all lovers of fiction know, a good book can transport you to other lands. And speaking of literary travels, here’s #ErnestHemingway’s 1923 passport photo.
Nothing warms our hearts more than seeing young people having fun in libraries! Here’s a 1940’s photo of children checking out books from the Benjamin Franklin Library.
Sometimes all you need is a great book and a little space. No one knows this quite like Astronaut Janice Voss! Here she is enjoying “A Man on the Moon” while exercising on an ergometer on the middeck of Endeavour, Orbiter Vehicle (OV) 105.
It wouldn’t be a proper #NationBookLoversDay celebration without highlighting some of our favorite American authors. Here’s a photo of #JamesBaldwin and #MarlonBrando at the Civil Rights March on Washington.
To all the Edgar Allan Poe fans, this one’s for you! Here’s a look at Poe’s enlistment documents.
Poe joined the Army at the age of 18 in Boston. This enlistment paper shows that he used a false name, Edgar Perry, and a false age, adding four years to his real age. The paper also described him as being 5 feet 8 inches tall, with brown hair, gray eyes, and a fair complexion.
