Ok but that’s still not the proper definition or use of Aromantic. Anyone under the “umbrella” of Asexuality doesn’t have a sexual attraction towards others.

Aromantic, to put it simply, means that you don’t need or have any desire for a romantic relationship. Most people find “pleasure” and “fulfillment” from romantic relationships, but a Aromantic individual finds the same “fulfillment” and “pleasure” from platonic relationships with family, friends, companions, pets etc....(im using the terms Pleasure and fulfillment losely. Pleasure bing the feeling of happiness and content and fulfillment as a general term for finding a partner or love interest) Asexuality is a broad spectrum and has many different types of sexuality in itself. But all full under the catagory of “not feeling sexual desire for any gender”.

Could Natsu possible fall under the spectrum of Asexuality? Absolutely. Im not disputing that.

What I’m trying to say is that before you make statements or labels please look into the proper definition if you aren’t 100% sure of what it means. This is so important and I can’t tress it enough. There aren’t a lot of Asexual representation in characters, and some are even misrepresented. So It’s important to know the proper and actual definition of a saxuality before making statements. It only hurts others who identify with the sexuality when you don’t.

Natsu Dragneel Asexual/Aromantic

Let me start this off with this:

I love ships

I imagine scenarios in my head of natsu x lucy, cuz let's be honest who doesn't. I have also shipped natsu and lisanna, it's clear they had a pretty serious relationship as kids, maybe it could've become somthing romantic

But real talk

This is from 100 years quest (the sequel series) and if anyone was going to know Natsus feelings on this particular subject it would be one of the 2 people hes gone on dozens, if not hundreds, of jobs/quests with. The other is Happy, but you probably already guessed that...

My point is that there are not a lot of ace/aro MCs in media. ( we all have theories and hints and what not but I'm talking 100 confirmed here)

To reiterate my post is not to bash ships. I'm just shocked that NO ONE seems to be talking about this...

Asexuality isn’t the inability to form a relationship where you put one person above all others. And it definitely isn’t someone who is “open to no-strings sex”.

Asexuality is(as defined by whatissexuality.com) “A sexual orientation characterized by a persistent lack of sexual attraction towards any gender.”

I’ve always liked the idea of Natsu being Asexual, and watching and reading the manga/anime there were clear clues and indications of him being asexual.

But if you’re going to back someone’s opinion or agree with someone’s idea you should at least know what you’re talking about instead of making a comment that is the exact opposite of what the OP is saying.
