Oh gosh! Lol okay get ready for the cringe!! Veneer was actually the first one I ever drew. I always had the idea of him in a purple beanie for my stories so of course his signature purple beanie is there. Outfit might have changed lol. But here you go! My first ever drawing of Veneer.

Oh! Now that’s interesting! In that case, having being his wife, Vivian would have to step in his shoes. That and needing to raise three kids alone.

I honestly feel her character would toughen up and darken just a little bit. If we think of it, no one knew of Vivian’s existence or his children. He kept it secret for their protection. Here we have his enemies thinking his empire fell when he was killed and yet it’s still up and running. Vivian totally has the advantage here. We would see a tougher side of her in this case.

The “New” Montegues

Velvet Vera Montegue. Nineteen year old only daughter of Vaughn. Of course that made the boys of the family all that more protective of her… which was a nightmare for her. A factor in her decision to run away with Veneer. She struggles with letting him grow and become his own person. Now back, Velvet steps up in the family business while searching for new found stardom in the under city…. All while handling her new relationship with Apollo: something her father and two brothers are protective about.

Veneer Vincent Montegue. Nineteen year old youngest son of Vaughn. He always looked up to his father and older brother, wishing to be like them. Being Velvets twin, he felt the need to follow her everywhere and forget to be his own person. Back in the under city, he journeys to find himself while helping his sister with her new rise to stardom. He’s also oblivious to Maleeks feelings towards him while his two siblings, even his new friend Apollo, seem to be aware of.

Vince Volkov Montegue. Twenty three year old oldest son of Vaughn. He was brought into the family as a baby. Along side Velvet, he learns the family business, joining Vaughn and his men, mainly to protect his father and help find those who killed Vivian. He also becomes Velvet self proclaimed body guards during her rise to under city fame. He rekindles his friendship with Apollo and Maleek, the trio returning once again. His old feelings towards Apollo come to light as well as old painful memories of how he screwed up things between them. He allows himself to be healed and learns to love again by the most unsuspected person… Morgona.

Vaughn Victus Montegue. Forty-five year old father of Vince and the twins. Vaughn spiraled downhill after the death of his wife, the love of his life. Vaughn wears her wedding band as a necklace, to have her near him always. He grew paranoid, doing whatever and anything to protect his children… unfortunately denying his role as a father at times. Having slowly changed his views, Vaughn is determined to make up lost time with the twins and even Vince. Vaughn continues search for those who killed Vivian.. perhaps having small help from a pink haired Troll.

The “new” Montegues

Vince Volkov Montegue

The adopted older brother of Velvet and Veneer. He was found abandoned as a baby. Instead giving him to one of his Bergens, Vaughn took him home to Vivian. They had been struggling for years to get pregnant; Vivian saw this baby Bergens as a little answer to their prayers.

No one ever came to claim the baby, so they named him Vince Volkov Montegue, and raised him. Almost three years after adopting him, Vivian becomes pregnant with the twins. He saw himself no different than them: his mama, papa, and now his littler brother and sister. The twins never saw him as a Bergen, just big brother Vince. As Velvet would describe: “I’m the brain, he’s the bronze and hes… well he’s Veneer.”

It hurt him when Vivian died and also angered him when the twins decided to run off. Both he and and Vaughn watched them like hawks, causing Velvet to grow frustrated. He’s not a fan of Mount Rageous or the Summit, so Vince was furious when he found out where the vanished too. Vaughn sent Vince away on a “mission”, but really sent him away to be safe while he got back the twins.

Vince was childhood friends of Maleek and Apollo. The trio was inseparable until differences growing up caused them to drift apart. As they grew, Vince found himself growing fond of Apollo; though he never spoke up about his feelings. Lost feels rekindle when Apollo comes back into his life. It gets harder when he sees that romance has blossomed between Velvet and Apollo. Vince tries his best to suppress his feelings; just happy for his little sister and best friend to be back.

Eventually, he meets a certain Gorgen who changes his mind…

Hello Dannie! I've recently come up with your AU and story, and it's actually very interesting and cool! I was wondering if you could draw my Trolls OC? Her name's Violet, she's Velvet and Veneer's younger sister, and unlike them, she'd go with a more soft music taste with her guitar. She's also wearing those headphones bc of her autism (Kinda wanted to project me in her lol). I hope you like her!

bit of a random question what would happen if all the trolls dissapear one day from mount rageous and no one could find more fore like years

Oh! Good question!

Regarding Mount Rageous, they would unfortunately not notice any of the Trolls going missing. It really wouldn’t matter to them. Now if we talk about the under city, that’s different.

Under Rageous relies on Trolls as a resource (basically a little something to get there high). Selling Trolls in Under Rageous is a business, so of course chaos will spread of that resource is suddenly gone.

Uh oh, is right!

During his adventures in Under Rageous, Floyd found himself teamed up with Vaughn. The two definitely butted heads, Vaughn almost turning on Floyd. But the small Troll brought a certain calmness in the older Rageon. Vaughn then found himself protecting Floyd, even almost sacrificing himself to do it.

Floyd began seeing the man Vivian had fallen in love with all those years ago. Saw the man he could be and was under all that cold exterior. Throughout there adventures Vaughn refers to Floyd only as “troll” but then one day, when it’s over and he has his children are back does Vaughn finally call Floyd by his name. This brings back flashbacks of their adventures together, and some warm feelings the Troll never knew he had…

Not to mention his looks…

Was he slowly falling for the Rageon??

Good question:

Despite having used Trolls for years, Vaughn never wanted his children to do so or find out about it. It was something he actually kept hidden from the twins. Yes, his main money maker was dealing Trolls to the rest of the under city, but never once did the twins find out. It was something he was beginning to leave behind until Vivian died.

When he found out how the twins rose to fame he was little scared because he knew how addicting it is. Now he really hasn't seen that the twins have been poisoned just yet. But once he does a real fear will enter him because he knows that Troll poisoning is hard to battle. Despite his indifference to the Trolls, he doesn't want his children using them.

I loved it!!

Of course I didn’t want any of the characters to die, hoping they’d all make it out alive somehow. But this is Squid Games lol

Hello Again!

After all the drama they faced together in the under city, the Trolls have once again mended things with all of Rageous. Veneer formed a close bond with Floyd and now his brother Branch.

One day the small Trolls decide to pay a visit to Veneer. Veneer is over joyed to see his tiny dad and brother once again, this time bringing his biological dad, Vaughn, to help mend things between him and the Trolls too.

Floyd is a little on the happy side to see Vaughn once again, having developed an understanding and closeness to the Rageon… maybe even a crush.

Facts: Vaughn is about ten years older than Floyd give or take. Vaughn is in his mid forties, most likely the same age as John Dory.

Vaughns Secret

Yeah, so I updated the Vaughn lore. Yes, you know I had to make it angsty.

After years of using Troll essence it went beyond from just poisoning him: it’s killing him. A sickness eating him from the inside out. Treatment may be possible, but in reality he doesn’t want it. He feels this is something he deserves for failing as a husband and father. He refrains from telling the twins anything.

Will they find out one day? Or will they find out when it’s too late?

Fun Fact: Murk has known Vaughn since he was five years old and Murk was twelve. He basically saw him and protected him like a little brother. Murk never left his side, even after the Under Bergens who worked for the Montegues were given a chance to leave. Murk wanted to stay by Vaughns side till the end. He was there when Vaughn first met Vivian, married her, and had his children. The twins grew up calling him Uncle Murk.

Under Rageous Species Guide

Haven’t done an Under Rageous AU thing in awhile! So I wanted to touch up on the species you’ll find down there and what makes them different from each other along with the Mount and Summit. I was going to do Glimmer Rageons but I’ll save that for another post. So here we are!
