Genuinely hilarious to me that while Dick and Bruce are having yet another domestic about the legacy of Batman, Dick’s need for independence, and Bruce’s piss-poor communication skills

This kid is being dragged across the Gotham skyline, tracking down a flying murderer that him and Dick were supposed to be taking down together

Sorry but Dick calling Tim a ‘bonehead’ while parading around in the Batman suit is just absolutely hilarious to me

Dick’s out here being insecure that he won’t live up to Bruce’s legacy as Batman because he’s not on the same skill or intelligence level, but really it’s cause he can’t stop using 90s playground insults on the job

It’s ironic that the Bat fandom likes to play up Tim’s parents (largely imagined) neglect, when Bruce canonically leaves him alone in Gotham to babysit a violent nutcase who tries to strangle him in the Batcave and commit murder in the name of justice

Like I’m sorry Bruce but why are you trusting the man who added claws to the batsuit with an unsupervised child

No because you don’t understand - Cass didn’t become a vigilante because of Batman, doing good and pursuing righteous vengeance is a very part of her being in the same way as Bruce

She may use the symbol of the Bat but she’s MORE than that - she may follow in Bruce’s footsteps but she was always going to walk that path - her righteousness was not taught it was an inevitability

And that’s why she’s the natural progression of the Batman legacy - all of the Robin’s have learnt from and rebelled against Bruce’s teachings in equal measure, but Cass to her core holds Bruce’s values, the good and the bad, inside her on pure instinct
