you know you have emotional issues when you read twist and shout so that you can cry (because you can’t cry on your own but that story does the job easily) and have an emotional catharsis. and it makes you feel better.

one of my biggest fears is that i’ll never find love. i want someone to love me in the way i see on tv or hear about in songs. and i worry that no one could love me like that, or love like that doesn’t exist. the hopeless romantic part of my brain is like “just wait for it! dont settle for less than that!” and the cynical part is like “epic love doesn’t exist in this world, and even if it did, you don’t deserve it”. see my problem???
