Aum! 🕉 Sound has had a healing effect on me this week. Some say sound is the beginning of all that is, and all that ever will be. Spirit Wellness tip of the day: sit down and sing to one of your favorite songs. Focus on the sounds you make, the joy you feel as you do so, and ignore any ideas of “good” or “bad” sound making. Make Love to each and every note. 🎶Sound is divine and the divine is sound in me🎶 Singing brings your prayers to God more sweetly and more directly, but chanting is good too. Chanting, also called Japa in Sanskrit, creates better focus and discipline in your mental space, allowing your inner self to remain focused on God, the Source of all good. ✨ One of the most popular chants is known as the "Great" Mantra (the Maha Mantra). Hare Krishna Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna Hare Hare! Hare Rama Hare Rama, Rama Rama Hare Hare! 💕 If I were to try and translate this, the meaning I focus on is: "Oh Krishna your perfect essence is within me, let it come! Oh here I am, your lover! I honor our divine love! Come and Be with me! Strengthen this love within." 🕉

My grandfathers and my grandmother moved on from this world during December and January. I’m consistently reminded of their presence, their love, and the moments we had together. And I remember to cherish those still with me, people old and new, and let them know how much I value them. It's also a time for me to make offerings to my ancestors in my heart and actions. Sometimes I forget the immense feelings of grief, longing, and gratitude tucked away, under the surface, and then something will remind me of them and it resurfaces to say hello. I feel like I'm with them again by remembering them, and yet feel how far away they are. I know so many struggle with the loss of their loved ones during the new year season, or during reminders of anniversaries in your lives. I see you, I honor you, I understand the immensity and complexity of what loss and change mean when it comes to people we love, or once loved, or have tried to love . Here is to you and our special ones now until eternity 🦋

All the #feels today. #Saturn in #Capricorn. My own #saturnreturn. #Mercuryretrograde. I woke up on the wronggggg side of bed today- you ever have one of those days? Plus, my car is having some kind of issue again, just after repairing it yesterday, and the money in my account looks like it’s getting lower and lower. But tis the season to be jolly. Even though this new transit is bringing up accountability and responsibility, when I decided to focus my mind on actually taking responsibility for what is and accepting what’s happening in the moment, I then looked for solutions 🙌 Choose a solution!even if it’s not ideal. Because all you have to do is begin. I am amazed at how much easier things become and how much better I feel after setting my mind straight ✨You can do this too. Notice something that has been worrying or frustrating you, and make the decision to deal with it today...courageously AND with acceptance 💙 Remember, if you’re having trouble, that another word for acceptance is surrender. Another word for surrender is appreciation, and another word for appreciation is faith. Faith is how we get through life. 🛸Breathe easy fellow earth travelers. Hi everyone ✨I’d like to apologize for not being as present on this platform as I would like to be, especially after receiving so many incredible new followers by sharing my work with @healerspodcast. I’ve just moved into a new apartment, after moving to an entirely new place where I knew almost no one & brought with me one suitcase...so, truthfully, everything has been *really* hard recently but I've pulled through. Biggest triggers right now: not sleeping or eating well enough, and feeling pressured by bills and finances. “I be not a witch, I be a healer” - the words of Grace Sherwood to her witchcraft accusers before she was dunked in the Lynnhaven River in Virginia Beach. Covered in a sack, with her thumbs tied to her toes, and carrying a 13lb Bible forced around her neck, for her to be declared innocent it was expected that she float! In the water she freed herself, was declared guilty, and sentenced to almost ten years in jail. After serving her sentence she returned to her herb garden and farm in Pungo, Virginia and died at the age of 80. The remains of her property can still be found as part of the Back Bay Wildlife Refuge. ✨ H E A L E R 〰 I am proud to be in spiritual lineage with Grace Sherwood, who was accused because she was just a little too knowledgeable, a little too real, a little too beautiful, and a little too different. Her knowledge of herbs, and the fact she wore trousers as she worked in her garden, was too much for people in the 17th century to handle. How blessed and strong we are to live in the world today and express ourselves and our healing work freely. A sacred profession, I share it with you and welcome your gifts into my life. Thank you all, men, women, and children for your healing energies, the spark of your own life force. This #thanksgiving you may find yourself experiencing different waves of emotions, such as loss, frustration, sadness, fear or confusion. The #holidays are the most difficult times of the year for many, because #relationships, especially within the #family and collective, are the most difficult spiritual and karmic lessons we face. Whatever life has given you this season, remember that you are the pure form of #consciousness within - because of this happiness is always possible and always available to you, especially when we engage with it through patience and acceptance of the #Now. An exercise to use is to recognize that #happiness, as a spiritual experience, can be found in the subtle space between the inhale and the exhale. Acknowledge all your feelings with each breath in and out, and after a few deep breaths become aware of the pause in between. This is an #awareness of your existence that is beyond mind, beyond emotions, beyond pain, and beyond loss. What our mind focuses on is what we entangle our identity with, and the attachment to those “realities” eventually creates suffering.
