Your doorbell rings.

Your eyes squeeze shut.

It's two hours from midnight on a Monday and you have no plans for friends or family.

So you already know what that means.

You pull yourself from your couch and drag your body over to the door. You'd been working hard on back-to-back shifts for a long time now, you'd forgotten what it was like to not work. It was so easy to slip into not doing anything and so hard to get moving again.

Or, that's what you keep telling yourself.

A delivery crane with gold-fleck-tinted wings, another one, and a small basket in its mouth.

"Delivery here, prepaid."

You sigh and accept the delivery from the crane's mouth.

"Delivery complete," The crane flies away.

You watch it go. When it's long gone and the night chill is seeping into your living room, you close the door again. You set the basket on the glass table in the center of your room, right alongside the other five.

All from Jing Yuan. You didn't even have to look through them all to tell.

Each day it feels harder than the last to not tear it open and look inside.

With the first one, it had been almost effortless.

The first gift of many was a gorgeous bouquet. It was bound together with a velvet ribbon and flawless white paper and the vibrant head flaunted blooming lotus flowers and wispy white lilies. Its delicate fresh scent lingered, stinging in a home that smelled too often of takeout and tea.

Alongside it was a little envelope with a gold wax seal. It bore a symbol too familiar for comfort.

Last week was a whirlwind of emotion for you. Jing Yuan's disturbing lack of concern for your safety caught you off guard. You'd been expecting him to play it off, not keep going after it had been so obvious you'd gotten caught.

There was a shared, fragile privacy in your relationship and Fu Xuan shattered it. How could you even face her in your day-to-day work now?

Your stomach gave a loathsome lurch. You shoved the flowers back inside, damaging them beyond saving. The basket was to be thrown away later. Luckily for Jing Yuan, you had fallen asleep and forgotten.

Or, again, that's what you keep telling yourself.

It had nothing to do with the tacit fact that you could not bare to tell him no. Not to his face. His wanton eyes and the way he would hold you always managed to melt your heart and reasoning. It's the only reason your relationship even got this far.

You were his prey.

Getting spooked and running were formalities. Only existing to give fleeting feelings of uncertainty a measure of hope. Chase and capture were inevitable. You could not deny Jing Yuan. Not for long, anyway.

So, you avoided him instead.

You took a day off to think things through. One day became two. Two became a week.

Another basket came. You set it beside the first. You spent all day at home and wallowed, watching the minutes tick away into nothingness.

One week became two. Two became four. Your table grew crowded with baskets.

After the first day, you stopped checking what was inside.

This was the fifth.

You've burned through half of your saved vacation days so far. Presuming another job is out of the question, you'll have to go back and face him on your own two feet. Could you resist him when the time came? Was there any point in reading them or were you delaying the inevitable?

first I failed to add a Fourteenth Doctor category to Teaspoon after Ncuti Gatwa was cast because I figured it didn't have to be there the instant he was announced, and then I kept failing to add Fourteenth and Fifteenth Doctor categories because my brain still refuses to acknowledge that Tennant, whom I love and who I loved as Ten, is coming back as Fourteen, because that is fucking ludicrous and not in a good way, BUT ANYWAY, Fourteenth and Fifteenth Doctor categories are now on whofic.com, and I'm just gonna keep glaring at RTD from about 3,100 miles away

14.Who does fashion shows after a mall trip and who watches and compliments them?

Bojan does fashion shows and Jere stares with heart eyes. Bojan is also the one that sends a million pictures of their new stage fits and for someone with a pretty limited ability with the english language, Jere sure does come up with a LOT of compliments.

21.Which of their friends/family pokes fun at them for them getting flustered/affectionate?

For Bojan, all of Joker Out. There are different flavors, but they all find great fun in the way Bojan gets flustered so easily(especially when Jere's around). Jere is also fully aware of this and doesn't mind when his boyfriend blushes like a schoolgirl. Kris is, however, Bojan's #1 bully[affectionate]

Jere himself embraces it when someone tries to poke fun at him when he's being affectionate. His default answer is "yes i kiss and cuddle my boyfriend. and?" which takes a lot of the fun out of it for the (loving) bullies. Thus Elina moves on to bully Bojan because his reactions are more fun.

Mikke will groan and roll his eyes whenever he sees too much PDA, but it gets less and less serious as time passes.

27.Who would propose? What would their wedding be like? 

Now this one os a headache of mine. Because I know for sure they'd both plan on it, it's more about who manages to do it first(probably Jere because Bojan is a little ball of anxiety and would take too long to try and think of every possible outcome, while Jere's more like "it's a yes or yes question we WILL get married")

I feel like their wedding would be quite small and intimate. The closest of family and friends. Not a "rustic romantic" type of barnwedding but something a bit more modern. They'll leave the tull and jute cord details and lantern centerpieces to someone else.

But it would be in two parts. The "official" one in Finland, and then a second party in Slovenia. Mainly because not everyone can make the trip between the two countries.
