You entered the quarantine area with a heavy sigh and a weight on your shoulders. You shrugged off your cloak and placed it upon the coat rack. You did the same with your lantern, blowing out the flame inside before you did.

Brushing off whatever snow made its way onto you, you walked deeper into the building, the warmth of the building familiar yet oh-so foreign. Walking deeper and deeper into the building, you were soon greeted by Chili Pepper Cookie, who was tossing one of her daggers up and down. She had a look of anger, maybe even resentment on her face as she gazed through the window.

"Chili Pepper Cookie?" You called out, voice soft.

"Reader Cookie!" She stumbled a bit before grabbing her dagger. She sighed and put it away. "C'mon, don't do that. Really scared me there."

"Sorry," you apologized with a gentle smile. You then walked next to her and peered into the window. "..you okay?"

Chili Pepper Cookie paused before she looked away. Her shoulders trembled. ".. it's my fault. I should have been watching him."

Your gaze softened as you walked over and placed a hand on her shoulder. "We don't know if he's infected just yet."

"He could be."

".. I know," you relented with a frown. You gave her a quick hug to reassure her before pulling away and grabbing some gloves. You slipped them on before putting on a tight coat, followed by a mask.

"It's really snowing hard out there," Chili Pepper Cookie muttered as looked towards the entrance.

"It is." You nodded in agreement, approaching an iron door. "At least it wasn't snowing when this all started."

After a nod of both agreement and confirmation from Chili Pepper Cookie, you flicked the lever beside you, and you walked in.

The door hissed shut once closed, and you exhaled slowly. You approached the young Cookie on the bed first. "Hey, Pancake Cookie!" You smiled at him. "How're you feeling?"

"Hi!" He chirped, looking up at you with a wide smile. "I'm kinda hungry, do you have any Acorn Jellies?"

"None at the moment, but I'll try and get you some." You hope he can't sense the melancholy in your voice. "So, Pure Vanilla Cookie told me you were feeling a lot more cold than everyone else."

"Yeah, I dunno why." Pancake Cookie looked down as he kicked his feet. "All the snow was hitting me and I felt like I was an ice cube!"

Your expression softened. "How do you feel right now?"

"Still kinda cold, but not as cold as before!" He shook his head.

"Okay, that's good. I'll see if I can get you some blankets."

You gently patted his head before walking to the next door. You pushed it open and your expression fell, seeing Black Raisin Cookie pacing.

Her worried gazed fell upon you, and you could only look at her assuringly. "You did the right thing," you told her as the iron door behind you hissed shut.

"I know." Black Raisin Cookie looked down. She clenched her hand to a fist. "I just wish I had been faster. If I had been.."

"Black Raisin Cookie," you gently cut her off as you walked closer. You placed a gloved hand on her shoulder, and her tired eyes met yours. "The fact that you managed to bring Pancake Cookie here even with those Frost Cookies chasing you is more than enough." You smiled behind the mask. "Just focus on the now, okay?"

As the other Cookie nodded, you pulled your hand away. "Now, how are you feeling?"

"Tired," she admitted, rubbing her face. "It also feels like I may have gotten frostbite.."

You frowned from that and you held out a gloved hand. She placed her bandaged hand in yours, and you looked over her hand. She wasn't wrong, her fingertips were a bit red. Scars marked them as well, and you narrowed your eyes a bit.

"I'll mention this to Pure Vanilla Cookie," you told her, wrapping her hand back up. You looked her up and down before your eyes caught a scar on her cheek. You reached out and gently brushed a finger over it. "How did this..?"

"A branch scratched me." Black Raisin Cookie shook her head, doing her best to quell your worries. "The Frost Cookie didn't get me, and it's jam didn't get in me either."

You paused to consider her words before you relented. You moved away from her and gently cupped her cheek. "Do you remember what it looked like? The infected?"

"It.. didn't look like a Cookie." Black Raisin Cookie stepped away and began to pace again. "It had cake hound legs, but a snow lion tail.. it just.." She shook her head. "All I know is that.. it was an infected, and it was a terrifying hunter."

You nodded softly.

You learned nothing more, so you said goodbye to Black Raisin Cookie after informing her that her crows were doing fine. It was only her and Pancake Cookie that were showing signs of the Frost, after being ambushed by an infected.

Walking through the sterile halls, you thought back to when Black Raisin Cookie and Pancake Cookie returned. Chili Pepper Cookie had lost sight of the young Cookie, though it wasn't her fault. She was stressed, everyone was. The younger Cookie had thought he saw some acorn jellies off in the forest, and he had rushed off towards it.

It, of course, wasn't.

Black Raisin Cookie had luckily found him, just before an infected had found them. It still made you shudder, how Caramel Arrow Cookie and Pastry Cookie came rushing in, supporting Black Raisin Cookie as best they could.

Ah, you should probably check on them, now that you think of it..

As you stepped back out to the common area, you spotted Pure Vanilla Cookie discussing with Chili Pepper Cookie. His staff caught sight of you first, and soon the Ancient's head turned to look at you. "Oh, you are here, thank goodness.."

"What's wrong?" You asked as you took off the mask, setting it aside as you then slipped off your gloves.

"The acorn jellies, they're.. they're freezing over more and more," he informed you as he clutched his staff. "My spells are doing nothing, and no fire is able to melt them. It's like someone is.. deliberately freezing them over."

"We don't know that." You shook your head. "It's a fair chance that the cold is just freezing them over. I'll come with you."

As you followed him out of the building once slipping on your cloak and grabbing your lantern, you couldn't help but have a bad feeling brewing. You tried to push it away, merely saying that it was due to everything that had happened.

A prequel to an INBOX Story idea proposed by @clowny-rolls (Thanks for the idea!!!)

The illustration is inspired by a drawing a friend of mine did of Spamton, but it's currently not uploaded anywhere. Sorry guys. 😭

The year was 1994.

Spamton G. Spamton, a former Addison and a now esteemed entrepreneurial businessman who founded BIG SHOT AUTOS was one day asked, "Mr. Spamton, are you seeing anyone?"

Much to Spamton's chagrin, the one asking was his close friend Bant, a Blue Addison who was the only one of his former friends and coworkers with whom he stayed in contact. He leaned against the wall, waiting for any chance to talk to Spamton once he was off the phone.

Spamton rolled his eyes. "Why are you asking?"

"You haven't seen any ladies, have you? I figured with your newfound success, the women would be flocking to you." Bant chuckled.

Spamton raised his hand and dismissed this with a gesture. "I'm too busy."

"Not too busy for me, though." Bant smirked.

Spamton froze and his cheeks flushed pink.

Bant tilted his head, flashing that iconic closed-eye Addison grin. "Hey, if you're interested, one of the restaurants Sen's been running fliers for is setting up blind dates. I've been the one coordinating things to bring people together. The restaurant has had a nice uptick in business since! The campaign is running for another week. It might be kind of fun to try it out. I can set you up with a cute girl, exactly your type!"

Spamton narrowed his eyes at the mention of Sen, or Yahoosen, the Yellow Addison he once worked so closely with but did not believe in his vision. Hearing Bant's involvement softened his expression but not his demeanor. "That sounds stupid. How will this benefit me at all?"

"If you have a good time, you could leave them a good review, and then I can convince the owner to vouch for your shop whenever they need a new car or some fixing. What do you think?" Bant's smile widened.

Spamton raised a brow. "Uh, give me a moment. Step out of my office for a bit."

Bant sighed. "What for?"

"I need to make a call, obviously!" Spamton said as he sat down at his desk with his finger already on the dial.

Bant huffed and pushed off the wall. "Fine. Let me know when you're done." He slipped out, closed the door behind him, and paced the hall. Although he was just outside the office, he could not hear what Spamton was talking about. Thankfully, the call was brief, and only a few moments later, Spamton opened the door, looking up at Bant. "OKAY. I will do it!" He adjusted his collar and flashed a handsome, toothy smile.

Bant blinked. "Huh? Really? Did whoever you were talking to on the phone tell you it was a good idea?" He laughed a little awkwardly.

"Huh?! Why would I ask my esteemed business partner about something so silly?" Spamton laughed, dismissively waving his hand. "Go on! Set me up with this blind date! I trust you know my tastes in women well."

Bant furrowed his brows. Having known Spamton for years, he knew when he wasn't totally genuine, and this seemed to be one of those moments, but he smiled anyway. "Okay, I will. I'm sure not to disappoint you!" ☎️☎️☎️

Waiting in a hallway near the restrooms was a small lady, a White Addison. She wore a silken pink dress far too expensive for her salary and tied her hair up in a matching pink bow. People passing by stared at her, whispering words she did not want to hear.

Bant approached her. "Ah, Ms. Thetalan, you look quite lovely. That dress Orvar loaned you fits you nicely!"

Orvar, short for Orvarstok, was an Orange Addison who worked with Bant. He advertised clothing curated by Queen herself, ranging from everyday wear to fine garments. Through their established trust, Bant easily convinced him to loan a dress on the promise he'd foot the dry-cleaning bills afterward.

She turned to the Blue Addison and smiled meekly. "You think so? I hope he likes it, too."

"He definitely will. You are exactly his type." Bant winked. "He is an esteemed businessman, so he has fine tastes. He should be here within the next five to ten minutes. Just wait here for now."

"Fine tastes?" She blushed. "Okay. I will wait right here," she answered meekly. She watched him disappear down the corner. She was certain this guy was the same Blue Addison she saw with that man she fell in love with a year ago—a man who appeared to be a White Addison like her but with black hair. She etched his name into her heart: Spamton G. Spamton.

Despite her suspicions, Thetalan didn't dare pry too much about the Blue Addison's possible relations. He approached her directly while she was walking down the street and asked if she would like to participate in a blind date with all the expenses paid to support a local restaurant. Usually, she'd be wary of such things, but because of his familiarity, her intuition told her to trust him and take on this offer. She told him about the kind of man she wanted to meet, and he said, "Ah, perfect. I know just the guy for you! He is a handsome businessman and not too unlike an Addison." He raised his head and pointed at his own nose. "What, with one of these just like us!"

Few Darkners chose to court Addisons outside of work-related reasons, but this Blue Addison described someone so specific that she could only think of one person, and it was him. To have this opportunity of seeing Spamton again... It made her tremble with excitement.

With bated breath, she gazed into the nearby mirror, trying to collect herself. Though she was excited, anxiety swarmed her entire being. She hadn't seen this man since last year and wondered if he remembered her. He occupied her mind constantly, and as she stared into her beautified reflection, her hands wringing restlessly, she thought, "He has no idea how much I wish he could see me."

What does kin mean?

The meaning can tend to vary depending on who you ask, but it generally means (TLDR:) identifying with a character in some way. Although it originated from the term "otherkin", which means identifying with an animal/another species, the way it's typically used in this context refers to "fictionkin".

Many people use it to describe simply relating strongly to a character and don't really see themselves as the character in any way, but it was originally used to describe identifying as the character in a spiritual/psychological way. To clarify, it doesn't mean that you think you literally are that character right now, in a physical way etc. It's more of an identity thing. (I could go more in-depth on what that means, but I'm going to assume that's more information than you're looking for.)

It's kind of a Tumblr/internet culture thing, but I'm not very involved in the community or anything because it's more of a personal thing for me specifically, so. I really don't feel like the best person to ask if you have any more questions. I apologize if that's too much information for such a simple question; I guess it's a bit complicated to explain.

Thank you so much! And I agree wholeheartedly (no bias, none at all) about using comics like this! I was always going to enjoy BG3, but making these comics has really solidified it in my mind as one of the most significant games I've ever played. Plus, making comics is a great way to practice any number of things; I started this project with the intent to work on expressions, but along the way I've used it to help me with paneling, writing, and keeping a schedule. As it turns out, doing something a hundred times will generally help you improve, haha.

Made a quick detailed timeline about all Events from Pokespe which can be dated up until (chronologically) the oras arc and a birthday chart with everyone. This is very long so everything under the cut

I'm not well read on anything after that so i will just put my very rough guesses for the rest beneath at the bottom.

Keep in mind there is never any year stated for anything (i mean except if i missed something) but given that this works out very well with the game releases im gonna stick to that. [9] - Technically it says in FRLG that Yellow is already 14, but Emerald Arc Says FRLG Arc was 6 Months ago and i think. March would not count at that anymore. But i guess you could do that however you want and put FRLG after Yellows Birthday.

[10] - Age taken from game canon.

[11] - I used to have a reasonong why he had to be born in late 1983, but i forgot what it was. will change it back when i remember again.

[12] - The guide says Green is in GSC 14, which does not work because the ending has to be after Golds Birthday and Greens Birthday is earlier. And even though Green only shows up within the last very few days of plot i jsut take that to mean that when the arc starts she would still be 14 even if she is not yet here physically.

[13] Similar reasoning as in [7].

X and Ys Birthday cant be said exactly because they only appear in the XY Arc and that one is not exactly enough dateable to say if they already had their birthday that year or not. So I just went with the 2 dates that are the most probably (as in build the biggest window of time for XY to take place with their ages correct.) Accordingly X could also be potentially be born a year later (== 6.11.1993) OR Y could be born a year earlier (== 2.2.1992). (Exclusive OR not both things similtanously)(hehehe you could say XOR)

Technically i know Golds age does not match always how it should be, but the official golds age do not match how time works anyway, so i ignored it. Only counted for gold in text age statements. I also had to use Golds age for a lot of things here, thus, things like the RGB Arc and the GSC Arc could end some weeks earlier if you choose to make him older. (Valid options for making Gold older i guess are making him one year older (born in 1988), or two years older (born in 1987). These two + the option i went with give results conflicting with some other statements here, so do what you want.) (If you think Gold is born in 1988 then both the RGB and the GSC Arcs end between ~Mid May and Mid July. Again look at [7] + Kris Age stated in Volume 12)

I did not fact check anything in here except Emeralds Birthday. I wrote most of this on the train on my way to uni, because i had nothing better to do and just what i remembered spontanous at that moment. I do think however that i am correct. I might have made math errors.
