Eiji leaned on his hand as he watched the man across from him talk, his blue-green eyes were wide with what the man could only describe as wonder. He looked so pleased as he showed off the various shells and some gems he had in his pockets. The day had barely broken above them, the sky still orange as sun rays flitted through the windows.

The man who resided at the shrine found the kitsune’s behaviour almost confusing. He kept coming back, for reasons Eiji himself wasn’t entirely sure. And he always came back with gaps, as if the night that kept them apart were blind spots he couldn’t reach. But Eiji merely brushed off the kitsune’s odd amnesia.

Because, well, he kept coming back.

Mechanical heart stirred. 

“Oh and this one! Look how smooth it is.” Katsumi reached out, taking Eiji’s hand in his own so he could drop the smooth purple stone in his palm. His fingers and hands were fully bandaged, and Eiji wondered if he did it himself every day.. Eiji tore his attention away from the kitsune’s warm touch, inspecting the shiny purple stone given to him.

He lifted his head, mismatched eyes met Katsumi’s inquisitive gaze. His ear twitched as he mulled over the thoughts in his head. “Well? Pretty, right?” Katsumi cocked his head to the side, a large smile spreading over his face. Eiji noted the gash that spread across the bridge of his nose and cheeks. It looked old, but it was still deep, the scar raised. 

Blue makeup accented his eyes, but on closer inspection, it looked haphazardly put on. Probably to protect his sensitive eyes from the sun. Eiji knew why he was noticing all these things, he figured it out when Katsumi kept coming back with a new story or new gift for the second month in a row.

“Eiji-san?” 

Katsumi’s eyes widened when cold lips pressed against his, but Eiji was quick to close his own, that felt more correct. His lips were warm, slightly chapped, and he tasted of berries, undoubtedly from the tart they’d shared. The kitsune relaxed against Eiji’s touch, but his kiss back was shy. It only made the feline more endeared.

But he paused when he heard a noise.

Loud thudding, echoed. No-

Eiji opened his eyes to see Katsumi’s soft expression, eyes closed, and his tails behind him- His tails whacked against the wooden floors excitedly. Oh.. the puppet was in deep.

i'd like to think that at one point in his life, eiji mourned the supposed absence of his heart just like his 'brother', but after he meets katsumi he feels as if he's had one all along. he just needed a little help realizing it

I love how whenever ATLA recognizes Sokka is smart enough to solve a problem but it’d be too fast they just stick him in some kind of situation. I wish we had more female characters like Eleanor Shellstrop. One of the most unlikable people you've ever met. Read a Buzzfeed article on most rude things you can do on a daily basis and decided to use that as a list of goals. Makes everyone's day worse just by being there. Dropped a margarita mix on the ground and tried to pick it up, only to get hit by a row of shopping carts which pushed her into the road where she was hit by a boner pill delivery truck, killing her instantly. Cannot keep a romantic partner despite being bisexual. Had a terrible childhood but will die before she gets therapy. Best employee at a scam company. Just the worst but also can't help but root for her to improve.

Absolute loser. Girl-failure. Bad at almost everything. Literally perfect female character.

there is something so damn satisfying about the face physics when Gojo and Yuta are swapped.

like you know very well Gojo is currently occupying Yuta's body because he gives some sort of edge to his facial expressions. meanwhile Yuta softens Gojo's facial expressions.

not to mention those edits of Sukuna without his face markings. you'd think he'd just be Yuji under that but it's a whole different character; a whole different aura.
