We really have to hand it to kids' drawings. They're like little emotional time bombs, chaotic, pure, and ready to explode with meaning at any second. My son’s masterpiece? It’s got all the feels: hope, resilience, and a superhero vibe that makes you believe a pencil can save the world.

Then there’s my friend’s version, same idea but polished, powerful, and radiating strength and determination. One full of innocence and love, the other showing how far we’ve come in the fight for survival. Together, they remind me that even in the darkest times, there is light.

Maybe these drawings aren’t enough to stop you in your tracks. Maybe they’re not “good enough” to inspire donations or make you share this post. But behind each one, there’s a story of survival, resilience, and unshakable hope. This campaign isn’t just about me. It’s about 26 people, 26 lives hanging by a thread. That includes two orphaned children and a family member who’s suffering from hemiplegia after being hit by shrapnel during a bombing. My dear friend @aburakhiaibrahim and his family have lived through over a year and a half of genocidal war in Ghazzah. They have been suffering through hunger and fear, and they long for peace and safety. However, despite what they have gone through, they still hold hope in their hearts. Your donations can help this hope persist, and help them survive until the day Palestine is free.

Ibrahim's family consists of 28 people. Each of them requires food, water, and shelter; necessities that all cost a premium in Ghazzah right now. Unfortunately, donations have been very slow for their campaign. Their campaign was created in March of 2024, over a year ago, but so far barely 40% of the total goal has been raised. Often, Ibrahim and his family will go for days at a time without receiving any donations.

I ask you, please share and donate to Ibrahim and his family. If you wish, you can donate through paypal, which sends the money to them more directly. Mahmoud's family is staying in Nuseirat, where earlier today, Israel bombed a school sheltering hundreds of displaced families! At least 17 people were killed, including 9 children! The youngest of the martyrs is a baby who is only 11 months old! Children were literally torn to pieces according to eyewitnesses! This is the 196th school in Gaza that Israel has bombed!!

Mahmoud has 17 family members, including 10 children stuck in Nuseirat right now. When I heard that 17 people had been killed, among which are multiple children, I was so worried for Mahmoud’s family. I was so worried that the worst had happened to them. School should have been a place where they can study and learn, not a place they are sheltering in because their home has been destroyed, not a place where they have to worry about being torn into pieces by bombs!

Life for these 10 children is very difficult. In addition to facing frequent bomb threats, they have lost their home, and they also lack most basic necessities. Food and clean water are hard to come by, and if they are available, they are very expensive. Prices in Gaza have skyrocketed to 300% of their normal price, so often they cannot afford to buy daily necessities like food and medical supplies! Please help them reach $4500 by the end of this week so the children will not go to sleep hungry! You literally have the ability to save the lives of these children!
