Sometimes I sit down and realise how little we actually know about the clones in Canon and how much we just made up and decided was cannon.
Like the clone have never actually spoke Mando'a, Fives and Echo aren't really twins, Torrent never officially adopted Ahsoka into their aliit, Kote isn't really Cody's name, we know next to nothing about Fox and the Corries. I mean there isn't even a command batch, we don't actually know if Ponds, Cody, Wolffe, Bly and Fox were batchers that adopted Rex on Komino to save him from the long necks and Alpha-17 just had to live with it.
It's wild how much of what most people consider cannon was made up by fans, and it's amazing.

Obi-wan has made baby Vali cry & that is a mark against him by Cody 😂
It is! Cody is unimpressed with Obi-Wan making the baby cry. He is now on Cody's shit list.
"Why do you have Rex's baby," Wolffe asks as he cheerfully takes the blonde baby from his batchmate and cuddles her close. "To fuck with General Kenobi. He made her cry." "Rude." Fox says, "Gimme." He adds as he makes grabby hands towards the baby. "I just starting holding her!" "Yeah, but I have little brother rights. Gimme." "You have little bother rights is what you have." Wolffe counters, but he does slide the baby into his twin's arms. "Aww, you're going to be a nice older twin, aren't you ad'ika? No verbally abusing your poor twin." Fox says to Vali who blinks at him though through sleepy eyes. "They're identical, right?" "How can you possibly know that?" Cody asks. "Who do you think looks out for our every growing aliit when you all are off planet?" Fox points out, "I wasn't able to meet them when they were born, but Thorn was." "...is that part of your responsibility?" Cody asks slowly. "Of course not. But we do it anyway." Fox replies with a shrug, "Isn't that right, Val'ika?"

Superior Officer
sequel to everything about you pisses me off
E, NAWA, Cody/Ordo&Ordo/Besany, V-threesome (No Besany/Cody bc “and they were both bottoms doms”) rimming, verbal humiliation, Incest Kink, the usual Skirata family/daddy issues AKA Kal’buir is there doing Hot Kal Shit, Cody is an Asshole, Ordo likes it unfortunately, Kal Did Not Like That
“Captain,” Cody greets him, much more genially than he’d spoken to Kal. Ordo has always been aware of the disparity in rank between his buir and himself, but he’s not sure he’s ever seen Sergeant Skirata so blithely treated as, well, just a sergeant by a superior officer.
“Commander,” Ordo replies, discomfited. If he says Cody out loud right now, he’s not sure it’d come out sounding professional. “What are you doing here?”
“I seem to recall you inviting me?” Cody says sardonically, arching a brow.
Ordo is even more bewildered. Cody had made his disdain for the offer clear at the time. “Ah. Welcome,” he manages to say. “What can we do for you then, Commander?”
“Just you, Captain. I’d like to discuss some things, get your opinion on them. At your leisure,” Cody says, without batting an eye.
Ordo polices his expression and refuses to swallow nervously. Does he mean discuss or discuss?
“Dinner will be on shortly,” Kal objects, but Cody holds Ordo’s gaze, ignoring the former trainer entirely.
“Would you care to join us for latemeal, before you and I discuss these unspecified things?” Ordo offers awkwardly.
Cody dips his head to cover his amusement, but when he answers, he sounds perfectly collected, nearly formal. “My business with you may be of some duration, Captain, so yes; I would not keep you from your meal. If it wouldn’t cause undue hardship for your aliit, then I accept your generosity, but I do have my own rations if necessary.”
“We have plenty,” Kal stresses. “We’re doing very well for ourselves here.”
“No hardship, Commander,” Besany assures. Cody smiles at her, a small but warm expression.
“This is my wife,” Ordo introduces her, stomach dropping. “Besany, Cody.”
“A pleasure,” Cody says, voice dipping low. “Congratulations on your marriage, ma’am.”
Besany smiles in acknowledgment, then stands to go initiate laying out the dinner. Everyone else also rises to reorganize the space and themselves for the meal. As the trestles are moved from the walls to make the family table, Kal jostles for position by Cody.
“Now see here, son, you can’t just—” he begins in a severe tone; Cody swings his attention fully onto Kal and he quails a little.
“Sir,” Cody enunciates, the word somehow anything but an honorific, “I am not your son.”
Kal takes each syllable of that statement on the chin. Cody watches them hit and then continues on, pleasant and deliberate and ruthless.
“If you understood the barest fraction of my opinion of you, you would not be trying to gain my attention, Sergeant.”
If anything, sergeant lands even more dismissively than sir. Somehow, Ordo has a feeling Cody treats his own sergeants and underlings with much more respect. Did Sergeant Skirata do something to the Commander during the war to invite this sort of response?
Ordo has never seen such an expression on his buir’s face before. Kal tries to recover his dignity, blustering, but he cannot meet Commander Cody’s eyes. Fortunately, having delivered this succinct drubbing, Cody is gracious enough to resume ignoring the man.
However, instead of recognizing he’s outmatched and tapping out, Kal’buir rallies to muster another objection. He’s dogged if nothing else, their buir.
Ordo hastily intervenes. “Cody!” he calls. “Come sit over here.” He manages to make it sound less like a plea and more like a firm suggestion.
Cody slides in next to Besany, hand genteelly brushing over her back as he seats himself between them on the bench. Down the table, Kal is fuming.
“It’s good to see you again, Ordo,” Cody says warmly. Ordo tries to ignore the stormcloud of his buir’s temper.
“I didn't realize you two had worked together,” Besany says curiously.
“Just the once,” Ordo clarifies, recalling vividly in spite of himself, the aftermath of that once, unlike any other moment of his life.
“But it was quite memorable,” the other clone finishes Ordo’s statement, and Cody’s dimples deepen though his mouth and eyes remain politely neutral.

Variant Scene from My Current WIP
If you're not reading the fic I'm currently posting on Ao3, that's fine. But, hey, plot spoilers for Star Wars: The Clone Wars and some of the Star Wars movies, ahead!
If you are reading Simire Ven Akaa'nari Oyula (Years Before Galactic War)... you might recognize parts of this scene from chapters 6 and 7, mostly.
Some lines were edited, others were re-attributed to other characters, and a few things were cut entirely because the scenes ultimately were streamlined for clarity. Additionally, parts of the scene were moved between POV's.
References to violence, because Star Wars has no mercy, especially not for clones.
Jaster's POV [starting after Jango jokes about Sev stabbing him if he clones himself]...
“K’uur, Dog’ika. It’s not going to happen. I don’t think I could live with myself if I let anyone clone me for an army. Not knowing how awful it was for you. You don’t have to think of me as your vod, but I see all of you as my vode. We share the same DNA, and that’s enough for me to call you my aliit.” His eldest smooths over Dogma’s hair, and starts purring steadily in his chest to soothe the smaller boy. “I’m not going anywhere either. You’re stuck with me as long as you want me here.”
“Okay.” Dogma sobs in relief, still clinging to Jan’ika’s shirt. “That’s okay. I was a bad vod, and the Captain and Torrent still want me anyway. So- so they’ll keep you, too. I know it.”
There’s a pained sound from Rex. “Dogma, I told you, you’re not a bad vod.”
“I helped him kill our vode!” The little boy wails from his place in Jan’ika’s arms.
The words startle Jan’ika into his purr cutting off as he looks between Dogma and Rex. “Can-... can I ask what you’re talking about?”
While Dogma’s response is to just break into shuddering sobs, Fives grimly looks at Rex, who is silent, and then over to Kix and Jesse. Kix just grimaces and Jesse tilts his head in silent acquiescence. “We’re going to have to talk about it sooner or later.” Fives starts, catching the scowl forming on Cody’s face and returning it with his own ferocity. He argues preemptively against whatever protest is brewing from the Commander. “It’s not like we can ignore it. Even if we can keep Mandalore out of it, who says they won’t find a different template? I don’t even think taking the clone army out of the equation could prevent all of what happened. The Sith aren’t just going to roll over and accept defeat if one or two pieces of their plans fall out of place. And-... I think Jaster and Jango have a right to know.”
“They won’t.” Rex agrees very quietly. “There’s still the droid army, the decline of the jetiise, Skywalker.”
Somehow, that provokes a response from Dogma. He unburies his face from Jan’ika’s shoulder to snarl fiercely. “I hate him! He was a monster, an- and we didn’t know.” Then, he crumples into a fresh round of sobs.
“What does that even mean, Dogma? Are any of you going to explain why you’re so weird about Skywalker?” Now Cody looks angry, glaring between Rex and Echo.
Rex’s expression falls. “I don’t-... Kote, the General Fell.”
“What?” Cody blanches.
“Cody.” Echo’s voice is very serious. “Who did you think Darth Vader was?”
Staring at Echo, Cody goes from disbelief to horror. “What?” He repeats himself, like he desperately wants it to not be true.
Dogma peers at Cody and then sniffles out. “Skywalker led the march on the Temple, Commander. He led our vode to kill the Jedi. Even the tubies.”
“But-... He-...” Cody looks like he’s been struck.
Echo rubs a hand over his face. “It’s why he hated Kenobi so kriffing much. I mean, come on, it’s like every Darksider has a thing about your General, in specific.” There’s a weak attempt at a smile, but none of the vode are really amused.
“He was Dark, for longer than any of us realized, I think.” Rex says very softly, picking at a blanket next to him. “I don’t-... I wasn’t sure until Ahsoka told me. Even then, I didn’t want to believe it. But it bothered me, so… I asked Echo to help me dig around. It’s not like there was any kind of announcement to christen a new Sith.”
“There was holo footage.” Whispers Dogma brokenly. “They played it on Coruscant for months, talking about how it was good the Jedi were gone. Calling them traitors and threats to the Republic. Even the holo footage of the bodies. Commander, they piled the bodies outside the Temple for days there were so many. I hated seeing it. I hated it. He used our vode to do it. When vode started breaking out of the chips, all I could think was what would happen if Appo or- or Bow, or Fox—the 501st’s Fox, not your batchmate—what would they do if they woke up and realized they’d helped kill tubies. Cadets. Everyone in the Crèches. If it were me, I knew I’d eat my blaster. I wouldn’t have been able to live with myself.”
There’s a long silence. All of the vode are pale and distraught, especially Cody, Jesse, Kix, Fives, Tup, and Sev’ika, who all visibly struggle with the new information.
Finally, Fives takes a deep breath and turns back towards Jan’ika. “We were the 501st. Our General was Anakin Skywalker. He was supposed to be the Chosen One, or whatever. Not sure how I feel about that right now.”
Rex interjects. “His kids. He had twins with Amidala. They restored balance when they beat the Emperor. Luke—crazy little mir’sheb—even brought Skywalker back into the Light right at the end. I think it was supposed to be about them the whole time.”
“Or,” Fives says, a hint of meanness in his voice. “Qui-Gon Jinn was just a nutcase who didn’t know what he was talking about when he found a nine-year-old on Tatooine and thought he was a gift from the Force.” He breathes. “But, stop interrupting the story.” There’s some muttered apologies, and then Fives starts again. “The thing was… oh. Nope, I am going to unpack that revelation later.” There’s a quick shake of his head like he’s trying to eject the thought entirely. “We were sent on a campaign to Umbara. Both the 501st and the 212th. But, midway through, General Skywalker was called back to Coruscant for important stuff and we were sent a different General as a temporary replacement.”
“His name was Pong Krell.” Just the name sends visible shudder through more than one of the vode. “He was a Besalisk and… he definitely didn’t see the vode as people. We were just cannon fodder to throw at whatever the objective was until we were either successful or all dead. He didn’t even pretend to have a strategy, he’d just… tell us to attack head on, kriff the consequences. Whether it was straight across a minefield or single-file through a gorge, he didn’t give a kark how many we lost— at least, not the way he should have.” With a scoff, Fives leans against Echo, seeking some sort of comfort. “It was an osik strategy and we all knew it. Well…” His eyes flicker over to where Dogma is still trying to burrow himself into Jan’ika’s chest. “Point is. He was throwing away our lives. Some of us tried to come up with backup plans, alternate strategies, anything, to try to stop the deaths. Just… to help.”
(Jaster hates that he can picture it, a group of soldiers whose commanding officer is throwing their lives away pointlessly. Just trying to figure out some kind of option that could keep more of them alive.)
“Our comms to the 212th went down. At the time, we didn’t know it was Krell sabotaging them.” Fives grimaces. “We snuck behind his back, to steal some Umbaran starfighters to try to get an advantage, we got rid of a supply ship… it, uh, it succeeded but we lost a really good vod to do it. Then we got back… Krell was mad. First, he wanted me and Jesse court-martialed, even though we’d helped.” His eyes dart back and forth, seeing something in the distance. (Remembering.) Echo takes one of Fives’ hands between both of his, squeezing while Fives takes a minute to try to sort his thoughts. “He-... changed his mind and decided to have us executed by firing squad.”
“Echo’s expression twists up in grief. Clearly, this isn’t a story that he knows the entirety of.
“I was in charge of the firing squad.” Dogma says with a baleful look on his face. “I was so stupid.”
“No.” Rex snaps. “You were trying to be a good soldier in the only way you knew how and he used it against you.”
Fives just sighs heavily. “Our vode wouldn’t kill us, they missed on purpose… and Krell got upset again.” He presses his lips together, once again getting caught in his own memories while trying to find the words.
“We got a comm from a scout. The claim was that the Umbarans had stolen armor and weapons from our vode in the 212th. Krell wanted to preempt their offensive, so he sent us out after them. We ran into some- some other beings in clone armor and we opened fire on each other. The 212th had been given similar bad intel. Something was wrong though, I checked under one of the helmets. They were our vode.” Rex stares angrily at the floor. “We tried to confront Krell, he cut down some of our brothers, and then he got away, but not before he told us he had us kill each other on purpose. He had GAR secrets. Letting him get away wasn’t an option.”
Jesse picks up the thread, expression tired. “Dogma… we didn’t let him join us in the confrontation and then, he tried to dissuade us from chasing the General. Because it was treason. Kark.” He presses a hand to his forehead. “We convinced Dogma to stand down, only to put him in lock up. Then we chased Krell again, not that we were strong enough to really stop him. He was picking us off one by one. It was only because Tup came up with a good idea that let us subdue him and arrest him. Then, we finally heard from the 212th, they’d taken the capital and the remaining Umbarans were heading for the airbase we were occupying. The risk of losing the airbase and Krell escaping was too high. None of us wanted to risk those Republic secrets getting out.”
“In the brig, we let Dogma out and confronted him, and he revealed all of what he’d done… It was just because he wanted to be the next apprentice to one of the Sith after the Republic fell.” Rex curls his arms around himself, trying to make himself breathe. “He’d used Dogma’s faith in following orders and…” The former Captain shakes his head. “I was going to execute him. I wanted to execute him. Krell started taunting me. Then…” He lifts one hand and makes a blaster motion. “Someone shot him. It was Dogma. Stole a pistol right off Fives’ belt and killed the shabuir. Like that.”
“All of that… and they court-martialed Dogma, because the Republic didn’t give a kriff about how many of our vode Krell had cut down in his treason. But a vod killing a Jedi? They couldn’t let that go.” Fives laughs, but it’s a hollow sound with sharp edges.
Dogma is still in Jan’ika’s arms, his face pressed back into the older boy’s shoulder. He shudders at the sound of Fives’ laugh. Jaster can see the way Jan’ika is holding Dogma just a little bit more tightly, as if he could protect the smaller vod from the past.
“They put him in solitary.” Rex says quietly, a heavy weight on his shoulders as he looks at Dogma. Still, Dogma doesn’t emerge from Jan’ika’s arms or look up. His shoulders heave occasionally, in what must be quiet sobs he’s muffling into Jan’ika’s shoulder. Seeing it makes Jaster ache. “At the end, after the order went out and activated our chips… Dogma told us that since he was in prison, he didn’t get the order. There was a prison break and he hid in the lower levels of Coruscant for… I’m not sure how long.”
There’s a muffled sound, and Jan’ika strokes Dogma’s hair before saying gently. “We can’t hear you if you talk to my shoulder, vod’ika.”
Several moments pass, before finally Dogma lifts his head. His eyes are bloodshot from crying and he looks so small in that moment, cradled in Jan’ika’s arms. “Few years. Not sure. It’s harder to track time when you’re constantly trying to stay under the radar. I did send anonymous intel to Rex and Echo when they were running the clone underground. After that collapsed...” He shrugs. “I just tried to stay alive. Not that it was easy. If it wasn’t Imperials and chipped vode trying to kill me, it was the chakaare who lived in the lower levels.” Dogma sniffles, and Jan’ika brushes fingers over his cheeks to help wipe away some of the dampness from crying. “Before I woke up on Saleucami… I think I was in a fight. But it was all happening so fast and I’m not entirely sure what happened. I guess I died? I don’t know.”

Evaar’la Yaim pt. 1
Summary: Obi-wan's home was barely made to fit one person, much less three. But since they are all outlaws, buying a new home isn't really an option. Obi-wan suggests an idea and reveals a lot of hidden guilt in the process.

Obi-wan’s home was cozy. And most certainly not made for three people. Cody and Obi-wan had turned the small basement into their bedroom, giving the old upstairs bedroom to Luke. Still, they were constantly running into each other. Having Cody’s vod’e, Leia, and Ahsoka visit only exasperated the issue. Plus, Obi-wan didn’t have enough evaporators to make enough water for three people to use. And, of course, Luke was a teenage boy and needed his privacy. All in all, their current living situation was bound to end in disaster. So, Cody and Obi-wan had their heads bent over the coffee table.
“I don’t think we have enough credits to build any addition,” Cody said. “And you would be the only one able to work to get more. Luke and I are too recognizable, especially to the Imperials.”
Obi-wan stroked his beard. “Yes, and there isn’t much room for more additions on this plateau anyway.”
“A temporary solution would be to get another water evaporator, but that also has the same credit issue.” Cody was getting a little frustrated. Who would’ve guessed that he had an easier time planning battles than home renovations?
“The Jawas would likely be cheaper, but the quality might be an issue,” Obi-wan mused. Cody grimaced at the thought of the furry little beasts. Obi-wan chuckled. “Or not. Besides, they likely would only have bits and pieces.”
“Would give Luke something to do,” Cody said, smiling as he thought of his energetic teen. It was nice seeing Luke be able to express himself and not have to hold a decorum nearly everywhere. “But we’d still have space issues.”
“We could always move,” Obi-wan suggested after a moment.
Cody sighed. That would be the simplest solution. “That still has the credits issue. Plus, we’d have to find someone willing to sell to us without asking for ID, and it couldn’t be in any settlement.”
Life as fugitives was so difficult, Cody lamented to himself. Once again, Cody missed the simplicity of war. Thought, he thought as he gazed adoringly at Obi-wan, this way of life had its benefits.
“What if there was an abandoned homestead that was in decent condition?” Obi-wan asked in the tone of voice, signaling it was more than just an offhanded question. “Perhaps even an old moisture farm.”
“That would work,” Cody said slowly. Obi-wan was frowning at the table. “Do you happen to know where one is?”
Obi-wan sighed, still looking away. “Yes. In the Jundland Wastes.”
Cody shuffled closer to his riduur. “Obi-wan?” Obi-wan hummed. “What is it?”
Obi-wan’s hands were fidgeting nervously in his lap. Cody gently grabbed his hands, holding them in his own. Obi-wan took in a breath, releasing it in a sigh. “It is the Lars homestead.”
Lars? That sounded vaguely familiar. Cody racked his brain, trying to figure out where he’d heard that name before. Perhaps it was somebody Obi-wan had mentioned in passing. Cody didn’t know anyone on Tatooine except one or two vendors in Anchorhead that were friendly enough. They were both older women who seemed to adore the fact that Cody would brave shopping on the occasion that Obi-wan wasn’t up to it. Obi-wan said they had crushes on him. Cody disagreed, mainly because the thought made him a little creeped out.
“Lars?” Cody asked after he was unable to come up with the connection. “Old friends of yours?”
Obi-wan grimaced. “Not quite. They are- they were Luke’s aunt and uncle.”
Oh shit. Now that Cody thought on it, he did remember reading something about moisture farmers in Luke’s file. And he definitely remembered the occasion when Luke, while missing his aunt and uncle, declared Cody his aliit and called him buir for the first time. Cody had always meant to follow up and see what had become of Beru and Owen, so he could tell Luke when he was older. But Cody had forgotten, and Luke had never brought them up again.
Cody mentally said a small apology to the Lars family. To let a loved one’s memory be forgotten was a shameful thing between the Vod’e.
“Ah, right,” Cody said. He did a quick mental subtraction. “It’s been over a decade, though; how good of a condition could their farm be in?” Obi-wan was fidgeting with his hands again. “Cyare, what is it? You can tell me.”
“I have, well, it didn’t seem right to let their home fall into disrepair when it was my fault they-“ Obi-wan cut himself off with a deep inhale. The exhale was shaky, and Cody could see the self-loathing and tears in his riduur’s eyes.
Cody pulled Obi-wan into a hug, securely wrapping his arms around his riduur and resting their heads together.
“What happened to them was not your fault, cyare, Cody muttered. “I imagine they knew the risks of taking Luke in.”
“I was meant to protect him,” Obi-wan whimpered. “I was only in town for a few hours, but when I came back to check on them, their home had been ransacked, and they, they were-“ Obi-wan let out a sob and collapsed into Cody’s chest. “I wasn’t there in time to save them.”
Cody had a feeling this wasn’t just about the Lars anymore, but he filed that away for another time. Cody tubbed Obi-wan’s back and pressed a kiss to the top of his head.
“There was nothing more you could’ve done,” Cody muttered. “It was not your fault.”
“Buir?” Luke called from his room. Cody heard him approaching. “O’buir, what’s wrong?”
Luke stopped short when he entered the room and saw Cody cradling Obi-wan. Obi-wan sniffed and sat up, trying to rub away the tears on his face. Cody held onto Obi-wan tightly, not letting his riduur move far.
“Nothing is wrong, dear one,” Obi-wan said with a fake smile.
“You’re crying!” Luke exclaimed, rushing over to Obi-wan. Cody shuffled over so there was room on Obi-wan’s other side for Luke to sit. Luke stopped in front of the couch; hands held out awkwardly in front of him. “Wha- what happened? Are you ok?”
Obi-wan reached out and grabbed one of Luke’s hands with his own. “Yes, I am. Just remembering old hurts.”
Luke frowned, perceptive as ever. “There’s more to that. You can tell me I’m not an ad’ika anymore.”
“You will always be an ad’ika,” Cody chimed in, releasing Obi-wan so he could sit up fully. “Our ad’ika.”
Luke huffed and pouted, even if he would deny doing so. Obi-wan gently pulled Luke so he sat and was squished between Cody and Obi-wan.
“You’re deflecting,” Luke muttered. Cody chuckled and wrapped an arm around Luke.
“I’m just reminding you of your place,” Cody teased before humming. “O’buir might be deflecting.”
Obi-wan sighed as Luke turned to glare at him. But his riduur was smiling again, so Cody counted as a win. “I wouldn’t call it deflecting as much as a tactical redirect.”
Luke scoffed. “Just tell me what is wrong. I want to help.”
Obi-wan softened and placed a kiss on Luke’s temple. “I know you do, dear. It is just- well, I have gone over a decade repressing it and to say it out loud hurts as if it just happened.”
Luke was frowning and shuffling into Obi-wan. Cody’s heart warmed at the kindness his ad was displaying. “I- ok. Can you tell me what you guys were talking about before, then?”
“We’re thinking about moving,” Cody said, groaning as he shifted to be more comfortable on their small couch. “We’re a bit short on room here.”
“I don’t mind,” Luke responded, looking around their home. “Do we have to move?”
“We don’t have to move, but I believe in the future you will want more personal space,” Obi-wan told Luke gently. Luke clearly didn’t like the idea of moving their home, having become attached to the space. Cody remembered the first time they stayed in their room on the Imperial Center; Luke cried himself to sleep because he wanted to go back to the Executor.
“And we could use more evaporators, but we don’t have room for that here,” Cody added, knowing that Luke would have a harder time disagreeing with that.
Luke stammered as he tried to come up with a counterpoint that wasn’t “I don’t want to,” and eventually gave up with a huffed. Instead, he asked, “Fine. Ok. Do you have an idea where to go? It’s not like we can just get a house in any city.”
Cody shot Obi-wan a look. Obi-wan frowned but nodded. Looking back at his ad, Cody gently said, “There is an old moisture farm in that Jundland Wastes. The old owners- week they don’t live there anymore,”
Luke’s eyes narrowed, annoyingly perceptive. Cody would’ve been annoyed at that if it hadn’t been his fault for teaching Luke to be perceptive. At least he could take pride in knowing that Luke listened to him.
“And?” Luke asked. “There’s more to it.”
Obi-wan sighed, and Cody could see the years weighing on his riduur. “It used to be the Lars homestead. It is where you grew up before-”
Obi-wan cut himself off, looking to the side in a feeble attempt to hide his watering eyes. Cody’s gaze darted between Luke and Obi-wan, and an uneasy silence settled in the room.
“Oh.” Luke’s quiet sound broke the silence.
“Yes. I kept it in good condition, perhaps in some feeble hope they, and you, would return,” Obi-wan admitted weakly.
“And I did,” Luke declared, gaining the glint in his eye that meant he was on a roll. Cody was content to sit back and watch his ad’ika pull Obi-wan out of his self-induced misery. “So it wasn’t just a feeble hope. Like you said, O’buir, ‘there are no coincidences-“
“’Just the will of the Force,’” Obi-wan finished with a small smile. He looked at Cody with a fond glance. “Why is it that children only listen to me just to quote my teaching back at me?”
Cody shrugged and remembered all of the mocking ‘this lightsaber is your life’ he listened to during the war. “At least they listen.”
Luke lightly kicked Cody’s shin. “Anyways-“ Luke stressed. “If the home is there, we might as well use it, right? It’d be wasteful not to.”
“Are you sure?” Obi-wan asked. “I don’t want you to have to deal with any unpleasant memories.”
“O’buir, I don’t remember much from when I was younger,” Luke admitted. “It’s just feelings mostly- the majority of which are good ones. I’ll be ok. Will, uh, will you be ok?”
Obi-wan smiled slightly and stroked a hand down Luke’s hair. “I think with you two at my side, I will be.”
“Well then,” Cody said, leaning his weight into Luke, so he was fully squished between the two adults. Cody took a second to revel in Luke’s laughter. “It’s a good thing we’re not planning on leaving.”

After Jango had filled him in on his cloned soldiers and his idiotic attempts to get revenge on the Jedi Order, Jaster had decided it was high time he try to track down one of his cloned grandchildren. After, of course, a long lecture about how disappointed he was in Jango’s actions. But out of the nearly two million Jango had mentioned, he had only been able to find one.
The man in front of him was so obviously wary of Jaster’s intentions that it hurt. Pulling his helmet off, he gave the man--Marshall Commander Cody, CC-2224, named Kote by Jango himself--a small smile. “Commander, I’m Jaster Mereel, Jango’s buir.” he introduced himself. “I’d just like to talk, if you’d be willing.”

first is only rex going he’s so small and his hair is so long, i need to ruffle that, the second is after a spar where it’s cody turn to do it, so he obvsly do it at the most aggravating moment while rex recovers from cody’s armlock
i mean cody and rex are ones of the first batches right? so they can take privilege as ones of the oldest vode
that means bullying boba, but like in a brotherly way obvsly
au where in a moment of grief, boba fett has THE epiphany (meaning he’ll save all his brothers while i also get to draw fluffy stuff with them)

Fives: wait, that's the way they were going to kill me off?
Cain: yup.
Fives: but- but Blink made sure I wore the blaster proof-
Cain: not in the show.
Fives: why?!
Cain: you never met me. We didn't Click, so you never met Blink, and you found out about the chips because Tup's malfunctioned and he shot a Jedi and later died. When you went to tell Rex you didn't even have any backup.
Fives: *whistles* one missing paranoid ori'vod and I end up fried. Do they at least get Fox out?
Cain: no, he went on to be an imperial commander that Vader killed in a moment of vindictive rage.
Fives: so Levi never-
Cain: nope.
Fives: but that would mean we never got to meet the BABIES!

NEW WEEK, NEW RECS! START SENDING YOUR FAVORITE FANDOM CREATIONS FROM THIS WEEK IN FOR ME TO QUEUE UP FOR FRIDAY!
The goal of Fandom Friday: provide a place where people can shout-out their favorite creators from the week, whether it’s a piece of fan art that made you smile or a fanfic that moved you. Drop a link to your favorite creations this week into my ask box along with what you loved about it, and I will give them a shout! It doesn’t have to be Star Wars either! If it’s on another website (AO3, Twitter, etc.), please be sure to state that as well.
This happens each week, so don’t feel like you’ve got to get out everything in one week. Just keep track of them throughout the week or send me an ask whenever you find something, and I’ll drop them all on Fridays (or throughout the weekend if I get a lot). You may submit for this week until THURSDAY MORNING (I’m in the Pacific timezone). Anything received after that will roll to the next week. A summary of the weeks’ recs will get added onto this post on Saturday, so check back here for all of the awesome fics and art! And be sure to go give the creations on that list some love (and don’t just share the ask responses I put out).
This week’s submissions will start posting on Friday, October 6 13.
Rules and additional details under the cut! PLEASE make sure you read the rules before sending something in. If your submission violates any of the rules, I will delete it.
Rules:
Please send submissions to my ask box (sending them all to one place makes wrangling them easier each week). In your ask, please include the creator’s handle, a link to their work/post (if links aren’t working for the ask, please DM me them), and what you loved about it!
Please ensure the link is to the creator’s original post and not your own reblog or repost of their work (if they’re on another platform). The idea is to drive people to visit the creator’s page!
The creation does not have to have been posted this week! It can be something older. Also, don’t worry about whether or not a rec is a repeat from a prior week. Just looking to celebrate things that made an impression on you this week, whether you’ve seen it before or not!
NSFW is alright! Just make sure you note it in the ask so I can flag appropriately! Since I’m including 18+ material, minors may not participate. 18+ posts will be tagged with NSFT/lemon/lemony lemon (trying to cover all my bases).
NO incest, underage, cl*necest, master/padawan (or similar power dynamics), dub-con/non-con/rape. Also, no H*rry Potter. There are a few others that I also won’t share due to my discomfort with them (i.e., R*xsoka), so if you’re not sure, ask. Also, many of you submit multiple works at once, and that’s fine, but if one of those works contains something that violates the rules, I will delete the entire ask, so something to be extra careful about when submitting!
If your rec involves spoilers from a show that’s currently running, please include that info in the ask so I can tag it appropriately (I will normally tag a few different ways, but I always use #<show title> spoilers if you need to filter, for example: Andor spoilerswill be tagged #Andor Spoilers). I will stop tagging spoilers two weeks after the show stops airing.
You can submit GIF sets or edits, but please ensure you are submitting from the blog that actually created them. Wanted to add that caution since there’s been a lot of people stealing/reposting GIFs and edits in particular recently. So just be cautious.
Try to avoid commentary in your ask that might make others feel bad (“the only person who knows how to write XXX correctly…”). It’s important to be able to appreciate creators without making others feel bad, so let’s try to keep the commentary complimentary without being off-putting for other creators.
Self recommendations are allowed and encouraged! Shout out your own hard work! You deserve the recognition!
*Rules subject to change so PLEASE make sure you read them before sending something in. If your submission violates any of the rules, I will delete it.
**If you have any questions about any of the rules, don’t hesitate to DM me!In addition to sending me asks, I highly encourage you to go either leave a comment on and/or reblog someone’s work (tag me or use the #Fandom Friday tag if you do!). Let’s get the interaction back up on this website and show the creators that work so hard on their stuff some love!

For those of you who would looooove content that is just straight badass Mando (not that there is something wrong with smut but come on??)
(Re)convene Time travel, whole gang of Ezra, Din, Boba, Fennec, Omega, Ashoka, we go fuck palp up!
According To Creed Every chapter is like a new episode of The Mandalorian, kinda awesome ;3
All hail the Mand'alor (by: Derek_the_Dalek) Wholesome badassory, where everything is great <3 Now this one is a little tricky with it’s chronological order. I don’t really agree with the authors choice. I might be wrong, but here is how i would read it;
The found The name (first chapter) The council The historian The legend The temple The name (fourth chapter) The name (second chapter) The name (third chapter) The name (sixth chapter) The leader The name (fifth chapter) The son The name (seventh chapter) The name (eighth chapter)
All help us survive Din forces Boba to be part of the mandoade 😆 Aliit ori'shya tal'din A uncompleted story about a dad failing to not adopt every child he meets.
An Unworthy Hand Seconds after Grogu was taken away by Luke, what was going on in Din's mind?
All the story's A ridiculous and comedic story of "what happens after Din leaves with Grogu after Tattoine". Sadly, the author discontinued the story since the didn’t know how to keep it going...
Back in Beskar Another hilarious story of what happens after Grogu and Luke takes off in season 2. XD
Mand'alor'ika DIN IS TINY!!! I REPEAT, DIN IS TINY!!!! (adult mind in tiny body back in time)
Blow in Like a Hurricane (Everyone Will Know my Name) Nobody seems to realise that the unsuspecting Din is actually Mand'alor. Including Luke and Leia XD Buir Everyone’s POV on the Dadalorian and Grogurt.
Clones and Kings Rex gets a task from Ashoka, "Take care of this dude. He is a magnet for disasters" Curse and Cure Din takes (tries) his role as the Mand'alor with some help from Luke, Leia and other members of the universe. Demons Run When a Good Man Goes to War Evil people has done something bad to someone (it's Grogu, always is), and Din is royaly pissed off. Din Djarin and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Time Travel Incident Time travel, Din meets Anakin and Obi. Anakin is convinced that Din is some oooold Mandalorian.
Filling the Empty Nest Din figures out what to do with himself after season 2, misses Grogu, and somehow ends up rebuilding Mandalore. From Foundling to Father Din is eight. Gets rescued. His dad learns how to be a dad to him. (I seriously wish the author will continue the story T.T) Short works Some sad some interesting. Honor thy Clan What would happen if most of the survivors after the purge was children? General Mudhorn (and the time traveling bush) Just like the title says, plus som time travel Grogu's Adventures in Acquiring a Buir Grogus POV from the beginning to the moment Luke takes him away. Homebound Ain’t some teenage angst Ben Solo going to stop the might Grogu! if love is the answer, you're home Din is just being a dad, missing his son. And then there is Luke who is really bad at tracking.. In harmony The ehh.... the armor is alive... The Mand’alor and the Jedi These stories are by faaaar the best ones out there. I can’t give the author enough love. The writing, the pacing, all the characters that stays.... I can’t recommend it enough! If you love The Mandalorian, then you will DEFINITELY love these works!!!!!! Lost in time The clones Rex, Cody and Fives travel forward in time. Din's dad instincts kicks in. Mandalorian Menace Time travel, Din adops Anakin. F*** you Jedi more alike than apart Din and Sabine doing a heist and become mandosiblings (boba and Din are bros)😎 My Neighbor, My Neighbor, and Me Modern AU Din and others No Holy Cities Around the time when Din is introduced to the mandalorians. Nowhere King Time travel. Din has been Mand'alor for a long time, and then... the most horrible happens... he comes from nowhere and plans to fix the galaxy. Only the Parent You Will Be Hera Syndulla and Din Djarin's children call to each other and then stuff happens. Oya Manda'lor! (15 years and up (cus this ain’t america), warning of smut) This one is mostly 98% badass buuut... ehh... there is mentioning of smut.. and the other works of the same person... is hella ssmutty 😳 Time travel, Din meets Jaster. Phoenix Rising: Stronger Together Duology (15 years and up (cus this ain’t america), warning of smut) This one... again, mostly badass, around 89% badass. There is smut😑 Din is in pieces after Grogu left with Luke. Ashoka comforts him and Bo-Katan is a bitch. Ring out the song of the Midnight Blade Din and the darksaber takes on the empire. Highly recommend that you listen to the song at the same time you read this one. https://youtu.be/toJD2eJ4zvo Suddenly, I'm Respectable AU in which Bail and Breha Organa have a backup plan in place for Leia's rescue. The Consequences of Wearing a Touchy Mystical Laser Sword Din (and some others (not gonna tell😉)) shrink to their child sizes and try to fix the galaxy. Some humor, hehe. The Deserter Okey... everyone is allowed to pine for Din, but Din is as sexual as a brickwall!!!! The Pros and Cons of Time Travel and Force Visions Time travel. Mando being (as usual) a himbo, while senators and Jedi try to understand the situation... The Way of Conquest Time travel. Me, the force, Yoda and the author are giggling like maniacs 8D Truth and Consequences Okey soooo this one doesn’t really have Din in it... much... Tor Vizla and Jaster Mereel gets bonked on their heads by their grandchildren. The Mandalorian and the Rebel Spy Cassian gets adopted by Din's buir and they, sort of, grews up together. They're Gonna Give You Hell This one is by far the funniest shit ever🤣 do NOT read where you need to be quiet!! (i accidentally laughed in a quiet auditorium...) Time is a social construct Time travel, Din adopts Satine and Obi. Trust Luke travel to Mandalor and training begins. Vortex Amnesia for Din, he only remember that Grogu left. Nope. 2 years have gone by! You Can Worship the Ashes Time travel. Din saves Fives. you were only waiting for this moment to arise Rey gets (sort of) adopted by Din.
Edit: For some bloody reason, some of the shortcuts has been mixed up. Which would me that I will have to redo the whole list… I will (maybe) fix it in the future. But during that time, i highly suggest that you search for the name on ao3.
