So I've been re-reading "The Raven and the Snake" and I love Clora and Seb together. Unfortunately, I am not much of an artist - unless you count stick figures wearing top hats as art - but it has inspired me to get back into writing. So I guess my ask is, if I wrote something inspired by Clora/Seb, would you be okay if I posted it?

Meet the player characters of Curse of Strahd: The Golden Thread

Toby (she/they) is a half-elf wizard/rogue and a private investigator. They’re clever, calculating, and slow to trust, yet they have proven a loyal friend to their companions. An orphan, Toby’s only family was her gnome mentor, at whose hands they suffered a grave betrayal.

Toby is now trying to rid themselves of a curse placed on them by said mentor, while also attempting to navigate their entanglement with all the mysterious powers in Barovia.

…and then there is their slowly blossoming romance with the most dangerous woman in all of Barovia.

Sylenas (he/him) is a bard/warlock half-drow who left his cozy halfling village to pursue his dream of becoming a musician. Unlike the more stereotypical bards, Sylenas is quiet and on the shy side when not on stage, but he’s still as witty as the best of his profession.

The many perils of Barovia have tested the limits of his courage, and in a way, broken and remade him.

Then there is also Sylenas’ patron, an archfey named Fifer, whose attachment to him goes so far beyond the usual patron-warlock relationship, which has caused Sylenas all kinds of issues, both in this life and in the lives that came before.

But hey, what could possibly go wrong when an archfey loves you?

Mirger (she/her) is a happy-go-lucky ranger/rogue half-orc hailing from the mountains. She is kind, courageous, and eager to accept the people around her, but doesn’t shy away from hurting those who deserve it. Having grown up sheltered by her adoptive family, she now seeks adventure, yet Barovia is proving to be a lot more than she bargained for.

Her mysterious connection to a parasitic god, and the ghosts of her ancestors keep on pulling her away from the solid stone she built her understanding of reality on.

Fortunately, Mirger hasn’t just found capable allies in her companions, but also landed herself a girlfriend – Ezmeralda, the famous Vistani monster hunter.

Galen (he/him) is an aasimar/dhampyr cleric of Pelor. While he is noticeably older than his companions, he has also essentially stopped aging… around 200 years ago. He is idealistic, deeply kind, and patient, proving that not all those who have a craving for blood are out to hurt people.

Coming to Barovia, Galen learned that while his companions were all born, he was created, and his body’s essence once belonged to the Barovian demi-god known as the Sun Saint.

Chasing humanity more than divinity, Galen has forged a bond with the Vistani werewolf Arrigal, who knows a thing or two about being mistaken for a monster.

People loving android!Robin makes me so happy anansnssndsnsns she's curious and excitable and full of wonder and the world keeps punishing her for simply being alive. Sometimes it's too painful even for me, big whump lover 😭😭 though seriously, there is not enough Robin whump, and while all the characters in the show are very whumpeable, hurting my little blorbo Robin feels special because... she's just so deeply lonely. She's lonely and she thinks she deserves to be because of something wrong with her (pulling this interpretation from Surviving Hawkins lore which is canon to me 😭). That was a big idea I had when I first came up with android!Robin... that there is something wrong with her. Broken. In this AU she's literally broken in a lot of way (battery and memory problems, weak joints in her lower half, etc), but that's all within the range of normal robot problems. The real issue with her is that she's sentient. It terrifies people because it really brings out the existencial horror of... well, existing. It terrifies Robin most of all. She is the problem. She is what's wrong with her. She shouldn't exist.

But at the same time, she loves being alive so much! She doesn't understand it and doesn't know how it happened, but it happened, and now she's real and wants to experience life and the world and know people like human beings do. So it's her constant battle to become human despite humans having hurt her so much in the past... only for Nancy to already see her as human. Just one made of metal and plastic, but human nonetheless. She's the first person to see her that way and maybe everyone else thinks she's crazy, but Nancy is used to that. She's so sure of this, though, of Robin's self-awareness. She trusts her so blindly. She doesn't even need proof. And not only does she believe her, but she defends her humanity in front of her friends and family so ardently, fighting so hard for Robin to be aknowledged by everyone else as human. Fighting so hard to give her a home and family for the first time in her life.

Nancy has it bad for Robin, really. She's just so in love, even if everyone else thinks she's crazy for falling in love with a machine (no one thinks she is, though, because they all know Robin, and once you know Robin, it's impossible not to love her).

just averaged destiel's weekly ranking for the last ten months. currently it should come in 8th if the positions are non weighted and all top positions are equal regardless of what their actual real numbers look like. also. hey. im not kidding when i say every single week for the last ten months destiel has been on the top 20 list. i stopped researching at the mark where they stop counting for 2023's year in review but it was also on all of septembers lists. other pairings fall in and out seasonally (stranger things ships uptick in the summer then disappear again, good omens currently trending, nimona guys trending last week then falling back off, etc) but destiel is pulling an average rank of 8 every. single. week. for the last year

just a silly thing with friends mostly… a very small handful have POVs uploaded to youtube. I will be one of those people as soon as I finish episode 3 (I have two episodes finished and unlisted but my alien conspiracy bullshit really kicks into gear in session 3, so that seems like it’d be a good signifier for how the remainder of the Bree POV watching experience will be like. hence why im uploading at that benchmark specifically)
