Night Out (III) - Tim Drake
Tumblr media
After discovering Tim is the Red Robin, his behavior starts to make a lot more sense. One confession leads to another...
AN; and we are done!! i hope u all enjoy the final installment of the tim drake miniseries. never done anything like this before and very grateful for the support <33 literally wouldn't have written it otherwise
Wordcount; 1k
TW; cursing, choking, minor injuries, tim being a simp
You don't have to puzzle over Tim's strange behavior for too long. Just days after the incident in the alleyway, you're watching a news report on the Red Robin, who was spotted fighting Dr. Freeze with Nightwing's help somewhere in the Diamond District.
The news anchors play a clip of Robin protecting civilians while Nightwing kicks ass in the background, and when Robin pushes an elderly man out of the way of Dr. Freeze's ray gun, you get deja vu; The arm flung in front of the civilian, the reaching for something in his utility belt--the vigilante's motions match Tim's exactly, right down to the damn batarang.
And then Dr. Freeze kicks Tim in the gut, and you can't keep watching.
You're not sure if you're the world's best detective, if Tim's horrible at hiding things, or if it was just plain luck, but ever since you put two and two together things have been making a lot more sense. Namely, why he constantly backs out of plans at the last minute and is busiest at 3am. His vigilante status might also have something to do with the ungodly levels of caffeine he consumes, but you're pretty sure he'd be drinking all that coffee regardless of whether he was Red Robin or not.
Unfortunately, you figured this out days before finals week, and you know that if you don't confront him you'll be distracted the whole time you're taking exams...
...Which is what leads you to where you are now. You're sitting in the passenger seat of Tim's fancy car (it's glossy black with custom upholstery to match--really, the whole 'Batman and Robin' thing should've been way more obvious) and chowing down on Big Belly Burger in a parking garage.
"So," you start, taking a sip of your drink to steel yourself, "I have something to tell you."
He swallows a gulp of food, brow furrowing. "Which is?"
"Y'might wanna put the food down for a second."
Tim huffs out a laugh. "No way it's anything that serious."
"Uh, I know you're Robin?"
He chokes.
Thirty seconds and several gulps of water later, Tim is staring at you with a dumbfounded expression that would be comical if the stakes of the situation weren't so high. Are the stakes high? You're not really sure. While you don't peg Batman as the type to have his vigilantes assassinate randos for figuring out their secret identities, he's a grown man running around dressed up like a bat. Who knows what goes on in his head?
Well. Tim might.
Regardless, Tim doesn't even attempt to dispute you. After sitting in silence for an additional two minutes, he just sort of... shrugs?
"Yeah. You're right."
You blink at him. You're not sure what you expected, exactly, but him owning up to it with zero hesitation was definitely not it. "You're just gonna admit it?"
"I mean-" he shrugs again. "What am I supposed to do? Dispute you? I'm sure you've got evidence."
You say nothing.
"You had no evidence?"
"I had a hunch," you protest, "And you just confirmed it!"
He groans, dropping his head into his hands. "You only had a hunch? No photos? No eyewitnesses?"
"It's almost finals week! What was I supposed to do, drop everything and research you instead of my term paper?"
"No, obviously not. Sorry. I'm just..."
"Shocked? Surprised? Caught off guard?"
"Well, you saw the news," he says dryly. Reaching for the hem of his shirt (also black, it was so obvious), he pulls it up a few inches to reveal a dark bruise splashed across his abdomen.
His incredibly toned abdomen--
You wince. "Ouch."
"Yeah, no kidding." At that moment, Tim's cheeks flush pink, and he quickly pulls his shirt back down. "Uh, sorry. Didn't mean to... you know."
"Nah, it's fine," you say, opting to stare out the window so Tim doesn't catch you blushing, "It's not a bad view, if that makes you feel any better."
Wait, what the fuck did you just say?
Your eyes go wide, and you immediately drop your gaze to your lap. There's a time and place for flirting with your best friend who's also Red Robin, and that time and place is not right after he's shown you his injuries and admitted to having a secret identity.
Except maybe it is, because when you risk a glance at Tim, his lower lip is pulled between his teeth and his eyes look just a touch hazy.
"You think I look good?" He murmurs, and you forget everything that's ever happened, ever.
"Yeah," you admit, looking around his face rather than at it, "And I was gonna tell you about that the other night. But, um, then we got interrupted."
Tim sucks in a small breath.
"So judging by your reaction, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that you feel the same way...?"
"No," he deadpans, "I'm just staring at you like you hung the moon because I'm bored."
You blink at him. "You better be fucking joking--"
Tim reaches across the console, cups your jaw in his hand, and pulls your lips onto his.
You gasp. He swallows up the noise, moving slowly, deliberately, like he's been thinking about this moment for a long time; his fingers tremble but he guides your movements regardless, pulling you as close as he can manage with the console in the way.
Tim makes a small, muted noise when you slide your fingers into his hair. It shocks both of you enough to break the kiss--you stare at each other, unblinking. Then someone moves and the cup of ketchup you'd been sharing tips over and launches itself all over Tim's lap.
Both of you burst into laughter.
"You know," Tim says a few moments later, "You figuring out that I'm Robin is, um... really hot," he confesses, cheeks turning the same shade as the ketchup he's wiping off of his pants.
"Really?" you ask, still trying to catch your breath between giggles.
He looks you dead in the eye. "Really."
You dissolve into laughter again, and somehow you just know that your relationship with Tim--whatever form it takes--is right.

Déjà Vu ; Paige Bueckers ౨ৎ•
Tumblr media
꣑୧ — summary | based on the song “Deja vu” by Olivia Rodrigo !
wc ; 1.4k
— warnings | Paige lowkey being a bad girlfriend , jealousy , arguments , use of foul language , angst , etc.
my master list ㇀♡
a/n : i ❤️ writing angst 😈 , tried something new while using a different song. Enjoy bestiesss ◡̈
Tumblr media
It had been weeks since you and Paige had broken up, things were just too complicated between the two of you.
You wanted something serious, something made to last. But Paige wasn’t necessarily interested in that, while she did love you; you two were just opposing forces. Your relationship was trying to force two magnets together that clearly didn't attract to each other, or trying to force puzzle pieces together.
While you wish you could say it ended on good, mutual terms, the truth was quite far from that. You and Paige continuously argued throughout the couple of weeks leading up to your split. Whether it was about who you both were hanging out with, who didn't do the dishes, your social media presence, you've probably argued about absolutely anything under the sun.
Which is why when she suddenly broke up with you, you weren't surprised to say the least. You practically saw it coming, both of you slowly distancing yourselves, spending less and less time together, it was bound to happen at some point. But at this point in time, you were tired of begging her to talk to you, begging her to work things out with you. You simply gave up, knowing in the back of your mind that if it was meant to be it would've been, and things would have already fallen into place.
You had already figured that she had moved on, you just didn't expect it to be that fast. You knew the type of person she was, but it did sting a little bit knowing that your 2 ½ year relationship didn't really mean that much to her. Your mind instantly starts thinking of the what-ifs, what could have possibly made a difference in your relationship, and this infuriated you.
I mean, what the fuck was her deal? Trying to tell everyone you both ended amicably, how you eventually wanted to try again, but immediately getting with some other chick? I mean come on now. That was just petty and low.
And as if the universe was playing a joke on you, with the weeks after your breakup it seemed as if you were seeing the blonde everywhere, whether it was throughout the campus grounds, or perhaps at the gym. But nothing could have prepared you for your next encounter with the 6’0 point guard.
It was a friday night, and you had just finished your last final of the school year, the air was cool, and the sun was setting. Your friends had decided to celebrate by going to an end of the year house party, hosted by one of UConns most infamous frat houses.
To be frank, you didn't really feel like going, the idea of being surrounded by a bunch of drunk college kids didn't really appeal to you. But somehow, your friends managed to convince you.
You wore a skin tight, tantalizing, black lace dress with some simple black pumps, dabbing a tiny, but noticeable amount of makeup on your face, that enhanced all your natural features.
As you entered and made your way through the party, music thumped loudly, echoing through the house and drawing people in. The air is thick with the smell of alcohol and sweat, mixed with the faint scent of cheap cologne and perfume.
Inside, the main room is packed with people dancing, laughing, and drinking. Red cups are scattered everywhere, filled with various concoctions of alcohol. The dance floor is a mass of bodies, moving and swaying to the sound of the music. With Strobe lights flashing, adding to the chaotic atmosphere.
After glancing around and observing the chaos filled room, you made your way to the make-shift bar set up near the kitchen, quickly helping yourself to the wide variety of alcoholic beverages the frat boys had to offer. You soon noticed a figure out of the corner of your eye lurking behind you, not paying any attention to it, you continued to tending to your drinks, hoping that whoever was behind you would just leave you alone.
As you turned around, you were met with a familiar set of blue eyes. The eyes that caused you so much pain and distress. You furrowed your brows, slightly frowning, before spitting out “what the fuck do you want?”, the blonde looked away slightly, before mumbling out a, “I just wanted to apologize to you, and yk make sure we were cool.”
If you weren't pissed off before, you certainly were now. You laughed slightly, before replying, “That's bullshit and you know it P.” Before quickly walking away, hoping to not run into her for the rest of the night.
But of course, the universe just couldn't let that happen. It felt as if everywhere you turned to, there she was, with a girl all over her. Whether she had her tongue down her throat, or occasionally grinding on each other, it didn't matter. All you knew was that this was Paige’s sick and twisted way of trying to make you jealous.
While it's shameful to admit now, you couldn't help but keep the shots coming, doing anything to keep your mind off the blonde.
It was only then when you spotted the two out of the corner of your eye, dancing on the dance floor. For some reason this dance looked oddly familiar, as if you've seen it somewhere. That's when it hit you, this was your dance, a dance you only did when your song was on, which to your luck happened to be playing.
A feeling of adrenaline and anger rushed over you, it was almost as if all your rationale just left your body and went to outer space. You quickly stormed your way over to both of them before spewing “So when you gonna tell her that we did that too??” Before looking over at the girl, who was now in return giving you a confused look, you continued, “She probably thinks its special, but it's all reused.”
“Y/N cmon, can we talk about this somewhere else?” Paige chimes in, before you snap a simple “No no, do you get deja vu when she's with you? Because i mean come on it’s so fucking obvious that-” the blonde cut you off by simply dragging you away from the living room and into the back patio of the house.
“Is that what this is about?” she says harshly, “why are you even so upset to begin with?” You felt as if someone had just punched you, not being able to grasp the fact that she herself can't grasp why you're so upset. “Dont act like we didn't do that shit too paige” you scoffed, “You're so pathetic. A different girl now but there's nothing new.”
The blonde just looks back at you, her gaze softening a bit, she bit her lip in anticipation of what you were going to say next, with tears welling in your eyes you managed to stammer out, “Do you call her, almost say my name? Because let’s be honest, we kinda do sound the same.”
A few minutes go by, the blonde remained quiet, just observing you through your sudden fit of rage; something you rarely did throughout your relationship. As if it was like clockwork, you suddenly snapped out of your sudden jealousy filled haze, and simply averted your eyes from Paige and onto the ground below you. Just releasing an annoyed sigh as you came to realization that you just word vomited incoherent sentences of jealousy to your ex.
The girl finally broke her silence, simply saying , “are you finally going to let me get a word in y/n?” But at this point, it was too late for the blonde to try and explain her actions, to give you closure, even tho in reality that is what you wanted; you knew you had to move on and try to rebuild your life outside of the blonde.
You simply shook your head in response, stating a sharp, “No, Paige. Im done trying to get you to understand what you did was wrong, and why it’s shitty that you keep doing it. Im done with you, goodbye.”
Before she could even reply you were already on your way out, the loud environment seeming to drown out everything and everyone around you. But unbeknownst to you, the blonde had given you a reply. Mumbling under her breath just quiet enough that you could hopefully hear it within earshot,
“But I wanted it to be you.”
muahahahahaha !!! Idk how to feel abt this tbh…uhmmmm ??? as always tysm for reading !

Astrology observations part 8 🪽
(Disclaimer: this post is just some observations not facts. If you can’t relate to any of those that’s okay we all have different experiences)
- Pisces with fire placements make someone that is aggressive than usual. Especially if they have Aries in the personal placements but the good about it is that they are passionate about their loved ones
- Gemini’s are either really honest or the most sneaky bitches ever
- Capricorn are either really loud or hate loud people and even if they are on the loud side as they grow older they will calm down a lot.
- I have noticed that anyone who has Leo placements or 5th house makes them really happy, smiley or positive people.
- libra women smile a lot for now reason sometimes or they are the type of women who will laugh at ur joke even if it isn’t funny at all. (fake it till u make it girly pops)
- 8th house,Scorpio,Taurus and Leo placements they don’t forgive and don’t forget. (Be aware they can turn you into a stranger)
- believe it or not Gemini are really romantic people and they always looking for love. That’s why they getting married a lot of times or have a lot of lovers through their lives (especially women)
- earth signs are ruthless when they are angry.
- you can’t lie to Scorpio,Leo,Capricorn and Virgo placements. They are always 1 step ahead of you.
- 6th house mercury will talk about health, being organised and work.
- I have noticed that air placements are so good with technology (my mom is 56 and has a lot of Gemini placements and when I show her something then she gets it and uses the phone like a pro)
- I’m talking from personal experience but as a Pisces I always get Deja vu. Like I’m sitting with my bestie and then I stop and say “why I feel we have been said that before" I’m a delusional baddie 💅🏻 so Siri play Deja vu by Beyoncé
- Scorpio sun with Scorpio mercury and Scorpio rising is something with one look it’s scarryyy but actually they might be goal oriented and very closed people but once u are in their circle they will treat you like you are the most special human being.
- why air mercuries have to be soo sarcastic…? Like y’all funny I love it so much tho.
- mutable signs can do 100 things at once. (Me who writes this blogs, eats, watches a show and play a game between thoughts).
- Pisces mercury are sooo creative and sweet. Like I can’t even tell u have much of good listeners they are.
- I have noticed that Leo or fire signs tend to share a story by adding a lot of sauces to make it sound more dramatic. Definitely the best story tellers
- Aquarius placements are funnyyy because something serious is happening and they don’t react at all they just act like everything is fine. They might cry and still go the things they have to do
- water signs + Taurus love to sleep a lot. (Lazy girly pops 💅🏻)
- I don’t know why but I have noticed all the Capricorn people I have met or seen in my life they are TALL. Like idk why that happens.
- earth signs want things to be done…fast as possible . Time is money 🤌🏻
- Sagittarius and Aquarius love to travel A LOT
- cancers are amazing in anything that has to do painting or drawing.
That’s all🪽
Thank u for reading until the end. I’m greatful about it 🥰 again these aren’t facts and I’m not native American so I’m trying my best.
Stay healthy and hydrated 🫶🏻🥰

GENSHIN WITH A TEEN!CREATOR WHO IS LIKE LUZ NOCEDA PART TWO
okay so this is part two and i'm just so dizzy but i'v been ALL THE MAMAHUEVO day thinking about this so yeah
TW: gn reader, teenager reader (ALL IS PLATONIC), some mentions of bullying but not that many, maybe sm angstand a lot of spoilers abut the archons missions, reader calling themselfs "bad boy" but meh
part one :)
Tumblr media
So you were running for your life
No, seriously you're running for your life, don't laugh about it again
Some random people with a very ugly green uniform were hunting you like you were some type of a witch of the 1600's because you tried to ask them for directions
People of the town being so mean to you sounds like a frocking fanfic trope
Your weak nerd legs wouldn't handle it anymore, but you still running like they have told you there is a special product of your hyperfixation on sale.
AND! you have an egg
A magic egg, with... shinny shell
Running, running, running, blahblahblah, you almost pass out when you lost them closer to a beach
Pretty view, huh?
You heard their steps and hide behind a big stone, your legs and lap now wet by the crystal water
They left and you stop holding the staff like your life dependet of it.
Oh! that's your reflection, you haven't seen your face in hours
...
THAT'S NOT YOUR FACE
The horns and the black eyes felt like some very creep vision of yourself, but you couldn't get that first impresion of you out of your head.
You looked like something, not like someone
Even though your face looks "correct" now, the feeling of the itchy skin and the fragile organs aren't something you would forget any time soon.
"Well, let's not think about that, this bad boy needs to find any social community or will cry" you jump of the stone and continue walking wherever the wind guides you
Actaully, why does the wind feels like guiding you?
pointpointpoint
WHATEVER PROBABLY YOUR SKIN FELLING TO MUCH LIKE ALWAYS :D
(Venti actually let out a big sigh lol)
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY ARE GONE, JEAN?!"
"Why do I feel a deja vu about all this?"
And there they were, the most influent persons of all Mondstadt discussin about this very serious problem to solve... and a bard (who is actually their god but shhh).
"But, what do we do now? We don't have any idea of-" the bard was interrupted by the youngest girl.
"Master Jean, we must ask to the Traveler for more information, that letter is the only thing we have? Amber asked, her frown hidding her tears.
"Sadly yes, Amber. This is the only thing we have to prepare ourself in any case" Jean said, her untied blond hair flying around.
"What do you mean with 'prepare ourself', Jean?" Diluc asked, his leg shacking with anxiety.
"Well" the witch started, avoiding eye contact.
"Aether said... that probably his Guide... the new found god that had been helping us is now..." Kaeya said, walking around the room. Everyone felt his nerves, because they were just as nervous as him. "It's now corporeal"
"What"
"Corporeal, we can touch them, they are now... With us."
Silence filled the room, holding breaths and silent screams are all the winds can reach.
"Master Jean!" Noelle enter to the room, feeling the heavy vibes of the place, still stay with a anxious face.
"What's wrong, Noelle?" she replaid.
"Umh well..." She took a deep breath, letting it all out in a shout with a bow.
"There's a prisioner teenager who scaped from the bouild with rare magic, they don't have any visions and they act like they were from another world, like Traveler!" a quiet and long time pass, slow and slow and- "Okay I'm going, anything you need just say my name."
She leave, then, a loud shout singing the same song was heard in any corner of Monds.
"THE CREATOR!"
I'M SO DIZZY THIS COULD BE A LOT BETTER BUT THAT'S IT BY NOW, TOMORROW I WILL PUBLIC THE PART 3, BYE :)

The way people were harping on Dovewing dying in Ivypool’s Heart gives me serious Ferncloud vibes.
It annoyed me when people justified their theory because “Dovewing hasn’t been doing anything but have kits/be a mother”. God forbid one of the female characters be a loving mother to her children. God forbid she worry about them, especially after one of her sons was almost killed and the other actually died.
Ferncloud was killed off for being the motherly type and it’s IMO some weird Deja vu that her granddaughter is being seen in the same light by the fandom.
I also disliked how people were quick to excuse Ivypool’s outburst on Dovewing’s pain not being as bad as hers because Rowankit was a baby and in StarClan whilst Bristlefrost was an adult and is gone forever. Imagine trying to justify the belief that a BABY’S death isn’t as bad as an adult’s. Both deaths are awful experiences in their own right.
Yes, Ivypool was grieving. She lashed out. She’s still wrong though and people need to stop using mental illness/distress as an excuse to hurt others. Unfortunately the story doesn’t have her apologize for it. However, the story did good when it had Ivypool realize that whilst Rowankit was a baby, Dovewing grieved for what could’ve been. Bristlefrost said her good-byes and was prepared to die; she chose to sacrifice herself. Rowankit didn’t choose to die and he suffered slowly, suffocating day after day until his little body couldn’t fight anymore. Dovewing had to watch helplessly as her son suffered and died and wait for help that never arrived. She clung onto hope that failed her. She’s in pain but trying to stay alive.

a frappuccino addict's guide to love
synopsis : jungwon is the cute regular at the cafe you work at. you wonder what he’s always typing about on his computer.
tw: mentions of drinks, swearing, yelling (in surprise)
wc: ~1k
notes: this is all over the place lol
It’s unfairly distracting, the way Jungwon sips his coffee. His fingers are way too pretty for you not to stare as he lifts the coffee cup, and his lips look so soft–
“No crushing on the customers!” Eunchae teases, and you snap out of your mildly creepy trance to glare at her.
She just laughs, and when you turn to look back, Jungwon is typing away on his computer like he always does. He smiles, suddenly, leaning back into the same wooden chair he always sits in–
Eunchae fake-coughs super loudly, and you turn around, exasperated.
“No one’s even he–” you trail off, making eye contact with a grumpy-looking woman standing in front of the counter.
You shuffle over to the cash register.
“Sorry about that. What can I get for you today?”
“Maybe he’s sick?” Eunchae suggests.
You both stare at the frappuccino, sitting untouched on the counter.
You look out at the night through the glass cafe doors.
“But he’s a Hot Coffee Shop Guy. Those aren’t supposed to get sick.”
“I don’t know what to tell you.” Eunchae mumbles.
There’s a beat of silence, and then, “You’re probably right. He’s probably just sick or something.” You take the frappuccino and sip it.
Eunchae rolls her eyes. “You switch up so fast sometimes.”
But what she doesn’t know is that you’re smiling because you’re thinking about him, butterflies rushing around in your stomach.
If he is sick, it must be serious, because he’s been gone for 2 weeks. He hadn’t missed a day of your shift for 8 months, and now nothing.
“I hope everything’s okay,” you mutter to Eunchae.
“Mhm,” she says, too engrossed in her book to listen to you.
You grab the book and tug it out of her hands.
“I’m serious! I’m kind of worried about him. What are you reading that’s so important, anyway?”
She finally looks up. “Oh my god! It’s so good, it’s about this girl who’s a barista, and she writes her number on this hot customer’s coffee cup, oh yeah, he’s like a regular, and she has a crush on him, but anyway, one day she writes her number on the cup that she gives him and, well,” she trails off a bit, “that’s how far I’ve gotten.”
You scoff. “That sounds so cliche.”
“It is! But, it’s like, good cliche, you know? Like a kdrama.” You look at the cover.
#1 New York Times Bestseller
a frappuccino addict’s guide to love
by Yang Ju-
“I have to know what happens next.” Eunchae pulls the book away from you.
“Hold on a second, Eunchae, what’s the author’s name?” You swear it looked familiar.
She sighs, dramatically closing the cover to look at it. “Yang Jungwon.” she states, eyebrows raised. “Now let me read my book in peace. We never get a lull in customers on Fridays.”
You freeze. That feeling of deja vu appears again. “Yang,” you pause, “Yang Jungwon?”
“Oh my god, yes, now will you please shut up?”
“Eunchae!” you yell. “That’s Hot Coffee Shop Guy’s name!”
There’s silence.
“No way…” she whispers. “Is that-”
“why he was always typing on his computer!” you both yell.
Eunchae whips out her phone, and her mouth drops open in shock. She turns her phone around so you can see, and there, on google, is Hot Coffee Shop Guy.
“He’s famous!” she exclaims.
Your first thought is that he looks really good. He looks so happy in his author photo, his smile making you smile.
And then you get sad, which feels stupid, because you only ever talked to him in a cafe while he was writing and you were working, but you miss him. You miss him because he would always smile at you when he came in, which may or may not have made you freak out internally, and sometimes he would leave little smiley faces on sticky notes with his tips. You miss him because sometimes he would sit at the counter and he would talk to you about his life, how it was his little sister’s birthday tomorrow, and how he had no idea what to get her (a book, maybe? Does she like to read?) You didn’t notice how he lit up when you mentioned books that day. You miss him because one time you were having a terrible day, and he told you everything was going to be okay, and then it was. You had a lot of terrible days, and he always made them better somehow. You miss him because he’s been in the cafe every day of your shift for a year, and his presence is comforting and familiar and reassuring. You miss him because you think maybe you were in love with him.
“One grande cappuccino, please.” Ordering is that same grumpy woman from the day you zoned out because you were staring at Jungwon.
Jungwon…
“Of course,” you start to pour cappuccino roast into the cup, and it isn’t until you’re putting the lid on that you realize you put frappuccino roast into the cup instead, and what you’ve actually made is a frappuccino. “Shit,” you mutter, placing the cup on the counter so you can make the right order, when you hear the door open and then shut and people yelling and you look up and it’s Jungwon, walking into the cafe with sunglasses on, but you can still tell it’s him. And he smiles at you and you melt.
“Yang Jungwon!” you hear, and then there are a lot more “Yang Jungwon!”s and “Oh my god, can I get your autograph?” and “I love your book so much!” and he’s in a crowd of people and you lose his eyes.
You stare at the frappuccino cup, and the Sharpie in your hand, and you turn it so you can write your number on it.
The crowd clears and he takes his coffee cup, leaving a tip with a smiley face on a sticky note. You accidentally brush it off the counter, and it flips over to reveal a note.
i missed you
-your favorite frappuccino addict

Of butterflies and roses
Tumblr media
Summary: Drew hadn't fallen for May first; he been struck, curious about this doe-eyed girl in a bandana — distracted, fumbling, so very nervous —and her Beautifly. Drew liked to pay attention to people, how they got to who they were. It helped him in contests, to weed out who would be the real competition. Drew saw May playing with her little frisbees and thought, “She wouldn’t make it.
But now — now, Drew leaned forward and stared as May stumbled onstage and proceeding to blindside the audience with her plastic frisbees; with five Stringshots, a Gust, and one beautiful Silverwind.
A small smile made its way onto his face.
“Huh, what do you know?” Drew said to himself. “That wasn’t too bad at all.”
***
Or: a love story about surprises and realization
***
When Drew first sees May playing on the beach with her plastic pink frisbees he thought she was a joke.
Contests were a serious thing and they weren’t for the faint of heart. Drew has seen many bright-eyed amateurs bounce on stage to perform their shallow appeals before running off in tears when they lost. Drew knows this girl will be no different.
Because her idea of an appeal was pathetic and lame. Her performance lacked flair and finesse, and was much too shallow. She had no style, baseless confidence, and her naïveté was going to get her as far as her performance will.
Beautifly sends a Gust at the frisbees, and the girl daintily catches two of them on a spin as her friends cheer.
Drew watches in amusement as the third sails right over her head and catches it.
***
The girl passes the appeal round and is matched up with Drew right off the bat.
After their first meeting, she is determined to beat him and win the contest, and Drew scoffs at the fairy tale. He has more experience than she could ever hope for under his belt, and he can’t wait to beat her.
In the end, he leaves her in tears on the stage. She’s slumped to the ground by her Beautifly, her lips pressed into a wobbly line as tears glass her eyes. Drew gets a sudden sense of deja vu as he stares at her; he’s reminded of his first loss — his very first loss against Solidad. He remembers the feeling of defeat and devastation and turns away.
At least in his first contest he made it into the finals. With her, it seems like she barely trained for the battle round at all. (He is a little bit disappointed — he was hoping she would put up as much of a fight as she did their first battle.)
With this loss, Drew would see what type of person May would be.
Would she give up like many others have when they faced him, or would she stand up and try again?
***
Drew takes his loss against Robert hard, but moves on by training harder and winning another contest. He tells Solidad about him in one of their weekly calls, but carefully leaves the girl he’s met out of it. He still hasn’t decided on what type of trainer she is, and there will be no point in telling Solidad about her if she never shows her face again after defeat.
He spends his time training Roselia and Trapinch, searching for a new partner for his team, and winning himself another ribbon before heading to Fallarbor Town for a contest. He’s heard the competition is going to be steep.
Occasionally, he thinks of the girl in the bandana and her Beautifly, but it’s a thin, fleeting thought he easily dismisses in his busy days.
***
When Drew sees her training in Fallarbor Town, he feels something startling and surprising in him. His eyes are immediately drawn to her and he can’t help but make his way over to her to tease her about her botched up combinations — (because really, how can a coordinator not know about combinations?)
Based on their first meeting, May doesn’t like Drew. He’s arrogant and criticizes her and offers nothing good to say about her combinations. Drew shows off his newly acquired ribbons and tells her she has no shot of winning a competition this steep.
He walks away, mouth uncurling into a grin and hopes the fire he’s sparked in May will be enough to make this contest a memorable one.
***
It's Drew who loses in the Fallarbor Contest, and normally he would be upset about that if it weren’t for the fact of who won.
May won the Fallarbor Contest, and with nothing but her own skill and talent. She took the same combinations he made fun of and turned them into something elegant and powerful. She and Beautifly beat Grace and won the ribbon — her very first ribbon — and May’s never looked more alive and in sync with her Pokémon.
Drew feels reluctant admiration, pride, and (strangely) joy press into his gut and leave a tingling sensation throughout his body.
May finally did it; and although Drew still thinks that she wouldn’t have been able to beat him if they were paired up in the first round, her fight against Grace almost deserves a congratulations.
***
It was Roselia’s idea to keep giving May roses, and Drew went along with it. He doesn’t know why exactly, but Roselia is very intuitive and reminds him of Solidad, who is spending her off-season in Kanto training.
He feels like the roses are falling into some sort of routine of theirs, and strangely enough, Drew likes it enough to not want to think about what it means.
“I suppose this rose is for Beautifly, right?” May spins the flower between her fingers and teasingly asks. Her smile is light and playful and Drew feels his stomach suddenly knot in on itself at the sight. He’s not quite sure what to think of that.
“Yeah, something like that.” He keeps his response vague and puzzling before turning away before she realizes that the rose is just as much for her as it is her Pokémon.
***
Drew starts to talk about her to Solidad at around the second contest she wins. That’s two times May has defeated somebody who has beaten Drew, and he is fascinated. He talks to Solidad about their first meeting, how she totally blindsided him with the sudden Silverwind in their first battle. He talks about the first contest she won, the Pokémon she used, and is completely, totally, utterly unaware of the knowing look Solidad has in her blue eyes.
“Looks like you have yourself a rival, Drew,” she interrupts with a grin.
Drew scoffs. How can May ever be his rival?
***
It’s a while before he sees May again, but almost against his will he keeps his ear against the ground for her. He hears she wins the Lilycove Contest and the Purika Contest — after a bit of difficulty, apparently — but hasn't heard anything else.
It’s six weeks until the Pokémon Grand Festival and Drew is just out training his Masquerain when he hears someone call his name. He turns around to see May and her friends waving at him so he makes his way down the cliff to them.
May shows off her four ribbons and informs him that she’ll be entering the Pacifidlog Contest with the same happy-go-lucky smile and bright blue eyes. And because Drew doesn’t not like how she looks at him and he doesn’t like how he doesn’t like it, he makes fun of her enough to challenge him to a battle. It doesn’t get far before a trio calling themselves Team Rocket burst from the ocean and proceed to vacuum them into a giant mechanical Magikarp before exploding.
This is what he gets for spending time with May, Drew thinks as he stares out at the foggy ocean. He and May had woken up on the beach alone, together, surrounded by wreckage and with no idea where the others were. Thankfully, Roderick comes and saves them from their incessant bickering, and they set off to find May’s friends.
Admittedly, Drew is a bit excited to have landed on Mirage Island of all places. Few people have managed to set foot on the land, and it was crawling with liechi berries. That’s why when Drew finally spotted them so close to the cliff, he wasn’t as careful as he could've been.
The earth gives out beneath their feet and as they’re falling the only thought Drew has in his mind is that he’s probably going to die. May grabs onto Bellsprout’s vine, and Drew can tell as she grasps his hand that it's not going to save them.
May’s grip slips and they both hit the water, hands still firmly locked with each other. The current rips them apart and Drew desperately surges to the surface, gasping for air.
“May!” He calls, using whatever air he has left in his lungs. The water is stinging his eyes and roaring in his ears, but he’s still desperately searching for the brown-haired coordinator.
He spots her up ahead, choking on the spray of water and being submerged again and again before Drew swims forward and grabs her arm. Her blue eyes find his green ones, and they’re big and wide and scared as she fights against the current. They struggle to stay above water, Drew trying to support May as much as he can before they hear Roderick’s yell above the buffeting waves: “There’s a waterfall dead ahead!”
Fear freezes his veins. If they weren’t going to die, then they certainly would now. There isn’t any time to think straight before it’s on them, but May tightens her grip on Drew as panic seizes them both and Drew clutches her wrist as hard as he can before they go over.
They slam against the bottom, the impact sweeping them apart before Drew falls unconscious.
When he wakes up it’s nighttime, but the first thing he sees is May’s worried face and big blue eyes. She’s crouched over him, and when he opens his eyes her face breaks out into a big, relieved smile. Drew doesn’t know what happened or where he is, but he does know his heart is doing acrobatics in his chest right now and he feels dizzy with the knowledge that May probably saved his life before the Wynaut did.
The Wynaut are nice and thoughtful for wild Pokémon, and with them Drew and May find themselves becoming more at ease from their near-death experience. May releases all her Pokémon and goes to play with the Wynaut while Drew sits to the side and watches with a small smile on his lips.
The May in front of him right now is totally unencumbered and free. Her smile is big and her laugh is bright and for the first time Drew is able to see her in the light that she is a girl, not just a coordinator. This is the first time they are together outside the context of contests, and that means that the girl he is looking at right now is the real May. Normally when they met May would put up a front and talk all big for the sake of their rivalry, but not now. Now, she is completely natural.
Almost against his will, Drew feels a powerful emotion grow inside him as he watches her.
***
May has grown — slowly and steadily, with the help of her friends and Pokémon. Drew sees her start to win contests, learn strategies, her trust in her Pokémon becoming more prominent with every move she calls.
Alongside his admiration, there is something new and exciting that pulse in his veins now, and it makes Drew determined to win. Solidad calls it competition from across the phone line in Pewter City, and Drew actually feels like laughing.
Because, him? Competitive about May? It hasn’t been that long since she was stumbling through coordinating and trying to figure out combinations. But then, he realizes, it has.
May has grown into coordinating, training her partners and catching new Pokémon. Drew thinks that she can make it into the Grand Festival, and looking deeper, he thinks that he wants to face her there.
Drew knows that Solidad can see the realization on his face and quickly hangs up before she can tease him.
His Vibrava had evolved into a Flygon a while ago, and Drew has a sudden idea about who he wants him to train for.
***
It’s not a surprise to see her at the Grand Festival, but Drew is never going to admit it. May lights up when she spots him and is quickly running towards him with a bright smile. Her enthusiasm makes him smile and as she snatches his rose almost petulantly, he feels the strange emotion bubble up again.
Unfortunately, Harley shows up and May is instantly swept up with his bravado and false promises. Drew already knew she trusts easily and is unfalteringly kind, but Harley was pushing it and May is totally unaware. She almost blows her chances at competing in the Grand Festival battle rounds.
Frustration bubbles up, and Drew knows it’s unreasonable, but May doesn’t get it. She’s made it all the way here, and she was talented, but she still doesn’t get it. To be a coordinator one had to trust in themselves and their Pokémon, and find their own style to make their own Pokémon’s appeal shine through.
And May didn’t get it.
Fortunately for her, she manages to impress the judges enough to pass the appeal round and win her way through the battle rounds — until she’s matched up with him. They face off against each other in the third round of the Hoenn Grand Festival; and as they stare each other down from across the pitch, Drew recalls their first battle. He hasn’t had a real contest battle with May since then, and although Drew knows how it’ll end he still wants to see how she’ll react.
Drew calls out Roselia and Flygon. May’s never seen his Pokémon before, and when he tells her that he raised his Flygon specifically to battle her he can tell she is both flattered and scared.
Drew makes the first move and the battle is on.
***
In the end, it isn’t Drew’s time as Robert comes out on top in the Grand Festival Finals, but it was a good battle and Drew gave it his all. He learned a lot from battling Robert and was already coming up with combinations for next year.
He impatiently waits his way through the closing ceremonies and as soon as the party starts he disappears to the beach to practice with his Pokémon. They train for about an hour before someone stumbles upon them, and Drew turns when he realizes it’s May.
She’s confused about why he’s still training and Drew is reminded that it is her first season of coordinating. He gives her advice before heading on his way, but can’t help but leave her with one last thing.
“I’m hoping to see you back here next year too, May,” he says. “You were good.”
She stares at him, gaping slightly. (Has he really never complimented her before? It seems like she takes up most of his thoughts to not have.) Her sapphire eyes are wide as the seabreeze tousles her hair. He’s suddenly aware of the waves crashing against the shore and the stars shining in the night sky. Drew can barely hear the sounds of the party drifting towards the beach.
For such an open space, it feels so entirely intimate in the moment. May looks beautiful in the moonlight, and the realization of what that means strikes him.
Drew walks away from her, feeling as though someone once so out of his reach becomes touchable for just a slither of time.
***
Drew goes to Kanto for the next contest season and is surprised to see May already there. She’s still as rose-scented, sun-kissed and vibrant as she was in Hoenn and Drew is unable to withhold the realization that he likes her. He really, really likes her.
The realization follows him throughout Kanto, so he throws himself into contests and combinations to avoid thinking about it altogether. His Pokémon notice, but Roselia is the only one who knows and Drew can sense her disapproval. He ignores it — they’re rivals above all and Drew values that — her — more than his feelings.
Still though, he can’t help but go see her. Drew knew so little about her. He could easily spot her voice out of a crowd, but he wanted to hear her stories. There was still so much to May that he didn't know. Drew never really minded being a mystery to the average person (sharing parts of himself was something he was naturally against), but with May he wanted her to know him.
He wondered if she had similar thoughts about him and if part of her wanted to know more.
Drew gathers his five ribbons and heads to the Grand Festival. He’ll see her there.
***
Drew meets up with Solidad the morning of the Grand Festival.
When they first met, Solidad had beaten him and Roselia in the final round of their first contest and then invited him out to lunch afterwards. Although Drew had his reservations, he still went.
Solidad explained that she had a season of experience over him, and that her battle with him had to be the most grueling one she’d ever faced. She was impressed with his performance and wanted to see him again in another contest.
As they competed together more throughout the season and their respect for each other grew, he started to open up to her more and meet up with her more often. It's only natural that Solidad is now his best friend.
They have run into each other a couple of times in Kanto, and had carefully shared contest information and have appropriately planned out their routes so they didn’t meet up at every contest. Still, Drew had looked forward to the towns where their paths were scheduled to cross.
“So, what did you think of May?” Drew asks a bit too casually as he sips his tea. He’s not really a fan of the taste, but Solidad loves it so he drinks without complaining.
“I like her. She’s really sweet and friendly. The total opposite of you,” she says with a teasing smirk.
“Uh huh, sure,” Drew rolls his eyes. “Do I even want to know what you two said about me?”
Solidad’s eyes twinkle. “That’s between girls only. Whatever May says is completely on her own volition.”
“Great. She’s definitely going to rub something in my face now.” Drew takes another sip of tea and struggles to not make a face. Solidad does the same, watching him with calm blue eyes.
“I’m a bit sad you haven’t introduced me to her earlier though,” she speaks up suddenly. “Seeing how much you talk about her. I can see why you like her.”
Drew chokes on his tea, and for once it wasn’t because of the taste.
Solidad knows. She's probably always known, Drew rationalizes, but the knowing smile the older coordinator wears cements the fact that nevertheless, Solidad knows.
But then again, if Drew had really wanted it to be kept a secret, he wouldn’t have introduced them in the first place. But Solidad was his closest friend and Drew liked May (enough to give her advice, give her roses) and he had wanted the two of them to meet.
“She — uh, I, uh — ” Drew stammers. He feels uncharacteristically embarrassed and it throws him off his game. “I — ”
“It’s okay, Drew.” Solidad thankfully cuts him off. “You don’t have to explain yourself. I’m actually glad you’ve found someone like May. She’s good for you.” Drew’s face burns and Solidad’s face softens as she observes his flustered reaction. “Just … don’t let your feelings get in the way of your performance, okay?”
Drew scoffs at the thought. “Don’t worry, I won’t,” he reassures her.
He may like her, but they're still rivals.
***
It’s a surprise when he sees Ash and Brock come to talk to him instead of Solidad, but figures she’s probably having a talk with May after he snapped at her.
Guilt twists in his chest as he thinks of her hurt expression before he ignores it and turns to face the sunset. Don’t let your feelings get in the way of your performance, Solidad had said. Drew internally scoffed. She should have said, “Don’t let her performance get in the way of your feelings.”
Seeing her perform with her Munchlax … it shook him. For so long, May had always been the one behind him, chasing after him. It didn’t hit him until today that … she can pass him. She can beat him.
She had changed; she was a threat. He had changed; he was no longer untouchable.
And that scared him.
“Look, I said it was on my mind, alright?” Drew snaps.
“I know that Drew,” Ash clambors down to join him. Pikachu hops down his shoulder.
“Solidad’s having a little talk with May right now. I think it would be a good idea to do the same thing,” Brock says. Drew hmphs.
“You know …” Ash breaks the silence, rubbing Pikachu’s head. “Watching you out there earlier made me think about all the rivals I’ve faced in battle over the years. I never talked to them about how they trained or anything.” Ash turns to face him. “We deal with that on the battlefield.”
Drew can’t help but stare, shocked at the comparison. It's no secret that a lot of competitive battlers don't take coordinators seriously. They saw it as more of a glorified beauty contest than showing off the strength of the Pokémon with appeal. Not to mention, coordinating was more seen as a feminine form of battling, with its emphasis on beauty and combinations.
For a while, Drew thought Ash was one of those battlers — that’s why he challenged him to a battle in Fallarbor Town. But no, Ash is here drawing comparisons from his battling to relate to coordinating. To him and May.
Ash and Brock are here, telling him in their own way that they understood him. That they took his side.
Drew relaxed. “I hear ya,” he chuckles. “We’re rivals, May and I.”
Somehow, that seems to sum up everything and nothing at all.
***
It’s the Kanto Grand Festival at the Indigo Plateau, and it's Drew up against May in the quarterfinals. He walks onto the stage and hears the cheers so loud it makes his ears ring. The atmosphere of the stadium is electric, and Drew keeps his head straight.
His eyes wander across the field to May and he sees the determined glint in her eyes that Drew knows is reflected in her own. Two years, two regions, and two talented coordinators.
They’ve been ready for this their whole lives.
***
In the end, it’s only one of them who can win, and after a long, grueling battle, the winner is decided.
The screams and cheers from the stadium are overwhelming so Drew closes his eyes and takes a breath, steadying himself.
The battle was incredible. May was incredible.
She is still standing there, staring up at the scoreboard in disbelief and unable to believe what it reads. She’s surprised, shaky from the battle, but happy-ecstatic and Drew is proud to have lost to her. It's been two years since they met, since he first saw her on the beach of Slateport City with her plastic pink frisbees, and since then she’s been surprising him ever since. They’ve both changed since they first met; the final battle an accumulation of everything they learned on their journey.
Absol slowly makes his way to him, head already bowed in defeat. His Pokémon took his losses harder than Drew did, but this time the trainer wasn’t feeling bad about this one at all.
Absol looks up in surprise when Drew reaches forward and rubs his head. “Thank you, you fought hard. You're the best, Absol.” Absol lights up at the praise, gratefully pressing his head into his hand.
Drew turns to notice May’s gaze on him, questioning and uncertain. She’s worried about how he’ll take the loss against her, and suddenly the feelings Drew has tried to keep from fully consuming his heart come forth.
It’s because she surprises him. She’s surprised him from the very beginning — from the first time they met, the first time they ever competed, the first time he truly saw her — and she kept on surprising him, whether it be her skill or her passion or her love towards people and Pokémon. Drew hadn’t fallen in love with May; he was struck, stunned by the care and awe he has for her. She completely blindsided him and turned his world upside-down. He never would have imagined that the girl he had met on the beach would turn into one of his greatest rivals.
Drew’s eyes soften, mouth pulling into gentle smile as he nods. It’s okay. He lost, but it was to May and he is okay with that because she more than deserves her victory. May beams at his approval, throwing her arm around Combusken in celebration.
Drew watches for a moment longer before closing his eyes and turning away, smiling.
***
Drew doesn't stick around after the festival. His bags are packed and he’s headed out. Drew has no new destination in mind, so he just travels around Kanto, exploring the parts he didn’t get to see before. He spends two months just wandering, training and discovering himself. His mind is on May, and coordinating, and on where to head next for the next Grand Festival.
Drew finds a beautiful lake — a glittering expanse of blue in front of him — with plenty of open space to practice some tricky appeals he has been working on. He calls out Roselia and Masquerain and they work on some doubles appeals for around an hour before Drew gives them a rest. Roselia wanders along the shoreline, looking happy and relaxed while Masquerain flutters around the lake.
Suddenly, to his surprise, Roselia runs towards her trainer, exclaiming happily. Drew blinks, alarmed, before he hears a familiar voice speak up behind him.
“Hey, Drew!”
Drew turns to see Solidad approaching with Slowbro, a smile on her face.
"What are you doing here?" Drew asks before he can stop himself.
Solidad laughs. "Jeez, it's nice to see you too."
Drew smirks and waves his hand at her. "You know what I meant."
"Well, am I not allowed to want to see you?” Solidad asks gently. “You practically ran away from the afterparty of the Grand Festival, and I’ve barely heard from you.” She settles on the grass right next to him as her Pokémon goes to greet his.
Drew runs a hand through his hair and winces. “Sorry. I've been busy.”
Solidad shakes her head. “Typical of you, isn't it? But don't you think you’ve trained enough?”
Drew shrugs and says nothing; she knows what his answer is. They both watch as Roselia comes forward and Solidad rubs her head. “So, have you decided on where to go from here?”
“I think I’ll head to the Johto region next.” Drew says. “What will you do?”
“Johto too, I think.” Solidad turns to meet his gaze. “Just because I became a Top Coordinator doesn’t mean I want to stop. I want to keep coordinating, traveling, and winning. I want to be a master coordinator and be accepted into the Ribbon’s Syndicate.”
Drew smirked and closed his eyes. “Yeah, you’re not the only one, you know.”
The Ribbon Syndicate was a big ordeal for coordinators alike. It was a private, special organization that only coordinators with a legendary status could call their home. Members would finally earn that sought after "Master" status and finally become a part of the world's elite, setting an example for all young coordinators alike.
Solidad smiles. It’s quiet for a while, both of them watching their Pokémon get along before she speaks. “I gave her your rose, you know. She caught you as you were leaving, right?”
Drew tenses, before he relaxes. “Yeah. Thanks for giving it to her. I … couldn’t give her that one in person.” It feels entirely too honest than he meant it to be, so he avoids Solidad’s eyes as she studies him.
When Drew had first given roses to May, it was a mocking. The flowers were filled with taunts about how her Pokémon were carrying her to victory. Then Drew had started to notice May, and his roses became fleeting — everyone knows what red roses meant. How could Drew give out roses when he didn’t even know who he was really giving them to?
But now this one was different. After everything — their fight, their battle, the final leg of their journeys — the rose held a different meaning now. It is a confession of his affection, respect, and awe for her.
It was the only genuine rose.
And they both knew it.
“Here,” Solidad holds out a shrunken Pokéball and Drew takes it. He glances down at it and blinks.
“This is Butterfree’s Pokéball,” he says, surprised. “Why are you giving this to me?”
“Because you need it,” she says simply. “You’ve done enough reflecting, Drew. You need to get out of your head, and the best way to do that is with a new partner. He’s yours now.” She stands up as Slowbro wanders towards her and returns him.
“Where are you going?” Drew is still reeling.
“To Johto,” Solidad raises a brow as if to say ‘obviously’. “And you’re going to Fennel Valley.”
“What’s in Fennel Valley?” Drew is scared to ask.
“You’ll see.” Solidad smiles.
***
Drew does end up making his way to Fennel Valley and runs into May. As soon as he sees her, he understands why Solidad sent him here instead of going to the Johto region first.
Drew feels like he’s seeing himself a week ago. May is lost, out of sync, and confused. It’s a mental thing he’s seen in himself and other coordinators stuck in a rut, and Drew tries to pull her out of it.
He challenges her to a battle, his heart beating faster when he sees the fire relight in May’s eyes.
They’re talking outside later — May sitting beyond the fence while he leans against it — and Drew tells May he’s going to Johto. He studies her reaction, trying to see how she’s feeling, and watches her eyes lower as she leans against the fence with him. “It’s pretty there, right now,” she says.
Drew gazes at her. She’s looking at the sunset, how the pinks, reds, and golds reflect off the mountains. The sprawling region in front of them looks beautiful, but Drew can’t seem to take his eyes off May. There’s no moonlight this time — May’s dripping with the sunset glow, chestnut hair waving in the wind, azure eyes deep and Drew feels like his heart is going to crawl out of his chest looking at her.
He really, really loves her.
Harley interrupts, as he always does, and soon he and Drew have to leave. May calls out goodbyes behind him as he walks away, and Drew raises a hand in return.
Life insists on — they’re rivals, May and him. They will always come together. As frequently as roses bloom, they will meet each other, again and again.

Wouldn't it make sense that Tsukasa is self taught in acting because in the first place he has no intention of learning to become a good actor to begin with?
I mean, Tsukasa's true feelings that makes the wonderland sekai is that he wants to make everyone smile with his shows. And it does. Tsukasa's performance on the past makes his friends and family smile.
Tumblr media
(Translation from Project sekai in English in youtube)
So it could be said that it's enough for him. He doesn't have the need to become a better actor since his main goal of doing shows is to make people smile.
He also likes to think he is the best star (it gives me Mr. Showtime deja vu when typing that) even though he never when to an acting class. Toya mention in an area conversation that he acts high and mighty to make Saki smile in the past but now it's a part of his personality.
Tumblr media
So since Tsukasa has the narcissism it could also be a reason why he never went to any acting classes. He already thinks that he's the best.
But also it needs to be noted that Tsukasa has always been a perfectionist even though he's prideful. So before, Tsukasa is serious about making shows. He just doesn't see enough on what it takes to be the star he wants to be.
It's the Pop In My Heart event that gives Tsukasa a new perspective (aka he got humbled). The acting he saw in Riley's theme park is the introductory of Tsukasa's character arc about wanting to improve his acting. It's the time where he realize he still has a long way to go to be the star that he wants to be.
Tumblr media
(Translation from Arvon Oven on youtube)
So that's why after that he wants to grow. Such have asking Rui to let him act as a character that is complete opposite of him, learning to act from the ark land members and got disappointed when the publicity performance has come to an end. It's also why he went to the actors workshop.
He wants to improve his acting and his mindset now is more realistic than his mindset before seeing the show at Riley's theme park.

Hi, the plagiarism case anon here. A few things: There can be no case for the "imgonnagetyouback" song by TS made by Olivia's team. Having the same or similar name between songs is not illegal. The songs (after hearing them both back to back) do not sound alike. There is nothing here.
Josh Farro left Paramore in 2010, but he is a co-writer with Hayley on Misery Business so if he feels that someone ripped off his intellectual property, he has grounds to request credits. Worth noting, he is a piece of shit. Hayley (and the rest of the band) were unaware of this because she did not seek legal action, HE did. That's why she was shocked when she got the credits.
I'm not sure if you're an Olivia Rodrigo fan (because I'm not) but they're not profiting off her, it looks like Josh Farro made a stupid case and Olivia's team was even stupider for getting scared of it and gave away credits without doing their due diligence. That's why in 2022 Olivia got new management (Aleen Keshishan/Lighthouse Management), to protect her assets more.
The reason why Farro (I'm not sure why you included Swift - she can't drop anything she didn't start, even though I don't like Eco-terrorist Barbie here I don't think she "started" anything) is because he saw he could get away with it. Swift, Williams, Antonoff, and St. Vincent probably just woke up and saw that their names were added underneath "Good 4 u" and "Deja vu" and I'm sure the money started to roll in shortly after. (I believe it was a 25% split for Farro/Williams and Swift also got 25%, Antonoff 20%, and St. Vincent 5%.) I believe Olivia still works with St. Vincent {she was credited in guts) which I find very interesting.
Olivia also tried to sue Korean singer Choi Yena and take her song down. I mean, the name of the song was bad ("Hate Rodrigo"), but the whole entire song was essentially praising her. She also has a lot of compelling plagiarism accusations from her dance routines to her merch designs. And Olivia's fans still send death threats to those two kids and she has said that she doesn't care (like actually, in an interview about the hate other people receive from her songs is "none of her concern" [Source: Interview on YouTube: IHeartRadioCA] so idk. I can tell she used to idolize TS. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree or whatever.
Hello, wow this is so much information, Thanks for sharing!
Honestly, I'm not surprised about Josh Farro being the one to start all the shit. He's been a jerk and will remain an asshole forever.
However, I really don't believe that Swift has no ability to just say "pass." That makes zero sense. It's not like Farro or anyone else can sue on behalf of Taylor Swift. Besides, if Olivia's team gave away credits, then the ones benefiting from the credits are now profiting off of her. Obviously, they are getting money from this situation.
Also, I'm not a huge fan of Rodrigo. So, I'm not going to waste time defending her for her own lawsuits or weird comments. I simply don't know much about it. This whole story caught my interest because it involves Taylor Swift.
I like that Olivia is at least more creative than Swift with her music. She also doesn't try so hard to make it seem more serious. It's just pop-music not pretending to be poetry. I would hope that eventually Olivia issues some type of anti-bullying statement, though. If she has not already done so.

hi fxiry, i’m curious about how you started getting into tarot? do you have any tips for learning and getting better at reading the cards? also what are some of your favorite decks that you own? (hope you don’t mind me asking so many questions hehe ☆彡)
i feel honored to be asked about this one hhh so this is going to be a lengthy one (๑•̀ᴗ-) though i wouldn't be able to cover all of it !
Tumblr media
ෆ⸒⸒ how it all started
before tarot , i started with the chinese zodiac back when i was in my elementary days (can't remember the specific age TT) because , in my country , we celebrate the lunar new year annually. during those times there would be a couple of books or magazines that discuss about the fortune of a person's animal sign that is based on his / her birth year.
i was a curious kid back then so whilst i was at my grandparents' house i would scan through my grandfather's desk drawer and that's when i discovered this booklet that talks about the chinese zodiac. it got me hooked so i decided to use the booklet as a way to discuss my grandparents' fortune with them.
when i went home , i decided to scan through (i'm so nosy omg-) my mother's cabinet in search of magazines that contain topics about the chinese zodiac. after a while , i use the knowledge that i gathered from reading to discuss fortunes , facts , etc. with my parents , my aunts , my cousins-- or simply the entire household lmao 😆
it wasn't enough for me because i had this craving within me to discover more so for the following months i decided to look up the internet about it. this is where i started to discover astrology. i would jump into websites and i remembered this particular section wherein you get to do a compatible test with someone.
just like what every child does , i decided to enter me and my crush's birth year. besides that , i would try to find out about my friends' birthdays to know more about them and such. following months had passed , i'm starting to feel bored and the craving doesn't stop. so whilst searching on the internet that's when i find a tarot website that generates free readings.
i got hooked on it so i would engage the website and ask bizarre questions if my crush likes me or what 😭💀 like girl stop it already-- over time i became serious with my studies so i didn't pay attention to any forms of divination , not until high school.
but before that , i do remember my mother wanting to bring us with her to visit this fortune teller , she knows this old lady personally. i was young so my memories were fuzzy. all i could recall is her wearing dangled gold pieces of jewelry , a blue (?) rounded table , and a rider-waite smith deck.
she was a really good fortune teller because she predicted all the things that were going to happen to my relatives , problems within the family , etc. (i don't want to disclose the details for privacy reasons).
for this reason , i became aware of the existence of tarot but i didn't pay any attention to it because i was a child.

ෆ⸒⸒ the turning point
when i was in 6th grade (?) , i'm starting to get vivid dreams about something that would end up happening irl. the example of it is having an image of a girl and how it didn't leave my mind because i had this feeling that there's something "important" about that girl. one year has passed , and i felt tingles from my skin when i met the exact same girl in my dreams who became my classmate and my high school friend.
i would even experience the feeling of deja vu , making me question about the way this world works. again , i kept on ignoring it because i tend to be someone who has a practical approach. yet , it seems that the universe or a some type of higher being really wants me to awaken this "ability" that i have.
so boom ! i met some random guy and how i've been getting tons of synchronicities and signs from him 😀 it's like we have this telepathic connection 'cause he's experiencing it too. as always: didn't work > me cried and acted dramatic > 1 year later , me over 🙂‍↔️
i did my research and that's when i stumbled on the "twin flame" concept though i don't seem to buy the whole idea of it :/ the good news ? that was my icebreaker to buy a tarot deck as i get to learn more about sprituality and divination.
what's worse is how i've been getting this eerie feeling that someone in my family is going to pass away. i didn't want to tell to my mother because she'll think that i'm paranoid. months later , my aunt was the one who would leave us too soon.
when i decided to tell my mother about it , she didn't believe me at first but suddenly she decided to tell me about my other aunt who used to be a tarot reader. she thinks that it runs in the family for someone to have this "ability" and how we share some similarities.
Tumblr media
ෆ⸒⸒ my abilities
that's how i realized that i may be a "psychic" though i don't want to label myself as one because i'm not confident with my abilities.
all i could say is:
i get information or words / phrases / sentences in my mind each time i do a reading for someone.
i get vivid dreams that would manifest itself.
i can feel the energy and every time i'm outside i can immediately distinguish a person's personality based on what they're showing me. a lie detector test in simple words and how my intuition never fails me , which made me hard to trust people these days.
i would witness a supernatural occurrence. an example would be inside the house which usually happens at midnight. the lights in the living room would blink uncontrollably.
i would hear a "ringing" sound or even faint voices in my ear and how the sound that surrounds me became quiet , hinting that there was an energy of something within the house.
recently , this "energy" made it clear that they were here by trying to make this loud scratching + banging sound from a door across the hallway. i checked to see but there was no one there and it's raining very hard outside so it was impossible.
few days before that: when i was about to sleep , i heard a gliding thud from the window beside me. still , no sight of the person doing it and the window isn't close to a tree , don't own any domestic animals , or anything that can produce that kind of sound.
i would also see a flying orb-like light coming from outside whilst i'm studying. that was few months ago i believe..
there's more but i don't want to turn this post into horror or scary-related TT

ෆ⸒⸒ tips for those starting with tarot [ incomplete guide ]
the following sections doesn't include the use of intuition and more ! only the basics.
as cliche as it may sound , you need to understand and apply the meanings of the cards first. you can start practicing by performing a reading to your family or friends. mistakes are made along the way and you shouldn't feel discouraged by it. try to enjoy the process of learning ^^ and take those mistakes as a lesson 'cause i've been there too lmao.
start with a one-card spread first ! try not to jump on doing three-cards , six-cards , celtic cross , or any tarot spreads that are deemed as complicated for you. i made this mistake and how it made me feel so confused and lost 。°(°.◜ᯅ◝°)°。 through this you get the idea of what the card is all about.
don't do reversals just yet ! take note that a tarot deck contains 78 cards: major arcana , minor arcana , and the court cards. which means you need to be familiar with 78 meanings and that's a lot for a beginner. so take this one as you're starting point. once you're confident about knowing the upright meanings , that's when you start incorporating the reversals ^^
Tumblr media
ෆ⸒⸒ read the spread like a storybook
let's say that you've already mastered all of the list i mentioned above and you want to add more cards to make an in-depth reading. you decided to do a three-card spread and suddenly , you encountered a problem wherein you couldn't seem to connect the three cards' interpretation due to their different meanings and how it doesn't seem to fit the said question.
01 understanding the question that is being asked.
try to identify if the question is related to love , career , a person , etc. that way you get a better idea as to what this reading is going to be all about. the question needs to be specific ! having a broad question is hard to discern.
example : "who is my future spouse ?" ✘
alternative : "what is my future spouse's personality ?" ✓
02 cut the cards meaning into pieces
try to write down notes about the meanings or words of the three cards that corresponds to it.
labyrinthos interpretation:
king of cups = wise, diplomatic, balance between head and heart, devoted, advisor, counsellor
the world = completion, achievement, fulfilment, sense of belonging, wholeness, harmony
nine of cups rx = unhappiness, lack of fulfilment, disappointment, underachievement, arrogance, snobbery
03 connect the meanings , reading from left to right
after you list down the meanings / words , this is when you're going to apply those to a context. you should start from left to right , just like how a storybook is being read.
example :
the personality of your future spouse is someone who knows how to regulate their emotions well and is in touch with their feelings. you could always rely on them in times of stressful situations because your future spouse would do the means to reassure and comfort you , letting you know that you're being understood by them. they may also have achieved greater heights in their life such as being able to get a proper education , getting what they want , and a stable career. even so , it seems that something is missing from your future spouse. no matter how many times they've received the sweetest and most memorable moments in their life , there's a void that's coming from within. perhaps the missing piece that they're longing for could be you , the one who can make them feel complete or whole again.

ෆ⸒⸒ my fave tarot decks at the moment
01 rider-waite smith tarot : i find it funny how i used to not like the imagery of the cards due to how "old-fashioned" the drawings were. i bought a knock-off version of it for practice reasons. as i tried to bond with this deck i ended up finding myself in tune with the readings i made. the images of the cards are easy to interpret ! hopefully , i get to purchase the authentic version of it. i get to do riffle shuffling with this deck too ^_^
02 tarot of the divine : every beginner tarot reader's first love ! 😆 this was my first deck and has been with me through thick and thin lol (the appearance says otherwise). due to the bond i had with this deck , its answers became very straightforward ! what i love about this deck is the cardstock quality. very easy to shuffle because of how smooth it glides even though it leans on the thicker side ;; i also love seeing the tales of each country.
03 the light seer's tarot : what i love about this deck is the diversity of each card ! the imagery is modernized , making it easy to feel relatable with the deck and how you get to easily interpret the meaning of every card. the guidebook is thick-yet-informative lol. i also find it easy to shuffle the cards with my hands. the deck is a lil bit thicker so it may be hard to perform a riffle shuffle ʕ •̥ ˕ ก ʔ
04 ethereal visions illuminated tarot deck : the good thing about this deck is even though it is a bit bigger than the standard rider-waite smith size , its cards are thin which makes it easier for me to shuffle. i love how soft , earthy , and pastel-yet-creamy (?) the cards and the drawings were made. it reminded me of one of those greek paintings and statues for sure. it comes with two different cards and you can find its meanings from the guidebook itself.

The sound of your alarm blaring beside your bed caused you to jump inside of your bed. Your eyes peeled open almost instantly, revealing the sun pouring its rays into your bedroom.
It was Monday, and, today, you finally decided to return to school.
After a lot of time on your own, you felt as if it was time for you to get back to your studies. You had been gone for way too long, and you felt like you were at a point mentally to come back for your classes. Most of your professors had been understanding, and they kept you in their classes despite the rules of attendance. You were extremely grateful for them, and they wished you the best of luck. You spent practically all of your Saturday night turning in homework and other assignments that needed to be completed. It took a while, but you eventually finished it all before midnight.
You honestly wanted to put everything behind you. The situation made you upset, but you couldn’t exactly sit around forever. You had to move on, and you weren’t going to let this destroy you anymore.
Having Konan and Kakashi by your side was a huge help as well. If you didn’t have their help, you wouldn’t know where you’d be. Their support really helped you get out of that dark headspace you spent so much time trying to delete. You honestly needed to thank them more for what they did, because it really meant the world to you that they stood by your side through all of it. It was a lot, but you were starting to feel more comfortable with yourself.
Sitting up in your bed, you reached forward to shut your alarm off. You wanted to make yourself look decent today. You had a basic outfit planned out, but you wanted to add some makeup to that. Feeling extra wasn’t a bad thing anyway. Konan always said looking extra was the best part of anyone's day.
You pulled the covers off of your body. You then placed your feet onto the floor. It had been a long time since you had a morning like this. It honestly gave you some serious deja vu, and you didn’t think you would ever go to class again. Here you were now, finally going to head back to your usual routine. You couldn’t lie and say that you didn’t miss going onto your campus every single day, but you certainly didn’t miss getting new assignments every damn day.
You stretched out your muscles, feeling the relief from sleeping. You rose out of your bed so you could meet Konan who was already awake. She had an early class on Monday, so you knew she was somewhere inside of the apartment. You’d be sad if she fell asleep or something, because she had no clue you were heading back that day.
You placed your hand on the doorknob. You then twisted it so you could pull the door open. The apartment sounded pretty quiet, so it made you wonder if she was home yet. She usually came back to wake you up before everything went down, but those days came to a halt after you refused to go to class.
Stepping out into the hallway, you made your way towards the kitchen. Your thoughts about Konan still being at school were immediately shut down as you saw her sitting at the dining table with her laptop open. She seemed to be typing something on it, and she must have not noticed you. It was pretty much obvious since her AirPods were in, and music was blasting through them. You swore to God that one day she’d go deaf from how loud her music could be.
You walked into the kitchen and stood directly in front of her. Konan noticed your shadow instantly, so she went to pause the music playing in her ears. She was honestly kind of shocked to see you standing there so nonchalantly, and especially that early in the morning.
“What’s up?” she removed one of her earbuds from her ears so she could hear you, “Is everything okay? Did I wake you by accident?”
A chuckle came from your lips at her concern. You honestly couldn’t blame her for being surprised that you were awake right now. The last time you were up this early was weeks ago. Hell, you were even shocked that you were standing before her right now. Though, it was kind of entertaining to watch.
You plopped down in the chair in front of her. “No, I actually wanted to let you know that I’m coming to class today,” you looked down at the table beneath you as you spoke to her.
Her honey-colored eyes widened once the news processed in her head. She never would have imagined you’d actually come back this soon. Konan didn’t mind you taking time for yourself, but she knew school meant a lot to you. You wanted to be a doctor, and it wasn’t like you could mess around all the time and cut class. However, she couldn’t get angry with you over missing a couple of weeks. She knew you needed time to fix yourself, and school would cause you more issues than you needed to have.
She was excited to see you feeling better, because, to be frank, you deserved happiness more than anybody else.
Konan couldn’t even look Obito in the eyes once she discovered what he had done to you. She was beyond angry with him, and seeing him on campus made it worse. She couldn’t wrap her head around on how he ghosted you like you were nothing to him. What made her blood boil was the fact that he walked around as if he didn’t do a single thing to you, while you suffered alone and took the brunt force of his actions.
Konan wished the worst for him, and she did not regret saying that.
Standing up, she came around to give you a tight hug. Her chest was practically shoved against your face. “I’m so proud of you, my best friend,” she rocked her body around as she squeezed the life out of your head, “I really am.. you don’t even know how much I love you,”
You reached upward to place your hand on her arm. A warm smile crept onto your features at her words. You didn’t know where you’d be if Konan wasn’t by your side. You never thought that you’d ever get a best friend as amazing as her. She truly was the most amazing soul you had ever met.
“Thank you, Konan, I love you too..” you leaned your head against her chest, hearing the faint sound of her heart beating within her ribcage.
She kissed the top of your head and stepped backwards so she could look at you. “Well, what are you waiting for?! Let’s get you ready! We need to show all of those students that you are the sexiest bitch on campus!” she started talking with her hands which made you giggle. Konan had the funniest habits sometimes.
You turned your body to face her. “Fine! I have class soon anyway, so let me go and get ready,” you stood up, “And I am not the sexiest bitch on campus, you are!”
Konan whipped her head around to look towards you. She started laughing, and so did you. Seeing you happy made her heart swell. There hadn’t been a moment like this between the two of you in such a long time. It felt sweet, and almost nostalgic in a way. Knowing that your laughter and your smiles weren’t fake made Konan relieved. You were getting through all of this. You had to be the strongest person she knew.
She rolled her eyes, crossing her arms over her chest. “Now you’re really lying! But, girl, you need to hurry your butt up so we can leave!” she walked towards you to place her hands on your shoulders.
You shook your head, a few more giggles slipped from your lips as she shook your shoulders as hard as she could. “Okay, okay! Let me get ready then. I already have my outfit and stuff planned, so don’t you worry,” you lifted your hands up defensively.
Konan removed her hands off of your body. She clapped her hands softly with excitement filling her eyes. “Yay! I can’t wait to see it! I’ll be waiting in here for you,” she went towards her chair to sit down. She hadn’t seen you dress up in a long time, and you always looked so amazing whenever you did. Konan would kiss you if she could.
You turned around so you could head to your bedroom. You had exactly one hour before you had to leave for class, so you wanted to take advantage of all of that time. There was euphoria  bursting throughout your entire body. Things were really starting to look up for you, and you couldn’t wait to get back to it.
For once, you couldn’t wait to head back to school.
-
After some time, you finally finished preparing yourself for school. Your outfit wasn’t too crazy or anything, but you were dressed nicely. Your makeup was also done, and you wore some of your favorite jewelry. You almost felt as if you were unrecognizable because of how different you looked compared to before. It wasn’t bad, no, you genuinely liked how you appeared in the mirror compared to before.
You sprayed some of your Marc Jacobs perfume onto your skin. The sweet scent filled your nose, making you feel satisfied with your look. Fixing the last of your outfit, you grabbed your phone to place it in your pocket. All you needed to grab was your backpack which was in the living room where you left it all those weeks ago.
You stepped out of your bedroom. You then decided to walk to the kitchen where Konan was. Your ears picked up on the sound of her playing videos on her phone.
Konan’s attention left her phone almost immediately when she saw you standing in the door frame of the kitchen. A smile formed on her cheeks when her eyes landed on you. She had to admit, you looked like such a beauty like that. There was nobody else that could compare to how beautiful you looked.
“Ah! I love it! You look so amazing, (Y/N)!” she rushed over so she could inspect your outfit a bit more deeper.
You wore a cute baby blue plaid skirt that stopped just above mid-thigh. Your top consisted of a white body-suit that you purchased a while ago from one of the stores near your town. The top of the suit had a plunging neckline, so your breasts could be seen perfectly. It was a long sleeve as well, so your arms were covered up. Konan hadn’t seen you wear that kind of outfit before, so she was definitely digging the new set.
Your jewelry was quite magnificent as well. Around your neck, you wore a silver necklace that had a heart along with it. It had a small diamond in the center, which shined in the lighting. There were also two bracelets around your wrists that were gifted to you by your mother a long time ago. Several charms hung onto the band, and it was a nice add to make your outfit look prettier.
You looked downward at your outfit. “Are you sure? What if it’s too extra?” you were kind of unsure on what you were wearing mainly because you didn’t want weirdos talking about it on campus.
Konan’s hands went to your arms. “Yes, I’m sure! Now stop saying those things about yourself! Extra is better! We need to head to class anyway,” she squeezed you tightly to try and convince you to keep that outfit on. The last thing she’d want is for you to rip the whole thing off and change your mind.
You stood there for a brief couple of seconds wondering if you wanted to change or not, but, ultimately, you decided to stay in your outfit. You weren’t about to spend more time than you needed to find an outfit. It had already taken you enough time to find the one you were currently wearing, so you decided to keep it. Plus, you didn’t really give a shit if people talked or stared. You looked amazing, and their opinions didn’t matter.
“Fine! Let me go grab my backpack and we can leave,” you let out a sigh before turning to head towards the living room. Konan practically bounced off of the damn walls when she heard that you were sticking with your original outfit plan.
Walking into the living area, you spotted your sage green backpack slumped against the couch.
It had been quite some time since you last touched your bag. Your mind vaguely replayed the memory of when you dropped it onto the ground the Friday before Obito came over. So much had changed since that time, and you were shocked at how you had no idea that all of these things would happen to you in such little time. However, you were done dwelling on the past. Obito was gone, and you were ready to move on.
You reached downward, slinging your backpack over your shoulder. In the kitchen, you could briefly hear the sound of Konan’s keys jingling. You couldn’t lie, you were honestly super nervous to head back to your classes. You were caught up in all of your classes, but you didn’t know what your other friends would say.
Most, if not all of your classmates hadn’t seen you in weeks. Hell, you received messages from people you barely spoke to. It was nice, but they would never understand the things you were going through. That was the main reason why you never told them the truth. You always made something up whenever they asked, because you preferred to not relive the tale inside of your head.
However, you were ready to get back to it.
You walked towards the exit of your apartment where Konan was standing. She clicked her phone off once she realized you were there. “Do you have everything?” she nodded her head to the side.
Your brain went through a mental checklist of everything you needed for class. You had pretty much everything inside of your bag, and you could always come back during your free period if you did possibly forget something. Though, you highly doubted that considering the fact that you placed all of your items in your backpack the evening prior.
It felt like you were going to your first day of school or something.
You gave Konan a thumbs up. She smiled softly and turned to open the door to your apartment. The cool air from the hallway brushed along your exposed ankles, causing you to shiver from the chill. The scene before you felt nostalgic again. You hadn’t been outside of your apartment in weeks, and this was the first time you were going to be outside in a long time. Deep down, you knew that the light from the sun would feel great.
You and Konan both stepped out into the corridor. The door behind you closed softly, in which Konan went to lock it with her key. Once she felt the lock click, she turned around to face you. That look was your queue to start heading down the hallway to the main entrance. You could feel deja vu creeping over you again.
“Let’s get off to class, shall we?”
-
Arriving on campus made your stomach do flips. You hadn’t been there in a few weeks, and it honestly felt like you were a stranger to the place.
But, that school before you was like your second home. You loved being there, and you wished that the image of it wasn’t tarnished due to the events you went through. However, Obito wasn’t the person who defined the school. Hell, you probably wouldn’t ever lay your eyes on him ever again. You couldn’t lie and say that Obito didn’t cross your mind on the way to campus. You wondered if you’d see him. What would he do? What would you do?
However, you didn’t have a single thing to say to him. Obito told you all those days ago that he wanted nothing to do with you anymore, and he didn’t want to hear from you again. He ghosted you, and that was a decision he made. You didn’t care anymore, and you were better off without Obito in your life.
You were aware of who you needed in your life, and he wasn’t one of them.
Slamming the door to Konan’s car, you looked at all of the students who were heading to their classes or leaving to go wherever they needed to be. You couldn’t lie to yourself and say you didn’t miss seeing some of them every Monday morning.
The air was dry for once. Despite the temperatures being in the low eighties, it didn’t feel moist or gross outside. You honestly enjoyed that kind of weather, because that meant you weren’t going to sweat your ass off. Though, it was still kind of hot outside from the sun being high in the sky like that. There also wasn’t a single cloud lingering around.
Konan came beside you with her water bottle in her left hand. “Ready?” she raised her eyebrows in curiosity. She was honestly excited to see you up and at it again. She was also aware that your friends were absolutely dying to see you.
Deidara and Sasori were particularly worried after they noticed your sudden absence. They were, however, too nervous to reach out. Despite their easy-approachable personalities, they didn’t want to bother you. They didn’t have a huge idea of what was going on with you, but the two had a pretty good understanding there was a specific person that was involved in that. Neither of them were very happy to hear it.
“Yeah, let’s go,” your eyes traveled to where Konan was standing right by you. She had this small smile on her features that gave you a bit of confidence to move forward.
The both of you proceeded to head towards the main fountain in front of campus. Many of the student body sat around it, talking and laughing amongst their friends. There were others sitting on the grass near the gardens, enjoying the gorgeous weather. It was such a lively campus, and that’s one of the many reasons why you loved going there. The beauty was enough to captivate anyone who toured the place.
As you walked on the concrete sidewalk, you began to wonder what you’d be doing in your classes throughout the day. You had to meet with a couple of your professors to talk about getting caught up on your work. Although that isn’t really a thing at your university, most of them were understanding and they offered their help to make sure you don’t fail.
You were very grateful for them, so you appreciated it a lot.
You and Konan walked inside of the main building. The cool air wrapped around your bodies, removing any heat that remained on your skin. It felt really relieving, and you were glad to finally be out of the sun.
Konan walked beside you as you both made your way around the corridors. “I’ll walk you to your first class. I don’t have to be at mine for a little while anyway,” her eyes flickered from the clock on the wall to you.
“Hey! (Y/N)!”
The two of you both paused in the hallway to turn around. Your eyes grew wide when you saw Deidara rushing towards you with Sasori trailing behind him. You hadn’t seen the two boys in such a long time, and, being honest, you missed seeing their faces on a daily basis. They often entertained you whenever your mood felt sour.
“Hey! It’s so nice to see you,” you waved at the blonde boy as he stopped in front of you. Deidara seemed genuinely happy to see you. He vaguely remembered not seeing you for a while, and he was very concerned.
He placed his hand onto his hip. “It’s great to see you too!” he had this wide smile that made you feel happiness, “My man Sasori and I were worried for a little while,”
The red-head which was behind him joined his side within seconds. “Yeah, we were pretty worried about you. I hope everything is okay, because we do care about you. You’re a good person,” he softly grinned at you. His tone was reassuring, and you honestly had no clue he cared that much. Sasori was a guy who shared little words, and, whenever he did, they were almost always true.
You couldn’t help but feel good about that.
You played with the bracelet around your wrist. “Thank you, Sasori, I appreciate that a lot,” your expression changed to a warm one as you spoke.
Deidara crossed his arms over his chest. He almost looked like a child who was pouting over a toy they couldn’t get. “I care about you too, you know!” he rolled his eyes playfully.
You and Konan both exchanged looks with one another at his behavior. For several seconds, you both tried to hold in your laughter, but, ultimately, you failed and started laughing. Sasori even let out a few chuckles at his friend's behavior. He thought it was kind of hilarious to see him pouting like that.
Wiping away a tear, you shook your head to compose yourself. “That was funny.. but, on a real note, I appreciate you guys a lot. Thank you for the reassurance,” you looked at the two boys with a genuine smile on your face.
“I hate to be the person to end the conversation.. but your class starts like.. five minutes from now,” Konan chimed in, showing you the time on her Apple Watch.
You saw that she was right. You didn’t want to show up late anyway, so you’d have to continue your conversation with Deidara and Sasori a little later. You didn’t mind at all though, because you did want to catch up with them.
“See you guys later!” Deidara began to back away, and Sasori slowly followed after him.
As the two both walked away, you and Konan waved at them. You honestly couldn’t wait to fill them in on everything they missed. Maybe you could plan a little hang out at your apartment to get them all together. It’d be perfect for you, and it’d help you grow out of that shitty headspace with more people around you. It could be sort of a thank you to everybody who assisted you with everything that happened.
Maybe you could invite Kakashi too.
Turning around, you and Konan continued your route to the lecture hall. You were honestly super nervous to see your professor again. He was a very understanding man, but you weren’t sure how he was going to act when he saw you in person again. You hoped deep down that he wouldn’t call you out like other teachers did.
Your eyes landed on the familiar door of the same lecture hall you were always in on Monday mornings. There were a few of your classmates sitting outside of the entrance on their phones, choosing to not pay attention to anything around them. You honestly didn’t blame them either. You were that student many times, and they were probably secretly judging you for being extra.
Okay, highly unlikely. You really needed to get yourself in check.
As soon as you reached the door, you saw a group of students making their way out of the lecture hall. Their class must have been over, and they all seemed genuinely thankful that it was complete for the day. It was kind of funny.
You weren’t paying much attention to the students walking past you, but there was one student who immediately recognized you and they were not very pleased.
It was Rin.
Once her eyes landed on you standing outside in the hallway, all of her anger bubbled like a pot on a hot stove. She couldn’t believe she’d actually see you in person. You looked so.. content with yourself. There wasn’t a single thing wrong with you. She could see how genuine your smile was while you talked with your friend beside you. How could you seem so.. unbothered? You were wearing a cute outfit, and standing there so nonchalantly. You didn’t seem like you had a care in the world.
That’s what made her angrier. You acted as if you didn’t do a single thing, while Obito and Kakashi suffered for it.
No, she was done staying silent. She was beyond tired with not saying a single thing, and letting you walk around innocently.
Rin knew she had to take this into her own hands. Nobody else was going to do it for her, and somebody needed to tell you the goddamn truth. You were at fault for everything that happened between their friendship. It wasn’t right that they all had to break apart because of your idiotic actions.
Taking a deep breath, Rin practically speed walked towards you. At first, she didn’t even notice that her feet were moving until she saw herself standing directly in front of you. She could feel her heart slamming against her ribcage and her hands were trembling. She wasn’t scared of you, no, it was the fury that was threatening to fall any moment that was giving her body these reactions. She didn’t know if she was going to hold back against you, but she wanted to try to at least.
“Can I talk to you in private for a second?”
For a brief second, you were caught off guard by the voice beside you. Hell, you didn’t even see her until you turned your head to see who was speaking to you. It took you a few moments to realize that standing next to you was Rin Nohara. The girl who was in a trio with Obito and Kakashi.
You knew who Rin was, but you never had a single interaction with her. Whenever you’d see her with Obito and Kakashi, she was always smiling with them. You knew they had a very close friendship with one another, and Obito had mentioned her on numerous occasions. However, he never mentioned Rin knowing anything about you. It wouldn’t be an overstatement to say that she had no idea that you existed.
Confused, your eyebrows knitted almost instantly. Your brain began to buzz with curiosity as to why she wanted to talk with you.
Konan’s eyes briefly flashed towards where Rin was standing. She was becoming quite puzzled as to why the hell she came up to you like that. Sure, Konan was well aware of who Rin was, but what the fuck did she want from you? It’s not like she’s ever seen the two of you chat before, so, unless there was something she didn’t know, this didn’t sit right with her at all.
You looked towards Konan for a second then you placed your attention back on Rin. “Sure.. I guess,” you adjusted your hold on your backpack so it felt more secure on your shoulders. Being honest, you didn’t know what she was going to say. The uncertainty was driving you crazy, and you didn’t know what to do.
Rin stepped away from you and headed towards the hallway just around the corner. Konan narrowed her eyes as she watched the two of you disappear behind the wall. She didn’t know what Rin was up to, but there was a side of Konan that knew it wasn’t good. She was able to read vibes and auras very well, and Rin’s did not seem pleasant at all. It was throwing her off too, so she decided to stay close.
Konan didn’t give two shits if she was questioned. You were her best friend. There was no way she’d let something bad happen to you because of some weird fake preppy girl.
Rin turned around so she could face you. She could feel all of her emotions rushing through her all at once. Seeing you looking absolutely stupid in front of her made her even more furious than she was before. She never thought she’d ever have to have a conversation like that with you.
“You have some damn nerve, you know that?” her voice was serious, and it felt like venom was falling off of her lips. It honestly took you back. You weren’t expecting her to speak to you like that, but you weren’t about to let it slide.
You swallowed thickly, making sure you were confident when you spoke. “Excuse me? What the hell are you talking about? I’m sorry.. but could you explain? None of this makes sense,” you looked straight at her as the words came from your mouth. There was so much going through you at once.
Your response only made Rin more angry. You acting like a complete idiot was making it worse for her, and it was annoying. “I’m not explaining a single damn thing! You should be completely aware of what you’ve done. Stop acting like some stupid idiot! You don’t get to act that way. You aren’t some victim like you fucking claim to be,” she started to grow more aggressive, and you honestly didn’t know what to say.
“Rin, I-”
“No! I feel like you have no idea what you did fucked with every one of us!” she cut you off, “You just had to go and fuck him, huh?! You couldn’t keep your paws off of Kakashi because Obito left you? You were so desperate that you did it again!”
Now you were even more confused than before.
Your mind began to replay the day you last saw Kakashi at your apartment. The two of you didn’t have sex at all. Sure, things did get very touchy, but neither of you got to the point where there were any clothes flying off. You also wondered how Rin found out the two of you were together. Did Kakashi tell her? Did she see him leaving your place?
You had many questions, but there wasn’t a single answer.
You decided you needed to stand your ground. You couldn’t let her keep speaking to you like that. There was a motive for all of this, and you were going to figure it out.
“Rin, I’m going to be honest with you, I don’t have a single clue about what you’re talking about. Kakashi and I never did anything of the sort! I don’t know why you’re coming at me for something I didn’t even do,” you started, “And what does Obito have to do with this?”
Your words flowed into her head, causing even more of her fury to worsen. The cluelessness you were portraying was making her want to punch you. It sounded bad, but it was getting to that point. She didn’t want to be physical, but she had no problem doing so.
She bawled up her fist, her eyes flashing upwards towards you. You could see everything swirling around her pupils. “Are you seriously acting stupid again? My god, (Y/N), Obito was right about you! You’re just some stupid fucking slut!”
Your mouth fell open, but there wasn’t a single word that came from it. At first, you didn’t know what to do and it felt as if your brain went blank. How were you supposed to react? Obito.. really said those things about you? No, there was no way he’d ever call you that. He was never the type to call people those kinds of names. However, judging by Rin’s reaction, it didn’t seem like she was lying.
“That’s enough, you better shut your fucking mouth,”
Your eyes finally lifted off of the floor to see Konan standing in front you. She did not seem happy either, and there was this scary look in her eyes. You hadn’t seen that type of expression on her before, and, being honest, it gave you chills. She seemed genuinely angry, and you could practically see it fuming off of her.
Rin cocked her head to the side once she saw Konan there. “I dunno who you are, but this is a conversation between (Y/N) and I. I don’t think I asked for you to come and interject,” she stared at her with annoyance heavy in her eyes.
Konan let out a laugh. There was no way she was about to take that. She may have not known Rin very well, but she shouldn’t have been talking with you like that. It was unnecessary, and she wasn’t about to let it slide. Hell no.
“Excuse me? You’re the one creating a scene in a public hallway. I don’t care if this is a conversation between the two of you or not. (Y/N) is my best friend, and you have some fucking nerve coming to her and calling her a slut. I’m sorry, but I am not letting you get away with something like that,” she crossed her arms over her chest.
Silence enveloped the atmosphere around you. Rin didn’t look like she knew what she wanted to say. You were also at a loss for words. Everything she had told you was running through your mind so quickly you could barely keep up with it. You didn’t even have the energy to open your mouth. All you could do was stare into space while everything went down.
You honestly didn’t have a single clue on what you should do or think.
“What the hell are you standing there for? Go! I don’t want to see you mess with her again. If I do, I will seriously come for you. Don’t fucking mess with her,” Konan snapped at her randomly, causing you to practically jump out of your skin. She seemed to have gotten the message, because, shortly after, Rin scoffed and walked away from the two of you. She left your presence quite quickly too. This left only you and Konan in the hallway by yourselves.
Turning around to face you, Konan’s face softened. She could see the shift in your mood, and you genuinely seemed upset. There was a tug inside of her chest at that realization, and she quickly stepped forward to see if you were okay.
“(Y/N), are you-”
“H-He.. Obito, he.. he actually said those things about me..” you didn’t even look up at her. You felt as if you weren’t even there, and it felt like you were stuck in some illusion.
The absolute shock of hearing that Obito called you those kinds of names made you feel sick to your stomach. The familiar feeling of nausea started to creep over you again, and it seemed as if you were having deja vu. All of your emotions were thrown off and dropped back at square one where you started. How could Obito say those kinds of things about you? You never imagined he’d ever speak about you in such a disgusting manner.
He actually saw you as a slut?
It made you wonder if Obito found out about the night you spent with Kakashi. Rin had mentioned it, but you swore that Kakashi didn’t say a single word. He wouldn’t ever spill your secrets like that.. would he?
You didn’t know what to believe.
You also didn’t understand why this hurt you so much. You consistently told yourself that you didn’t care about Obito anymore, so you began to question why his words shattered you like glass. You could feel your chest tightening up. This wasn’t okay, you weren’t okay at all. Being at school was making you feel worse. You had to leave, there was no way you could do this anymore. You wanted to escape this mess.
Taking a deep breath, you tried your best to hold it all in. You didn’t want to burden Konan, and, most of all, you didn’t want people to see you like that.
“I’m gonna.. go, okay?” you tried your best to put on a fake smile.
Konan’s eyebrows knitted instantly, and she could see your facial expression changing. You weren’t happy, if anything, you looked like you were about to burst into tears. The look was so familiar to her, and she felt so bad.
She reached forward to touch you, but you backed away before her fingers could make contact with your shirt. “(Y/N).. no, please, don’t go home yet. You haven’t even gone through the entire day! Please, don’t do this,” she stepped closer, “I’m here for you, don’t let what he said get to you. Don’t listen to Rin.. she’s just some weirdo..”
You shook your head, feeling tears brimming in your eyes. As quickly as you could, you turned away and headed down the hallway. Your feet felt heavy, and you were so panicked by everything. This wasn’t how you imagined your first day back to go, and you were so disappointed by it all.
All you knew was that you wanted to get out of this place.

Begin Again Chapter 6 (sequel to IMW)
After the... questionable training session, they only had an hour before dinner. no one even dared to hope that Alfred was gonna move dinner time.
"So" Timbers began, his hand poised at the keyboard. "What are our questions, gentlemen-" and he smirked at demonspawn. “gentlelads?"
Damian shot him a glare that normally had thugs trembling, but the tired man just let out a laugh.
Bruce only gave a slight smile and got back into Mr. Serious mode. "How did she get her powers? Who knows about them? What are her powers? Are these powers hurting her in any way? Does she need help?” he rambled.
"OK B" Timbers said. "Slow down even if I can't type that fast. "
"Yeah B" Jason snorted. "You're going to look like you care..."
"I do care about Jason." Bruce responded; his teeth clenched.
"Sure," Jason said, looking unconvinced. "Tell that to someone who would believe that bullshit."
Bruce grinded his teeth. "You also agreed it was for her safety."
"I wouldn't have known that you were going to abandon her!" Jason fired back.
As Bruce was about to respond a note on violin floated down the drafty air of the bat cave. All heads turned to see Pixie by the wall playing the violin. She looked up and the violin poofed.
"How did you get here?" demon spawn asked. "More importantly, when did you get here?"
"Honestly," Pixie began. "doesn't matter, come on, grandpa says dinner 's ready."
With that she poofed again.
After Timbers hurried up with the printout, they all dashed in in the dining room where Pixie was helping Alfie lay out the plates. Bruce (he seriously needed some room reading skills) began. "Isabel, the paper." he awkwardly handed it out to her.
Alfred cut into the conversation. "I hope master Bruce that you will not bring such matters to the dinner table.
"Of course, not Alfred," Bruce Said.
Ha! Even the broody bat was no match for the true head of the vein patriarchy.
After that truly delicious dinner... who was he kidding Alfred's dinners are always delicious.
Bruce again placed the list in front of Pixie he was feeling a sense of deja vu seeing it was only a couple of months earlier Pixie herself placed a list in front of Bruce.
Pixie pulled the list closer. "How did I get my powers? - classified. Who knows about them? - honestly there is no right answer for that question. Do I have a mentor? - classified. What are my powers? - classified. Are they hurting me? - no... I think. Do I need help?"
Pixie looked up. "No."
Bruce looked agitated. "YOU ANSWERED HALF THE QUESTIONS CLASSIFIED!"
"SO?" Pixie shot back.
Bruce waved his hands around in anger. "YOU NEED TO TELL US!"
"WHY?" Pixie snarked. "YOU DIDN'T THINK IT WAS IMPORTANT TO TELL ME THAT MY BROTHER CAME BACK TO LIFE, THAT YOU AND MY FATHER WERE LOST IN THE TIME STREAM, PRESUMED TO BE DEAD, THAT I HAD TWO MORE BROTHERS AND A SISTER! ACCORDING TO THAT LOGIC YOU SHOULD ACCEPT THAT I DECIDE WHAT INFORMATION IS IMPORTANT FOR YOU TO KNOW OR NOT!"
They were kind of expecting this ever since they called her asking her to come back to Gotham, they knew that she would ask how all of this happened and more importantly why they didn't tell her and there was no right answer for that question.
Bruce stuttered. "But... but..."
"But WHAT?" Pixie screamed.
"Nothing." Bruce said deflating.
"Good." Pixie said regaining her composure. "My friends are coming to visit in a couple of weeks. I can host them in Gamora's penthouse, so I'll not be here for at least four to five days."
"You can invite them here." Bruce said.
"Fine." Pixie replied suddenly looking tired. "Goodnight, everyone." With that she got up and left.
Flashback to when they called Marinette/Isabella's legal guardian Gamora in order to call her.
Dick finally looked like he had enough. He eased the phone out of Bruce’s hand ad hit the call button. The call connected ad there came the voice of a 40-year-old woman.
Dick answered. “Good evening, ma’am, I am Richard Grayson-Wayne and I'm calling on behalf of my father Bruce Wayne regarding your ward Marinette Luscinia."
A melodious voice answered back.
“Good evening Mr. Wayne. I am sorry to disappoint you, but this is my work number, and I am not going to disobey work rules by answering personal questions.”
“Ma’am, is there any way we can talk to Marinette?”
“May I ask the reason for this conversation?”
“Has Marinette never said anything about the Waynes?”
There was a pause.
“As I said before I would not be entertaining personal questions but I can give you her personal number.”
“That is appreciated ma’am.”
“She has mentioned you in the past. Her number is…”
“Thank you ma’am” Dick replied, ever the gentleman.
Dick looks up and calls the number and pushes the phone in Bruce's hand.
A young voice comes up.
"Marinette Luscinia, how may I help you?"
"Umm...it's Bruce."
“Bruce as in Bruce Hady? Thank God you answered! I want an emergency arrangement ASAP!”
Everyone in the cave exchanged questioning looks.
“Bruce, a douchebag, not you obviously. But another Bruce I know has found me and I need you to introduce me as a suspect in literally any case. Just enough that I can't leave France better yet Paris. Including through jets.”
“Isa it's Bruce Wayne.” he replied wincing.
“Ohh…” there was an awkward silence. “okay bye”
The silly tone of hanging up rang out in the Batcave leaving Bruce staring dumbly at the phone.

ateezxcriminalminds au plan sorta
-> way overdue overview of this criminal minds x atz au 🥱
so i'll probably post a drabble on this later but rn this is kinda jst my idea on what the members' personalities will be like...anyways...
---
Hongjoong:
so Joong is pretty much like Hotch even though they're nothing alike. they present themselves differently but there are a few similarities between them. he's the leader of the group which is pretty much the whole reason i related him to Hotch in the first place. Joong is also a hardworker who doesn't really know how to take a break. he's very committed and passionate and supportive of his members which is again like Hotch.
Seonghwa:
Hwa reminds me of JJ. he's hardworking and organized which reminds me a lot of JJ. he seems like he would do very well in comforting people when informing them of something bad. (which is a big part of her job.) also she deals a lot with the press and the way Hwa is easily able to change between his normal self and stage presence self makes me think that he would be good at being in front of a camera.
San:
San gives off Morgan vibes with a mix of Hotch if that makes sense. he's very much a logical person which also makes him understanding. he knows when to joke and if he maybe takes something too far he can admit that he did and apologize for it. if he does something wrong he most likely wont realize it until someone else points it out. also he just seems like the type to like kicking down doors and tackling people. he enjoys his job a lot but sometimes he questions whether or not if he wants to keep doing it.
Yunho:
Yunho is 100% Garcia. they both give off golden retriever/puppy dog sunshine energy. Yunho loves his job most definitely. he's very intuitive and knows when something is wrong with his members. he's always there to talk and he loves being able to be that kind of emotional support. he's funny and witty. he definitely knows how to lighten the mood and just very positive in general.
Wooyoung:
Wooyoung for me is the hardest to place. he's a really good mix of Morgan, Garcia, and Prentiss. he's very playful and childish but he's also very emotional. he's the first to crack a joke but can also be the first to feel attacked if someone shoots a joke back. he's most definitely hardworking and whenever need be he knows how to get serious. he tries to lighten the mood because sometimes his job can be overwhelming to him since his personality is way different than it.
Jongho:
Jongho is most definitely a mix between Luke, Hotch, and Prentiss. his is gonna be short because i feel like his personality mix for this au just kinda makes sense. he's hardworking. he likes to joke but he's quiet most of the time. everyone thought he was pretty uptight at first but after a while they realized he's just a huge softy.
Yeosang:
Yeo is a mix of Reid and Garcia. he's the type to be very logical and witty. he's smart but not the type of smart that Reid is (meaning he doesn't info dump all the time. dw i love Reid and his info dumping sm 🫢) but he's the type of smart that's quiet about his brain and uses it to his advantage to make you feel a little dumb - meaning if you say something wrong he'll casually correct you, if you don't know something/you're struggling and you ask him for help, he'll figure it out really quick making you feel dumb for not being able to get it. he gives very much golden-retriever vibes but a little watered down if that makes sense.
Mingi:
Mingi is kind of a mix between Reid, Garcia, and Morgan. he's funny, smart, hardworking, witty, energetic, and determined. he knows what he wants and he goes for it. he tries his best but sometimes he feels like he's not as good at his job as everyone else is. he gets overwhelmed fairly easily which leads him to be all over the place at times. once he composes himself, though, he's ready to go again. he's very much a people pleaser.
---
-> note, these don't accurately reflect ateez in real life nor the characters in the show. these views are just how i think each member would act if they had to be categorized into personality charts that are based off of the BAU members. (i hope that makes sense.)
anyways it took me all day to write this so expect a drabble within the next week because i'm a lil too tired for it now. 😍 bye pooks <3
