Cashing people out was Kiera’s usual role – the part she was good at. Though it was a lot of the same things over and over again, the monotony was almost a comfort. So I came out to my parents as asexual when I was 13 (which didn’t go well because my parents cannot fathom not having sexual attraction. Don’t worry. They still don’t understand but they don’t have bad reactions now, so..). But anyways, my mom then started, I guess, doing research or maybe figured this out from me talking, I don’t know, but she figured out she was bi.

You want to know why she didn’t realize before? Because she thought everyone was bi. Kinda like how if you’re not deadly allergic to something but it makes your mouth itchy so you just assume everyone’s mouth gets itchy (me with bananas). But how could you not notice other people around you don’t like the same gender?

My mom grew up Mormon. They were against gay people and told them it was wrong. Which my mom and most of the rest of my immediate family also think is bullshit (fuck you Steven). But this is why she thought everyone was bi. Because they had to tell people. She figured that everyone must experience this because why else would they have to be told not to? She still thinks that the majority of people are bi for the same reason. But she now knows that some people are in fact straight.

So me coming out led my mom to realize that she was bi and that other people were not.

I BEAT IN STARS AND TIME YEATERDAY IT WAS SO GOOD!!

I didn't post about it cause I was overwhelmed. Very emotionally heavy story. Also I forgor. But it's very good, I think that anyone who wouldn't have a panic attack and or die because of the content should play it (PLEASE check content warnings on games before you play them, especially this one, so you don't have a panic attack and or die. Or if it just makes you uncomfortable its also cool to want to avoid it but I like being dramatic sometimes)

This is genuinely the best take on a time loop I have ever seen in any media ever. And the writing is incredibly good also, everything in it is so carefully constructed that it all feels very real and realistic, the characters actually feel like real people who are having conversations, the dialogue flows super smoothly and is very coherent, the overarching story is very good, and the worldbuilding, though not incredibly present in the actual game, the hints you get throughout the game of how the world works is soo good, really puts you in the place of the character.

Also, for any depression havers out there, this game is very much centered on how a time loop would affect a person's mental health if it were to happen, and it DOES NOT HOLD BACK. It gets into all of the stuff normally presented in a game with depression as a theme (celeste, chicory, etc) but also goes in depth about the stuff people don't like to talk about with depression (so, again, check the warnings on the game before playing if you are interested) which I really appreciated. This game really manages to make you feel absolutely terrible in the best way possible. I am going to force everyone I know and love to play this game

Also please go check out @insertdisc5 they made this whole masterpiece of a game (excluding the music and sfx, but it's still extremely impressive) and I think it should be more popular.

I did a quick search (it was not quick, I was at it for ages) and compiled data on the misheard lyrics of Sleep Tokens song Provider.

There are two clear options, the real question is which of those is it? They are definitely playing with us, because I am positive the lyrics have been changing on Spotify (not the most accurate place to look, I know) and they were definitely being messed with on Apple Music. I know that I hear bad baddie/spitting ice and so does my brother, the ‘t’ sound comes through and the first word he picked out on listening was ‘ice’ (that was also the version I found in the first few links of my search if that matters). We can’t know for sure till Sleep Tokens release the official lyrics. Idk what’s happening but I suppose we’ll see where it takes us. And most importantly, have fun with it!!!
