Note
What do you think of D.C.'s M26, do you think it was just a fire of pairs for us Shinran?
SPOILERS FOR MOVIE 26
i think, in total there are two significant shinran moments worth talking about
i enjoy certain elements of the first scene:
ran impulsively goes after a member of the black organization and puts herself in danger because he poses a threat to haibara. their fight is AMAZING, i love how ran dominates pinga despite him attacking her with a knife
Tumblr media
something similar happens in the manga as well (chapter 434), so the writing for ran absolutely tracks here
chianti sees the fight and interferes by attempting to shoot ran - shinichi barely manages to save her in time
Tumblr media
here's the thing: i absolutely hate the writers for often reducing ran to a damsel in distress in these movies, that's an issue i'll further analyze in a bit
with that being said, i don't mind shinichi saving ran in this scene. it's an impactful shinran moment, cause so far the writing is similar to the manga
the only difference between chapter 434 and this movie is the fact that shinichi actually sees what's happening and is able to actively protect ran. i don't have a problem with that, because that's what shinichi and ran do - they protect each other.
what i love even more is how shinichi decidedly urges ran to stay put, i think that's also very in character for him:
Tumblr media
he wants ran nowhere near the black organization, for very specific reasons that i'll get into another post
so far, this is a well executed scene, right? it's a very realistic, high-stakes moment that we'd expect from the manga. so far, so good, right? RIGHT?!
no. cause this is where the movie writers fuck up:
Tumblr media
W H A T
Tumblr media
ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?! SHE ACTUALLY STAYS?! AND WHEN SHIN TELLS HER TO RUN, SHE RUNS?! WHAT?!
this is is supposed be ran??? no fucking way.
my girl is the definition of reckless and stubborn. she's not just the type of person who'll enter a burning house to save a girl she barely knows (chapter 174), she's also the type of person who refuses to waste a single second when human lives are at stake. no matter how much shinichi begs her to stay away.
chapter 640
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and she does this in chapter 822 on the mystery train as well: shinichi yells at the detective boys, sonoko and ran, he tells them not to leave their room, no matter what. and ran repeatedly attempts to go against his instructions because she's worried about haibara, despite receiving a text message that she's okay, btw. ran's intuition tells her that something is wrong with haibara, so she's gonna fucking look for haibara!!!
i need the movie writers to understand that my girl is absolutely unhinged. she cares about other people very deeply, to the point where she's incapable of watching from the sidelines as they potentially get hurt
so how would i have written this moment? what would've been a more realistic version of this scene?
shinichi and ran get into an intense fight: shin desperately urges ran to stay put, she refuses to listen. and then there'd be two possible outcomes:
a) ran continues to go after pinga and dies in the process (remember, ran was fully prepared to die for haibara in chapter 434)
b) shinichi realizes that he can't stop ran and offers her a safer way to help. ran accepts and they work together as a team to get haibara back
why didn't the movie writers go for this approach? my theory: they don't want ran to take a bigger role in these movies, so option b) was a no-go for them. obviously it'd make even less sense for them to kill off ran, but like i already explained, there's no way ran would just give up on haibara in that moment
so why include this moment at all? what's the point of starting such a strong scene if you're not gonna progress the plot?
the point is ran being a damsel in distress.
which brings me to the second shinran moment in this movie:
ran goes after pinga again and he kicks her off the balcony, she's about to fall and get hurt
Tumblr media
kuroda ends up saving her and shinichi feels inadequate
Tumblr media
..............
Tumblr media
AGAIN, THERE'S NO PLOT PROGRESSION, THE ONLY POINT OF THIS SCENE IS TO MAKE HER LOOK WEAK
idk who this woman is but this ain't ran
Tumblr media
HERE'S RAN FUCKING MOURI FOR Y'ALL
a woman who's consistently depicted as strong, fierce and very capable of protecting herself:
chapter 43
Tumblr media
chapter 169
Tumblr media
and that's not to say that shinichi doesn't worry about her sometimes, ofc he does:
chapter 493
Tumblr media
but that doesn't take away from the fact that she's a fucking badass who can defend herself
Tumblr media
and it's not just that she's capable of protecting herself, she protects shinichi too.
chapter 5
Tumblr media
..........
Tumblr media
it's like the movie writers read the manga, took note of moments where shinichi comes through for ran but completely forgot that it's mutual, they come through for each other:
chapter 389
Tumblr media
chapter 1050
Tumblr media
the movie staff doesn't get ran, they seem to have no idea how strong or caring she is and i hate how much it's hurting the fandom's perception of her
in conclusion:

First Day in Osaka
Fluff, Smut (Handjob, penetration, creampie)
Tumblr media
Chapter 174
It’s the first day of the Japan Dome Tour in the city of Osaka, Japan. The members are excited to be back on stage together as a group for the first time in a while.
It’s two hours before the concert starts, the members are really excited for the concert to begin. Some of them are rest or eating before going on to do sound check. You on the other hand are working tirelessly to make sure that the first day of the tour goes well.
Jihyo is FaceTiming her parents on her phone, sitting in the corner of the break room. “We’re so proud of you, Jihyo. You’re finally able to go back on stage like” says her mom. “Yes, I’m really happy but at the same time I’m a bit nervous.” Jihyo’s mom tries to reassure her that she will do very well and to not focus on anything else but trying her best for her fans. As Jihyo’s mom is talking Jihyo notices a small shadow waddling across the room. “Jisoo, my princes. Is that you?” Hearing her mother’s voice Jisoo rushes to her grandmother and gets picked up. “Let’s wish your mommy the best of luck, okay?” Jisoo lifts her arm and says “eomma!” “Are you wishing me good luck, Jisoo?” Jisoo with a large smile on her face begins to giggle and kisses the phone screen. “Make sure that you listen to your grandma and grandpa okay? Be a good girl, Jisoo. With a large smile she goes straight for a hug to her grandma and waves goodbye.
“Are you going to call your girls, Mina?” asks Jihyo. “I already did. My mom said that they were taking them to the park and get some fresh air.” “It’s nice to see that your parents are having some quality time with their grandchildren” says Jihyo. “Yes, when I told them about the Japan tour they automatically asked me if I could bring the twins over so they could see them.”
Dahyun walks towards Jihyo and Mina who are talking and says, “I want to thank your parents at they are able to watch over Dauen.” “It’s no problem, they were more than happy to take care of her. They actually missed having children around, since my brother and I aren’t at home anymore they tend to feel lonely in an empty house.”
—————
It is time for sound check and the members are making sure that their mics are working correctly and that the sound in the arena is optimal for tonight’s show. You go back and forth from the front of the stage to the back, relying on crucial information and make sure that tonight goes well.
Jihyo sees how stressed you look during soundcheck and when its is done, pulls you to the side. “Are you okay?” “Yeah, just a bit tired that’s all. I want to make sure that tonight’s show is perfect for Twice and Once.” “You really care how this show goes huh. Maybe I can help you out a little” as she pulls you into the Twice break room. She pushes you into one of the fitting rooms and begins to zip down your fly, puts her hand inside and digs around through your underwear. She pulls out your limp cock and begins to move her hand slowly, awakening your cock from its slumber.
Both of you don’t say a word as Jihyo jerks you off. She looks directly into your eyes, staring at your soul as she pleasures you. Watching you enjoy her hand is a gift to her, knowing that she can take care of your needs. The intensity of the strokes increase as time passes. When she finally sees your eyes tremble she knows that your ready to cum so she increases the pace. Your eyes begin to roll back as you’re ready to cum so she makes the choice to collect her cum with her mouth.
Jihyo lowers herself and opens her mouth in O shape, connects the tip of your cock to her lips. She begins to suck the tip of your cock like a lollipop, causing you to release your cum. A large wave of cum flow pass her lips and into the mouth, making sure that none of it spills. As she drinks your seed you see that Jihyo is still looking directly at you and nothing eye. You can tell that she has total control of the situation and that she owns you. You see as her throat flexes, swallowing your seed as it goes down her esophagus and into her stomach.
Knowing that you have emptied out your tank she stands up, opens her mouth and shows you the remaining of your cum. She tilts her head and see it go down and opens her mouth again, showing you that she swallowed it all. Placing her hand on your cheek she says, “we’re here to support one another. We’re family. Don’t hesitate to lean on us, okay?” You nod your head, letting her know that you understand. “Also, I’m going to need your help with the rest of the members, okay? So make sure that they do their best during this tour.”
————
The first concert of the Japan Dome Tour begins and the members give it their all. With enthusiasm they begin their act. The first act consists of the songs “One More Time, Luv Me, Like Ohh-ahh.”
youtube
They move on to their second act and the third until they finally get a small break. The members are catching their breath and regaining their energy back. Momo on the other hand is unfazed and looks at you as you stand in the room.
Momo walks towards you, grabs your hand pulls you, “Come with me.” She walks you into one of the restrooms that the break rooms has and pushes you into one of the stalls. “I need a bit of a pick me up to continue with the show.” You remember what Jihyo said earlier about “needing your help with the members” so you don’t complain.
You and Momo begin to undress yourself really quick and not waste anytime. She hangs your pants and her shorts on the hook before getting on top of you. Sitting in one of the stalls you see as Momo aligns your cock to her entrance. She impales herself as she holds on to the walls of the stall. You grab her hips and she begins to ride you cowgirl style.
Momo’s tight walls grip onto your cock and she rides you violently, not wanting to waste any time. You see the the faster she rides you the more you can see the bulge on her stomach as you cock hits her womb. She tries to cover her mouth as she moans out your name. You know that this is a way for the members to destress but you can’t lie top yourself and say that you don’t enjoy it as well.
After some more intense riding Momo let’s you know what she’s about to cum. You make her get off of your and you pick her up from behind. You now have her in a reverse stand and carry position. “You can cum now” you command her. She fingers herself a bit more and she squirts a large stream into the toilet. “Don’t let it get on the floor” you say. She shakes violently during her orgasm but you’re ready to cum. After her twitching lessens you warn her “I’m going to cum.” With a shaky voice she whispers, “cum inside, its safe.” No other words are need.
Your tries to find her entrance as you cant see it since you’re in a reverse stand and carry position. After poking around your cock finds Momo’s entrances and you impale yourself inside. Momo grunts as she feels your hard and thick cock stab her insides. Her womb and walls hold your cock tightly, signaling your that its ready for your cum. A large wave of cum floods her womb and you see Momo blush and twitch from pleasure.
Not wanting to waste any more time you tell Momo what she’s going to need to hurry up from the next act. She hesitantly gets off and stands tall on the toilet stall, cum dripping into the water. She then steps down and you hand her her underwear and safety shorts, doesn’t even wipe the cum that is dripping down her thighs.
Momo rushes out of the bathroom and goes to the clothes rack to change her outfit. She gets ready for Act 3 and the song Candy Pop. The members rush back to the stage and see as Momo’s safety shorts damp from your cum and some small bits down her thigh.
———-
Tumblr media
You watch as Momo dances to the music with lots of passion, encouraging her members to do the same.
The first concert in Osaka ends perfectly and all the members have a large smile on their face.
“We really did good out there girls. Let’s keep it up like that for the next shows” says jihyo.
“Yes!!” shout the rest of the members as they walk to the break room to rest.
Momo walks by you and whispers, “ I can still feel your cum in my womb.” With a smile on her face she begins to walk faster, catching up to the rest of her members.

It took me a little bit to figure out what you were referencing, but yes, Jimmy Carter will pass John Nance Garner as the longest-living President or Vice President in American history on September 18th. And if he is still with us on October 1st, Carter will be the first President or Vice President in American history to celebrate their 99th birthday.

He scored 86.4% smash for his previous poll, with 386 smash votes. With the mustache, he scored 70.7% smash, with 374 smash votes. I thought he'd do better, given how popular mustaches seem to be overall, but maybe the mustache fans are just a small, vocal minority.
Eve Torres had the misfortune of being the least smashable woman overall. She was the fourth woman to score less than 50%.
We can now add Rocky Romero to the rankings for Best Friends and Friends:

Best Friends (Chuck and Trent): 66.7% smash
Roppongi Vice (Trent and Rocky): 62.7% smash
In other news, I'm starting to add Cagematch rankings to the results spreadsheet (reminder, that exists here: Google Docs). I plan to eventually make some silly charts involving those ratings, like smashability vs. Cagematch rating.
And now for some of my favorite tags and comment

The oddities of Nintendo Switch Online retro service
I've talked about a lot of things about this service, on Twitter, on Tumblr, but also a lot on Discord, but I have been thinking about a post where I could put all the accumulated information that I've gotten over the years through datamining and leaks.
Here's a post about all the little things that you may not know about the retro service of Nintendo Switch Online.
Identifiers and Stats
One of the most obvious parts of datamining these apps is that each game have a unique identifier rather than just being a game name.
On NES Switch Online, they use identifiers identical to the NES Mini ROMs, which are usually like CLV-P-H***J or CLV-P-N***E for Japanese and English, usually. On SNES, they use now an identifier like this S-****_j or S-****_e and other consoles follow suit.
The thing about these identifiers is that they have an order, they all usually follow each other. But in all the apps, there are always gaps, and those gaps can tell a huge story.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Currently as of February 2nd 2023, there are 66 Famicom games, 63 NES games, 53 Super Famicom games, and 55 Super Nintendo games on the service on all regions. If you start counting the gaps, it seems that internally, they have 185 NES titles and 174 SNES titles MINIMUM. This is a pretty huge difference.
Thanks to a leaked build of NES Switch Online from last year, we can figure out some of those missing titles, involving mostly Capcom and Konami, which are unlikely to release on the service as most of them were rereleased through collections before, though it hasn't necessarily stopped them.
That said, if you remember, we had done a similar research with Nintendo 64 and Genesis titles at launch, which the press have definitely talked about, where we found out there were potentially 38 N64 titles and 52 Genesis titles running internally at minimum, but Nintendo has actually done us dataminers a bit of a response: All IDs on N64 and Genesis are now randomized since the first updates, which means we cannot do this kind of research anymore.
That said the updates to NES and SNES apps have not done this change, they probably decided it wasn't worth it. But all that to say that Nintendo is definitely taking notice of our datamining (and won't be the last time) and won't necessarily hesitate to throw us for a loop.
The secrets of NES Switch Online 2.0.0 update
Now I'm definitely going way back in December 2018, 4 months after the debut of the full Nintendo Switch Online service after a year delay (do you actually remember that?).
In January 2019, people started to take notice of SNES game descriptions within the language files, hinting SNES Switch Online coming in the near future, and the potential games coming.
To this day, all the games except two released on the service: We're missing The Legend of the Mystical Ninja and Contra III: The Alien Wars.
The other thing that was noticed is what's called an enumeration of emulator types:
EMULATOR_TYPE_CANOE = 0 EMULATOR_TYPE_KACHIKACHI = 1 EMULATOR_TYPE_HIYOKO = 2 EMULATOR_TYPE_COUNT = 3
Canoe is the name of the SNES emulator since SNES Mini, Kachikachi is the name of the NES emulator since NES Mini, Hiyoko was, at the time, unknown, but turned out to be the Game Boy (Color) emulator, and Count is most likely a counter, to say there are 3 different emulator types, it's a programming standard.
What most people ignored at the time is that the app also included a function called getEmulatorTypeFromCode, which would return the Emulator Type based on the identifiers I talked about earlier.
Once I took notice of this and checking other code making use of it, I figured out something huge, and after talking to an actual reliable insider who also confirmed it (don't get used to this), my conclusion: They had originally developed a multi-emulator app, which would have included all games from NES, SNES and GB in one single app.
Now you may wonder why this didn't pan out, I don't have the exact reason but I can have some educated guesses: Aside from the accidental reveal of SNES emulator on Switch which I think is not that huge, I think the seperation of systems is probably because of the developers wanting to compatimentalize the development instead of having to test a huge app every time they wanted to update it to avoid potential huge regressions.
I think it's not necessarily a bad reason, as a developer I also take importance of the ease of development VS user experience, and I do think this decision is not really a bad thing overall, making a multi emulator can be extremely hard and you could deal with problems because of decisions taken extremely early on.
The secrets of SNES Switch Online
The SNES emulator derived from the Wii U Virtual Console by NERD has a bunch of secrets that you may not know about... such as the currently unused SNES Mouse emulation.
Once you start checking around the code about how to enable the SNES Mouse emulation, you find out two things:
It can be enabled using metadata within the custom ROM format.
It was able to be force enabled using specific internal emulator Game IDs.
The most interesting part of the Game IDs is that only 3 Game IDs specifically forced the SNES Mouse to be emulated: 0x11A0, 0x11A2 and 0x11A3. If we just keep ourselves to SNES titles that could only work with the SNES Mouse... we could think of only two, actually. Most of the SNES games that supports the mouse can also just work with the controller.
We can only think of Mario Paint and Mario & Wario as SNES titles that only works with SNES Mouse, but also both are first titles, so in terms of rights, there's no issues here.
The problem is like, what's the third title? And that's where we can have a lot of ideas here.
The thing about those emulator Game IDs is that they don't correspond to the Switch Online IDs, they correspond to IDs that have been populated since the Wii, but especially Wii U Virtual Console, but we don't exactly know when NERD took over the emulator from Intelligent Systems. It is currently impossible to tell for sure.
So we can only think of the following:
The third title is actually the PAL version of Mario Paint, when they used to seperate game versions in different IDs.
The third title is Sound Fantasy, the unreleased but confirmed to be completed third SNES Mouse first party game.
Or it is a game that Nintendo decided it was better to play with a mouse rather than the controller, but I don't think it's likely.
Unfortunately I don't know for certain.
One other thing about the SNES Switch Online service, you may have noticed that some of the games currently on the service can actually be played up to 4 players at the same time... at least outside of it since the emulator locks you up to 2 players maximum.
If you thought that they did not emulate the Multitap, you'd be wrong. In fact, the games in question all contain metadata saying up to 4 players, unlike what the menus might tell you, and they all technically emulate the SNES Multitap, but the user interface can only allow you 2 players, so it's sorta funny that the second player is technically plugged to the multitap from an emulation standpoint.
Funny.
The secrets of N64 Switch Online
This part has some plot twists to it, but in fact I should rather say the secrets of the N64 Wii U Virtual Console emulator, as most of these things were brought over from this.
Unlike what most people might tell you, NERD has not much to do with the N64 emulation, it was developed by iQue. If you wonder what's my evidence, the debug menu between the NES/GB VC emulator for 3DS (which is confirmed done by iQue because the source code of it leaked in 2020), and the N64 VC emulator for Wii U are pretty much the same.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I may as well mention the biggest secret of all which had a plot twist later: The N64 emulator used to have unfinished 64DD emulation code in it, since Wii U.
Tumblr media
I do insist on unfinished because it was nowhere near enough to boot a single 64DD game, but they for some reason included a Sim City 64 configuration file on Wii U at one point, probably for initial testing.
When the emulator was ported to Switch with improvements such as Vulkan graphics rendering on Super Mario 3D All-Stars and Nintendo 64 Switch Online app, a bunch of the 64DD emulation code stayed as is, in the same unfinished state.
However something funny happened in between, the emulator had code to recognize the fanmade 64DD cartridge ports, and those are definitely fanmade, and they must have looked at other emulation code for it, and most likely, code that I even wrote myself as I did add support for these in emulators before. Note that at that point, the code to boot those games were not seemingly present, or maybe I missed it.
So I would like to assume iQue had still wanted to make 64DD games working, but wanted to test on easier to emulate versions of the games. That said, I did mention this on Twitter... and then they removed every single line of code involving 64DD in the 1.2.0 update build in January 2022. It was probably not literally removed, just not compiled as it is still a good skeleton code for it. I am definitely convinced that I'm being looked at.
When it comes to other stuff in the emulator... well did you know that the Controller Pak, the memory cartridge that you put inside the controller's slot to save in a bunch of games, is actually fully emulated since Wii U?
It is very annoying that they had something like this working, but couldn't figure out to swap between both that and the Rumble Pak for games that could make use of both.
If you wonder about the Transfer Pak, the Wii U has a bit of it, but it's just turning the hardware ON and OFF, and this code has stayed as is on Switch. I know Emily Rogers has mentioned there were experiments and I believe her, but unfortunately, the code must be in a seperate branch and not put in place in N64 Switch Online builds.
If you tell me "oh they didn't plan Pokémon transfers for Pokémon Stadium," please look at the japanese Direct about it and you'll find a widely different sentence that does not actually rule out support for this, stating that "Pokémons cannot be transferred from the Game Boy." I dunno about you, but that's a statement that makes it vague because they could just mean the actual real Game Boy.
Now I'm not really dumb, as Nintendo has showed that Switch Online is mostly low budget and does the bare minimum, but there are things that shows a bit more attention to things...
When it comes to new things that weren't in the emulator on Wii U, they actually emulated the Real Time Clock chip from Animal Crossing's N64 original version. This code actually isn't in Super Mario 3D All-Stars, this must be a fairly new addition, and since there's only one game using it, it is fair to assume Animal Crossing is actually in a working state in the emulator.
When Mario Golf was added to the service, the Lua script dedicated for it is... a bit odd. It includes code for asynchronous netplay, where each player would take control of the game in turns in an attempt to optimize the netplay and reduce lag. This code is fully unused, there's not even the functions that it uses in the emulator yet.
This could also be additional evidence towards my theory that the NSO apps would see a refresh including user experience to some extent, but this stuff was added since April 2022, so whatever they are doing, it's certainly in private and has been in the works for almost a year now.
This post... is a bit long already, and there are still a bunch of other little secrets to uncover, but I think I covered the most technical ones so far, I hope this post is mostly clear about these secrets. Feel free to give me feedback.

The White House has its own pharmacy that, until recently, could perhaps best be described as a hot mess, according to a recent investigation report from the Department of Defense’s Office of the Inspector General.
For years, the White House Medical Unit, run by the White House Military Office, provided the full scope of pharmaceutical services to senior officials and staff—it stored, inventoried, prescribed, dispensed, and disposed of prescription medications, including opioids and sleep medications. However, it was not staffed by a licensed pharmacist or pharmacy support staff, nor was it credentialed by any outside agency.
The operations of this pseudo-pharmacy went as well as one might expect, according to the DoD OIG's alarming investigation report. The investigation was prompted by complaints in May 2018 alleging that an unnamed "senior military medical officer" was engaged in "improper medical practices." This resulted in the OIG's investigation, which included 70 interviews of Military Office officials who worked in the White House between 2009 and 2018 and covers the office's activity until early 2020. However, the investigation heavily focused on prescription drug records and care between 2017 and 2019 during the Trump administration.
During that time, staff at the White House pharmacy kept handwritten records of prescriptions, the OIG found. The records frequently contained errors in medication counts, illegible text, and crossed-out text and lacked medical provider and mandatory patient information. The pharmacy let White House staff pick up over-the-counter drugs from open bins, in violation of Navy medical regulations. It didn't dispose of controlled substances properly, increasing the risk of diversion. Staff provided prescriptions without verifying patients' identities and provided prescriptions to people who were ineligible for care. And it dispensed pricey brand-name products freely, rather than generic equivalents that are considerably cheaper—also a violation of regulations.
In one interview, a White House pharmacy staff member said an unnamed doctor asked "if I could hook up this person with some Provigil as a parting gift for leaving the White House."
Provigil is a drug that treats excessive tiredness and is typically used for patients with narcolepsy, sleep apnea, and other sleep disorders. Brand-name Provigil is 55 times more expensive than the generic equivalent. Between 2017 and 2019, the White House pharmacy spent an estimated $98,000 for Provigil. In that same timeframe, it also spent an estimated $46,500 for Ambien, a prescription sedative, which is 174 times more expensive than the generic equivalent. Even further, the White House Medical Unit spent an additional $100,000 above generic drug cost by having Walter Reed National Military Medical Center fill brand-name prescriptions.
White House baggies
Another White House pharmacy staff member gave clues as to what the staff was doing with those brand-name prescriptions. The staffer told OIG investigators that ahead of overseas trips, the staff would prepare packets of controlled medications to be handed out to White House staff. "And those would typically be Ambien or Provigil and typically both, right. So we would normally make these packets of Ambien and Provigil, and a lot of times they’d be in like five tablets in a zip‑lock bag. And so traditionally, too, we would hand these out. ... But a lot of times the senior staff would come by or their staff representatives... would come by the residence clinic to pick it up. And it was very much a, 'hey, I’m here to pick this up for Ms. X.' And the expectation was we just go ahead and pass it out."
In addition to the excessive costs of Ambien and Provigil, the White House Medical Office may have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on health care for ineligible staff members. White House Medical Unit senior officials estimated that its Executive Medicine clinic has 60 enrolled patients, but it provided care for 6,000 employees, potentially billing the DoD. Between 2017 and 2019, officials also offered senior government officials a patient category code for care at Walter Reed, such that the facility was unable to properly bill them. In the three years, Walter Reed waived over $496,000 in outpatient fees because of these patient categories.
Overall, the OIG concluded that "all phases of the White House Medical Unit’s pharmacy operations had severe and systemic problems due to the unit’s reliance on ineffective internal controls to ensure compliance with pharmacy safety standards."
The report does not mention Rear Admiral Ronny Jackson, who served as the physician to the president from 2013 to 2018 under both Barack Obama and Donald Trump. Stat, which first reported on the OIG's new report, noted that Jackson had been accused of fostering a toxic work environment, engaging in alcohol-fueled misconduct, and misusing Ambien, specifically. OIG received those allegations during the first part of 2018, around the same time when the pharmacy complaints came in. And some of the allegations against Jackson were confirmed by a separate OIG investigation released in 2021.
Though a draft of the new report on the White House pharmacy was completed in 2020, it sat under review in the White House Military Office until July 2023.
The OIG laid out a series of recommendations, including establishing oversight of the White House pharmacy, creating a policy to determine staff eligibility, and implementing pharmaceutical oversight. DoD officials have agreed to the recommendations and are working to implement them, the OIG report noted.

Peugeot 104 ZS2 (1 of 1.000)
Peugeot prepared a version of the small 104 similar to the one that the Peugeot 205 Rallye and Peugeot 106 Rallye had. The technicians eliminated everything superfluous, that which did not serve to drive and that added weight. For its creation, the 104 ZS was started, a semi-sports version that had two versions: one with 66 CV and the other with 80 CV. For the homologation, many changes were made and among the most outstanding was the engine, which became having 1,364 cubic centimeters with two Solex C35 PHH E8 double-body carburettors, which allowed to announce 93 CV at 5,800 rpm and 123 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm. It may not seem like much, but let me remind you of its weight: 770 kg. Under the name of Peugeot 104 ZS 2, with that horsepower and that tare, it promised a sprint from a standstill in 10.5 seconds and a top speed of 174 km/h. The Peugeot 104 ZS 2 was only in production for one year, during which it was the most powerful and fastest car from the French company. It also turned out to be a rather expensive car, not in vain, it was a racing car with permission to drive on public roads. It also boasted some A, il wheels. 13-inch, a body with slightly widened wheel arches and sportier seats with headrests (in those years they were optional).

John Pruitt x reader
Warnings: Nsfw, but no directly explicit words used, swearing and mention of blood :)
Words: 174
(Promp: Pouring the mixture of wine and blood John keeps for mass down his throat while riding him. <3)
"H-holy shit" John gasps, his eyes closing, and his head falling forward due to my pace. I smile, my breath unsteady. I reach over and pick the glass bottle John had left on the side table earlier with shaky hands.
"Look at me." I state as John lifts his head to meet my gaze. My right hand lifts from his shoulder to grip his jaw, pushing his head back. "Open." I demand as he does so wordlessly. I hold the bottle over his head and pour the mixture of blood and wine down his throat, spilling some of it. I move the glass bottle from his mouth to my own, letting go of his jaw and downing what was left, the taste of wine mixed with the copper like taste of blood coats the inside of my mouth.
John looks up at me, trying to catch his breath as his chest heaves, his eyes filled with adoration, his hair a wreck, his face stained with the wine that i spilt running down his chin.

An alternate universe in which everything turned out alright. Since Bheem is shipped with either Jenny or Ram, the fic has two different endings (Part 2). A big thank you to all the creators, this one is for you! (10,551 words)
20. Sanctuary - Bheem and Jenny finally get to enjoy their relationship. Having dealt with so many ups and downs, it is only fair that they get a chance to experience the beauty and blessings of life as well. There is one last remaining obstacle in their path. In this story, they will overcome that as well. But like all things in their lives, it won't be without its own unique challenges. Warning- The second chapter deals with Bheem's time in police custody, between his arrest and the flogging. That section is heavy and angsty. Approach with caution. But, the ending of the fic is happy. Not bittersweet like my usual. It is happy! (13, 823 words)

Herm with erect phallus 520 BCE. From Siphnos. Marble. H. 66 cm (25 ¾ in.). Inv.3728. National Archaeological Museum of Athens.
"HERMAE (ἑρμαῖ), and the diminutive HERMULI (ἑρμίδια), statues composed of a head, usually that of the God Hermes, placed on a quadrangular pillar, the height of which corresponds to the stature of the human body (ἡ τετράγωνος ἐργασία, Thuc. 6.27; τὸ σχῆμα τὸ τετράγωνον, Paus. 4.33.4). Some difficulties are involved in the question of their origin, and of their meaning as symbols of Hermes. One of the most important features in the mythology of Hermes is his presiding over the common intercourse of life, traffic, journeys, roads, boundaries, and so forth, and there can be no doubt that it was chiefly in such relations as these that he was intended to be represented by the Hermae of the Greeks and by the Termini of the Romans, when the latter were identified with the Hermae. It is therefore natural that we should look for the existence of this symbol in the very earliest times in which the use of boundary-marks was required; and in such times the symbols would be of the simplest character, a heap of stones or an unhewn block of marble. Now we find that there were in many parts of Greece heaps of stones by the sides of roads, especially at their crossings, and on the boundaries of lands, which were called ἑρμαῖα or [p. 1.954]ἑρμεῖα, ἑρμαῖοι λόφοι and ἕρμακες (Hesych. s. vv.: the remarks on the etymology of these words in Buttmann's Lexil. and L. and S. ed. 7 should be corrected from Curtius, Gr. Etym. 349, 350). A ἑρμαῖος λόφος near Ithaca is mentioned in the Odyssey (16.471)); Strabo noticed many ἑρμεῖα on the roads in Elis (viii. p. 343); and even now an ancient heap of stones may be seen on the boundary of Laconia (Ross, Pelop. vol. i. pp. 18, 174). The religious respect paid to such heaps of stones, especially at the meeting of roads, is shown by the custom of each passer-by throwing a stone on to the heap (Nicand. Ther. 150); this custom was also observed with reference to the Hermae of later times, at least to those which stood where roads met and served as milestones or direction posts (Brunck, Anal. 3.197, no. 234). Such heaps of stones were also seen by Strabo on the roads in Egypt (xvii. p. 818). Another mode of marking a boundary or other definite locality was by a pillar of stone, originally unhewn, the sacred character of which was marked by pouring oil upon it and adorning it (Theophrast. Char. 16 ; comp. Genesis 28.18, 22, 31.45-48, where both the pillar and the heap of stones are set up for a witness, 35.14).
Of these heaps of stones and pillars, those which marked boundaries were, among the Dorians, dedicated to Apollo Agyieus, the guardian of the streets and highways (Müller, Dor. 2.6.6; 8.17); a worship which was subsequently introduced into Attica (Aristoph. Wasps 875; Dem. c. Mid. p. 531.52). At Athens, on the other hand, Hermes was from the first invested with the same offices, and other Greeks borrowed this image from the Athenians (Paus. l.c.; cf. 1.24.3).
The first attempt at the artistic development of the blocks of stone and wood, by which, in the earliest period of idol-worship, all the divinities were represented, was by adding to them a head, in the features of which the characteristics of the God were supposed to be expressed; and afterwards other members of the body were added, at first with a symbolical meaning. [DAEDALA] These changes produced the Hermae, such as they are described by the ancient authors, and as we now have them. The phallus formed an essential part of the symbol, probably because the divinity represented by it was in the earliest times, before the worship of Dionysus was imported from the East, the personification of the reproductive powers of nature. So the symbol is described by Herodotus, who ascribes the origin of it to the Pelasgians, who communicated it to the Athenians, and they to the other Greeks. (Hdt. 2.51; Plut. an Seni ger. sit Resp. 28, p. 797 f.; Cic. de Nat. Deor. 3.2. 2, § 56; comp. Creuzer's note, in Baehr's edition of Herodotus.) Pausanias gives the same account of the matter (1.24.3; 4.33.3), and also states that the Arcadians were particularly fond of the ἄγαλμα τετράγωνον (8.48.4; where the statue referred to is one of Zeus), which is some confirmation of the tradition which carried back the invention to the Pelasgic times.
In the historical times of Greece, too, it was at Athens that the Hermae were most numerous and most venerated. So great was the demand for these works that the words ἑρμογλύφος, ἑρμογλυφικὴ τέχνη, and ἑρμογλυφεῖον were used as the generic terms for a sculptor, his art, and his studio (Plat. Symp. p. 215; Lucian, Somn. § § 2, 7; and the Lexicons).
Houses in Athens had one of these statues placed at the door, called ἑρμῆς στροφαῖος or στροφεύς (Thuc. 6.27; Aelian, Ael. VH 2.41; Suid. s.v. Pollux, 8.72; Athen. 10.437 b); sometimes also in the court-yard (Lucian, Navig. 20, p. 261), which were worshipped by the women as conducive to fecundity, and the great reverence attached to them is shown by the alarm and indignation which were felt at Athens in consequence of the mutilation of the whole number in a single night, just before the sailing of the Sicilian expedition. (Thuc. 6.27, with Grote's remarks, ch. 58, 5.146 ff.; Andoc. de Myst.; Aristoph. Lys. 1094, and Schol.; Aristophanes applies the term ἑρμοκοπίδαι to the mutilators; see also Phot. s. v. ἑρμοκοπίδαι.)
They were likewise placed in front of temples, near to tombs, in the gymnasia, palaestrae, libraries, porticoes, and public places, at the corners of streets, on high roads as sign-posts, with distances inscribed upon them (Boeckh, Corp. Inscr. No. 12; Brunck, Anal. 3.197; and the epigrams on Hermae in 198=Anth. Pal. 6.221); and some are still to be seen at Athens with the names of victors in the gymnastic contests inscribed upon them. (Leake, Athens, p. 17, n. 1.) They were even made vehicles of public instruction, according to the author of the Platonic Hipparchus (p. 228 D--229 B), who says that the tyrant Hipparchus placed Hermae in the streets of the city and in roads throughout Attica, inscribed with moral verses, such as the following:-- “ Μνῆμα τόδ᾽ Ἱππάρχου: στεῖχε δίκαια φρονῶν.
Μνῆμα τόδ᾽ Ἱππάρχον: μὴ φίλον ἐξαπάτα.
(Comp. Harpocrat. s. v. Ἑρμαῖ: Hesych. sub voce Ἱππάρχειοι Ἑρμαῖ. Those which stood at cross roads had often three or four heads (Philoch. fragm. 69 Müller; Harpocr. and Etym. M. s. v. τρικέφαλος Ἑρμῆς: Phot., Hesych. sub voce τετρακέφαλος Ἑρμῆς: Eustath. ad Hom. Od. p. 1353, 3).
Numerous examples occur in Pausanias and other writers of their being placed on the boundaries of lands and states and at the gates of cities (πρὸς τῇ πυλίδι, προπυλαῖος, Paus. 8.34.3, s. 6; 4.33.3, s. 4, &c.; Harpocr.). Small Hermae were also used as pilasters, and as supports for furniture and utensils. (Pollux, 7.15, 73; Müller, Archäol. § 379, n. 2.) Respecting the use of the Hermae and Hermuli in the Circus, see p. 433, with cuts of the doors of the Carceres.
With respect to the form of these works, the essential parts have been already mentioned. A pointed beard (σφηνοπώγων) belonged to the ancient type (Artemid. 2.42). A mantle (ἱμάτιον) was frequently hung over the shoulders (Paus. 8.39.4; D. L. 5.82). Originally the legs and arms were altogether wanting (Pausanias calls them ἄκωλοι, 1.24.3), and, in place of the arms, there were often projections to hang garlands upon; but when the reverence attached to the ancient type became less, and the love of novelty greater, the whole torso Was placed upon a quadrangular [p. 1.955]pillar, which tapered towards the base, and finally the pillar itself was sometimes chiselled to indicate the separation of the legs, as may be seen in a tetragonal female statue in the Villa Albani. (Winkelm. Storia delle Arti, vol. i. tav. 1.) Sometimes, as above stated, the head was double, triple, and even fourfold. The whole figure was generally of stone or marble; but Cicero (Cic. Att. 1.8) mentions some which were of Pentelic marble, with bronze heads. (Müller, Archäol. d. Kunst, § 67.)
Many statues existed of other deities, of the same form as the Hermae, which no doubt originated in the same manner, and which were still called by the generic name of Hermae, even though the bust upon them was that of another deity. Several images of this kind are described by Pausanias; one of Poseidon at Tricoloni in Arcadia (8.35.6), another of Zeus Teleios at Tegea (ib. 48.4), and another of Aphrodite Urania at Athens (1.19.2). The reason why the statues of the other deities were developed into perfect forms, while those of Hermes so generally (by no means universally) retained their ancient fashion, is obviously on account of the religious significance attached to the symbol of the pillar, as a boundary mark. Where this motive was not called into action, Hermes himself was represented in the complete human form with all the perfection of Greek art, as, for example, in his statues in the palaestrae, and in those which embodied others of his attributes. (See Müller, Archäol. d. Kunst, § § 380, 381.)
Some statues of this kind are described by a name compounded of that of Hermes and another divinity: thus we have Hermanubis (Anth. Pal. 11.360), Hermares, Hermathena (Cic. Att. 1.1 and 4), Hermeracles (Cic. Att. 1.1. 0), Hermeros (Plin. Nat. 36.33), Hermopan (Bekk. Anecd. 1198). It has been disputed whether such figures were composed of the square pillar, as the emblem of Hermes, surmounted by the bust of the other divinity; or, secondly, whether the heads of Hermes and the other God were united, as in the bust of Janus; or, lastly, whether the symbolical characteristics of the two deities were combined in the same statue. The best recent criticism is in favour of the first of the above explanations : “as commonly assumed, they were statues of those deities in the Hermes form, not Janus-like compounds of the two deities named” (Baumeister, 1.604a; cf. Müller, Archäol. d. Kunst, § 345). Exceptions, however, seem to have existed: a Janus-head of Hermes and Athena in Müller's Denkmäler, pl. xlii. No. 526. Some, again, such as the Hermerotes of Tauriscus, mentioned by Pliny among other masterpieces of sculpture, were probably not of a terminal character at all, any more than the Hermaphroditi, of which specimens are extant [HERMAPHRODITUS]. It is not unlikely that they may have been simply hermaphrodite Erotes, like those depicted on some south-Italian vases. It is difficult to believe that the sculptor of the Dirce-group (Toro Farnese) would have condescended to the embellishment of terminal figures.
There is still another class of these works in which the bust represented no deity at all, but was simply the portrait of a man, and in which the pillar loses all its symbolical meaning, and becomes a mere pedestal. Even these statues, however, retained the names of Hermae and Termini. The examples of them are very numerous. A list of these and of the other Hermae is given by C. W. Müller. (Ersch and Gruber's Encyklopädie, art. Hermen.)
The Hermae of all kinds were in great request among the wealthy Romans, for the decoration of their houses and villas (Cic. ad Att. ll. cc.). It is also stated that they used them as posts for ornamental railings to a garden, in which case they were commonly decorated with the busts of philosophers and eminent men, some of which may be seen at the Vatican and other museums, with the square holes in their shoulders into which the transverse rail was inserted. This square hole, however, is also seen in Hermae of old Greek workmanship, in which cases they were probably the sockets of the projections, above mentioned, for hanging garlands on.
The existing remains of ancient art are rich in terminal statues of all the classes which have been described; and specimens of nearly all may be seen in the British Museum, and in engravings in Müller's Denkmäler der alten Kunst (vol. i. pl. i. Nos. 3, 4, 5;--vol. ii. pl. xxxi. No. 341; pl. xxxiii. Nos. 376, 386, 387; pl. xxxvi. Nos. 428, 429; pl. xlii. No. 526). The first two examples in Müller are very interesting: the one is a bas-relief, exhibiting a Hermes decorated with garlands and surrounded with the implements of his worship, as shown in the following engraving; the other is also a bas-relief in which we see a terminal bust of Dionysus washed and decorated by a man and three women. Hermae of the bearded Dionysus occur frequently among existing remains (Gurlitt, Archäol. Schr. p. 194 ff.) Respecting the Hermae on coins, see Rasche, Lex. Univ. Rei Num. s. vv. Herma, Hermathene, Hermes. (C. O. Müller, Archäol. der Kunst; Müller and Osterley, Denkmäler der alten Kunst; Baumeister, Denkmäler, s. vv. Götterbilder, Hermes.)"

what's your 4th nugget like? :)
Tumblr media
Laetitia's big sister, and friends with every member of the Eternal Five, Ashely is a sweet and lovable nugget who has no idea what is going on at any given moment. Her head is completely empty and it's what helps make her adorable.
Ashely's main trait is that somehow, she is immune to basically anything. If she doesn't think something will hurt her, it simply can't. Due to this, she is practically unkillable. However, on the flipside, if she becomes convinced something can harm her, even if harmless, then it will.
There have been calls to have her classified as an Abnormality, but the corporation decided it wasn't worth the effort.
While she spends lots of time with Laetitia, there are many other Abnormalities she hangs out with. She treats them like cute pets, rather than actual threats. From Nothing There to Queen of Hatred, from CENSORED to Child of the Galaxy, even Mountain of Smiling Bodies! To her, they're all cute friends.
In terms of personality, she is almost suspiciously nice. However, there is no ulterior motives in her head, she simply doesn't know you can be mean to people. Due to her very friendly personality, she's friends with almost every employee she meets, though her over-aggressive friendliness can sometimes be a detriment.
Meanwhile, in the Library, she thrives. Book organizing comes naturally to her, and in combat, she works amazing as a tank due to her aforementioned inability to be harmed by things she doesn't know should hurt her.
In the corporation, a lot of her time was spent mixed between Training and Disciplinary. In the Library, she hangs out on Yesod's floor a lot, but will probably be moved down to Chesed once I unlock him.
