i have 3 more general-ish yakuza/gang-member kyoutani crumbs for you:

kyoutani's not great with words, so when he fucks up (and he will), his go to solution is to shove pretty, expensive things your way. jewellery, mostly, cause he's got no fucking clue about clothes or fashion or sizing or any of it. but jewellery he can do. just sort of shoves the box in your hands with a mumble about a gift, cheeks all red, refusing to meet your eye. he won't ever ask you to wear, but you'll catch him checking over the following days, peeking out of the corner of his eye. sometimes he hates that he's not better at this shit – loving you (... keeping you, maybe) – but he tries.

considering his position as an enforcer, some asshole getting the occasional lucky hit in comes with the territory. it means he comes home with bruised and split knuckles, the occasional cut – once, a grazing bullet wound, but he's long since learned to patch himself up. he can take care of himself, but there's a look he gets when you reluctantly take over, him perched up on the bathroom counter, you standing between his legs, that unnerves the hell out of you. he doesn't say much, barely moves, fixated on watching you take care of him.

kyoutani thrives on violence. that goes without saying. oikawa, iwa – all the bosses – they point, take off the leash, and let him do what he does best, and he's not a sadist, but he enjoys it. there's no deep, yearning desire to be a better man, a less violent one. he sometimes wishes you were in the dark about it – that you wouldn't flinch when he gets pissed of, watch him out the corner of your eye like you're just waiting for him to explode, but it is what it is. mostly, he finds himself wishing that you'd embrace his violence. ask for it. fuck, you wouldn't even have to put it into words. oikawa might be the one holding his leash, and he is a loyal dog if nothing else, but you really don't understand the power you have over him. if all he has to give is this awful, furious violence, it's yours. without question. he'd burn whole fucking cities for you.

listen. this may sound like a reach but I don’t think house’s eagerness to go to the lesbian bar with thirteen was fetishistic glee. because like. okay. straight men love lesbians. but it’s only ever in a “conventionally attractive porn stars making out”, “I’ll pay these 2 strippers to kiss” sort of way, not exactly in the sense that they like to surround themselves with regular, real life sapphics. in fact, most hetero men despise the lesbians they meet in real life because they see them as either unattainable or unappealing disappointments to their fantasies. now, listen. house isn’t stupid, it’s not like he thought thirteen was gonna let him in on some hot girl-on-girl voyeuristic action, and he certainly knew he wasn’t about to get laid himself at a bar of ALL WLW. he’s an overconfident perv, sure, but not the kind who thinks he can ‘convert’ a gay gal, nor would he even desire to. the damn patient of the week is a guy who tried to ECT himself straight, which house obviously doesn’t believe is reasonable (this episode also gave us the shot where both house & thirteen are shown making a face in response to “I’m as straight as any of you!”)

with all of this laid out, you kinda have to assume that he was excited about the bar for another reason. dare I say it was simply… the joy of existing in a queer space as a queer person?
