20 Questions For Writers
Wow, thank you so much for the tag @fanfictasia !! I've wanted to participate in something like this forever!! 🎶✨️✨️
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
Right now? 66.
"Yes, as a star wars writer, I am very proud of that. No, I do not intend to change it anytime soon."
I really need to focus on (and finish) some of my WIPs, and that mean trying not to disperse my energy amidst one shots (no matter how much i love monthly challenges and fic exchange events). Also I'm very proud of that 66 count and want to appreciate it xd.
2. What’s your total AO3 word count?
321k words!!
(More or less 100k / year 🎶 little me would never believe that 0.0
My school exam results sure don't, with how they are dropping 🤣)
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Star wars mostly (Vaderkin or my OC Sinvulkt), then Marvel (Dr Strange), Dream SMP (Dream), Le Visiteur du Future (Renard) and more recently Batman (Bruce Wayne) as well as Avatar: the last airbender (Zuko).
Plus the original stories I am supposed to write but almost never end up doing xd (the engagement in fandom compared to original stories make the switch hard xd).
4. What are your top five fics by kudos?
1. Dreamt of a Never Ending Sky (Dream SMP)
2. To Fly Free Under The Morning Sun (Star Wars)
3. On the Edge of Twilight (Star Wars)
4. Scales of Embers (Avatar: The Last Airbender)
5. Crash Landing on Space Australia (Star Wars)
I'll never know how my Dream SMP fic got so much engagement. Good timing at a moment the fandom was in effervescence, I guess. Scales of Embers scoring so high is also a surprise 0.0. I discovered it had that many kudos today. It’s a shame the Dr Strange fandom is small because I think my Dr Strange WIP What If Doctor Strange Lost His Humanity ? would have deserved a place here. It definitely does in my heart.
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
I try to! As a reader, I always feel super happy when the author shows that they’ve read and appreciated my comments. I know that personality an author who answers make me more likely to want to drop a comment.
As an author, I absolutely want to show how much I love every single comments, so I try to answer them all. But I get a little overwhelmed sometimes, bcs lots of other stuff going on irl or another reason. As such, it can happen that I don't feel the energy to answer a comment on the spot. And if I don't answer it on the spot (using the power of the wiggy dizzy nice happy feeling of getting a comment), I don't necessarily have the energy to answer later on. I currently have something like 60 unanswered comments I think? TT.TT
But rest assured that whether I answered or not, I absolutely adore and cherish every single ones!! Comments are amazing! ✨️.✨️
(This kind of engagement is one of the only reason I managed to settle into such an active rythm of writing after years of trying then dropping the hobby~)
6. What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Glance at my fics.
Uhhh... This is a hard question here... Many of them have angsty endings XD
Mostly the ones at the beginning (the worst written ones xd). I wonder why~
Also a lot of them don' have endings yet XD
I'll say amidst the 'old' fics from 2021, Day 8 - Screaming (Star Wars) would be the angstier one (or most horrible one ig xd).
But as far as recent fic go... While I haven't finished writing it bcs its wordcount exploded in my face, I already plotted / drafted it a few months ago and I know the ending, so I'll choose:
Batman’s Downfall (To Stand Alone) (Batman)
I noticed my kind of angst doesn’t have much success around these parts 🫠🤣. Oh well. I cherish it all the same :3.
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Sometimes I think I wrote too many fics. It's hard to select one.
Uhhh... My fluffiest works are one shots in Of Feathers and Freedom serie, but they are part of the series so it’s not really an 'ending'.
...
I'll answer for the crackiest story rather than the happiest ending bcs all my finished fics ending are ominous open ending at best xd.
The Blob Adventures Of Excentrics Jedi (Star Wars)
Because it's cute blob drawings of our crazy team of OC in taaoej, and I love them (although we are all angst lovers in taaoej, so it's more crack-angst, and we don't know the ending bcs there isn't really one. Not yet at least. Hopefully never).
8. Do you get hate on your fic?
Just my own innervoice as far as I'm aware. But then I've always been rather clueless when people tried to 'hate on me'. The message usually just got lost somewhere in dreamspace immensity, never computing.
I've found the fandoms communities really welcoming at the very least!!
9. Do you write smut?
No.
I don't really enjoy reading smut. Nor romance for the matter. I don't think I'd enjoy writing it.
But maybe I'll try one day, for the sake of experimenting all genres.
10. Do you write crossovers?
I never did. I don't know why. Maybe I just never felt the need to mix characters and universes. There are amazing crossovers out there though, so who knows, maybe one day I'll try one.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not that I'm aware of. In all honesty, I don't think my works are nearly popular enough to get stolen xd.
My writing style isn’t that good yet, and my dislike of romance when the majority of the fandom community is ship-powered means I end up in a corner quite niche. (A corner I love, that being said. Yay Crack, Angst and Gen~)
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
No, but maybe I'll translate some of mine in french someday. Be it only so that I do write fiction in my native language from time to time.
Anyone that wanna translate my fics, feel free to!!
13. Have you ever co-written a fic?
Yes, To Fly Free Under The Morning Sun (Star Wars)!!
I’m still waiting for my co-author @purpleopossum to come back to me / get back in star wars mood to continue that one. 🫠
Can’t say my hopes are that high up after all this time, but it’s the redemption | healing part of the serie and I don’t really have fun writing alone redemption | healing part... i prefer doing the whole mayhem that create the injury in the first place. And with how long some of my fics hiatus are (and I got no excuse for those xd), it’s only fair for me to wait. (I did write more other works for the dragon Vader serie in the meantime xd).
I made an oath to myself to never leave a work unfinished though, so we’ll see. If in several years purple still doesn’t wish to continue it, or if she inform me she is dropping the story, I’ll try to make some kind of ending. It’s part of the game i guess.
Alternatively, the The Amazing Adventures Of Excentrics Jedi universe is a group of star wars OCs that we made together with @pat-the-togorian , @asteral-feileacan , @ct2002-rema and Xylian. I don’t know if that count as co-writing? We usually write our OCs pov.
But in all cases, co-writting is very fun and I’d definitely do it again if other opportunities arise in the future.
14. What‘s your all-time favourite ship?
The absence of ship is my all-time favorite ship. Otherwise, "main character / digging their own grave" would be my 'favorite ship' since I tend to synch with idiots snarky jerks disasters.
15. What’s the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
To Fly Free Under The Morning Sun (Star Wars) that I mentioned for question 13? 🤣
More seriously, I'll answer On the Edge of Twilight (Star Wars)
Because it's my vent fic. I know the main plot line, I vaguely know the current arc, but no one can predict where the next arc will go. It's all pure impulse and while I have a vague idea of 'ending', I refuse to plan a path towards it. This fic specifically, I want to keep pure impulse. So I'd love for it to become some kind of "The NeverEnding Story". :3
16. What’s your writing strengths?
I write.
No seriously, it's not something I did four years ago appart from vent poems here and there. Writing is in itself a huge writing strenght!
Otherwise I'm also a bottomless well of idea. It's pretty neat.
17. What’s your writing weaknesses?
... romance?
Or dialogues. Lastly I have a lot of frustration around the transition from dialogue / transition / dialogue. I feel like I'm crap at properly timing that.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
It's fun. I do it for games sometimes. Since apparently writing normally is not chllenging enough for my brain sometimes. It did teach me bits of mando'a.
Recently for Sēċan (Star Wars) I decided last minute to put the whole droid dialogue in morse, and I regret none of it.
I'm usually only doing it for one shots though, and never 'official existing' languages until now.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Star wars :p
20. Favourite fic you’ve ever written?
Now that's another hard question, how am I supposed to select one.
I'm gonna answer the whole Of Feathers And Freedom (Star Wars) serie. Bcs wings. :3
Tag time~ (if you wish to)
@purpleopossum @pat-the-togorian @cinderfeather @beguilewritesstuff @purple-iris @dreaminghour @ravenite-void @trickstress333 @bluntblade @doctorgeekery @stewardofningishzida @jenae-0 @trickstress333 @kittonafoxgirl @pastelcourage @salparadiselost @kefalion @charlottevader @ravenstakeflight @starr234 @aelaer @sarcasticfirefighter @mckiwi @linzerj @sonderwalker @exomal @tonhalszendvics @nephilimswitchlight @firejay112 @only-here-for-the-star-wars @ajedilikehisfather @makaronik @chickadeechickadoo @dirtkid123 @numerousbees1106 @akizumy @25centsoda @udekai @wendingways @silvereddaye @in-company-of-misery @wisechaosglitter @kuraiarcoiris @alright-anakin @wyvunn you're more than welcome to join on the interview fun!! (Or to ignore the tagging if not interested xd).
I know I tagged. I lot of people. Some of you may recognise my pseud, some may not. But I thought it would be interesting to hear the answer of the various authors with whom I interacted on ao3 over the years, so I went and digged up those with tumblr I could find from my inbox 🤣
(Hopefully I didn’t bother any of you >.< - otherwise I apologize. Same for if I accidentally tagged a non-writer.)
I'd love to hear your answers! 🎶

20 Questions for Writers
Thanks for the tag @cacodaemonia I think I've done this one too, but some things have changed because I've written more. :D
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
I have 97 works posted on ao3. About 15 of them are fics and the rest are art, ficlets, drabbles, or combinations.
2. What's your total AO3 word count?
My total count is 257,934 with nearly 100k for this year already!
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Star Wars, mostly The Clone Wars, but also The Bad Batch, SW Legends, and combinations.
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
the longest klick (TBB, Mayday&/Crosshair)
say you feel the same way too (TCW, Echo/Fives)
cabin fever (Star Wars, Cody/Obi-Wan)
codpiece chaos (TCW, Echo/Fives)
nearly a skywalker (TCW, Gen, lots of Rex!)
5. Do you respond to comments?
Yes! Sometimes it just takes me a while.
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Hmmm, I tend to not write fics that end angsty. I usually like to have my angst with a happy ending. I honestly can't think of any... *shurg*
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Ummm, most of them???Maybe the longest klick because Mayday deserves so much better? I mean, they all do, but he just pulls at my heart strings so heavily.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
No yet! *crosses fingers*
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Heh, heh, heh, I doooo! It's mostly clone/clone and I give them a hard time *snickering*, but I did write Ahsoka and an OC, a while back. I've never posted it and I'm not sure I ever will. I've got to get everything else out of my hear first.
10. Do you write crossovers?
Other than within Star Wars? Nope, not yet.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
*knocks on wood again* Not yet!
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Nope, but that would be really cool!
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
I have and it was a hoot to write. <3
14. What’s your all time favorite ship?
Probably Echo/Fives, but Codywan was my gateway drug to tcw. I think Finn/Poe was the first Star Wars ship though.
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Want to finish? Uhhh, all of them, but the 'want to finish' and the 'probably never will' are two separate piles.
16. What are your writing strengths?
Not my wrists. XP Ummm, I really like to do research and try to make Star Wars things seem more plausible. Is that a strength? *shrug*
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Writing in the wrong tense for paragraphs or even pages without realizing it. Typing.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
I like to write bits and pieces of Mando'a and other Star Wars languages (some I make up), but unless I have the other person confused and then the whole thing translated, I feel like it's harder to read.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Pacific Rim (never published) ... although, now that I think about it, I could just post it anonymously? *thinky face*
20. Favorite fic you’ve written?
A toss up between the longest klick and in the wake of darkness
Tagging!
No pressure tagging for @seascribbling @flowerparrish @frostbitebakery @insertmeaningfulusername @spiritofthenortheners and anyone else who wants to take a crack it it.
The template is under the cut.

20 Questions for Fic Writers
I was looking through Tumblr for "writer tag game" because I had fun and found this one, so even though I haven't been tagged I'm gonna answer and tag @angelosearch, @cynic-view-ahead, @summonerluna and @irishais :D
1. How many works do you have on AO3? 29.
2. What's your total AO3 word count? 190,480.
3. What fandoms do you write for? FFVIII only.
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos? Us (94) Oxygen (63) Latch (48) Enchantment (45) Proof (26)
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? I try to respond to everyone, because I think it's the bare minimum to at least thank someone who spent their time to tell me what they thought (good or bad).
6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? I think Alien Nation is the one. This is one of my most ignored stories and I love it so much, though.
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? I have lots of happy ending. I think the happiest still has to come. If I have to choose, though, I'd say Playful ever after.
8. Do you get hate on fics? In the past I did. Nothing too bad, though. It's pretty normal if someone doesn't like what or how I write - if I wanted everybody to like me, I would have been born a pizza. Or Nutella.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? I'm starting too, the kind with lots and lots of emotions.
10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written? Nope.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen? Yeah, it was my first Italian fic. Totally not recommended.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated? Nope.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before? No.
14. What's your all-time favourite ship? The one I'm writing for :) Also give me some Auron/Lulu and I'll be a happy girl.
15. What's a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will? My Italian ones.
16. What are your writing strengths? I've been told I'm good with details and fluff.
17. What are your writing weaknesses? Procrastination...
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic? If it works in the context of the story, go for it. 19. First fandom you wrote for? I wouldn't call it a fandom. I was 13, maybe 14, and tried to write a sequel to a novel my grandmother gave me as a gift.
20. Favourite fic you've ever written? Remember.

20 questions for fic writers
thankyou @poetic-poltergeist for the tag!! <3 (starting a new thread as the other was getting looooong.)
okay let's see
1) How many works do you have on AO3
23 currently!
2) What's your total AO3 word count?
245,631 and counting...... (as i new chapter of a fic should be going up any day now)
3) What fandoms do you write for?
Starfield, Deus Ex, Vampyr, Dishonored, Thief and one for Destiny2 at the moment.
4) Top five fics by kudos?
Savages, Paradigm Shift, To See Beyond Forever, Starry Starry Night and Take me Away from All this Death. (would love to see some of my Starfield fics get in here by next year! ).
5) Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
I always do, comments fuel me! Seriously the serotonin boost from getting a comment is often exactly what i need to keep writing.
6) What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Shattered Reflections i'd say. (but chapter wise, it's my new one Chasing Your Star...)
7) What’s the fic you write with the happiest ending?
That will be.... [redacted].
8) Do you get hate on fics?
First fic i published on Ao3 got a unsolicited crit. One point was valid but the other i thought was unwarranted...and in fact incorrect anyway. But other than that, i've had nothing but positive comments.
9) Do you write smut?
haha.....oh ...OH YES. But always with plot and in context of story.
10) Do you write crossovers?
Yes i have one crossover right now - Emerging Shadow (Dishonored/Thief), but i plan another -( deux ex/ Assassin's Creed).
11) Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Probably by AI.....
12) Have you ever had a fic translated?
No, i dont believe so.
13) Have you ever co-written a fic before?
No, i'm too much of a control freak for story telling, though i do work with others to work out plot points sometimes.
14) What’s your all-time favourite ship?
Named ships? Emsider and McReid. (also Sam Coe& Spacefarer).
15) What’s the WIP you hope to finish but doubt you ever will?
Im not jinxing anything. I WILL finish all my fics. It just might take a while...But i doubt i will write any more for the Destiny fandom.
16) What are your writing strengths?
Story telling and scene setting I'd like to think.
17) What are your writing weaknesses?
Expanded grammar and finishing stories.
18) Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
I try to find someone who speaks the language natively to help me with any foreign dialogue i might add.
19) First fandom you wrote for?
Xena, Warrior Princess. Back in my Live Journal days.
20) Favourite fic you’ve ever written? I have to admit i have a soft spot for Obsidian Dreams and Take me Away from All this Death. But i am absolutely loving writing Chasing Your Star Until I Find Home. I tag - @lakritzwolf @eridanidreams @bearlytolerant @atonalginger @fangbangerghoul @booburry @toxiclizardwrites @aro-pancake @aislingdmdt @onewhoturns @lisa-and-shadow @thatsgoodsquishy0 @despicablediet @themortalscout

20 Questions for Writers
tagged by: @grand-magnificent thx :3
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
163.
2. What's your total AO3 word count?
450,140
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Professional wrestling right now, obviously, which for the rest of the questions I pretend is the only thing I write to stay on brand. I also still write the occasional fic for my old fandoms or films you've never heard of, partcipating in exchanges makes you write a lot of random stuff.
4. What are your top five fics by kudos?
Just giving you the ones for Wrestling:
Kayfabe (missing that old man hours, kayfabe breaking cmjf)
Top Guys. In. (cmftr DP)
He Gets Papi (rhea/dom pissfic) - wow that one's got a long tail huh?
Welcome to the BCC (yutamox hole initiation ceremony)
Making Amends (punk asks HHH politely to be allowed back into wwe)
5. Do you respond to comments?
Yes. I rarely ever have anything to say in response unless it's a question and I feel silly when I say "thank you for noticing what I tried to put down" but I like to let people know I appreciate their comments, because I very much do.
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Probably that CMJF noncon fic which had everyone miserable and worse by the end of it. Also all of the PunkRaven stuff, which never has much of an improvement of the situation in sight.
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
idk, I don't write a lot of longfic anyway and I think most of the PWP stuff that's not super messed up ends with people showering together or falling asleep next to each other which is a pretty happy ending as far as sex goes.... oh wait, it's the HHH fic where Punk implicitly returns to WWE for his efforts (I guess here too it is up to the reader whether this is a happy ending or more of a "came back wrong")
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Only once for the underage cmjf fic, and I think it was the same person grand-magnificent mentions ironically. Maybe it helps that the kind of wrestling fans that I can see being haters have been condemned to writing incest fic so they don't have much ground to stand on.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Yeah. All of it. I also actively hate writing it most of the time. I enjoy writing mood, tension, the build and the aftermath but not much of the actual in and out.
10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
Don't think I ever have, no. I never got the appeal of "what if Goku met Superman" and I am clearly not funny enough to pull of something like WWE meets Succession.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not to my knowledge.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Yeah but not Wrestling fandom, it was Dune.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Nope. Actually, if you want to do that, hit me up.
14. What's your all-time favorite ship?
All-time ship is a bit wild if I've only been writing this fandom for a little over a year but it's PunkJoe. This bad boy can fit so much love. And kink. And H/C.
15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Hey now, mind your words.
16. What are your writing strengths?
People have told me it's physical sensations, descriptions that give a visual image even if you've got a bit of the old aphantasia, and discomfort.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Dialogue. Introspection. Writing out feelings. Not using the same words all the fucking time.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
idk... don't, unless you speak the language or have a beta that does? I guess now it's easy to just google translate it as a reader but with older literature it always throws me out... am I supposed to just speak latin and french to get what you're having your characters say?
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Harry Potter like almost two decades ago.
20. Favorite fic you've written?
I am still very proud of the Smoke and Mirrors PunkRaven fic. I could probably improve it a bit now that I actually have access to the whole feud and learned more about them but it's surprisingly on point just from my gut feelings.

Twenty Questions for Fic Writer
Tagged by @pelopides
How many works do you have on ao3?
67. I would have more if I transferred more LJ stuff over, but I am largely embarrassed by those works.
What's your total ao3 word count?
282,047 words.
What fandoms do you write for?
I am going to list the major ones, but I dipped my toes in The Borgias, The Magicians, and Good Omens. But the ones I’ve written the most for are:
A Song of Ice and Fire - George R. R. Martin
From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series
IT (Movies - Muschietti)
Supernatural (TV 2005)
The Vampire Diaries (TV)
What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
you call my name and it feels like home (1,197 kudos)
i grow green with hope (599 kudos)
desire holds me like a knife (493 kudos)
twenty-one grams (493 kudos)
The Whispering Ghosts (Left You Out In The Cold) (433 kudos)
Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
The most honest answer is: I try, but sometimes my neurotic anxious parts of my brain take over and I don’t reply. As a commenter and reader, I personally don’t mind if the author doesn’t reply back because I don’t wish to be perceived, but I’m also not sure what the etiquette is anymore. Do they also want me to reply to their reply? Is this a conversation now? I think AO3 changed a lot of fandom norms and expectations because I don’t remember being this conscious of myself and comment threads were the norm. But anyway, the tl;dr of it: I try and work up the nerve and sometimes I fail, sometimes I do it months later, sorry!
What is a fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
I tend to write ambiguous to hopeful endings, so this was hard to determine, so I think it is a tie between The Whispering Ghosts (Left You Out In The Cold) and Watch Your Step (You'll Need A Miracle). The former because the entire fic is bleak and the ending is essentially more of the same, while the latter is about the emotional shattering of someone post-assault.
What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
This question is very subjective because I tend to write things that might not be considered happy for some people, but are happy to me. In a more traditional sense, twenty-one grams feels the most happy because the rest of the fic is a grueling exercise in grief and eventually Eddie is brought back to life and everyone can move forward, so the relief is palpable. But on an iddy level, my favorite happy ending is we could live forever in each other’s faces because I want Sam and Dean to have a baby and rule together in Hell forever and ever.
Do you get hate on fics?
Yes. I used to get a lot of angry comments in the From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series fandom, and recently I had a lot of disgruntled people on my most recent fic. It could be my long-term anonymous hater, but who knows.
Do you write smut?
Yes! I used to not be able to and I thought I would never be capable of it, but I feel pretty good about my smut writing skills.
Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
I did back in the day, but it was largely Supernatural/One Tree Hill crossovers because I was sixteen and afraid to admit I shipped Sam/Dean. I do muse about crossovers from time to time because I want my faves to meet and I think a lot about how they would interact, but those stories are often low priority for me.
Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Apparently! Someone was reposting fics on Wattpad and one of my Richie/Eddie fics was reposted. It was deleted before I could report it myself.
Have you ever had a fic translated?
A couple! It was an interesting and flattering experience.
Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
I can't do that because I don't speak any other languages.
Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Yes, with @ladyculebras. We often do round robin experiments and exercises, and we posted devour me (if you really think that you can stomach me) because the exercise kept going and we finished the piece.
What's your all-time favorite ship?
Sam/Dean is one of my longest running OTPs, so that feels like the obvious answer, but I never stop feeling feelings for my OTPs, they tend to go into hibernation until I am attacked with feelings and I spiral. Some of my OTPs I don’t write fic for, but still have an immense amount of feelings for. Right now off the top of my head, the OTPs swirling around in my brain at any given time are: Sam/Dean, Louis/Lestat (and Louis/Lestat/Claudia), Seth/Richie, Sam/Tara, Richie/Eddie (and Losers Club OT7), Quentin/Eliot, Geralt/Yennefer, Coriolanus/Lucy Gray/Serjanus, Katniss/Peeta (and Katniss/Peeta/Haymitch), Archie/Betty/Jughead/Veronica.
What's a wip you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?
I have a huge graveyard of unfinished WIPs for fandoms past that I am sure I will never finish, so it is easier to answer that there are a few WIPs I really do want to finish some day. My exit from the IT fandom wasn’t really something I wanted to do, but needed to do for my mental health, but I hope to return and finish some fics when I have more distance. From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series is the fandom I have the most written in and I would like to finish my longer stories in the future.
What are your writing strengths?
I love writing prose and my descriptions are very lush. I also have a strong handle on emotion and using acts of intimacy to push the story forward, but also explore character. I’m good at character and relationship studies. I think I’m adept at writing hot sex scenes. I also have a flair for horror in ways I don’t often employ, but love when I get to.
What are your writing weaknesses?
I need to learn how to not get stuck in my own head and trip all over myself and my insecurities. My biggest hurdle is myself and my own mental hangups. I need to learn that it's okay to experiment and try new things and that I don’t need to please everyone, or be liked, I just need to please myself. I also need to work on not being afraid to write longer stuff and embrace that my brain has a lot of ideas that will take time to write
First fandom you wrote for?
Harry Potter. I still have the handwritten notebook pages from when I was 11.
Favorite fic you've written?
I can’t answer this question because if I look at my fics, I will see the flaws. I will say I am proud of everything I finish because it’s often a battle of wills.

20 Questions for Writers
Thanks for the tag @lyntergalactic (like ten years ago, sorryyyy) and @spiritofthenortheners 💜💜💜
I played this back in December-ish, so some stuff hasn't changed but I'm happy to do it again!
1. How many works do you have on AO3? 16! Which is twice as many as I had last time I played this, woohoo!
2. What's your total AO3 word count? 254,307
3. What fandoms do you write for? So far, a couple different versions of Star Wars (mostly TCW) and also Stranger Things
Click to see the rest so I don't take over your dash!
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
Maybe 10% Better (Stranger Things, Steddie)
Trying to Escape What You Can't Let Go (TCW, genfic)
Less Talk More Rokk (Stranger Things, Steddie)
Plans (Star Wars: Rebels, Kalluzeb)
TIED FOR FIFTH: A Flimsi Excuse (TCW, QuinFox) and Built on Bones and Middens (TCW, QuinFox)
5. Do you respond to comments? Hell yeah!
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? A Mandalorian Comes Riding (TCW, Jangobi) is a pretty rough one.
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? Most of them Let's say Picture (Im)perfect (TCW, Waxer/Boil)
8. Do you get hate on fics? Not yet? 😬
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? I do! I really love to write smut that's fun and full of banter and a little bit of push-and-pull.
10. Do you write crossovers? Nah, not my thing
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen? Nope
12. Have you ever had a fic translated? Not yet, but I'm open to the idea!
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before? No, I don't know if I'd ever want to subject anyone to that 🤣
14. What’s your all time favorite ship? I am a ship slut not the sort to get locked down, but Destiel held my singular attention for several years in a row.
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? As I think I said last time, a Foxiyo fic that I accidentally outlined to death. I think if I let it breathe I may resurrect it one day.
16. What are your writing strengths? Dialogue, I think, but I may be biased because I also think that's the most fun to write.
17. What are your writing weaknesses? I think I often get too caught up in what a character is doing and don't spend enough time on what they're thinking and feeling.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? I've done a bit of Mando'a but I think it should just be a smattering, if at all. Otherwise, just write it in English and say that it's in [whatever language]. Like in Hunt for Red October where they zoom in on that guy's face and then zoom back out and everyone is just speaking English with bad Russian accents.
19. First fandom you wrote for? Star Wars: Rebels
20. Favorite fic you’ve written? At the moment I'll say Built on Bones and Middens, the QuinFox mystery fic I wrote for the 2023 Clone Bang. It's my longest fic to date and I'm really pleased with how it turned out!

20 Questions for fic Writers!
Okay so, I was tagged by @outtoshatter and I'm just going to take a swing at this. Here we go.
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
Currently 22.
2. What’s your total AO3 word count?
202,411.
3. What fandoms do you write for?
I mainly write for Dungeons and Daddies, Nark specifically. But I also have a couple in there for the Teen Wolf Sterek fandom.
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
But You Have Heard of Me [ Teen Wolf, M, Wc: 82,014] (my baby!) The Taste of Perfume [DnDads, M, Wc: 58,717] (wip) Sudoku [DnDads, G, Wc: 5,226] Uno Attack [Dndads, G, Wc: 5,717] A Consuming Faith [Dndads, E, Wc: 33,963] (My baby wip! I'm aiming for another 80k with this one.)
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
Absolutely I do! If someone takes the time out of their day to not only read my silly little stories, but also comment on them, I will absolutely reply! Unless they're mean I guess? I haven't had any mean/rude comments yet so knock on wood. lol
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
I love angst. I write it into a lot of things. But as far as endings go... hmm. Well I guess that title would currently go to one of my drabbles, A Done Deal [DnDads, G, Wc: 100] but without giving away spoilers one of my wips is going to take that title as soon as I get around to writting it lol.
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Oh, But You Have Heard of Me [ Teen Wolf, M, Wc: 82,014]. My baby~! Happy ending and maybe one day it will have a happy sequel.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
I feel like I'm going to jinx myself by saying no. I haven't recieved any rude or hateful comments on any of my fics. Not even when I posted on LJ.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
I am not confident when it comes to writing smut. I used to write a lot of it back on LJ. Now I just Fade To Black, but I do have plans to maybe write some for a wip. But idk we will see when we get there.
10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?
Nope! I wrote a fusion fic, But You Have Heard of Me [ Teen Wolf, M, Wc: 82,014] but no crossovers.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not that I am aware of.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
I had I believe 2 fics translated on LJ, but not on Ao3
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Hahaha, yes! On LJ my irl bestie and I wrote a fic together! It was very cute, we each did a chapter following one half of the ships pov. I'd love to do it again some day it was super fun! What I really wanna do is get a bunch of different writers involved in doing a collaboration where the characters are stuck waking up in different timelines, so each chapter could be a different one-shot by a different author but they all connect. I think it would be fun.
14. What’s your all time favourite ship?
Sora/Riku. I don't write for this ship but I will fight god about them. I've been obsessed with them since I was 12 and played Kingdom Hearts. I have fics I've been re-reading for alkjsdflks way too long omg. When I played Kh3 and Riku showed up I screamed so loud it scared my partner. You can pry them from my cold dead fingers okay.
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Hahaha, I just recently posted this fic to my Ao3. A Divine Move [Teen Wolf, M, 8,676] Stiles is a horror game character (based off games like Until Dawn and The Blair Witch Project) and Derek is from a dating sim (Based off Hunnypop lol) It was going to get an E rating cause I had some absolutely slasher ideas for Stiles game and the plot was loosely adapted from Wreck-It-Ralph. So, maybe one day I'll get the inspiration back, but as of now it's just not there.
16. What are your writing strengths?
I have been told I have a very clear writing voice and that I'm very good at setting a scene and showing it to the reader. I think my main strength is my humor. lol I find myself very funny.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
A lack of confidence alksdfjalksd. I get so anxious trying to make sure that the movie in my head is being translated into word correctly that I sometimes over do things. Also I have the absolute worst grammar, and spelling omg.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
If I don't speak the language enough to be confident that I'm using the words correctly I just do the "They said in language" kinda thing.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Okay, lmao. Okay okay. It was for the Gorillaz back when Demon Days had just come out.
20. Favourite fic you’ve written?
My two babies that I'm the most proud of are
But You Have Heard of Me [ Teen Wolf, M, Wc: 82,014]
I spent a year writting it and I made several friends because of it. It is my baby and I love it. I re-read it and still laugh at it.
A Consuming Faith [Dndads, E, Wc: 33,963]
I have been putting so much work into this fic and it's really pushing me as a writer. I have been obsessed with cult and demons since I was young, probably too young lol, so this is just basically 3 of my hyper-fixations coming together in a fun way. I have big plans for this fic and I'm very excited about it. I've been working on it for 7 months now, and I'm really hoping I can finish it before the end of the year.
Thanks for the tag! I'm going to tag some people and maybe they'll play along too, no pressure though and I have no clue what I'm doing so sorry if you didn't want to be tagged. @evanesdust @nottoolateforthegame @siogosho @missanniewhimsy @calamity-unlocked

20 Questions For Writers
I was tagged by the lovely @takadasaiko!
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
I just finished posting my 238th fic! It's one of my few longer ones, so I've been putting the chapters up one at a time.
Cupcakes and Kisses, a Bucky/Darcy bakery AU, and behold, a moodboard!
Tumblr media
2. What’s your total AO3 word count?
830,043
3. What fandoms do you write for?
MCU almost exclusively, though I did post one Harry Potter fic awhile back, and I've got a couple WIPs for other fandoms that may never get posted.
Tumblr media
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
Yes, and I love doing so! The reader feedback is one of my very favorite parts of fandom, because they get to tell me what they liked, and I get to be super happy about that. Often times a reader will notice something I didn't even put together in my own writing, or they will love a line that I personally thought was amazing, and nothing beats that! It's just a circle of love, and I live for it.
6. What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
This one is definitely the saddest, because there is no After.
The Price We Paid, in which Tony activates a Coffin Protocol in the suit, which is exactly what you think, featuring MCD.
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
I mostly write fluff and shenanigans, so really, you could pick at random and it would probably be a super happy ending.
Though I think I could recommend several from my Iron Family series, since most of those are fix-its.
Tumblr media
8. Do you get hate on your fic?
I have once or twice, but that is something I do not tolerate anywhere in my fandom life. I have anon disabled, and I moderate comments, because this is a fun space for me. Fandom is where I go to be excited about these adorable little blorbos with my fandom friends, and hate has no place there. Neither does condescension or meanness, so I have absolutely no problem with deleteing that from my life.
9. Do you write smut?
Wouldn't you like to know.
10. Do you write crossovers?
I don't think I ever have, but I have definitely read it and enjoyed it!
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Yes, actually, @newnewyorker93 and I had a collab fic stolen. Luckily one of our readers spotted it and it was taken down.
I Went to the County Fair and All I Got Was This Alpaca is the fic in question, and it has alpaca-snuggling, so I highly recommend.
Tumblr media
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
I know I've given permission at least once, but I admit I don't recall if it did get translated or not.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic?
Many times, and I love it! Writing is so much easier with a writing buddy! I'm always open to a good collab.
14. What’s your all-time favorite ship?
Pepperony. I just... I just love them. I love a lot of ships from a lot of fandoms, but Pepperony is the one that I've been with the most. The most fanfic, the most interaction with other fans, the most feels.
Tumblr media
15. What’s the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Well, I never say never with this kind of thing, really. It often takes me years to finish something, but I have finished a good number of things that did in fact take me years to get from idea to fully formed and written fic.
16. What are your writing strengths?
Definitely dialogue and one-shots. I cannot plot for the life of me, so I largely stick to what I'm good at, and I'm happy there. (This is where co-writing is amazing, because other people can plot when I can't!)
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
I've done so several times, but it's usually single words or phrases that I've trusted Google Translate for. Which I know can be sketchy, so I try to limit that.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
The one I'm still writing for, the MCU!
20. Favorite fic you’ve ever written?
Definitely can't pick a favorite kid, but I think I do have one that I've reread the most.
Save Another Life (It Will Be Worth It) is a Bruce-flavored remix of How To Save A Life (It Just Might Be Yours), in which the Winter Soldier finishes a mission with baby Tony Stark in tow, and then raises the baby as his own while his conditioning falls apart.
In that fic, there were several cameo appearances by other Avengers as kids, and Bruce was the saddest one. When a couple readers had questions and comments about it, it sparked the remix in which Bruce gets saved too. Made a moodboard for it too!

20 Questions for Writers
Felt a little like rambling through some answers about writing and AO3. Feel free to play if you're up for it!
Tumblr media
How many works do you have on AO3?
200 at the moment, though of those there are a few that are prompt challenge works because they were hardly enough to be considered a full story on their own.
2. What’s your total AO3 word count?
985,325 words and counting, which makes me want to pull the word counts from the various WIPs that haven't made it to AO3 yet but ♫ patience is a virtue ♫ (that I'm clearly struggling with at the moment).
3. What fandoms do you write for?
I've written for the Hiddleston, Evans, Brühl, Mikkelsen fandoms - and have a few WIPs that haven't made it to the point of being posted yet but are in development. (And always am open to prompts though I haven't posted anything about the word prompt challenge in awhile... hmm)
4. What are your top five fics by kudos?
You've Only Just Arrived (actor!TWH) Unsettled (actor!TWH au) The Long Journey Home (TFATWS Baron Zemo/Sokovian reader/Bucky Barnes) A Turn of the Knife (Ransom Drysdale/ Knives Out prequel) Close Quarters (actor!TWH)
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
Yes. Nearly always and likely far too soon after they're posted. Comments are fantastic for learning what pieces of the work really resonated, or what needs to be amended going forward because it didn't land the way that was intended.
6. What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Where we've left off in Unsettled probably allows that story to claim the title (which arguably that story wins angstiest anyway), but standing alone I'd say there's a fair few oneshots that could qualify. If you consider snippets of What If, there's one from the LJH world that would win hands down, but I don't consider those snippets as full fics...
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Completed works - probably Lakeside or The Journalist (proper). Where we've left off in You've Only Just Arrived is setting us up for the happy ending that will inevitably occur.
8. Do you get hate on your fic?
I've had a couple comments that stemmed more from misunderstanding than seemed grounded in hate. It was easily clarified and the issue remedied (at least for the first thing that springs to mind).
9. Do you write smut?
Yup.
10. Do you write crossovers?
Haven't had the opportunity yet, but never say never.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Yes. Quite a shitty feeling when your work is posted without your consent. Please don't do that.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Not to my knowledge.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic?
The Heart of a Villain (jaguar-villain!TWH)
14. What‘s your all-time favorite ship?
I very much enjoy creating [insert character here]/ reader (or original character) ships within various fandoms. My current favorite ship I'm working on isn't even posted yet, but head over heels for villain!Brühl. In terms of a ship I'll always love, though I haven't written for it, is Evelyn & Rick O'Connell from The Mummy (1999)/ The Mummy franchise.
15. What’s the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Never say never. I've had a few peter out from my attention being drawn elsewhere, but fully intend on going back and finishing out what I started.
16. What’re your writing strengths?
I'd estimate that when the dialogue flows it flows really well? When I reread that's what I tend to enjoy the most, along with the emotional connection to the characters. Then again, having lived in those worlds in order to write them... biased opinion. So very biased.
17. What’s your writing weaknesses?
It varies fic to fic honestly. Sometimes the scene doesn't want to be described and it's like pulling teeth to get anything in there. I'd classify the umpteen ongoing WIPs as a weakness as well. The urge to chase the other characters, the other story, and let the ones active/in progress languish... it's something I'd like to improve on, at least.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
I've used it as a storytelling element in a few works at this point. I tend towards including the translation in { brackets } for clarification - so long as the characters know the language they're speaking or overhearing. (And please please if you spot anything that's not correct I'm always open to amending the errors!)
19. First fandom you wrote for?
First ever isn't posted here, or to AO3 either. I doubt I'll ever pull the docs and notebooks together to transcribe the Backstreet Boys works - but I suppose never say never holds in that situation too. First that is here and AO3, after I gave myself permission to start writing again, is You've Only Just Arrived.
20. Favorite fic you’ve ever written?
Too difficult a question. There's too much of me in the words, in the characters. I love each of them for varying reasons.

20 Questions for Writers
tagged by @theglasscat. I decided I don't really mind if anyone who knows me in real life sees this, so, here we go. Thanks!
1. How many works do you have on A03?
I have 22!
2. What is your A03 word count?
It's 66,612 but that's not super accurate because it includes a fic that I'm listed as a co-author on but didn't do most of the writing for. So the actual number is something like 25,000 lol
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Lots of various versions of Sherlock Holmes (the Paternoster Gang, Geordi and Data from Star Trek, etc.) I have a few older fics from the Carmilla days, and some newer ones from Psychonauts and Professor Layton.
4. What are your top 5 fics by Kudos?
The Perceivers - Data/Geordi, Star Trek TNG [2014]
and all your streetfighting years won't help you anymore - Jenny/Vastra, Doctor Who [2017]
Adoration - Jenny/Vastra, Doctor Who [2020]
Cold - Jenny/Vastra, Doctor Who [2014]
but got it just don't get it - Jenny/Vastra, Doctor Who [2018]
5. Do you respond to comments?
Yes! It might take me a while, but I'll literally put "respond to A03 comments" on my to-do list if I get the email notification.
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
what makes love the exception? - Jenny Flint/Madame Vastra, Doctor Who [2018]
I was clearly going through something with this one but I have no idea what it was. There was supposed to be another story that would resolve the angst but I never got around to it. So now they're stuck like that forever! Oh well.
7. What is the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
i'll drive us into outer space / where we can't hear what people say - Bob Zanotto/Helmut Fullbear, Psychonauts 2 [2021]
I'm a sucker for gay old men with angsty time gaps / fake deaths. I was glad to write something happy for these two beyond what was explored in the game.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Nah but I'm sure it's just because I've never been big enough.
9. Do you write smut? If so which kind?
Not really sure what "which kind" is getting at here. But yeah absolutely. Write the fic you want to see in the world. I started writing fic because I never could find the specific scenarios I wanted. And if that gives me a reputation in certain circles for being horny, so be it 😅 (also, my top fic by hits is "Jenny's on her period when Vastra eats her out" that I wrote at nineteen years old, so, y'know. it brings the hits.)
10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest crossover you've ever written?
Generally no, but 60 for 60, where I put the Paternoster Gang in the Sherlock Holmes canon, is technically a crossover.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not to my knowledge. I have had a Steam guide stolen. The instant I posted it, it was immediately farmed by a bunch of AI gamer guide sites, which was annoying and apparently impossible to prevent.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Yes, I had a fic translated into Russian once! Unfortunately I found out while writing this post that it looks like it's been taken down.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Yes, sort of. I've discussed prompts and ideas with friends and heavily encouraged them to write.
14. What's your all time favorite ship?
Jenny Flint and Madame Vastra from Doctor Who
15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Oof. I usually won't post a fic unless it's complete. When I started 60 for 60 (a Sherlock Holmes fandom tradition) I thought it would be a fun writing exercise to try to say something interesting in only 60 words. But I also wanted to fully reread each story in order to write about it, and that's been a process. I'll get around to it eventually.
16. What are your writing strengths?
My fics are usually on the shorter side because I enjoy concise characterization and dialogue snippets. Also, I love pulling together lots of different metaphors, connections, and references to other media.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Any sort of plot whatsoever. I don't know that I've ever come up with an original character, either.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
If I'm reading it, much like with song lyrics, my eyes will just skim right over it. I don't mind. I don't think I've tried it myself though.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
I think this is technically Sherlock Holmes, although I used to write wizard rock (Harry Potter fan music) back in the good old days of like. 2011 and that probably also counts
20. Favorite fic you've written?
I think favorite fic to read and favorite fic to write are two different things; I'm going to interpret this as the one with the best writing process:
Sontar the Brave! A challenge to myself to beat the horny allegations and also write Strax-centric fic, because I completely ignored him everywhere else and felt bad. It's not the fic that I think has my strongest writing, but it was a lot of fun to do and came together very quickly compared to my other works.
I'm not going to tag anyone else here because I don't know anyone that'd be interested who wasn't tagged already, but thanks again @theglasscat! Always nice to revisit my stuff.

20 Questions for Writers
Oh This looks fun.. ty for the tag @wordspin-shares !!
How many works do you have on AO3? As of right now, 19 !
What is your total AO3 word count? Well.. you see.. 501,371. ..Huh I the chap I just posted cracked the 500k count ! Congrats to me ig !
What fandoms do you write for? The Hunger Games ! I have some Star Wars fics on my AO3 from years ago, but 96.2% of those words are THG so. hjvbdhvhbddfbh
What are your top five fics by kudos? Sighs really heavily. So I pretty much only write OC stuff for THG, which means that the 3.8% of Star Wars fics are taking 3/5 spots on the top 5 kudos ranking. F in the chat. So starting at the most, we've got: Lessons Unlearned (SW), Is That Really Me? (SW), True Vengeance (THG), Widow's Bite (THG), and Take My Hand (SW). None of those SW fics are over 2k while True Vengeance is probably going to hit 300k by the time it's over... Really interesting to see the statistics of what it looks like to write in a larger fandom vs a smaller fandom tbh :0
Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? Absolutely !! I love reading what people think about my writing. It's neat to see what sticks out to them and how they feel about my characters or plots or everything really ! :D It makes my day to see them <3 Also I love chatting about my writing and the thought processes behind it, so if you every get an essay in response to a comment u left on my fic, uh.. sorrie... bdjfvbhdb
What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? Hm.. Maybe Reparation Clause or True Vengeance? Granted, I haven't written the ending of TrV yet but given that I've killed off all of Ven's arena friends uhh.. yeah. The Bridges We Burn could also possibly fall under this category... Turns out there is no shortage of angst when you write for the child death pageant fandom jdvvbhdf
What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? Now that's a harder question, rip. I do generally try to end my Victor Exchange fics on happier notes (Destined to Fall, Desiderium, The Bridges We Burn). I think Widow's Bite and No Sleep for the Wicked also end on more positive notes..? I wouldn't exactly call it Happy though.. (maybe some of my Star Wars fics would qualify, but I do not feel like talking about them LMAO)
Do you get hate on your fic? No, I'm perfect (insert sunglasses emoji here) /j I don't think I've ever gotten straight-up hate comments on my fics before though. I've gotten some criticisms (one person wasn't happy about the fact that the Games continue after the events of True Vengeance, according to the other fics on my profile hvfhvbf), but nothing that's ever put me down about my writing. ...Do affectionate death threats count as hate? (my friends are Goofy bhjdfbvhd)
Do you write smut? If I do, you'll never know BHVF. Ok for real though, it's not really my jam as a writer. Worth trying probably to step out of my comfort zone, but definitely not something I'd ever post. Sorry guys.
Do you write crossovers? Nah.
Have you ever had a fic stolen? Afaik, no. Not in terms of straight-up ripping the text. I think I've had some ideas borrowed, but like. Who give a fuck LOL. As my one friend likes to say often, there are no new ideas in THG (in terms of things like arenas, quell twists, tribute concepts). What makes something unique is having different authors writing and interpreting said concepts !
Have you ever had a fic translated? No, but I've thought about translating one of mine into French myself as a way of practice.. Never got around to it though, alas.
Have you ever co-written a fic? Ooh, so Technically, no... BUT. I do create tribute characters for SYOT (Submit Your Own Tribute) fics, which is more of a collaboration than co-writing. I also have three fics I've written for the Victor Exchange event in the SYOT Verses discord server where the pov victor characters were created by another author and I wrote their stories (and I received a fic for the victor character I created!) So again, not Reeeally co-writing, but. Collaboration !!! Uhh I was really into Barriss/Ahsoka in high school. FinnRey starwar is also<3
What's your all-time favorite ship? Scratches head uhhhhh.. all time favorite..? If my ocs count, I will say Maritrix (Venatrix and Mariposa) and also Oberon and Dagmara. Otherwise, uhhhhh..... I will be real, it has been a Long time since I've cared about any specific ships to the level where I need to read or write fanfiction about them LOL. I was really into Barriss/Ahsoka back in high school. Also FinnRey starwar<3
What's the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
What are your writing strengths? Ooh I love writing dialogue, and also fight scenes!! Description is fun too c: But yeah, I have been called the fight scene queen by a friend once so I think that counts as a strength LOL.
What are your writing weaknesses? I have no weaknesses I'm perfect (sunglasses emoji). /J bvhjfvfbh.. I'm Slow. I get hung up sometimes on structure/style things while writing and it makes the process take a bit longer. I think also sometimes I tend to meander a bit... I could use a lesson in conciseness jvhhbfv.
Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic? It seems like good practice !! Like I said, I had wanted to translate one of my fics into French as practice.. Not sure if that's what this question is asking, or more of like. A bilingual character or something..? Idk ! I think if it's something that you want to get better at, it would also be wise to get concrit from a native speaker on how natural it sounds.
First fandom you wrote for? Warriorcats ! :3c
Favorite fic you've ever written? I /gen enjoy most of my writing.. I know not all people do and I'm not trying to brag or anything, I just. I pander to myself LMAO. But my Favorite TM has gotta be True Vengeance ;-; It's the longest thing I've ever written (and probably will be for a while), and I've spent every day for the past ~3 years thinking about it, so. That is telling hbvdhbf.

20 Questions For Writers
Yay, thank's for the tag @sinvulkt! I've seen this going round and been hoping to participate.
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
21
2. What’s your total AO3 word count?
81,221 words! That's basically a novel, although split out across many shorter works.
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Almost all my works are Star Wars (Luke & Vader or occasionally prequals Anakin), then DC (Superman). I only have one fic about Superman posted, but I do have quite a few drafts about him.
I also try to write origional works, but I find it a lot harder to create something I feel is as compelling without having 'the iceberg of canon' beneath it. (Granted I've made a lot of progress on trying to write origional works since I started writing fanfic.)
4. What are your top five fics by kudos?
Operation CHEER LUKE UP AFTER BESPIN (Star Wars OT)
This was the first fic I ever posted. I do want to finish this one, but I'm currently facing a challenging plothole, so I keep waiting till I've finished up whatever other WIP I'm working on, and then after finishing a WIP I want a break before coming back to writing a fic again, except that after a break I come up with another WIP idea…
2. Whose Propaganda is it Anyway? (Star Wars OT)
I'm surprised this beat Mistaken Son-dentity, given that it gets quite serious toward the end. But rereading it again I forgot how fun the first part was, and the way the first line eches the last.
3. Mistaken Son-dentity (Star Wars OT)
I love the crack in this one, I often think back on it if I need a way to cheer myself up but don't have access to my Ao3 bookmarks (given that I wrote it it's much easier to play in my head).
4. Skeptics of the Force (Star Wars OT)
I'm very proud of this one. It's the longest thing I've ever finished, and it grew from what I thought would be 7,000 words to 36,000 words. I edit very slowly so that was a Marathon! The plot and foreshadowing was very complex, so by the end it I was playing whack-a-mole with all the inconsistencies.
5. Hide (Star Wars OT)
I'm surprised this one was so well loved, it's very short and I was hesitant to post it because it felt a bit unfinished and like just the start of something. So I'm glad I did!
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
Yes, occasionally I miss some but in general I try to keep up with them. If someone gives me unsolicited constructive critisim I generally don't reply, but I'm reluctant to delete their comment.
6. What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Hmm. So there are several top contenders:
Initially I thought The Haunting of Order-66 might be it, but then I realised that while that was one of the angster ones, it actually had quite a hopeful ending.
Alone is sad, but I don't quite feel it has the gut punch to be the top contender.
Ghost is also pretty up there, but I'd say the ending leans more into horror than 'angst'.
The above two lean into 'not getting there in time', but I think the betrayal in 'Can't Go Home' elevates the angst to another level. (I double-checked The Right Hand of Justice because it Very Much explores betrayal, but the acceptance and teeny tiny thread of hope laced into the end knocks it from first place.)
So Can't Go Home is the winner!
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Hmm. I think Rivers of Lava, Rivers of Life has a beautiful ending.
8. Do you get hate on your fic?
There's a lot of imaginary hate in my head when I'm working through those last few edits before I post something 😅. Occasionally people have said they didn't like some of the ways my characters behaved, but I think it's mostly just being annoyed at them, not at the fic.
9. Do you write smut?
I don't have any posted, but there is some in my drafts. If I edited some I'm not sure if I'd post it under this account or make another I keep separate.
10. Do you write crossovers?
Sort of. I stumbled across the song 'I Know Those Eyes/This Man is Dead' (from The Count of Monte Cristo musical) and instantly went 'This has EPIC Vader/Padme reunion vibes. I promptly went and wrote a fic based on those vibes alone, and then after I finished I watched a film adaptation and read the book so I finally knew what was going on (because I knew if I looked up what was happening before I wrote the fic my perfectionism would get in the way and I'd never end up writing it).
Now, after reading the giant tome that was The Count of Monte Cristo I have an idea for a more accurate crossover called 'The Sith of Monte Cristo,' but (as I predicted) I feel too overwhelmed to write that one.
In addition, when I read Hamlet last year for the first time in my life, I was entranced and sketched out a Luke!Hamlet AU, but I also feel like that might be quite a bit of work so I haven't been motivated enough to write that either.
Finally, The Right Hand of Justice technically falls into the crossover category on Ao3, but it doesn't feel like a myth retelling makes sense to label a 'Crossover'.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
If Ao3 ever been scraped as a dataset into a Large-Language-Model.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Not yet, I can only speak one language. Feel free to offer if you'd like to translate one of mine, though!
13. Have you ever co-written a fic?
Not yet!
14. What‘s your all-time favourite ship?
Um, does 'Superman/anyone' count? I love Clois, but sometimes I wish there were more AUs so it wasn't just Superman/Reporter all the time. I also love a good Clex, the enimies-to-lovers angst is delicious. I am super down for Superbat - it has the double the Identity Shennagins from Clois with a light dose of the Enimies-To-Lovers angst from Clex.
However, this might be weird, but I'm really, really down for Superman/Female Origional Character, just someone fun and quirky and quite fleshed out but a bit different to Lois's personality (because I have read mountains and mountins of Clois and while it's amazing I sometimes get a little bored of the narrowness of reporter life and the 'in love with Superman, in friends with Clark' tropes). I have a few drafts of this, but then I worry that a female OC in fandom won't be very popular so I don't clean them up 😅
15. What’s the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Um. Um. I mean I want to finish 'Cheer Luke Up' and I will, okay, I will. It just could possibly take up to quite a number of years before I get back into it. I'm getting faster at editing, so one day it might not take that much work to finish up. I think it's just past the half-way point at the moment.
16. What’s your writing strengths?
I'm really proud of a lot of the cosmic horror I've done! I think it has a great sense of a slow buildup of dread, and then some really unique and otherworldly horrors, tinged with just the right amount of wonder and awe.
17. What’s your writing weaknesses?
Perfectionism. The initial draft isn't too hard, but it usually takes at a minimum a full week of being mostly focused on it to months for anything above 5k words. It tends to exhaust and frustrate me so much.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
Haven't done it yet (unless you count me makeing up stuff that sounds like Latin or outright using Latin in one or two sentences). As long as it fits well, but I think excessive use of it could frustrate the reader.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Star Wars Origional Trilogy
20. Favourite fic you’ve ever written?
Aaaaaahh. I think Stride of Terror is an awesome 'Vader captures Luke' fic, 'Cheer Luke Up' is the silliest, wildest, unhinged crack, Skeptics of the Force gazes into the abyss, and The Sith in Yellow is a really impressive piece of cosmic horror.
I'm going to say Skeptics of the Force, because out of all my fics when I think about how to bind one into a book it's that one that I want the most.

20 Questions for fic writers
I got tagged by @zombiethingy, thanks so much for the tag pal!!
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
50!! I just hit 50 with my last kinktober fill, it's neat haha. Halfway to 100 XD
2. What’s your total AO3 word count?
728,567. I write... a lot lmao. I would love to hit 900K by the end of the year - I've got an 150K+ fic that's unposted in it's entirety that I'd like to finish by then, we'll see if it happens!
3. What fandoms do you write for?
OFMD, UnDeadwood, Critical Role (Campaign 1), and Leverage. Mostly OFMD and UnDeadwood, though!
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
but don't you shake alone (Leverage, 817 kudos, blows my mind every time)
In Which Mr Sharpe Is In Need Of A Rescue (UnDeadwood, 252 kudos, my first fic ever written!)
i like to call myself wound (but i will answer to knife) (OFMD, 221 kudos)
every bit as feral (UnDeadwood, 178 kudos)
for my life, still ahead, pity me (CR 1, 167 kudos)
And looking at this list, I now realize that all of my top kudos'd fics are whump fics XD
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
Sure do!! I can take a while to respond because of the Executive Dysfunction but I try to always respond.
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Hmmm. Either something from the UnDeadwood whumptober collection (I can't think of one, because I wrote them 3 years ago, but some were damn sad), or the weight of another unearned victory.
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Oooh that's tough! I dunno, I tend to like writing if not happy endings at least hopeful endings. Three that stand out are 1) i will stay, if you dare, 2) i found love where it wasn't supposed to be and 3) Ask Me Anything OFMD SMAU - because they all start out or get super sad (bad breakup, character death, and character death midway respectively) and end super happy.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Not on ao3, but I've gotten anon hate on tumblr for the ships I write after posting fic snippets!
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Yes lmao. It is the majority of what I write right now. As for what kind - ehhh that's hard to say! I write a lot of different stuff! But mainly: smut featuring Jim from OFMD or Clayton from UnDeadwood. I write a lot of trans/nonbinary smut for both characters.
10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?
Nah, not really my thing!
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not to my awareness? Honestly I'm not a big enough fic writer/don't write for popular enough ships/fandoms to really be worried about it.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Nope!
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Sure have! Three published, and another few in the works. I really enjoy co-writing, it's always a fun experience.
@askmeanythingofmd (ao3: ask me anything ofmd) with @yerbamansa
a grave softer than your end with @eldritchjackalope
i found love where it wasn't supposed to be with @lovewithagirl
@lovewithagirl and I are also currently co-writing a really long sad Jim/Ed post s1 fic, and have a few other ideas we're messing around with really casually! We co-write together pretty often <3
14. What’s your all time favorite ship?
Oh this is a tough question haha! That I write for: Jim/Olu and Jim/Ed or some combo of poly ships with them (OFMD), Clayton/Aly/Matthew, Clay/Aly, Clay/Matthew (UnDeadwood).
Other faves include Arthur/Eames (Inception), Parker/Elliot/Hardison (Leverage), and I'm blanking on any others lmao. But those are the big ones!
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Oh man, so many. I have a lot of WIPs that get abandoned tbh. The big ones are both for UnDeadwood - The Lighthouse AU and The Nemesis AU. Both sitting at pretty high word counts (50 and 90K respectively). I'd love to finish both, but not sure it'll happen. Maybe someday, though!
16. What are your writing strengths?
I think I'm good at adding in details? Specifically details around what characters are thinking/feeling/experiencing. Or at least I try to be lol. I find writing dialogue pretty easy, and I think I'm decent at smut and whump writing.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Worldbuilding my beloathed lmao. I find it really boring, so basically never do it.
Detailed settings are also pretty hard for me to write - I don't picture places in my head easily at all, so I basically do as little work as possible with it. Which is something I'd like to work on, because I really enjoy very place/space heavy writing.
Also conciseness XD I am a wordy bastard, and always write way too much lmaooo.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
I've done it using google translate, I try to keep it pretty minimal because I don't actually speak any other languages and I know it's not going to be very accurate.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
UnDeadwood my beloved <3
20. Favorite fic you’ve written?
Ooh, that's really tough. I've gotta go with i threw stones at the stars but the whole sky fell - it holds a really special place in my heart. (If we're talking smut, then probably we both go down together XD) For unpublished stuff, the long sad fic I'm co-writing with @lovewithagirl is probably my favourite thing I'm currently writing.
---
Thanks so much for the tag, this was a lot of fun!! Neat to look back, too.
I'm gonna tag (but only if you feel like it friends!) @yerbamansa, @dragonmuse, @yourlocal-charlatan, and @alfalfairy.
If you didn't get tagged but see this and want to do it, consider yourself tagged!!

20 Questions for Writers
Thanks for the tag @marbled-polecat 💛 Had to look at my stats for this and was in for some surprises 😅
1. How many works do you have on AO3? I have 43 works on AO3, all of those are fics.
2. What's your total AO3 word count? 285,225 (surprised myself here).
3. What fandoms do you write for? Star Wars and recently I’ve written some Call of Duty thanks to my partner playing the game.
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos
Hit and Run (CoD, Soap/Ghost, Rated E)
Under Arrangement (SW, Fox/Rex plus several other relationships, a part of Over the Line which is a fix-it series where Order 66 is prevented. Rated E)
No White Lies (CoD, Soap/Ghost. Rated E)
Come Down With Me (SW, several relationships, Jesse/Kix, Echo/Fives, Fox/Rex…from Over the Line series. Rated E)
After Sunset in Coruscant (from Over the Line too, mostly Fox/Rex. Rated E)
5. Do you respond to comments? Yes! It may take some days but definitely yes.
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? I’d like to say presences since it’s meant to be a horror-vibe Cody/Fox story. I write angst but I also like the ending to have some hope, if not complete happiness.
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? Probably Close Calls. At least I tried to make the ending very happy (do not look at the ruins of Coruscant burning in the background too closely, focus on the kissing)
8. Do you get hate on fics? I haven’t so far so maybe I go with not yet?
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? Yes I do, definitely. Messy fucked up kind and also sometimes a bit fluffier. I like exploring different dynamics in relationships and sex is one of the ways to do this exploring. I prefer my smut with plot though.
10. Do you write crossovers? Nope
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen? Not that I know of!? Crossing fingers here…
12. Have you ever had a fic translated? Yes, once!
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before? Nope
14. What’s your all time favorite ship? Oh this is a hard one… I tend to like several ships? Cody and Rex in every possible iteration. Cody/Thire. Fox/Rex but only if Rex is the more messed up one. Ghost/Soap. Might be easier to say I don’t really have all time favourites 😂
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? Since I usually only have a couple of WIPs at the time I think my odds at finishing them are decent but no promises!
16. What are your writing strengths? I’d like to think writing characters who are flawed or somewhat ambiguous with their motivations? I’m also rather quick at getting the first draft out, it’s the editing that takes time.
17. What are your writing weaknesses? Spelling errors. I also struggle with ending a sentence with a simple dot too much. While writing I get loads of ideas and try to incorporate them into the fic only to realise after a while it won’t work with the direction the plot was meant to go. Um so yeah there’s a lot to learn *shrugs*
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? Mm. Always a bit tricky, but I do like short easily understandable phrases and such a lot.
19. First fandom you wrote for? Haha since I’m old… Charmed. Those drabbles have been buried deep in the floppy disk cemetary.
20. Favorite fic you’ve written? A tie with All the Things No One Said and Deep End.
No pressure tagging @bilbosmom-belladonna and anyone interested 💛

I saw this post by @fantasiawandering and went "oooh!", so I guess I've been tagged.
How many works do you have on AO3?
108, which is... far more than I thought it'd be, now that I actually check.
What's your total AO3 word count?
680,841. That's... well, according to what I've looked up, that's about 8.5 novels, so... whoa...
What fandoms do you write for?
Doctor Who, Transformers (G1 and some Beast Wars) and Jujutsu Kaisen. I've also briefly forayed into Batman, Final Fantasy VII, One Piece, Dinosaur King and Zombies, Run!
You don't want to know how many unposted fandoms I'm in, trust me.
What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
The first five installments of my Doctor Who S05 AU, After the Time War.
The premise goes as follows:
In one universe, the Doctor regenerated after sending Gallifrey into the Time War, and the Master along with it. In this one, the Doctor didn't regenerate... And the Master didn't get stuck in the Time War. ... Amy Pond still has to deal with a crazy alien, though. Or the one where the Doctor dies and the Master has to figure out who he is without the noise in his head or a friend by his side.
Each fic covers an 'episode' of Season 05, except for the first one, which covers the last part of The End of Time.
Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
Most of the time. I would love to say always, but I sometimes leave the comments sitting for one reason or another, and by the time I get to it... Well, it doesn't feel right answering after who knows how many months it's been, though I'm trying to fix that.
What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
I hesitate to name anything from the After the Time War series, because even the angstiest one has something that tells you it'll get better. Maybe some first parts of two-parters were angsty, but I wouldn't call them the angstiest. There's a few Transformers prompt fics that have dark or sad endings too, but again, not that angsty in my opinion.
I'll have to go with an oldie, surprised as I am to admit it. Somewhere Only We Know, a Transformers one-shot set in the far far future of the G1 iteration, exploring Starscream's fate after Cybertron's death.
What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
I have a few, but I'll have to go with, ironically enough, Lost Innocence. Despite the title, it's the most wholesome. It's a Final Fantasy VII post-Dirge of Cerberus 'slice of life' oneshot focused on the Turks and AVALANCHE.
Do you get hate on fics?
I don't remember ever getting any. Perhaps a few unkind/too blunt comments, but not hate, and definitely not on Ao3.
Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Nope. I do have some romantic pairings and relationships, but I tend to 'fade to black' if things seem like they are going to turn down that road, so people can take it whatever way they please.
Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
I have some between related fandoms, like Doctor Who and its spin-offs or different iterations of the Transformers franchise, but they could hardly be considered crossovers. The one that is not and which is the craziest by premise alone is City of Nightmares. It's a Batman/Miraculous Ladybug crossover of sorts, a oneshot that combines both worlds.
Have you ever had a fic stolen?
I don't think I have. Could be, but if so, I'm not aware of it.
Have you ever had a fic translated?
Someone asked me for it once, on a different platform, but I'm not sure it ever came to be.
Have you ever co-written a fic before?
No, though I've tried some co-writing in real life and it's hard.
What's your all-time favorite ship?
Season 7 Amy and Rory, from Doctor Who, could be one. Asmodeus and Fizzarolli, from Helluva Boss, are another one. And I can't come up with any others right now :P
What's the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Big projects like After the Time War, in which I change something about a story (characters, premise, lore...) and then rewrite the story around that. I'll probably never do something as big as I'm currently doing, but I experimented with different ways of doing that in Devils' Fruit, a One Piece premise-change that covers up to the Time Skip, so I'll have to see if I could do something similar with those unfinished WIPs.
What are your writing strengths?
The ability to let the characters steal the show. I may have a plan about how a chapter/fic will go, but when I start writing, the characters say or do unexpected things and I follow them to its conclusion, even if it completely ignores my original plans. It can be a headache, but I like the results. They feel more 'organic'.
What are your writing weaknesses?
Discipline, or rather lack thereof. I write when I feel like it, but I have a bajillion fics at the same time, and when a new idea pops into my head, I have to try really hard not to allow it to take over. Usually, I do that by outlining it and then letting it go, which takes some time but nowhere as much as it would've otherwise.
Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
I don't usually do it, because I don't want to botcher it, but when I must... I know a few languages, so I'm comfortable if it's in those languages. When it isn't, I try to avoid it, taking a "they started spouting gibberish" approach. And when I absolutely cannot avoid it, I tend to turn to online translators and be open to corrections.
First fandom you wrote for?
Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles, though it was very briefly and on a different site. The first 'serious' fandom was the Transformers franchise, with a brief foray into the Bay-verse and a more permanent one with the Generation 1 cartoons.
Favorite fic you've ever written?
Am I the only one that thinks that's a low blow? How can I choose? I guess I could say one of the newer ones, because I'm more experienced with life and writing and whatnot, but my first ones were the ones that gave me that boost to post, even if they're rough.
It's not on Ao3 because it's an old fic (2014-2018) and I would like to polish it a bit before posting it there, so it remains on FF.net exclusively. It's called Half the Truth, and it's a Transformers G1 fic about Spike figuring out some truths of Cybertronian culture and the fallout of those. It was the first fic that made me think hard about things, instead of it being just a story.
