me when i'm bored and start deducing ace attorney characters' birthdays from the court record and dates of the cases

*assumes if someone (other than the victim) appears in a case their birthday doesn't happen during that case. birthday ranges are given with as few contradictions as possible

canon birthdays for reference: - dustin prince: september 6th 1987 (murdered on his birthday) - rayfa padma khura'in: december 24th 2013, aka almost christmas (birthdate used to open a safe)

deduced birthday ranges:

phoenix is the only character with a non-canon exact birthdate: october 10 1992. he tells maya he's 24 during 1-3 (oct 16-20 2016) and his profile says he's 33 during the 2026 part of 4-4 (oct 7-9 2026). since he ages 9 years but 4-4 is 10 years after 1-3 the only date possible where this can happen without his birthday happening during the case is october 10. this means he's 23 during 1-1 and 1-2 and 35 during 5-4 and 5-5, despite the court record saying he's 34.

miles has the next shortest range: september 1-4 1992. he's 24 during 1-2 (sep 5-9 2016) and 25 during 2-4 (mar 20-23 2018) so the range is march 24-september 4 1992. to have him in the same school year as phoenix i narrowed it down to the first days of september. this means his age during aa5 and 6-dlc is incorrect.

larry's is pretty easy to find out: he ages 1 year between i1-5 and i2-3 so the range is march 18-april 1 1993. this makes his age during 6-dlc incorrect, though.

iirc aa1 states that dl-6 happens when the above three are in fourth grade (2001), but due to their ages they would be in third grade in the us system.

maya is march 24-june 15 1999. she was 18 during aa2 (jun 16 2017-march 23 2018). this means she is 29 during 6-dlc, not 28, and she could have celebrated her birthday with phoenix in khura'in.

pearl is may 18-jun 15 2009. she was 8 during 2-2 (jun 16-22 2017) and 18 during 6-5 (may 16-17 2028). this means she was 18 during 5-dlc, not 17. also i'm not american but i think schools normally graduate in june over there and 5-dlc was in july, so she should have already graduated senior year by then.

i think ema is the only character from the original trilogy whose age didn't get fucked up after the seven year gap, but the downside is her birthday range spans two years: october 10 2000-february 21 2001. she was 16 during 1-5 (feb 22-25 2017) and 25 during 4-4 (oct 7-9 2026).

ok i know ema says she'll be "turning 16 this year" which implies she's 15 during 1-5 but the court record says she's 16. i went with the court record because it creates less problems and doesn't contradict the fact that she's in junior high.

THE COMPLETE TIMELINE OF HELL HOUSE LLC. (SO FAR)

Many, many, many days of effort into figuring this all out, and now its here! I did this for fun, but figured it might be something others are interested in for either fanfiction purposes or just to get the full story in order! Giving a fair warning that while I did rewatch and take notes on each individual movie and take a few days to get everything figured out, there could be some small mistakes, so I apologize in advance!!

Most dates were given for big events, but other things mentioned briefly I had to put in the relative spot, with some rough estimation. With large chunks of time, I wrote what happened throughout it in order to make it easier!

WARNING: SPOILERS FOR THE HELL HOUSE LLC FRANCHISE!

BETWEEN 1960 AND 1965  (exact dates unknown)

Andrew Tully, a deeply religious man, is living in Arkansas with his family. His young daughter Annabelle dies and Tully begins to wish for a way to bring her back. He leaves Arkansas to avoid a warrant for his arrest, leaving his remaining family behind. 

BETWEEN 1965 AND 1980 (exact dates unknown)

Tully moves to Clarksburg, West Virginia and meets two men, Thomas Rollins and Freddy Perkins, at a booth they run at the local fair. After joining Down-A-Clown, the three become fast friends and they create a cult whose goal is to go to the other side and come back/ enter the lake of fire. 

BETWEEN 1980 AND EARLY 1989 (exact dates unknown)

Tully, Freddy, and Thomas leave Clarksburg, West Virginia and move to Abaddon, Rockland County, New York. They build the hotel and hire locals, like Patrick Carmichael, to work there, recruiting people for their cult. The portal to hell, or Lake of Fire, is in the basement. 

JUNE 18, 1989

Patrick drives his sister Margaret to the city to drop her off for rehearsals for the play Faust. A drunk driver hits them and Margaret is pronounced dead upon arrival. Patrick survives but loses the ability to use his left arm, and he falls into a deep depression.

SEPTEMBER 4, 1989

Patrick is holding items from the Abaddon Hotel in his house, including the music sheet to Cold the Nightfall and the items from Down-A-Clown. He has Margaret’s bloody clothing and the featureless mask she had for her play on his dresser, and asks Catherine “what if someone told you they could bring her back?”  

BETWEEN SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER 9, 1989 (exact dates unknown)

Guests from the Abaddon Hotel begin to disappear. Tully is questioned numerous times in regards to the disappearance of an 11 year old girl and her mother. Tully provides records stating they checked out, but his business does not recover from the rumors of foul play. He sends a note home to his employees demanding they all show up despite the hotel being closed.

OCTOBER 10, 1989

Tully and the employees of Abaddon Hotel commit suicide in the hotel. Tilly hangs himself in the dining room. Patrick Carmichael is arrested for fighting and brought to jail, missing the mass suicide, which he refers to as ‘crossing over.’ He provides a flipped confession where he states Tully kept photos and videos of what went on in the hotel, and that he kept them in the fridge. When he returns home, he has full use of his arm again. Eleanor and Catherine Carmichael are killed in their beds, and Patrick and Arthur Carmichael go missing. Patrick wears Tully’s clown suit and goes down to the basement of the Abaddon Hotel. 

DECEMBER 25, 1997

Mallet family home video reveals Jackson Mallet playing Cold the Nightfall. He tells his mother “The hotel opens in 2009. Tell everyone.” A deeper, demonic voice is heard in the background saying ‘The Abaddon Hotel.’

SEPTEMBER 28, 2003

The fair in Abaddon, Rockland County happens despite the disappearance of three girls in the last year. Multiple disappearances and injuries from something that came out of the corn field. Margot Bently is almost lured from the fairgrounds by Tully’s clown. 

2002 (exact date unknown)

Hell House LLC is founded by Alex Taylor, Andrew Macnamara, and Sara Havel. Paul O’Keefe and Tony Prescott are hired. 

2008 (exact date unknown)

Russell Wynn, billionaire by 25, is involved in a car crash. He is legally dead for two minutes and then brought back. According to those close to him, Russell was changed by this experience. 

BETWEEN MARCH 1 AND APRIL 2, 2009 (exact date not known)

Alex Taylor and Tully get into contact and Tully convinces Alex to invest in something. The investment, done with the company's money and not his own, goes bad, and he loses everything. 

BETWEEN APRIL 4 - 18, 2009

Tully ignores Alex’s phone calls for two weeks.

APRIL 18, 2009

Alex Taylor visits the Abaddon Hotel and has an angry conversation with Tully, revealing what he did. Tully convinces Alex to hold this year's haunted house in the Abaddon Hotel so he can avoid telling the group about the investment with the promise of going back to the city next year.

BETWEEN APRIL 19 AND AUGUST 22, 2009 (exact date not known)

Alex tells Mac what happened and swears him to secrecy before the group arrives at the diner where he tells them they won’t be hosting Hell House in the city this year. As they leave, Russell Wynn is seen in a booth near them. 

AUGUST 23, 2009 TO OCTOBER 7, 2009

The Hell House group goes through Abaddon for the first time and a week later begin sleeping there. Hell House LLC sets up in the Abaddon Hotel and experience hauntings. Paul is taken and comes back ‘possessed’ after one night. Everyone but Alex experiences a haunting though his notebook reveals his declining mental health due to being in the hotel.

OCTOBER 8, 2009

Opening night of Hell House. 15 people die, numerous injured. 7 bodies never recovered, including some of the Hell House crew. Town officials and police say it was a ‘technical malfunction.’ Alex, Tony, and Paul’s bodies were the only ones found out of the crew. 

OCTOBER 16, 2009

Joey Shefler hangs himself after refusing to talk to police about October 8th. 

BETWEEN NOVEMBER 2009 - DECEMBER 2010 (exact date unknown)

Martin Cliver, a journalist, breaks into the Abaddon Hotel and takes photos and posts them on the internet. Photos of dried blood pools and bloody hand prints throughout the house, including basement steps, prove that it was not a gas leak like the town had been saying. 

2014 (exact date unknown)

Jessica Fox, Molly Reynolds, and David Morris are the people behind THE INSIDE, a blog dedicated to uncovering corruption. In 2014, Jessica breaks a story about kick-backs and pay-to-play deals in the New York State assembly, resulting in many senators going to prison. 

BETWEEN SEPTEMBER - NOVEMBER 2014 (exact date unknown)

Sara Havel, previously missing, reaches out to Diane Graves for an interview. Diane is the director and producer of the documentary ‘Inside Hell House,’ in which she is currently filming. Sara produces the tapes they filmed at the Abaddon, and after answering some questions, tells Diane to meet her at her room, 2C, and convinces her to go to the Abaddon. Diane and her cameraman Jonathan Miller go missing. Mitchell Cavanaugh goes through the Hell House footage and discovers what really happened. 

OCTOBER 6, 2015 

Mitchell releases Hell House LLC to the world. 

BETWEEN OCTOBER 7, 2015 AND OCTOBER 7, 2017 (exact dates unknown)

A teenage boy named Cameron livestreams himself breaking into the Abaddon on Facebook. He sees the legs of a figure (presumably Tully) on the steps. He says “Sorry, I’ll go now,” and then proceeds to livestream until his phone dies, never moving from that position. Police go to find him and find no trace, including his phone.

A teenage boy records himself entering the Abaddon Hotel. He captures the voice of Sara Havel.

AUGUST 5, 2016

Jackson Mallet goes missing after breaking into the abandoned Abaddon Hotel. 

SEPTEMBER 20, 2016

A couple, Nate and Adam, pick up a hitch-hiker and bring her to the Abaddon Hotel. They follow her inside and she attacks them in the basement, revealing a demonic face. The girl is believed to be 18-year-old Savannah Collins whose body was never recovered after she was rumored to have hitch-hiked to the opening night of Hell House. 

OCTOBER 8, 2016

Jackson’s mother receives a text from Jacksons phone reading “Come to the Abaddon Hotel. They’re all in the dining room. They have no eyes,” The last sentence is repeated numerous times. Following the text is a video of Jackson Mallet's apparent last moments. He is running through the Abaddon Hotel asking for help as the demon cult members are seen around. He says “They’re all still here. They want me to go with them. They’re all in hell. They’re all with him.” Tully is sending these.

OCTOBER 22, 2016

Jackson Mallet’s mother receives an email of a video. The video is of 2C in the Abaddon Hotel. The room is empty and in the background you can hear muffled screams, presumably Jackson, as well as Cold The Nightfall on piano.

Morning Mysteries, led by Suzy McCombs, is filming a part of the documentary they are making after 8 years. They capture a demon cult member on the balcony.

Morning Mysteries interviews Mitchell Cavanaugh, Arnold Tassleman, and Brock Davis and they discuss Hell House. Arnold Tassleman is currently in a legal battle with Mitchell due to his belief Mitchell has caused damage to the town of Abaddon. At the end of the segment, Jessica calls and tells them she has physical proof of Tully’s involvement with the missing guests, Hell House, and the town's involvement. As she hangs up, she says “Mitchell, if you want to know what happened to Diane, come find me.” As the interview ends, an assistant to Morning Mysteries tells Suzy that Arnold Tassleman never actually showed up due to a car accident. 

OCTOBER 7, 2017

Mitchell and THE INSIDE meet and discuss how to get into the Abaddon Hotel, then record at Mitchell’s apartment. Jessica reveals her ‘physical proof’ is a police transcript she was sent in the mail anonymously. It holds Patrick Carmichaels flipped confession, revealing tapes and evidence in the fridge. The group goes to the bar after. Russell Wynn enters the bar as they leave.

OCTOBER 8 - 11, 2017

Mitchell, Jessica, Molly, David, Brock Davies, and his cameraman Malcolm arrive at the Abaddon Hotel. In the basement fridge, they find tapes related to the hotel (‘The Abaddon Hotel: From Construction to Completion,’ ‘Unaired Commercial’) as well as blueprints to the hotel and other tapes. One of said tapes is the meeting between Alex and Tully in April. Tully reveals he has been sending videos (the ones featured in HH2,) to ‘a poor stranger,’ that being Russel Wynn. All 6 remain missing.

OCTOBER 12, 2017

Jessica Fox is found walking down the side of the road in confusion with injuries. Once in the police station, it's revealed she is dead and being used by Tully as a means to lure people to the hotel like Sara Havel. 

BETWEEN 2017 AND 2018 (exact date unknown)

Billy Braddock posts on Facebook about going to the Abaddon Hotel to burn it down and is never heard from again.

BETWEEN AUGUST 1 TO SEPTEMBER 13, 2018 (exact date unknown)

Russel Wynn buys the Abaddon Hotel and saves it from being torn down. He moves his New York City based live-theater trope ‘Insomnia’ to the hotel to perform a version of Faust. Vanessa Shepard, the new host of Morning Mysteries, is invited and given full access to the set of Insomnia for behind the scenes filming and interviews with the cast and crew. Russell wants her to record the process up to opening night. 

SEPTEMBER 13 TO OCTOBER 2, 2018 

Insomnia prepares for opening night October 1st. After a confrontation with Father Paulis, Vanessa learns that at midnight Russell Wynn will be liquidating his assets and having him disperse it into various charities. The gateway is opened and then destroyed by Russell and the Abaddon Hotel burns to the ground, leaving a few smoldering remains. Russell was able to close the portal due to his brief death in 2008. All tour goers and members of Insomnia were found in the corn field behind the hotel safe and confused. Those who died in the hotel before that night are stuck there but in purgatory. Russel’s hotel room is revealed to have dozens of hours of footage regarding the hotel, including what happened to the previous Morning Mysteries group. 

BETWEEN OCTOBER 3, 2018 TO NOVEMBER 2021 (exact dates unknown)

A local antique shop takes in some items that survived the fire (including the grandfather clock) and puts them up for sale. The Documentary of HH2 is released. Margot Bentley and Bradley Moynahan create the website NetSleuths.com, a place for amateur detectives to work and solve cases with a focus on unsolved/cold cases. Margot and her girlfriend Rebecca often go and stay at the places she is investigating, and she records everything. She gets into contact with Donald and secures 5 nights at the Carmichael Manor. Margot’s mother calls her and tells her that her brother, Chase, has been missing for two days. Despite taking his medication, Chase see’s a disappearing and reappearing 11-year-old girl asking him to help her find her mom and that they’re staying at a hotel. The girl tells Chase to ‘Go with Margot.’ The next day, Margot invites Chase to Carmichael Manor. 

NOVEMBER 6 - 11, 2021

Margot, Rebecca, and Chase stay at the Carmichael Manor. They find a connection between the house and the Abaddon Hotel via the antique shop. Chase goes missing, and on November 11, 2021 at 2 am, Rebecca and Margot are killed in the manor. 

BETWEEN DECEMBER 2021 TO MARCH 2022 (exact date unknown)

The Rockland County officials reveal they are planning on reopening the fair now that the Abaddon Hotel is destroyed.

The Year In Doom & Gloom

Doom & Gloom From The Tomb celebrated its 15th anniversary this year, which is crazy. But what can I say, I keep finding cool live tapes and keep feeling compelled to share them with you ... whoever you are! Today I am thinking about. The original brown Minecraft spider.

Well, I call it original, but. This specific design of the spider was the first one but was only briefly used during the development of the 0.26 Survival Test (released December 24, 2009), which Notch shared with players on the TIGSource forums. Upon receiving feedback from a user, he changed the spiders to the familiar black with red eyes design we all know about 28 minutes before releasing the version for player testing. And thus ended the brief reign of the brown spider.

But honestly, just look at them! I think they're adorable, I love the coloring and their lil black eyes. I think they should bring this design back as a variant. And considering right now that multiple passive mobs are getting variants, why not bring us a new spider? I'm thinking that the brown spider should be an Overworld surface only spawn, while any that appear in the caves are still black, helping them to blend in better. But any Overworld forest-type biome should spawn the brown spider in at night. I don't know whether they should have any unique effects.. perhaps their eyes are unique from those of the black spider and can have a different potion use?

The black spider can drop a 'red spider eye' while the brown drops a 'black spider eye', and perhaps both can be fermented to get the same fermented spider eye, but in their natural state, they can be used for different things. The original red eye continues to make a potion of poison as usual and the new black eye could do... idk nausea? Could be useful, mostly in multiplayer to disorient other players.

If these spiders DO spawn specifically in forests though I think they should maybe be slightly smaller than a regular spider to better maneuver through the trees. Cave spider sized, perhaps. Though thankfully without poison.

Spider spawners in dungeons underground will continue to spawn only the black spiders but the ones in Woodland Mansions will now do mostly brown spiders. And apparently trial spawners can do spiders so I think uhh. They'd choose one or the other to spawn, and you can see what kind it is by looking in the spawner, though maybe they could change the blocks around the spawner to tip you off from a distance, idk I haven't had much interaction with trial spawners.

Brown spider behavior is the same as the black ones, they'll climb walls, hostile in the darkness, etc.

But yeah those are my thoughts about the Minecraft brown spider. I want it back. It's so cute. Mojang please.

MCU Timeline: The Incredible Hulk

This timeline is based on dates from the movie, its deleted scenes, calculations and logic, and not on Fury's Big Week (see the reason here). I must admit that compared to the other movies I've covered, this one gave me a bit of a headache.

~1946 - Thaddeus E. Ross is born.

December 18, 1969 - Robert Bruce Banner is born.

~1970 - Emil Blonsky is born.

~1973 - Ross returns from Vietnam at the age of 27.

March 5, 2004, 2:30 pm - experiment by Dr. Banner and Dr. Betty Ross turns Bruce into the Hulk. He kills two scientists, a military officer, and injures General Ross and his daughter.

In the newspaper we can see part of the date "06". The most logical option would be "2006", but this contradicts other dates, plus Marvel often blurs or skips years in their newspapers. The next option is - day. We can't see the month, but there is another paper connected to it that says "March 07". So I assume the original incident happened on March 5 (the day before this newspaper was published).

~March 6 or 7, 2004 at 2:50 pm - Bruce visits Betty in the hospital. General Ross confronts him. Bruce runs away. Ross begins his hunting campaign.

April 18, 2004 - Banner is spotted by a surveillance camera.

This is a US surveillance camera (date format), meaning it happened while Bruce was hiding inside the country (thus shortly after the original incident).

2004-2006 - Banner spotted in Idaho. Hulk kills a state trooper.

Here I would guess that the suicide attempt in Alaska from the deleted alternate opening scene took place in the winter of 2004-2005 or 2005-2006. And it wasn't the suicide attempt Banner was talking about in The Avengers, because he didn't put a bullet in his mouth in the deleted scene. Instead, he aimed at the ice so it would break and drag him out to the sea, I guess. So officially he's attempted suicide at least twice, and the bullet-in-mouth was before that ice-cold-one (it doesn't make sense to put so much effort into attempting suicide if you haven't tried all the easier options. And I'm sure he tried them).

February 7, 2006 - Banner attempted contact with Betty Ross.

May 27-28, 2006 - Bruce/Hulk spotted in Canada. Hulk (possibly) kills two Canadian hunters.

September 4, 2006 - Hulk out with house demolition. Probably still in Canada.

Not sure why "Notification: MOSSAD": this doesn’t look like Israel at all. But perhaps after this incident Bruce flew from Canada to Israel, and then from there went to Europe.

October 21, 2006 - "last seen fleeing".

This "No Sightings For 5 Months" contradicts October 21, 2006, because there were events a month before and after that date. And that's okay, because it doesn't actually mean that that line has to have any connection to that specific date. It just means that Ross lost him for 5 months during his hunt, and it's just part of a larger report, most of which we don't see.

November-December 2006 (snow) - Hulk smashes trucks in Europe (European license plate).

January 22, 2007 - Hulk out in Samara, Russia.

2007-2008 - Bruce in a Tibetan monastery.

March 2009 - Bruce is hired to work at the Antonio Carlos soda bottling plant in Rio (Rocinha favela), Brazil.

So his path most likely looked like this: US (Virginia > Idaho) > crossed US/Canada border > Alaska > back to Canada > Israel > Central Europe > Russia > China (Tibet) > Japan > South America (Paraguay > Brazil).

5 years after initial incident (2004-2009):

~August 2, 2009, 158 days after the last incident:

Banner cuts his finger at the plant and a bottle of soda containing his blood is shipped to the US.

Here on the sticker we see "19 APR". At this quality I can't really see what that date means, but I'm guessing it's a bottling or shipping date. So in the movie it must be April 19th, right? But if we use that date, other dates won't work (especially the last scenes in Canada). Instead, I'll use secondary evidence like the weather and college students later in the movie (doesn't look like summer, does it?) to determine an approximate date, and ignore "19 APR".

Note: This weather forecast matches August 2009 in Rio, but not April.

He tries the mysterious flower on his blood cells, but it's just another failed attempt to cure himself of the Hulk. He sends a sample of his blood to Dr. Samuel Sterns.

~30 days later - Stan Lee in Wisconsin drinks the bottle with Banner's blood.

Shortly after, ~September 2, 8:10 pm - General Ross learns of this and sends his men to search for Banner.

~September 3 (190 days without incident):

Ross has assembled a special forces team to capture Bruce, led by Emil Blonsky. They are sent to Brazil immediately.

Same day in Brazil - Sterns informs Bruce that he has succeeded in reducing the gamma radiation levels in Banner's blood sample.

~September 4, early morning - Ross' team tries to catch Bruce. He hulks out and escapes.

~September 8:

Morning - Bruce returns to himself in Guatemala, thousands of miles from Rio.

Why ~4 days later and not 1: Hulk's running speed in the MCU is about 100 km/h. The distance between Rio and Guatemala that he had to run is ~7 thousand km. I doubt he ran at the same speed the whole distance, so that gives us at least 3-4 days.

(Probably) same day, evening - Bruce in Chiapas, Mexico.

~September 24:

10:40 am - Bruce arrives at Culver University but can't get inside.

Note: there are too many students for summer, and some are wearing sweaters and jackets. All this tells us that it is most likely September.

Night - he visits his old friend Stan.

~September 25 (Friday):

Bruce gains access to the university database, but finds that all of his data has disappeared.

Bruce and Betty meet. She hides him at her house (or rather at her boyfriend's house, according to deleted scenes) and gives him the data she saved.

Betty mentions that it's Friday, and in this movie the days of the week match our universe, unlike Iron Man 1 where they don't. I'll make another post explaining why there's such a difference between the movies, rather than just calling it a mistake.

Blonsky gets an injection of super soldier serum.

~September 26 - General Ross attacks Bruce at Culver University. Bruce hulks out, badly injures Blonsky, saves Betty and runs away with her. They spend the night in a cave.

Note that some trees in the scene are already changing colors to yellow and red, which usually starts in mid-September.

~September 27 - Hulk in. Betty takes Bruce to a motel. Blonsky is healed of all his injuries.

~September 28:

Bruce sends the data to Sterns. He and Betty drive to NYC. Blonsky gets a second injection.

Here we can see "06.12.08", but: 1) it contradicts other dates; 2) the time +0004 does not match the time Bruce sent the message (it was daytime, not 00:04); 3) there is another message with "06.00.08". I conclude that this is not even a date, or not a date we can trust.

Night - Sterns uses his antidote on Banner, which temporarily suppresses the Hulk.

General Ross tranquilizes Bruce and takes him into custody. Blonsky forces Sterns to inject him with Banner's blood, and Blonsky becomes the Abomination. He hits Sterns, and a drop of Banner's blood falls into Sterns' head wound.

The Abomination attacks Harlem. Bruce hulks out and fights him. He defeats Blonsky and runs away.

~October 29 (31 days later) - Bruce in Bella Coola, BC, Canada. He learns to control the Hulk and hulks out on purpose in his cabin.

This is not earlier than October. Closer to November. Not summer at all. The warm clothes people are wearing in the last scenes also confirm this.

Note: the "more than a year without an incident" from The Avengers doesn't really tell us anything about the year of this movie, because Bruce could have had an incident at any time after that. Or a whole bunch of incidents.

Note: comic book The Incredible Hulk: The Big Picture is not compatible with the movie, despite being released in the same box in 2008. Why we can say this: 1) the date of the first incident in the book is April 16, 2005. The movie contains evidence of Ross's hunt from April 2004. 2) The scenes of Bruce and Ross's first confrontation are different. In the movie, it takes place in the hospital; in the book, it takes place in the destroyed lab, where shirtless Banner stayed for three days. 3) In the book Blonsky had already encountered Hulk before the chase in Rio. He didn't see him, but he interrogated a boy who did. In the movie, Blonsky had never heard of the Hulk before.

MCU Timeline: The Infinity Saga

I saw another of these floating around that was...wrong, so I'm putting this together so people can keep characters' ages straight more easily. I'm not listing everyone, obviously, but characters whose ages get misstated most often.

Does this match up with the wiki or the Ultimanias? Absolutely not! The Ultimania says that Lucrecia was pregnant for three years! The wiki says that Vincent was shot after Sephiroth was born, even though Lucrecia was still pregnant when it happened! The source material, however, is 99.99% internally consistent with regard to the timeline, so I go with that, and that's what we're going by here.

We all need to take a second to admire the sheer beauty of Prospit and Skaia because WOW.

If i thought the blues and golds were stunning before these frames blow that out of the water. And the clouds! My god the clouds. As we see Prospit turn its moon lines up in the eclipse and the clouds reveal scenes we have witnessed or may witness, sometimes changing shapes but mostly acting as a portal. Earth and SBURB are much more intermingled than we could have anticipated.

One of the clouds showed the meteor from the past that formed Jades island. As the meteor passed it left the cloud vision and became a cloud itself, which begs the question how thats possible and if it can somehow do the reverse but thats neither here nor there. What is important is that this is the meteor that Jade heard, only it didnt land on Earth but a strange present-past double of Earth on Prospit.

Im super happy I was able to get a screencap of the superimposition of the Earth and Prospit Earth impact site. Its not the best but it really highlights how much intermingling occurs during an Eclipse and how Jade is able to get her future visions. Speaking of, @homestuckreplay does a great job going more in depth about that here (always appreciate you friend, that kinda theorizing isnt really my wheelhouse <3). We get to learn that this is the crash sound from Jades pesterlog, one of potentially several that she has while awake on Prospit.

From the meteor, Bec emerges out of the lava as well as a small glowing white spirograph that is at the site of the frog stature back on Earth. Theres another shot of Dream and Robo Jade heading to the site to investigate only to be blocked by Bec in both cases. I wonder if because Bec is a Skaian creation if his movements are outside of time in such a way as to be in both places at once (similar to Jade but just one body) or if he is connected to each version of himself and they move as one when necessary (exactly like Dream and Robo Jade are to Jade).

With that option foiled, Jade heads back to her room but notices that John has left his room. We dont see when exactly it happened, but sometime when Jade was exploring the crash site John left the bed and now floats in the sky outside of his bedroom (which looks so cool and just adds on to the mirror imagery we are getting right now). John is starting to wake up. We get flashes of his cloud visions (shapes only) from when he took a nap while Jades silhouette flashes between the black standard pose and her current floating dream self.

Unfortunately he is woken up (his real self that is) due to interference. Looking back at that sequence two things stand out, beside the trippy light show that is. The first is the ever present spirograph and the second is a pumpkin. The spirograph leads me to believe Skaianet had some hand in allowing the interrupution. Thinking on it, its strange that Skaia and Skaianet are named as such. Im sarting to be real skeptical on the purpose of Skaia as a whole. If they are one and the same why is it letting all of this happen? And is it really a good idea to be protecting it when we dont know its intentions?

The pumpkin, as far was we can tell at this point, has to be related to the Wandering Vagabond. The pumpkin in that sequence is not one that we have seen yet. It really seems that the theory of outside hacker forces is becoming more and more likely but in such an odd way. I genuinely dont think WV caused this out of malice, but I dont understand why it was allowed to happen. Again, Skaia or SBURB or Whatever is very confusing in its goals. Ugh, I might have to put my current little essay project on the back burner to try and parse each piece of this dubious entity.

Finally, we see John awake once more but at the same time whatever happened to keep his dream self from waking up also woke Earth Jade up. Another mirror, but this time between John and Jade. Im taking this to mean theres probably more similarities between them than we previously thought or its another way to highlight the simultaneous nature in which that interruption occurred.

All I know is the next compare/contast essay I make is gonna be WAY more convoluted than I thought.

Matty Healy's villain origin story is that he’s a nepo baby “Artiste” that was passed by the major labels. Meanwhile Harry grew up nearby and was signed for £20m by a major label off a TV show. MH has been low key obsessed with Harry, eventually dated his girlfriend, dumped her and she said she had temporary insanity. He said they never dated in 2014, doing so would be emasculating and he released a HS diss track at the time. In 2024 he said TTPD does not reflect the relationship they had.

MHs parents are actors Tim Healy and Denise Welch, overseas 1D fans may know his mum from this Loose Women interview with 1D. His parents had a messy public divorce covered in Tabloids.

I probably shouldn't have started another multichapter, especially when Christmas is so close but listen... in my defense, I just love Harry/Ginny. And I haven't written them in quite honestly years and years.

The AU is probably one of my favorites - a world without Voldemort, where everyone grew up more or less happily. James and Lily are alive, Harry has siblings, the Marauders never turned on each other or died. And the Weasley family is much the same as they are in canon - although perhaps not with all the same marriages. (But I couldn't break up Ron and Hermione, obviously.)

I wanted to keep it familiar enough to canon - Harry and Ron are Aurors, Hermione works for the Ministry, Ginny plays Quidditch for the Holyhead Harpies - but with the AU, I can expand everyone's families greatly. Lots and lots of redhead Weasley boys incoming, baby Luke was only the beginning. I'm quite excited to play off the canonically massive Weasley family against each other, adding in Arthur's brothers, their children, their grandchildren - and a few other family surprises to come.

For some extra setting info - Hermione says they're thirty years old in this chapter but she's lying; she's the only one who's thirty. The story takes place in December of 2009, where Ron and Harry are 29 and Ginny is 28. All of Ginny's older brothers are married and have kids, so you can see why her grandmother is a little bit irritated that she hasn't gone down the aisle yet.

Two buses of special forces had arrived at the scene. According to Ehsan Zahidov, a spokesman for Interior Ministry, the special troops conducted an operation while people reportedly having been held hostage were released. Three cartridge belts with capacity of forty and seventy one bullets along with two magazines were taken from Gadirov's body.

Farda Asad oglu Gadirov (8 December 1980 – 30 April 2009), a Georgian citizen of Azerbaijani descent, was identified as the perpetrator of the shooting.

Gadirov was born in the village of Dashtapa near Marneuli. He spent most of his life in Podolsk, Russia, after his uncle invited him to help him in business but for unknown reasons returned to Baku. An official from his home village, Vidadi Hasanov, described Gadirov as an unsociable child who rarely left his home during his brief return.

Messages found on Gadirov's mobile phone after the shootings described himself as a "lone wolf." One message said: "I am coming to Baku, I will shoot everyone I meet regardless of their age. I will not give up to the police. I will experience the pleasure of killing." Photographs found at the gunman's home in neighbouring Georgia showed him posing with a pistol. They were signed "Lone Wolf" and "My every step is death".

Gadirov attacked the second building of the ASOA. First he killed a security guard and a cleaner as he entered the building, before opening fire on students and lecturers. Then while climbing from the first floor to the sixth, he shot people indiscriminately mainly in the head along the way. A witness said one student had tried to stop him but was also shot in the head. Another witness reported seeing two gunmen. Terrorism was suspected. The gunman barricaded himself in the Academy and police cordoned off the building. 12 people were killed and 13 wounded. Gadirov then fatally shot himself, when he saw the police were approaching. Police and paramedics soon arrived on the scene. The armed police cordoned off the building. All major routes to the university were blocked. Bodies were found all over the building. The injured were taken to ambulances stationed outside and evacuated to hospital. Most were soon in stable condition, but some were in critical condition and underwent surgery. All students were evacuated and sent home.

However doubts over several details were expressed. Azeri military expert Uzeyir Jafarov said it is quite obscure to him the inexperienced assailant could kill and injure so many persons with a Makarov pistol. Jafarov outlined, that Gadirov was not a military person, but a civilian.
