What really bothers me about the try guys scandal is that there’s no word on or from Alexandria. She hasn’t said a word, she hasn’t apologized publicly. She deserves the same amount of blame for this, both of them had a part in risking the company and each other’s relationships. Waiting on a company statement about her job status or even better her own apology for hurting so many people. Im expecting her to at least apologize in the same vein as Ned’s apology.

If anything, this drama confirms Buzzfeed must be one of the worst places to work.

It’s one thing for people who use to watch Buzzfeed/Tryguys to comment, because we don’t know these people irl. But so many ex-employees and ex-coworkers show themselves to be a bunch of snakes ready to jump on the clout train saying “ooh we’re not surprised” “ooh we been knew”.

Imagine being Ariel and seeing all these people you knew saying they knew. The highschool mentality never left these people. They’re like the people who cry about being bullied but would’ve jumped at the opportunity to be the bully.

Kristin making jokes about how she’s reconnecting with all her ex-coworkers and Devin talking about “wife guys” shows that Safiya was right to leave Ladylike. Stay classy ladies.

And let’s not forget this person who very much wanted to join the drama by dropping this bomb on Zach but also ensured she put a “oh but remember this happened A BILLION YEARS AGO” like adding the “lol but that’s just my opinion” at the end of a sentence so that if people call her out she can just pretend she might have misremembered and not take responsibility.

Bonus for all the batshit “fans” trying to get gossip and acting nuts on the profiles of people who aren’t even employed with the try guys anymore.

I think the worst aspect of the public's reaction to the "Ned Fulmer Scandal" is the "saw it coming/never trust a wife guy" discourse. Like people really entertained pseudo-scientific analysis of "wife guys" complete with enough logical fallacies to warrant a fucking hazmat suit for the sake of...idek, having fun being nosy, I guess. It's so noxiously obtuse. As if peoples' behavior doesn't shock us all the time and won't continue to, however many "Ned Fulmer moments that aged like milk" videos we watch. Then to put this weird ridiculous weight on the shoulders of other "wife guys" including the comparisons with Keith and Becky Habersbergers' relationship and the calls for Ryan Reynolds and McElroys not to "let us down"...have we considered shutting the fuck up actually lolol.

Came here to obsess about Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles mainly (gradually working through the books I first read more than a decade ago and giving some the books I skipped or that weren't released yet a try.)

Like Armand a lot, not precious about ships but devil's minion is my fave.

This seems to be the best option we have for fandom, it might be falling apart slightly but I found a lot of great fan writers and artists on here so I'll give it another try - with any luck the social features of this social media website work on this blog!

yes, i am giving it one more try! i've been in between drafts, deciding what series to draft and post first (after taking such a long break) but after rethinking and changing the plot for WOAC, i decided to try again.
