I took a few hours after gym to sit down and actually play the game. And I did add Lucien, Kaidan, and Inigo to my mod list. In fact Lucien is there behind Trahearne. Now, imagine Trahearne or Fennorian just as verbose and interactive/immersive!

Planning on building a mid range pc!!

Bought a 3060ti eagle oc on retail a few months ago...

(stress tested it at a friend's place and saw that it's emitting way too much heat than it's supposed to- whoops)

I'm giving it a good thorough cleaning and changing its dried up thermal paste and thermal pads before I start building the actual pc tower! (the fan cable was so difficult to unplug, I was really worried about breaking it aaaaa-)

Aaaand the end result! Hope it won't go over 92°C like last time! :')

planning a maximalist dream computer build is conceptually very funny when you're not a mainstream gamer but you do use a lot of academic software because it goes like -intel i7 of whatever the current gen is that year -3060 or 3060ti -128 GB RAM -4 TB storage space

My new gaming pc finally came in today!!! ignore the lack of mouse pad and my old crappy mouse and keyboard…. I’m working on getting those :( I spent the extra money I managed to scrape together on the pc lol. I did get a cute mouse pad that’s Otw though!!

also. I know, I knowwww a prebuild, not my first choice but it was literally 65% off and a GREAT deal and a great cpu & gpu (i7-12700f/3060ti) & I can now game again :D. Only thing is, my old headset isn’t working and cutting out and it’s unusable :( but again, gotta wait on those lol. if you wanna help me out, here’s my wishlist 💜

I really do wanna start streaming, so I would be such a happy girl & super appreciate any help from my wishlist to make that goal come true and faster, instead of not being able to for a few weeks at least 🥺

I'm also looking to build my very first PC with more or less the same specs so I've been watching/reading about PC parts for the last week. Your choices are solid!! Good CPU, good PSU. I would go for at least 3060ti or 3070 but GPUs are expensive, I feel you. Please let us know of the performance.

aaa ty! i've actually changed my build a bit since then, since i managed to acquire a kraken cooler for $100CAD and a corsair 3 fan pack for like $40CAD. They're sitting collecting dust in my closet while I try to scrounge up the money for the rest of the build lol. Anyways i'm actually considering getting an RX 7800XT since it's cheaper price for what you get. I would try finding a used 3070 but no one around here sells that generation surprisingly (both secondhand and new). I'm just nervous about switching to AMD lol.

Any thoughts on used graphics cards? Or just what graphics card to buy today if one wants more than an RTX 3060ti, but not to go really deep into spending a lot of money?

I have a used 7900XTX, it's definitely a risk, but you're usually pretty safe.

That said, eh, a 3060TI is probably good for 99.9%. the 4000 series is meh, and I'm having issues with windows and my 7900xtx. I know it's not the card because I tested it in another tower, and with linux and it works fine. But windows keeps replacing my graphics drivers.

It's really just a sorta post abt the way I am a screenshot hoe and had stuff upgraded so yeah. I initially started playing the re-pack of the game due ✨reasons✨ with a very hopeful 1060Ti bc I have no self-preservation instinct. Lavinia was originally played with Isidora replacement [I believe that one is no longer on nexus] through my first run and the majority [of 30 GB] of my screens just was taken during that first playthrough. The faces and memes made back there are gold.

JAOEVER, after a while, engine enhancing mods and whatnot I started to realize that the adult Isidora face was somehow off. I don't actually remember what I thought it to be, but I decided to make another playthrough for vids and gifs and play around. I was still figuring out how my girlie looks and back then she did not have freckle.

After playing the prologue an ungodly amount of times with different textures I realize that it was probably proportion that was off, since it was adult Isidora face? So after much hesitation I decided to switch the head replacer. I MOURN HER NOSE TILL THIS DAY OKAY😢. But at least it fixed the issue I had with the basic animations. Apparently after playing the prologue I forgave her the juicy smoochers and the disney nose, so here's that. She still got sass.

I will tell u again, that I am an screenshot ho. So after realizing that it's cute but it's kind of not enough if I want some proper resolution and picture quality...

And I tell you it does make a difference. Not only can you up well the quality, it does get you better sense of light and overall performance. I mean my graphic card is not the strongest, like 3060Ti, but I am getting what I want with kind of smooth fps.

That was until my fav mod [Ultra Plus Bug Fixes and Cut-Scene Quality by SammiLucia] got updates that did not go well with my pre-release crack, which lacked all the fixes and advanced light moments and the proper RT and...well you get the drift.

And then I got the non-empress repack finally to use all the good stuff and well, we are here.✨

Back in the summer I upgraded my rig to something that could more easily handle Cycles renders (3060ti/12700), used ye old Ghost model as a test, still really need to test it with larger and more animation heavy scenes but i liked the results I was getting , long way from the lowrange laptop and its integrated gpu that could barely run Maya I used for most of uni.
