Greetings to you and before anything else, Happy 5th Year anniversary to Spy × Family!

Just came to notice that today actually marks the 5th year of the release of Spy × Family. Coincidentally, I finished this work today and I suppose I shall make good use of this coincidence and thus, take it as an anniversary gift for the manga itself.

This work pictures the message "Westalis × Ostania" which is fully inspired by the special illustration released previously.

The Portal Holiday Spirit Initiative!

To help bring a smile to people's faces this year, I will be sending FREE Portal-Themed Holiday Cards to anyone who asks for one! There are a few changes to the cards this year because life has gotten very busy for me and I have less free time than in years past.

This year there will only be one card design, featuring artwork from one of the Portal Fandom's awesome artists! The cards will still be customizable to any Winter Holiday of your choosing, but you'll have to wait for your card to arrive in order to see how (the method takes cues from the Portal game's sense of humor, so it will very much be on-brand).

This year is also special because it is PHSI's 5th Anniversary! I can’t express the amount of thanks everyone who has participated over the years, whether you've reblogged and shared, requested cards, helped with artwork, or helped in other ways. You all deserve my recognition and thanks for volunteering your time, talents, and support! Thanks for helping to make PHSI a special fandom tradition!

It's that easy! Card Requests are now open, and close on December 20th in order to give me enough time to make and send all the cards before the end of the year. Please submit sooner rather than later so I have time to finish them all!

Also, please don’t be afraid to request a physical card if you don’t live in the US! The card service I've chosen says they ship worldwide and, while it might take a bit longer for you to receive your card depending on what country you live in, the cards will get mailed to whatever address you provide, domestic or foreign. Last year I mailed/emailed a total of 164 cards to Italy, Canada, Germany, England, Poland, The US, The United Kingdom, Brazil, India, and Slovenia!

I’m happy to be a part of the Portal Fandom and hope to bring a smile to others in the Fandom this year! Making and emailing Holiday Cards takes time and effort, and sending physical cards is expensive. PHSI has an eCard option! All you need to provide is a name for me to call you by and an email address to receive your card!

Worried about requesting a card because you don’t live in the US?

PHSI mails to any address provided, whether domestic or foreign! However, please wait patiently for your card, due to the current global rate of shipping.

Worried that you can’t give $4 to cover the cost of your card or someone else’s?

Requesting a card from PHSI has been and will always be FREE! However, giving $4 to the initiative helps me pay for the printing service and postage to mail physical cards (visit ko-fi.com/247testing if you’d like to contribute). Worried because you don’t know how to support the artist of the card you received?

The artist’s social media is listed on the back of every card featuring their artwork. Look them up, commission them, reblog their art, and support them however you can!

Double check your email inbox and junk folders. I send everyone an email that either confirms your Holiday Card has shipped or includes your eCard! Physical cards take 1-2 weeks to arrive. Husband and I celebrated our five year wedding anniversary with a box:

It held a bottle of wine and two love letters that we’d shut away on the day of the wedding.

The wine was DELICIOUS.

The letter from Husband made me cry. He’s so sweet and thoughtful.

He mentioned having some feelings for me when we worked at the amusement park together, but he was in another relationship (so was I, I was married to Ex).

We decided we’re doing this again. For our ten year anniversary, we’re getting another bottle of wine, and writing more letters. I already wrote Husband’s. I mentioned the park, too.

One of our jobs was dropping off insulated water jugs to all the rides before the park opened, so each operator would have cold water. I’d always recruit Husband to do this with me, even though I had a raging crush on someone completely different.

Why?

I wanted that first part of the day to be mellow, enjoyable, easy with his help (Crush has a history of heart problems and they were recent back then, no way was I making him lift; meanwhile Husband has always had big ol’ tree trunk arms), and fun. And spending that time with Husband always delivered!

So I told him: I always recruited you for water jugs not because of your tree trunk arms, but because I wanted to spend that time with you.

Anyway, I’m in my Park Feels now, and I wish I could bang out a shift on Mind Eraser with Husband.

Fandom - Tolkien’s universe, if that’s ok, if not… just surprised me

Gender - A man please

My Personality - Hmm what don’t you know yet… I’ve gotten some negative feedback lately… really shot my self esteem, I’m actually really sensitive and vulnerable. So telling me I’m uncaring and hard to read just make me really sad because that’s not true at all I really care, and I think it shows, but apparently to some parties I’m “hard to read” and “too sarcastic”… I don’t think the opposite of passionate is cold though, I’m just steady and laid back and like to be calm like smooth flat water. That’s how it feels to me, but maybe it doesn’t show that way… I feel really misunderstood. Hobbies lately are designing bracelets, Japanese cooking, and hikes near water. I’m a sensory person, I like my creature comforts around my home, I like making things comfortable and cosy. That’s all where I’m at right now.

For You - Really random but Milo from the Disney animated Atlantis movie. From what I recall he’s cute and academic, you’d be able to talk about a bunch of things probably, I just think it would be cute :)

Fair warning my experience with Tolkien is limited to the movies.

I ship you with…Faramir

Faramir has always been the black sheep, misunderstood for his more sensative nature. A common problem for people who feel deeply is the need to hide it, whether they’re aware of it or not, often covering up with sarcasm and just not sharing everything about themselves. It’s a defense mechanism, one that somebody like Faramir could see through with ease. He’d appreciate your steady nature and come to your defense at the drop of a hat. He’s also a poet at heart and after the war, he’s be happy to settle into comfortable domestic bliss with you.

Oh switching it up. I’ll take him! Genuinely one of my favorite Disney heroes.
