A couple question, because I am undecided.

Do you think the Eito x Takumi ship is being (or is going to be) pushed particularly hard as the the big ship of the game?

Do you think it might be a bait somehow? [Still eyeing Eito's suspiciously Nagito adjacent traits]

And what do you think the context of the sex scene is? Is it for real, a dream, an illusion?

There isn't a shred of doubt in my mind that Takumi n Eito are going to be the next big doomed yaoi ship to hit the visual novel scene. The groundwork has been laid out before us in the marketing (mainly the little teaser videos on Twitter) and the demo and there's no going back now. Full steam ahead!

If I may delve into my prediction headspace for a moment, I'd like to bring up one of my big ideas for a potentially story-altering decision Takumi may end up making. Who will he choose to love and loyally follow: Nozomi or Eito? Will he sink back into the comfort of blissful normality with the uncannily familiar lookalike of his childhood best friend? Or will he risk life and limb to trek through uncharted territory, ensuring the safety of this naive stranger that heals the phantom pain in his heart? THE FACT THAT THESE TWO BOTH HAVE LIGHT GRAY HAIR AND MISTY BLUE EYES IS DEFINITELY ON PURPOSE. I've played enough Silent Hill 2 to know that a major theme in Hundred Line is probably going to be the choice of embracing the unsettled past for the sake of one's own solace or looking ahead towards an uncertain future full of risk and reward with the company of a flickering light in the dark (and a complimentary emotional ass-whooping for one's morally gray actions). I'm sure there can be pros and cons to both options, it just depends what the player thinks is best for Takumi in this war-ridden hellscape. And just as a small addition, it seems like there could be other romance options for Takumi such as Tsubasa, so I don't think Eito and Nozomi are gonna be the sole two options for who Takumi could end up having romantic feelings for (or maybe there's a choice to not crush on anyone at all, which would surely be appreciated as an option).

In regards to if Eito and Takumi's potential romantic relationship might be bait, I have a hunch it might not be. Kodaka is a wildcard and is prone to including character relationships that can be viewed as queer have one or both characters dying at some point (but in the Danganronpa series it is a killing game so it can be difficult to draw the line between what is 'burying the gays' and what isn't, but that's a whole other conversation). Komahina ends up being the best example out of his (probably accidental) entourage of queer-coded relationships. As for Uchikoshi, I have some more faith in him since I noticed AI: Somnium Files (just the first, haven't played the sequel yet) has confirmed queer characters: Mama, Renju, and Pewter. So in the end, I think we just have to have hope that Uchikoshi is pulling the reins for the gays since he seems to be more apt at handling queer characters and themes.

As for the context surrounding that image, it's a wild west for crack theories and educated guesses. I have several ideas for what the scene could be about, and I think Kodaka's comment in an interview (translated by the lovely Asaka-Lucy) of that moment being "one of the more intense scenes" could have implications. Kodaka says they just threw that art in the collage at their Tokyo Game Show booth to cause a stir, so I don't truly know if it connects to all the art of character deaths alongside it. Yet the main theory that's come to my mind is that this is a dream Takumi is having after Eito permanently dies (for one reason for another, most likely while out exploring beyond the Undying Flames). It would explain why Takumi looks so... indifferent. Distant. He's staring into the misty eyes he'll never get to catch a glint of an inspired sparkle again, grazed by the gentle touch of bony fingers he'll never get to entwine between his own again. He's lost a future he'll never get to share with someone he cared so deeply for. War does not allow for intimacy. Vulnerable feelings let old and new wounds blossom so they can be ripped apart at the seams and reveal corrupted insides. It's not fair.

There's a best case scenario hiding within those 100 endings. We just have to fight for it.

At the current moment, sitting at 200k likes, is an AI video of president Zelensky kneeling to the prince of Saudi Arabia on TikTok. Almost every single person, despite how unnatural the movements were and the damn water mark in the corner, believed it to be real.

I think it’s very clear how gullible humans are becoming, and how dangerous that with AI being developed in such a way is as well. Want ai art as much as you want, sure whatever at the current moment thats a more contained issue, but ai developing realistic images and videos that can be caught by people who aren’t cautious? Or have good eyes? Unbelievably dangerous knowing that we have pedophiles, perverts, murders, criminals, liars, rapists, and over all assholes apart of this world.

Why can’t i use it??’ Because actions affect others no matter how small it is and whether you like it or not you live on a planet with other people whose actions ALSO affect you. To put it VERY simply, the cons are bigger than the pros. You are apart of a group, a group whose actions you can maintain if you do so properly, and a group whose actions you can let loose if you do not.

Does no one understand how unbelievably dangerous it is to have ai images and videos?? Ones that look realistic? The risks this could have in politics and countries relationships, how it could affect wars or evidence, or victims of situations, or people who don’t even KNOW their victims to such perversion? okay. So. This is gonna be a long one so buckle up. Basically, long story short, changing the entire industry and the way we consume music as a result. Charting won’t matter nearly so much, and promo will have a lot less of a monetary incentive.

pros: I hope on a site like tumblr this is pretty obvious. All people deserve a living wage and the whole broke musician sleeping in their car til they make it big stereotype excludes a lot of people and actually causes a lot of trauma that probably has something to do with the high mortality rate of musicians even after they make it. More people from poor backgrounds being able to do music ESPECIALLY in countries that are marginalised by the industry. A lot less ability for labels and managers to take advantage of people which we see all the time. Musicians can afford things like therapy and actual instruments and education without having to work another job even before they’ve made it big.

basically what I’m proposing is this: streaming services like spotify reverse their tiers of income to artist per stream and it’s more like tax brackets: the less streams you get, the more you earn per stream. until you can from one full length album earn enough to survive. you do earn marginally more the more it’s streamed so I don’t get yelled at too badly—but it’s like being in a higher tax bracket, you take home more in the end but the government or streaming company takes a higher portion, so it should be a win win situation. Ticket prices to shows are also capped but not unreasonably: you can still sell packages with VIP and merch there’s just a top price that’s only waivered if you do some charity donation with a percentage.

cons: need regulation to ensure streaming services don’t completely bar the work of lower performing artists (but remember they still take a cut. and if you get zero streams you still earn nothing so you will need some promo, just so the streaming services don’t get mad at me. I know that’s not quite UBI it’s the best I got sorry). there’s the whole idea that artists will make bad low effort songs just to get a high percentage of the cut of them—but refer to previous point, this may not be a problem. also, with so many good songs already there do you think people are genuinely gonna put in no effort? if you made a song that’s already a lot of effort. HOWEVER

there’s the possibility that the streaming services go out of business because bigger artists remove their music from them (bigger artists being their main source of revenue). I love Chat GTP it has helped me a lot!

BUT using to write entire essays now that is not right! Even the site itself says that some info might be wrong! And I have tested said theory during my creative writing brainstorming with Chat GTP, I have said something factually and historically wrong that is factually and historically correct and the chat run with it without correcting me, so that goes to show a lot! Having said that, 600 words (for me at least) it's not that hard to write but of course is all objective and subjective. I'm a very talkative person both on paper and in real life, so finding words it's easy for me, but I have found myself struggling to write essays when the topic I'm being asked to write about isn't in my wheelhouse and/or I don't give a flying fuck about or can delude myself to give a fuck about. So, I can see how Chat GTP can come in clutch when the aforementioned scenario takes place. Alas, Chat GTP is a helping tool not a one-solution-fits-all! You should use it to enrich or brainstorm your essays and even use to help you narrow down your essay if you tend to ramble in them!

From personal experiences I have been given to do an essay during my second degree (Filmmaking was my major) that I couldn't bring myself to care about in 2018 when Chat GTP didn't exist, the agonizing sensation I felt trying to research the material…my god I wanted to rage against everything! And the essay it was for me to read and watch Arthur Clarke's 2001 Space Odyssey and make comparisons between the book and the movie, highlight the directorial inputs and cinematography and the writing behind the book plus a mini deep-dive on the author of the book and director of the movie and actors and the cultural impact of both in our society, and the film industry, both artistically and technically. If I had Chat GTP back then I won't lie, I would have used it as some capacity but I wouldn't have used it to write my entire essay.

In addition, in 2023 I was given to do an essay in my third degree (Computer Science) and the topic of the essay was on AI; with the title and premise being AI and Humanity; The Pros, the Cons and the Future Maybes. I had kept the topic on educational, technical, governmental, industrial and medical with only honorable mentions on the artistic level because I was being too broad. It took me months to compile research and it was a topic I was very limited informed and I wasn't something I was that interested yet I wanted to learn more and saw the fun potential in learning more, but I was overwhelmed with amount of information and misinformation out there. Plus at the time they were HUGE developments in General AI, robotics based AI and Narrow AI that made me scrap my essay thrice! I was running out of deadline time and understanding of where and how I can compile all that and present it in just 20 minutes and to people who were above 50 years old with limited understanding in technology since that was my presenting audience. I was at a dead end and I asked one of my professors for help BUT found no help; I was told and I quote; "Go ask Chat GTP.".

I was appalled at the professor who would suggest such a thing instead of guide their student! And I grew so angry at him. And at the point, I hadn't used Chat GTP not once in my life at that time and I was doing an essay mentioning it, my little sister (age 21…yeah not so little but she is my baby sis even if she reached 100!) is and was set against and she had influenced my view on it too. So, out of spite towards my professor and curiosity I asked Chat GTP to help me shape up my essay to make it less rambling and it did help me! It unstuck me and helped calm my nerves and anxiety! It changed my perspective on Chat GTP and AI and I mentioned it in my presentation the next day. Mind you my presentation went swimmingly and my professor (not the one who told me to ask Chat GTP) requested to keep my essay as an example to show it to other younger students who were asked to do an essay on the same topic. I was honored!

And lastly, after that event, I used Chat GTP to teach myself more on the class of the professor who told me to ask Chat GTP, him and I couldn't see eye to eye since day one and his style of teaching triggered my ADHD (I'm diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia since I was six years old) and I couldn't keep up or understand him so I used my coursebook, Google, Chat GTP and various other blogs to teach myself Python programming and other thing on Computer Programming and Computer Network Technologies that this very same professor taught and again Chat GTP was a god-send. And now, in 2025, I'm teaching myself Copywriting using Chat GTP, videos on YouTube and blogs, it's a lot harder since I don't have a coursebook to guide me but again Chat GTP as a tool to enhance and keep me on a path is amazing!

But it won't and it shouldn't replace good old research both online and in books and new articles if that is possible for the topic of essay one is given! My late maternal grandma (a primary school teacher from 1950s to 1980s) used to say research is the cousin of learning and repetition of information learned is the mother of learning. And it's so true! And that is my two-cents on Chat GTP being used to author essays nowadays! Btw I'm 25 years old so not that old!
