Touchstarved Love Interest on a Hike

You and the touchstarved gang go on a forest hike. What could possibly go wrong? (I know this is really OOC, realistically they wouldn’t go on a hike together because the drama is crazy, but hey, it’s fun to imagine)

AIS

Doesn’t say much, but is enjoying the quality time. He lets the others take the reins because he trusts them.

Looks good wearing a T-shirt and shorts and lots of passersby check him out. Leander is not pleased.

The most physically built out of the five and doesn’t break a sweat even on the steep areas.

Can probably carry all the backpacks and still be fine, but won’t offer unless you beg him what a dick. Oh you want me to carry some of your stuff? No. Why? I don’t want to. In the end he would carry them for you.

Very unprepared. He just wore casual clothes and hiking shoes. Asking Kuras every 10 minutes if he can get a sip of his water or use his sunscreen.

Shows that he cares about the others when he slows his pace to match the slowest person in the group. It’s Vere. He listens to his complaining.

Looking out for any signs of danger.

Won’t take any pictures on the hike. If you try to take a picture with him he’ll either smile wickedly or lick your face for a reaction.

He’d get hungry and eats a poisonous mushroom even after Mhin pointed out that it was poisonous. Shrugs and throws away the mushroom cuz there was no flavor.

When he reaches the destination, he’d be impressed by the view and peacefully sit while drinking some oolong tea. Vere stole it from a hiker and gave it to him. How kind of him.

KURAS

Kuras likes to wander and discover new places so he said yes. He wasn’t pleased there would be other members Vere joining them. He tries to hide his distaste and focuses on the trail.

Is taken in by the nature and how the sun casts light between the trees and making a beautiful scenery. When a cool breeze passes and his hair flutters, it almost looks like their a forest fairy.

He brought extra water because he knew there would be somebody that would forget.

If he noticed you’re tired, he’d suggest that they’d take a break. Also brought a First Aid Kit if there was an accident. He’s a doctor; it would be embarrassing if he didn’t bring one.

The most elegant hiker. It’s very peculiar seeing him hiking because it looks like he’s gliding. He doesn’t break a sweat and has an amused look on his face the entire time. What is he thinking?

Walks beside Mhin and listens to them talking about random biology facts. Is very interested in what they have to say and will even point out at herbs as they pass by them.

Ignores Vere who keeps making backhanded comments about him from behind. Will keep quiet about a ditch, root, or a spider up ahead. Smiles when he hears Vere scream behind him.

He’d probably come back again by himself or with one extra person, either Mhin or MC.

LEANDER

99% chance that this whole thing was his idea. He’s an active guy and likes to spend time with others. He’d probably done the hike a number of times before.

The one leading. He’s prepared and has all the basic necessities, even things you wouldn’t think of. He caters to your needs the most. If you ask if anyone has x y and z, he’d be the first to offer it. He wants to be relied on and show he’s a competent man!

Acts as the “trail leader” of the group. Has a map in hand.

He whistles when he isn’t talking.

Highly susceptible to bug bites.

Notices that the group is functioning in pairs, Mhin with Kuras and Vere with Ais. He’d feel like a third wheel and will talk to you the most. Will get mopey if you talk to somebody else. If you notice he’s been quiet, join him at the front and talk to him and he’d be overwhelmed with joy.

Puts on a lot of deodorant and the others try not to cringe at the smell. Mhin or Vere would point it out and he’d laugh, but he’s dying inside.

Gets competitive when a bunch of hikers giggle to themselves over Ais. Oh wow is it getting hot out here, let me just take off my shirt and show off my sculpted abs. Ais knows exactly what he’s doing and side-eyes him.

When he reaches the destination, he tries to makes a speech about how proud he is of everyone and yada yada, nobody is listening and doing their own thing. He’s distraught. At least the view is nice.

MHIN

Doesn’t like anyone there except for Kuras and MC (Leander is tolerable).

Gets fed up really quickly with Vere’s complaining and Leander’s nonsensical chatter.

The one covered up the most because they get easily sunburnt.

Brought a gallon full of ice cold water and would not share.

Surprisingly agile and has high endurance.

Super unlucky, would step on the weirdest sh*t on the hike.

Enjoys the wildlife around them. Points out at things they’ve read in books. Will get really deep into it if you reciprocate the interest.

Keeping track of the map because they don’t trust Leander. Has caught him going the wrong direction a few times.

Looking out for danger #2.

Munches on plain crackers when they get hungry and looks like a hamster. If you point it out you’ll get stabbed.

Once at the destination, they try to find a souvenir rock. If you ask them what they’re doing they’ll shoo you away. If you give them a nice rock you found, they’d carefully analyze it before thanking you with a small blush.

VERE

He is not happy to be here. And he will make it clear from the very start.

High chance that he said yes cuz Ais was going.

Can’t stand listening to Kuras and Mhin being nerds and Leander talking about the time he almost got married to a middle-aged nun. HUH?! HOW DO YOU EVEN DO THAT-

Complains and super snarky at the very beginning, but gradually starts to quieten down due to fatigue.

Stealing stuff from fellow hikers just for the heck of it.

The best dressed hiker. Many people are in awe how sexy he looks. And yes, he made one of his admirers buy it for him. He will wear it once and then throw it away.

Sweat gives him that natural glow :0

Vere WON’T forget about the sunscreen and bug spray. He won’t let a hike ruin his skin for the rest of the week.

Does not look out for danger, IS the danger.

Rare sight of Vere with a high ponytail. Ais grabs him by the pony tail when he wants his attention.

Once he reaches the site, he’s going to take a quick nap under a shade. You can join him, but be wary.

Chapter 5 

Eddie’s POV

Eddie didn’t want to admit it at the time, but he was so nervous about having you over. Sure, you were over every weekend and usually it was the two of you alone, but never were you staying in his room. You always stayed in the living room or kitchen, both of you out in the open. He had sort of asked you in a spur of the moment need of a distraction. He would usually bother Nancy or Steve, but Nancy was headed to visit her little brother in the nearby town, while Steve had planned on sleeping over at Rob’s for their weekly movie nights. So he asked you, which wasn’t usually a big deal. But Eddie didn’t just like you or think you were cool. Eddie thought you were gorgeous. He often shook off the thoughts because he knew you were often stretched thin with both of your jobs and he was on the verge of failing a course, a relationship out of the cards for both of you. Plus, Eddie knew you were such an exemplary student and a high achiever. He was embarrassed to admit he felt ‘lesser’ around you sometimes due to being a ‘super senior’ in high school and being older than you despite you both being Sophomores. Sure, being 22 in comparison to being 19 or 20 wasn’t a whole lot, but Eddie still felt some shame. 

Eddie raced around his room after his quick shower, panicking and trying to tidy the place a bit. He wasn’t extremely messy, just often disorganized. He hid his cuffs and ropes which had been left out after a previous encounter, along with putting away clothes and trying to make the room at least look presentable. You were headed to your dorm to grab some clothes and such, sure to be headed his way soon. When Eddie could finally see the floor and felt secure in knowing his special toys were in their box and shoved under the bed, he began to calm a bit. 

Well…at least for a bit. But then his thoughts began to wander. 

Did you wear a bra to bed? Would you be okay with sharing the bed? Or should I take the couch? Would you cuddle? What if you did, without a bra, and- Shit. 

Eddie sat at his desk, his cock half hard, mind swirling with sinful images picturing you without a bra, one of his t-shirts on you. He imagined the way your breasts would move without the restrictive fabric, the way they’d feel against him with only a thin layer between the two of you. His cheeks flushed as he groaned softly, trying to shake the thoughts away. Eddie sighed and looked toward his phone, cursing himself for not thinking this through. He’d have to be cautious so as to not be so turned on with you here. 

He saw his cracked screen light up, his heart thumping at the sight. He picked up the phone, able to read the message despite his very fucked up cell. 

Bug: On my way!

He sighed softly and decided to head into the kitchen, readying the movies and snacks. There were sour gummies for you and chocolates for him, along with a bowl of popcorn and sodas and beer. He laid them out while staring at the movies he had picked. Most were cheesy retro slashers, both of you bonding one weekend over a love for goofy horror films like Killer Klowns From Outer Space and Frankenhooker. Eddie rented both films and was excited to giggle with you over the campiness of it all. He had placed all the snacks on the coffee table and made the movies ready to go when you knocked on his door, surprising him. 

He came up, opening the door, only to feel his chest tighten and his cheeks heat. 

You stood there, face free of the makeup you sported earlier, and clothes much more casual, a pair of pajama bottoms and an oversized shirt on your upper half, sneakers on your feet. You smelled fresh, like you had quickly showered and washed off all the sweat you had built up that night. But Eddie was really flushed at how gorgeous you still were dressed down. He also noticed one thing he knew he would have to pretend he wasn’t noticing. 

You didn’t wear a bra. 

You beamed at him, your smile causing the rest of the blood not already there to travel lower and his stomach to flutter. 

“You gonna let me in, Munson?” You joked, eyes glittering with mischief. 

Eddie stepped aside, grinning sheepishly, ushering you in. 

Good God, he was fucked. 

You and Eddie sat down on the couch, giggling at the ridiculousness of Killer Klowns and Eddie doing his best to make you laugh at his impersonations. By the end of the third film of the night (which had been Elvira Mistress of the Dark, whom you and Eddie both had a crush on as kids), you were both crashing from your sugar high and yawning, with you rubbing your eyes sleepily. Eddie ushered you to the bathroom, letting you brush your teeth and wash your face. You used the restroom, only to groan and open the door, clearly looking embarrassed. 

“Eddie…I may have to go home.” 

Eddie walked over, frowning down at you. Only your head was peaking out of the bathroom, only leaving him to guess what was wrong. 

“What’s wrong, Bug?” 

You looked like you wanted to melt into the floor, making Eddie’s stomach twist. Were you okay? He felt a sense of fear wash over him as he worried that maybe he pushed you too far. 

“Y-yeah…I just, ugh, I- I got my period,” You mumbled, looking away. 

Eddie felt a wave of relief and sighed, smiling softly at you. “Oh thank God. I have stuff in the bottom cabinet closest to the toilet. So don’t worry about it. But I’ll drive you back if you feel uncomfortable.” 

You looked up in surprise and smiled softly, still looking a bit embarrassed. “Oh. Okay…Uh, I’ll-I’ll try to stay.” 

Eddie smiled and went back into his room, changing into his comfortable sweats and loose cut off Metallica shirt. He was in the process of fluffing his pillows when you came in, looking at him inquisitively. 

“What?,” He cocked his head at you, confused. 

“What’s up with the minor convenience store in your bathroom cabinet?,” You teased, sitting on the bed by him. 

Eddie froze up. You were referring to ‘the baskets’. Eddie would be honest, he knew he ‘got around’. He used sex in college as a form de-stress, a way to break away. He started last year as a freshman when he discovered that girls and guys alike in Hawkins liked rough around the edges men who wore makeup and played in bands. In high school, Eddie was ‘The Freak’ and consistently treated like some kind of weirdo. But in Hawkins? He was viewed as a devil's food cake, delectable and sinful. The ‘baskets’ had started as a little thing that Eddie did when having people over, so he could be the most amazing host. There was shampoo, deodorant, tampons, pads, midol, ibuprofen, salve, and more in the little gray tubs, all organized and neat. The ‘baskets’ were split into masculine and feminine products, seeing as Eddie swung either way. He wasn’t ashamed of it, but felt something stir in his stomach about you knowing about his hookups. He hadn’t had many once meeting you, aside from Chrissy a few times. But she never came over, and he’d truly slept with her maybe 3 times. 

“It’s…Uh,” Eddie scratched the back of his neck sheepishly, looking away. “It’s for when people come over.” 

You nodded, looking away nonchalantly before your eyes began to grow wide in realization, probably remembering the morning after pills stashed beside the period products. Eddie felt his stomach twist as you laughed a little, your eyes glinting with mischief. 

“Eddie. Darling. Light of my life. You have a Hookup Basket?!,” You giggled, looking over at him in shock as he pouted. 

“Hey, I just want to make sure people are comfortable when they are here,” He defended himself weakly, blushing red. 

“Eddie Munson, you are a manwhore. Lovingly, you are such a manwhore. This is the first time I have ever heard of a hookup basket,” You teased, Eddie pouting at you. 

He hit you softly with a pillow before getting up and heading to the bathroom, cheeks still red as apples. 

“Whatever,” He grumbled, pouting still. 

“Be sure to floss, manwhore,” You teased, leaving Eddie to groan in the bathroom as he brushed his teeth. 

You’d never let him live this down. 

Eddie sat in his bed next to you in the middle of the night, mind racing. He was woken up by a nightmare of failing all his classes, only to show up at a party naked, both you and Chrissy there laughing at him. It was a silly nightmare, truly, but Eddie couldn't help but be terrified of the reality. He was staring at his phone and reading a book when you sleepily sat up, eyes barely opened. Eddie would’ve thought it was the cutest thing ever if he wasn’t still panicking over his life choices. 

“Eds? What’re you doing up?,” You grumbled, eyes squinting at him in the dark. Your voice was slurred and drowsy still. 

“Jus’ had a nightmare ‘s all…Go back to sleep, Bug,” Eddie whispered softly. 

You sat up a bit, frowning at him. “Nightmare? Is everything okay?” 

Eddie sighed, putting down his phone and looking at you. The room was dark, only the dim light of the moon shining through the blinds to let him make out where you were. His chest felt tight. Maybe he could tell you what was wrong. 

“Have you ever wondered if you made the right choice? Or whether or not everyone was actually right in what they said about you?,” Eddie asked, heart thumping. He didn’t feel like you would relate, but he still wanted to get his feelings out. You stared at him silently, eyes begging him to continue. 

“I spent all this time in high school struggling only to finally make it to college at 20 and fail. I hate my fucking major, but going into just music is ‘impractical’ and I’m just going to wind up flunking and dropping out, disappointing Uncle Wayne by turning into my father-” Eddie was surprised by the blurred vision and tears falling down his face. His voice was cracking and shaking. He hadn’t spoken to anyone about this really, not even Steve. 

Eddie felt you grab his hand, softly squeezing. He sighed, tried to regulate his breathing, before continuing. 

“I almost signed up for Music Therapy when I first applied here. But everyone I spoke to suggested Production. Wayne, my advisor. And even the idea sounded cool. I could earn money and get to work with big names I love or meet new ones and help make music. But…god…it feels so soulless. I feel dread walking into those classes and the only thing that has kept me going is guitar or those snotty and bratty kids I teach at The Ghost Note, “ Eddie laughed humorlessly. His hands were shaking as tears still fell down his cheeks slowly. “I just don’t know what to do. I’m supposed to be the first gen student. I don’t want all of Wayne’s work to be for nothing.” 

You stayed quiet for a moment, rubbing the back of Eddie's hand soothingly before speaking. 

“Look, Eds…I don’t know much about music or even production. But what I do know is that you are an amazing teacher. I see your eyes light up when I finally nail something and…honestly? It’s an amazing feeling. And sure, you’re older than most sophomores, but who cares? Some people don’t get a degree until they’re like 40! And you’re blazing the trail for your family. Honestly, I think you’d do amazing in Music Therapy or Education. And plenty of people change their major. Don’t just stick to it because it’s ‘practical’. You deserve to love what you do, Eddie Munson. And no matter what you decide, whether it’s that you want to drop everything and suddenly move to California and be a rockstar, or you want to teach ‘snotty nose brats’ how to use music as an outlet like you do, I’ll be proud.” 

Eddie felt his heart be squeezed and his stomach twist. Could he follow his heart? You sure made it seem so. Eddie had always assumed he needed to ‘man up’ and do what was needed, but you made it seem so easy. Maybe he could turn this around. 

“Thanks, Bug.” 

“You’re welcome, Stinky. Now go the hell to sleep, you barely get enough as it is,” You yawned, laying back down and still facing Eddie. 

Eddie scrunched up his nose, frowning. “Stinky? What the hell do you mean? You always ramble about how I smell like apple pie!” 

You giggled softly, face already nestled in the pillow. “You definitely farted in your sleep at one point. I heard it when I woke up to go pee.” 

Eddie felt his cheeks heat to unimaginable degrees as he huffed and laid down, turning his back to you. “Liar. I did not,” He grumbled. 

You sighed, laughing a little before tugging gently at his messy bun. “Go the hell to sleep, Stinky. We can debate your farts tomorrow.” 

Eddie tried to keep a pout on his face but couldn’t stop the slight smile as he heard you begin to doze off before him, your light snores filling his room. 

He’d tease you about it in the morning.

[with heavy sarcasm] oh no, not someone asking me to discuss one of my favorite fic ideas, the absolute horror

after a terribly unfortunate incident (donnie learns he has a breeding kink and doesn't check to see if the two of you are biologically compatible before enjoying it, thoroughly, over a long period of time) it is discovered that you are pregnant. oops

after a days-long conversation where he freaks out because he's terrified about your safety when he runs some tests and the fetus is very much going to be a turtle with a shell inside of you, the two of you decide to... try. to try and keep it. it feels a bit like a miracle, after all, though he's very very careful to monitor the entire time. and well he should, as it's a difficult pregnancy; they actually end up taking her out a little early and putting her in an egg-like incubator for the last month or so when he starts getting concerned about some pain you're having.

the two of you name her lavinia, after splinter's naming conventions. but very quickly, mikey shortens that to lavi. she's very much a softshell turtle mutant, but she has your smile and (as she grows older) black hair just like papa splinter from having more human DNA.

lavi is the actual poster child of being a daddy's girl. from birth, she favors him for almost everything: being held, being fed, being bathed; if donnie's not doing it or close, she's fussy.

donnie is the actual poster child of being the world's most obnoxious father in the entire world. he's that guy who will insert his kid into every conversation, bending or even snapping its relevance to shoehorn her in. he has pictures upon pictures. videos of lavi doing absolutely nothing except being cute.

and she is so fucking cute. but she's also a bit of a demon, just like her father. wicked smart and always getting into trouble. worse still, if she gets caught, she just looks at donnie with big eyes like 🥺 and it's over. she's not getting in trouble.

lavi also really loves her uncle raph, and she has taken to stealing his catch phrases because she thinks they're funny. you have a video on your phone of her running agilely away from donnie with something very fragile and important, giggling and yelling 'stealing LIKE A BOSS' as donnie chases her, teeth clenched and hands outstretched, going 'lavi, dearest, sweetest little bug whomst i love endlessly and forever, please give that back to papa Right. Now.'

her favorite uncle tho is probably uncle leo. he has cool comic books and watches fun tv shows. she likes to climb onto his shell and curl up to take a nap. a picture of leo crying the first time she did that remains your contact photo for him for a long, long time.

this whole au is just an excuse for me to dump cute headcanons about donnie being the best dad in the world and no one has stopped me yet, so. yeehaw

The type of person to make stupid songs out of anything, and you eventually started to join in without hesitation

He loves watching movies, especially horror, and has a tradition of watching them on his birthday

Though he is a great brother, he was a certified menace when you were a little kid: convincing you that you're from the jungle, or that you're an alien

You've designated him as your personal chef; he could pursue culinary if he really wanted to

If being annoying as hell was a job, he'd be a fucking billionaire. He always finds a way to tick you off, intentional or not

He's a younger sibling, for sure (yes ik he also canonically is, but it's also so obvious when he's with Yuuji & Nobara)

He'll sometimes randomly blurt something out just to see confusion wash over your face; thinks your expressions are the funniest thing in the world

Speaking of which, he also opens your door just to stare at you before closing it, stifling laughter as he walks away

He's secretly competitive. You always catch him huffing and giving you death stares after losing in a round of Uno

Gets second-hand embarrassment from anything you do in public. It would be over the most ordinary thing too, like accidentally dropping a fruit in the grocery store

His curt character paired with his insults can either have you wheezing until you physically can't, or it can be the biggest stab at your ego

Loves going on walks: he enjoys the scenery, and it helps to clear his mind of stress. He'll most likely be out for 30 minutes just aimlessly strolling through the neighborhood

Has a hobby of analyzing music & films and loves to explain it to you. He's very attentive when it comes to literature/symbolism

He's a typical younger sibling, but you wouldn't have it any other way

Some HCs for Sammy Brody (Chase's kid) :3!!

(we're living under delusion here where everything is fine and nothing bad happened to anyone)

-currently Sammy is 9!

- Stacy is "Mam", Chase "Dad" and Henrik is "Pa"

-She uses she/her but hasn't thought about it so doesn't mind too much

-Super outdoorsy, she loves animals and the woods! (Stacy, Chase and Henrik have spent god knows how long trying to make sure she's safe while she's constantly running towards very not safe animals)

-She looks fairly similar to both Stacy and Chase, but most notably is that she got Stacy's hair and Chase's freckles

-She is probably what would be considered a "weird kid" with her lack of fear surrounding bugs and generally creepy stuff, while also leaning towards being a bit more stereotypically masculine (she does like ""girly"" things like dolls and sewing and shit- she just currently seems to present more masculine most of the time)

-She thinks of Jackie and Marvin as her uncles. Jackie is probably the throuples best babysitter (Marvin is not but he makes an exception for Sammy specifically because she drew him a nice picture and also told them that his hair is nice)

-practically begged to have her hair dyed "like mam's is" and Stacy had to painfully explain how she couldn't because of school rules- which led to a very genuine conversation about how school doesn't always have the best idea for every kid unfortunately

-they did make the promise that as soon as they left highschool their graduation gift would be to have their hair properly dyed

-Sammy absolutely adores all kinds of art and is always super excited when they find a new thing to do with art (Chase loves showing her concept art for his favourite games and Stacy loves showing her art such as nail design, tattoos fashion etc. Henrik takes her to art museums and galleries that have new art come in fairly regularly, there's one they always go too on the weekends for their kids interactive areas but Henrik always keeps an eye out for something she might like).

- like 99% of kids Sammy BEGGED for a pet. Except she really really wanted a pet tarantula. It took. A lot of convincing. But eventually they got her one (and much to everyone's surprise it's not as terrifying, especially when you have a 9 year old telling all the cool things about it)

- the tarantulas name is Jonathan btw. No one knows why but that's what Sammy insisted on.

- her favourite colour is purple and her favourite dinosaur is the Raptors (specifically the ones from the original Jurassic Park film)

- Chase (the absolute nerd he is) basically started showing her as many films he grew up with as soon as she was capable of seeing shapes basically. (This consists of everything between Jurassic Park, Alien, Indiana Jones, the original Star Wars Films, The Shining, etc) ((Chase Brody is a film nerd and I stand by that))

-Sammy also really likes animation! Her current favourite show is The Owl House and she relates to Luz a lot!!!

-She also loves Halloween! It's her favourite holiday! She isn't sure why her dad's seem upset around that time of year though, but Stacy takes her out trick or treating and she always has the best costumes!!!

Something that has been bugging me. Yes, Manuel is an honest man, but that does not mean that he is a good one. He is also very naive if he thinks going to the police would do him or Nacho any good. And no, I don’t blame him for not preventing Nacho from getting in the game, but one could… 

He waited outside the house for a bit once the man to arrived and entered before he slid out of his car and walked towards the door. Opening it was childsplay and he found Varga Senior in the kitchen, sitting at the table with some pre-cooked meal, it was pitiful. The whole situation was just sad. But Salamancas did not do sad and he was here to set the record straight so he could move one. No, so they could move one.

As expected the old man started to protest and threaten with the police, and wasn’t that just a running theme? But showing off the gun tucked away in Lalo’s waistband sufficed to make him shut up, and sit down.

Lalo sat down and watched him for a moment, the stubborn expression that was so often mirrored on Nachitos face, then he took out the fake ID he took from his beloved safe and placed it on the table. The reaction was instant “I won’t run…” “Si, si, si I know,” Lalo interrupted him, “You are an honorable and stupid man.” Manuel huffed in indignation and Lalo leaned forwards on the table to look at the man's face “You don’t think you’re stupid? Hm?” The cold glare that earned him shot a spart of fondness through his chest, yeah that was where his cariño got that from, so cute. “See,” he sprawled back again, “I think you are either stupid, or very misinformed. And I want to know which it is. So you will have” he waved his hand at the cooling plate “whatever that is, and we will talk, and then I will leave. All very civilized, entendido?” not expecting an answer he went on “See your son loves you very much, but I’m not sure you love him, since all you ever tell him is to die. Ah ah ah, “ he stopped Manuel’s protest in its tracks “Civilized, remember? Don’t be rude, I am talking now, you’ll get your turn.”

He picked up the ID off the table and looked at it for a moment before leaning back in the chair “Now where was I? Ah yes, wondering why you want Ignatio to die, or maybe you don’t, maybe you think he is such a chingon? That all he needs is to go to la tira tell them all he knows and they can take down the entiiiiire” he spreads his arms to emphasize the word “cartel. You think that, hm? You think he knows so much that the DEA and the federales can just arrest and convict every single cartel member, eh? No? Hm?” he picked up the ID again turning it between his fingers.”No, I don’t think so. Which only leaves stupid you see. What do you think would happen if he followed your advice? He goes in, they arrest him. He can give them some of the ground operations, my cousin, yes but, hell, he can’t even give them all of Albuquerque! He can’t give them enough for witness protection,” he leans forward again lowering his voice “He can give them just enough to piss the cartel off. And what then?” Hm?.” He sits back and lets the silence that fills the room speak for itself for a while. The now cold food looked even worse than before. Slowly he took a knife from his pocket and slid it open. “I can tell you what, first they would someone here. Someone mean and creative, some who took their time and then some pictures.” he starts to clean his nails with the knife, “And then they would send those to poor Nachito, all locked up and alone. You think they could not get to him inside? You think those pigs would protect him?” his spits a bitter laugh “They couldn’t and they wouldn’t. Your son would sit there with pictures of his bloodied and broken Papa, and they would leave him alive for just long enough for the pain to really sink in. And then someone would shiv him, probably in a bathroom. Spill his blood before he can even appear in court to give his statement. That, “ he points the knife at the older man ”is what it means to be an honest man in this life.”

Manuel remains stoic, a copy of his son then finds his voice “That is the life he chose.”

“But you didn’t stop him, isn’t that what a good honest man would have done?”

“He is a man grow.” the old man insists “He was only sixteen when we got him.” Lalo slimes serenely as he drops that bomb, watching the fight drain out of Varga Senior and being replaced by shock. “Wasn’t he still your responsibility back then? Yours to make a good and honest man out of him? Hm?” There was no answer and he didn’t expect one, he plucked the ID from the table and leaned forward. “An honest man would go to the policia but a good man, a good man would see the pain and despair in his son's face and he would go with him. But you didn’t, so here is what will happen. I will make Ignatio a deal, you will be safe and he will be mine.” he smiled waiting if the old man would say something. Nothing came so he cut a strip off the ID “He will be mine to take care of and protect” another cut “and you will be a thing of the past “and another cut “left behind for your own safety” and yet another cut “and most importantly for mi cariños peace of mind. He does not need your petty judgment, the postering of a man who could not keep his own son save when it counted and would not sacrifice his precious pride when his son begged.” he finished cutting and put the knife away.

“Don’t look so gloom suegro!” he pushed himself off the chair and stepped behind Manuel, placing his hands on the man's shoulder and leaning down “I’ll take of our Nachito, he will want for nothing, I promise.” he moved to leave the house but stopped and turned around at the door “You had your chance, now I’ll have mine, don’t mess this up for me papa. It would break Ignacio’s heart if anything would happen to you but there are always accidents, eh?”

He left with a pep in his step, he’ll cook something special tomorrow, offer his father's safety to Nachito and enjoy his gratitude. Something to look forward to.

Scenario: Boyfriend AU, Romance, Angst, fluff at the end

Gunil:

You should probably just expect this exact face from him

Gun-il would be PISSED

He sees another person flirting with you

They're dead

He's gonna become super clingy to you

Calling you every pet name in the book

Just to let this person know

You are already spoken for

The person will eventually get the hint

But now he's slightly hurt by you

And it's making him mad all over again

You two will have to talk it out

"Come on Y/N that person was totally flirting with you!"

Its gonna end up in an argument

But then when you see how hurt he is

You realize that you were in the wrongs

And you gently wrap your arms around him

Gun-il wraps his arms around your waist tightly

So, you know how the Four Sword can split it wielder into four? I’ve done some thinking on what I think the other Link’s “Colors” would be:

Time

Green: very determined with a bit of spunk (think Time like mid-quest), name is Sprout

Red: Time’s inner child! His name is Apple :)

Blue: a more young-adult Time, very bitter at the world and distrusting of others, named Frost

Violet: completely time-obsessed Time, like to the point where he’s counting almost everything almost all the time, name is Chronos

All of Time’s Colors except Blue appear as Young Link (their tunic colors change), and Blue is Adult Link but not as old as Time

Sky

Green: the picture of a Skyloftian knight, honor and determination and everything else, his name is Leaf

Red: Sky but completely head over heels for Zelda (more than normal), like it’s ridiculous, his name is Crimson

Blue: so you know all the angry Sky fics/art? That’s him. That’s this guy. His name is Storm and he is terrifying.

Violet: very analytical and statistic-y Sky, almost like Fi but not quite. His name is Code

Sky’s Colors look like Sky, but their Sailcloths are different colors

Wind

Green: a hero who is doing his best to be brave and help people, and very protective of those he sees as family, name is Palm

Red: wide-eyed and in awe of pretty much anything (he’s a kid) but also insecure about the way he got his heroic status, name is Minnow

Blue: a pirate in every sense of the word, he swears a lot and doesn’t have a problem with stealing, name is Sailor

Violet: he’s an engineer! A smart boy who’s good with trains and steam and stuff, his name is Tracks

Green: Legend the Hero, still tired and not super trusting but has a very strong sense of honor, named Thorn

Red: post-LA Legend, very musically inclined but also very sad, his name is Cadenza

Violet: very puzzle-oriented and clever, good at thinking up creative ways to solve problems but bad at feelings, named Gear

Green: textbook hero. He idolized Time and Legend (previous heroes) a lot, so he’s as heroic as heroic can get, his name is Courage

Red: a very guilty and easily scared Hyrule, extremely squeamish with blood and terrified of monsters, name is Stitch

Blue: distrusting of anything new, always assuming his situation is a trap, quick to see others as threats, name is Shield

Violet: absolutely fascinated with anything natural and new, he takes notes on like flowerbuds and cool bugs that aren’t poisonous (that’s new for him), his name is Quill

Tunic colors are different

Wild

Green: very intent on saving anyone and everyone who needs it because he couldn’t do it before, his name is Brush

Red: just absolutely insane. This man has no impulse control and oh god he is a force of nature also his name’s Autumn

Blue: a knight with a black-and-white view of the world and of honor, despises anything remotely evil, name is Champion

Violet: very creative and thinks of weird solutions for problems by using his Runes and physics and what not, name is Rune

They also have different tunic colors and matching earrings

Warriors

Green: very determined and eager to improve himself, sometimes to the point of overwork and collapsing, name is Squire

Red: protective of the other heroes because he hates they had to fight, quick to save his friends but a bit overconfident, name is Flame

Blue: very stern and mean war general (the persona Warriors had to use sometimes during the war), takes nothing from no-one, name is Cobalt

Violet: extremely good at strategizing and coming up with plans, very cautious of betrayal, name is Chess

Their scarves and tunics change colors

Twilight

Green: big brother Twi! Literally it’s him with the big brother instincts and country accent turned up to the max, his name is Oak

Red: a very sad boy (Midna, you know how it is) with attachment issues, but he is very fond of animals, his name is Sunset

Blue: literally feral Twilight, he is a wolf in a Hylian body like this guy is nuts, his name is Snarl

Violet: the side of Twilight that works for Dusk—very serious, calm and collected, stonefaced, his name is Regal

The sash on Twi’s waist changes colors and so do the tattoos on his forehead

Taichi & Agumon

Taichi singing to Daisuke (or maybe the whole new squad) about how they're taking over the original kids' legacy. The lyrics make him sound very wise.

Took me a second to adjust and picture Taichi singing this because his VA kinda sounds like a granny lol

This had very "Mufasa talking to Simba" vibes. The chorus was catchy and empowering.

Agumon Ondo - Agumon (listen here - subbed)

Agumon singing about how he needs/wants to eat a bunch to grow big and strong. Also, apparently he dances to help digestion lol.

Agumon talking to random kids during the song and then having them sing along was adorable. Also made me feel old.

Yamato & Gabumon

The Key to Granting Wishes - Yamato (listen here - subbed)

A cheesy shounen song about following your heart and friendship and what not. Comparing it to Yamato's image song from the first season, you can see he's grown past his emo, lone wolf phase.

Wasn't crazy about the song itself, but the music was great, especially the guitar solo. Had a nice bombastic intro too.

It's Alright - Gabumon (listen here & translation here)

Gabumon singing about his bond with Yamato. They both hide behind facades (Yamato's coolness, Gabumon's fur) and are misunderstood. I feel like this was a lot stronger as a character song than Yamato's solo song.

Gabumon's one of the quieter digimon so hearing him sing is a treat!

A touching (and CHEESY) ballad between Yamato and Gabumon about all the good times they've had together. It had strong drunken karaoke vibes haha.

Although cheesy, the lyrics did warm my heart a bit :') I think digimon/partner bonds get to me more than human/human bonds.

Koushiro & Tentomon

Open Mind - Koushiro (listen here - subbed)

Meh, not a fan of this one. I felt like the lyrics were clunky and didn't flow well with the song's melody.

The song is about Koushiro learning new things about himself and his emotions through his journey in the digital world. Even though I didn't like it, I'm happy to hear Koushiro's voice again :')

Dengeki Rhapsody - Tentomon (listen here - subbed)

Tentomon 😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️ I love him so much. This song was really cute and plucky. Basically just Tentomon singing about being a good partner and appreciating Koushiro.

The only thing that bugged me (hehe) about this one is that it implied that Tentomon is always obsessing over food but like...I don't remember that ever happening?

The Scenery of the World! - Koushiro & Tentomon duet (listen here - subbed)

Another banger! Mostly just because I love these two and relate to Koushiro's passion so much. He's singing about how excited he is to absorb all of the world's knowledge and to see the whole world with Tentomon. Koushiro would make a good librarian haha. I too have strong urges to learn everything ever (currently reading every page of Wikipedia).

Tentomon's part of the song is kind of exasperated but in a loving way. He sings about how Koushiro is always staying up late glued to his computer, but that he'll still always stick by his side and pep him up when he gets tired. So wholesome <3

Joe & Gomamon

Towards the Wind - Joe (listen here - subbed)

A lot of these solo songs have the same, general theme about growing as a person. I wonder if the vibe will be different for the younger 02 kids?

I liked the mellow vibe of this song. A nice, easy listen. Joe definitely has the most mature vibes of the gang, despite being dweeby.

Invincible Flutter Kick - Gomamon (listen here - subbed)

Gomamon singing about how helpless Joe is and how he'll always be them to protect him and lighten his load. So cute :3

News to me that Gomamon has an "invincible flutter kick" lol. I mean, I can picture it, but usually he just summoned fish.

Crawl the Sky - Joe & Gomaon duet (listen here - subbed)

Joe and Gomamon singing about their unlikely friendship. They balance each other out. I kind of wish the chorus wasn't the usual, cheesy "we can do anything if we're together!" lines. The first part of the song was a little stronger when they were comparing each other's characters.

These songs are making me wish I had a little buddy to explore the world with :'(

Mimi & Palmon

Super☆Girl - Mimi (Listen here - subbed)

Mimi singing about her personal growth. It was a pretty generic, motivational song about being brave to be yourself and not fear mistakes.

I do really enjoy how unabashedly girly Mimi is and her songs always reflect that.

A Little Pinkie's Fantasy - Palmon (Listen here - subbed)

This one was just weird. The lyrics were super awkward. I think they're alluding to a pinky promise when Palmon talks about a "pinkie's fantasy," but the metaphor doesn't really work. Also the line about glittering lips also seems like a non-sequitur.

I've never been a huge Palmon fan, so I think that's mostly why this one was no good for me. (She's also a little tone deaf lol).

Happy Smile - Mimi & Palmon (Listen here - subbed)

It's nice to hear a song where Mimi and Palmon are talking about their friendship cuz Mimi could honestly be kinda nasty to Palmon in the anime lol.

Some of the lyrics in this were a little clunky (they basically said stuff like "fun things are fun!" "Smiling is nice!" "Pretty things are good!") but I liked the sentiments about distance not weakening their bond. That resonates with me as an adult who doesn't have many opportunities to see my friends in person.

Sora & Piyomon

okay the thing is. they both have the potential to be equally good and bad drivers. venti can guide dvalin but he totally couldn't drive a waverider. aether could be decent at the waverider but he'd crash the dragon. they both could suck too.

venti can cook like 5 recipes total. hes pretty good at those, but like. only those. aether should definitely open a restaurant but they also like it sometimes when venti tries to cook. more often than not however aether makes dinner and ventis not complaining

aethers kinda neutral about it? there are times and things he could bare but ehhh. but he likes holding ventis hand a lot so he leans slightly more towards PDA. venti wants to kiss his boyfriend and its a free (and his) country so. but he definitely takes care to only do it when aethers comfortable. i feel like he only uses the really sentimental petnames alone though too. like 'my darling honorary knight' in front of people and 'my starfell apostle' or smth equally sappy and weird at home

I first followed you and everyone else I follow because we share at least one common issue and because we also share similar interests (I have missed your posts about bugs you find). After I followed you, I then saw your selfies. I had to decide if I would continue to follow a kindred human being and risk the perception I follow you only for what you have in your shirt. I have said to you that if I would look like you, I would transition without hesitation -- but this would be a weak defense, should I need to justify following you despite your body. I recommended that a friend of mine should follow you, also before I saw your selfies (I mostly check to see if a tumblr has shared interests and does not flood my dash to the point of obscuring my other friends, and this has proven inadequate), and now I worry if this friend may assume my recommendation was the result of boobies and not the wonderful person you are. The way Hector and Hilary talk about their kids and how proud they are of how they're growing up, it makes Ophelia... uncomfortable. Parents can be like this?

Ophelia: Yeah, sorry. I'm not used to being around families that like each other. It's weird.

Drew: Tell me about it. My older brother still calls me a boogerhead.

Drew: Look, I don't know your deal. It's probably worse than being called a boogerhead. Either way, you're an honorary part of the Let Them Eat Cake family now. Moses and I are your new dads.

Ophelia: Aren't there gender neutral parent names?

Drew: Yeah, but Dad feels right.

Ophelia comes back in to play some arcade games with Xander and the kids. It's boys vs. girls!

Xander: Eat our intergalactic dust!

Jace: Go, Uncle Xander!

Ophelia: Aw, come on! This game's rigged!

Greta: Maybe you just suck.

Ophelia: I should introduce you to my friend Summer.

Greta: Ah! We're in the lead!

Perfect Stranger: Noah Schnapp

We’ve been teased enough by his character’s appearance in the first season of Stranger Things, but actor Noah Schnapp promises a whole lot of weirder things happening next season, now that he’s in the picture.

Not a lot of 12-year-olds spend their day like how actor Noah Schnapp would normally spend his. His life is now a mix of his definition of normal and crazy. Starting his day with breakfast and a photo shoot perfectly contrasts his summer trip to Camp Echo Lake, wherein he got to spend time with his friends for seven weeks before starting a good amount of promo, advertisement, and photo shoot requirements. Everything suddenly turned out to be a bit of a whirlwind for Noah when Netflix’s original sci-fi hit Stranger Things aired, where he plays Will Byers, the kid who was lost and eventually found; although when he was saved from the Upside Down, something wasn’t quite right.

Noah caught the acting bug when he saw Annie on Broadway. “I remember watching the show and I really loved it. When I saw the main character on Broadway acting on stage, I really felt like I wanted to be on that stage. I wanted to be in front of the audience and not be one of the audience,” Noah recalls. At 7 years old, he took acting classes mainly for fun; however, as he progressed, he grew to love what he was doing and realized that he could actually make a career out of it. “My teacher recommended that I try getting into the acting industry—that’s when I started auditioning for several roles,” shares Noah. Two years ago, he landed the role as the voice of Charlie Brown in The Peanuts Movie, which he thought was an enjoyable thing to do. “I think it’s awesome when you’re voicing a cartoon character because you get to work one-on-one in a small booth with a director. He’s right there in front of you the whole time, guiding you while you’re saying your lines, which you can do as many times as you want until you get it right. You can be crazy and take a lot of roles,” he says.

Next came what threw Noah in together with a bunch of kids to become some of the brightest pop culture stars of the moment. He reminisces how he met some of the casts of Stranger Things two and a half years ago. “I met them one after the other in different places. I met Caleb [McLaughlin] in LA for the first time, and I met all the other kids on set one by one.

Everyone flew in on different days. We all didn’t know each other and we just knew that we were making this small show for one season. And we would shoot like forever; we were together, seeing each other every single day, and we just formed a close bond.” He continues, “We have a group chat, we do sleepovers, and talk to each other all the time.” In between shooting the show, Noah has done a lot of TV guestings and award show appearances with his Stranger Things co-stars and was also featured in Panic! at the Disco’s music video for their song “LA Devotee.” It’s all happening for Noah, but the kid is eager to remain an ordinary kid though living in his newly found strange and crazy life.

Q: What is it about acting that you like the most?

A: My favorite part about acting is I can be someone totally different and transform into another character. I get to try out this whole new world and time, and I find that really cool. I’m a normal kid but I can play someone who has a disability, who’s being abused, or who’s from another era.

Q: How do still keep normalcy in your life despite the fact that Stranger Things is such a huge hit?

A: It’s been crazy because when the show came out, I was in summer camp. We don’t have technology when we’re in camp so when I came out of camp, I realized that it turned out to be a big show, that I have all these followers on Instagram, and that I have people coming up to me on the streets. It’s really just my parents who are keeping me grounded and I still go to a normal school, keep a normal life, and just try to be as normal of a kid as possible.

Q: What’s the best part of being in Stranger Things?

A: My favorite part about being in the show is that I get to be around a bunch of kids, and that we can play and just have fun while we shoot.

Q: How will your character evolve in the second season without telling us too much?

A: In the second season, Will definitely has a larger role and he’ll be part of every character’s storyline. They will show how the aftermath of Will coming out from the Upside Down affected him. He will have a lot of emotionally-challenging scenes.

Q: Is there anything that you and Will have in common?

A: Will is very close to his brother and they do a lot of things together, and I have a twin sister named Chloe and we’re very close to each other too. I can relate whenever his brother would help him when things don’t go well.

Q: What’s the craziest fan theory about Stranger Things that you’ve seen online?

A: I think there’s this video that I saw on YouTube that someone said Hopper and Joyce would get together. I love it when people make couple theories like who would marry who or who would get together, I just find it very funny.

Q: Do you have a favorite character in the show other than Will?

A: My favorite character would be Eleven because she’s a freak and she doesn’t care. She has superpowers; she’s like the hero of the show. She’s cool.

Q: With the success of everything that you’ve been doing career-wise, what major changes did it bring to your life?

A: I started the show two and a half years ago and didn’t know a lot. And just growing up in the show together with such amazing people like Winona Ryder, David Harbour, and the Duffer brothers, I get to learn new tips and tricks at a very young age.

Q: What are you excited about this year?

A: Definitely for the second season of the show to come out. We’ve been filming so much and it’s been crazy; everyone worked so hard on the second season and it looks so great. I’m just waiting for it to come out and see how everyone would react to it.
