my incredibly silly headcanon about character heights is that ford was slightly shorter than stan and fiddleford when they were young, but decades later stan and fiddleford have both shrunk several inches due to the combination of not staying in shape + Simply Being Old, but ford has managed to stay the same height and is now the tallest of the three. and he Will be smug about this

Speaking of which I finally decided on how Melekh meets the Elturel tieflings: they're a wanderer themselves and bump into the group shortly after they're exiled from Elturel, back when their numbers were larger. They joined them with the intention of it being temporary, but they and Zevlor got along like a house on fire so they ended up sticking around, happy they finally found their people after being cast out of their druid cicle so long ago TvT
