Hello yes I have some amazingly specific headcanons on this in fact

and very little to do with the Big 12 Olympians 

Enjolras: Themis! the narrative actually gives us this one. Goddess of Divine Law/Order, good governance, fair divisions, petitions, and prophecy.  Not a ruler herself, but someone any ruler should heed. 

Combeferre - Eirene, a goddess of peace, and a caregiver to children-but also a goddess of spring, which was campaign season.  Being for peace and the time of war at once feels like the right internal contradiction for  the doctor with the armory. Prouvaire -Orpheus. I know it's obvious. Sometimes the obvious answer is right. Art, love of love, fearlessness against death, and enough latent tragedy to make a dozen Romantic plays, all right there.

Feuilly -Atlas; obviously there's the surface "embraced  the world" thing matching with the standard visual of Atlas and the globe, but I like him for Feuilly especially bc of his other association as the god of the spheres and expert in astronomy, specifically for the passage comparing the rules of honor to the stars; something many ignore, but which Atlas the astronomer knows better than anyone. 

Courfeyrac- Triptolemos, a hero made immortal for his hospitality, whose role was to share the knowledge and power of agriculture , for the benefit of all people; an exceptionally helpful hero seems right for the warm heart of the group.    Also: flying serpent chariot! 

Bahorel- the MOST specific headcanon here: Hercules, specifically THIS Hercules: 

which is Hercules, As Icon Of the French Revolution, EATING THE MONARCHS OF EUROPE, and clearly having a great time doing it.   

Legle - Hermes.  In this AU we allow one (1) major Olympian in this lineup and it's the god of Long Stories That Make People Forget What They Were Doing So They Can Get Where They Need to Be Long Enough For Destiny to Kick In.  Someone's gotta look out for lost travelers and confused drunks and talk.  Anyway, he's from Elsewhere in the pantheon to all the others XD   That the herald's  wand Hermes uses is so often confused for the snake-staff that Asclepius uses is just a thematic bonus. 

Joly-  Asclepius; a god of healing and medicine, but a very human one--to the point where there seems to be disagreement over whether he's a god at all. has a snake-staff that gets confused with the herald’s wand that Hermes uses. 

Grantaire- Silenus, a god of wine, strongly associated with asses -that is, with donkeys-- to the extent of sometimes being shown with donkey's ears.  A fun party god, without many of the more murder-y associations of  Dionysos

Dazai’s hands are cold.

He always keeps them in his pockets. He says it’s to make sure he isn’t canceling his co-workers’ abilities, or he comes up with some totally different, non-serious reason altogether.

But it is through his touch that he shows love. Normally, he doesn’t touch others. His touch is unpleasant to those with abilities, like ants crawling under their skin. Chuuya said so. Oda said so. Many others have said so, and many will say so in the future, too. So, he doesn’t touch others. For an ability user with no ability to speak of, is a desperate and unpleasant person.

But there are exceptions- ones he only discovered after leaving Port Mafia.

The first one was Kunikida. He shouted at him, and even hit him when he first did so. But the man grew to like him, to trust him, to be his partner. Thus, Dazai’s touch, though a bit unpleasant at first, did not bother him. Dazai could bully and tease him with his cold hands, but Kunikida sometimes allowed that, warming his hands a little, lingering for only a short while. Kunikida trusted Dazai and let him find comfort, even if just for a tiny bit.

The other exception came from a boy, only four years his junior, a person he never thought he’d get attached to. Atsushi, who initially hated his own ability and was terrified of what it could do, found comfort in the buzzing sensation of Dazai’s ability and the cold hands that, instead of causing disgust, brought him comfort. It wasn’t long before he came to trust him, and that trust was returned. He welcomed Dazai’s cold touch, even when he’d shriek at it, warming his hands even with a sulky expression on his face.

Although his hands were cold and his touch unpleasant, there were people who cared for him, people who were willing to warm his hands despite all that.

She dreams of howls and snouts and paws; of full moons and harsh breaths and coarse, smoky fur. She's one of them and they're after her and she's trying to escape and she's hunting, hunting, hunting.

When she wakes, for just a sliver of an instant, they're in the room with her; eyes narrowed and teeth bared. As she wavers in the murky gap between consciousness her bedroom seems foreign and hostile, furniture and books and piles of clothes complicit in betrayal.

Then his arms tighten around her waist and his thumb brushes over her hipbone, anchoring her to this world and sending the beasts retreating to the shadows.

She turns in his embrace and burrows her nose into his neck, remembering that he was feral once, too; that he's known the taste of blood and the thrill of the chase and the moonlight on his face. They were both wild ones, once, and they tamed each other. Saved each other. 

He kisses her temple, lightly, so lightly, and it makes her eyes sting. She speaks quietly, so quietly, but he presses his lips to her cheek and she knows he heard.

"Tell the wolves I'm home."

Quick thought: people who say that Sonic and Amy’s healthy, balanced, genuine friendship in the IDW comics (and recent games) is “shipbaiting” are just plain wacky to me

Not even to say that it doesn’t necessarily allude still to that obligatory “something more,” because if it does, it’s entirely by design because it’s the nature of their relationship (and always has been). If this is the case, all I can say is “whoops - grow up.”

It’s just that people see these two acting like best friends (which they have been since day one btw) or just like friends PERIOD and people are like “look at IDW and SEGA pandering to the sonamy fans” as if Sonic isn’t allowed to interact with her on neutral/positive terms.
