I got into Uni

Long post.

So, i basically had this news over a month ago and I'm just posting a long update about uni before I try and get back to regular posting here.

Thanks to the low cutoffs and whatever teeny bit of hardwork i did, i got into Bachelor's of Pharmacy in a prestigious university in India.

With today, it's been a week since classes started and a week and almost 4 days(?) since I moved in to hostel (staying on campus is compulsory).

I have various subjects like bio, engineering graphics, physics (but like an easier version compared to students of other courses), math (also an easier version) technical report writing, computer programming, and also labs/practicals for a few of these.

Under the read more thingy I've added a few more things since as you know, *ahem* i often make things lengthy

The day I moved in was not so bad. Honestly, I didn't cry for some reason. I made two friends at the mess (i went up to them and asked if I could sit with them and they said sure and boom we were friends).

The next day morning, father sent me a pic hugging his golden retriever (her name is Ponyo) soft toy (to him, Ponyo=me) and i sent him one back hugging my golden retriever (his name is Dennis) soft toy (to me, Dennis= father). That was when I got my first wave of homesickness. I cried a bit (roomie hadn't totally moved in yet, thankfully) and then went for the freshers orientation.

I made another friend. And then another. Honestly I don't remember much about how I made friends with the people I'm now friends with.

The first three days, we paid for the mess food and then we didn't have to.

Registering ourselves for classes was a scary task. All the classes of the nicest lecturers (as recommended by seniors) were full by the time it was my turn. My subjects were clashing and bio is (obviously) my first priority but only one lecturer's class was open (out of two) and that class timings were clashing with my math timings.

I should let go of math.

Buuuuut

Second years were helping all the freshers with the process and one of them told me that it was impossible. I have to take up every course.

Another senior tried helping me and while he was doing it, someone else announced that the other lecturer's class for bio was open now only for pharmacy people.

So I was able to take up all courses.

The senior who helped me with my timetable and registration was really nice and kind and I'm glad people like that exist.

Computer programming has been hectic. There have been about three classes so far and I didn't understand shit. They're teaching us C language.

The others are going okay so far.

Right after posting this I'm gonna get back to writing my bio notes (I've been falling asleep in bio class by the way 😭 she doesn't really teach in a way that we can take running notes though. So we all make notes from the textbook itself)

Is this year the best year of your life?: Uhmmmm I wouldn’t say it’s the best but its improved a bit! i mean one of my friends’ dad got off drinking and smoking and they seem much happier which makes me happier so thats cool :) and other stuff
