i love you also yeah, you basically gave all the same reasons I love the CR-Z, not to mention it's real versatility. I don't believe people really give Honda credit for how durable and genuinely ferocious their engineers are. I mean, I've taken my baby off-roading, speeding in (totally legal) races, and more. Never seen below 25mpg, and always making it to my destination no matter what. Plus! The liftback design may look a little dorky to some people, but i love it! for a daily driver it provides so much storage space that honestly I can fit all the same gear into that car as I did with my old '95 ford explorer. Believe it or not, it's got so much space on the inside that it's unbelievable that I would ever actually need a larger car for daily driving. (I would like a pickup truck tho, for work and for towing stuff in the future) Now, while you do accurately describe the IMA system, I do want to add on to what you said and maybe provide some details that you don't know about. For starters, yeah the IMA system is fairly simple, but people kinda forget that it's literally an electric motor, strapped between the gas engine and the transmission. it's sandwiched in there so perfectly that it acts like an alternator when it needs to and will actively become a generator for powering mobile workstations! People don't realize this but the CR-Z can actually output that much electricity that you can set up a whole ass gaming desktop and lighting setup with it. Additionally, you can run in electric-only mode! It's not a feature advertised (or even supported) by Honda due to very, very obvious reasons, however a quick OBD II flash with new custom firmware to the ECU and you can activate it off the S+ button (Or the system menu if you don't have an S+ model.) Now, running it in electric only mode kills the battery insanely fast, and only nets you maybe 5mph at the highest, however it's still functional, and it's perfect for jump-starting the gas motor if you have an iffy starter OR if you're just trying to get a little extra MPG outta your tank! (It gives about an extra 5mpg in my experience, cause I did this on my CR-Z, and that plus driving like a grandma means I get above 50mpg on average!!!) Gonna be honest, I didn't expect you to love the CR-Z this much! If you're ever in my town I'd 100% let you drive mine around and have fun with it! maybe even help me design some custom stuff for it cause i'm really stupid (we will never meet cause i'm scared of people and this is the internet)
Thank you for being so cool!
I'm not really a gimmick blog I'm just a nerd who loves lxde
if you follow this blog expecting stuff related to lxde/lxqt you'll probably not really find much here.
I occasionally post about Linux and stuff because it is a passion of mine, but in reality this blog has no theme or anything so expect random garbage on your dash
most of my posts are random things I find funny and also me talking to myself about programming/electronics projects I'm working on.
occasionally I'll also post about hypermiling and my love of compact + economy cars
#believe it or not i'm actually an ASE cert master tech#went to uni for automotive engineering and technology#i love cars#i appreciate your views on the CR-Z my baby will love to hear about this#i am clinically insane#gregory

Anomalous Subsurface Environment takes a novel approach to contending with the inherent irrationality of the dungeon by embracing it. There’s no secret at the center that makes it all suddenly make sense (in part because after two volumes — ASE1, 2011, and ASE2-3, 2012, both print-on-demand — the dungeon remains unfinished, but still, the introduction is pretty clear that there are no revelations to be had).
The dungeon came into existence spontaneously and persists thanks to a maintenance staff of self-created elemental spirits and defies any further explanation. The ASE was discovered in our own cyberpunk future by a megacorp that built large facilities around the ASE to research and extract profit. At some point, an unknown disaster forced the megacorp to seal the complex, trapping staff and resources inside. Fast forward 4,000 years into a retro-future resembling Thundarr the Barbarian, where the detritus of high technology mixes with magic and the ASE is, mysteriously, open for exploration once again. Thus, ASE is both as bizarre as its freeform funhouse ancestors but benefits from the narrative framework of modern megadungeons like Stonehell.
The central implication is that the system of the universe wanted dungeons to exists so badly that it just summoned one into existence, complete with all the silly game logic that had developed over the last 40 years, to see what would happen. The book present the ASE as the product of indomitable will that lacks driving intelligence. This is both brilliant and deeply, deeply weird. Watch out for the cornstalk warriors.

How to Choose the Best Auto Body Shop After an Accident: Key Factors to Consider
Getting into an accident is stressful, and finding the right auto body shop to repair your vehicle can feel overwhelming. With so many options available, it’s important to choose a reputable shop that provides high-quality service, fair pricing, and excellent customer support. Here are key factors to consider when selecting the best auto body shop after an accident.
1. Check for Certifications and Experience
Reputable auto body shops have industry certifications that demonstrate their commitment to quality and professionalism. Look for certifications such as ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) or I-CAR (Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair). Experience is another crucial factor—shops with years of expertise are more likely to deliver top-notch results.
2. Read Reviews and Ask for Recommendations
Online reviews can provide valuable insights into a shop’s reputation. Check Google Reviews, Yelp, and BBB (Better Business Bureau) ratings. Additionally, ask friends, family, or coworkers for recommendations based on their personal experiences.
3. Confirm Insurance and Warranty Policies
A trustworthy auto body shop will work with your insurance provider to streamline the claims process. Ask whether the shop offers a warranty on their repairs—reputable shops often provide a lifetime warranty on workmanship and paint.
4. Inspect the Facility and Equipment
Visit the shop in person to assess cleanliness, organization, and the type of equipment used. Modern shops use advanced tools such as computerized frame straightening and paint-matching technology, ensuring precision in repairs.
5. Request a Detailed Estimate
A reliable shop will provide a transparent, itemized estimate for repairs, labor, and parts. Be cautious of extremely low quotes, as they may indicate the use of subpar materials or shortcuts in repair work.
6. Evaluate Customer Service
Excellent customer service is a good indicator of a shop’s reliability. Pay attention to how the staff communicates, whether they explain the repair process clearly, and if they provide updates on your vehicle’s status.
7. Consider Additional Services
Some auto body shops go the extra mile by offering additional perks such as:
Free estimates
Towing services
Rental car assistance
Help with deductible payments
8. Look for Local Expertise
Choosing a local shop with strong community ties can be beneficial. A business that relies on local reputation is more likely to prioritize quality service and customer satisfaction.
Selecting the right auto body shop after an accident requires careful consideration. By evaluating certifications, reviews, warranty policies, and customer service, you can ensure that your vehicle is repaired properly and safely. Don’t rush the decision—take the time to choose a shop that meets your needs and guarantees high-quality repairs.
If you’re in Brownstown, MI, and need collision repair services, consider The Collision Shop of Brownstown. With years of experience, certified technicians, and a commitment to customer satisfaction, they provide top-tier auto body repairs with a lifetime warranty. Contact them today for a free estimate!

Sun worship, veneration of the sun or a representation of the sun as a deity, as in Atonism in Egypt in the 14th century BCE. Although sun worship has been used frequently as a term for “pagan” religion, it is, in fact, relatively rare. Though almost every culture uses solar motifs, only a relatively few cultures (Egyptian, Indo-European, and Meso-American) developed solar religions. All of these groups had in common a well-developed urban civilization with a strong ideology of sacred kingship. In all of them the imagery of the sun as the ruler of both the upper and the lower worlds that he majestically visits on his daily round is prominent. These qualities—sovereignty, power of beneficence, justice, and wisdom—are central to any elite religious group, and it is within these contexts that a highly developed solar ideology is found. Kings ruled by the power of the sun and claimed descent from the sun. Solar deities, gods personifying the sun, are sovereign and all-seeing. The sun is often a prime attribute of or is identified with the Supreme Deity.
There are many different and distinct types of religious waters: holy, sacred, neutral, and even evil. The ways various divinities invest waters with specific qualities and capacities depend upon a wide range of ecological, theological, and eschatological factors; some are shaped by the environment while others are purely ontological and concerned with otherworldly realms, and often there is an intimate relation between the mundane and the divine. Rivers, rain, lakes, springs, and waterfalls are some specific forms of religious water, which also relate to seasonality and changing hydrological cycles. All these variations create different dependencies not only to ecological factors but more importantly to divine actors. Religious water may heal and bless individuals and be a communal source for fertility and plentiful harvests, but may also work as a penalty, wreaking havoc on society as floods or the absence of the life-giving rains in agricultural communities. Given the great variation of religious waters throughout history where even the same water may attain different qualities and divine embodiments, divine waters define structuring practices and principles in ecology and cosmology.

Quasi Trade System is Mediterranean Sea (Black Sea; Red Sea Basins and Channels)
Quasi Culture Exchange with Indian Ocean Trade involves the exchange of goods and services between individuals, groups, or regions. Cultural exchange encompasses the sharing of ideas, beliefs, customs, and technologies across societies. Trade routes are established pathways along which goods and people move (Silk Roads, Indian Ocean trade)
Quasi Economy: Blue economy is a term in economics relating to the exploitation, preservation and regeneration of the marine environment. Its scope of interpretation varies among organizations. However, the term is generally used in the scope of international development when describing a sustainable development approach to coastal resources and ocean development. This can include a wide range of economic sectors, from the more conventional fisheries, aquaculture, maritime transport, coastal, marine and maritime tourism,[1] or other traditional uses, to more emergent activities such as coastal renewable energy, marine ecosystem services (i.e. blue carbon), seabed mining, and bioprospecting.
Political Economy with Religious Politics quasi-religions are non-religious movements which have unintended similarities to religions, such as political movements.
A federation (also called a federal state) is an entity characterized by a union of partially self-governing provinces, states, or other regions under a federal government (federalism). Observer status is a privilege granted by some organizations to non-members to give them an ability to participate in the organization's activities. Observer status is often granted by intergovernmental organizations (IGO) to non-member parties and international nongovernmental organizations (INGO) that have an interest in the IGO's activities. Observers generally have a limited ability to participate in the IGO, lacking the ability to vote or propose resolutions. Indigenous Peoples are distinct social and cultural groups that share collective ancestral ties to the lands and natural resources where they live, occupy or from which they have been displaced. The land and natural resources on which they depend are inextricably linked to their identities, cultures, livelihoods, as well as their physical and spiritual well-being. They often subscribe to their customary leaders and organizations for representation that are distinct or separate from those of the mainstream society or culture. Many Indigenous Peoples still maintain a language distinct from the official language or languages of the country or region in which they reside; however, many have also lost their languages or on the precipice of extinction due to eviction from their lands and/or relocation to other territories, and in.
Linguistic Minorities are group or collectivises of individuals residing in the territory of India or any part thereof having a distinct language or script of their own. Fundamental criteria for belonging to a language minority are (1) self-categorization, (2) common ancestry, (3) distinctive linguistic, cultural, or historical traits, and (4) a form of social organization that places the language group in a minority position. Aristocrats, or the ruling elites, tend to enjoy both social and economic prestige as well as political power. They usually have a specific honorary title, such as Duke, Duchess, Baron, Baroness, etc. In addition, children usually inherit aristocratic status from their parents. Feudalism, also known as the feudal system, was a combination of legal, economic, military, cultural, and political customs that flourished in medieval Europe from the 9th to 15th centuries. The aristocracy[1] is historically associated with a "hereditary" or a "ruling" social class. In many states, the aristocracy included the upper class of people (aristocrats) with hereditary rank and titles.[2] In some, such as ancient Greece, ancient Rome, or India, aristocratic status came from belonging to a military class. It has also been common, notably in African and Oriental societies, for aristocrats to belong to priestly dynasties. Aristocratic status can involve feudal or legal privileges.[3] They are usually below only the monarch of a country or nation in its social hierarchy.[4]
The philosopher king is a hypothetical ruler in whom political skill is combined with philosophical knowledge. The concept of a city-state ruled by philosophers is first explored in Plato's Republic, written around 375 BC. Stoicism is a school of Hellenistic philosophy that flourished in Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome.[1] The Stoics believed that the practice of virtue is enough to achieve eudaimonia: a well-lived life. The Stoics identified the path to achieving it with a life spent practicing the four cardinal virtues in everyday life — prudence, fortitude, temperance, and justice — as well as living in accordance with nature. It was founded in the ancient Agora of Athens by Zeno of Citium around 300 BCE.
Warrior Aristocracy (quasi-military organisation has more near-identical to military aspects (i.e., militia, political party, guerrilla, rebel, organized crime, etc.) A navy, naval force, military maritime fleet, war navy, or maritime force is the branch of a nation's armed forces principally designated for naval and amphibious warfare; namely, lake-borne, riverine, littoral, or ocean-borne combat operations and related functions. It includes anything conducted by surface ships, amphibious ships, submarines, and seaborne aviation, as well as ancillary support, communications, training, and other fields. The strategic offensive role of a navy is projection of force into areas beyond a country's shores (for example, to protect sea-lanes, deter or confront piracy, ferry troops, or attack other navies, ports, or shore installations). The strategic defensive purpose of a navy is to frustrate seaborne projection-of-force by enemies. The strategic task of a navy also may incorporate nuclear deterrence by use of submarine-launched ballistic missiles. Naval operations can be broadly divided between riverine and littoral applications (brown-water navy), open-ocean applications (blue-water navy), and something in between (green-water navy), although these distinctions are more about strategic scope than tactical or operational division. The definition of a proto-state is not concise, and has been confused by the interchangeable use of the terms state, country, and nation to describe a given territory.[29] The term proto-state is preferred to "proto-nation" in an academic context, however, since some authorities also use nation to denote a social, ethnic, or cultural group capable of forming its own state.[29] A proto-state does not meet the four essential criteria for statehood as elaborated upon in the declarative theory of statehood of the 1933 Montevideo Convention: a permanent population, a defined territory, a government with its own institutions, and the capacity to enter into relations with other states.[29]

Life Cycle Engineering as Topic and Things to Write about:
Life-cycle engineering (LCE) is a sustainability-oriented engineering methodology that takes into account the comprehensive technical, environmental, and economic impacts of decisions within the product life cycle. Alternatively, it can be defined as "sustainability-oriented product development activities within the scope of one to several product life cycles."[1] LCE requires analysis to quantify sustainability, setting appropriate targets for environmental impact. The application of complementary methodologies and technologies enables engineers to apply LCE to fulfill environmental objectives.

Behavioral economics is the study of psychology as it relates to the economic decision-making processes of individuals and institutions. Organic farming is a cultivation system that prioritizes healthy food, soil, plants, and the environment by avoiding synthetic substances and chemicals. Organic farmers use natural interventions and biological fertilizers to improve soil quality and promote healthy crop growth.
In cryptography, a cipher (or cypher) is an algorithm for performing encryption or decryption—a series of well-defined steps that can be followed as a procedure. An alternative, less common term is encipherment. To encipher or encode is to convert information into cipher or code. In common parlance, "cipher" is synonymous with "code", as they are both a set of steps that encrypt a message; however, the concepts are distinct in cryptography, especially classical cryptography. The Pan-Nigerian alphabet is a set of 33 Latin letters standardised by the National Language Centre of Nigeria in the 1980s. It is intended to be sufficient to write all the languages of Nigeria without using digraphs.[1] History Several hundred different languages are spoken in Nigeria. The different Latin alphabets made it impractical to create Nigerian typewriters. In the 1980s the National Language Centre (NLC) undertook to develop a single alphabet suitable for writing all the languages of the country, and replacing use of Arabic script, taking as its starting point a model proposed by linguist Kay Williamson in 1981.[citation needed] A typeface was developed in 1985–1986 by Edward Oguejofor and Victor Manfredi, in co-operation with the NLC, with technical assistance from Hermann Zapf. The Chadic languages form a branch of the Afroasiatic language family. They are spoken in parts of the Sahel. They include 196 languages[1] spoken across northern Nigeria, southern Niger, southern Chad, and northern Cameroon. By far the most widely spoken Chadic language is Hausa, a lingua franca of much of inland Eastern West Africa, particularly Niger and the northern half of Nigeria. Hausa, along with Mafa and Karai Karai, are the only three Chadic languages with more than 1 million speakers.

Astra: Echoes of the Cosmos
T1: Chapter 2
The base in which the United States government had assigned them was spacious, each of the Autobots finally had their own room after a long time and thanks to the understanding of military force, some adjustments were made for the comfort of the aliens. Astra looked at her room, the decorations that were up were mostly a strange combination of human and Cybertronian culture, music posters, some datapads with both Earthling and Cybertronian books and songs and could not miss the colored lights that run across the ceiling like stars, courtesy of Sam Witwicky and Mikaela Banes, who visited the ase a few solar cycles ago.
"Days," she said to herself, remembering the vocabulary in which humans used to operate. Their language was interesting, it was so diverse despite living on the same planet, very unlike Cybertron where the only thing that differentiated them was their accent and customs.
Sam and Mikaela were fun, they were a somewhat strange couple but they would not hesitate to sneak her out of the base to show her the wonders of the land. Her uncles were not happy with this behavior, except Moonrace who encouraged her to explore like the seeker she was and was happy that when she returned she told her everything she had seen throughout the day. On one occasion both she and Bee took the two humans to a Drive-In, where they watched different Earthly movies. At first Astra didn't make sense of them but she was fascinated by the colors on the screen.
"It was fun," she said to Moonracer as they walked down the hallway. “The animation, the colors, is nothing like what I saw on Cybertron.”
—I'm glad you liked Astra, I can't wait to see them too. But you have to be careful, they're starting to get suspicious—she knew what her aunt was referring to, like Autobots, they were forbidden to leave the base unless there was some Decepticon attack and Astra was breaking this rule just to leave, Bumblebee had permission since he was Sam's guardian and since the little femme was the synonym for preteen, she wasn't allowed to leave unless her Carrier or her Sire accompanied her, something she knew...would never happen.
Since they arrived on Earth their creators have kept busy. Well, everyone kept busy, human technology was not the most advanced but it was useful enough to create some basic tools of Cybertron. Meetings with human leaders became more frequent and paperwork no longer seemed to be a bad joke when her Sire was tasked with making reports on every move the team made, the exhaustion seeming to equal that of overexertion on the battlefield. On the other hand, her Carrier managed to go every day to patrol the borders, she spends little time at the base as if she wanted to avoid it and Astra didn't care knowing her Carrier's suspicious behavior.
"They don't even try," she muttered as she dropped into her bunk, the desk next to her contained different gadgets for her entertainment, including her Datapad where she keeps the books that Lennox and Epps recommended toher. "They said we'll spend more time together."
The idea didn't excite him too much. She spent much of her life alone while they went to war, her relationship with her creators was almost non-existent and her father's few attempts to spend time with her failed due to any stone that crossed their path. Like Astra, she was not interested in being related to them, but like Youngling she felt the need to have affection was insane but pride did not let her throw a tantrum that her parents would surely ignore and scold her for doing so.
He looked at her Datapad, Ratchet's message lighting up the screen.
“An energon cave was found near Diego García's facilities, you are informed that you will participate in the expedition”
Letting out a sigh she got up and got ready, she ran through the corridors to the hangar where the rest of the team was waiting. Her uncles and aunts were there with excavation materials, some humans also seemed prepared for the expedition that Astra was sure would go wrong. Her Sire looked at her with expectation and some caution, he did not seem happy with the decision that was made about her but seemed resigned to listen to his old friend.
"May Primus accompany you...Astra" he seemed to hesitate when saying that designation as if it were something unknown in his mouth.
—To you too, sir—that last word was like a dagger in her Sire's spark and for a moment Astra thought her face was contorted in pain. The little femme shook her head, that was impossible, her Sire never left her expressionless face.
The energon mine wasn't as big as she was led to believe, but the blue crystals were so big that Sideswipe seemed to drool.
"I'm in paradise," he said while digging trying. Today I will eat until I am full.
"Docbot will be angry if you do that," Arcee said as she moved a box full of energon. We need the energon to relate it, we cannot afford to waste it—he left the box in a transport vehicle—. It will only be for extreme cases.
—That's what you say, but we all know that most of them will go to Athe——he looked at the purple femme. “Astra. It still depends on large amounts of energon to continue growing.”
Astra pouted as she remembered, consuming energon meant that she would have Elita-1 and her Sire so close that they would make her uncomfortable, it had been a long time since she had fed on low-grade energon and had not experienced something so intimate with them since that duty was taken by Chromia when she was just a Sparkling whose creators cared about nothing more than war and achieving victory.
—I'll try not to drink too much.
Moonracer hit her on the helm. “Don't even think about it, we're not going to starve you just because energon is scarce. You have to grow up to be able to do things when you grow up, isn't that what you wanted?”
Astra nodded embarrassed. She hated being reminded that she was the youngest of the entire group, she had survived several Vorns alone, she was also more independent when it came to the other bots at her age. She was already an adult, although she didn't seem like it.
I wish others saw it that way.
To her surprise, everything happened with a tranquility that greatly upset her. It was very strange that when they collected energon nothing bad happened, but taking into account that they were on Earth, she had to accept that some things would change. When they arrived at the base they were received with affection, the energon they collected was enough to last six months and it was a joy to the higher ups who still distrusted them and even though the secretary of defense seemed calmer with their presence, they knew that at some point everything would change and that came faster than they expected.
"Galloway is the most annoying human I've ever met," Astra complained, plopping down next to Mikaela, who was repairing a motorcycle. He spends all day complaining about houses we already know and is too insistent that we give him the key to the weapons.
—He sounds like an idiot.
—It is! I swear it is! But Prime says we have to put up with it since he's our liaison with the government—he rolled his eyes watching the cars go by—. He looks like an idiot every time he sees us transform and talks about us as if we were machines and not living beings. He believes that if humans get our technology they can build themselves and we are more than that.
"That's what politicians are like," Banes murmured. “They think they can do whatever they want because of the points they have, but they forget that they are just another guy.”
Things at the base did not improve, with every mission they had, Galloway appeared to lecture them as if they spoke another language and that began to annoy most of the NEST members, including the Autobots.
"I swear that if you speak to me again I will stomp on you until you turn into a wafer," Astra said as she watched the cheeky human walk away towards his helicopter. "Maybe I'll do it now," she said, pointing her cannon at the military vehicle.
"Don't even think about it," Elita scolded, Optimus at her side looking at her with some disappointment, "we can't harm humans."
—No one is going to miss him! —The Youngling pointed out—, And I'm pretty sure you've thought the same thing, you can't fool me! —none of her parents contradicted her—, See!
—Anyway, we can't damage it. The arrangement that was made with the government clearly said that we cannot open fire on the inhabitants of this planet, they would turn against us—said Optimus.
"That didn't seem to be the same as what you did on the other planets," Astra muttered, causing both her Sire and Carrier to freeze and stare at her in an unreadable manner. Bringing that topic to light was like a taboo for them, the war had been cruel and they as leaders knew that everything their little spark lived and witnessed would be difficult to forget, that made Optimus make an embarrassed face realizing that his daughter seemed to understand everything they did despite her young age.
Don't forget to follow me so you don't miss the new episodes of the series. See you in the next one!

Batch 2024 participates in 2-week off-campus internship
University of the Philippines Integrated School (UPIS) Batch 2024 completed their 2-week off-campus internship at various sites from February 12 to 23.
Part of the Grade 12 work program is the two-week off-campus internship which aims to apply the knowledge and skills they have obtained from Kindergarten to Grade 11, to experience a real-world work environment, to understand and explore the careers they may pursue in the future, and to develop proper attitudes regarding leadership structure, employee interactions, and professionalism.
Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) Track
Grade 12 - Kalayaan, the Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) track, had their work immersions at Bantayog ng mga Bayani Foundation, Interactive Children’s Literacy Program (ICLiP), M&P Creatives, and Teatrong Mulat ng Pilipinas. UP Diliman Information Office (DIO) and DZUP 1602, despite being within the UP campus, were also included as internship sites for the off-campus work immersion.
The sites offered internship tasks such as writing articles, creating scripts, designing social media posts and publicity materials, covering events, newscasting, hosting, observing and teaching classes, assisting video shoots, joining rehearsals, and participating in activities conducted by the sites.
Zaeda Wadi, a former UPDIO intern, shared some of the most important lessons she learned through her internship. “At the UP DIO, I learned that being attentive is such a helpful asset to have! Be it in article-writing, observing during programs, interacting with others, or following instructions, having a present mind makes things clearer—and easier. I also realized that there are various activities in UP Diliman that I can participate in! It opened more doors for me to venture that can set me on new experiences as a student and community member,” she stated.
Additionally, she talked about some of the discoveries she made through UP DIO. “UP DIO staff taught me that in the hustle of life, sharing conversations and laughs makes the office life bearable and memorable! I learned from their close bond how it is always nice, even essential, to check in daily wholesome chats with people we meet at the workplace,“ she shared.
Business and Entrepreneurship (BE) Track
Grade 12 - Kapayapaan, the Business and Entrepreneurship (BE) track, experienced working at Underdog Fitness PH, Revised Salon, Friuli Trattoria, Puff & Dough BakeLab, SGD Coffee, Street Kohi, Noki Japanese Fried Chicken, and Urban Chick for their off-campus internship.
Some of their work included taking orders from customers, cleaning and setting up the area, making orders and food products for the business, assisting in supply inventory, creating and designing social media posts, preparing financial reports, assisting in administrative-related tasks, and conducting market research.
Princess Tan, a former intern at Noki Japanese Fried Chicken, shared her thoughts on how different the off-campus internship is from completing regular coursework for classes. “The real world is less structured than the system in school. The tasks we had to do weren’t listed for us and weren’t taught to us from the very start to end. You are expected to learn the operations as you go through the work program. Additionally, mistakes would cost you more unlike in school where you’ll just get a deduction on your score,“ she said.
Applied Sciences and Engineering (ASE) Track
Grade 12 - Karangalan and Karunungan, the Applied Sciences and Engineering (ASE) track, held their internship programs at Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) - Department of Information Systems and Computer Science (DISCS), ADMU - Department of Electronics, Computer, and Communications Engineering (ECCE), ADMU - Department of Mathematics, Buri Technologies, Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) - Environmental Management Bureau (EMB), DENR - Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB), Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), Department of Science and Technology (DOST) - Advanced Science and Technology Institute (ASTI), DOST - Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), LCI Envi Corporation, New Era General Hospital, Smile Studio Dental, and Wilson Hobby Studio.
Some specific tasks given by the sites consisted of conducting playtests, exploring and programming with Artificial Intelligence (AI), attending workshops and seminars, testing websites, creating courses on websites, performing Test Case Documentation, listing products and packaging of companies, managing and operating with information and cybersecurity, weather research and reporting, assisting in dental-related work, input and documentation of dental procedures and prices, assisting in tech support with 2D software, 3D printing, and attending discussions and seminars held by the sites.
Enjoce Lampa, a former intern at ADMU - Department of Information Systems and Computer Science (DISCS), shared the skills he was able to develop or enhance through his experience. “The skill I used the most during the internship was definitely my knowledge in programming. I think I already had pretty good programming [or] coding knowledge from my experiences but this internship further enhanced my skills because I was able to use it on a real project. I learned the Godot game engine and its native language, GDScript, to create our game and I think I will be using this knowledge more in the future,“ he stated.
Batch 2024 is the first batch of Grade 12 students to experience separate cycles for their off-campus and on-campus internship since the pandemic. Last year, they finished their on-campus internship, which lasted from December 4 to 15. //by Mira Leaño and Ria Bautista

AO3 1.2 First Chapter: AO3 | First Post
“Apologize.”
With every Addams is a chosen instrument for death — the honor therein.
Your dear father is straightforward and blunt, so he takes to rapiers. Uncle Fester is (or was) likewise, though rather than rhythm, his hand kept itself erratic.
Mother’s instrument blossoms in silence. There are her words, then the poison to a drink. Her victims are few, though they are, always, a pointed remark. Grandmama, she is … similar, though she falls back to scripture and incantation as well.
“I— I-I can’t—! Oh my god, I— I can’t breathe—!” “Apologize to him.”
Pugsley has trinkets. Grenades. Rifles. Mines or the occasional tank. It doesn’t matter. If he can tinker with his instrument, that satisfies him plenty.
“He isn’t—! F-Fuck—!” (The jock wept. Naked, and bruised, with his head boiling… He truly was a disappointment.)“H-He’s not h-here—?!” “I’ll play courier. Apologize.”
As for you, your family likens you to antique. Namely blades, though you’ve collected the most heinous array of boards and maces. Curiosity has also guided you to the complex; more than gadgetry, you are drawn to practices, and technology. Old technology. There’s artistry to them. Artistry that your family appreciates, it’s just that you do above them all.
Yet…, a contradiction.
“I can’t— I— I can’t breathe…! Pl— Ple—ase—!” “Fine then.” (You loosened your grip. He slacked for his gulp of air. Then you stamped his head into wet tile.) “Now apologize.” (Blood erupted. It seeped far.) “To my brother. Apologize.”
Rather than antique, and complex, you favor primitive. Your very hands are your instruments.
Just as they had been beneath a fateful moon, where the life drained from his eyes. And beneath a yellow sun as well, where the world blurred, seethed Vampyric, behind cut fringe.
And so too your last hour at Lakeview High, where the locker room’s shower pranced down your back, and you were struck by the sheer ease of this vengeance. All it took for the football team to kneel was to find them unannounced, from an empty locker, after practice.
“I’m— I’M SORRY! I’LL LEAVE HIM ALONE!” (His head cracked ceramic by the second heel.) “Again. Apologize again.”
There was only a telephone cable in your hands.
They knew to be terrified. You had to give them that.
“I’M SORRY! HOLY FUCK, I— I’M SORRY!”
It’s a shame that stunt had ricocheted you from the police station, to home, then right to Nevermore.
“WEDNESDAY! FUCK! I’M SORRY! WE’LL LEAVE HIM ALONE!”
You wanted to see the captain’s face after the fact. You wanted to envision the colors which bloomed — beyond what Pugsley wrote you weeks into the fall semester. Because with any instrument, there is a piece. And for a sculptor to not witness her artistry…?
“She … isn’t here right now.”
It was cruel.

Magistrate Judge Katharine H. Parker, who is overseeing pre-trial hearings for Luigi Mangione, is married to a former Pfizer executive and holds hundreds of thousands of dollars in stock, including in healthcare companies and pharmaceutical companies, according to her 2023 financial disclosures.
Parker’s husband, Bret Parker, left Pfizer in 2010, where he served as Vice President and assistant general counsel after holding the same titles at Wyeth, a pharmaceutical manufacturer purchased by Pfizer. According to Parker’s disclosures, her husband Bret still collects a pension from his time at Pfizer in the form of a Senior Executive Retirement Plan, or SERP.
Parker also holds scattered interests in pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare companies like Abbott Laboratories, the owner of St. Jude Medical. Abbot has drawn criticism in recent years for manufacturing tainted and toxic baby formula, fraudulently billing Medicaid for glucose monitors, and selling faulty deep brain stimulation devices.
Parker also has stakes in pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device investments like Viatris, Intellia Therapeutics, Ase Technology, and Crispr Therapeutics. Park’s holdings in other top tier companies are detailed below [Alphabet/Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Tesla, Apple, Cisco, Nike].
"I’m very concerned about my client’s right to a fair trial in this case. He’s being prejudiced by some statements that are being made by government officials. Like every other defendant, he’s entitled to a presumption of innocence. But unfortunately the way this has been handled so far his rights are being violated. And as you know, Your Honor, there’s a wealth of case law guaranteeing his rights to a fair trial, but none of the safeguards have been put in place yet here — in fact it’s just the opposite of what’s been happening.
He’s a young man, and he is being treated like a human pingpong ball between two warring jurisdictions here.
These federal and state prosecutors are coordinating with one another at the expense of him. They have conflicting theories in their indictment, and they are literally treating him like he is some sort of political fodder, like some sort of spectacle.
He was on display for everyone to see in the biggest staged perp walk I’ve ever seen in my career. It was absolutely unnecessary. He’s been cooperative with law enforcement. He’d been in custody for over a week. He waived extradition. He was cooperative at all accounts. There was no reason for the NYPD and everybody to have these big assault rifles — that frankly I had no idea it was in their arsenal — and to have all the press there the media there. It was perfectly choreographed.
And what was the New York City Mayor doing at this press conference, Your Honor? That just made it utterly political. And as your honor knows under Loro v. Charles, the Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit has held it to be clearly established that these staged perp walks to the media unrelated to a legitimate law enforcement objective is unconstitutional. And I submit that there was zero law enforcement objective to do that sort of perp walk. There’s absolutely no need for that whatsoever.
And frankly, Your Honor, the mayor should know more than anyone about the presumption of innocence that he, too, is afforded dealing with his own issues. And, frankly, I submit that he was just trying to detract from those issues by making a spectacle of Mr. Mangione.
And there are consequences to this.
He has a right to a fair trial. And I just want to put on the record statements that the mayor made publicly about my client. Nothing saying “alleged” for example. And he said “I wanted to send a strong message with the police commissioner that we’re leading from the front. I’m not just going to allow him to come into our city. I wanted to look him in the eye and state ‘You carried out this terrorist act in my city, the city of New York that I love.’” And he wanted to show symbolism.
Your Honor, he’s not a symbol. He’s somebody who is afforded the right to a fair trial. He’s innocent until proven guilty. And the mayor was talking to jurors — future potential jurors that elected him. Those are the people that elected him that he is talking to and calling this man a terrorist.
So, Your Honor, I just want to make a record of this and put everyone on notice that this has to stop, and my client is entitled to a fair trial and the presumption of innocence."
