#Adaptability in design

Was looking at refs and since Viktor has two different leg braces I was wondering, do we think he wears them simultaneously?? The refs don't perfectly line up perspective-wise so it's hard to tell but parts of the one he wears during the Hexcore scenes look like they could maybe line up with the brace that he wears over his clothes, but also some parts really don't and look like they'd be super uncomfy. Also HOW does he take these on and off. Experts weigh in

The fascinating thing about these two adaptations is that they're both equally horny for the doctor, but, like, in diametrically opposite ways.

to this day i can't get over how stupid it was to remove the headphone jack from phones. now if you want to use wired headphones you have to use the charging port. and then they made a stupid little external adapter you have to plug in that sticks out of your phone and advertise it as Hey now you can listen to music AND charge your phone at the same time! what an innovation! if only we could have done that before! the thing i want most from these increasingly sleek and efficient shapes and designs is to have a bunch of external bullshit sticking out of it to make it as clunky as possible! next they will remove the call function from your phone entirely and in order to make phone calls you will need to attach it by a twirly cable to an external keypad that plugs into the wall, and to enhance the speaker/microphone you'll be able to set your nice neat rectangle into a banana shaped device that sits nicely against your ear and mouth. and that's what we call innovation

I have a HC that Kurt is Romani/practices Romani traditions since his foster mother and siblings are canonically Romani. Ive learned a little about the culture from watching and finding actual Roma people online and such and learning about their culture and traditional clothings, so I drew Kurt in an outfit referenced from it!

I want to learn more about the culture and what I can and can’t portray- since I know a lot of Romani culture is closed practices for protection and preservation purposes- so if anyone knows any good reliable sources I’d love to know!

A lot of what I’ve learned came from this creator @ florida.florian on TikTok! And that’s who I actually referenced Kurt’s outfit from too!

I feel like it shouldn't need to be said, but a relatively faithful adaptation of the source material is actually a very normal and reasonable thing for both an author and that author's fanbase to want. People can sneer about book purists all they want but it's the rare adaptation that surpasses the original, and HotD does not even come close.

I adore the idea of Leo developing a love for glam rock not only because he likes the music but also because of how many glam rock bands had vibrant and extravagant eye makeup - looks that his own red stripes were right at home with.

Like just imagine a little Leo rifling through his dad’s music and choosing to vibe with glam rock specifically because he was like “:0! Like me!:)”
