The Role of Technology in Shaping the Workforce
Employee Experience and Well-Being in 2025
The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Talent Acquisition
Changing Work Models and Flexibility
Skills Development for the Future Workforce
Conclusion
Introduction
The workforce of 2025 will be shaped by several pivotal factors, including technological advancements, automation, and evolving workplace cultures. According to industry experts, businesses will need to adapt quickly to ensure they stay competitive and align with the needs of a modern workforce. Understanding the workforce landscape in 2025 is critical for organizations seeking to maintain a thriving work environment. In this article, we bring together insights from leaders in HR, technology, and organizational management to provide a comprehensive round-up of strategies for navigating these changes.
1. The Role of Technology in Shaping the Workforce
Technology has been one of the most significant drivers of change in the workforce, and by 2025, its influence will be even more pronounced. From automation to artificial intelligence (AI), technology is revolutionizing how tasks are performed and how employees interact with their roles. Experts emphasize the need for organizations to adopt tools that enhance productivity while also fostering innovation. AI, for instance, can help streamline recruitment processes, but businesses must balance this with the human element to ensure a personalized experience.
2. Employee Experience and Well-Being in 2025
The future of work is not just about what technologies are being used but also how employees feel about their work environment. Employee well-being and engagement will continue to be a top priority for organizations. In 2025, businesses will increasingly focus on creating environments that support both professional and personal growth. Experts predict that offering flexible work arrangements, promoting mental health initiatives, and integrating purpose-driven work will help attract and retain talent in a competitive job market.
3. The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Talent Acquisition
AI is transforming how organizations recruit and hire talent. By 2025, AI-driven tools will become even more sophisticated in assessing candidate qualifications, matching them to job descriptions, and predicting future performance. However, experts caution that over-reliance on AI for talent acquisition could lead to biases if not properly monitored. The key will be to leverage AI in a way that enhances the recruitment process while maintaining fairness and inclusivity.
4. Changing Work Models and Flexibility
The traditional 9-to-5 work model is rapidly becoming a thing of the past. In 2025, flexible work arrangements, including remote work and hybrid models, will become more widespread. Experts predict that businesses will continue to embrace these models, driven by employee demand for better work-life balance. While some sectors may struggle with this shift, companies that can offer greater flexibility will be in a stronger position to attract top talent.
5. Skills Development for the Future Workforce
As technology continues to advance, there will be a growing need for workers to develop new skills, particularly in areas like data analysis, programming, and digital literacy. By 2025, organizations will need to prioritize ongoing learning and development to ensure their teams stay ahead of the curve. Experts suggest that businesses invest in upskilling programs and create opportunities for employees to grow within their roles. This commitment to skill development will help bridge the talent gap and ensure the workforce remains adaptable to new challenges.

Sirius Black x insecure!Reader
Warnings: graphic bullying, use of mudblood, use of pet names (luv) if you are not into that please do not read.
word count: 5k
Being a muggle-born at Hogwarts was not easy. You were not popular, but you didn't care. What was important to you were your close friends, who embraced you for who you were. But Avery, a pureblood wizard who had a talent for tormenting anyone who didn't conform to his ideals, had taken a particular interest in making your life difficult. And being introverted didn't help; you were an easy target for his devious schemes.
You knew that Hogwarts was supposed to be a place of magic and wonder, but it often felt like a dark and lonely place for you. Avery would call you mudblood, make rude remarks in class, and even trip you in the hallways. But you refused to show him that his words and actions affected you.
Your friends could tell how badly you were hurting and did everything they could to help you. They even encouraged you to speak with your teachers. You knew deep down that your friends were right; you should speak with a teacher about what was happening. But every time the thought crossed your mind, fear held you back. Fear of making things worse; fear of being seen as weak or unable to handle the situation on your own.
It had become a vicious cycle; Avery's bullying behaviour continued because he knew he could get away with it. And the longer it went on, the harder it became for you to break out of that pattern.
Avery's taunts and pranks appeared to get worse over time. He would usually see you in empty hallways or classrooms, making rude comments about his belief in your lack of magical abilities. You tried to ignore him, but it was becoming more difficult. You were trying to convince yourself that if you were patient, things would work out and that you could handle one more year since it was your final year. Your friends immediately noticed something was wrong, and they would always ask what was bothering you. But the answer was always the same: "It's fine, I'm fine. But you were lying first to yourself and then to them.
As the year dragged on with no change in sight, you were desperate for something to break the monotony. And then it happened in Slughorn's class. When he asked to work as a team of two on an advanced Potions assignment, you were about to speak up and ask to work alone, as you always had before, but before the words could escape your lips, a figure slid into the seat next to you.
"Excuse me." The boy's voice suddenly cut through your thoughts. You turned to see none other than Sirius Black, the infamous troublemaker of Hogwarts, standing beside you. "Do you mind if we work together? My seatmate is feeling sick, so...” Sirius continued. As someone who preferred to work alone, you were not used to being approached for group projects. But with Remus missing classes due to his monthly transformations, it seemed Sirius had no other choice.
“Y-yeah sure… Um, I don’t mind,” you replied with a slow nod.
"So, what's your name?" Sirius asked. As Sirius asked for your name, you couldn't help but feel a pang of loneliness. How could someone not know a student in the same class as them?
"Y/L/N, Y/L/N, Y/N," you answered quickly, feeling invisible compared to his charm and presence.
"Sirius Black," he introduced himself, but the words felt hollow to you.
“I know who you are,” you commented of course everyone knew who he was. But as your own words slipped out without thinking, seeing Sirius's confusion only made you feel more insignificant.
“Um, we-we have been in the same class s-since first year. That's why.” You continued, trying not to sound awkward, but failed.
Sirius' eyes widened as he realised his ignorance after six years. "I'm sorry," he mumbled, his voice sounding odd and disappointed.
"Oh, it's fine. It's not the first time that something like this has happened to me." You blurted out, immediately regretting your words as a wave of awkwardness washed over you. You quickly averted your gaze back to the professor, hoping to avoid any further social mishaps.
As you scribbled notes in your potions textbook, a mix of disappointment hit you as you observed him not even attempting to take any notes; maybe he expected to do all the work. But that wasn't true. Sirius was on his own mind, thinking that Hogwarts wasn't even big enough to not know all the students in his year, but here he was to prove that wrong.
When the class drew to a close, you began gathering your things. Sirius leaned over and asked, "How are we going to do this?" You were confused; you didn't know if he was genuinely offering his help or trying to avoid the project altogether. Before you could respond, his friends called out to him, and they left with a promise to catch up later.
When he shifted his attention to you, he realised you were still packing your stuff.
"I'll wait for you outside, okay?" he announced, and you responded with a gentle "Okay" and a nod.
As you were about to leave the classroom, your professor's voice stopped you. "Miss Y/L/N, the potion will be far simpler to accomplish if you work with a team." Slughorn leaned back in his chair, observing you with a sly grin. "I've heard you prefer to work alone," he continued. Before he could say anything else, you interrupted him.
"I'll work with Surius Black," but you didn't know if that was true.
When you left the classroom, you instantly noticed him. Sirius Black leaned against the wall. He waved for you to see him, but it wasn't necessary; he was always seen. He was Gryffindor's golden boy, both pure-blood and Black who always managed to stand out. He possessed everything you didn't.
As you approached him, his voice rang out in your ears: "So, how are we going to tackle this?". You furrowed your brows, unsure of how to respond. Working in a team was unfamiliar territory for you, leaving you at a loss for words.
"Um...how do you usually work?" you asked, tilting your head to the side.
"Oh, Jamie and I just joke around while Moony does all the real work," he chuckled, adding to your confusion.
"Moony?" you inquired, looking up at him curiously.
"Remus," he clarified with a nod of his head.
"So...I can handle the potion then; no need for-" you started to say before Sirius cut you off.
"No, no, no, that's not what I meant. I want us to work on this together," he interjected eagerly, causing a small smile to grace your lips.
"We can meet tomorrow after classes in the library if you're free," he suggested.
You were ready to tell him that the library was your second home, where you spent most of your time lost in books or studying, but decided against it to avoid sounding too pitiful.
So you simply nodded and said, "Yes, it's fine with me," with a slight smile.
"Great, it's a plan then," he stated before leaving.
But before you could move on to your next class, you heard a familiar voice calling for you.
“Oi, mudblood,” you heard Avery’s voice, but you decided to ignore it, starting to walk as fast as you could. But he and his friend group didn’t seem to want to leave you alone.
So he called you again. “Oi, I’m talking to you.” Avery's voice was harsh and grating, cutting through the air as he continued to call out to you. His friends snickered and whispered amongst themselves, adding to the cacophony of mocking voices. And yet, there was a hint of mocking in his tone, a cruel edge that made your skin uneasy.
Your heart raced as their footsteps grew louder and their presence loomed closer. Even if you tried to get away from them, they would always catch you, and you knew it when you felt Avery’s hand in your hair pulling you back at him.
"Where do you think you're going?" Avery sneered, his grip tightening on your hair. The fear in your eyes only seemed to fuel his cruel amusement.
He made you look at him; your eyes were full of tears, and your heart started beating faster.
"When I'm talking to you, you better listen. Show some respect," he said, and a painful whine left your mouth. You heard all of them laughing at your pain, and you couldn't do anything other than look down. You felt so small and pathetic.
"Oh, poor mudblood." The cruel voice of Mulciber pierced through the air, making fun of your blood status. "You and Black, such a perfect match, a mudblood and a blood traitor," he said disgustingly.
As Avery let go of your hair, tears streamed down your cheeks. You stumbled away, feeling the weight of their hatred bear down on you. You hurried to your next class, trembling and glancing over your shoulder to ensure no one was following you. Even as you ran, the hurtful words echoed in your mind, a constant reminder of the division and disapproval that filled the wizarding world.

The next day, you couldn't stop thinking about your study with Sirius; it was the first time you'd work on a project with someone you didn't know well, and you were nervous, not knowing how to act because it was new to you. So as soon as the classes finished, you rushed to the library; you didn't want to be late. You found your usual seat available, and you waited for him. But as time ticked by and he still hadn't shown up, you couldn't help but feel abandoned and forgotten. Maybe he had other priorities or forgot about your meeting altogether. Defeated, you resigned yourself to working alone.
You began to gather your materials by finding books that would help you with the potion and the things that you would need. After half an hour, your desk was filled with books, and the library started getting busier. When you were ready to sit at your desk and start the research, a book caught your attention. It was about Greek mythology. And, oh, how you love it! you started flicking through the pages with such interest that you didn't hear someone getting closer to you.
"So here you are." Sirius' playful voice brought you back to reality. He even scared you so much that you flinched, and as a result, the book fell from your hand.
"You came," you said, biting your lip and trying to hide a smile.
"Of course, I came, Y/N; we said that we were going to do this together," he commented. You kneeled to get your book as you smiled. His answer made you feel relaxed.
"So, where were you? For a minute, I thought you stood me up," he laughed.
"N-no! I, um, I was right there," you said as you showed him with your hands where you were sitting.
When Sirius looked at your desk, which had a pile of books now, he left a small chuckle and said, "That's why I didn't see you; I don't think that I have ever come to this corner of the library."
"Well, it's really quiet there, even on the busiest days of exams; it's always empty. It's like my secret place; well, not anymore, but you know…" you said, looking away, feeling that you overshared again. Sirius smiled warmly and said, "I won't tell anyone about your secret spot, I promise." and you couldn't help but smile back.
"So what's all that?" he said as you got closer to your desk, which was filled with a pile of books by now.
"Oh, um, I found some books that could help us; um, I thought you forgot, and I started by myself." You said and bit your lips.
When you took a seat, Sirius sat next to you. You started explaining the books you found and how they could be useful for the project you were working on together.
You didn't know what time it was, but the library was empty by now, and you had made so many notes that your hand was hurting. You left a small groan and turned to look at Sirius, who was already looking at you.
"Luv, we can do it together tomorrow if you are tired," he commented, making you blush with the nickname.
Sirius noticed it, of course; he also noticed your shy personality, how you talk softly, and how you always seem to put others before yourself. It was one of the things he admired most about you.
"Tomorrow?" you asked, tilting your head.
"Yeah… What? You don't like my company," he asked, teasing you.
"No, no, no, it's not that, I swear," you said immediately, shaking your head.
Sirius smiled playfully at your reaction. "I'm only teasing you, Luv," he said, making you blush once again.
"I just thought you would have other things to do on your Saturday," you said as you both started getting your stuff ready to leave the library.
"So what are you reading?" he asked as you picked the book you were interested in before.
"Oh, it's about Greek mythology; I'm really into it. You know Circe was a witch who lived in ancient Greece; she was a minor goddess who was said to transform sailors lost around her island of Aeaea into animals via the use of enchanted food." You said with one breath. When you saw Sirius's shocked face, you looked down at your hands as you murmured, "Sorry, I get easily excited," with an awkward smile.
"Don't apologise; it's nice to have something to get you this excited," Sirius said as you left the library.
"Do you?" you asked, eager to learn more about him.
"Oh yeah, for me, it's music that's keeping me excited. Mostly muggle music. Do you know, um, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, Queen, ABBA? They are singers and bands," he asked you.
"Of course, I know them," you said with a smile. "I'm muggle-born after all, Sirius." You continued.
Sirius's eyes widened; he didn't expect that you were so smart and you were always studying—at least this was what he understood—that he thought you were from a strict pureblood family that he didn't know about.
"It doesn't matter," he said immediately as he saw your smile drop. "I just didn't know," he commented, trying to justify his reaction. "But who's your favourite one?" he asked, attempting not to make things more awkward than they already were.
"Oh, Fleetwood Mac," you said with a nod as Sirius smiled at you, happy with your answer. "Yours?" you asked.
"Led Zeppelin," he told you.
"So you like hard stuff?" you said with an innocent smirk.
"Yeah, luv, I like the hard stuff," Sirius said, grinning at you, making you blush and look away to hide it.

And so the days passed, with you and Sirius studying together and hanging out for reasons other than studying. You two had gotten pretty close by talking about your interests and teasing each other about them. When you were with Sirius, you felt like someone else, and he made it easy for you to open up because he was always listening to you. So you began to wonder if something might change during your final year at Hogwarts. But, oh… How stupid were you?
You were having breakfast with your friends, talking about how you would spend your weekend when you told them that you had a study section with Sirius, and all of them smirked at you.
"You know, I'm starting to believe you have a crush on Sirius Black." Your best friend said.
"N-no, no, we are just studying really," you said immediately, trying to defend yourself, but the truth was that you were starting to like his company a little bit more. Your friends saw that and decided to drop the conversation.
"We are heading outside," one of your friends said. "When you are done, come find us," she continued with a smile. You nodded, but you couldn't stop thinking about what they said earlier. Was it so easy to understand your crush on Sirius?
"You know, when I said you and Black would be a perfect match, I didn't really mean it." Avery's cold voice broke your thoughts. "He would never like you; you're just a mudblood." He said and with a laugh, he left.
You couldn't move. The only thing that was playing on your mind was, 'How does he know?' You tried to act like nothing happened and like what he just said didn't affect you. But it did. And Surius noticed that. He noticed how your expression changed when Avery talked to you. And he was surprised with himself because Sirius couldn't even understand when his friends were mad at him.
"Is Y/N okay?" he asked his friends without thinking.
"Who's Y/N?" Peter asked.
Sirius then shook his head towards you, and all his friends—Remus, James, Peter, and Lily—turned to look at you.
"Oh, the lonely girl," James said with a smile, relieved that he knew you, winning a death stare from Lily. James didn't mean to offend anyone; he simply didn't think twice before speaking.
"Oi, mate," said Remus, looking at James. "I know her; she's always in the library," Remus continued looking at Sirius now.
"Why wouldn't she be okay?" Lily asked.
"And since you care ?" James butted in.
"Um, well, Avery was talking to her," Sirius answered Lily, never taking his eyes off of you.
A small "Oh" left Lily's lips and continued, "He's been making her life difficult since the first year. She's his easy victim, you know because she's muggle-born."
Sirius didn't even think twice; he just stood up and started getting closer to you.
"What about my question ?" Was the last thing he heard from his table, coming from James.
When Sirius came and sat next to you at first, you didn't notice him.
"Y/N." His soft voice made you look up at him. "You good, luv?" he asked, and the stupid nickname gave you butterflies, forgetting for a little what had happened before.
"Yeah, I- I'm fine," you murmured with a nod. "Do you need something, Sirius?" you asked him gently.
"No… Actually, I'm just checking," he replied. "I didn't know that you were friends with Avery," he said, trying to make you open up to him.
You shook your head instantly. "We are not; he just, um, he just wanted to ask something."
Sirius didn't expect this answer, so he asked again. You just nodded, and before he could say anything else, you left him alone. As you were leaving, you couldn't only feel his eyes on you but his friends as well.
You started walking away from the Great Hall as fast as you could because the only thing that you wanted right now was to lie on your bed.
When your body hit the bed, the only thing that came to mind was that you could handle Avery's attitude because, after all, you were strong. The minutes ticked by, each one feeling like a heavy stone on your chest. Shadows danced on the room's walls as the sun set. The silence and solitude were overwhelming, leaving you feeling restless and bored.
So you decided to get up and find your friends, who were very concerned about you. But a few minutes later, you regret your decision.
"You and Black are pretty close." It was Snape's voice that made you stop moving. You closed your eyes, and you could feel your heart beating faster. "Yeah, Y/N, I thought we were your only friends," said Avery with a humiliating laugh.
"I-" you tried to defend yourself. But before you even had the opportunity to say something more, Snape pushed you, making you fall with your back.
"I don't think that you told him anything, right mudblood?" said Snape as Avery was pushing you down with his feet.
A small, painful whine left your mouth, and you looked up at them. "What? Are you scared of him, Snape?" you asked.
Snape didn't answer you, but Avery did. "You wish, mudblood. Dare to tell him anything, and I swear to Salazar, I'll kill you," he said, and with that, he left you alone.
You stood up; your lips were trembling as you tried to hold back tears. Snape's cold eyes bore into yours, sending a chill down your spine. The threat from Avery lingered in the air, leaving you feeling more weak than ever. You quickly wiped away the tears and squared your shoulders, refusing to show weakness in front of Snape. Taking a deep breath, you turned and walked away, determined not to let them see you break.
And this is how you end up spending your Saturday evening in the library; you didn't have the energy to go hang out with your friends, and you just needed something to make you forget about the whole day. So you went to the library to do what you knew best: study.
"I knew that I could find you here." Sirius interrupted your studies with a cheerful voice, making you look up at him.
"You were looking for me?" you asked, confused, tilting your head quizzically.
"Yeah… you looked tense this morning, and I didn't see you with your friends after, so I- I was kinda worried," Sirius told you, surprised with himself and with a small smile as he played with his hair awkwardly. The Casanova boy was surprised by himself; he noticed you like he had known you for years. He noticed the way you reacted when Avery was close to you and how you avoided his question this morning, and he even noticed that you weren't with your friends. If Sirius didn't know himself better, he could say he was falling for you.
"Um, sorry for worrying you; I was just tired," you answered by lying.
"Don't apologise to me, Y/N; come on," Sirius said, feeling sick that you felt the need to offer an apology. You opened your mouth to apologise to him, but you closed it once more.
"Are Avery and his friends bothering you, luv?" he asked with a sad smile.
You shook your head right away. "What? No, um, where did this come from?"
"Well, this morning-" he started saying, but you interrupted him.
"Don't worry about me, Sirius; everything is fine," you said as you stood up to go find some books that you needed for the project, trying to get away from this conversation. But Sirius followed you through the aisle of the bookshelves.
"But are you fine, Y/N?" Sirius spoke again, making you look at him and give him a painful smile.
"Of course," you said as you pulled him by his wrist to follow you. You really liked his company; he made you forget all about your problems, especially when he wasn't talking about them.
"So you did the project all alone?" he asked playfully.
"Well, almost. I really wanted to do something, and it was my only unfinished assignment," you answered him. Then you stopped moving tip-toeing to get the book that you needed, but you couldn't reach it.
"Let me get it for you, luv," Sirius whispered with his husky voice, his hand gently brushing yours as he reached for the book. His closeness and touch sent a wave of tingling sensations throughout your body, making it hard to focus on anything else.
You took the book from Sirius, trying to steady your trembling hands. "T-thanks," you stammered, avoiding his intense gaze as you pretended to focus on the pages.
When you looked down, your hair fell to your face, and Sirius couldn't help himself but reach out to tuck a loose strand behind your ear, his fingers lingering on your skin for a moment longer than necessary. The small gesture sent your heart racing, and you couldn't help but wonder if Sirius felt the same electric connection between you both. With his index finger, Sirius made you look at him; you were a blushing mess.
"Love it when I make you blush for me," Sirius said, and before you could even progress what he said, he leaned down and kissed you. His lips were warm and soft against yours. A shiver ran down your spine, causing goosebumps to rise on your skin. It was a moment filled with passion and longing, leaving you breathless and wanting more.
"Sirius," you breathed out. You felt your face getting hotter again; you knew you were blushing. You tried to hide your face with your hands, but Sirius was quicker. He gently pulled your hands away, a smirk playing on his lips as he looked into your eyes with adoration. "Don't hide your pretty face from me, Y/N," he whispered, his thumb brushing against your cheek. The intensity of his gaze made your heart race even faster. You felt like Sirius genuinely cared for you like he had noticed you. Like you were finally seen by someone.
Sirius's hands hugged your face, and before he could even reach for you, someone called his name.
"Sirius," said Remus, and with the sudden interruption, you flinched and got away from Sirius's touch.
"James was looking for you; you have to go to practice, you know." Looking once at Sirius and once at you, the tall boy spoke.
"Did I interrupt anything ?" He asked as he noticed your flushed face. Sirius rolled his eyes at him and then looked at you again.
"Look, luv, as much as I would love to sit here and help you with our project, I have to go to practice or James would kill me, and we don't want that, do we?" He said with a playful smirk as you shook your head, biting your lips, and tried not to smile at his cockiness.
"I- I can give you the result later if you want," you said shyly.
"Perfect, I see you by nine in Gryffindor's common room," he said, turning to his friends and leaving. Before they could even disappear from your sight, you heard Sirius talking.
"Bad timing, Moony, bad timing." and a small smile was placed on your lips. You were so eager to get this project done so you could spend some time with Sirius.

So once you were done and the clock was showing 9 p.m., you hurried to Gryffindor's common room, hoping he would be there. So when you were inside —some first years had opened for you— you heard Sirius before you saw him.
"I think Avery is really messing with Y/N; maybe Lily's right," Sirius said. You tried to stay still and not make a sound. You knew what you were doing wasn't right but you couldn't appear now when he was talking about you.
"Did she told you?" Remus asked him.
"No, she didn't; actually, I think that she hasn't told anyone," Sirius replied to him. And suddenly, it didn't feel nice to be noticed. Sirius read you like a book, and he displayed you to his friends. You didn't want to sound so miserable, nor did you want everyone to know your problem.
"How are you so sure, then?" A new voice asked him, Maybe it was James or Peter you didn't know.
"Her mood is always changing when he's near her, and sometimes I feel like she's scared that he will appear from nowhere." He said again. He made you sound so miserable; you weren't a scared little girl that you needed his help; you could handle it all alone as you did the last seven years. Even though everything he said was true, you felt sad when he talked about your problems with someone; you couldn't even recognise his voice.
"You have known me since the first year, and you can't even notice when I'm mad at you." The unknown voice said again.
"Oh, come on, Peter, we are talking about some other kind of noticing here; he cares for her in another way," Remus said with a playful tone. You hold your breath, ready to hear Sirius answer, which would make you forget about your second thoughts. But that never came.
"Yeah… I mean, no, no, it's just sad. I feel bad for her; she's having some difficult times," Sirius stated, making your heart lose a bit.
Remus breathed out; that was what Sirius always would do: push himself away if he felt emotionally vulnerable. It was frustrating, but Remus knew it was his way of protecting himself.
You felt so empty; he felt sad for you. That's why he noticed you and asked you questions that no one had. Did he kiss you because he felt bad for you?
"Sirius…" it was Remus's disappointed voice that stopped your heartbreaking thoughts. "If it's for pity, you have to stop giving the poor girl hope." You couldn't stand listening to them. You couldn't even stand thinking about what they were saying, so you just left, running from your room. You weren't just some poor girl who needed Sirius Black's pity or his rescue.

So when you didn't appear in Gryffindor's common room, Sirius was worried sick. Why did you not come? Did something happen to you? Did he make you uncomfortable? But no, he kissed you, and you kissed him back. Maybe you didn't finish the project, or maybe you were too tired. He didn't know what happened, but he would find out the next day, or this was what he said to himself. Sirius was a man with a plan.
So when he entered the Great Hall and saw Avery at your table, he forgot everything about his plan.
"I was expecting better from you, Y/N. I thought they were saying that you are smart, but falling for him... Come on, he's Sirius Black, and you are, well, you are a nobody…" Avery said making you feel so small. When Sirius walked into the room and you both saw him, Avery laughed.
"Poor Y/N, I bet he's talking to you just because he feels sad about you. He's pitting you, but he shouldn't; you are a filthy mudblood after all." He continued. Sirius was now closer, but he still couldn't hear what Avery was telling you.
"St-Stop it," you said, cringing when you heard your voice cracking. Avery knew what to say to break your heart, and he was doing it intentionally.
"Oi, Avery, why haven't you shut up already?" Sirius basically shouted, making the whole hall turn to look at you three.
"Oh, look who's here, the prince with the saviour complex," Avery sneered, turning his attention from you to Sirius. Sirius took a step forward, his eyes blazing with anger, as he prepared to defend you against Avery's cruel words. Every word that was leaving Avery's mouth was hitting you like a knife.
"Sirius, stop," you managed to say quietly.
"You heard her, Black; your princess doesn't need to be saved," Avery said with a sarcastic smile.
"Talked to her one more time. I dare you." Sirius said, getting closer to Avery as his eyes darkened.
"So protective," Avery said as he left you two alone, laughing at both of you.
"You okay?" he asked, looking worried at you. But when he looked at you like this, the only thing that you could think of was how he talked about you last night. He tried to hold your hand and come closer to you, but you backed off.
"No," you said, looking at him madly and shaking your head. Before he could say anything else, you left him alone, walking away from him.
"Luv, wait," he called you, but it was too late. But Sirius knew where to find you; you had shown him your secret place, and two minutes laterhe was facing you again.
"Why did you leave like this before?" he asked you with a confused look.
"Obvious, because I want to be left alone, Black," you replied to him without even looking at him.
"Y/N, what are you even talking about I just… for Merlin's sake I just want to help you" he said trying to catch your eyes.
"I'm fine I don't need your help or your rescue; I'm not your problem to fix." You said, finally letting out all the things that had been weighing on your mind since last night.
"No, you are not fine; don't give me this bullshit excuse of yours," Sirius replied, not being able to control his anger anymore.
"Okay, I guess I'm the coward who can't accept the fact that Avery has been messing with me for the last seven years, but who cares Sirius?" Your voice cracked as you shouted the last words, feeling the weight of your heartache crushing down on you.
"Who cares? I care, dammit!" Sirius exclaimed, his voice full of frustration and concern.
But you shook your head, your voice now raspy and weary. "Nobody cares, Sirius. You're just pitying me, and I don't want your pity." The words stung as they left your mouth, but you couldn't stop them
"I don't pity you; I care about you," Sirius insisted, his eyes pleading for you to understand.
"You didn't even know I existed two weeks ago, Sirius. How can you claim to care now?" Your voice trembled as tears continued to fall on your face. "You're just trying to ease your own guilt by pretending to care about me," you added, feeling a mix of anger and hurt in your voice.
"I'm sorry if it seems that way, but I truly do care about you," Sirius responded softly, trying to reach for your hand again, but again this time you pulled away, feeling the agony of his words tearing at your heart. "Then please, just stop," you whispered brokenly before turning and walking away from him once more, feeling shattered and alone.

So I really like the "what if" scenario of Idias dream of Ortho being alive.
We don't see how teen non-robot Ortho actually looks like or how he is as a person (besides being an extrovert).
I present to you a series of headcannons:
-Its unclear if the attack still happened in Idias dream. If it did, I think Ortho still has some scarring from it. It would be cool if he had a prosthetic to go along with it. Through that, the very central elements of loss and technology in Orthos character can be preserved through transformation.
-Both shroud boys are talented in programming and building stuff, but I think Idia is more promising programming while Ortho shows more talent in mechanical engineering. They sometimes help eachother out in projects and do collaborations. They'd also work together on updating his prosthetic from time to time.
-Ortho loves tinkering with blastcycles (is that how you spell it?), mechanical trinkets, and retro tech. Hes known as the handyman around the RSA campus.
-Since the Brothers attend different schools, they often meet at a burger place in town to debrief on current happenings. (When the desire comes to game together, they have to sneak eachother into their respective campuses to not cause any outrage amongst students)
-Orthos nerdy interests often revolve around social activities. He has found a recent appreciation for In person RPGs, board games and in person fan meets. His love for star rouge (among other retro games) still remains, he owns a themed puffer jacket with some cool patches on it.
-Ortho and idia wear their uniform in a similar manner, wearing their jacket instead of the blazer and some sneakers and (Styx) headphones. Ortho wears the aforementioned jacket since it is one of his most prized possessions.
-Ortho, similarly to Chenya, has friends in both NRC and in the RSA.
-Since Ortho is more extroverted, he shows significant advancements in his social development compared to his brother. Ortho still tries his best to get him out of his shell if he wants to. They practice public speaking and prepare presentations together. A big difference to cannon Ortho is that Idias dependency on him is definitely less severe, but still a problem. Idia often tends to shut himself off intentionally to not burden his brother, rarely this even leads to him (reluctantly) engaging in social activities on his own.

The Intern
With the alliance between the Autobot's and the U.S government straining by the day, clearly something needed to be done to restore faith and trust- despite the classified operations of N.E.S.T successfully defeating the Decepticons over two years ago. Therefore, Major Lennox and his commanding officers created TTF- Transformers Talent Forge. An internship offered to only the most skilled and promising personnel within the U.S Defence Force , providing an opportunity of a lifetime to work side-by-side with N.E.S.T and the Autobots...
Content: Mild Coarse Language. Events takes place in 'Transformers- Revenge of the Fallen.' Autobot/Ratchet x F/Human reader. Reader Insert.
Intern Series- Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 (End)
Word Count- 3,500K

N.E.S.T- Diego Garcia. 8:30am
"Come on, Private! Keep up!"
"Ye-Yes, sir." Snapping out of your daydream gaze, running after your lieutenant.
Pulling the strap of your military duffle bag a little more over your shoulder. Trying not to stare at the sights and sounds that surrounded you in the hangar, as you followed Lieutenant Smith's footsteps. Roughed up concrete lined the floors, only the unpredictable pattern of tyre marks 'decorated' what once was a smooth surface.
Various military personnel roaming around tables and various stations filled with all sorts of gizmos, gadgets and computer systems lined either side of the hangar. Creating an almost 'catwalk' like feel for the concrete flooring which ran through the middle.
"Alright, so this is where we communicate with the JCS. And this area serves as the Autobots' hangar."
Your curious gaze wandered over the various vehicles which was casually parked on the left side of the hangar.
"The living quarters are to your right. Third door down. But once introduced to our Major, you'll be debriefed further and provided a map- this place is like a maze. I don't know what it's like where you're from Private, but here. Every day's different. So learn quick and learn fast." Lieutenant Smith slowly halted, facing you with a smile. "But don't think you'll be going through this alone. You're among family now-"
"Excuse me!" a commanding tone filled the hangar, drawing your attention to the scaffolding-like structure which stood in the centre of the military space. Lining up perfectly with the concrete 'catwalk.'
"And just like any other family household, we occasionally have our fair share of rodents." Lieutenant Smith whispered into your ear, causing a smile to tease the corner of your lips.
Complete awe flashed across your features, eyes widen as your gaze soaked in the sight before you.
H-Holy shit... that's Optimus Prime!
"With this so-called AllSpark now destroyed, why hasn't the enemy left the planet like you thought they would?" Director Galloway questioned the Autobot. His voice holding a firm tone, as he adjusted his glasses once coming to the landing of the scaffolding-like structure. Which brought him and other military personnel more to Optimus' height.
"Forgive the interruption, General." Galloway's scowl expression faced the monitor before him. Seeming not to care that he was talking directly to the Pentagon, "but after all the damage in Shanghai, the President is... hard-pressed to say the job's getting done. Now... under the classified Alien/Autobot Cooperation Act, you agreed to share your intel with us, but not your advancements in weaponry.-"
"We've witnessed your human capacity for war." Optimus' smooth yet authudicating tone rumbled throughout the hangar, his words almost holding a sharp edge. "It would absolutely bring more harm than good-"
"But who are you to judge what's best for us?-"
"With all due respect, we've been fighting side by side in the field for two years!" A small chuckle came to you, as Major Lennox's familiar tone came to your ears.
"We've shed blood, sweat and precious metal together!" Lieutenant Smith called out.
"Soldier! You're paid to shoot. Not talk."
Lieutenant Smith rolled his eyes at Galloway's snarky comment. His unamused expression turning to you as he whispered, "don't tempt me."
"And the... newest members of your team. I understand they arrived here after you sent a message into space, an open invitation! Come to Earth! Vetted by no one at the White House!-"
"Let me stop you right there, Mr. Galloway. It was vetted right here." A voice from the Pentagon crackled through the monitor. "And in my experience, the judgment of both Major Lennox and his team, has always... been above reproach-"
"Well... be that as it may, General. It is the position of the President when our national security is at stake... no one... is above reproach." Galloway turned his attention back onto Prime. "Now... what do we know so far? We know that the enemy leader, classified NBE One, aka, Megatron. Is rusting in peace at the bottom of the Laurentian Abyssal, surrounded by SOSUS detection nets and a full-time submarine surveillance."
"We also know that the only remaining piece of your alien AllSpark is locked in an electromagnetic vault. Here on one of the most secure naval bases in the world! And since no one can seem to tell me what the enemy is now after, well.. there's only clear conclusion!... You! The Autobots!" Galloway's glare narrowed. "They're here to hunt you!"
You begun to slowly shift your weight from one foot to the other. The smile fading upon your lips as the atmosphere within the hangar begun to grow tense.
"What's there to hunt for on Earth besides that? 'The Fallen shall rise again'?... It sounds to me like something's coming. So... let me ask, if we... ultimately conclude that our national security is best served by denying you further asylum on our planet. Will you leave... peacefully?"
All eyes turned on Optimus. The tension grew thicker. You could almost hear everyone hold their breaths as all hung onto his answer.
"Freedom is your right. If you make that request, we will honor it. But... Before your President decides, please ask him this... What if we leave and you're wrong?"
A heavy sigh escaped your lips. Why do I have a feeling that I've came at a bad time?...
Optimus straightened his posture as Lennox ran a hand through his short, brunette hair. "That's a good question-"
"Major! The intern is here!" Lieutenant Smith shouted from the ground. A small smirk teasing his lips, knowing his voice briefly deafened Mr Galloway while he awkwardly climbed the steps down.
"Here... let me take your things." You looked at the lieutenant, holding out his hand. Simply gesturing towards the scaffolding stairs with a slight nod. "You'll be fine."
Taking a couple of deep breaths before handing over your duffle bag, your heart slightly picking up pace as you climbed the stairs. Flashing the soldiers a weak smile, as their curious gazes turned away from their monitors and onto you.
"So, is it every day that the government comes round to bite your asses?" your cocky tone slightly eased the tension in the air. Greeting Lennox with a salute as his soft gaze fell onto you, a relieved smile teasing his lips.
"At ease, Private. No need to be so formal... nah, they don't come by often. But when they do, it's just my ass that gets bitten." A small chuckle left Lennox as he embraced you with a warm, tight hug. "Ah Valkyrie... it's been so long. How you've been? Keeping out of trouble?"
"You know me, Lennox." You looked up at him with a warm smile, slowly breaking away from his embrace. "Trouble just seems to follow wherever I go. Speaking of which... things gotta be bad for you to pull some strings to get my name picked."
A nervous chuckle escaped his lips, lowering his voice to just above a whisper as he wrapped an arm around your shoulders. "You have no idea." Guiding you a little closer to railings, Lennox cleared his throat and gestured to the Autobot. "Allow me to introduce you to the leader of the Autobots, Optimus Prime. Prime... this is Private Y/N, aka 'Valkyrie.' She's the intern I've personally chosen for Ratchet."
Swallowing your nerves, your heart fluttered a little as Prime's stern gaze softened. A welcoming smile spreading across his face plates as his blue optics settled upon you.
"A-A pleasure to meet you, sir."
"The pleasure is all mine." His smooth, calm tone melted your nerves. Causing a sweet smile to tug at your lips, "I've heard a great deal of good things about you from Major Lennox. He said you're quite an experienced medic, and had been... trained specifically for field duty, correct?"
"Correct. I've been serving the U.S military for three years. My experience varies on and off the field."
Optimus nodded in approval, a glimmer of hope flickered within his optics. "Regarding your earlier observation, I won't lie that things have been... difficult here. My medical officer, Ratchet has been... having issues with the interns assigned to him." Exhaustion crept into his words, rubbing his temples. "He's... not exactly impressed with them, and it's gotten your superiors... annoyed to say the least."
Lennox gave you a weak smile, "and... I figured, if anyone could work with Ratchet, despite his... rough edges, it's you. You're one of the best damn medics I've ever fought alongside with! And you know I've seen my fair share of skilled personnel during my career."
Your curious gaze flickered between the two, " so basically... you picked me because the Autobot keeps kicking out his inexperienced interns... how long have they lasted?"
Optimus and Lennox hesitated for moment, giving each other nervous glances before the major finally spoke up. "The longest was a week... the shortest was two hours."
"What?-"
"He's just... very strict with his demands. But you out of anyone would understand how a unit are highly dependent on the medical expertise of their medic!" Lennox gave your shoulder a comforting pat, "you've got what it takes, you've been out there! And to be fair it's not just him. The previous interns were... problematic too- but! I have full faith in you!-"
"Behind Ratchet's gruff exterior and sarcastic tone, lies a soft spark and a bot who genuinely cares for his team." Optimus assured, "you just... need to chip away at his concrete walls. Are you... familiar with Cybertronian biology? Or at least came up close to our kind?"
"Unfortunately... no. But that's why I'm here, to learn and become apart of this team." A small smirk teased the corners of your lips. "But as for getting 'up close' to your kind... does shooting a Decepticon in the face count?"
Optimus coughed out a chuckle, the air almost getting stuck within his vocal processor while Lennox tried to hide his smirk.
"Well... I suppose I should introduce you to Ratchet." Lennox spoke, finally clearing his throat and composing himself.
Optimus simply nodded, giving the pair of you a warm smile as Lennox gently guided you away from the railings and back towards the stairs of the scaffolding.
---
Approaching the neighboring hangar, which was surprisingly on the smaller side than the previous. Lennox paused before opening the medbay doors, giving you a slight glance over his shoulder. "You... might wanna wait out here for a minute. Ratchet... hates surprises."
"He's that bad, huh?" crossing your arms and raising an eyebrow.
"No. No, it's just..." a heavy sigh left Lennox. "The... 'higher ups' are constantly breathing down my neck and second guessing our whole operation- not just N.E.S.T, but the internship too. Surely you heard Galloways bullshit."
"I did... but I won't add further stress by poking and prodding you for information about what's going on. I'm sure I'll figure it out."
Lennox gave you a weak, appreciative smile before entering the medbay, leaving you outside as you subtlety peeked your head around the corner of the large door frame.
"What have you done this time, Ironhide?" the major attempted to keep his casual tone, as his footsteps echoed upon the tire-marked concrete flooring.
"Blasted Decepticon punk got a lucky shot at me!" Ironhide snarled as he man-handled the large cannon that refused to retract back into his forearm. An annoyed expression flashing across Ironhide's face plate while sitting at Ratchet's peds, a small huff escaping him as the medic pushed his servo away.
"That's what you get for being reckless during the mission." Lennox took a deep breath before turning his attention onto the Autobot medic. "Ratchet... I have someone important that I'd like you to meet."
The yellow and red Autobots' annoyed glare briefly flickered towards Lennox, before turning back to Ironhide's arm. "And who, exactly, do I need to meet right now?"
Lennox hesitated for a moment. "Your... new intern..."
Ratchet immedictly paused, his glare narrowing onto the major. "What?! You know I-" a heavy sigh escaped the medic as he stopped himself from arguing. Closing his optics tightly while pinching the bridge of his nose, "... who is it?"
"Private Y/N but she mainly goes by the nickname, 'Valkyrie.' She's a personal friend of mine- we fought alongside together back in my old unit during her first two years of service. You'll like her."
For the love of Primus, please tell me that this some sort of joke. Ratchet's servo ran down his face plate, Lennox's unfaltering expression caused the Autobot to let out a frustrated sigh. Great... another intern to get in my way. Just what I need! "... bring her in then."
Lennox briefly glanced at you over his shoulder, his hand giving a small gesture behind his back.
Taking a deep breath and composing yourself for a moment, before entering the medbay. Greeting both Autobot's with a professional smile, saluting once you reached Lennox's side. "Pleasure to meet you, Medical Officer Ratchet, sir. I'm looking forward to working with you."
Ratchet's skeptic expression slowly melted away, as his optics soaked in your appearance. Your polite yet professional tone made his shoulders relax, your body language and how your military uniform framed your toned and confident physic, grapsed Ratchet's attention. The suttle scars upon your skin was Lennox's proof that you were indeed experienced within the field.
She's certainly not giving me a awkward smile, or hiding behind Lennox. Perhaps... she's not gonna be as bad as the others.
"Likewise... Valkyrie... Welcome."
A low purr emerged from Ironhide's engine, as his optics roamed over your relaxed frame. His voice just above a whisper, "oh... she is a babe- ah!"
Annoyance flashed across Ratchet's optics, his gaze narrowed onto Ironhide as he whacked the weapons' specialist upside upon his helm. The medic's free servo clutched onto Ironhide's forearm tighter than necessary, causing the gun-metal coloured Autobot to wince in pain.
"Anyway..." attempting to ignore your confused expression, Ratchet's attention returned to Ironhide's arm. Picking up one of his tools from a nearby table, and adjusting a bolt within his comrade's inner circuits, "I assume Lennox has debriefed you..."
"Only that I'll be working alongside you. Learning and understanding what it's going to take to patch up you Autobots."
I suppose that's a good starting point. "You're going to be helping me in the medbay, yes. Though for your first day, today I'll just get you to learn basic Cybertronian anatomy. And depending on how the day goes, I might get you to watch how I treat the common injuries we get." Ratchet's optics briefly flickered at you, "and I mean, just watching. Don't try anything unless I say so. I've... had some rather eager interns in the past that didn't know how to stay put."
You gave the Autobot a firm nod, "understood. I know how annoying it can be, when someone's trying to stick their nose into your work."
A small, suttle sigh of relief escaped Lennox as he witnessed Ratchet's expression becoming more... neutral. A genuine smile teased the corners of the medic's lips, his optics softening. Fucking finally...
"Well... I'll leave you two, to it." Lennox whispered, patting you on the back. And giving Ratchet a 'I-told-you-so' smile, before leaving the medbay.
"I believe Lieutenant Smith placed your belongings on a desk over there." Ratchet gestured towards a stainless steel desk, it's 'human size' looked almost like dollhouse furniture, compared to the hologram monitors and workspaces that was more to Ratchet's height. Your duffle bag almost drowned under the piles of folders and paperwork, "apologies for the mess. But... feel free to settle in. Once I'm done with Ironhide, we'll start your training."
You briefly gave him a sweet smile, before approaching the desk which was somewhat tucked neatly away in the corner close to you. Ratchet continued fixing and adjusting the stuck cog within Ironhide's forearm, the gun-metal Autobot wincing as his cannon finally retracted.
"Hm... Perhaps your interns should of been femmes from the start- ah!-"
Ratchet's glare bore into his comrade's optics, a low snarl rumbling in the back his vocal processor. As the medic's grip upon Ironhide's forearm tightened, scratching his paint, "shut. It!"
The weapon's specialist pulled his limb away, but his teasing smirk never leaving his lips. His flirtatious gaze lingering on you for a brief moment before turning away, and finally leaving the medbay.
A heavy sigh left Ratchet as he pinched the bridge of his nose. Taking a moment to compose himself before looking at you, only to raise an optic ridge. Annoyance should of bubbled within his chassis, as his gaze watched you organize the mess upon the human-sized desk. Taking a brief glance into the files, before you placed them in their respected piles.
Instead, curiosity peaked his interest as you seemed become distracted by a particular folder within your hands. Ratchet's spark subtly pulsed a little quicker, as his optics soaked in your focused expression. It was as though he seemed to... admire your interest...
"That folder you have there... might be classified."
"Oh!" quickly snapping the folder shut, surprise slightly flickering across your features as your wide eyes witnessed the medic kneel towards you. The realization of the size difference between you becoming more obvious than before, "sorry. I was... just curious... about Megatron."
"I... understand your curiosity. But those papers relating to Megatron are restricted for a reason." His firm tone matched his body language, holding out a servo towards you.
Only for a mixture of appreciation and surprise flicker within his optics, when your soft gaze looked up at him. A sweet apologetic smile spreading across your lips, as you held out the folder towards him. The object looking comedicly out of place within the palm of his servo. She... didn't argue or protest? Just... accepted the restricted access...
"He seemed like one tough son-of-a-bitch."
A small hint of concern eased into you, as Ratchet's servo curled into a tight fist.
"You... could say that." Ratchet's tone slowly changed back to his gruff demeanor, but his words held a sharp edge. "He was one cruel and sadistic bastard. He and the Decepticons would stoop down to any level! Even if that level is tearing out the still beating spark of their foe!"
Sympathy and concern softened your features. The hidden memories reckoning within his words, tugged upon your heart strings.
"I've... had my fair share of encounters with him. Almost came close to... deactivation more than once because of him."
A small moment of hesitation stole your voice before you could squeak out your question. "De...activation...?"
A heavy sigh escaped Ratchet, as his optics briefly looked away from you. It's probably best if she hears it from me, than the others. "In 'our' terms... it basically means death. I've... came very close to it by Megatron's hands."
Ratchet's spark fluttered as you placed a hand over his closed digits. Your gentle touch sending warmth throughout his frame, causing his shoulders to relax. A stuttle heat slowly spread across his faceplate, as his processors burned your sweet, comforting smile deep into his memory core. Why... does she make me feel... so-
"Badass ice-cream truck coming through!-"
"Excuse me. Excuse me!-"
A small yelp of surprise escaped you, as two playful voices suddenly disturbed the air as a 1930's Chevrolet truck came into view. The pink and white paint almost completely faded away, only to be overtaken by dirt and rust.
The back of your legs pushed up against the stainless steel desk, as you leaned backwards. Confusion washed away your previous expression, as the voice's came from the singular vehicle. Ratchet closed his optics as annoyce begun to bubble back up within him.
"That... would be Skids and Mudflap..." the medic sighed.
Your confused yet curious gaze followed the 1930's ice-cream truck roam around the other side of the medbay hangar, leaving new tire-marks upon the concrete flooring as it circled two Mini Coopers. The red and green colours shining like new, polished metal compared to the truck.
"Hold up-"
"Those are nice. Yeah baby, it's upgrade time-"
"Yeah, sir yeah! Look here, it's my booty call right here!"
You looked at Ratchet with a puzzled expression. Giving the medic a silent question as he rubbed his temples, do they... even know what a 'booty call' is...?
The sound of turning cogs, whirling gears and shifting positions filled the air, making your eyes widen as the truck separated into two small Autobots. Possibly coming to Ratchet's waist if they stood next to his 20ft frame.
"Time to get my sexy on with the green-"
"Green? No, the green's mine! I call green!-"
You quickly reached for Ratchet's servo, your touch barely covering the tip of his digit, as the medic remained knelt beside you like a protective giant. A small gasp escaped your lips as Skids tackled Mudflap to the ground, causing violent vibrations to echo throughout the hangar and beneath your feet. You winced at the sound of metal clashing against metal, as the twins fists collided. Another vibration echoed through floor, like a ripple through water, as Skids grabbed his brother into a headlock, flipping the younger Autobot over his frame and forcing Mudflap onto his back.
"I got the green!-"
"That hurts man!-"
"It's supposed to hurt. It's an ass-kicking!"
Another heavy sigh escaped Ratchet as he tried to compose himself, still rubbing his temples while his free servo still welcomed your soft touch. For Primus sake...

This lithograph by People's Artist of Ukraine Zenoviy Ketsalo, measuring 43 x 56 cm (16.9 x 22 inches), depicts an American tractor working the fields of Ukraine and the USSR. The artwork reflects the mechanization of agriculture during the early Soviet era, symbolizing the transition from traditional farming methods to industrialized collectivization. The composition contrasts old and new ways of working the land, with a horse-drawn plow in the background and a powerful tractor in the foreground. The Ukrainian inscription "ПЕРЕОРЕМО МЕЖІ" ("We will plow the borders") suggests the ideological drive to reshape the agricultural landscape. The style of the lithograph, characterized by bold lines and striking contrasts, captures the dynamic energy of this historical transformation.

Zenoviy Ketsalo (1919-2010) was a People's Artist of Ukraine, an outstanding painter and graphic artist who became famous for his talent and contribution to the world of Ukrainian art. He was the author of famous works that became the property of the Lviv School of Graphic Arts.

In the 1920s and 1930s, the Soviet Union imported tractors and technology from the United States as part of its rapid industrialization and collectivization efforts under Joseph Stalin. The USSR sought to modernize agriculture and industry, and American technology—especially from companies like Ford and Caterpillar—was seen as highly advanced. The Soviets purchased tractors, machinery, and even entire factory designs to boost agricultural productivity and mechanize farming. American engineers and specialists also helped set up production facilities, such as the Kharkiv, Stalingrad and Chelyabinsk tractor plants, which later produced Soviet-made machinery.

NICK JONAS AND THE VOICE ( SCRAPPED )

Nick Jonas had faced his share of challenges as a coach on The Voice, but nothing could prepare him for the bizarre twist his life was about to take. It all started with Cole—a contestant with raw talent but a fiery temper. Nick had eliminated Cole in the latest round, choosing to advance another singer. For Nick, it was just part of the job. For Cole, it was personal.
Angry and feeling cheated, Cole spent days brooding. His bitterness led him to the dark web, where he stumbled upon something peculiar: a supposed spellbook. Skeptical but desperate for revenge, he ordered it. When the book arrived, its ancient, weathered pages exuded an eerie energy. As Cole flipped through its contents, one spell caught his eye—a transformation spell.
The idea brewed in his mind like a storm. If he couldn’t shine on The Voice, neither would Nick Jonas.
The following week, Cole disguised himself as a stagehand, blending into the bustling crew unnoticed. He had one goal: to get close to Nick. Dressed in a utility vest and cap, he approached Nick with feigned urgency.
"Mr. Jonas, we need you to check a stage prop for tonight's rehearsal. It’s acting up," Cole said, his voice steady despite his racing heart.
Nick nodded, following Cole backstage to a dimly lit storage area. Cole closed the door behind them, pulling out the spellbook.
“What's this about?” Nick asked, raising an eyebrow as he noticed the strange book in Cole's hands.
But before Nick could protest further, Cole began chanting. The words were guttural and otherworldly, filling the room with a low hum that made the air feel thick.
Nick’s voice faltered. “What are you—” His ability to speak vanished mid-sentence. Panic set in as a tingling sensation spread across his skin.
His body stiffened unnaturally, his joints locking in place. His skin turned a deep crimson hue, the texture shifting to a smooth, leathery finish. His arms flattened, merging seamlessly into his torso, while his legs folded and shrank away entirely. His spine elongated and arched unnaturally, forming the backrest of a chair. His face, frozen in silent horror, was pulled back and absorbed into the material, leaving only the outline of his jaw as the seat’s subtle curve.
He tried to scream, but no sound escaped. His mind remained intact, trapped within his new form. He was now a red swivel chair, complete with his name emblazoned on the backrest.

Cole burst into laughter, his plan having taken an unexpected but amusing turn. “I was aiming for a jacket,” he muttered, wiping tears of laughter from his eyes. “But this works!”
He wheeled the chair into the elevator and transported it to the stage, setting it up in its usual spot. No one suspected anything amiss. After all, it was just a chair.
But Cole wasn’t done. In the privacy of a restroom, he opened the book again. This time, he chanted a spell meant to transform himself.
The air around him shimmered as his body began to change. His face shifted, his cheekbones sharpening and his jawline becoming more defined. His hair darkened to a rich black, the texture softening and falling perfectly into place. His body slimmed and toned, his shoulders broadening slightly while his waist narrowed.
His clothes began to change as well. The stolen worker uniform dissolved into a pristine white T-shirt that clung to his chest, paired with tight black pants that hugged his thighs and legs perfectly. A sleek leather jacket materialized over the T-shirt, completing the look.
Cole stared at his reflection in the mirror, a grin spreading across his now-Nick-like face. He ran a hand through his newly darkened hair, marveling at how authentic it all felt. Even his voice had transformed, the rich, melodic tone unmistakably Nick Jonas.
“Not bad,” Cole said, smirking. He struck a pose, flexing his arms and testing out his new vocal cords. “This is going to be fun.”
Cole—now Nick—strolled out to the stage, testing the “new chair” with an exaggerated flourish. He ran his hands over the smooth red leather, smirking as he felt the faint tremor beneath his touch.
“Well, look at you,” he murmured, lowering himself slowly onto the seat. “You always were supportive, Nick.”
He leaned back, shifting his weight purposefully. “Comfortable, aren’t you? No wonder you love this chair so much—it’s practically made for you.”
Cole laughed, rubbing his hands against the armrests. “Feels weird, doesn’t it? Knowing I’m the one sitting here now while you’re the one being sat on. Get used to it, buddy.”
He leaned closer to the backrest, his voice dropping to a whisper. “Oh, and don’t worry—I’ll take good care of your life. Your fans, your fame... even your brothers. They’ll never know the difference.”
The real Nick could only sit silently, trapped in his new form, unable to protest as Cole took over his life.

From that day forward, Cole lived as Nick Jonas, basking in the fame, fortune, and adoration that came with the role. And as for the real Nick? He remained in plain sight, unnoticed and unheard—a silent witness to the life that was once his.

Hii I'm back with a new story, Nick jonas was the most voted on the pull i did before the end of the year, so here's my probably weirdest story I wrote end Scrapped.

do you think when flowey was a wee weed and just got into calling himself flowey that he had a kind of embarrassing stage he does not want to talk or even think about where he tried too hard to be the opposite of asriel and it was so obvious everyone could tell it was asriel
BAHAHAHAHA, YOU BET I DO! this is probably going to be as headcanon-y as it gets (kinda), sorry in advance. but really, making him a total sopping wet soggy loser is the best part of writing him. it's my favorite angle, no doubt.
the first month of being "flowey" was an exercise in second-hand embarrassment, except the person you're embarrassed for is yourself. and you can't even leave the room to escape it, because surprise! you are the room. you're a flower. stuck there. living it.
he had it all planned out. goodbye asriel dreemurr, the prince of crying-at-literally-everything, hello to... whatever cool and clever thing he was supposed to become. the details were fuzzy, but he figured being soulless meant the whole "evil" thing would come naturally.
it did not come naturally.
the cracks showed almost immediately. everything he tried just came out wrong. his threats sounded more like worried suggestions. his evil schemes kept accidentally making things better. his idea of entropy was essentially community service with attitude.
he couldn't even get the basics right. he'd tried tossing out sick burns, but they'd just hit with all the impact of a wet napkin. they weren't even insults half the time—just weirdly specific observations that petered off awkwardly.
he sucked at it. no way around it. he sucked ass.
so, he worked harder. determined to sound edgy, bad to the stem—whatever that meant—but it didn’t seem to take. every affront felt more like an accident than an attack.
and the laugh. god, the laugh. he practiced it, forced it, tried every variation. dry chuckles, derisive cackles, even an exaggerated villain’s howl. none of them worked. what kept slipping out instead was the exact same dorky laugh that used to bubble up when #she would do silly voices during storytime.
this was the worst. he was the worst at being the worst.
his own body double-crossed him at every turn, still running on years of ingrained kindness his mind was trying to stamp out. he'd be right in the middle of his most "menacing" speech yet, really getting into the whole eternal suffering thing, when someone would sneeze.
"bless you!"
every. time.
the number of “villainy” monologues ruined by his automatic politeness was actually impressive. really, it was almost a talent.
it was a drawn-out process, this transformation. no guidebooks or cheat sheets. however... i’d argue the closest thing he had to a mentor here was toriel.
she didn't know it was him. obviously. somehow that made it worse, because she kept almost-recognizing things. little stuff he hadn't managed to burn away yet.
a familiar turn of phrase. how he'd end sentences. that godawful giggle that still sounded too much like pillow forts and frolicking in the mud. how he’d fill glasses, just enough to make them brim above the edge. the efficient way.
each time her eyes would catch on these moments, these tiny betrayals of self, he'd slam that reset button with all six petals. nu-uh, no buckaroo.
her reactions were the compass he followed, pointing to what needed to be carved away. reset after reset, he got better at it. harsher. finer. a little less like the kid who used to run up to her with flower crowns and scraped knees.
the kindnesses got rarer; the callousness came easier.
never easy enough, though.
she'd still tilt her head sometimes, something glittering in her eyes like she was hearing the first few notes of a song she’d once known by heart. and he'd realize he'd effed up again, let some stupid little piece of asriel show through.
she’d never know she was teaching him how to stop being her son. to her, he was just some weird flower guy that occasionally felt eerily familiar, though she couldn’t quite put her finger on why.
every time she almost intuited something in him, he'd reload, desperate to finally become someone she wouldn't know at all.
ahhhhh. and so it came full circle. in his frenzied bid to unlearn being her child, he was still (by the most bruisingly contorted logic) turning to her for guidance. still just a kid, looking to his mom for answers. just… not in the way either of them would’ve wanted.
#flowey undertale#flowey the flower#flowey#toriel undertale#flowey ut#toriel dreemurr#sillyposting#not-so-silly#ask#i love toriel#half of me just wanted to write something for her#and him ig. he's there too

@dystopiansewerrat Hi!!! Sorry I thought it would be easier to organise these in a seperate post instead of derailing your own post 😅. I am sorry in advance! I will warn you that you would regret asking me about any ideas I had because one of my favourite things is trying to fit as many characters into an au as I can 😅
Please feel free to completely ignore everything I said! I completely understand if you're not a fan of any ships or ideas I mention. It is your au!!!! You are the artist!! These are just my rambling string of consciousness 😅
Anyway ideas based on @dystopiansewerrat Motor Sport Transformers AU!
Everyone go check it out!! Their art and ideas are amazing!!! Xxxxxxx
OG Era
Optimus' team includes of his oldest friend and head mechanic Ratchet and his bodyguard/eng specialist Ironhide.
Jazz is a fellow racer who has known OP since they were teenagers. He might not have won as many races as OP but he's very popular thanks to his style and that a video of him singing went viral! He is now a commentator.
Mirage wanted to prove that his skills as a racer came from talent and not his money. But after he won his first race, he realised that he hated being in the spotlight. He'd made freinds with Jazz during their first year together and joined his team instead. He spends most of his time working behind the scenes, getting sponsors and running PR. He still works behind the scenes and sponsors young up and coming races who due to their backgrounds would struggle getting sponsors from bigger brands. He also married Jazz's mechanic Hound.
Elita-One made history to have the first all female team, including her specialist Chromia. There were rumours that she had a romance with Optimus (amongst all the other romantic rumours surrounding Optimus)
Elita and Optimus set up their friends Ironhide and Chromia. The pair have been together ever since.
Prowl is the star racer for the Paxian team. His manager was Barricade who was an arsehole and his mechanic was Tarantulas who would experiment without telling him on his vehicle. Hkm and Prowl have a short lived relationship. Prowls younger brother Smokescreen was the only non-toxic influence on his team. Back in the day Prowl had a bit of a rivalry with Jazz but now they do the commentary together as he gives dry facts and serious analysis against Jazz's less serious persona. Rumours speculated about a romance between them since they were both racers and carried on to them both being commentators. The rumours turned out to eventually be right.
Ultra Magnus was head of the Wreckers team. Kups there too with Wheeljack as the mechanic and Bulkhead was there too maybe as the racer. Breakdown used to be on the team too until he fell head over heels for Knockout, the racer for the Velociteon team. Maybe they ended up saving each other at times if Breakdown got injured so Knockout helped to patch him up then another time Breakdown physically got Knockout to safety after a crash idk. Anyway now Breakdown is on the Velocitron team and now there is a lot of drama between them and The Wreckers.
Grimlock is the star racer for the Dinobot team who are always getting into trouble.
Onslaught is the star racer for The Combaticons. He built the team hismelf and is very proud of that. He is unaware that his teammate Blast-Off is in love with him.
Cyclonus get annoyed having to keep correcting people who assume he's part of the Deception team just because his uniform is purple.
Next Gen Era
Arcee saw Elita as a kid which inspired her to become a racer. She is now living the dream as Elita is her mentor and Chromia her mechanic.
I love Cheetor's friendship with Bumblebee and Hot Rod in Cyberverse so I could imagine them to be the same generation here! He's the racer for the Maximals with his Beast Wars crew as his team.
Springer is the new star racer for the Wreckers. Kup is still there as his mentor even though he should've retired by now. Springer is well liked by the public so he tries to hide the fact that disgraced former mechanic Tarantulas is his parent. Or maybe Springer himself doesn't even know they're related until some reporter reveals it. He could also have a complicated relationship with his other parents Prowl if you wanted to include that.
Sideswipe and Sunstreaker grew up on the streets and in and out of foster homes, getting into trouble by stealing car parts and partaking in illegal drag races. Sideswipe is the star racer sponsored by Lambourgini whilst Sunstreaker does most of the behind the scenes stuff, including design and painting which is his favourite part. Maybe Ironhide is the twins mentor now and was able to whip them into shape.
Bluestreak is Prowl's youngest brother who is now the star racer of the Praxus team. He wanted to live up to his older brother's name. And he was a very fast and precise racer. But in the end decided he'd rather work behind the scenes so he joined Sideswipe's team as a strategist. He was worried Prowl would be disappointed but Prowl couldn't be more proud that he's doing what he wants with his life and for leaving the toxic praxus team. Bluestreak and Sunstreaker start dating at some point.
Breakdown and Knockout love their son Wildbreak very much! But worry about the team he joined the Stunticons being a bad influence on him.
After Onslaught got injured his team mate Vortex took over as head racer. He's crazy! And enjoys flirting with First Aid much to Ratchet's ire.
Non racers:
Red Alert is head of security for the races and Inferno was a firefighter who was working on the on site team in case of emergency which was how they met and are now happily married.
Swindle runs an unofficial betting ring within the racers and their teams since they can't place legal bets.
Smokescreen worked for the Praxian team with both his brothers but then developed a gambling problem. He's left the industry and getting help now though. His brother's are proud of him and he's proud of them.
Strongarm works security at the races. She is often seen arguing with Sideswipe about him not following safety rules. After they both had one too many drinks at a party, Sunstreaker catches them making out in a closet.
Lockdown is the reporter that no body likes becasue he always managed to dig dirt onto people.
Devcon is the reporter people like more because he's fair and not an attention seeking asehole

Hi! Um can I request for a wax artist with a very dere dere type reader? Just totally affectionate and sweet on the guy even if the others can’t understand it! Thankies in advance! ^^
Philippe (Wax Artist) Headcanons with an Energetic Reader🧁

Note: Sorry about the long wait! I've just been doing other things. Also, sorry if this is incoherent in any way. It is currently 1AM. Warning for implications of hypothetical crime directed at the reader.
♥︎ He's not energetic, himself. He is bitter. Angry, and motivated by that, but not energetic. Perhaps there was a time when he was as cheerful, but he cannot be so carefree.
♥︎ As much as he would absolutely hate for you to smother such a delightfully cheerful personality, it would be terrible if someone, believing you to be a naive fool, attempted to hurt you. Physically, emotionally, it does not matter. The idea that you, or any good person on earth would be hurt sickens him. It is all that he intends to stop.
♥︎ In truth, you are not the fool. They are fools to think they can hide like weak prey animals, when they are anything but prey. To think that one might hate you for the refreshingly positive energy you fill every room with. Such a perspective can only be utterly foolish.
♥︎ All he asks is that you remain calm and reserved in public so no-one incorrectly assumes you're a good target. By his side, no-one will hurt you and escape unscathed. He'll be damned if he lets any scum that has dared to twist itself into a human shape even come close to harming you. Deception and pain are not your fault. It is not your responsibility to ensure that every beast remain in its den where it ought to stay until it shrivels up and dies.
♥︎ One day, you will die. He will die too. It is an unfortunate fact that cannot be ignored. Until then, he believes it is best to make the most of every day. Progress in art and science as much as you can in your lifetime. Fight endlessly for the world you wish you could live to see. In his free time and even while he works, it is soothing to have you by his side.
♥︎ I think his favorite form of affection to recieve is physical contact. The pressure of it, the reminder that you're there. He's not terribly inclined to give physical affection, however. Quality time is important to him as well. He enjoys just existing in the same room as you. All that being said, he's very content with compliments regarding his physical appearance, as well as his creations.
♥︎ He also wouldn't mind if you read to him. While he works or while he's trying to sleep. If reading to others is something you like, he'd like to listen. Just try not to be too loud. You can ready any book you like, or you can ramble about your interests. It does not matter, as your voice alone is a comfort to him.
♥︎ As for affection he prefers to give, he's most inclined to give handmade gifts and help with various tasks as long as he's not busy. It's no trouble, really. And, if you happened to cook for him, he'd greatly appreciate it. One can get caught up in their art so easily and forget to care for themselves.
♥︎ Speaking of art, if you enjoy art or writing or anything like that, he'd love to see what you create. He will critique it, but he means no harm. He just wants you to improve to the point of perfection and bring your talents to the world for all the worthy and unworthy to behold, even if it's only a simple hobby to you. He'd have a hard time understanding wanting to remain unknown and uncredited for a creative ability no-one will ever be able to replicate.
♥︎ No-one will ever replicate you. No-one can. Maybe imitated, but never replicated or replaced. Perhaps there are others like you. Perhaps they have similar interests or behavior. But you are you. In every moment before and after your birth, every intricate detail of your identity is transformed and arranged into what is known as you. Others will surely be outwardly similar, but none can compare to you.

The sun was just beginning to filter through the windows of the house when Lia woke up with a tingling feeling of excitement and nerves. It was an important day. Today she would take another step in the project: the official preparation for the music video began, and with it, her image transformation.
After a quick shower and a light breakfast, she headed to the styling studio that the production team had temporarily set up in one of the practice rooms in the basement. As she entered, she was greeted with an enthusiastic exclamation.
“Our star is here!” shouted one of the stylists, Haneul, approaching with a smile and a folder full of visual references.
“Good morning, unnie,” Lia greeted, laughing as she sat in front of the large mirror surrounded by lights.
“Ready to go platinum blonde?” asked the colorist, lifting a strand of her black hair gently.
“More than ready. Let’s do this!” she replied, a mix of nerves and excitement in her voice.
Over the next few hours, the team worked on her hair with precision and patience. Between bleaching, treatments, laughter, and soft background music, the transformation began to take shape. Halfway through the session, one of the stylists showed her the moodboard with the planned outfits for the video.
“We want your look to reflect the concept of identity and evolution. So, we’ll try three styles: one with a metallic pleated skirt and white lace top, another more urban with beige cargo pants and a sheer crop top, and a final one with a short burgundy vinyl dress—very e-girl but elegant,” explained another stylist, Minji.
“Wow, they all sound amazing. The vinyl one gives me powerful vibes,” said Lia, making a mental note.
“And for makeup, we’re thinking something fresh and luminous for the emotional parts, and more dramatic with glitter on the eyes for the intense choreography,” added Haneul.
“Perfect. I trust you completely.”
Hours later, when her hair was finally dry and styled in soft waves, Lia looked at herself in the mirror. The platinum blonde gave her a completely new aura. More mature, bolder. She looked radiant. She could barely believe it herself.
“This is... wow!” she said, gently touching her golden strands.
“You’re a different person. Well, a more powerful version of yourself,” said Haneul, winking at her.
Just then, they heard footsteps approaching the studio. Han was the first to appear at the door, followed by Hyunjin and Chan.
“Can we look...?” Han asked, poking his head in.
“Come in,” Lia responded, turning in the chair.
The three of them fell silent for a few seconds, staring at her in surprise. Hyunjin was the first to speak:
“God... you look stunning.”
“I didn’t think you could be cooler, but you pulled it off,” said Han, dramatically exaggerating his tone.
Chan, more serious but with a genuine smile, nodded.
“It fits the concept perfectly. Really, you look amazing.”
“Thanks, guys,” Lia said, a bit flushed but happy.
After that little impromptu runway show, Chan gathered everyone in the main room, where the MV’s creative team was already set up with laptops, storyboards, and visual proposals.
“Now that we have a clear idea of the style, let’s go over the main shots,” Chan explained, pointing to a screen showing scene sketches.
The video would be divided into three main blocks: one in urban exteriors, where the group would dance in vibrant clothes amid neon lights and graffiti-covered streets; another more intimate one on a rooftop at sunset, symbolizing reflection and self-discovery; and a final scene where they all converge in a space filled with mirrors and lights, representing each person's connection with themselves and with one another.
“I want every scene with you to show evolution. We’ll start with more neutral expressions and build up to genuine smiles,” said Chan.
“And I want a close-up of you, Lia, right before the final chorus. As if you're whispering that key phrase to the audience,” added the director, pointing at his notes.
“The part that says, ‘I found me in the echoes of us’?” she asked.
“Exactly. That’s going to be the heart of the MV.”
Everyone nodded, the excitement growing. Lia felt this project was no longer just a collaboration—it was hers too. A story she was telling with them, from the inside.
When the meeting ended, everyone returned to their tasks. The boys would go scout locations, and Lia returned to the stylists to begin wardrobe fittings and do a quick on-camera makeup test.
Seeing herself on the monitor with the complete look—blonde hair, bright eyes, and a renewed energy—Lia smiled. Something inside her had shifted. And she was ready to show it to the world.
The morning passed quickly, and the house was buzzing again with movement: boxes of outfits going back and forth, laughter coming from the kitchen, and conversations blending with the constant sound of buzzing phones. Everyone was excited, working as a true team.
Everyone except Lia.
After the wardrobe and makeup test, she asked for a moment alone. She stepped out the back door into the garden, crossing the pool that shimmered under the afternoon sun, and sat on one of the lounge chairs, knees pulled to her chest. The soft wind moved her freshly dyed hair, and even though she had received compliments all day, a knot was beginning to form in her stomach.
What if she didn’t truly belong in this project?
What if her transformation was just an illusion, a façade without substance?
What if her presence distracted more than it contributed?
She didn’t hear the footsteps approaching until a calm voice sounded beside her.
“Can I sit with you?”
Lia looked up and found Seungmin, holding a drink in each hand. He offered her one and sat down beside her without waiting for an answer. He didn’t say anything at first—just took a sip from his bottle and looked out at the pool.
“I didn’t come to bother you, I just noticed you disappeared,” he added softly, with that serene tone so characteristic of him.
“I didn’t disappear,” Lia replied with a small smile, watching the water. “I just needed to breathe.”
Seungmin nodded.
“I get that. What’s wrong?”
Lia hesitated for a moment, but Seungmin’s silence wasn’t uncomfortable. It was the kind of silence that gives you permission to be honest.
“I think I’m scared. Everyone’s so confident, so talented, and I... I feel like I’m always a step behind. I changed my look, rehearsed more than I ever have, recorded my parts, and still I have this little voice telling me I’m not enough.”
Seungmin turned slightly toward her, observing her attentively.
“That little voice... is it yours? Or something someone else made you believe?”
The question caught her off guard. Lia looked at him, her eyes slightly shinier.
“I guess it’s a mix.”
He nodded again, thoughtful.
“I hear it too sometimes. That voice. Sometimes I feel like others shine brighter, like I’m not as expressive, like I don’t have as much energy on stage as the others. But I learned something important…”
Seungmin leaned a little closer.
“You don’t have to shine like them. You just have to shine like you.”
Lia looked down, biting her lip.
“And what if who I am isn’t enough?”
“You’re more than enough,” he said without hesitation, his voice soft but firm. “Look at everything you’ve done this month. You complete us. You make us laugh. You work hard. And when you sing... it doesn’t just sound good. It feels. And that’s more valuable than any technique.”
Lia didn’t say anything for a few seconds. Then, she let out a long sigh.
“Thank you, Seungmin. Sometimes I just... needed someone to remind me.”
“Anytime you need,” he replied with a small smile.
Their eyes met for a few seconds longer than usual. There was no urgency, no big declarations. Just a silent, real connection. Lia felt a gentle warmth in her cheeks, and Seungmin also looked away for a second, scratching the back of his neck awkwardly.
“By the way...” he said, trying to break the tension with a lighter tone, “your hair looks amazing. Not just saying that because everyone’s said it—but... I think I like it more than anyone else.”
Lia let out a soft laugh.
“Is that a competition now?”
“Of course. But only if I win.”
They stayed there a little longer, the wind playing with their hair, their shoulders almost touching. For a moment, everything felt in balance.
Until the patio door opened and Felix’s voice rang out:
“Lia, Seungmin! We need to film some shots for the teaser!”
Lia sighed, this time with more lightness.
“We should go,” she said, but before standing up, she looked at Seungmin with a more confident smile.
“Thank you for making me feel enough.”
He shrugged with a calm smile.
“You always have been.”
Hours later, the house was empty again—but for a good reason.
The team had moved to Seonyudo Park, a place full of contrasts between nature and urban structures, with tree-lined paths, metal frameworks, and a view of the Han River that looked like a painting. It was the perfect setting to film the first part of the teaser.
The cameras were already in position when the boys and Lia arrived in the van. The stylists were making the final adjustments: Lia wore a neutral-toned outfit— a beige skirt with tall boots and a light jacket with metallic details. The boys wore coordinated looks, all with a modern, street-style vibe that reflected their individual personalities while maintaining a cohesive image.
“This place is amazing!” Hyunjin said, spinning around as he looked up at the cloudy sky with an artistic expression. “I’m inspired. I can feel the concept’s emotion.”
“And you haven’t even had coffee yet,” Changbin joked, earning a round of laughter.
Lia, calmer after her earlier conversation with Seungmin, took in the surroundings with a smile. Everyone’s energy was contagious.
“Ready to shine?” Chan asked, approaching her with a warm smile.
“Always, leader-nim,” she replied, giving him a playful formal salute.
The first shot focused on the boys walking slowly along a metallic walkway, while Lia walked toward them from the opposite direction. When they crossed paths, they turned slightly to look at each other, symbolizing a first encounter—an unexpected connection.
Stray Kids wore modern streetwear, with leather jackets and graphic tees. Lia wore a chic outfit with a lace blouse and short skirt, accented with bold accessories and high-heeled over-the-knee boots.
“Action!” the director shouted.
The camera followed the movement with a lateral tracking shot, while the background instrumental music (still without vocals) set the rhythm. Expressions were key: intense gazes, subtle gestures. It all looked like something out of an indie film—youthful and dramatic at once.
When the take ended, Jeongin clapped.
“That felt like a K-drama scene! I need my own personal OST!”
“It was, but I deserve a close-up. Look at this face,” Lee Know said, pointing at himself dramatically.
“Hyung, please!” Felix laughed, patting him on the back.
Between jokes and retakes, they spent several hours in the park filming different shots: individual clips of the members with symbolic objects (a letter, a drawing, a camera), moments of them laughing together, and group shots of them walking or sitting on the grass, looking at the horizon.
By nightfall, the second location awaited: the rooftop of a building in downtown Seoul, with a panoramic view of city lights and neon signs.
The air was colder up there, so they were given coats while they waited their turn. The staff set up moving lights to simulate strobe effects, adding dynamism to the scene.
“It’s like being on a stage among the stars,” Lia murmured as she adjusted her invisible mic.
“Literally,” Han added. “We are Stray Kids, right?”
Everyone laughed.
They also filmed what would become the opening shot of the video—Lia standing by a window in the building, looking out at the city with an expression of longing.
The final teaser shots included a simple yet emotional choreography, with the members forming a circle that gradually opened to reveal Lia at the center, singing the main lines. Even though it was only a teaser, they gave it their all, as if they were already shooting the full MV.
The members laughed and encouraged each other, showing true camaraderie.
The camera captured them in slow motion as they spun and laughed, the wind playing with their hair, the lights reflecting in their eyes.
After the final take, when the director shouted, “Cut, we got it!” everyone burst into applause and cheers.
“That was magical!” Hyunjin exclaimed, raising his arms to the sky.
“I’m going to sleep happy tonight,” Seungmin said, visibly satisfied.
Chan approached the group, smiling proudly.
“Great work, guys. Lia, you were amazing.”
“Thank you,” she said, blushing a little. “It was thanks to all of you. You made me feel like a real part of this.”
Jeongin hugged her by the shoulders.
“Because you are, Liya. This project doesn’t feel like ‘Stray Kids with Lia’ anymore—it feels like something we’re doing together.”
The van was waiting to take them back, but no one wanted to leave just yet. They lingered on the rooftop for a few more minutes, enjoying the view and the silence filled with satisfaction.
Felix pulled out his phone and started recording without anyone noticing.
“Teaser filmed. Emotions ignited. Stories waiting to be told,” he whispered to the camera. “Connections... is already alive.”

The male protagonist Zang Hai plans revenge and announces the release date of the drama "It's hard to distinguish between friend and foe"

"The Legend of Zang Hai" mainly tells the story of Zhinu, the son of Kuai Duo, the director of the Imperial Observatory of the Yong Dynasty, who was murdered overnight. With a deep hatred, he returned to the capital ten years later under the pseudonym Zang Hai (played by Xiao Zhan); with his geomancy and strategic skills, he gained a firm foothold in the court, rose step by step, and finally got his injustice redressed. In the process of laying out a revenge plan, exploring the truth, and pursuing fairness and justice, he outsmarted the treacherous and the evil, but also experienced the torture and struggle of human nature; he kept stirring up the situation, but also realized that he was stepping into an unknown conspiracy crisis step by step.
The official trailer features a clear theme of revenge. with a rhythm full of tension. In order to realize his revenge plan, the male protagonist learns skills, breaks off his emotions, and seals his heart when he is in the rivers and lakes; when he is in the court, he carefully plans, rectifies the government, and saves the people. At the same time, although the official trailer is only a little over one minute long, it is enough to glimpse the careful conception and artistic presentation of the production level of the play in terms of art setting, costumes and props, photography techniques, lens language, light and shadow colors, action design, and music and sound effects. Just like the unique and delicate aesthetic background and the grand and restrained overall style of the whole play, it complements the ups and downs of the plot, creating a gripping suspense atmosphere that makes people immersed in it.
As a fictional original story, "Legend of Zang Hai" takes revenge as the main line in an imaginary historical background. It shows the growth and transformation process of Zang Hai step by step in an atmosphere full of suspense, portrays his contradictory and complex personality, and creates a character who seems to be cold and arrogant, relying on his talent, and deep-minded, but is actually kind , just, and sticks to his original intention, with a kind and sad background. In terms of character creation and plot setting, the whole play is no longer limited to traditional court disputes and family struggles, but expands the perspective to a deeper level of human nature exploration and the profound proposition of family, country and the world, hoping to give the audience more thinking and inspiration.
"Legend of Zang Hai" is also different from the popular style of dramas in the current market, but follows the traditional narrative style and shooting techniques of TV dramas. The advancement of the plot does not deliberately pursue the blind speeding up the rhythm to satisfy the emotional catharsis of some viewers, but always adheres to the creative concept of realism, using exquisite lens language, and showing the whole process of the male protagonist from encountering the extermination of the family, hiding his name, learning from a master, returning to the capital, planning revenge, to redressing his grievances and protecting his country, as well as the contradictions and entanglements of the male protagonist on the road of revenge, growth and transformation until he gets what he wants. The belief in revenge is just a shell that wraps him. The unchanging innocent heart and the firm belief in punishing evil and promoting good are the most valuable spiritual core of Zang Hai.

When Lip brings home an advanced android in order to test it for the company he works for, Ian doesn't know what to make of him. MIK-940810, or Mickey, seems virtually indistinguishable from a human being, throwing Ian for a loop as he feels an undeniable connection to the android. Their relationship deepens when Ian finds out about something that Mickey has been keeping from Lip and the people who built him. --- There’s a faint blue light shining from the place where Lip’s thumb rests for about two seconds. Ian’s expecting some kind of whirring noise, like when you turn a computer on, but there’s just silence. And then suddenly the blue eyes come alive.

Hi Lotus! If it's possible may I request an x reader scenario with Erlang Shen reacting to a reader who is studying western magic? (harry potter-way) and they come from house Hufflepuff? The differences in how magic is handled by eastern and western countries would be a fun dynamic I think. Also, I wish you a lovely day!
ermine (erlang shen x reader)
content warnings: gender neutral reader, second pov (you/your), fluff, drabble
author's notes: sorry lucky, but i don't like harry potter despite reading the books it was just...eugh for me lmfao 😭 so i'm sorry this isn't too good
“What's the purpose of even using a wand?”
Erlang hadn't meant for the question to come off as rude. He was only mildly curious, and by extension, rather intrigued, observing you walk off ahead with a small frown.
He'd by lying if he said he was only interested in your magic tricks though. Coming across you after fighting that little monkey, walking around with the world's most befuddled expression. From what he could get from you on that first meeting, you were a mortal, with some interesting talents to keep yourself from dying.
And well. Given that you could survive a yaoguai despite having a weird old stick in your hand, you were worthy enough for Erlang to fully acknowledge you.
“It kinda. Like….helps focus the spells, or something?” You replied in response to his question, but judging by your own tone, you didn't quite know why either. It seemed that wherever you came from (which was far from here), using these little pathetic sticks to cast spells was a norm, and a contrast to how Erlang had grown up learning them.
He hummed to acknowledge your answer, quickening his steps to meet yours. “And I presume you know of transformation spells?”
You made a face. “Transformation spells? You mean like disguises?”
When he shook his head, you sighed. “Naw, we don't have that kind of stuff. Least, I don't think so. I mean…” You tapped your wand against your hand. “We can do transformation stuff? But like, I'm not advanced enough for that, plus I'm sure you gotta do like potions…this that…yadda yadda.”
You waved your hand, causing Erlang to chuckle. You glanced at him in turn; “Can you do transformation spells?”
“I have 72 of them.” As if to prove his point, his figure disappeared into a puff of golden smoke. Where he once stood, there was a fluffy white ermine, sitting on its hind feet and beady black eyes gazing up at you. You couldn't help but coo, squatting to rub his head affectionately.
“Your magic is certainly something,” you commented, scratching ermite Erlang’s head. “You didn't even need to cast a spell! Just, poof! So cool!”
And maybe he didn't mind. Just as long as no one knew the cute ermine getting belly rubs in your hands wasn't the great Erlang Shen.
You continued to gush, this time, picking up ermine Erlang in your hands. Though surprised, he remained compliant, allowing you to scratch his head and rub his belly while you continued to walk to whichever destination you wanted. He'd learnt that questioning your logic would only give him a headache in response.
