A Boar? In This Economy? Pt. 3

You thought that the interaction you had with the boys would be enough to satiate you for a long while.

Well you were wrong.

Because now all you wanted to do was go into Mondstadt and see everyone.

There was one thing holding you back, however…

…And that was wondering where the story was.

Now, you unironically had been getting “vIsIoNs Of ThE fUtUrE”, or rather the updates and current story as it continued in your world.

Your world…

Shaking off the slight homesickness, continued on your mission. Finding out where ever which ever sibling was in the story.

What you weren’t expecting however was to watch a Paimon being fished out by a hungry looking Aether.

Oh Gods.

Oh Fuck.

THE STORY HASN’T EVEN STARTED????

This is new, considering that in nearly every fic about the SAGAU the story was up to the current update or it had stopped all together.

… Did you mention that you were a vivid reader of fanfiction? And player of Genshin? Because you were.

Tiptoeing backwards, you suddenly hear the shrill voice of a certain fairy… as in fairly large pain in your ass-

“Oh! If you’re really hungry you should go hunt that boar right there! I’ve never seen a painted one though…”

OH SHIT OH FUCK-

You ran away before the blonde could even turn around, hearing Paimon’s voice call out for you to stand still. No you weren’t gonna stand still!

You continued to run, cursing yourself out in your head for being noticed.

You were happy where you were! With your family! You already interacted with Mondstadt in the form of Razor and Bennet, that was enough!

You rushed deeper and deeper into the forest, stopping when you noticed your family ahead. Trotting before them, you laid down in front of the fire.

Ever since finding you, they refused to eat boar meat, switching to fox and bird so you wouldn’t have to sit and watch them cook something that looked like you, which was nice.

Right now they were roasting a bird over the fire, spices filling your nose as you curled up around it. Another change was the increase of Mita and Lawa and samachurls at the camp. Two of each element for each type of churl to protect the camp, and you.

This was also true for other mobs. Slimes and Whopperflowers, anything else in the immediate area. The number was upped.

And with your heightened heart rate?

The number only went up.

By now, Aether and the small girl he had come to find was named Paimon had already cleared out a Hilichurl camp with the Outrider of Mondstadt, Amber.

Wiping sweat off her forehead, she turned to the duo.

“For some reason, the number of Hilichurl camps has been growing rapidly in the past year, even more so than before. Your help is immensely appreciated!” She said, sighing.

Aether only stood by before speaking up.

“Have you seen a painted boar around here?” He questioned.

“Oh! Yeah! The Boar of the Wilds! Yeah, quite the trouble maker they are. They’re a weird boar too, sticking around Hilichurls and the such. But they help the kids so we don’t see them as too much of a threat. Why?” Amber smiled as she turned around to face the Traveler, who was glaring at a now heavily sweating Paimon.

“No reason…” He said through grit teeth, making Paimon shake and mutter something about ‘not knowing’ or something of the sort.

“Well anyway, let’s get you into the city Traveler!”

And with that, the trio continued on their walk, unaware of the slime watching them.

૮꒰づ˶• ༝ •˶꒱づ ˚ʚ ꒰⁐⁐⁐⁐୨🍪🍮🧁୧⁐⁐⁐⁐꒱ ɞ˚

So you really are at the start of the story.

You paced around the fire as your family watched sitting cross legged.

You had two options:

1. Travel with Aether and see all 7 nations.

2. Stay where you are and live with your family till the story ends.

Your first instinct was, of course, to stay with your family. You had built a life here, no matter how crude.

Your family cared for you and you them. These specific mobs were going to live on in your heart and you’d be damned if you’d leave them. Because if you did, the odds of travelers and others of that nature might find them and…

Well you didn’t want to think of what’d happen.

You shook you head and snorted, pacing faster. You ignored the worried cries of those around you as you continued to think.

Now that the story started, that meant that shit was about the hit the fan.

You had noticed a lack of Divalin, and more windstorms. With how happy things had been, you tired to ignore it.

Ignore the signs.

But a small voice in the background of your head had told you.

It told you that the story had started. That you’d have to do something.

But if you did you’d mess up the whole story, and then you wouldn’t be able to predict what happens next and you’d loose all sense of control you felt you’d had.

The abyss.

You glanced back at your family.

One thing you made sure of was that there were no Abyss Mages around. Without them, your family was more than docile around humans, not truly seeing a reason to hurt them without cause.

When they would try to reverse the curse… if you left your family…

…

… You rammed into a tree.

Small screams erupted from them as the tree tilted over and fell, the top splintered from the bottom where you rammed it. Letting out a loud squeal, you rammed into another.

Why was this so difficult??

On the one hand, with your knowledge you could probably make so many lives better and easier!

But on the other, after you help one, it could cause a ripple effect and make you loose your grasp on what was happening, leaving you unable to help.

And with cautious you were, you didn’t even know if you’d come back if you’d die!

Would you be willing to die for these people?

Another tree fell.

You’d die easier than a human, what happens if you die.

What happens if you’re forced to leave your family?!

You rammed another tree.

Your breathing quickened and your eyes started to water.

The wind began to pick up.

When your hooves made contact with the ground, the earth rumbled.

You could no longer hear the shouts and cries of those around you.

What would happen when you died?

Would your blood be gold?

More trees fell.

Your eyes were blurred with tears.

You were barreling through the Forrest at this point, mind of every type crying out to you.

Crying out for you to stop.

You didn’t want to die.

But others would die for you.

You could stop so much.

… You could’ve stopped so much.

When the thought hit that while you’ve been messing around for just over a year, people were getting hurt, you ran faster, and hit harder.

The wind whipped harder. When you looked up you noticed Stormterror and Aether fighting above the city.

Had you been so caught up in your own stupid emotions that you failed to notice the city closest to you was under attack?!

How fucking STUPID could you be?!?!

You rammed harshly into a large tree, being stopped by both the winds of Teyvat and the sheer thickness of the tree.

Shaking your head you looked up.

… The Symbol of Mondstadt’s Hero.

You had ran all the way to Windrise.

Hiccups forced their way out of snout and tears poured out of your eyes.

You sobbed.

Everything was blurry and your ears were ringing. You were tired of thinking.

You barely registered the Pyro Samachurl laying a churl blanket around your back while warming it.

More and more mobs surrounded your sobbing form and slowly cuddled around you. Warming you.

And eventually, you fell asleep under the large and warm pile of Hilichurls, Mitachurls, Lawachurls, Samachurls, Slimes, Whopperflowers, other boars, foxes, and birds.

You were safe. You were loved.

૮꒰づ˶• ༝ •˶꒱づ ˚ʚ ꒰⁐⁐⁐⁐୨🍰🍧🍮୧⁐⁐⁐⁐꒱ ɞ˚

“You have to check it out! I understand that the main issue is The Stormterror, but Miss. Jean! It’s a large pile of monsters and animals! This could pose a great threat!”

The distressed traveler continued to rant at the Acting Grand Master, causing her to sigh.

Everything lately had been so stressful, even with the help of the Blonde Traveler. Currently they were with Lisa at The Temple of the Lion.

She genuinely, truly didn’t want to ask them to help with this.

So she decided to check it out on her own.

Standing from her desk, she walked around to shake the hand of the now silent traveler.

“Don’t worry. I’ll check it out and do what I can to help in the situation.”

She was met with many thanks from them as they shook her hand up and down with vigor.

Lord Barbatos she was tired…

Making sure she was all ready to go and had her trusty Aquila Favonia, and headed out.

Nodding at everyone she passed, she quickly made her way out of the city and towards the place of interest.

The place said to be the historical ground of her hero, Vanessa’s ascension to Celestia.

The Symbol of Mondstadt’s Hero, Windrise.

Running her way over, it was very apparent that the Traveler was not kidding. She could see the large multicolored blob from where she was, though it wasn’t moving.

The thing had just recently appeared, but that didn’t change the fact that this was still dangerous.

Creeping towards the pile, she was met with the cacophonous sound of snores from monster and animal alike.

And she was now confused.

Never in Jean’s life had she ever seen a fox curled around a Sawachurl. Or a bird sleeping peacefully on a Lawachurl. Or boars cuddled up with Mita and Hilichurls.

Wait.

Boars cuddled up with… oh.

Sighing she readied her sword to attack and find where that boar was under all this, before a Frostarm Lawachurl shook itself awake. The sudden movement startled her and she was met with the blank carved eyes of its mask boring into hers.

The two stared for a bit, before it huffed and laid back down, cuddling into a Blazing Axe Mitachurl who was… well… cuddling it’s still-red-but-put-out axe.

Jean was bewildered at the interaction, standing from her attack position. Looking more, she took a risk.

She stepped forward.

She was met with whirrling of a Ruin Guard starting up.

If what she was thinking was true, then why was anything of Ruin here?! The boar hadn’t been known to wander into any of the shrines or otherwise where they may have been found!

She was met with a Guard turning to her. Again she readied for an attack.

Only to be met with small ‘beeps’ and ‘boops’.

It, like the Lawachurl only glanced at her, before lying back down.

Okay, what was going on?!

Now she just decided to walk through the large crowd, though through is a strong word. On was more like it.

And as she got closer to the large Oak tree, she noticed the dip right at its trunk. The pile only got larger, and when she got to the trunk, there was a large divet. Jumping down, she was met with the culprit she thought she’d meet.

The boar.

૮꒰づ˶• ༝ •˶꒱づ ˚ʚ ꒰⁐⁐⁐⁐୨🍬🍧🍦୧⁐⁐⁐⁐꒱ ɞ˚

Being shaken awake was not what you wanted right now.

Groaning and huffing, you tired to push the hand off, only causing it or come back and push harder.

You continued to shove it off until it finally stopped. You sighed in relief and snuggled back into the warmth around you, falling back asleep.

At least, until you heard the scared cries of a Sawachurl.

Cracking your eyes open you immediately notice an angered(??) Jean standing over you and a Pyro Sawachurl. And she was directing that anger(???) towards the small churl.

Oh. Hell. No.

Jumping up you lightly but into her. Though your ‘light but’ sent her crashing into the large wall of bodies behind her.

Which started to wake up the large pile.

Animals and monsters grunted and groaned as Jean stood in shock at the ripple effect of your actions.

You were just watching a fox climb up the tree in interest.

The whole pile had woken up, standing confused at you and the only human. Jean was noticeable tense.

Shaking off the blanket, you snorted, grunted and oinked into the crowd. And after a moment, they began to disperse, much to Jean’s amazement.

“How did you… anyway. You can’t do… this anymore, alright? I don’t understand how you got these monsters and otherwise to not attack humans but I’ll have you know that you gave passing travelers quite the scare. You understand, right?” Jean asked.

You stood and gently nodded, still tired and slightly overwhelmed by past thoughts.

She sighed and made a decision.

Walking behind you - making you look at her with interest - she wrapped her hands around your midsection and picked you up, causing you to struggle.

Your distressed squeals filled the air as she began to explain. “I just - ngh - need to keep an eye on - hey watch it! - keep an eye on you - ow!” Her words were interrupted by your squirming and moving in her arms, but at her words you slowed.

… Right. The Stormterror situation.

She looked down with concern when she noticed you no longer struggling - she was expecting a fight the whole way - and was startled by the far off look in your eye.

Sucking it up, she began to carry you back to The Knights of Favonius Headquarters.

૮꒰づ˶• ༝ •˶꒱づ ˚ʚ ꒰⁐⁐⁐⁐୨🍩🍬🍨୧⁐⁐⁐⁐꒱ ɞ˚

Seeing you in the office was not what Kaeya was expecting.

Having never met you personally but hearing stories around the city, seeing you in Jeans office sat beside her desk was a surreal experience.

The only reason he was here and not waiting for the Traveler was because he had been told the Jean had left, and with Lisa also not there, he was in charge for the moment.

Was he just a bit pissy that he was the only asked after they realized Lisa was gone?

… No comment.

But by the time he got back it didn’t matter because Jean and… you were already there.

He barely got a word in anyway because the door swung open with the Librarian and Traveler in tow.

“We’re back!~” Called Lisa. Aether stood behind her, red in the face. Kaeya wasn’t shocked with how… sultry she could be.

She was definitely an acquired taste, that was for sure.

But the moment of peace was broken by your loud squeals and oinks of distress, and the blue-coded man noticed you were looking at their new blonde friend.

And when you got up to start running, he made a split second decision.

He dove for you.

૮꒰づ˶• ༝ •˶꒱づ ˚ʚ ꒰⁐⁐⁐⁐୨🍯🍡🍫୧⁐⁐⁐⁐꒱ ɞ˚

A sharp crack was heard when your hoof made contact with Kaeya’s face.

You stood startled for a moment, before making eye contact with Aether again and panicking all over again.

You hadn’t made your decision!

You thought you’d at least get until he finished the Main Story Quest to make your decision!

Your panicking and running form was confined to the room as Jean commanded the doors be shut and locked from the outside.

This choice was made clear after you made a b-line for the door and rammed into it. You stumbled a bit for a second before running around again.

Using any kind of Vision or otherwise was immediately out of the picture due to the confined space and bunches of important documents and books in the vicinity.

Jean also tried to make a grab out you, which worked for a second… until you infused your body with Electro, shocking the shit out of her.

Now they had no clue what to do.

Well wait… nevermind.

Trying to coral you was the best bet.

And that’s what they did. But that just made you more wild.

Didn’t they ever hear the saying “A cornered animal will fight twice as hard.”?

Because that’s exactly what happened.

You rammed into walls and windows, no longer squealing but screaming.

It sounded sickeningly human to them.

You rammed past them and into the desk, causing a sharp letter opener to fall onto you.

Slicing your skin and making you bleed.

Gold.

It shined as you collapsed to the floor. Shaking and crying. Tired and hungry.

Those who were awake - you knocked out Kaeya - stood in shock as you continued to cry.

Lisa silently traced the paint on your fur. It’s swirling patters that, now that she saw them and was analyzing them anyway, looked like the patterns that lined the statues of their Creator.

Jean finally thought about your odd relationship with the creatures of Teyvat. How they listened to you and became docile in your presence. How they payed attention to only you and never harmed humans when around you. You calmed them. Like the Creator.

Paimon - who watched the ordeal from a corner in fear - put together how the fauna blocked Aether from reaching you and how the wind seemed to boost you away from the duo. How Teyvat seemed to help you. Much like it would the creator.

Jean and Lisa turned to each other. They just thought you had a weird mutation or something of the sort! Maybe even a vision! Would be the first time an animal got given a vision but that’s what they chalked it up to!

But this… they thought of who they thought was the Creator who was sitting on their throne right now, enjoying the finer things in life.

They were… lying?

The person they had been worshipping for.. years now.. was FUCKING LYING?!?!

Jean dropped to her knees and Lisa shook.

A whispered murmur left Paimon’s lips which startled Aether.

“The Creator…”

૮꒰づ˶• ༝ •˶꒱づ ˚ʚ ꒰⁐⁐⁐⁐୨🍰🍩🍯୧⁐⁐⁐⁐꒱ ɞ˚

Waking up in the med bay of The Knights of Favonius Headquarters was not what you were expecting.

A bandage was wrapped around your midsection and a guard was stationed at your door.

The most shocking thing however, was that every Vision Holder in Mondstadt - including the Traveler - was in your room.

Even Albedo and Eula.

Shaking and coughing alerted them to your now awake status. Those who were seated now stood.

You noted the bandage on Kaeya’s chin and felt bad.

Though that quickly turned to confusion when everyone - again, including Aether - bowed.

Then that confusion turned to fear as they spoke in unison.

“Our humblest greetings, O’ great Creator.”

…Shit.

Note

Different hybrids come from different dimensions. The overworld, the nether, the end, the void, the Aether, and the twilight forest. Some of those dimensions are considered myths or uninhabitable so players from those dimensions tend to disguise themselves or lie about what dimension they’re from.

Gem is a deer hybrid, which is a perfectly normal overworld mob, thank you very much (twilight forest)

Zed is a normal sheep he is not a big horned sheep tons of sheep hybrids have larger horns (twilight forest)

Xisuma and evil x are not from the void they are from the end the name void is just a coincidence

Grian is a perfectly normal parrot hybrid he does not have hundreds of eyes (void-watcher)

Skizz is also a perfectly normal avian with a normal amount of eyes lots of avians have pure white wings (Aether-angel)

The two of you were fending off a few enemies, they were coming at the two of you with blazing weapons. Your beloved was more than capable of defending and defeating at the same time but with dozens of these big enemies suddenly ambushing the two of you there was no way he could avoid all attacks.

While you were defending yourself you suddenly heard a pained grunt and immediately you could smell blood. Turning back around you saw your beloved’s pained expression and the purple cladded enemy who was raising its katana high above his head with its intention to strike down the person you loved.

Feeling the blood throb in your temple, your breathing became labored and heavy while you began to experience tunnel vision becoming extremely focused on the two of them, so focused that you didn't hear the other mob of enemies around you. The rage you felt towards the lowly enemy that hurt your beloved was immense, it made you want to rip the enemy apart- so that's what you did.

Kazuha

Kazuha was your battle partner so he was grateful you defeated the enemy before he was struck down, but he sensed something was wrong with the way you acted. He could feel it in the way the winds were reacting. He could also see it in the way you were ripping the enemy apart with pure malicious intents.

When the enemy was ripped apart with your bare fists, you stood still and turned around towards the other enemies. You muzzle was off and you were smirking so widely that your fangs were visible, your kimono was barely hanging onto your body.

He was concerned of course, but firstly he let you do your thing with the other enemies until there were none left. But you didn't stop, you almost attacked Kazuha when he gripped your arm with a concerned expression. He had a bruising grip onto your shoulder because otherwise you had attacked Kazuha. There were only a few words he needed to say for you to relax and slump forward into his arms, he was glad that you were calmly in his arms again.

“It's okay, I'm okay. We are safe, I'm right here.”

Xiao

Before he could even react and easily defeat the worthless enemy in front of him, you had already kicked its head off. He was flabbergasted, shocked with the events that just took place in the span of 5 seconds. What he did not expect was for you to go on a rampage on the hilichurls and other insignificant enemies in the area.

You were ripping anything apart that came into your vicinity. He was frowning, he knew many comrades that lost their lives while they went on a rampage because they lost control. He also knows what it's like to almost lose control, there were many times he was struggling but each time you were there to get him back.

This time it was his turn, his turn to get you back. He didn't want to lose you, there was no way. So he quickly teleported in front of you, luckily you recognized him and stopped your attacks. He could see the way you were struggling not to lose control. And when he placed his hand on your cheek so gently, you snapped out of it.

“I will be the one to comfort you this time.”

Venti

It felt weird to him, he didn't understand why you suddenly went so ballistic on some stupid enemy that he could easily defeat. It felt insignificant to him that you would go as far as to take your anger out on the enemy for him. But you were so important to him that he didn't want to see you in distress.

Wrapping his arms around your waist, he pulled you snug against him with him laying his head in the crook of your neck. For someone who looked like a weak twink with his noodle-like limbs, he was quite strong as he was holding the struggling you tight against him.

Blood was gathered over your body and there was some seeping out of your mouth, but you were still in a daze. There was pure rage in your eyes. Your body was getting tired and so you slumped in Venti’s arms. You and him sunk to the ground as he was still hugging you, just in case you would attack again. But after a while he just held you out of pure adoration.

“Let’s get you cleaned up alright?”

Aether

His usually blank face was replaced with a panicky one when he saw the crazed look in your eyes. He didn't know what to do so he stood there rooted to the ground. He was mostly worried for you, all kinds of thoughts running through his mind; What if he couldn't stop you? What if you were not saveable? What if you were gonna attack him next? What if?

All kinds of what if’s running through his mind, but when he saw the pain you were in he quickly looked around the area for anyone that could possibly be hurt by you. When he saw no one he first spoke to you in a calm voice that made you turn towards him. What he did not expect was you rushing towards him with your claws out.

With his quick reflexes he was able to stop you from attacking him. He was panicking again, it was visible in the strain in his voice and his body language. He was now talking at a faster space to you, hoping you would snap out of it. His hold on your wrists were tight when suddenly he saw tears leaking out of your eyes and your posture finally relaxing. He could see the pain and regret in your eyes, but that was a problem for later he was gonna fix.

“Don't feel guilty please, it's my fault not yours. I was supposed to stop you earlier on…”

Diluc

A heavy sigh left his mouth as he watched you run around killing all kinds of animals. Maybe he could just let you ruin those monsters so Mondstadt would be a little saver. Even if he truly wanted to let you do that, his body and heart wouldn't allow him. Especially not when you went batshit for him. For him.

He was used to being alone until you came into his life, he already knew that you were dangerous and a demon but he couldn't care less when it was you. It was you who loved him. It was you who understood him. It was you who was always there for him. It was you and no one else, it was you he was choosing. Even if the whole of Mondstadt burned down, his first priority would be you.

So with his heart, body and mind set on you, he cautiously approached you. He didn't want to frighten you nor did he want to fight you. You were ripping a Mitachurl apart when suddenly you were brought into a headlock. It was obvious that you were very tired and that your body couldn't handle much more so when the Mitachurl vanished into the wind and Diluc whispered into your ear to sleep, that's exactly what you did.

“I'll always be here for you, so sleep now….you deserve it.”

Scaramouche/WandererThe annoyed expression on his face did not waver one bit as he watched your maniac laughing. He wasn’t annoyed because of you, well yes but no. He was annoyed that this was happening to you. If he could take your demon side and ‘gift’ it to someone else he would do it in a heartbeat.

But he had to admit it was kind of satisfying seeing you take out all your anger on someone else for him. But he didnt want you staying on this crazy side for too long, so he opted to save you. Even if saving you tasted like acid in his mouth, because he didn't want to see in this state at all he of course as your partner knew that you hated hurting any creature.

So he would for once put aside his pride and take your health in his hands, and he would take care of you. But before he could do that he had to turn you back. When you were on your knees suckerpunching a monster into the ground he took that as the opportunity to knock you out, by simply chopping your neck at a specific angle. And when you fell limp to the ground he took that as the opportunity to carry you in his arms.

“I'm glad that you didn't decide to betray me.”

‣Okay so I've been reading too much SAGAU lately and I couldn't stop myself from making my own idea of the Au. Now please take note that English is not my first language and I'm using mobile so it's gonna be rlly shitty.

Now, being isekai'd into another world by the famous truck-kun was something you always thought of as something fictitious (and as silly as it sounded you hoped it wasn't.) Of course it was fictitious, not until it happened to you.

It was your fault honestly, if you weren't so caught up reading R18 Genshin impact x reader fan fictions, you wouldn't be dead, but you could have sworn to the heavens above that, that truck came out of fucking nowhere.

And as if being hit by a truck wasn't enough, now you were being chased by a mob of angry knights with sharp swords pointing towards you with the intent of murder. The same knights from a game you oh so adored, Genshin impact.

At first you were happy, after all—being iskeai'd to your comfort game might be everybodys dream. But when you stepped into Mondstadt, The city of freedom, you were greeted by harsh glares and sneers from the people, it all happened so fast... your world was a blur (probably the after effects of getting hit by a truck) and now you're running for your life.

Why are they chasing you again? Oh right, it seems that you've committed a heinous crime, a crime so horrible you deserve the death penalty, and that was looking like a God you've never heard before.

"Bullshit"

You were limping, every bone in your body was hurting. You just got hit by a literal truck for fucks sake, how are you even standing? You're pretty sure you should be dead by now. Did being iskeai'd to another world lessen the pain? You didn't know, nor did you want to know.

It hurts. It's been hours since your last stop in a hillichurl camp (they seemed to be all to happy to let you rest), but after being spotted by the knights, you started running again, going through the beautiful terrains you once went through as Aether in the game. You wanted to rest but the knights chasing you had other plans.

You've been running for days and nights, can't they just give you a break?

"You filthy impostor! Stop running!" You could hear Jean shout from a distance. For once you hoped she was just in her office overworking herself. Losing the knights would be easier without her leading them. Was looking like some God you didn't know really that bad for the Acting Grandmaster of The Knights of Favonious to chase you down herself? Hell, even Lisa and Diluc are here, there's Venti too and how can you forget that cute child arsonist throwing bombs at you?

Hell they even went as far as chasing you from Mondstadt to Liyue. And speaking of Liyue, you could see the the Masked Yaksha in the group -his pole-arm that you gave him- in hand ready to eliminate poor little old you. 'I thought he doesn't hurt mortals?!' Was your first thought—maybe you were an exception. Huh? If Xiao's here then Zhongli, Hu-tao and the Liyue Qixing may not be far.

A mix of explosion and and thunder were heard behind you, you didn't need to look behind to know that they were close, but you weren't afraid of them catching you, not when a they're fighting hordes of hilichurls, mitachurls and five ruin guards that came out of some kind of portal...? You don't know how they're here and why they're helping you, but either way you're thankful. And because of that you now feel bad for killing them just to get materials for leveling and ascending your characters who were now trying to kill you.

You just ran and ran until you reached the boarders of Dragonspine, after parkouring through the the group of camping adventurers who had their weapons high, ready to strike.

You ran through the snowy terrain, feeling the cold air blow against your burning skin hurt. It was cold too,really, really cold. The wound on your stomach that you didn't notice was starting to hurt more and more. You're legs were about to give up but you continued further. Hoping to spot a hillichurl camp to stay in and maybe eat those suspicious looking steak and maybe you could make a delicious soup to share with the hillichurls...but alas-life was bitch, you couldn't find any.

You're body collapsed, you were tired, dead tired. The snow felt cold against your skin.

You layed there still, liquid started to pool down from your open wound, staining the snow a mix of gold and red. In short you were dying. Your mind started to wander, 'Will the boars eat me?'...wait do boars even eat meat? You didn't know, you just hoped that if they did, you'd already be in the after life.

Sleepiness started to take over, but if you slept in this weather you'd die for sure.

It was silent in Dragonspine, other than your ragged breathing you couldn't hear anything. Well at least it was. Rushed footsteps can be heared—and the next thing you know, a pair of mismatched eyes stared down at you, hands gripping the hilt of his sword.

"Kaeya..." You whisper.

Is he going to stab you? He probably will. Well at least he'd look hot doing it— You note as you closed your eyes waiting for your impending death and letting sleep wash over, but for some reason it never came. Instead you felt shaky hands wrap around your figure before being gently lifted from the the ground. With a whisper of reassurance from the man, you started to move. Then everything went dark.

'What?'

the moment xiao opens his eyes from his quick nap, the first thing he sees is the view of narukami island.

the yaksha was alerted at first, wondering how he came from hunting around dihua marsh for demons to sitting down beneath a tree with a new environment he hasn’t been in before.

it wasn’t until he realized he’s in a different outfit and different body that he found out that today’s the special day.

he hopes you aren’t in too much pain.

he observes his surroundings for a moment, then his eyes moved down to his appearance, only to see an outfit that is deemed fit for a traveler. his soulmate is a traveler in inazuma?

now that the yaksha thinks about it, he has heard the unfortunate fate the people of inazuma has to go through with the new rules that the current archon has set up, with her soldiers taking away people's visions, discrimination against outlanders, and the borders being closed around the nation.

xiao immediately checks around his– or rather his soulmate's– body to see if they have a vision, feeling relieved when he felt the familiar form of a vision hidden underneath his clothing.

all he needs to do is hide the vision and not go to the city, where he's sure a lot of vision hunters will be found.

this shouldn't be too hard, right?

meanwhile, you're currently writhing in pain in your soulmate's body, confused with what's happening to you– or rather, your soulmate's body.

you honestly had never such intense pain until now, how the hell does your soulmate deal with this? did he get a rare illness?

you couldn't think straight, your mind throbbing in pain as your body continued to ache and ache with voices running in your he–

"xiao? are you okay?" you shakily look up at the woman, who was staring at you with a concerned look on her face.

before you could try to let out a word, you immediately dropped on the floor, gasping out from the continuous pain. when does it ever stop? you rather go back to inazuma and suffer their new regulations instead of going through this pain–

"you're not xiao, are you?" she asks, causing you to nod profusely in response as you clench your fists together, closing your eyes shut whilst ignoring the woman, who was busy looking for something in her clothing.

"here." you open your eyes to see her handing you what looked like a pill. as if the woman read your mind, she quickly clarified what the pill is. "it's a painkiller. your uh, soulmate gave it to me and told me to give it to you in case you two swit–"

without letting the woman continue, you immediately snatched the pill from her and swallow it whole.

it took what felt like more than 20 minutes for the pain to finally subside, causing you to finally sigh in relief. although the pain was still there, it surely wasn't as painful and unbearable as before.

by the time you calmed yourself down, you slowly stood up from the cold floor and look at the woman gratefully. "you have my thanks, miss...?"

"verr goldet," she responds with a gentle smile. "i'm the owner of this inn. if there's anyone you should thank for, it's definitely your soulmate. you would've suffered the whole period of your body swap if it weren't for his thoughtfulness."

you nodded in understanding. "i see.. but i still am grateful for you stepping in."

"it's no problem, though i'm sure you're starving right now, would you like to eat?"

"yes please."

unlike what you recently went through in xiao's body, xiao was having perhaps one of the most peaceful time he has ever experienced. after all, when will he find an opportunity to not suffer from his karmic debt in this lifetime?

although killing the opponents who came in his way was a hassle, he still found his time enjoyable– with the exception of his mind thinking a lot about your wellbeing in his body. surely verr goldet must've given you the painmeds, right?

besides that, you must've seen the instructions he left for you– but what if you didn't see it and had to go through so much pain later on?

"please be okay." he mumbled under his breath, letting out a worried sigh and continued walking around the land.

unnoticed by the yaksha, you were indeed okay.

"i can see why my soulmate would love these," you commented to verr as you take more bites of the sweet dessert. "what does he do daily?"

verr lets out a nervous laugh. "to be honest, i don't really know what else he does other than hunting demons around the nation. though, you don't have to worry about doing it since xiao insisted that you can spend the whole day here instead."

"oh..." you look down at your plate with a deep frown. what if there's a demon that's hurting people and you couldn't do anything about it?

before you could ask verr, she immediately looks up at where the reception area is. "i have to go now. if you want to know anything, i recall xiao telling me to tell you to look at the instructions in your pocket. i'll be back!" she said before rushing upstairs to tend to one of the visitors, leaving you alone with your food.

you searched for the pocket around your pants, pulling out the piece of paper and read the list.

"should the pain meds run out, please visit a man named zhongli in liyue harbor."

"don't try to hunt for demons unless you want to experience more pain to endure."

"please come to verr goldet if you need something or require food. almond tofu is the only thing i can stomache, unfortunately."

"do not come to public areas if you have no reason to go there. karmic debt– the pain you're going through right now– can be affective to others."

the rest was all more rules for you to read and you're honestly thankful for xiao to write all of this for your sake, now regretting that you didn't do the same for him. what if he isn't aware of what's happening to inazuma?

you take another bite of almond tofu, silently hoping that xiao is doing okay back in your homeland.

to tell you the truth, xiao's definitely doing alright.

the yaksha had never went out of liyue for a very long time until now. sure, he could admit that nothing can beat the beautiful views that liyue can offer but inazuma is a sight to see.

everywhere he went, he found himself being fascinated by everything in this land, looking through ruins and staring at flowers that he himself hasn't seen in all of his life.

not to mention the fact that the mobs that lurks around the areas are different than the ones in liyue.

he would be lying if he said he hadn't thought of getting you out of the nation and come to liyue harbor, but he knew it wasn't up to him to decide on that. if it weren't for his duty in protecting liyue, xiao would've wanted to try and go to inazuma just to keep you safe, but what if you dislike him after everything you went through in his body? what if you didn't like him because he's immortal–

"they won't think such thing." he mumbled to himself, still slightly taken back by the sound of your voice coming out from his mouth as he sat down in an abandoned adventurer camp he spotted, looking forward to try out foods that he can make with the ingredients he found in your inventory.

as the day went by, you spent there in wangshu inn, writing a letter for xiao to read by the time the body switch is over along with visiting the man who can provide you more pain meds. xiao on the other hand spent time adventuring around inazuma trying to not get caught by vision hunters, enjoying his time without karmic debt.

by the end of the day, as the moon rises, the both of you finally found yourselves back in your bodies– with you sighing in relief that you've already finished writing the letter and not having to be in pain again whilst xiao was happy to be back in his homeland.

you then noticed you're in watatsumi island, your home being not too far away from where you're standing, causing you to smile. who knew xiao unknowingly took you back to where you've been heading to?

xiao on the other hand, was sitting on the rooftop of wangshu inn, reading the letter you left with his heart pounding at the words you wrote just for his eyes.

his shoulders instantly relaxes when he reads that you were okay throughout the day–

his mouth twitches upward when he reads the last words you wrote.

"once i come to liyue harbor and escape from inazuma, i wish to meet you and enjoy almond tofus with you."

Gonna talk about Blood Moon saga now because that's long overdue and I've been meaning to talk about itt, 'cause hooo boyy this comic was wildd X"DD

Sooo, in shortt, Blood Moon saga was an old Team Scorpions comic that I had made around the time Plantae was being worked on back in 2019 that was inspired by Red Venom Sagaa, an official Team Scorpions workk

Mob had told me that it wasn't canon to the official Team Scorpions lore (since some of the characters didn't exist in canonn) which is finee, because now I can change that comic to make it fit with Exits (My Cuphead AU, you can read about it heree), 'cause a lot of what took place isn't canon to it anymoree >:)

Basicallyy, the main plot of this comicc, was that Rodger Clematus (an OC of minee that was canon to Plantaee, he was in Maxinne's lore sheet on the Plantae blogspott, buut he was never mentioned by namee) allowed Beatriz and Charleston to be apart of the Nightshade Mafiaa:

In whichh, their first job was to kidnap Cagneyy (Aether in my AU noww) who was still sharing a body with Passive Cagneyy (Pheobe in my AU noww), in this comic, this would be Cag's first time meeting Beatrizz:

There was some sort of B plot with Scotch/Azazel (Az in my AU noww) wanting to kill Rodger and take Cagney and the seed for himself so he could be the most powerful Nephilim as welll (this entire thing isn't canon in my AU anymoree, I don't care for this plott)

While the Team was out searching for Cagss, Scotch possessed him and killed one of Rodger's assistants (Ramone, another plant that was shown in the beginningg) so he could try and take his seedd, which eventually failedd, as Rodger found Cags and Scotch got out of his bodyy

Right when Rodger found himm, the Team Scorpions showed upp, aand to before Rodger could do anything to themm, Scotch shot Rodger and fuzed with himm

Noww, fusion waas... A strange thing in Plantaee (Yess, fusion was canonn). For this concept of fusionn, it would either have to be a romantic thingg (by this I mean sexuall, it was often that Beatriz would fuse with Cagney or someone else in the TS comics Mob madee... Meaning either Cagney or someone else would likely be r*pedd, as both Passive and Aggressive Cagney had a partner of their ownn ((Blind Specter and Levin Nightshadee)), or someone would have to kill the other person and then fuse with themm

For examplee, this was Elizabeth (Cagney's daughter with Specter, I think she was around 8-12 years old in Plantae) fused with Beatriz in Red Venom saga (This was where the "Belladonna death animation" was fromm, this comic was the sourcee):

Honestlyy, looking back at itt, it was ehhh.

I meann, it was my first Team Scorpions comicc, and the one I had the most fun makingg, so obviously it's a key point in somethingg. I still have fond memories of making itt, though nowadays I'm not interested in making comics anymoree

⇲This is simply a spin off and perhaps a different timeline. If people enjoy this, then maybe ill write more and expand on this idea. Unlike my other works, there may not be as much sexual mentions, for I see it doesn’t exactly fit.

What if they thought you were a fake?

A fake God that took Aether as your vessel to lie and doom all of Teyvat. You don’t act as if you’re a God, so among the Archons and others, it raises suspicions.

You act as if your humans and such lies are deceitful.

The flames are hot, and Aether clings to the body made for you. You both stagger and trip over yourself. The townspeople tried to burn you both alive. Aether is furious, but you. Innocent sweet, you stood shock and bewildered as voices screamed and cheered. Cheering to the death of the fake God.

“Aether...”

Your voice shivers and quakes, and he feels nothing but regret and pain. “My God. Forgive me.” He holds onto you, pulling away from the burning building. Finding a safe cave to hide you in. You have poured your sweat and tears into the world and have saved nation after nation.

“Aether... I-” Laying on the small pallet of leaves, have, and furs. Aether looks up from the fire, making soup from a metal pot he stole. The sun had set hours ago, yet you hadn’t slept. The murder attempt took place days ago, yet the idea still haunted you.

“Rest. I will figure out something...” His voice is uncertain as he smiles, placing the bowl to the side and placing the ladle down. He crossed to your side, pulling the blanket further over your build. Watching your eyes droop before you slip into sleep. You're still so weak, he frowns. Albedo had yet to perfect your body, and now, Aether would die and be reincarnated a billion times, before he’d trust the alchemist again.

Every day, while you slept, he would disappear. Stealing food and supplies, and striking down any that saw him and while you were awake, he stood by your side, helping you walk and eat, helping your body adjust to this world.

“Y/N. Your body is getting stronger.” He praises you proudly, watching you walk for the first time without the wall nor his help.

“I am!” You cheer yourself on, smiling at him.

They did it! They did it!

The wind recites and floats across Teyvat with joy, for the earth would never betray the true God of Teyvat. A lonely soul listens to the wind in the sails that crossed the sea and spread their joy. He listens closely and can’t help but drawn to the joy.

The wind doesn’t lie.

The moment he stepped into Mondstadt, the wind seemed to pull him, leading him to a cave. The moon is high and shines, and his sword in a mere second clashes with another. The Traveler’s. Your vessel, Aether.

He had been told you and he were dead.

He is shock and Kazuha pulls away. “You are alive?” His words are filled with shock, but Aether doesn’t stop his assault. They trade blows and Kazuha tries to speak. Tries to get answers. “Aether. Let us talk. The wind recites you rage, but this is not the way.”

“Shut up. You're all traitors.” Aether’s words are harsh and fights with all this strength, till a voice above the fight speaks. As if you spoke with the wind, they both freeze. Aether gazes darts to you, and as if forgetting his old friend’s existence, already by your side. “You should be resting.” His voice is soft, with none of the malice like when he spoke to Kazuha.

“You can’t fight everyone... Only the nations and the Archons... Only them hurt me... Aether….”

The feeling dawns on you; it wasn’t a mob that burned your home down; it wasn’t angry townspeople; they knew nothing of you. But it was those who had become your vessel, those who had befriended you. And the Archons you created.

The wind doesn’t lie.

Kazuha eases himself to your side, touches your shoulder in silent disbelief. “I thought you—They told me—I—” The lonely soul is lost for words and clings onto you, ignoring the way Aether scowls, but you slowly ease into his touch.

They vow revenge. The vow to prove to them wrong.

You are the True God.

Anything and anyone to dare to defy you. They swear to strike down everything in their path. Swords drawn and hearts bound to you. People soon believe that the wanderer was kidnapped and killed.

And time returns to normal.

As if you are not waiting. Not growing stronger and gathering allies.

Those who will never betray you.

Crimson hair shifts in the breeze, a gloved hand shielding his vision of the sun. It’s hot, as an eagle swoops over, cawing loudly. He hums softly, as the dirt crunches under his feet. The wagon wheels creak and pull as it’s pulled along by boars, entering the nation of Mondstadt. His voice is soft and genuine, as the claymore rests heavily on his back.

“... Hm... Today is an excellent occasion for grape juice....”
