i want every single white piece of shit on that post calling people fascists or misguided or privileged or stupid for not voting for biden to look a palestinian person whose entire family got killed by biden in the eyes and tell them you think they should vote for biden. tell them you think they're privileged for not voting for biden. look them in the eyes and condescend to them about how much danger they clearly don’t know they’re in.
don't actually do that. don't actually ever speak to a fucking brown person lmao. eat shit actually.
i want every single one of you genocidal freaks to think for two seconds about why you think it's acceptable to tell brown people to vote for the man committing genocide on their fucking families. to tell disabled people to vote for the man committing eugenics based genocide on them at home via covid. (you do realize the largest amount of covid protection rollbacks occurred during biden's presidency right? you do realize a thousand people a week are CURRENTLY dying from covid?)
using the threat of our rights being taken away as a cudgel against Black and Brown and disabled ppl as if the biden admin hasn’t overseen more covid deaths than the trump admin, massive attacks on immigration rights (including the recent immigration proposal increasing mandatory detention and allowing mass deportations), massive attacks on reproductive rights (they knew abt roe v wade for WEEKS. we can bypass congress for genocide & for worsening immigration rights but we can't do anything about abortion?), as if we aren't looking at the current highest levels of homelessness since 2007. and all of that on top of the fact that joe shitstain biden is LITERALLY COMMITTING GENOCIDE.
the audacity. the absolute audacity. of this white bitch going ""vote for them: the most marginalized, the most vulnerable"" BIDEN IS KILLING "THEM." BIDEN IS KILLING US. How dare you speak for us? biden's complete rollback of covid protections have killed more people than trump. biden's admin has utterly abandoned disabled people to die. he is committing a eugenicist genocide against all disabled and immunocompromised people. he is committing a genocide against palestinians. the audacity to call those people "privileged" for refusing to enable THEIR OWN GENOCIDES.
"boohoo we have no choice but to vote for the genocidal fascist or else there'll be fascism!!!" you dumb fuckers we are already living in a fascist state. you don't care about stopping fascism. you don't care about stopping genocide. you care about fascism and genocide not hurting you. if spineless liberals and dems want so badly to beat trump they should put forward a candidate who hasn’t alienated the voter base that let them win the last time, not the candidate that barely won four years ago before reneging on his promises (student loans, environmentalism, etc), killing half a million people from covid, and killing 20,000+ more via colonial genocide.
to every dumbass in those notes going “uwu he isn’t perfect uwu he isn’t my first choice uwu we can't let ~disagreements~ get in the way uwu voting is like public transport <3 voting is like a group project”: ten thousand children are dead. ten thousand children are dead. ten thousand children are dead. biden killed ten thousand children. what the fuck is wrong with you.
i hope you all rot.

A letter
Romanticize mental illness until you’re about to jump off a bridge because the world isn’t ready for you yet.
Because your thoughts and ideas are like babbling nonsense to the neighbor that supported Trump and said a women can’t make her own decisions.
Because we must be the only living creatures in space and with that said we kill everything that we believe doesn’t feel as strongly as we do.
We eat to extinction.
We harvest to unhabitability.
Vegan? You’re taking away animals’ homes anyway, so you might as well rip the head off the bird whose nest was torn down to make your tofu.
Pescatarian? The Mercury will kill you if the sharks haven’t decided you’re next because you took everything from them.
We are the aliens we should be afraid of.
We are the evil that lurks in shadows.

A California surfing school owner who was charged with killing his two children in Mexico is a follower of QAnon and Illuminati conspiracy theories who thought the children "were going to grow into monsters so he had to kill them," federal officials alleged.
Matthew Taylor Coleman, 40, was charged Wednesday with foreign murder of U.S. nationals in connection with the death of his 2-year-old son and his 10-month-old daughter, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Central District of California. Authorities said Coleman confessed to the killings and told the FBI that he used a spearfishing gun to stab them.
A criminal complaint alleges that he told the FBI that he killed his children because he believed they "were going to grow into monsters" and that conspiracy theories led him to believe that his wife had passed down her "serpent DNA" to the children.
Coleman's wife, identified only by her initials, contacted Santa Barbara police after her husband had taken the kids out on Saturday but didn't tell her where they were going, the complaint said. She grew concerned after he failed to respond to her messages, and, knowing that her husband didn't have a car seat with him, she called police.
A missing person's report was filed Sunday, and officers asked her to use Apple's Find My iPhone feature to see whether she could find Coleman, the complaint said. The program showed Coleman's last known location in Rosarito, Mexico, it said.
Police alerted the FBI to the investigation as it became a case of suspected parental kidnapping. Coleman was detained Monday after an inspection by border protection agents of his van upon his re-entry into the U.S., where agents didn't see his children and found blood in the vehicle, authorities said.
The complaint alleges that Coleman confessed to the killings upon being interviewed Monday and gave authorities the location of the murder weapon and the discarded bloody clothing. He also identified two bodies recovered by Mexican authorities as those of his children, it said.
A judge ordered that Coleman be held without bond Wednesday and scheduled his arraignment for Aug. 31.
According to the complaint, Coleman said that he knew what he did was wrong but that "it was the only course of action that would save the world."
"Serpent DNA" is a likely to be a reference to the "lizard people" conspiracy theory, which falsely purports that reptilian aliens secretly run the world and have taken over important positions in government, banking and Hollywood.
The complaint says Coleman told authorities that he learned about "serpent DNA" through QAnon and Illuminati conspiracy theories, even though the lizard people conspiracy theory predates both by several decades.
The believers in each conspiracy theory have melded together over the last several years because conspiracy theory influencers and algorithms on social media frequently lump the theories together.
QAnon is a more recent conspiracy theory premised on the belief that a similar global cabal at the top of the U.S. government is secretly murdering and eating children and that Donald Trump was quietly working to defeat them during his time in office.
Anthony Quinn Warner, who bombed his own RV outside an AT&T building in Nashville, Tennessee, on Christmas Day, claimed that lizard people were taking over Hollywood and the U.S. government. Warner died and three other people were injured.

Ron Desantis is such a weird guy. He's basically spent the last couple years imitating Trump down to the hand gestures, doing the same culture war bullshit, and he's trying to run for president on the idea that he can win over moderate voters. But since the only thing he knows to do is be Diet Trump and eat like a weirdo, everything he does alienates the middle while failing to wrest any support from the base, which is still absolutely ride-or-die for Trump.

Say it isn't so, Ron. 😬
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the spring of 2023, Ron and Casey DeSantis visited Tucker Carlson’s Florida home for a lunch that was supposed entice the then Fox News host towards favorable coverage of the Florida governor’s soon-to-be-announced presidential campaign. It culminated, allegedly, with Gov. DeSantis instead kicking one of the Carlson family’s dogs, at least according to a new book from Michael Wolff.
According to Wolff, the lunch came about at the prompting of billionaire Rupert Murdoch, who wanted Fox’s on-air personalities to meet with Ron and Casey. Murdoch hoped they would warm to the governor as an alternative to former President Donald Trump for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.
Wolff writes: “For two hours Ron DeSantis sat at her table talking in an outdoor voice indoors, failing to observe any basics of conversation ritual or propriety, reeling off an unselfconscious list of his programs and initiatives and political accomplishments.” This hyper-ambitious bravado evidently alienated the Tucker’s wife Susie Carlson.
Matters were made worse when Gov. DeSantis allegedly pushed one of of the Carlson’s spaniels under the table with his foot – resulting in Susie Carlson concluding that DeSantis had in fact kicked one of the family dogs.
While Carlson himself has apparently told reporters the story is “absurd” and “made up”, there is of course the chance he’s just being a gracious host. The National Pulse checked with other sources with knowledge of the lunch, who said there is little reason to doubt Wolff’s characterisation of what happened. DeSantis’s odd personal behavior is well documented – including accusations that he eats pudding with his fingers, doesn’t respond well to jokes at his expense, and often alienates his own staff.
The DeSantis campaign responded to Wolff’s recollection of the lunch with the Carlsons stating: “The totality of that story is absurd and false. Some will say or write anything to attack Ron DeSantis because they know he presents a threat to their worldview.”
Did Ron DeSantis kick Tucker Carlson’s dog?. It’s unclear if we’ll ever know for sure, but it’s hardly outside the scope weird behavior we’ve already witnessed from the Florida Governor.

I don't know if you remember her backstory I typed up a while back, but yeah... Tallulah has never in her life been safe or happy, and Chayanne has only just discovered these things, and he wants to give her the universe. That's his brain-friend and little sister! She's been hunted most of her life and he'll stab you if you hurt her! But also he's sharing his dads because sometimes the monsters are too tall. Best Big Brother.
And yeah! Egg classes! They do also have stuff like reading, writing, and maths, but their education is extremely casual and all over. Especially as it doubles up as daycare. Main eggs range from about 11 (Chayanne) to 2 (Trump) in terms of development, and then there's A1/Allie who is in her late teens to look at but only about 3 months old, and because of speed growth both mental and physical development are a mess. So, education is very, very all over. Just whatever the adults fancy teaching. It's the likes of Pac and Mike and Cellbit who insist someone has to teach them maths and reading and writing hardest (AKA the ones who didn't get education themselves...), though everyone shares the burden of unfun subjects.
And writing this I realise this Cellbit probably had an extremely bad reading ability most of his life. He remembers a bit of the skill from before the amnesia, like he does many skills (unlike say Quackity's amnesia where he lost reading and maths and stuff too), but... He still had to piece it all back together. And even then his skill was only that of a 10 year old. It's good now! And he teaches the kids to read and does silly voices when he does storytime for them (Pac e Mike do maths, but also baking powder volcano type science). But... it's a skill he had to fight for. Mostly alone. The prison did force him into some education programs, but it was mostly just them ticking legal requirement boxes not actually helping him with it. Felps almost certainly also helped, but yeeeeeah. I bet for his birthday Pac and Mike are trying to find and steal him a set of literary classics and the sort of stuff you study at school as he never had the chance to do any of those. Those two at least remember the schooling they did, and made it to 13/15 which is more than Cellbit's 10, even if not enough!!!
Sorry got distracted by thoughts of like... the blorbos.
Loving the thoughts about the blorbos!! Give me all of the distracted thoughts about the blorbos!!!!!
First of all yes bestest big brother Chayanne! Beloveds <3
The classes thing is so fucking cute holy shit. And makes sense who's advocating for the Essentials the most, given their circumstances (everyone just wants better for the kids than they got themselves I'm ;-;). The ideas about Cellbit, Pac, and Mike's educations pre-everything is just so goddamned *bangs fist on table /pos* (Rrrrr that's what I love about your worldbuilding and character-crafting so much it's those little details!! They mean so much. Love love love this series so much you've no idea.)
I imagine those classes with the kids are also a nice kind of break from the craziness of ykno: alien invasions, dangerous missions, constant threat of death or annihilation or Worse hanging over their heads. Stressed out of your mind about your impending doom? Go wrangle the kids into a lesson about photosynthesis. Do finger painting with them with whatever paints you've got. Demonstrate how to use a socket wrench. Help them bake something nice to eat. Show them how to write their names. Read a book with them and help them sound out the big words. Teach them phrases in your mother tongue, and then teach them about the country you came from, and then teach them about the continents, and then teach them about the planet. Sketch the solar system with a sharpie on the back of an old mission report and draw a little arrow to the circle labeled "Earth" and tell them we are here and this is our home. Answer their million-billion questions and remember what exactly it is you're fighting for.

Dollar Bin #25:
Stephen Stills' Manassas
Tumblr media
Okay, I'm afraid it's finally time to listen to some Stephen Stills. As I've previously mentioned, my famous brother claims that Manassas is Stills' masterpiece and that after listening to it I'll make a pilgrimage to the shrine of all things Stephen, make penance on bended knee and then be forced to invent a new villain for this blog.
But I refuse to believe it. First of all, excoriating Stills makes me happy, so why would I ever stop doing so? All the other potential villains I can think of are fictional beings (you know, Sauran, the Ewoks), or are actually evil and therefore not fun making fun of (you know, Putin, Trump) or are too obscure to continually mock (Danny Kortchmire, destroyer of potentially great records by Neil Young, Linda Ronstadt, Don Hendley and Carole King, comes to mind).
But it's not fair to not give poor Steve, and my famous brother, a chance: objectivity rules in the Dollar Bin, yes? And so I must submit to my famous brother's advice and, as George Michael instructs me, listen without prejudice to Stills' double album of dog droppings.
So, let's do this: Manassas, Stills' substitute-supergroup-screw-you to C,N and Y from 72 (C, N and Y collectively shrugged and made better music without Stills). Someone get me about 16 beers and a punching bag so as to periodically take out my anger.
Song of Love opens Side 1 and, despite the fact that Neil Young probably has sixteen different unreleased songs coming out on Archives 7 in 2048 with that same sucky name, this song doesn't suck as much as we expect it to, at least at first.
Stills doesn't sound too much like a dope as he opens his pie hole to honor Song of Love's lousy lyrics, and there's space in the mix for the keyboards, bass and drums to hold their own. But then we get to the guitar solo, which could be pretty sweet - after all there's a worthwhile surprise in it as Stills unexpectedly climbs the flagpole of his own enormous ego then greases his way back to down in a flourish - but in Stills' coked-up, record mixing, hands his solo glides around the stereo space: check me out! Stills brags; I'm in your right ear now; but watch while I slide the mix over the right side - and back again! Hey everyone, Stephen brags, I learned how to spin a dial: aren't I a very stable genius?
Even so, if the rest of Manassas is as good as this song, I'm gonna have to eat some meaty crow dropped by an Amazon drone. It'll be yet another gift from my famous brother.
Next up, after a pretentiously teensy song gap, comes a song called Rock and Roll Crazies. Nice title, Stills. Come to think of it, all his titles on this record suck (seriously: there's a song called Blues Man; another is called The Love Gangster. Someone Get Me a Bucket is not a song title from the record, rather it's a request I am now making because I already need something to puke in. Apparently there is no Stills' penned number on this album entitled I'm A Giant Dickhead; that must be an outtake.)
This song sucks. Stills is dispensing advice on how to avoid being stuck up should you become, like him, a Rock and Roll God; meanwhile his rhythm section, led by the from-this-point-forward forever intolerable Joe Lala, justifies its existence by beating on its entire wall of cowbells at once. I'm a devoted pacifist. And yet I already want to punch Stills in the face.
But it gets worse! Rock and Roll Crazies is apparently part one in a medley of musical torture. After covering us with peanut butter and inviting over a whole school of starving rats in Rock and Roll Crazies, Stills crushes us into jelly with an elephant ass called Cuban Bluegrass. 51 years later Cubans everywhere are still shaking their fists at Stills in rage.
And then it gets even worse! What circle of hell are we now in? This thing claims to be a three part medley but there are at least 7 different jams stacked up. Imagine Guided By Voices's Alien Lanes reissued as a double album, but the never before heard Sides 3 and 4 completely undercut every wonderful bit of the frantic, drunken, homemade colleague that is the original record. That's what's happening in my ears. Stills apparently spent days and days in the studio making this crap up without ever sleeping. I wish he'd taken a goddamn nap.
Currently he's telling me he is part of the Jet Set. It sounds like everyone in the band has their shirt off and is flexing while hired ladies shave their chests and pay them false compliments. I don't own any Jimmy Buffet records dedicated entirely to covering Santana because this is what I imagine them sounding like.
At the end of Side 1 the bongos go nuts and there's actually some pretty cool guitar and keyboard in Anyway and especially in the somewhat hummable Both of Us. Someone/s other than Stills sings too, which is a relief. Much of the time it's probably Chris Hillman, who, after giving up on Gram Parsons, made a career of riding the coattails of increasingly annoying people, from Stills to Crosby to disco era McGuinn. Joe Lala owes me an apology for everything that's happened in this experience so far. Stephen Stills owes me another beer. Go get it Steve!
Before we flip to Side 2 I want to introduce a few big picture reasons why all of us should hate this record/band/Stephen Stills. Many more will follow later in the post and for as long as I continue to write this nonsense:
Stills claims credit for his "compositions" on this record. Dude, you made this swaggering nonsense up on the spot, and then made us listen to it. You didn't "compose" anything. I teach English for a living, so here, Steve, is an example of a composition: Dear Stephen Still, You Suck. Sincerely, The Dollar Bin. Now, someone, take away Stevie's composer baton before he accidentally puts out Joe Lala's eye.
There is no clear order of the sides. The records (remember, this is a double album, so get comfortable as I probably have 6,000 more words of anger left to spill before this is over) say that Song of Love opens Side 1, but the back of the cover says that's the start of Side 3; the inside gatefold muddles things even further. But who am I kidding, no one really gives a flying fugelhorn, because I'm the only person on earth who currently listens to this record. But still, Dear Stills, decide on a song order and stick to it. Or tempt my wrath further!
And what's the name of this band anyway? Stephen Stills is on the spine. Manassas is the name of the album. But that's the band's name too. What the hell is happening here? And who let Stills name his band after a Confederate victory? If there's a statue of Stills anywhere on earth it too needs to come down, pronto.
Okay, it's time to listen, with a very open and marginally sober mind, to Side 2.
Fallen Eagle opens. But wait. I should note before I go any further that all of Side 1 had its own subtitle, The Raven. Aside from pretension, there is absolutely no explanation or excuse for this title, let alone any title, for what we just sat through on Side 1. As near as I could tell the songs were about either nothing or about being a rock and roll star. I trust that Edgar Allen Poe's descendants sued Stills' ass.
But where were we? Ah yes, Side 2. This one gets an equally pretentious subtitle, The Wilderness. Apparently Stills wants us to travel with him into the country, where he will reveal his mastery of yet another musical form. We're down home with Stills and crew now. There are nutty fiddles and more dull lyrics. Yee-haw.
Next up Stills has thoughts on Jesus Christ. Jesus, he tells us, Gave His Love Away For Free. Thanks for the homily Father Steve. The piano here is lovely though. There is a piano player in the band, Paul Harris, but Stills lists himself as another pianist generally so we never know who's responsible for any given note. This is reason #648 for why I hate this crap.
The third song is one of Stills' best: I admit it, he has a few good songs. But that does not lose me the bet, not by a mile, famous brother. But I'll play nice and let you all give a listen to the first thing on this record that's worth your time, Colorado.
youtube
All the vocals are tasteful, the piano and steel guitar are lovely. But is it the best song with that title from this era? Of course not! Everything one of the six good things Stills has ever done is second fiddle to all the truly good things in life. So, let's take a deep breath here and listen to Linda Ronstadt's Colorado instead:
youtube
Wow, that was a nice break. Back to work:
The song that follows Stills' Colorado, So Begins the Task, is also perfectly nice; indeed it's pretty good. Both songs would have been reasonable inclusions on Deja Vu. The fact that Stills was capable of making music this straight-forwardly enjoyable but chose instead to write songs like Rock and Roll Crazies is making me crazy.
The fiddles return for the side's fourth track, Hide it So Deep. This song is not as good as the previous two songs, but it's not atrocious . If someone were singing this at a farmer's market with their case open for tips I'd give them a buck and a nod, but I wouldn't stick around.
The Wilderness wraps up with what sounds like an International Submarine Band outtake, Don't Look at My Shadow. Stills returns to his favorite lyrical topic: describing how hard it is being as famously awesome as he is. I guess that's why he understands Jesus...
Anyway, Stevie Nonwonder wants us to know that after playing for 20k adoring LA fans a handsome man like him craves a little me-time. Poor Steve, it's such a hard life he has as a young, physically fit, white, male celebrity. Don't worry Stevie, we won't look at your shadow, or you, ever again as soon as this record is over.
Here at the 1/2 way point I want to complain about the album's lousy aesthetics. The album's two pull out sleeves have identical photos of Stills on all four sides. Steve, if you wanna be a big deal 70's artist and splurge for sleeves that aren't blank, or are adverts for other artists on the label, or that encourage us to send $1.99 for Loss Leader collections, then use your investment to make your record cooler. Please ask Neil Young to show you his pull outs for Live Rust as a sweet example, Steve. (And please note, dear George Lucas, who I'm sure is among my legion of followers, those are Roadeyes, not Jawas, on stage with Neil; there is no connection whatsoever between the two hooded beings, at least according to Young and his legal representatives.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Thanks for checking in with Neil on how to do pull out sleeves right Steve-O. And while you're at it, please tell Neil that I'm sorry I spent a whole afternoon listening to your music instead of his.
But there are more complaints to be registered about the pull out's. Stills's two Manassas sleeves a) have an identical bad concert photo of Steve on all four sides and b) that bad photo is a straight up rip off image from Dylan's cover from Greatest Hits Volume 2, which had come out six months earlier. Proof displayed:
Tumblr media
Stephen, Stephen, Stephen: you are not, and have never been, a peer to Dylan. If you're looking for a peer, track down my old next door neighbor Ken. His front yard was full of broken toilets.
Stills could have put his "supergroup" bandmates on these pull outs or given us something interesting to look at, like, for example, every one of Stills' guitars and football jerseys in a beautifully flaming heap, or Stills' cat giving him a dirty look. But instead he uses the pull outs as further proof of his own suckyness.
(A quick note on the term "Supergroup": adding Chis Hillman and Joe Lala to his lineup does not qualify Stills' group to supergroup status. Supergroups do indeed exist. The Traveling Wilburies come to mind, as does Yo La Tengo, or, say, The Beatles; each is made up of people who could be a huge deal on their own but set aside their egos (at least for a moment) to elevate one another as equals. My famous brother is in an actual Supergroup as we speak. When he records his next record with me, Fuzzy Samuels and Stills my famous brother will not call it a Supergroup; he'll call it a pity project.)
Don't pawn the record's artistic ineptitude off onto someone else: alongside every other credit he dreams up for himself on this record Steve also says he's the Art Department. Every photo on the entire album, except, incongruously, two little shots of his, surely furious, engineers, are out of focus, lame and self-obsessed. Stills is as bad at making art as he is at making music.
Okay, Side 3 is called Consider. I'm considering the use of a lot of four letter words I swore I'd never use in this blog at this point; Stills is busy trembling in his Velveeta Castle (which is surely Steve's favorite kinda cheese), sure I will at last hurl such invectives at him.
It Doesn't Matter is better than the average Stills track, and once again there's pretty good guitar solo, but saying "better than the average Stills track" is like saying better than my average episode of flatulence.
I've already spent time on the second song, Johnny's Garden, and unlike Stills, I'm not a plagiarist, even of my own writing, so go reread my recent Ringo piece if you really want to hear my analysis a Stills song that rhymes "shine my shoes" with "singin' the blues." The song does have some nice guitar picking, I guess. Steve's probably better than me at picking... his nose. Ha! Even my humor is currently descending down to Stills' level at this point. Next thing you know I'll be claiming responsibility for my own art department.
Bound to Fall is a cool change of pace. Stills didn't write it or sing it, so that helps. And there's a sweet Moog thing going on. Stills takes credit for playing the Moog, of course. He's probably telling someone right now that he invented the internet too.
How Far... Move Around... do you really need me to write about these songs? They're fine: Stills sings about nothing and everyone knows how to play their assigned instrument. Move Around is actually sorta pretty with the Moog again swerving about. I hope I never hear either of these songs ever again.
But we've gotta spend a moment on The Love Gangster, which ends Side 3. The perpetually grumpy Bill Wyman, bass player for the Stones, showed up to help write it. Stills and Wyman are great peers for one another: both were forever whining about having to share the stage with bandmates who made them look special (Neil Young and Jagger/Richards, respectively). Plus, both Stills and Wyman eventually ditched their masterful peers, sure that their solo greatness would be instantly recognized, George Harrison style. But instead, to no one's surprise except their own, both men sucked solo. Both dudes are still with us; they should start a band. Eric Clapton could play lead guitar, Stan Lynch would handle drums. They could open for Jay Farrar. We'd call the whole thing Comeuppance.
The Love Gangster, in case you care, is a wandering mess. Whoever sings with Stills (it's gotta by Joe Lala) is an even more atrocious singer than he is. Thanks for stopping by and making this all even worse Wyman!
And while we are on the subject of Wyman, we need to just stop everything for a moment and read this excerpt from his Wikipedia page. Feel free to drop your jaw in advance:
In 1993, Wyman's son Stephen Wyman married Patsy Smith, the 46-year-old mother of Bill's ex-wife Mandy Smith (with whom Wyman had begun a sexual relationship a few years before, when she was 14 and he was 48; they eventually married, then divorced). Stephen was 30 years old at the time. Therefore, the ex-Rolling Stone became his own son's ex-son-in-law, the father-in-law of his ex-mother-in-law, as well as the stepgrandfather of his ex-wife.
No, I did not make any of that up. Stills has had three wives, not to mention his affair with Rita Coolidge which led to the first of CSN&Y's many breakups, but none of his relationships were straight up criminal. Apparently we need to list Wyman alongside Trump in the "too evil to mock" category for this blog. And "The Love Gangster" must also be the non-tongue-in-cheek title of Wyman's biography. Let's not read it.
Ready for Side 4 of this monstrosity? It's called Rock & Roll Is Here To Stay and I'm frankly tempted to lie and say I listened to it already and just wind things up right here. But, like the poor lady in Julie and Julia who had to eventually cook all those gelatinous meat molds, I need to finish this terrible task.
Let's get Side 4 over with in one sentence shall we? What To Do is another piece of anthem rock crap; Right Now involves guitar slides that can surely only be performed while in spandex (Stills must have invented spandex too); The Treasure (Take One) may be better than takes 2-96 of the song and involve some sweet piano licks underneath the pomposity but it sounds like donkey testicles falling onto your dinner plate and involves wackachicka guitar moves a full five years before disco, plus the rhythm shifts make we wanna shift my own status to dead; and the last song is called Blues Man: Stills wrote it about himself and performs it solo so I'll just let you imagine the horror, the horror.
There, I did it: I listened to Manassas.
I'll see my famous brother next at Christmas. I'm already carving him a piece of coal in the shape of Still's terrifying goatee.

From the wonderful Larry Schweikart. Enjoy the reading!
Letter From a DemoKKKrat Strategist
Well, actually I’m not a DemoKKKrat strategist. I’m a rabid MAGA supporter. I am offering you this advice because I know you won’t take it. Unlike many others giving you valuable advice, scrotumcrunchers, I do so fully in the spirit of accepting your holy trinity of core beliefs, namely climate whackadoodleism, transoid-homosexual societal dominance, and Jim Crow racism worthy of your Confederate ancestors. I offer these strategies fully understanding that not only won’t you stop, you can’t stop. It’s who you are now. You’ve been absorbed by Sigourney Weaver’s gut-eating alien.
Let’s begin with a sober, realistic view of what’s going to happen in the next two or three years. Republicans, with a strong dose of MAGA blood, will take back the House and the Senate in 2022. Barring some self-immolations by GOP candidates (which you can never disregard, for Republicans are the “stupid party”), there is nothing you can do to stop this right now.
Biteme is dragging you down like Amber Heard in an Aquaman movie. He hit 30% today in the Civiqs poll. Factoring in the margin of error, he is already in Nixon territory and likely will surpass Nixon’s all time low of 26% in the next year. Even were you to pull a Gandalf and magically boot him today, the damage is done for 2022. Face it. You’re gonna get clobbered, and the only question is by how much—-40, 50 or north of 60 seats in the House, two or three or up to five in the Senate? The night is still young for Republicans.
Let’s continue a realistic, sober assessment after that: your agenda, such that it was, is deader than Vision after Thanos ripped his gem out. Deader than Kevin Spacey’s career as a children’s game show host. Deader than Ghislane Maxwell—-who did not kill herself. The GOP could do any number of things in 2023-24, but I’m not advising them. I’m advising you. Realistically, you can do nothing except run to microphones and whine to your snot-groveling iguana-brained Hoax News media. But that won’t affect anything. And, as I have shown in other posts, your once golden path through the courts is closed tighter than Hillary Clinton’s anal cavity.
Then comes 2024: you’re gonna lose, and lose huge to Trump. There won’t be a national China Virus lockdown smokescreen to cover up your phoney mule-in ballots. It’s gonna be a relatively open and fair election that Biteme or whatever retread repticon they sacrifice cannot dodge, avoid, or defeat. Trump will win at historical levels. By then, he may well have a MAGA core of 40% of the Senate and 60% of the House and watch out.
I’m trying to warn you, because you have two options left. Understand, you are now the Japanese in World War II on an island about to be invaded by overwhelming American force, saturated by non-stop bombing and shelling. There are no reinforcements coming from the ChiComs or Sorosoids or anyone else. You have two choices, just as the Japanese did.
First, you could choose banzai—-full crazed, frothing, mindless frontal assaults against an enemy with overwhelming firepower. This may look impressive, but it will utterly eviscerate the fast numbers of your numb-bot followers. It’s the quickest way to instill defeatism in whatever rump of a party you have left.
Your second option, and the one I recommend, is withdrawal and digging in for the very, very long haul. Because barring some monumental screwup by Trump or the Republicans, or some totally unforseen calamity . . . . wait, has anyone seen Dr. Fallacy lately? . . .
you should plan on being out of power for at least eight to ten years. Trump will finish a successful second term in 2028, Ron DeSantis will succeed him.
Could DeSantis be a Herbert Hoover—-a man everyone assumed would be a great success because of his track record? Or a George H. W. Bush? Someone who had his entire path not only smoothed but literally gilded by Ronald Reagan? Both failed miserably. But most likely, you shouldn’t count on this. DeSantis could well be just a younger Trump who will serve two terms of his own.
You DemoKKKrats are just gonna have to ride out a decade of not being in power anywhere except your enclaves, so that is my strategy for you. The Enclave Strategy, just as the Japanese did on the islands. Retreat. Hunker down. Dig in. I figure you will still maintain near-total power of Kollyfornia, Washington, Oregon, Illinois, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Hawaii, Delaware and possibly Colorado—-thought that could change suddenly. You will probably have to give up on New Jersey (hint: see the last governor election), Maryland, New Hampshire, Maine, New Mexico, and even Minnesota.
Here’s the thing about your rump enclaves: you really are heavy in the majorities there, so it will be darn near impossible for Republicans to root you out. But ya ain’t goin’ anywhere, and you won’t be able to influence much, despite the economic power of New York, Kollyfornia, and Illinois. My advice is to concentrate on fortifying those enclaves. Because barring a DeSantis meltdown, the final assaults will come in 10 years when even these states were much weakened economically and socially by their perverse policies. By then, those states will be heavily dependent on oil, natural gas, and perhaps even new nuke plants for their energy. Smart education policies by the Trump-DeSantis Era could dramatically slash you cheap pool of university bots who power your “clean industry” of Googleified Gumbo. In a dozen ways, these enclaves will be starved out, frozen out, and ignored out of existence.
In the meantime, what do you do? Here’s where my advice runs out cuz your politics are so nonsensical that an LSD-laced platypus couldn’t understand them, much less carry them out. But hey, you don’t pay me enough yet to get you past ten years.

Top 10 conspiracy theories
These are too easy to start listing, but this is just a few:
Chemtrails are real
The moon landings were faked
George W. Bush was secretly a lizard/alien/etc.
Some of the world's most famous people are actually dead, the "real" ones taking their place, including Elvis, Einstein, and Jesus
The entire universe has been made of "negative matter" for all of time but has been "eating" everything else that exists for unknown reasons
The moon is a flat disk
Antifa are secretly a CIA/FBI/Secret Police/whoever front organization designed to destabilize left-wing movements
Obama is really a fake/alien/whatever and the real President is Donald Trump
The moon is real but evil because it controls the tides (which are actually evil)
The Earth and Sun are the same entity and are being controlled by a demon god, also called "the Earth"
Asteroids can really just be hit (or otherwise interacted with in ways they shouldn't be) to cause earthquakes, volcanoes, tsunamis, etc. Also the Earth is hollow and aliens are living inside (or possibly the other way around)
George Soros is a super villain because he is secretly funding all of the bad things that are happening in the world
Totally unrelated, here's how I'm going to be voting:
In the Presidential race, vote for Clinton, though she isn't a shoo-in (I will probably not vote for her). In the Senate races, vote for the Republican incumbent, though I've read enough about them that I am somewhat worried about them. In the House races, I don't really have a strong opinion.
If you are not going to vote, please send me an ask so I can send some money to the ACLU.

So She's finally there, at Fascism's door.
Personal: Skip if you don't care. I'm just venting
My mum over the last 3 years has allowed herself to be severely radicalised by the YouTube algorithm. She started out already possessing the "vaccines cause Autism" trope from the days when she watched Alex Jones (through his golden 9/11 era) and steadily through watching Russell Brand during the COVID lockdown she's been recommended further and further to the right content.
She's since doubled down on the Antivax crap but also she's picked up the chemtrails, Flat Earth, COVID is fake, COVID is also not fake but was made by the government for population control, 5G causes COVID and random heart attacks, Satanists sacrificing children, Jan 6th denial/Antifa involvement narrative, Fluoride in the water is to poison us, Holocaust denial and revisionism, Defending Kanye West, Defending Johnny Depp, Defending the Canadian Trucker "FreeDumbDom Convoy" and the claims that the government is in league with 11 species of aliens with 9 of which eat humans (that's apparently a child sacrifice thing by the democrats...)
She also started wearing a mask at the height of this pandemic but she mentioned this on one of her little conspiracy Facebook groups and says she was made fun of and got blocked/banned from it so then she hasn't worn one since saying they're another form of government control etc especially when she was actually sick going around coughing and spluttering in the supermarket without a mask and not even covering her mouth. She'd even purposefully cough at people wearing masks getting great joy out of it. Disgusting behaviour. What she must think of me as I stand there with her wearing a mask...
She's been getting ads recently for that Matt Walsh Documentary 'what is a woman' and watching clips of Ben Shapiro asking students why they don't identify as 60 years old as proof that Trans people are illegitimate somehow? So yeah she's on the Transphobia Train too now.
As if all of that wasn't bad enough today she's finally topped it all by throwing herself in the deep end of the Qanon content on Rumble. Apparently Elon Musk of all people is actually Q himself and he's going to run for president or VP with Trump and together they'll drop "Q drops" and go after the secret democrat led pedo/child sacrifice ring Epstein was apart of and Musk is due to release info on everyone who was on his island or photographed with Epstein (we got in an argument when I showed her that Trump and Elon have both been photographed with him and also been to his island of course)
Anyway I need to move out so please someone fucking save me. Donate to me, keep me as your pet, fucking kill me I don't care I just want out before the absolute worst happens tbh

i know you’re on twitter, so what’s the origin of this “fucking twitter libs and their hand wringing about protests outside of the houses of the conservative supreme court justices” discourse that i’m seeing which feels like a strawman situation?
It is lol.
Leftists are claiming that liberals are against people protesting against conservative Supreme Court justice’s houses when the reality is that Brett Kavanaugh’s own NEIGHBORS in his wealthy DC neighborhood, who are largely liberals and not leftists who want to eat the rich, organized the protest. Liberals, particularly liberal women of all ages (aka the Karens), are furious at this ruling and leftists legit want to play purity politics over an issue they yelled at Hillary Clinton for “fearmongering” over when she told them Trump would nominate justices to overturn Roe. They can’t pretend to care about the Supreme Court now when they openly claimed Hillary was bullying them over it like all the articles are still up lol.
The people who are doing the most pearl-clutching about respectability and not bullying conservatives are neocon never-Trumpers like Bill Kristol or flat out Republicans. Everybody else, even if they point out that protesting in front of the justices’ homes may not help the cause since it could easily alienate squishy moderates who love their norms, is like, “They deserve it for stripping bodily autonomy away from half the American population.”
That being said, the Senate passing a bill to protect the families of justices by unanimous consent isn’t a bad thing given that Ketanji Brown Jackson for one would benefit from it even if the optics are bad at this time. I don’t trust loony conservatives to not go for her or any of the other liberal justices!! Also, my DC taxes would go up if the DC police were called to protect justices and their families so it's a win-win for me anyways.

I'm caving, here's some VF HCs but pidge centric because he's my babygirl
Pidge and Larmina do get along but Larmina acts cold to him because he never could tell her why he had to leave so ubruptly after The Incident, she saw it as him pulling away and acting like every other adult in their life
Speaking of, Larmina and Pidge used to be glued together almost like siblings or the favorite cousin in the family, her ninja skills came from him
Pidge can't eat marshmallows, all Baltons can't. It's likely the high fructose corn syrup in it that ends up punching them in the gut and sends them into a bad drug trip
He has heterochromia! His glasses hide it most of the time but his eyes are normally brown, they're green because his eyes have a reflective backing to it which is what we see
got like 4-5 cats, Salami (the oldest), Oscar (the middle child), Miwa (the alien one), and Kevin (the kitten), and also green lion who he will die for before giving up his pilot seat
this man is not straight, I refuse to believe it, he is still interested in women though. Currently have him as Panromantic Demisexual
speaking of romance: I pair him with all the pilots gotta be honest, mainly shipped with Lance, Hunk, the new royal advisor, and the head of the castle guards
he does pole workouts, helps with core body strength and grip, he tries to keep himself balanced with exercise he thinks is fun
had a falling out with the original mice, ended up building the robot ones himself but he underestimated his abilities and now they're sentient :/
he's quite literally the teams trump card, with more years of combat experience than the team and his specialty in incapacitating enemies, theres a time and place though so he never goes all out
I have more but this is already getting long, don't be surprised if I upload more but centric on the others
