Which Pokémon love to cuddle/snuggle (with their trainers or other humans) the most? Any headcanons about cuddling/snuggling Pokémon if you don't mind? I'm asking this because I adore your headcanon that Absol loves to cuddle. It really made my day.

Many fire-types, including Torchic and Charmander, like to curl up on top of their trainers in order to absorb body heat

The Happiny line are always up for a hug, and hugging them also helps to reduce stress as well. Audino serve a similar purpose

Flareon are widely considered the most cuddly eeveelution, especially because they're always pleasantly warm

Growlithe tend to be lap dogs. Arcanine also are but they're big enough to flop down with their entire body on top of trainers

Skitty and Delcatty will happily cuddle with trainers they like

The Sewaddle line tend to be affectionate, which is fairly rare for bug-types (which usually show affection in other ways)

Dragonite love to cuddle and are champion huggers. Even Dratini and Dragonair will attempt to wrap around trainers they like

Snorlax are asleep most of the time but predictably they do make for an excellent pillow

Bizarrely enough, Haxorus are known to be quite cuddly after they've been caught

Bewear technically do love to cuddle, but as you can imagine, this usually isn't a great idea

Welp my dumbass decided to make Wednesday pokemon trainer cards instead of updating my WIPs. Which I'm going to do after I post this🤣

I'm not fully happy about Tyler, eugene, and the xaviers teams. Those may change.

Almost everyone always gets a legendary/mythical.

I know literally no one will read this or care. But I figured I could post it anyway.

I gave her Skorupi because of Nero, so he's her partner.

Gliscor because he's just a beast of a mon and reminds me of a scorpion/bat that fits Wednesday's dark theme. Tyler had given this to her as a present. On their first anniversary, it immediately became a favorite.

Corviknight because Wednesday is referred to as the Raven, and he just seems like the most raven mon (even though he's a crow). Wednesday found this pokemon back when it was a Rookiedee. It had fallen out of its nest. Instead of feeding it to her mother's Pyroar, she kept it.

Hydreigon because he's just a dark dragon, and I feel like he fits Wednesday's style. Wednesday had found him as a deino, the poor blind Dino had injured himself. She decided to take him in and raise him to become a terrifying dragon.

Dusknoir because he's a big scary ghost that eats souls in his chest. Out of all the ghost types, i feel like this one fits Wednesday the most. This mon snuck up on Wednesday and followed her throughout a haunted graveyard, not giving up until she caught him.

It was between Giratina (the underworld/antimatter legend) or Yveltal. Her legend I chose is Yveltal, He's the legendary of Death, basically destroying everything in sight.

(I feel bad for doing this to Tyler)

His partner - Cubone - because they both lost their moms. Cubone wears his mothers dead skull on his head. Tyler's mother had given this to him just before she passed.

(Might replace.) Bewear - literally because Tyler is sweet & adorable on the outside, but on the inside, he's hiding a dangerous monster, just like bewear.

Mimikyu - because the creature inside the suit just wants to be loved, just like Tyler. So he hides behind a suit made up of a beloved pokemon. But everytime it's trainer looks underneath the suit, they die.

Scovillian - because it's a funny play on Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde. Two faces, two different personalities.

Garchomp - Because this mon is anger filled and very hard to tame also very powerful. Kinda reminds me of the hyde.

His legend is Mewtwo. A legend made by humans and hates humanity. Reminds me of Tyler's tragic past, hating others who don't understand what he's been through.

Her partner is a shiny Spheal - Honestly, I just feel like Enid would love every single pokemon that's adorable.

Shiny) Politoad because he's just a very happy frog, and I feel like it matches. It Enids a very bubbly personality.

Arcanine - i feel like even though it's a big scary dog, she loves it because it's Fluffy and loyal. Just like Enid.

Lycanroc (Day form) just a little nod to her wolf form.

Dragonair - Honestly, it's just a beautiful mid evo that I feel like Enid would love

And her legend is Mew. It's just a cute, sweet cat that has all the DNA of each pokemon. Something I think Enid would take care of and love.

So Ajax's starter is Ivysaur - because the bulbasaur line is famous for smoking grass

Ekans because of Ajax being a Gorgon and his little snakes poke their heads out sometimes.

Slowbro because it seems like a good pokemon to get high with.

Hisuian Typhlosion because he just looks like a depressed cool boy like my baby Ajax.

Noivern - because I just see Ajax being the chill guy at parties and noiverns ears remind me of speakers.

His legend is a shiny Rayquaza just because he's a giant space snek noodle🤣

Eugene's starter is a shiny caterpie, figured he'd just be a bug type trainee.

Beedrill - because of his powers to control bees.

Heracross- same as the caterpie. Just figured he'd have a bug army.

Dewpider because he's just an adorable bean like Eugene.

Appletun because I just feel like he'd love chunky pokemon. Because chunky pokemon are the best.

wobbuffet because its a psychic pokemon and it's insane ability to use counter and I feel like Eugene would need a happy mon to keep him company.

Yes Eugene doesn't get a legend. Just couldn't find one that fit.

Her partner being Primarina - has to do with her being a siren outcast. Her partner looks like a mermaid and sings like sirens and mermaids are known for.

Being the popular girl at school, I'd imagine she'd have tons of beautiful pokemon. A florges. Being a bouquet of flowers fits that perfectly

Again, Hatterene fits the popular girl status perfectly. Another beautiful fairy type to add to Bianca's team

Bianca would also have a shiny Altaria, it being her pride since it's a rare golden color.

Beautifly - a rare evolution of Wurmple, being very beautiful & every time it flaps its wings, sparkly pollen falls with each flap.

I chose Meloetta fighting form for her mythical pokemon. It has unique singing abilities, and being strong but beautiful would fit Bianca perfectly.

Xavier surprisingly got a card. I didn't want to download a picture of him into my phone so he gets no picture.

He gets a shiny muk as his partner. Because he looks like throw up. Just like how I feel about Xaviers character.

He gets an Exeggutor because it's derpy in a stupid way🤣

Grafaiai because he's an artist.

Garbordor - because it's a pokemon made of trash.

Xavier does get a legend. But it's the worst one. He gets regice because it's a trash legend.🤣

Guys, what if: Pokemon AU with the Hunting Dogs (that matter) as the Elite 4

Jouno - Fairy Tecchou - Fighting Tachihara - Steel Teruko - Ghost

So, first off, they all have a team of 6 (may change a bit if I work this AU completely)

Jouno's team consists of a Gardevoir, Alolan Ninetales, Sylveon, Tinkatun, Primarina and (Shiny because just look at it) Hatterene

Tecchou has a Gallade, Blaziken, Kommo-o, Lucario, Urshifu and Bewear

Tachihara has a Magnezone, Corviknight, Kingambit, Scizor, Metagross and Aegislash

Teruko has Hisuian Zoroark, Houndstone, Drifblim, Flutter Mane, Marshadow and Froslass

Then there's also Pokemon they have that aren't part of their teams ofc, like

Jouno has a Mimikyu he keeps hidden in his basement because its disguise got torn and now it's violent to people approaching, but allows Jouno close because he can't see it.

Tecchou has a bunch of Durant that he takes care of after his Blaziken burned the trees that shielded their home, and since then he basically has a Durant farm (he loves bug pokemon, just doesn't battle with them)

Tachihara has a Togademaru, just as a pet, and its a cute little guy that just rolls around being adorable, and gets its spikes stuck on all kinds of things it shouldn't (Jouno keeps accidentally running into it, it annoys him so bad)

And Teruko probably has something too I still need to think about it (Sableye or Spiritomb, maybe. Or Sinistea, wow a lot of ghost types start with S)

Suegiku's Gallade and Gardevoir are actually Ralts they came across while out and about together, they were lost and weak, and thus they each nursed one back to health under the guise of a competition of whose would grow up to be stronger

Jouno's Tinkatun was a gift from Teruko, she just thought those were very silly and fun, and since Jouno is the Fairy type specialist she gave it to him as a gift one time on his birthday (because she had forgotten to get an actual gift and refused to admit that). He loved it

Outlast Characters Pokémon Team Headcanons - Chris Walker and Eddie Gluskin

Chris Walker

Going clockwise starting with Spoink.

Spoink - Little pig! Also, constantly on the move.

Golurk - This is golem made to protect people, that goes crazy when the seal is removed, I can't- Chris

Hariyama - Looks fat, made of muscle. Makuhita are hopeful and tenacious and put themselves through a lot of training.

Bastiodon - Docile pokemon that shield their young with their faces, literal bodies on the line.

Pangoro - Doesn't tolerate bullying, berserker pokemon, not a talker.

Bewear - Stufful being the adorable pokemon that it is, he definitely got one to be friends with spoink. A wonderful surprise to them both was him being able to withstand its strength. I'd half argue it evolved just to give him hugs back.

Eddie Gluskin

Going clockwise starting with Leavanny.

Leavanny - It makes clothes for little pokemon, just swaddling up babies, look at it~

Tarountla - A ball of thread, also just look at it. But seriously, the thread also being strong enough to deflect scyther is pretty awesome and spidops hanging from the ceiling reminds me of the gymnasium.

Bannette - An abandoned and forgotten toy brought to life for vengeance and feeding on jealousy.

Mimikyu - Baby is lonely and just wants friends and tries to get them with his poorly made costume! But will also fuck you up if you're the one that ruined the illusion.

Obstagoon - Okay, this is a call out to biker!Eddie AU, but zigzagoon is an item finder and linoone beelines for its prey, so Eddie hunting down his brides. Obstagoon is a brawler and intimidates you with his shout. (Filthy lying slut!)

Kangaskhan - This is a mother and its child, its entire life is around keeping the little one safe, come on! Also will just adopt human babies if need be.

WHAT ARE YOUR 6 FAVORITE POKÉMON !!!!!!

OOH OOH. THIS IS A HARD (AND FUN!) QUESTION BECAUSE I LOVE ALL OF THEM AND MY FAVOURITES CHANGE LIKE EVERY DAY ;^; IM GONNA PROBABLY GO ON AND ON ABOUT THEM SO WARNING.. I JUST LOVE POKEMON SO MUCH.

But my favourites right now are! (Under the read more because I babbled heaps)

Pikachu (always and forever - I loved Pokemon before I even went to school, I know that much. It could even be before preschool and as a kid I loved Pikachu so much. I'd imagine my plush Pikachu as like a friend to me and pretend it was real (as kids do) - so cheesy as it is, Pikachu forever is my number 1. For 20+ years <3)

Koraidon/Miraidon (is saying both for 2 allowed? :P) - THESE HAVE RECENTLY GONE UP SO HIGH ON MY FAVOURITE LIST.. I just adore these two with their cool designs, and their roles in the Scarlet/Violet with their personalities and lil animations. It makes me love them to bits. I can't pick one over the other, since they're exactly the same except for their designs, design wise I'd probably go for Koraidon because of the colours and how cool the wings are. But I can't say I like it overall over Miraidon, they're both the same to me.

Bewear - Ever since Pokemon Sun this bear has been a favourite. It's so goofy and cute yet also so scary and violent. It's such a hilarious idea I can't help but love it. My absolute favourite things about Bewear was the animation it'd have when hit by a move, it'd just cutely cover its face as if it was really nothing. Then they absolutely killed it in the anime with how they portrayed Bewear in its intro. (I haven't watched much else of the Sun & Moon anime sadly :( )

Slurpuff - Another pink Pokemon being on here for being funny, cute and silly. But it's also fun to use for battle. I used to like Swirlix more than Slurpuff design wise, but Slurpuff has won me over with how fun the concept of a cupcake cake dog thing is.

Sandshrew - Sandshrew and Sandslash have always been favourites from Gen 1 (adorable and cool designs - and that Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald Sprite for Sandshrew is adorable) but ever since I saw a twitter post where someone said that when they were a kid they thought Sandshrew's name was Paul- every single time I see a Sandshrew I think 'oh it's Paul :)', then my brother and sister also join in on it when they see Sandshrew and it has never stopped. Such a silly joke has made this little thing one of my favourites. Just seeing Sandshrew/Paul makes me feel a little happy inside.

Appletun - This one was so hard to decide, this list changes often but right now I've been more obsessed with Appletun. I think its design is fun and once again the goofy look its got won me over- then there's how tiny it is. I remember thinking I wasn't probably gonna have my Applin stay on my team on Shield until I saw it evolve into that. And I couldn't let the fella go. It was too perfect.

Raph would def have a stufful/bewear,cute lil thing that becomes an also cute but one of the most intimidating fighters. Its perfect.

Mikey would have a smeargle and mimikyuu cuz art buddies for life, makin lil costumes together (AND APPLETUN BECUZ THEY ARE THE CUTEST)

And i was thinking about an alolan raichu for leo cuz both surfer guy vibes and highly competitive( least from what i got from the anime) But some other possible ones would be greninja,ceruledge,galarian rapidash

Thena's jaw dropped--it dropped like a baby Skarmory plummeting from its nest for the first time. "G-Gil?!"

"Thena!" he choked out from within the grips of his captors. "Help!"

But he was in the middle of a nest of Bewear--physically, probably one of the strongest pokemon breeds in the world. The only reason he hadn't been crushed was because they were obviously fond of him.

Thena was already on her way over when she felt Gallade's hand(?) on her shoulder. She looked up at her battle partner, "but-"

"Gallade," it shook its head, expressing his need to protect her. Even with its fighting/psychic typing, it just wasn't wise to barge in on a pack of Bewear. And frankly, it knew that if it came between its trainer and Ranger Gil, it would be picking Thena.

"We can't just leave him like this," Thena waved her hands at Gil, being held rather tightly by one Bewear in particular, hugging and petting him like a stray it had found and taken in.

She had actually been called specifically because Gil hadn't reported after his last area check, and the ranger station had called her to investigate his last known location. They had every faith that she could take on the very friendly - but also very dangerous - breed of pokemon. And she had every faith in her ability to do so.

Although she had left Teddiursa at home with Ninetales, just in case.

"Gallade?" he leaned down to ask her what the plan was. They were still at enough of a distance that the adorable/terrifying pokmeon weren't considering them a threat...yet.

"I'm thinking you and Froslass," Thena whispered back, pulling up the other luxury ball attached to her belt. Her long shirt-dress billowed around her, unbuttoned over her white shorts underneath.

"Gal?" it asked, looking around at the sheer number of pokemon around them, even those not interested in keeping Gil like a pet.

"You're right, it's way too many," Thena agreed, letting Froslass out of her luxury ball as quietly as possible.

"Fross?" it tilted its head at her, not used to being confined to the pokeball, even outside of the house.

"I need you to start some snow for us," Thena whispered, pointing to the pack of Beware. "Boost your defense, give Gallade some cover for a sneak attack."

"Froslass," she nodded. The ghost/ice type was already fond of Gil (and had even met him under circumstances similar to these).

"We're only here to get Gil out safely," Thena instructed her pokemon before unleashing them. "We're not here to finish this fight. As soon as we can run, we're going to."

They nodded.

"Go!"

Gil looked around him, trying not to panic from within the arms of the Bewear. Thena was always telling him that if he kept wandering right up to wild pokemon he was going to get himself into trouble one day.

Powdered snow started falling in the immediate area. The Bewear all looked around them, most of them unfamiliar with the climate given their borderline tropical preference in forest territory.

Thena crept from tree to tree, watching as Gallade used its speed to get in close and hypnotise all the Bewear it could in as short a time as possible. She knew that he had assumed she would hang back and let them handle things, but she never said expressly that she would. She crept around the tree and whispered, "Gil!"

Gil's voice was muffled as the female Bewear hugged him closer.

"No, no, please!" Thena held out her hands, watching as Gil started to gasp for breath. "Just...gentle...with him."

"Bee?" the pink pokemon looked at Thena curiously. At the very least, it didn't seem to have a particularly aggressive nature.

"I'm his friend," Thena placed a hand on her chest, trying to offer some humility to the frighteningly strong pokemon in front of her. She crept closer as subtly as possible. "I'm here to take him home--please."

"Bewear," the pokemon pouted, cuddling Gil against its fur again. She was very determined that her claim on Gil was inarguable. After all, she was the one who had found him wandering around on his own. And he was awfully cute. "Be-Bewear."

"I know he's cute," Thena said before she could really stop to think about it. Her eyes caught Gil's for just a second before she looked at Bewear again, feeling warmth rush to her cheeks. "But he has to go back to the ranger centre."

"Bewear?" it turned to her, still holding Gil (but slowly and surely loosening her grip).

Gil gasped for breath as if he'd been underwater.

"Yes," Thena nodded, still trying to reach for him, "he's very important to me."

Bewear loosened its grip on Gil. It looked down at him, holding him out between its paws the way a child would examine a pokedoll. It looked at him, and then at Thena. "Be...wear?"

Thena groaned in the back of her throat. This was a serious--in many ways, it could escalate to a life or death situation. But to be humiliated by a wild pokemon; "yes, he's...mine."

The Strong Arm pokemon looked between them again before her ears drooped, accepting that she couldn't very well keep a pet that already belonged to someone else. "Bewear."

"Thank you," Thena brightened, accepting Gil with open arms as he stumbled against her. "It's very sweet of you to let him go."

"Wear," the pokemon waved her paw at them, telling them to leave before her bad mood got the better of her.

"Gil, can you walk?" Thena whispered, although Gil was swaying on his feet and looking a little light headed. Probably not, "Gallade?"

Her partner appeared, ever faithful and trusty. He didn't look particularly pleased, but he was there, "Gal?"

"I know, I know, I'm sorry," she apologised for the worry she knew she had caused him, "but please. Gil can't walk home like this."

"Gallade," he sighed, picking Gil up on his back and nudging Thena along.

"Froslass?" Thena called out, assured when her mischievous ghost appeared next to her, only for the blink of an eye. But it was enough, "let's get home."

"Thena?" Gil groaned from Gallade's back, head swimming and only further confused by finding a pack of Bewear asleep on the ground with snow falling around them. "What happened?"

Thena smiled up at him, patting his arm as they made their way back to clearer pastures. "Don't worry, we've got you. A young Bewear took a liking to you, but we got you out."

Gil sighed, "of course you did."

Thena kept an eye on him, settling against Gallade's back again (much to her partner's chagrin). "H-How much do you remember?"

"Mm," Gil hummed with his eyes still closed. "I lost it a little bit in the middle there. I remember you negotiating with Bewear like a pro. How'd you convince her to let me go?"

Thena, despite Gil's closed eyes, still looked around the other side of the path as she blushed, "just...told her it wasn't nice to keep people who already have a home."

"Hm," Gil nodded, only half absorbing what she was saying.

Gallade rolled his eyes. How much was one pokemon expected to endure of his own trainer flirting (not well, but flirting all the same).

Jolteon - Nancy deserves an Eeveelution and what better than Jolteon? 

Raichu - Raichu emanates older sibling energy and I think would work well with Nancy as well as Mike’s Pikachu

Kangaskhan - Both Nancy and Kangaskhan have mom friend energy, and both are very caring so they would fit together well I think 

Heliolisk - Rounding off Nancy’s team is a Heliolisk. She gives me Heliolisk vibes somehow, don’t ask why

Butterfree - I think Butterfree signifies how much Jonathan values having freedom. He’d have had this Butterfree since he was a kid and would be rather attached to it, especially after his dad made him shoot a rabbit when he was a little kid 

Scolipede - A lot of people would underestimate Jonathan as a pokemon trainer, so Scolipede is his strong, hard hitting team member. He will strategically use it to poison his oponents’ pokemon so that he would have more of an advantage against them 

Venomoth - Venomoth would act as Jonathan’s back up if his Scolipede is unable to poison the opposing team’s pokemon. Venomoth and Scolipede would probably tag team 

Leavanny - An unexpected one, but Leavanny would represent the side of him that dotes on Will like a parent would which is big Leavanny energy imo

Surskit - A bug and water type that would help cover the fire type weakness that Jonathan’s team has 

Crustle - Another pokemon to help cover the fire type weakness in Jonathan’s team, making him a tougher opponenet than people would give him credit for 

𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐨𝐧

Swampert - A strong and tough water/ground pokemon that he probably had since a kid that started off as a Mudkip that was given to him when he was about 10 y/o 

Camerupt - A fire type that covers his team’s grass type weakness. Steve is a chill guy, but his temper can be explosive when he’s pushed which is why Camerupt is on his team 

Garchomp - I couldn’t not give him a dragon type pokemon, okay? Garchomp is one of the coolest pokemon so it fits his personality 

Palossand - When Steve said he wanted to go on holiday with kids in a motor home parked up on a beach I really felt that. Palossand symbolises that dream of his 

Steelix - One of the icons of pokemon. Steve would absolutely have a Steelix and it would be his baby 

Quagsire - It looks kinda derpy and goofy, which would represent Steve’s dorky side of his personality 

𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞

Milotic - I know a Milotic seems out of character, but consider this: a Milotic that knows the move attract. He would absolutely use a pokemon that knows attract to weaken his opposing team 

Machamp - Billy definitely knows how to fight and would have a strong Machamp that he trains regularly to become the strongest pokemon in Hawkins 

Conkeldurr - This man is always lifting weights, and he’d have his trusty Conkeldurr by his side to help him keep count of each crunch and bench press

Medicham - A fighting/psychic type pokemon to help psych out his opponent and cover the psychic type weakness his team has 

Lucario - Billy has Lucario energy so a Lucario is what he will get. He raised his Lucario from a Riolu when he was a kid and it encouraged him to get stronger and fight back against both his dad and his bullies 

Bewear - A pokemon that seems harmless but would destroy you without hesitation. Sounds like Billy’s kind of pokemon to me! 

𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐮𝐜𝐤𝐥𝐞𝐲

Granbull - Robin screams dog person energy, and I think she would adore having a Granbull on her team. In fact, her whole team would be various dog pokemon so that she has a variety of types on her team to cover as many bases as possible 

Mightyena - This pokemon is extrememly loyal to and protective of Robin because she rescued it as a kid and has been raising it ever since. Mightyena would also provide security and reassurance for her when she thinks she’s being too much 

Zoroark - A mischievous pokemon would really fit with Robin’s personality, and Zoroark is the first pokemon I think of when I think of mschief 

Boltund - Full of energy and zest, I think Robin would absolutely have an energetic and speedy Boltund on her team that easily dodges attacks from other pokemon 

Lycanroc - Another loyal pokemon that Robin saved. Sometimes it doesn’t get on with Mightyena, but Robin is quick to distract both of them with treats and affection. They make very good training partners 

Stoutland - This one would be a sturdy and stubborn pokemon for Robin’s team. Makes a very good defence pokemon to buy Robin time to heal up her injured pokemon in battles

𝐀𝐫𝐠𝐲𝐥𝐞

Meganium - Argyle absolutely has a grass type team, and Meganium is his pride and joy. It just sits and chills with him while he gets high with Jonathan and keeps an eye on them both to makes rue they’re okay 

Sunflora - Just a happy little fella, like Argyle. He loves his Sunflora so much and it goes everywhere with him

Maractus - To symbolise him noticing the tracks in the desert while everyone else was bickering, I’ve given Argyle a Maractus. Like his other pokemon, Maractus is pretty chill 

Breloom - Breloom brings the fighting power to the team, although Argyle doesn’t really battle all that much as he doesn’t like fighting or getting his pokemon hurt

Amoonguss - It’s a mushroom, what more is there to say? 

Appletun - A lovely grass/dragon type that I think would suit Argyle very well. He has to be careful not to mistake it for an actual pie when he gets the munchies tho lmao 

𝐄𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐞 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐧

Noivern - Dragon type AND a music themed pokemon? Sign Eddie the fuck up. It hangs around on the roof of his trailer while he practices his guitar. Sometimes he’ll play the guitar to it to help it go to sleep 

Obstagoon - Obstagoon is metal as fuck and perfect for Eddie imo. Obstagoon would be the star of Eddie’s team 

Loudred - Loud and full of unhinged energy, just like Eddie. If it worked as an amp, he’d use it to amplify his guitar even louder than usual 

Dragapult - Usually Eddie would run from an unprovoked pokemon battle, but if he were feeling up to it then Dragapult and Obstagoon would be his go to pokemon to try and wrap the battle up quickly 

Flygon - If he needed to make a quick escape to a pokemon centre, Eddie would ride on the back of his Flygon so he can get there quicker and heal his pokemon ASAP 

Hydreigon - Another pokemon I think is metal as fuck. Eddie would adore having a Hydreigon on his team

Floyd is a goofball that when angry is lethal, like we have octo trainer MC and Mushroom trainer MC would it be funny if there is one more cousin that has a lethal sweetheat aesthetic? They are a harmless looking sweetheart most of the time but can be scary when angry and their team is the same: shuppet, Stufful (or Bewear), Pancham, espurr, Mimikyu and Phantump

We really need to buy more tables for the library study areas. I know we’re on a budget, but the competition to get the “good seats” is getting a little excessive.

One of the physics majors has trained her Bewear to provide “emergency nap support”. When she gets tired in the middle of studying but doesn’t want to give up her spot in the library, she lets the Bewear out of her pokeball, sits down in her lap, and goes to sleep.

The Bewear’s name is The Couch.

Not “Couch”, The Couch. If you leave the definitive article out of her name, The Couch will notice and get very angry with you for disrespecting her.

The Couch is extremely proud of her very important duty of protecting her tiny adorable human while she sleeps, and takes her job very seriously. She also has the most remarkably accurate sense of time I’ve ever seen in a pokemon- I’ve timed her on my phone, and she always wakes her trainer up after exactly fifteen minutes of naptime. 

This is, by the way, the same physics major who has the best test scores in the university despite being extremely stoned every time I see her. She already has a very promising internship lined up with the Mossdeep astrological research program.

I hope someday The Couch is honored for her contributions to the future of space travel.

Why’d you pick the Pokémon you did?

Meowscarada: I fell in (non-romantic) love with this cat the second they were revealed all the way back in February. I even stuck around as people feared about—and later wallowed in despair in—the kitty standing on their back paws and becoming bipedal. I personally love their evolution. As for their personality? That could work as an arc on becoming less… clingy? Attention-seeking?

Bewear: Loved playing with this one back in Pokémon Shield, and thus I was disappointed when learning they don’t appear in the Paldea Pokédex. (They’re the only one of the six here who doesn’t.) Of course, back when I first conceived this idea, Bewear was already a part, and so it makes sense to carry them over here. Also, big, loving person + small pet = adorable.

Florges: I caught a Flabebé early in my run and I just enjoyed using her. I haven’t been able to get her to evolve into a Florges yet. As for why I made her the grandmother’s Pokémon and not our lead’s? Apparently they have a long lifespan. So they’re also gonna have a grief arc.

Dachsbun: First Pokémon I caught (outside of Lechonk before releasing him) and is just a good pupper. They deserve the world, and I wanna write a dog and cat being friends.

Tsareena: Similar to Bewear, originating in G7 and loving them as the game went on, but they’re actually a part of the Paldean Pokédex. Tsareena (who wound up having a Psychic Tera Typing) ended up being part of my endgame team!

Gardevoir: This… This is an odd one. Caught them in Shield and caught one again in Scarlet. But I will say this: I see the appeal (not like that, you perverts!) in this Pokémon.

And half of these Pokémon are Fairy-Type, because it’s me lol
