Back at drawing this last two-part episode of Degrassi season 2. Only draw the characters and wrote the dialogue in page 3 only. This scene brings back the excuse of “My dog ate my homework” and changed it into “My little sister threw orange juice on it”.

criminal case oneshot voting

hey guys, so if you know me on wattpad or ao3, you would know that i have a criminal case oneshot book!

and i will be doing polls to decide which oneshot i will write next, i am still taking requests, but i also have my own ideas, so here are the ideas i have, they fully won't fit on the polls and so you have a clear idea on what the oneshot will be about

idea 1: where jasper was kidnapped by dreamlife and experimented on, but survived along with zoe, he was found with her and is protective of his friend, but unlike zoe, who doesn't remember jones, the only person jasper remembers is amir and how they were dating before he went missing, jasper powers due to the experiments is ice, because his last name is everett, which is similar to mount everest, get it? let's move onto the next idea.

idea 2: where rupert doesn't actually die but he is knocked out outside due to falling down and hitting his head, his killer thinks he's dead and leaves him there where the MC and jones finds him.

idea 3: where russell and amy are genderbend, they were dating for a while but kept it a secret, it was discovered when jupiter arrived and said that his daughter was pregnant, saying he could sense his grandchild, which lead to a lot of shock and drama, especially from ruby(genderbend russell)since her dad knew and went to her work place, but shocked since she didn't know she was pregnant at all, also anthony(genderbend amy)faints from shock and happiness.

idea 4: where king doesn't kill adam, but adam gets the upper hand and shoots king, which leads to chaos and adam getting arrest, but king is worried since he was supposed to assassinate adam and failed to do it.

idea 5: orlando is sad about seeing his dead husband alive again and wants to vent to someone, so he goes to amy, only to learn something shocking about her.

idea 6: my version of the reason why grace broke off her engagement with her fiance, luke harris.

idea 7: where angela didn't place a bomb in the plane, but rather, she wanted to ask lars for his forgiveness after realizing what she had done and why everything went wrong the moment she was arrested for murdering lavinia.

For a school assignment, I'm assembling an anthology around the theme of queer divinity and desire, but I'm having a hard time finding a fitting essay/article (no access to real academic catalogues :/ ), do you know of any essays around this theme?

The Parish has a new Pastor! Jeremiah Shearer just moved into town with his family of 8– his wife and six children, with three boys and three girls, just like us! Of course we went immediately to welcome them to the neighborhood.

His wife Marilyn is so classy and wise– I foresee becoming good friends with her, just as I did with Angela.

Their eldest son is named Ezekiel, but goes by Zeke. He’s in the same grade as Iris and Isla and will be attending the co-op along with the rest of his siblings.

Their next eldest is a girl named Chastity, who is the same age as Adam and Penny. True to her name, she holds herself to even higher modesty standards than her father requires, and is so meek and sweet!

They also have a set of identical triplets– two girls and a boy, named Melody, Melonie, and Marcus!

Finally, their youngest is a boy named Jonah, who immediately hit it off with James.

While we were there, Chastity was displaying her meekness and heart for children by cleaning up after her younger siblings. And I wasn’t the only one who noticed– I saw Adam looking at her with a considering expression. It’s too soon to say anything for sure, of course, but they could be a good match if that is the Watcher’s plan.

The next day, Zeke and Marilyn came over to return our visit. While us moms chatted on the porch, Isla and Zeke built a snow pal together. Could be another budding match in the works! The Watcher will decide, of course, but I think Zeke could be a good match for Isla. He plans on becoming the Pastor of the Parish after his father, and no life would suit Isla better than being a preacher’s wife!

Isla: Penny, what are you doing?

Penny: Hold on, I’ve almost got it. Some of the wires were fried. There! Try it now. 

Isla: Wow, you fixed it! Thank you, Penny! I thought I was going to have to wait for Dad to fix it tomorrow.

Penny: No problem. Um, by the way, do you think that…. Uh, I mean, what do you think about me fixing it? Mom would probably tell me it wasn’t womanly or whatever. 

Isla: Shrugging I don’t think so. The Watcher made you smart and handy for a reason. I don’t think there’s any reason to ignore the gifts the Watcher gave you.

Penny: Thanks, Isla. That actually helps a lot.

craig manning, was recently diagnosed (pre-story) with bipolar I, but managing through therapy, to undo damage caused by generational trauma, a big trigger. only child of well-known community surgeon at one time, albert manning (deceased) and julia manning (jeremiah), (step)-son to joey jeremiah, half brother to angela jeremiah, a daughter julia had with joey after she divorced albert.

in this story, craig is overworked, subbing at night and worked many jobs to help their daughter katrina with his domestic partner, manny. he's basically a trying father to a teenage daughter, who frequently argues with him, but he easily gives in total daddy's girl he's trying to be tougher but it isn't working for anyone. the kicker is: that she isn't much older than he was when she was born. he doesn't want her to end up struggling like them. he shields her from his past too, manny too so she knows little of their lives before her birth as a result.

in his early years, albert had been continuously abusive toward craig, but his mother bore the brunt of it. she knew he'd get full custody if she were to leave, but left him behind because she couldn't take her where she was going. she didn't work while craig was younger, before she left, and couldn't afford much so when she ran off, she met joey got a brand new car, and sold some expensive jewelry to get a new sensible reliable car for herself to get away from albert in the prior weeks, ahead of time so there were zero, no, room for error. if he woke up she feared what he'd say and do. julia sadly passed from cancer around, she was in her mid-30s and angela barely remembers her but knows she was her mother. craig tries to keep her memory alive. joey sacrificed a lot as well as craig and manny, they're very close and talk often about things and joey gives him and manny sage wisdom, love in laughter in their modest abode. craig works multiple jobs, like manny his girlfriend, they currently work in theatre, craig does subbing working to get a position as a music instructor. he teaches guitar and piano, song writing at the community college. manny and him had been together since they were teenagers and together created a home that they feel safe and happy. craig is fearsome of commitment but knows manny deserves to be proposed to properly, woo'ed even, so that's where his head is at. he's trying to make it official. he wants her to see how much he means to her, and that all their sacrifices and times of strife were in the long run worth it. ✨
