The nazis that you see in movies are as much a historical fantasy as vikings with horned helmets and samurai cutting people in half.
The nazis were not some vague evil that wanted to hurt people for the sake of hurting them. They had specific goals which furthered a far right agenda, and they wanted to do harm to very specific groups, (largely slavs, jews, Romani, queer people, communists/leftists, and disabled people.)
The nazis didn't use soldiers in creepy gas masks as their main imagery that they sold to the german people, they used blond haired blue eyed families. Nor did they stand up on podiums saying that would wage an endless and brutal war, they gave speeches about protecting white Christian society from degenerates just like how conservatives do today.
Nazis weren't atheists or pagans. They were deeply Christian and Christianity was part of their ideology just like it is for modern conservatives. They spoke at lengths about defending their Christian nation from godless leftism. The ones who hated the catholic church hated it for protestant reasons. Nazi occultism was fringe within the party and never expected to become mainstream, and those occultists were still Christian, none of them ever claimed to be Satanists or Asatru.
Nazis were also not queer or disabled. They killed those groups, before they had a chance to kill almost anyone else actually. Despite the amount of disabled nazis or queer/queer coded nazis you'll see in movies and on TV, in reality they were very cishet and very able bodied. There was one high ranking nazi early on who was gay and the other nazis killed him for that. Saying the nazis were gay or disabled makes about as much sense as saying they were Jewish.
The nazis weren't mentally ill. As previously mentioned they hated disabled people, and this unquestionably included anyone neurodivergent. When the surviving nazi war criminals were given psychological tests after the war, they were shown to be some of the most neurotypical people out there.
The nazis weren't socialists. Full stop. They hated socialists. They got elected on hating socialists. They killed socialists. Hating all forms of lefitsm was a big part of their ideology, and especially a big part of how they sold themselves.
The nazis were not the supervillians you see on screen, not because they didn't do horrible things in real life, they most certainly did, but because they weren't that vague apolitical evil that exists for white American action heros to fight. They did horrible things because they had a right wing authoritarian political ideology, an ideology that is fundamentally the same as what most of the modern right wing believes.

Basic Theology of Christianity.
Lots of people on this app seemingly distort Jesus Christ without knowing it, and criticize his deity while also not researching about it. So let me teach you some basic theology, so you won’t be that gullible to lies anymore.
Hypostatic Union.
The Hypostatic Union is a theological technical term within Christianity that states the fact Christ is fully human, and fully divine. This is a dyophysitic ideology finalized in the Council of Chalcedon in 451 AD.
Trinity/ The Triune God
The Trinity is an explanation for God being 3 persons, yet the same essence. The Son and The Holy spirit precede from the Father. Yet they are all still the same
ANALOGY: You have a soul, human force/spirit and body. It all precedes from your soul, as the most important entity. Yet you are not 3 different individuals. Let’s say you’re doing 100 pushups at the gym, and your body tells you to give up on 90. Yet you’re human spirit pushes you to 100. You’re not divided into three different secular humans, yet it proves you have a working relationship within yourself.
Gnosticism / Gnostic Gospels
The Gnostic Gospels are heretical gospels that belong to the early Gnostic groups of the 2nd century. These texts usually are not trustworthy, and regularly distort the image of Christ. I’ve seen many people take these word for word even though it doesn’t align with the teachings of the Lord and can further mislead you. You should be trusting the Synoptic Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John) that are actual eyewitness historical accounts instead of heretical organizations of people who do not know what they’re talking about.
Anyways, always do your own digging! May the Lord bless you all. You can ask me a question in my inbox if it’s related to Christianity, theology, or anything you would like to know.

how could any christian call themselves loving when they worship a deity that would send me to hell for the simple sin on non-belief? for logical thinking or skepticism? for behaving in the way that they believe their god made me to be? if god is real, he is cruel.

I was blown away by this post and need to talk about it, or I will never sleep lol. I wish I could show you our entire conversation but the OP deleted all my comments so I couldn't screenshot anything.

"Nazis weren’t atheists or pagans. They were deeply Christian and Christianity was part of their ideology just like it is for modern conservatives. They spoke at lengths about defending their Christian nation from godless leftism. The ones who hated the catholic church hated it for protestant reasons."
The nazis, including Hitler, were absolutely not supporters of Christianity, you don't even need to be a Christian to see why this is so problematic. The main idea of Christianity is that Jesus is the Messiah, the one and only Son who loved the world so much he sacrificed his life to pay the debt of our sins.
Jesus isn't just not Aryan, or not white. He is a Jew. Christians literally worship him, seeing him as both fully human and fully divine.
Hitler taught that Jews were inferior, the scum of the Earth, deserving of inhumane treatment and death. Why would he support a religion that worships a Jewish man as the Messiah?
Furthermore, the gospel teaches that ALL people, regardless of sex, race, ethnicity, etc. We're made equal in the eyes of God, and that we all came from the same two people.
Hitler taught that the Aryans were the superior race, and preached the inferiority of anyone else. Why would he support a religion that so blatantly contradicts his teachings?
But wait- if Hitler and the Nazis were against Christianity, why did they employ Christian rhetoric in speeches? Why did they negotiate a treaty with the Vatican?
If you are a psychopath vying for support and leadership in an overwhelmingly Christian nation, are you really going to talk about how useless you see Christianity, or how it is a threat to your rule? Of course not. Hitler was a demagogue. He wanted to appeal to the common 1930s German citizen, which meant he would need to appeal to Christians.
It wasn't until he had secured power that he could finally show his true colors, breaking his promise to the Vatican to not interfere with the rights of the church. Among the many groups persecuted in the holocaust were Christians, especially Roman Catholics. Clergy in Germany and other territories were closely supervised to make sure they didn't contradict the Nazi teachings, Catholic organizations were shut down, and many prominent Christians were sent to camps for forced labor and execution.
I pointed out some of these the the OP, to which they responded
Tumblr media
How stating that the Nazis weren't supporters of Christians and that Christianity cannot coexist with Nazism makes me a holocaust denier, I don't know. I'm not the one denying that a certain group was persecuted by the Nazis (the OP stated in a comment of theirs that the Christians put into camps were only attacked for their ethnicity, not their religion) and trying to make it look like the Nazis actually loved and cared about that group.
I also don't understand how Christianity is inherently antisemitic. I asked the OP what about it was antisemitic, so after deleting all my comments, they blocked me. If you have the answer, let me know, I am genuinely curious.
It makes me sad to see that people actually believe this kind of propaganda. Also, if you're going to make a post about the evils of Nazism, you probably shouldn't use misinformation to villianize and scapegoat a group, or censor people who speak out against said misinformation. Just saying.

I grew up very non-religious, like just absolutely no connection to religion in my household whatsoever. Which I often forget isn't totally the norm, and all my friends have varying levels of traumatic religious backgrounds.
anyway I just got roasted in a discord server for calling those number things "bible times"
Apparently they're chapters.

There was a preacher who died, and became one of the few humans to go to the heaven of his god Christ after his death. He was greeting by a golden city, filled with strange angels with firey wings and shining eyes. The sky was above him and below him, and it was black and it was bright.
When he stepped into the gates of this heaven, the golden city was massive, yet almost empty, few walked it's streets. It had been made big enough for every human to live to walk through it, yet it had been open to so very few, most of the buildings were empty, the streets always wider than they needed to be, and lights rarely on. Even most of the angels had fallen away.
A lone angel guided the preacher through the city, and the first thing the preacher asked was, "I would like to see my daughter here. She had died before me, she would be waiting here for me I'm sure."
The angel replied in a glassy and I human voice, "No. She is elsewhere. She was a homosexual. You had preached many times that her kind would not be accepted here when you lived on earth. I recall you had said such words exactly to her. You should not have been suprised to be correct." The angel did not understand when the preacher wept.
The preacher than asked the angel, "Still then, perhaps I may see my father. I always wished to see him again here."
The angel replied, "He is here neither. I question why you wonder this? He was an adulterer, for that you cursed him well, and gave him your anger. Why do you want him here now for what you cursed him for on earth?"
The preacher wept again, but than asked, "Than may I at least see my brother? He has committed no act of grave sin has he?"
The angel replied, "Your brother was an atheist. Did your books not so clearly say that he who rejects the lord may not be let to his kingdom? You had preached such words on earth, and said such words to him? Why have you changed so much in death."
The preacher wept again and replied, "Than I am alone here. So may I at least see Christ so that I may than have someone?"
The angel walked him up a castle with a thousand steps, past great cannons and ballistas that were used to fight non christian spirits. Past the endless hallways and the rivers of wine that was blood and blood that was wine. And Christ sat on his golden throne, with his crown still of thorns, and his eyes still black, and wrists and ankles still bleeding endlessly into the night.
And the preacher begged Christ, "Please. Send me away. Send me to whatever hell you have dammed the others. I cannot be here if I am alone."

Indeed, Allah created everything, by a perfect measure (54:49)
Anything that is created by a measurement produces the product with perfection, whether it is its shape, size, appearance, lifespan or quality. Whenever humans produce something, it is certified for its perfection in the name of guarantee and warrantee. The product is also sent to R & D center for finding faults in it, so that any discrepancies in it could be removed.
In fact, Allah created everything, in truth, with perfect measure, in flawless shapes, with a time-span, with a purpose and their destiny.
So Allah declares, “He has perfected everything what He has created” (27:88, 32:7 etc) and then He CLAIMS, “Did they never observe the sky above them and understand how We built it and beautified it; without any flaws” (50:6).
Flawlessness in prefect measure. Really, Let’s check:

And I am not able to produce more, Allah's creation is infinite. Allah says, “To Allah belongs whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth. Verily, Allah, He is Al-Ghani (Free of all needs), Worthy of all praise" [31:26]

Allah says, "If all the trees on earth were pens and the ocean were ink, refilled by seven other oceans, the Words of Allah would not be exhausted". [31:27]

Here I look into existence of Allah, in His creation of insect, fluid and hexagon. Quran says, "Surely Allah is Almighty, All-Wise. O people! Your creation and your resurrection for accountability on the Day of Judgement, is as easy as creating and resurrecting just one soul”. [31:28]

Questions for pagans/polythiests (and any other non-christians)
I was raised Christian and live in a very conservative Christian area within America, but I was talking with one of my friends who is Sikh and this came up.
As a southern American, we have a lot of exclamation phrases that are centered around Christian theology (i.e. "Oh my god!", "Jesus Christ!", "Jesus Mary and Joseph!") But I haven't really heard of other cultures having something similar. I know it could very easily be the fact that I'm predominantly around Christians, but I'm curious.
As always, please be respectful of cultures and practices you know nothing about, any hate will be deleted.
