Wind-whistling

Weather Witchcraft is my specialty! I am a Storm Adder, a Pheryllt Druid who specializes in Weatherworking. This is just a sample of what I teach. Wind-whistling is quite literally causing the wind to blow or stop blowing by whistling. It has been used to cause a gust as well as to summon storms. The wind was already blowing so all I was really doing with this was directing a gust of wind right where I was focusing. Atmokinesis Demonstration

Atmokinesis: psionic weather engineering! This is just a clip from a 14 minute atmokinesis demonstration I did.

What is Atmokinesis?

Atmokinesis is the psionic ability to manipulate the energies behind the weather, successfully forming & influencing meteorological fluctuations at will. With this ability you could create any kind of weather you wished! From snowstorms to thunderstorms to tornadoes/hurricanes to simple things such as fog, wind, & temperature changes. AtmoK Psions also have power over the sub-abilities such as AeroK, HydroK, GeoK, ElectroK, ThermoK, etc. An AtmoK Psion's energy behaves naturally like electricity so we tend to manipulate the "atmosphere" of a place, and often influence electronics or lights without meaning to.

So Hazel’s power is Atmokinesis, controlling the weather/atmosphere

So the weather counts, so does the emotional atmosphere and magical atmospheres

She has access to weather control at all times

She really only has access to the emotional atmosphere ability when in the Library, where she is the absolute magical authority.

Speaking of, her mere presence in the Library nullifies most magical outputs. Otherwise the Library would be destroyed most of the time from people getting into fights.

This notably excludes the Dreamtale twins in whatever form they take

Also, her powers fail when there is no atmosphere, such as in Outertale

Her health is affected by those in her atmosphere. If someone is smoking around her a lot, she will get very sick. So there’s a “No Smoking” rule in place.

She changes slightly to fit with the atmosphere of those around her. Truly, she is a nebulous being. Her sense of identity is tied to nothing, so she is constantly trying to find herself.

Superhero au where Max is an out of control eighteen year old with weather powers, he loses his shit or something and destroys stuff. Naturally, the superhero force gets called. Enter Daniel who is asked to come to the Netherlands all the way from Texas to use his power to calm and uncontrollable teen. They click instantly with Max being calmed by Daniel's emotion manipulation power.

Fast forward three years, Max has decided to join the hero force and is buddies with Daniel bcs weather and emotion are hard to keep in check okay? They are sort of together, sort of not. Max is way more successful in superheroing than Daniel.

Daniel who believes the only reason Max is 'dating' him is bcs of his calming power. Max who is thinking, you were the one who gave me a chance and didn't immediately dismiss me as a kid who needed to be put down, I need you in my life and afterlife so so much.

Until... a mission where Daniel's powers get stolen, he goes on hiatus for a while, isolates himself from Max bcs he's lost the only thing Max wanted from him. Max who walks around like a kicked puppy everyday (bcs dan hates me for not protecting him from losing his powers :[ I failed ), tirelessly working on the power thief's case to try to get dan's powers back.

Until a new rookie joins his case on the power stealer and he's Australian with a broad back and scattered freckles on his face and he calls slippers 'tongs' but the only thing is that his name is Oscar. Max starts getting annoyed bcs how dare he not be Daniel. Then one day he loses his shit at the rookie (Oscar forgot to list Daniel as one of the power thief's victims in a PowerPoint) but suddenly he feels the calming effect and it's Daniel who is hugging him from behind and protecting him from the eyes of his judgemental coworkers. And although Daniel doesn't have his powers it's the same feeling of comfort and warmth and love and care and Max can finally stop feeling like he wants to claw his heart out of his chest. Daniel finally realises that Max doesn't love him for his power and they kiss and fuck then Daniel helps with the case and they get his powers back and they live happily ever after.

I also got Atmokinesis on a second try after I wanted to retry bc I was on the fence about some answers, but overall I agree with this one.
