Your artworks looks like AI

To be honest I'm guessing this is a bot because I don't think my art is really a style that is mistakeable as AI. BUT just in case this is someone who genuinely doesn't know how to differentiate AI art versus human art, I'm gonna make a post on it rq!

One of the ways you can tell my art is not AI is because you can see all the individual strokes that I made. My style in particular makes this easier to distinguish than others because as an artist I really embrace this, while others prefer a very clean lineart and coloring process.

Here are some examples from mine:

This is from one I made of Nico underwater. If you look at the water you can see all the places I drew each line. By contrast, zooming in on AI art doesn't show any brush strokes at all. Often, there's also a weird "fuzz" I've noticed? Like rather than a human artist who simply makes a, say, yellow banana, and if you zoom in you just see yellow, for an AI if you zoom in it weirdly looks like the AI is struggling to make every pixel yellow so each pixel is slightly different. That's what I think of as the art being slightly fuzzy.

I tried searching google for some AI art to use as examples of this but I'm currently in a different country for an internship and they're still getting my WiFi set up, so my connection isn't loading any of the Google images with enough clarity to be able to zoom in a bunch so I can show you. But it's something I've noticed for a lottt of AI art--and so this coupled with lack of brush strokes can be a sign of AI.

Another thing that, in my opinion, is a way to determine something is human-made is the shape of the canvas! In my experience, when I see AI art online, it tends to be a very similar canvas shape each time. I don't think most AI creations have the ability to be creative with canvas shape. Meanwhile, a human might choose to make their canvas super wide or long or whatever. Since I created each piece of my art individually for the purpose of eventually combining it all into a comic-ish thing, each canvas I made was very very wide which would have been unusual for an AI. Such as:

From what I've seen, an AI would have created somewhat more even dimensions.

And finally, one of the dead giveaways for AI versus human art is simply what mistakes are made in the piece. Neither AI art nor human art is usually absolutely perfect, but the mistakes that an AI makes are not usually the same ones that a human makes! For example here, I didn't actually make lineart or sketches for the background because I had figured "eh, how hard is it to make a background like this?" However you can tell this didn't work out perfectly for me because my "sun" did not end up perfectly round hahaha. Look above Nico's head. It's like sort of lopsided. Getting a perfect circle without any sort of lineart or tool is very hard as an artist, at least for me! However an AI would not struggle with making a perfect circle. It would have been much cleaner. However, an AI would have probably struggled more with things like color and style consistency in the wings (there are a lot of feathers that could trip it up), body proportions, etc etc.

And, overall, these three things together are very consistent with everything I post. AI would struggle to recreate a style like this over and over again, and it also tends to struggle to make the same face over and over. I'm not sure if you've ever seen one of those videos where people ask AI to duplicate an image without making any changes, but it really cannot do it. For this reason it would have been difficult for an AI to make the same face so many different times for a consistent comic.

I realize this ask was most likely a bot tbh since I think my art is pretty obviously human, but as a hater of AI art, I will never turn down an opportunity to talk about ways to differentiate human versus AI art. I hope this was helpful to anyone who struggles with identifying things like this!

How do you imagine Sam and Dean would have first sex? When do you think it is most likely to happen?

i’m going to add onto what i wrote in this post with them starting in s3 and then i’ll go through how it would build up across the following seasons

i think it makes more sense for their sexual relationship to start in s3 instead of the later seasons, if you wanted to try to fit it into canon (this is probably a snoozefest for others but it’s how i like to play with spn). realistically the show making the decision/receiving network permission to introduce it after so long is highly unlikely and would alienate a vast majority of their audience. so let's just pretend that it was planned from the show’s very beginning and the actors knew what they signed up for

s3: same as what i already wrote, but this post by @28confusedthoughts reminded me of dream a little dream of me, i had forgotten that was in s3. my version is that while they’re separated inside dean’s mindscape sam sees some sort of manifestation (either a dream!dean or a dream!sam&dean) that reveals dean’s hidden feelings. i’d have dean know that sam found out but sam doesn’t know that dean knows he did. dean’s convinced himself that now that sam has finally realized exactly how twisted dean is he’ll never want anything to do with him ever again (we already know this will never happen)

dean is on edge waiting for the fallout but sam does a good job at pretending like everything is normal. he had his initial shock/revoltion but sam understands that the role john thrust upon dean and the nature of their upbringing would explain why he developed these feelings (it certainly explains a lot of his past behavior), and that it’s not dean’s fault. what sam saw is ingrained into his mind and it makes him sick, but he decides not to do anything about it because although he always tries to get dean to talk about his feelings, this time it’s just too much for sam. and dean doesn’t have a lot of time left so why put them both through it. then mystery spot is next where sam is trapped in his grief, his only purpose being to avenge dean, to do whatever it takes. after sam gets dean back and he's still bound for hell, that's when sam starts to consider what his other “whatever it takes” for dean would entail

but it isn’t until the night before no rest for the wicked when dean has just over 30 hours left and is starting to hallucinate that sam goes off on his own and prays (out-loud so the audience can get some sam introspection). sam has loved and idolized dean as long as he can remember, and he feels like he owes dean whatever he can give for always taking care of him (he doesn’t, but sam believes it). however, his struggle with his purity is at odds with this. sam asks god for some sort of sign to tell him what to do (nothing happens), then he decides that it’s worth it because dean is more important than anything to him. sam doesn’t tell dean any of this when he comes back and confesses that he knows how dean feels about him because sam doesn’t want to make dean feel like he’s taking advantage of him (any more than he already does). so sam initiates and after repeatedly reassuring dean that he wants to do this, dean takes it from there and sam lets him worship him

Shouma Ginzaki, I have so many thoughts on this little guy. That I wish to ramble about him for a bit. Mostly about things that I find interesting such as his character design but also my thoughts on him so far.

For context I am going off from just the demo alone, so I don’t have the full picture of what he will be like in the full game.

First off, the red marking on the characters foreheads seem to have some inspiration in both a red dot called a bindi and traditional Japanese kabuki theatre make up. A bindi has ties to Buddhism and is linked to the Ajna Chakra which is also known as the "third eye" or "inner wisdom". And if you’re an anime fan you might have seen at very least one character with a red dot in their character design. So there might be some pop culture aspects to the inspiration as well. Which is why some of the characters have such dot markings in their battle ready designs.

Another thing worth noting is that the colour red in Japanese culture is a pretty prominent and versatile colour with multiple layers of symbolism. Such as being associated with protection, joy, and strength, but also with passion, power, and even danger etc.

Finally, with Shouma and Mako they both have two dots markings above their forehead. It kinda look similar to geisha dot eyebrows or Hikimayu (引眉). It’s probably just a coincidence but I thought it was worth noting.

Shouma number is nine but interestingly enough it is written in upper capital Chinese Hanzi instead of Japanese Kanji. which is probably on purpose because in Japan the number nine is considered an unlucky number because the pronunciation (苦) (ku) is similar to (苦) (suffering). The association with hardship, pain and ties to bad luck/misfortune overall contributes to the negative reputation behind this number. Similar to how the number 4 similarly avoided in Japanese culture.

While in Chinese the number nine has the opposite reputation with it being associated with good luck/good fortune and can also mean long lasting and represents the maximum level of martial happiness and longevity. I just think that is a nice subtle detail in his uniform and weapon design overall with his number being nine and all. 

This probably means nothing but nine or more correctly eight phases of the moon can spiritually is often associated with cycles of growth, release, and renewal. Also the number Nine is symbolically represented by change and having a very empathic and compassionate soul. In numerology the number nine is usually linked to things such as completion, idealism, and a strong desire to help others. Which mostly fits Shouma personality in terms of his ideals and morals.

Also his star/zodiac sign Pisces is often associated with compassion, empathy, creativity, imagination and strong intuition but also a deep connection to the sub conscious. But also the weaknesses of the sign is being indecisive, sensitive, prone to escapism and their own inner turmoil. And melancholy behaviours feelings of sorrow and poignance; where they would rather go through and meditate on deep emotions such as despair/sadness rather than have no feelings at all.

Overall, the zodiac sign Pisces is very emotional driven sign and I don’t think it is a coincidence that Shouma as a character is written to be very driven by his strong emotional feelings and thoughts.

Anyway, this line of dialogue stuck out to me while playing the game demo. There seems to be a bit of a moon theme going on here? Or at the very least I think that the moon might be an important plot beat for this game story.

Which also lead to me noticing Shouma’s mecha also has some moon imagery on its design via the shoulders pads. Another interesting thing is that the chest of the mecha is designed with a Shiba Inu face notable a black one.

Shouma’s dog is probably not a literal black shiba ha ha. Although, his weapon having the chest be of the head of a black dog reminded me a bit of the Chinese mythology of the black dog called Tiangou/the heavenly dog. Which in the myth Tiangou either eats the moon or sun causing an eclipse but the moon is more notable one. Which could have inspired some design aspects to Shouma weapon perhaps.

Real quick, I will say that I haven’t looked too deeply or check to see if other characters have a subtle moon theme to their designs. Also, if you look closely on images of the other characters weapons they also have an although I will say a more subtle animal theme going on in their weapon designs as well.

Now onto his character design. First off, his backpack resembles a Kame/turtle shell get it because he’s hiding in his shell and need to slowly come out of it. Man, you gotta love the creativity Rui Komatsuzaki puts into his character designs overall.

Shouma’s boots also have a bit of a turtle-like pattern and with them being green, it looks like he has little turtle feet. His boots also partly resemble wellies, which are commonly associated with children at least in fiction giving him a childlike feel to his design. Plus they’re also outdoor boots and are usually quite popular with dog walkers as well.

Finally, his cap in terms of shape resembles either a frog, bear or hamster which adds even more to the animal theme to his overall character design.

I’m honestly curious with how Shouma’s dog, which is most likely a Shiba Inu and Sirei are connected somehow and it’s also interesting how he’s the only one that didn’t technically fight. Like there has to be a reason for it right? I also think Shouma is more important than he gives himself credit for, although I may wrong who knows. 

I don’t know if others have noticed this but Shouma to me seems to be a very peacemaker type of character. He doesn’t like conflict and always puts others comfort and needs first before himself a far good amount of the time. Plus, the way he talks about his dog in optional dialogue. Makes him appear to have a selfless and kind hearted soul underneath all the self esteem/self deprecation issues of course. 

I also think Shouma appears to be pretty good at reading the room and how others might be feeling. On the rare occasion he chimes in, he has some pretty possible ideas and theories on what might be happening in the current situation. But given how many times he’s gets shot down or told he’s stupid for thinking or saying anything at all.

Which probably breaks his confidence to where he feels he shouldn’t have said anything at all. Which is why he’s just accepts it and doesn’t push against it. Because he truly believes he can never be right on something but also insists on being a peacemaker making him unable to truly take on conflict.

Overall, from what I’ve seen so far, Shouma seems to be a very gentle soul. Who is way too harsh on himself but I do have faith that he will develop as a person as the story progresses. It probably won’t be perfect and I don’t expect his self esteem problems to just magically go away, that takes time. Honestly, Shouma so far is very relatable to me as someone who has gone through similar hardships as a teen.

Shouma has so much potential to be such a lovely and compelling written character overall and I look forward to see what the writers have in store for him in the full game. (He’s so autistic coded to me but that could just be me projecting a little onto him ha ha…)

Lastly, gameplay wise Shouma has the potential to be pretty op as a unit depending on how his abilities and moveset functions in the gameplay mechanics. 

He is a counter defender and his ability shut-in gives 1+ attack with every emery that hits him. Which could have potential to be stacked if his ability can get even stronger. Reflecting back attacks is his key, so Shouma ideally will probably excel being throw at enemies head first and focus on crowd control. 

Shouma will probably work best with the more frail units. Leading the enemies onto him while doing chip damage and letting heavy hitting units dish out the big hits. He’s also will probably have good synergy with the healer/support units as well but overall. I think he will probably be one of the better units in the game due to his ability to do crowd control in a game, where crowd control is key. Also depending upon on how his ability works he could also be quite a decent boss slayer as well.

General headcanons:

First of all, how'd you land a date with this guy?! You're either really lucky or really valuable if you get him to agree to an actual date. ...Or it's blackmail on your part.

Mozenrath's interactions are built entirely off of getting something from someone. If you're dating him, you must want something from him, whether it be sex, arm-candy, riches, to steal his collection of magical artifacts… he can't comprehend why else you'd choose to physically stay around him. He figures that once you get what you want, then you'll leave, just as he hopes to leave once he gets what he wants.

When Mozenrath feels that things are going according to his plan, he keeps his signature smirk on and keeps himself very close to you. You've fallen into his trap! His trap of getting you to have feelings for him! Now he just needs to play his cards right…

He prefers to stick to areas that he knows very well. No one around to interfere, nowhere for someone to ambush him… No one to distract you from him…

Expect the date to feature meals made by him or his mamluks (good luck) or the opportunity to look out on the… scenery (literally just black sand).

He gets physically close to you no matter what. You've seen how close he gets to his enemies! There's, like, 12” between his face and yours 90% of the time. It's his way of showing dominance over his enemies, but it ended up being a habit for people he genuinely likes too.

Mozenrath gets very handsy right away. Not in a sensual way or anything, but just about anywhere around your body that isn't sensual is fair game to him. He'll feel at your face, your head, your shoulders and arms, hips… Legs are less common, but don't put it past him. Touching is another way that he shows dominance over something, so it makes him feel in control.

He's quicker to grab your wrist than he is your hand. Once he feels more of a connection towards you, he'll start grabbing at your hand.

Kissing is something that he expects, but doesn't necessarily look forward to unless he has genuine feelings towards you. At that point, he may even surprise you with it by pressing his lips to yours without waiting for you to act first. He'll kiss without asking on the first date, but as he grows more comfortable with you and starts respecting you as a person, then he'll start asking if he could kiss you. …Or maybe (gasp) if you could kiss him?!??!

If he's trying to impress you, he'll give you some valuable items as gifts. He may start out with things that only look costly so that he can give the actually valuable stuff to people of status to impress them. You'll graduate to receiving nice things over time, but that's not what actually shows his affection. The ultimate goal is to start receiving items that were made or purchased for you personally.

Mozenrath may not care for people much, but he is very good at figuring out what's important to you. Most of the time. He's still bitter about his partnership with Khartoum…

Anyway, he doesn't give you what he believes is important to you right away. He'll tease you with it or try to tempt you if he needs you to move forward with something during the date, but he does give it to you once he's gotten all that he wants from you. Once he starts trusting that you won't leave him after getting what you want, he'll give you these personalized items as casual gifts.

Mozenrath's love-language is gift giving. He's very quick to talk and very quick to touch, he'll offer up quality time to keep you around and, if you get far enough, he may actually start helping you with stuff. Casually giving you personal items, though, is how you know you've been occupying his thoughts.

Xerxes is supposed to only watch from a distance. He does not watch from a distance.

Mozenrath spends most of the date telling Xerxes to get back to his post. Xerxes does go back a few times, but he's curious how the date's going. …Also, are you going to finish that meal, or…?

On the other hand, if you, against all odds, manage to get him to go out somewhere public, a bunch of his plans go out the window.

There's so many witnesses. So many people who may try to steal his fancy clothes or jewelry or may recognize him from his past exploits.

He doesn't mind being recognized too much since that means that he’s at least feared, but having someone point out a murderous sorcerer in the middle of a crowded area would bring about more ruckus than he wants to deal with. More likely than not, he'd have to teleport away. May leave you behind if he's not too attached.

Types of dates:

Art museums? Eh, he'd go along with it, but he prefers the grizzly stories behind the art rather than just looking at the physical surface of a piece. (“Perhaps you wish for me to make you into a work of art, my dearest?” -Said while passing a more gruesome sculpture)

Get a drink together? Ehh… It's likely that Mozenrath had it made himself. Just be careful that the drink isn't laced with something. Wouldn't put it past him to try and end the date early just to get a new undead minion or hostage. (“Oh, what's the matter? Too sophisticated for a drink, my love?”)

Libraries or bookstores? Eh, it's a good idea for a later date, but not the first. There wouldn't be much focus on you while he's scouting out what information to... research later. Shame that the collection he was looking at happened to disappear a few days later (“... … … …Oh, you're still here?”)

Taking Mozenrath out to a marketplace wouldn't be something he'd look forward to, as he'd expect you to try and coerce him into buying you a gift. Expect a lot of sarcastic remarks from him about the goods on display and the people selling them. If you catch him staring at something, though, maybe you could ask him about it. It may legitimately impress him if you purchase something for his sake. (“...A gift? Well, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised.”)

Taking him out to eat somewhere also wouldn't be the first thing that he would prefer, as he's rather suspicious about anyone he doesn't know preparing his food for him. He may even suspect you of knowing the people working in the area and for this all being a trick to drug or poison him. Expect for him to make casual remarks about himself while he's testing his food and drink for poison and eyeing the workers suspiciously. (“Hmm? Ah… No, I am simply checking the quality. Best to be certain before whetting my appetite.”)

I honestly think an aquarium date or something of the like would work out great if you played your cards right. Point out things that he may find interesting, offer up interesting facts, listen to his lectures about biology… He’s a bit uncertain how he feels about the eels. Why should he be impressed when he has something similar but so much better?! …All the same, he still finds himself watching them. ("...I am well aware that eels can traverse many obstacles. It makes it quite a pain to catch Xerxes at times.")

He wouldn't be focusing on you much during a museum date. What? Where did those fossilized remains go? Eh, you were probably seeing things. Time to go before the guards show up. ("It was to be removed the next day! It shall see far better use in my collections.")

Good luck getting him on a hike. The most time Mozenrath spends outdoors is when he's shopping at the marketplace or scouting out other kingdoms for his future invasions. The idea of sweating and dragging his feet out in the hot sun while ruining his nice clothes is not something appealing to him, especially if it's an area outside of his kingdom where he feels open to be ambushed. (“...Are you… quite done… with trying to torture me?! Do you wish for me to leave you stranded out here?!”)

Going out to a nice garden or the like isn't the best idea, but it isn't the worst one. Mozenrath would look rather bored most of the time, focusing more on talking about himself or getting information out of you. Maybe a plant or two does catch his attention. …No, he wouldn't steal it. Why would you think that? Besides, he has a better plant to show you back in his growroom… (“You have a green thumb, do you? …Perhaps you would be interested in seeing something green and carnivorous, my love?”)

Watching the sunset honestly is probably the best idea of the bunch. Mozenrath doesn't get a lot of sun in his own kingdom, so taking him up to a high place (given that he's allowed to teleport or fly) may give him the opportunity to see something that he doesn't often get to. Watching the sunset actually holds some nostalgic and very positive memories for Mozenrath, so as long as you allow him to scan for potential ambushes or the like, then he'd be rather happy with this experience. (“...Hmm? I'm… pondering. …The sun's light does make you appear rather... exquisite, my love.”)

Similarly, Mozenrath has rather fond memories of stargazing. He would prefer to do it by himself at first, but having the opportunity to show off his knowledge of astronomy would be very nice for him. (“The moon does appear round to the naked eye, my dear, but it is, in fact, a Scalene ellipsoid, or what is referred to as an imperfect sphere. Think of it as an egg, or perhaps the shape of a lemon. If we deform the sphere by means of an affine transformation…”)

Date ideas that were too funny not to include:

Goat yoga. Could you even imagine?! Mozenrath eyeing you suspiciously while he's being encouraged to stretch or bend over, wondering just what part of him you're looking at, if any. He's never been the most flexible, so it takes a bit of time to get him in a comfortable position, but the moment he gets down and a freakin’ goat jumps on top of him?! Expect him to be twisting around like a cat while trying to toss off the ungulate. He gets kicked out fairly quickly. (“YOU'RE LAUGHING?! Your plan was to get my clothes between the teeth of an ungulate?! So you could laugh?!”)

Surprisingly, Mozenrath doesn't hate axe throwing. He's never been the most physically apt, as it's the gauntlet that keeps his energy up most of the time, so he believes such an offer is another opportunity to laugh at or ambush him. With weapons! He's a bit surprised to see that you're having fun, though, and that you're excited to let him try. …Honestly, the axe feels nice in his hands. Gives him a sense of power that he normally wouldn't feel without the gauntlet. If you're not afraid of giving Mozenrath a weapon and you don't laugh at him if he falls short of the competition, then he would be alright with the experience. …What, no, he didn't use magic to get the axe in the target! Why would you think that?! (“I am rather impressed that you're trusting me with a weapon, my dear. …Perhaps you're aware of what power I have when I'm empty-handed!”)

If you could get him into an escape room, oh boy… Just be prepared to flee or pay for damages if he runs out of time. Mozenrath may not always be the best with puzzles (see 'The Lost City of the Sun'), but he gets such a high when he gets his brain going. Only issue is that he's not the best with teamwork, so you may end up standing to the side for most of the time while he works his magic, pun intended. Even if you didn't participate too much, he would still see this as a positive experience and be happy that you got to see his intelligence at work. Whether you both finish the puzzles or not, treat him to something nice afterward to keep that positive mood going. He would love you for that. ("Our captor seems to be interested in steganography, though he hasn't gotten far in his studies. How unfortunate for him that I have!")

Haunted house attractions… I think you can tell why this would be a terrible idea for a first date or a date with Moze in general. If Mozenrath isn’t insulting the cheap props, makeup, effects, and the like, he's punching out or detonating anything that happens to startle him. (“I AM THE GREATEST SORCERER OF OUR AGE! YOU DARE TRY TO PROVOKE ME?!?!”)

Slight NSFW

Mozenrath would personally prefer that there's no sex on the first date. He saves such intimacy for when he's trying to get something from someone. If he feels that he won't be able to get you back after this date or you still have something that he wants, he'll offer sex in order to keep you around.
