Filming content for my job and I LOVED this aesthetic. Does anyone else sometimes just pause and stare at their bookcases? 😌

(Clearing the reblogs because that was dizzingly long) Thanks for the tag @moonsstarsandscience! The star map sounds lovely...
Okay so now for my room, which is hard because its mostly books.
And because I want to show off my recently thrifted jacket, this is what that floral denim looks like! (Photo snapped right before I took it home with me... I've already worn it like six times.)

I kind of just want to read something super specific, preferably the scenes in my head, but I don't really want to write it to be able to read it...
I mean, I could read a new book, or re read a favourite book, but then there's the risk of time warping strangely and suddenly 9pm becomes 2am and that's not okay either.

The story deals with fear, corruption, ethnicity, racism, slavery, inequality, and persecution. Rangee and Faizal are both killed with their watch and wallet missing, and shot twice in the head. The Somewhat Counter-intuitive Reading Habit That Helped Me Read More
I am a slow reader. Well, slow compared to the hardcore Bookstagrammers and Booktokers out there. I don’t think I’ll ever reach 50+ books a year, at least not at my current stage of parenthood. But I have consistently surpassed my personal goal of 25 books/year for a few years now, and to me, that’s still a lot. Continue reading The Somewhat Counter-intuitive Reading Habit That Helped Me…

My mum is forgiven for the hike. We went to look at a free couch and the bloke was a retired environmental academic and they're moving to a smaller place so are downsizing their library.
I welcome the new friends to the every growing reading pile!

National Typewriter Day
June 23 was National Typewriter Day. A day to celebrate a historical technological advancement. So let’s dig into some of the history behind the typewriter, and their continued use among certain authors. Brief History Christopher Latham Sholes, Carlos Glidden, and Samuel W. Soule patented the first commercially made typewriters which featured the first QWERTY keyboard. However, they weren’t the…
