I unironically really like the To All The Boys I've Loved Before trilogy.

And I also kinda wanna write a Marauders au based on the first one where it ends in Rosestarkillerchaser

We'd have Regulus as Lara Jean

James as Josh

Lily as Margot

Barty as Peter

Evan as Gen

Kitty and Chis combined as Pandora

But also kinda Chis as Dorcas

Evan and Reg would have a Childhood friends to enemies to lovers typa relationship. Obvi Reg and Barty would have a fake dating to actual lovers. And James and Reg would have a best friends brother to lovers.

And James could be the "collage boy" that Evan dumps Barty for. BUT! They're doing the same thing that Reg and Barty are and aggdgsysgsgsyaus

Maybe background Wolfstar and Marylilydora (I cant remember their ship name again 😭) and of course Dorlene

It would be my two favorite things, The Marauders and TATBILB

So i saw a bunch of people on tiktok saying Barbie was super mean for rejecting Ken while he was "like sooo in love with her", and i answered to a few of them saying:

hey, um well, she doesn't need to be with him and he did take Barbieland and force patriarchy-

Only to be met with a bunch of comments saying i didn't understand the movie because obviously the movie was about an upside down world where the kens represent the women and they need to rise so i'm dumb

And i might be dumb? Idk, i just took the L and left

And I'm just sitting here thinking, "I could have phrased that so much better. More eloquently. More concisely." I can see where I began thoughts and abandoned them half-formed. My addiction to parentheticals. Places where I circled around my intended meaning, unable to state it directly

Probably just need more practice writing at the end of the day. Like we all do.

so once me and my wife were watching a documentary where a snake ate like a million eggs. that snake just went to fucking town on eggs. and the snake made the eggs look so good that i kept thinking about it, and thinking about it, and thinking about it, and eventually it was 11pm and i ran out of willpower and decided to eat one (1) singular raw egg just to prove to myself that the snake was surely a liar.

the snake was not a liar. texture is like, super important to me and raw eggs are very Texture so i had another one, and then another one, and then another one, and eventually i ran out of eggs.

i had like, fifteen raw eggs.

i didnt really know how to explain this momentary madness to my wife, so my Plan was to put all the eggshells into a grocey bag, and then throw that grocery bag in the dumpster, and if she never noticed that would be Excellent and if she noticed immediately i could lie and say that the eggs went bad.

except i cant lie very good, and of course with murphys law being such, i got salmonella.

so i threw up a lot and my wife asked me what poisoned me so and i tried very hard to dodge the question but i was oozing shame like oil from a room temperature cheese and eventaully i gave in and told her everything and to her enormous credit she was more flabbergasted than actually upset. she did make me promise to not eat any more raw eggs, which i have stuck to, and she gives me weird looks during nature documentaries now as if desire was the only thing keeping me from eating thousands of pounds of krill anyway i made a joke earlier about being able to eat my age in eggs and my sister in law in law made a drawing to comemorate the moment and also because it was my birthday. she's excellent. thank you 10000000% @cintailed. you should all visit her page and admire her work.

So y’all know the classic edge trope of “my blade cannot be sheathed until it has tasted blood”? What if a magic sword that has that requirement, except it’s sort of inverted. A sword that, instead of being inhabited by an evil spirit which once awakened cannot be lulled back to sleep except by blood sacrifice, was inhabited by a benevolent spirit who would not allow the sword to be drawn unless bloodshed were the only possible solution. A sword whose power could never be misused because it would only allow itself to be used in situations where it was justified. What about a Paladin who spends their entire journey fighting with a sheathed sword, incapacitating but never killing or maiming. The party believes that the Paladin has taken an oath of no killing, until they face the big villain. And it is in that moment, and that moment alone, that the sword will allow itself to be drawn.
