I love middle aged Benny headcanons but it think it is marginally funnier if Benny is mid 20s for 3 reasons:

Him at 17/18 taking over the Boot Riders and getting that god awful suit that he doesn’t event fill out yet (like it just started fitting as of the game)

His brain not being fully developed which does not help his canon INT stat of 3

You’re not my dad conversations between him and House that are supposed to be business oriented but Benny is getting pseudo grounded.

Also being a manlet and young is so funny seeing as he runs a casino and I bet he gets asked where his parents are by the other casinos as bullying cause he’s got chronic baby face.

Husk having once been an Overlord makes so much sense when you look at his character design. The Overlords are the sinners who own the most souls. They also have visual theming that communicates what their entire "deal" is. Carmilla is made of steel and points and she sells weapons. Valentino looks like a pimp and works in the porn industry. Alastor is a radio host. Presumably their jobs and specialties (or simple conquest) is also where they get most of the souls they own, like Valentino with Angel Dust.

But there's a gap in the line-up. Gambling. There's no Overlord with an obvious gambling motif like Husk has. Out of all the exploitative industries where people could end up signing their very souls away, gambling seems like the most obvious. So as the only character who looks like they could be running a bunch of casinos where people go so broke they end up betting their souls, which Hell has to have, it fits Husk very well.

Does Bunny!Reader have to constantly chew on things like a real bunny?

In her human form? No.

In her bunny form? Yes.

Majority of the time she is in her bunny form, she will find something to nibble on whether it’d be one of the HSR women’s fingers, clothes, a random piece of carpet she found, etc. those chubby cheeks are always moving 😌

Those brain cells do not function in Bunny form it seems 😅 many, many times has Himeko, Yukong, or even the Boss, had to scold Bunny Reader and tell her to spit out whatever she’s chewing in her bunny form :)

ngl i do like the artstyle and some of them have very cute designs buuut the amount of characters in suits and top hats bothers me very much. Also i think the sinners’ designs should reflect their personalities and death dates a bit more

Saw the casino owner yan post and... Priest reader and them. Just think about it, a priest becoming ‘buddies’ with a casino owner? Absolutely funny yet also cool to think about; maybe a bit more mysterious if priest reader's still in contact with the casino owner because they need something... Just a little thought though.

There you are. Like an apparition of times long past, you stand basked in the tender glow of the dawn; collecting dust on your gloved fingers as you sweep them across the casino owner's desk. Unfitting of the boss of such a fine establishment, but the image matches the person. The owner of the space thumbs the key held between their knuckles, unsure as to how you managed to weasel your way in - or if you were even there at all. The certainty in your voice proves that of all the times you've shown yourself to their unworthy vessel..

This one is real.

"Been a while, hasn't it?"

The question comes in the same tone as asking about the weather. A mercy in light of how your ties legitimately met their end, but one seen as just given your forgiving nature. A priest and a casino owner. A handyman of the lord, and the mortal ally of their greatest enemy. How ever did your relationship have a leg to stand on. Their tongue runs over the back of their teeth; the floodgates for all they wanted to say. Enervated, they allow themself to slip.

"What are you doing here?"

It was at this moment that the pleasantries end. How you wished they could've lasted longer. You raise the cross kept in frame, stroking its glass fondly. "Let me preface this by saying that I do miss you. I prayed that our reunion could have been founded by better means, but it seems God's throne was unreachable that day."

Their lips drawn in a thin line as you set the frame back down.

"I.. am being followed. And authorities will do nothing to help me despite the evidence I've given them." You hug your arms to your chest. "I'm afraid... and I know you're the only one who can help me."

They want to ask why you've come to that conclusion, but both of you knew the answer. Kidnappings, money laundering, murder. All things they've gone to you for forgiveness for, and the catalyst for your eventual separation. They had a chance for everything, and they blew it all. Too afraid of heaven and the angel that guided them to its gates for all the things that they've done and would do- and feeling they felt."

They slide their hands out of their pockets. "Sure, but don't come back here once everything's cleared up."

I'll devour every part of you if you don't.

Your half smile resurfaces. "Thank you, dear friend. May I?"

You lift your arms. They meet you halfway, descending upon you as if you were the only agent keeping them from an icy end. They eyes the cross on the table - seeking pardon from the lies they told and the paranoia they brought you.

What’s your opinion on cross guild? I’m sending this on anon because I kinda hate them while everybody loves them. I think it’s because Buggy is my favourite character and I just can’t see it as anything other than abuse😭 Do you think their dynamic will change? Is my opinion based on unconditional clown love?

i think the fanon toxic polycule concept is kinda funny? like, the idea of buggy continuing to fail upward in life into a triad with two very powerful people who started out hating him? hysterical. does it have a strong basis in canon? no. just about every buggy ship has to be taken with a grain of “let’s ignore the reality of the situation here” salt. my own buggy ship is not immune to this! but cross guild… really needs that seasoning.

in canon it’s more a hostage situation than a relationship—albeit a pretty slapstick hostage situation, as despite their best efforts mihawk and crocodile cannot control buggy or his followers at all, and the injuries buggy takes are treated pretty lightly by the narrative.

in that context, it makes sense that sexual interpretations of cross guild would have strong vibes of either bdsm or ipv. i’m not surprised it’s upsetting for you.

in the end, it’s something i could be convinced to read a mundane au about, where dynamics are always softened to better fit the setting, but that’s about it for me re: the trio. i don’t expect their dynamic to change much, even if buggy manages to rope them into going along with his one piece questing, and i don’t much care.

now, the pairs within the trio?

crocodile and buggy is just “give me my money” -> flight response -> threats of violence -> fawn response -> actual violence -> desperate fawn response. good god. i get why it brings out certain impulses in certain readers—buggy begs to lick the man’s boots, ffs—but it does not really do anything for me, and i don’t expect that to change. crocodile wants money and power, which buggy respects because same, but as he has less of both he can’t really offer crocodile much of anything, and crocodile seems very aware and disdainful of that.

buggy and mihawk is theoretically very fun for the same reason luffy interacting with either of them is fun: they all have a connection to shanks that makes their interactions with anyone else who knows shanks so weird. they cannot be normal about that guy. in practice, none of that has shown up, we’ve just seen mihawk offended by buggy’s personality/reputation/aesthetic and buggy flinching away from his glares. (i can’t imagine mihawk punching someone, so i suspect all of buggy’s injuries came from crocodile… probably because the only way mihawk could actually hurt buggy would be with lethal force.) i’m hopeful, as has been indicated in previous mihawk posts, that we’ll get something more here eventually.

mihawk and crocodile legitimately made me go oh, hm in that first cross guild chapter. crocodile calls this guy up out of nowhere to say, “hey, i notice your job security kinda sucks right now, want to join my company? we have a lot in common… we both hate other people…” is there a history between these two, or did crocodile just get good vibes off him the one time they both bothered to show up for a warlord meeting? i want to know more. if these two ever get rid of buggy, would they actually be any good at managing baroque works 2: crossy guild? idk. i suspect without a scapegoat to redirect their anger onto they’d start having unavoidable personality conflicts, regardless of their managerial competencies, but even that could be fun to watch fall apart.
