Orion awoken to feeling Cell's hand on her hair stroking it. Orion flinched slightly, and she groaned. She gets up.

"Good morning, sweetie~" Cell said, creepily.

"How long have you... Been here for?" She asked.

"Not that long, I've been waiting for you to awaken~" Cell croons.

Orion nodded, and she looked away. "Yeah, did you get any sleep?" She asked.

"No, I don't need that~ I run on my love for you~" He said with a soft smile. Orion nodded.

"Mommy!" Said a voice, Orion turned to face the door, promptly ignoring Cell's weird smile, and not seeing his eye twitch in annoyance.

"Yes, Zarburne?" Orion asked, Zarburne jumped on the bed and into the arms of his Mom, his saiyan hair poking out as he looked wild.

"Can you make me breakfast? Uncle Stard, Vex and Roots are too busy." He frowns.

"I'll... I'll see." Orion rubbed her eyes. "Mommy just woke up, and-" She began.

"I'll do it." Cell says.

"Huh, you'll make breakfast for a child that's not yours?" Orion asked.

"Yes, what kind of husband would I be, if I didn't care for someone I consider a son?" Cell asked.

"We're not even married."

"Yet."

Orion sat at the kitchen, as Cell, donned in an apron was cooking pancakes. Roots was frowning and seemed to be annoyed. "Are you sure Cell is safe to be around?"

Humming stopped. Cell turned around to face Roots with a dead serious look on his face and his eyes narrowed towards him.

"What do you mean, Roots? I am fine. I am perfectly safe." Cell said.

"Yeah, but you shouldn't be around Zarburne." Roots snapped.

"Really?" Cell hummed, "Why would you believe that? I am perfectly good with children. I practically raised the older version of Zarburne and my own son. So what makes me unqualified and not safe to be around?"

Roots faced twisted in anger. "I don't trust you."

"Yeah, I don't trust you." Cell responds rather sharpy, "But just because I don't trust you doesn't mean I'll make a unsubstantiated claim about someone I don't know."

Roots seemed intimidated by his choice of words. "...I can't have a gut feeling?"

"A feeling based on pure speculation before you get to know me?" Cell placed down the spatula and turned off the stove heading to the male. Roots seemed to be quite scared, "That's just generalization. Judging someone fully before you get to know them? How rude."

Roots tried to back away, but was scared. "I-I just want what's best for Orion! As she is my responsibility-"

"Correction, was." Cell hisses out, "You are no longer her responsibility, it's now my responsibility to ensure Orion's happiness and mutual likes and dislikes. I am here to provide her with the support she needs. You, are no longer needed."

Roots didn't want to stay and take this, he was a saiyan for fucks sake. He stood a bit taller. "Yeah, well. You forgot I knew her for as long as I have been alive! You, just can't waltz in her life and claim she's yours! You're a stran-"

Roots was interrupted when Cell grabbed his finger and bent it, causing Roots pain, he lets out a sharp whimper of pain, as Cell did it.

"What was that? You should be more louder."

"..."

"Nothing to say?"

"I just want what's best for Zarburne... He's a little kid... I don't want you shaping him and messing up his fathers legacy..."

"Last time I checked, Ginyu was turned into a Frog and died on Namek, his legacy was spent 99% time posing with his friends. I don't think Zarburne was missing out on something he can learn just by being enrolled in a Earth activity." Cell said.

For once, Roots fell silent.

Unsung/Underappreciated Heroes of the Android Saga

These are the characters I feel don't get enough recognition in the narrative (or even fandom) for their actions in the android and cell saga.

Future Bulma

I think Trunks is praised more by other characters for piloting the time machine and saving the timeline than Future Bulma is for designing and building it. Especially considering the dire circumstances. I honestly don't remember Future Bulma being talked about much for her miraculous feat. I have been watching a ton of clips lately and my memory is still blank. Also, this woman is a great mom! She raised Trunks very well :)

Present Bulma

She made the remote that could have ended the cell saga before things got worse. However, Krillin literally stomped all over her hard work when he decided to simp for 18.

Piccolo

Goku may be the best fighter but Piccolo is the leader. He was the one who relayed the information about the androids to the others. He was the one leading the effort against Imperfect Cell. He was the one who fought the best out of the Z fighters against the Cell Jrs. Even better than Vegeta and Trunks. And rallied Tien and Yamcha to defend Goku. I don't think Piccolo is acknowledged enough for being the voice of reason on the team.

Tien Shinhan

Forget the epic tri beam against Semi-Perfect Cell. This man deserves some credit for going to help Piccolo even though he stood no chance against the androids. Good thing he was there otherwise 18 would have been Cell food way sooner. What a role model!

And now...the true MVP of the Cell games. The person who arguably helped Gohan more than Goku or Piccolo ever did in that battle...I present to you...

ANDROID SIXTEEN 👑

Android 16 deserved the world. He is the only one to jump in to help Gohan. Granted Piccolo and Goku were about to as well. But he did not have to have a dad quarrel first before he took action! And he helped Gohan to unleash his potential. Unlike Goku who just threw Gohan to the wolves and misunderstood the nature of his son's power, 16 was able to connect with Gohan calmly on an emotional level. He understood Gohan's gentle nature and urged him to use his power to protect people. A true MVP. Too bad Gohan likely destroyed his processor chip during his power-up :(. 16 you left us too soon...

"I can't believe we decided to stay here." Roots gruffed to Orion, Orion sighs and stared at her member of her Force.

"What other choice do we have? I doubt Frieza will allow us back and Ginyu is dead!" Orion said, exasperated.

"Yet, you did choose to stay with the same people who killed your husband." Roots said.

"Look, I prefer we don't get into this right now." Orion snaps, the car made a pit stop, and she gets out of the car, holding her sleeping son. Zarburne was the son between her and Ginyu and he was only 4 years old. He was named after her best friend Zarbon. But his name was pronounced Zar-Burn.

After being defeated by the Z-Warriors and having lost her 3 men, she was spared due to the orders of "Prince Vegeta" due to her being the only female left in their species. She didn't really care for Vegeta as she found him to be annoying and arrogant. So when she had the chance, she left Earth with Zarburne, Stard, Vex and Roots.

She went back to Earth weeks later realizing she needed a better life for her son. While she was sad about Ginyu's death, she knew he wanted her to be happy with their son.

She stared at this male, he seemed to have silver(?) hair, she narrowed her eyes, and next to him stood two other boys. One of them looked like her son, while another looked like... Hm, she didn't know, he started to tell them about some sort of Androids attacking. Orion tuned them out.

After awhile, she was sitting by herself, tending to Zarburne when the males alongside the mysterious Silver Haired Male.

"Hello, who are you?" Orion asked. The male that looked like her son smiled.

"I am your Son Zarburne from the future!" Future Zarburne said, Orion's eyes widened.

"Really? Then who is that?" She pointed to the other male.

"That's my brother, or your other son." Zarburne said. Orion's eyes widened.

"No way, who was the father? Don't tell me, Vegeta?"

"No."

"Yamcha?"

"No."

"Tien?"

"Nope."

"Krillin?"

"Gods no!"

"Piccolo?"

"Eeh... Kinda, but not really?"

"Then tell me!"

"When you see him you'll know."

Bulma and Vegeta ended up together, they had a son named Trunks, the name of the mysterious figure that arrived here with her future kids. At first Future Zarburne's words made no sense at all.

But then, a bunch of rapid Kis that's similar to Vegeta, Piccolo and Goku. She didn't know what this was, and went to meet with them. That's when she saw him.

A hulking Android.

The perfect being. For a split second, Cell turned around and smirked.

"Ah, it's you. You're so pretty and beautiful..." Cell said, his pink... eyes staring into her own brown eyes. "The mother... of my children." Cell croons, stepping forward.

Orion got into a fighting stance. "Who are you?"

Cell snickers and smiled. His enchanting Pink Eyes gleamed.

"I'm Cell, your future husband~" Cell walked up to Orion and Orion felt like she was unable to find a hiding place.

"...No... No you-" She began.

"Yes I am." Cell purrs. "You know that kid with Future Zarburne~?"

"...It can-"

"That's our son."

She walked back with Cell, the others, including Trunks well Future Trunks were shocked.

"What are you doing with him?" Vegeta snaps.

"Yeah!" Gohan blurts out.

"He's... Agreed to behave." Orion mumbled.

"Behave!?" Vegeta sputters. "I hardly even fucking believe it!"

"Look, trust me."

"Absolutely NOT! Are we seriously going to let her keep Cell?" Vegeta turned to face the others. Cell was stroking Orion's hair creepily.

"We kept you, Vegeta." Orion said. Bulma snickers.

"Ahhaha! kept Vegeta! Oh that's... That's hilarious!" Bulma laughed, Vegeta rolled his eyes.

"Oh whatever, I don't care. Just-" Vegeta began, but seeing Cell look intimidating his eyes gazed away.

"Just what?" Cell asked.

"Nothing."
