THIS GIF IS MAKING ME ACT UP—
As a touch starved person, seeing this sort of casual physical touch is literally life changing. IT’S SO SWEET AND INTIMATE IN A NON-SEXUAL, NON-ROMANTIC WAY.
Two people who are content enough to just be physical with no preconceived notions or anything is such a special phenomenon fr.

"I knew there was a chance I'd find you here." You let out a relieved breath at the sight of your older sister sitting on a rusted swing in the old park near your home.
Darcy jolted upward at the sound of your voice. "Y/n, what are you doing here?" she asked with a fake smile plastered on her face. You could be a little oblivious sometimes, but you could not miss the trail of wet tears staining her cheeks.
It hurt your heart beyond measure to see her, even after everything that just happened, trying to put on a happy face for you. Life at home was far from easy. Your mother was incredibly strict and severe. You often thought she must be in a terrible amount of pain to be so cold and distant with her children. Your sister and you learned not to expect any favor from your mother. Even if you were only a year younger than Darcy, she always took her big sister role very seriously. She constantly tried to protect you from the bitterness of your mother. Even when she had been kicked out of her home, she was still trying to protect you.
You stared at her in silence for a second, your gaze filled with concern. "Darcy, stop."
"What?" she tried subtly wiping away the tears. "Did you want to hang out? We can go and get ice cream."
She took a step, but you grabbed her wrist firmly. "Drop the bullshit. I heard everything."
A crack in her mask. A second to falter.
"Are you okay?" you asked while softening your hold on her wrist.
The three little words had the power to destroy the front she kept putting up. Her face scrunched in a pained expression, silver tears lining her eyes.
You sighed once more before pulling her in a hug. She melted in your arms, big sobs crawling their way out of her hurt body. You allowed her to rest in your arms, to let everything go.
"I'm so sorry Dar," you whispered, squeezing her as tight as you could, hoping it would somehow put back the pieces of her heart your mom had shattered times and times again.
You guided her to sit on a bench as she calmed down. Delicately, you wiped the tears away from her cheeks.
"I'm sorry for doing this to you. I'm sorry you had to hear that."
You let out an exasperated breath. "You don't ever have to apologize about what happened back there. You don't have to protect me all the time. At least, you have to let me protect you in return. We are a team. We are the only thing we can always, always count on. I know how hard you try to be happy all the time, but I promise, no one would love you less because you showed the hard moments. I surely won't. I know Tara won't, and anyone else in the gang won't, for that matter."
Kicking pebbles with the tip of her weathered Converse she seemed so vulnerable. Darcy felt like a mistake, a burden, most of the time. Probably because of everything your mother kept telling her, and you hated her for it.
"I'm not so sure about that… Nobody likes a burden," she mumbled.
"You are not a burden. Do you find me annoying or burdensome when I have hardships?"
"Of course not!" she exclaimed with a surprised expression.
You lifted your brows with a knowing smile as realization dawned on her. "And I can confirm it's the same for you."
You nodded at the entrance of the park where Tara, Elle, Tao, Joe, Nick, and Isaac appeared, worried looks on their faces. Your sister's girlfriend let out a strangled noise when she noticed Darcy sitting on the bench with you.
"Please don't be mad, but they were very worried about you, and I think you need them."
She looked back at you with tears in her eyes and relief sketched on her face. She grabbed your hand and held tight as she waved to her friends.
"If only you could see yourself through my eyes. You would understand how fricking amazing you are. You are not and will never be alone." You finally added before you were wrapped into a big group hug.

I just finished Our Flag Means Death, and I think my self hatred runs deeper than I thought. I believe my next binge will be watching Heartstopper again since I at least know what's coming and know it doesn't end in tragedy like ofmd or Good Omens lol

Tumblr media
after the train meeting happened thoughts of it slowly started to leave your mind. it wasn't like you forgot what happened, or about who tao was. of course not, it was hard to get him away. it was like his voice was on the forefront of your mind; always echoing lowly behind your thoughts.
you knew you would see him again, later rather than sooner seeing as his school was only a short distance walk away from yours- and the fact that you were friends with his friends. you never thought about actually hanging out with him alone, and you never could because how would you even bring that conversation up to the girls? and plus, you don't even have his number. it was all up to a waiting game.
luckily enough for you, it was sooner.
"so what do you think?" all heads turn towards you as tara finishes talking. you hadn't been fully present in the conversation, slowly nodding off over your carrot sticks.
after a moment you blink away the haze in your eyes and look back at them, "what?"
elle looks at you and scoffs, a playful twitch in her brow. tara groans and leans back on darcy who lightly catches taras head in her hands, "you weren't even listening!"
"i was i swear! i just didn't catch the last part!"
"i said," she takes a moment and throws one of darcys monster munch at you, to which you catch and throw it back, "what do you think about hanging out with us after school?"
"it won't just be us!" darcy interrupts, ignoring the look on taras face, "it'll be charlie, nick, isaac, and tao."
at the name your head perks up, fully paying attention, "did you say tao?"
"you know tao?" elle pipes up, "as in tao xu?"
"don't be crass," you mumble, nimbly messing with your lunch, "there's only one tao in this area."
elle, choosing to ignore your smart remark, begins fiddling with her phone underneath the table, fingers moving a mile a minute, "how do you know him? he's never mentioned he knew you."
"that's because he doesn't," you kick her from under the table, miming that the teachers coming, she looks at her phone again and puts it away, "not in the way he knows you guys. we met on the train a week ago, he told me he knew you guys and that's how we got to know eachother. but we never traded numbers, his stop came to soon."
"that's even more of a reason for you to hang out!" in the random burst of energy from darcy, taras head was dropped out of her hands and onto the lunch table with a hallow thunk. she made no effort to move it. "you guys could reconnect! become friends- or something more-."
darcys speech was cut short by elles hand muffling the sound. giggling, you shake your head in disagreement, " i don't know, i feel like that'd be a little stalkerish."
"don't be crass." elle mocks, "it's not that big of a deal, honestly. plus it's about time you hung out with us outside of school."
the rest of the girls nodded from across the table and elle nudges your shoulder with her elbow. you look at her and then back to them. it wouldn't be a bad idea to meet tao again. you missed the conversations you had- even though it was cut short. and this would be a perfect opportunity to talk to him again and hopefully become friends. not only that, you would be meeting the others and actually be a part of a close knit-friend group. and besides, when would you have a chance to talk to him like this again. walking past his school and waving "hi" doesn't count.
though on the downside what if there is no connection like there was last time? you would never know if you didn't give it a shot.
after a moment you look up and wipe your sweaty palms on your skirt. "okay," a deep sigh leaves your mouth and the girls perk up, "i'll come. just text me the details."
you manage to get some of the last words out before they start screeching loudly. glancing over to where the teachers sit at lunch you can see your homeroom teacher giving you a pointed look with her arms crossed. without having to be told twice you quickly quiet the girls down.
tara squeals, "this is perfect, you can finally meet everyone else and officially be apart of our group! i'll make sure to text you everything!"
you don't say anything in response, a small smile making its way to your face, though you still can't help but to feel nervous.
Tumblr media
standing infront of nicks door felt awkward. from inside you could hear the faint sounds of laughing and music vibrating the house. in your hand you hold a bag of chips from tesco, it felt like it would've been rude to just show up without anything to offer.
shifting it over to your non-dominate hand you wipe your palms on your pant leg and hesitantly knock on the door. for a moment it goes silent and then the heavy sound of boots hitting the floor beneath the door way. looking down you can see a shadow of someones feet standing on the other side and it gets kind of weird when it takes a few seconds longer for it to open.
growing rather impatient you raise your fist to knock again when suddenly the door swings open and the bright light inside covers the person infront of you in a shadow. only when they step out you can actually see who is there.
"tao?" you call out, stepping a little closer.
"yeah, hey." that smile that's starting to grow on you makes its way onto his face as he plays with his beanie. the bag of chips crinkles under your arm pit as the two of you stare at each other. the energy around you shifts and you can tell that tao notices too.
"oh sorry," he breaks eye contact and steps out of the doorway, holding it open for you. "please come in, don't want you to get sick."
you laugh politely, saying your thank you's as you watch him close and lock the door. the sound of music picks back up from the parlor when you turn back around to face him.
tao rocks on the balls of his feet and stuffs his hands in his jacket pockets, his evidently nervous and makes no move to say anything.
"it's nice to see you again." you mummer lightly, gazing up at him. a low laugh emits from his chest as he nods his head.
"it's um," he smiles again, this time with teeth. "it's nice to see you again too. i was wondering when we'd meet actually. i had realized that i didn't get your number when i got off."
you nod in agreement, "it's okay, we could still exchange?" hope dances through your words as you cross your fingers behind the chip bag.
taos eyes widen for a second and his quick to reach for his phone, "yeah, let me just..." he swiftly unlocks his phone and hands it over to you eagerly.
in return you gently take it and enter your digits, adding you name to your contact so it could save. "perfect."
taos eye wander around your face and then towards the bag in your hand, "you brought snacks?"
"oh!" you bring the chips out in front of you, "i didn't want to come empty handed."
"no please, don't worry." he reaches over and takes it from your hands, signaling for you to follow him, "every time we hang out charlie spends half of his bank on snacks. we always have so much that we save the leftovers for the next hangouts."
you realize that he walks you to the kitchen and politely place yourself near the kitchen sink as he reaches in the cabinets to grab a plastic orange bowl. "you all hangout a lot?"
tao nods, "oh yeah," he pulls on the bag but it doesn't budge, after trying again and failing you gently take it from his hands and open it with ease, he gives you a timid half-smile, "every week when we can."
"cool."
"cool."
the sound of the chips hitting the bowl fills the silence between the two of you. only when tao walks back over from the trash he speaks. "i hope you join us for now own, you haven't met the others yet but we would love for you to be our friend."
you can't help but smile, "i would love too."
tao releases a heavy breath, nodding his head so quickly you fear he'll get whiplash, "cool, awesome, amazing." you giggle, for a moment he pauses and turns his gaze towards you, "and also," he adds slowly, "maybe...we could hangout aswell?"
you give him a astonished look, "seriously?"
"well yeah, unless- you don't want to, which is like, totally fine, I get it-."
"no no, tao, i would love to. i'm just shocked is all."
he lets out a confused grunt, "what? why?"
shrugging your shoulders you look at him and then back towards the chip bowl. before you could say anything a voice emerges from the parlor;
"oi hurry up and bring her in here! stop hogging her!"
turning your head towards the sound you can't help but giggle at the urgency in darcys voice. "wouldn't want to keep them waiting, no?" you say, turning back towards tao.
he lets out a playful shaky breath and stares at the door, "no we do not." he walks over to you, chip bowl in one hand and offers you the other. "shall we?"
you look at his arm then towards him, and with a content smile you nod your head, "we shall."

Hiii!! First of all wanted to say how happy I am to always see you in my dash! You’re a big inspiration to me for writing and I have a fic I need to finish and you’ve helped with getting me motivated to do so. 💖 For the hcs to drabbles, I love the idea of Nick being able to say tickle and ticklish to Charlie when he’s being all teasey, but when it’s used against him- he blushes and can’t look at Charlie. A big and tough rugby lad until Charlie turns the tables.
Friend! *hugs* Oh my goodness, you are beyond sweet! Thank you so, so much! I'm glad I can be a part of your inspiration and motivation- that means a ton, truly!
This headcanon is so freaking cute AHH! I've gotcha covered! :D
“Nick, I swear if you keep tapping that pen, I will tickle you!”
The threat was fairly weak- Charlie didn’t even know if Nick was ticklish. He figured the rugby lad would grin at him all cheeky before tackling him into the carpet.
What he didn’t expect was Nick to freeze, eyes widening and cheeks flushing a noticeable shade of red. Charlie stared.
Then he smiled.
“Nick-”
“Don’t.” Nick held up his hands, already giggling. “Doohohn’t you dare!”
“Don’t what? I just said your name.” Charlie turned around so he was facing him properly, slowly crawling up until he was inches from his boyfriend. “I didn’t say I was gonna tickle you, did I? I could tickle you though, if you’re ticklish.”
Each use of that dreaded word make Nick scrunch more, shoulders to his ears as he hid his face in his hands. “Chahahr, stahhahap!” He whimpered, earning a fit of giggles from Charlie.
“I havent even touched you yet!” He laughed, waiting. When Nick peeked between his fingers, he smiled, wiggling his own. “Nick, I’m gonna….TICKLE YOU!” He yelled in glee, fingers finding all the soft parts of his belly. “Tickle tickle tickle!”
“AHH! AHehhahahahahahhaha! Chahahhhar, plehahahahhahase!” Nick cried, head thrown back in mirth as he wiggled like a fish. “Dohohoohohohohn’t aheahhahahhahahaha!”
“Don’t what? Don’t tickle you? Can’t say the word now, Nick? What happened?” Charlie was in heaven. After many, many, MANY flustering attacks from his boyfriend, it was nice to get him back. “Is my big strong rugby star boyfriend too ticklish for his own good?”
“Ahehahahhahaha, yehahahhahahhahahhahase!” Nick wheezed, grabbing his boyfriend around the waist and twisting. Seconds later, they were lying side by side on the carpet, giggling like kids. “Stahahahp it, you dohoohrk!”
“Nehehehver! You’re so cute!” Charlie smiled, scooting forward as he pressed a small kiss against Nick’s smiling mouth.
“No way- you’re the cute one. I’m the strong one.” Nick pulled him on top of him once more, making Charlie giggle like a child. “But I suppose it’s not so bad being cute every once and awhile.”
Send me a headcanon and I'll write a dabble for it!

Retaliation
Fandom: Heartstopper (Charlie, Nick)
Summary: Charlie loves his boyfriend very much. But that doesn't mean that he will overindulge him whenever Nick comes up with his great ideas.
Content warnings: tickling
"No, Nick please-"
Charlie broke off to bite his lip, desperate to not let any sounds escape. He tried to free his hands once more, but they were securely captured in his boyfriend's grip. Now, the problem was that Nick only needed one hand to keep the younger's arms in check. The other hand was currently softly tracing Charlie's thigh. What had started as a sweet, affectionate touch had soon resulted in Charlie beginning to squirm. Nick had of course immediately caught on and, evil as he was, pinned his boyfriend's wrists so he could unhinderedly continue with his shenanigans.
When he felt a squeeze right above his knee, Charlie flinched and sharply inhaled. Him and Nick quickly threw a glance at the teacher, worried that the noise in the otherwise rather quiet classroom had attracted his attention, but he didn't mind them. Once Nick was sure that they hadn't been found out, he smirked and started lightly scratching his nails over the younger's kneecap.
Charlie had to close is eyes because of how hard he was focusing on suppressing the giggles that were bubbling up inside of him. One particular stroke forced a muffled whine out of him and he slightly curled in on himself. "Gohod! Nick please, you're going to get us in trouble-"
A thud could be heard when he flinched so hard that his chair hit the side of the desk. Nick let his hair cover his face to hide his grin and quickly disguised his snort with a cough.
Their teacher still hadn't said anything, but despite their effort to keep quiet the two of them were definitely the noise source in the classroom. However, this was still not convincing enough for Nick to stop. And he made sure to convey that message by alternately pinching right above and spidering all over his boyfriend's knee. Charlie inhaled sharply and lowered his head while desperately shaking it.
"Pleasepleaseplease stohop! You know how bad my knees ahare!", he whispered frantically as some muffled giggles slipped out together with his words. He tried to free his wrists from his boyfriend's grasp but was too afraid to use much force because he was still trying to keep quiet. However, he was almost forced to give up on that when he felt fingers worming their way to the outside of his thigh.
"No Nick no- you jeherk! Oh I will murder you-"
And then there it was. The soft laugh ripped through the silence of the classroom before Charlie could even think of suppressing it. The hand that he clasped over his mouth obviously came to late because Nick only let his wrists go at the sound.
"Boys! Less noise and more concentration please!" Charlie didn't even blush at the attention they suddenly got at the teacher's words, he was just glad that the attack ended. After he'd steadied his breathing, he sat up straight in his chair again.
When he looked to his right, he saw Nick's shoulders shaking in silent laughter. He shoved his boyfriend's leg before returning to his assignment.
But as soon as Nick started working again as well, he leaned over to him and murmured: "Believe me that I meant it when I said I was going to murder you."
******later that day******
"Okay okAY! Charlie no-"
Nick knew it was over for him when his back got pressed against the floor of his room and Charlie moved to straddle his waist. The fond yet evil smirk on the younger's face bode ill.
"Please, please listen to me, I'm sorry okay, you don't have to do thihis! AHaha!"
Nick's wild flailing and reaching for the younger's hands did nothing to prevent the latter from rigorously tickling up and down his sides and ribs. Charlie giggled at his boyfriend's reactions to his attack, enjoying the high-pitched laughter it got out of him.
"Jesus, have your sides always been this sensitive? Maybe it's because of the technique..."
Nick yelped and instantly pressed his arms to his body the moment Charlie pinched and vibrated the flesh of his sides. The ticklish shock that ran through his body forced him to squeal and squeeze his eyes shut. He grabbed the younger's wrists, but his brain was so overloaded with stimuli that it didn't manage to give the command to push the hands away - or maybe it was because his body didn't truly want the sensations to stop. Contrary to his actions, he still gasped and protested.
"No don't do thahat!"
"Ooh, so it is the technique", Charlie teased with an evil smirk. The older shook his head and tried to pay no attention to the blush that spread on his face. "Shut uhup!" Charlie clicked his tongue. He suddenly paused his attack, but only to push his boyfriend's shirt up a little and slide his hands underneath it. Nick wrapped his arms around his torso and tried to curl up. His laughter was mixed with giggles and gasps and he had the biggest smile plastered to his face.
"Gohod! Pleease, Charlie it tickles so badly!"
Nick's pleading fell on deaf ears. Instead of slowing down, the younger smirked and rather sped it up, now quickly scribbling and spidering his nails up and down his boyfriend's sides. Nick squealed and threw his head back.
"Mehercy! Charlie please, slohow down!"
Charlie smiled softly and immediately obeyed. He stilled his fingers and began tracing random patterns across the other's stomach. The older's full laugh quieted down to gentle giggles and his previously tensed body slowly relaxed. Charlie snickered and bent down to peck him, eventually stopping the tickling.
"You're so adorable."
Nick grinned up at him. "Does that mean I am forgiven for not taking your murder threats seriously?", he asked with a cheeky undertone. Charlie gave him an are-you-serious look and moved his hand behind his back to squeeze his boyfriend's thigh a couple of times, which made the latter flinch and burst into a surprised stream of laughter.
"Fine fine I take it back! You are a threat that is to be taken very seriously, I got it!", he shouted through his chuckles. Charlie gave his thigh a final squeeze before snuggling up to his boyfriend who smiled softly.
"I am without doubt, at least for someone who is so damn ticklish."
A/N I think I wrote this thing half-way backwards, always jumping from part to part, at like six a.m. :]
But anyways, I hope you enjoyed it!

hey guys! this is the first piece of writing im gonna post here. it’s for @heartstopperdrabbleblog, and the word prompt is “relax”. enjoy!
Relax
It was the last day of the form. A-Levels were done. And Charlie Spring was EXHAUSTED.
All of the studying of useless facts, all of the mind-numbing toiling over textbooks, had turned his brain to mush. His dad had given him a ride to Nick’s, but he could barely even focus on his boyfriend at this point. He was just glad Nick had a beach blanket and a soft back lawn, because that’s where he lay now, hoping his mind would eventually slow down.
“Hey.”
Charlie looked up to see Nick sitting next to him, a warm, familiar smile on his face. He already felt his mood improving, despite his exhaustion. “Hey.”
“Tired?” Nick asked.
Charlie sighed. “Yeah. I really am.”
“Mind if I join you? I’m tired too, after this week.” Both boys chuckled wryly. Exam week tended to take its toll on them.
“I don’t mind at all. I never mind,” said Charlie, grinning.
Nick giggled at his words and laid down in the spot next to his boyfriend. It really did feel good to lay flat on his back after being hunched over an exam for hours. So did the heat beating down on him.
“God, why are exam rooms always so cold?” said Nick.
Charlie laughed. “I know, right! Like it’s not enough to test us on heaps of weirdly specific material. We also have to narrowly avoiding freezing to death to pass the term!”
The two rolled with laughter. After catching their breath, Nick looked up at the sky. He pointed to a passing cloud.
“That one looks like you,” said Nick.
“What?” Charlie laughed, a bit surprised by the odd comparison.
“No no it does! See, the little wispies on the top, they’re like your curls. And…and the little spaces in the sections of the clouds are your dimples!”
Charlie was in a fit of giggles by the time Nick mentioned his dimples. “I don’t see anything!”
“Maybe I’ve finally gone mad,” said Nick with a chuckle.
Charlie cupped Nick’s chin, capturing him in an adoring gaze. “Or maybe you’re so in love with me you see me eeeeeverywhere…”
“Shut up!” Nick teased, a blush creeping across his face.
After the laughter had died down, the two continued to lay there on Nick’s beach blanket, staring at the sky.
Charlie turned his head in Nick’s direction. “I’m so glad I get to just relax with you now,” he said.
Nick smiled. He scooted over a bit and gave Charlie a peck on the cheek. “Me too.”
Nick interlaced his fingers with Charlie’s, and Charlie snuggled into Nick’s shoulder. Gradually, they both dozed off, enjoying a well-earned nap.
the end! thanks for reading! i may write a tara x darcy one with a different prompt after this :) have a nice day!

From Heartstopper Ao3's 99 Moments of Joy countdown to season 2. (Transferred here due to Ruzzian DDOS attack)
91 Days: Up to Something
It was around May that Charlie began to suspect that Oliver was up to something.
The first time was when Charlie went upstairs to tell Olly that it was dinner time. He took a few steps into the bedroom, only to see a curly-haired missile hurl itself against him. Before he could say anything his little brother was pushing him back with all his strength.
“You can’t come in here!” Olly exclaimed. Charlie stepped back and Olly shut the door behind him. Charlie looked down perplexed.
“Why not?” Charlie asked.
Olly rolled his eyes. “Privacy, of course,” he replied. Then he took off and pounded down the stairs to the dining room, leaving Charlie rather nonplussed. For a moment he was tempted to peek inside and see just what it was that made Olly want to keep him out so badly. Then he decided better of it and followed his little brother down the stairs.
The second time was when Olly returned home from school. Charlie and Nick were snuggled together on the sofa, watching a sweet and wholesome new Hulu drama about these two gay American boys who fall in love in high school, when the warble of Olly’s voice drifted into the room from outside.
“...from Mrs. Keaton’s art room. I picked yellow and blue, and I think the yellow is going to be the stripes, so -”
Olly pushed the door open, Dad trailing behind. The moment Olly stepped into the room he froze, eyes wide, and stared for just a moment at Charlie and Nick.
“I’m going to be in my room, so no one bother me!” Olly said, and took off up the stairs, the straps of his bookbag trailing behind him. It might have been Charlie’s imagination, but he could have sworn something was sticking out of the top.
"What was that about?" Charlie asked.
Nick shrugged. "Teenage angst?"
"He's eight!"
Charlie looked over at his father. "Is there someone going on with Olly?" he asked.
Dad shrugged. "I suppose that's for him to know and you to find out," he said. He padded into the kitchen.
"What does that even mean?" Charlie asked after him. He received no answer.
The next time was when he saw Olly coming out of his room. He had his hand under his shirt, almost as if he was hiding something.
“Olly,” Charlie said, “what were you doing in my room?”
Olly froze. “I was… looking for the Switch,” he answered.
Charlie opened his door. He looked inside. Then he looked at Olly.
“The Switch is on the shelf where it always is,” he said with narrowed eyes.
Olly rolled his eyes. “Well I didn’t see it,” he said with a tone of prepubescent exasperation.
Charlie narrowed his eyes. “What have you got there?” he asked, indicating the hand that was still under Olly’s shirt.
“Nothing!” Olly insisted. With a smirk Charlie lunged for his brother. Olly dodged and managed to swerve around him. Charlie overbalanced and rolled over, narrowly avoiding hitting his head on the wall, and Olly dashed down the hall to his room, slamming the door shut. Charlie could hear the sound of scraping, as if a chair were being propped up against the door to block it.
Hearing the commotion, Tori poked her head out of her room.
“Is something going on with Olly?” Charlie asked her. Tori remained silent, simply raising an eyebrow.
“He’s been acting very strange lately,” Charlie continued, “and he won’t say anything about why.”
Tori continued to remain silent, though a glint had crept into her eyes.
“Victoria,” Charlie said, now somewhat scandalised, “You know something, don’t you?”
His sister made no move to confirm or deny this.
“Well what is it?” Charlie asked, “What’s going on with Olly?”
Tori simply smiled enigmatically. “I’m sure you’d like to know, Charles,” she replied, before slinking back into her room.
The mystery of what Olly was up to seemed like it would never be solved. A few days later Charlie, Tao, Elle, Aled, and Nick were watching a film in the lounge when Olly entered the door, Mum right behind him. Something square and boxy was very clearly hidden under his shirt, the outline clearly visible as Olly held it up by the hem.
“What are you smuggling in?” Charlie asked.
Olly fixed him with a weary, supercilious look. "Charlie, if I were smuggling something in, why would I be stupid enough to smuggle it under my shirt?"
"I never said anything about your shirt," Charlie replied, satisfied that he'd finally caught his little brother in a lie.
Olly's eyes widened. He froze for a moment.
"Don't ask questions you don't want the answer to!" he said, and took off up the stairs yet again.
"I do want the answers!" Charlie called after him. Nick had collapsed into giggles behind him. Tao and Elle snickered to themselves, while Aled just looked confused.
Charlie turned to his mum. "What is Olly up to?" he asked.
Mum's only reply was to smile enigmatically; it was an expression that looked very Tori-like. "You'll find out soon enough," she said.
Charlie was beginning to despair of ever learning the reason for Olly’s odd behaviour. It was June, and their “thirdaversary” was coming up, so-called because he and Nick could never decide between the day they met, the kiss at Harry’s party and/or the kiss in his bedroom the next morning, or their beach date as their proper anniversary. Charlie was beginning to think maybe he was imagining things - maybe he was going mad, even. He was certain that the photo booth pictures of him and Nick from their beach date had gone missing from their spot in his bedside table, but when he looked for them for the ninth time there they were, tucked away right where he left them.
When he saw Olly rummaging around in the bin in the kitchen clearly trying to push something to the bottom, he didn’t even bother asking what he was up to. He just walked past him, grabbed his meal plan from the shelf over the sink, and began preparing his usual Monday breakfast. In the reflection of the stainless steel he could see Olly back out of the kitchen, keeping an eye on Charlie until he was out of sight.
When he heard an exasperated “Oliver!” from Mum, he didn’t even look up from his maths revision. GCSEs were coming up, and he had better things to do than wonder what Olly had done to set Mum off, or why the vacuum was running in his brother’s room, haphazardly at first as someone (Olly, most likely) tried to push it across the floor, then with an irate huff Mum grabbed ahold of it and hoovered up whatever it was herself.
The day of the anniversary of their beach date, he and Nick had a plan to go to the milkshake stand, just the two of them. After that they were going to go back to Nick’s (Sarah inexplicably had a girls’ night planned and was planning on spending the night at a friends’ rather than drive back) and Nick had promised that he would do That Other Thing, which he had read about after a late night of Googling and was excited to try out, since That One Thing had been such a hit.
He greeted Nick with a kiss. Nick decided that wasn’t enough and scooped Charlie up, spinning him around before setting him back on the ground, giggling.
“Your chariot awaits,” Nick said, gesturing grandly.
Charlie snorted. “Can you really call a used Fiat a chariot?”
“Oi,” Nick chided, “I don’t see you with a drivers licence.”
“Fine,” Charlie chuckles, “let’s hope Bucephalus doesn’t die before we get there.”
“Bu-what?” Nick asked, nose scrunched.
“Alexander the Great’s horse,” Charlie explained.
“Isn’t that Rocinante?”
“That’s from Don Quixote.”
“Well then,” Nick replied, “I’m pretty sure the windmills are waiting for us.”
They turned to leave, only to turn at the sound of feet pounding down the stairs.
“WAIT!” Olly called after them.
He skidded to a halt in front of them, holding something behind his back.
“You can’t leave without this!” he exclaimed, holding something out to them.
It was a card.
It was the most over-engineered card Charlie had ever seen.
It was a card made from blue cardstock with yellow stripes glued onto it. A white rectangle had been glued overtop that, and the words “Happy Aniversery!” were spelt out in quite a lot of blue glitter. The entire thing was trimmed in even more glitter, and little gold firework stickers studded the front and the back.
Olly beamed up at them.
“Open it,” he said.
Nick took it from him and opened it. As he did so, a pop-up unfolded, which appeared to be a blown-up version of one of the pictures they had taken in the photo booth at the beach, cut out and glued to more cardstock. The entire thing when closed had to be a little over half an inch thick.
With the background cut out, the pop-up showed Charlie sat on Nick's lap, Nick kissing Charlie on the cheek. Both of them were blushing very brightly.
"Is that why you were in my room?" Charlie asked with an indulgent smile.
Olly nodded. "I had to wait ages for you to be gone so I could grab it," he complained, "you're always in there."
Charlie saw the inside of the card was peppered with stickers of falling leaves. Written in yet more glitter were the words “Nick and Charlie,” on one side, and “In any universe,” on the other.
“Olly,” Nick said, “I can see you worked very hard on this,”
“So do you like it?” Olly asked with wide eyes.
Charlie crouched down to Olly’s level. “Best anniversary present ever.”
Olly’s face fell. “But you haven’t gotten any other anniversary presents!”
That wasn’t true, strictly speaking - That One Thing was an early anniversary present, according to Nick, but Charlie wasn’t about to tell Olly that.
Charlie cupped the back of Olly’s head. “Yeah,” he said, “But I already know it’ll be better than anything else.”
“You can’t know that,” Olly objected, “Someone might get you a car or a dolphin or a rocket ship or something.”
Charlie laughed. "Come here, you.” Olly stepped forward into Charlie's arms and Charlie picked him up, holding him like a baby. Then suddenly he felt himself rising into the air with a yelp as Nick in turn picked him up. Olly giggled while Charlie’s face turned extremely red (Nick was wearing a vest that put his strong rugby arms on display, and his muscles were extra-rippley with the effort of picking up Charlie and an 8-year-old at the same time.) Nick kissed him on the cheek.
He set the both of them down.
“Do you like it, Nick,” Olly asked, looking up at him.
“Best anniversary present ever,” Nick said, “just like Charlie said.”
Olly beamed. Then a shadow crossed his face.
“But I only made one, and I gave it to both of you,” he said. “I didn’t think of that. And you can’t cut it in half like they did to that baby in the story from Grandma’s church, because then the pop-up won’t work.”
“I think it should stay in Charlie’s room,” Nick replied, “That way I’ll have a reason to come over.”
“Hey!” Charlie objected, punching Nick lightly on a well-muscled shoulder.
Olly nodded. “That makes sense,” he agreed, “Plus, it’s really nice when you come over, because then I have someone I can beat in Mario Kart.”
“Oi!” Nick objected. Charlie chortled.
The two of them stood up. “Well,” Charlie said, “shall we go?”
Nick nodded. “It was nice seeing you, Olly,” he said, “Thank you so much for the card.”
They were getting into Nick’s beat-up yellow fiat when Olly poked his head out the door.
“I almost forgot,” he called, “there’s a secret message in it, too.”
Charlie examined the card, turning it over in his hands. He noticed that on the back of the pop-up there was a bit cut out on three sides, and it bulged slightly. Opening it, he found a folded sheet of notebook paper. In Oliver’s looping scrawl, there was a note.
Dear Charlie and Nick,
Charlie, you’ve always been a really great big brother, but sometimes it seemed like you were sad and you were pretending you weren’t so you wouldn’t make other people sad, too. Then you met Nick, and you fell in love with him, and you seem a lot happier now, even when you had to go away for a while to get better.
Nick, you’re like having an extra brother, which is really cool, because that means I have two brother and a sister, and that’s more than anyone else in my class. Also you make Charlie happy, even when he’s really sad or not eating or has to go away to get better, and that’s good. I’m sorry your dad isn’t around a lot, and it seems like you and your brother don’t get along a lot, which is sad, because I know I’d be really sad if I didn’t get along with Charlie and Tori. I think Charlie makes you happy, too, though.
I’m really glad you met each other, and I can’t wait for you to be together forever and ever and get married and get a house with loads of dogs and I can visit the dogs while I’m an astronaut or whatever job I’ll have as a grown-up. I love you both loads.
Love,
Oliver.
Charlie’s vision blurred, and he wiped his eyes. Nick looked over at him concerned, but Charlie simply smiled and leaned his head on Nick’s shoulder. He stayed that way all the way to the cafe. He was with his person, the one he’d find in any universe, and all was right with the world.
P.S.: Nick actually properly cried when he read the note.
P.P.S.: It turns out Charlie really liked That Other Thing.

HEARTSTOPPER | GN! Siblings with Nick Nelson | Headcanons |
A/N - Obviously not romance so nobody make it ʷᵉⁱʳᵈ
Tumblr media
🍓 Obviously you two would fight over who gets to cuddle with Nellie that night, but ultimately Nellie would pick you.
🍓 If you're the older sibling, he would totally ask you for a ton of relationship advice (even if you haven't been in one yet).
🍓 He would be SO protective if you ever got a partner but he would love them anyways because he loves you.
🍓 Nick would probably get mad at you for stealing Charlie's attention whenever he comes over.
🍓 Both of you guys would secretly text at the dinner table when David's there because he's gross, and you would be holding your laughter when he makes a snarky comment of everything David says.
🍓 Nick would be very mad at you for stealing his clothes, but then would turn around and steal yours.
🍓 Claims that he NEVER ate the last pizza roll (he did).
🍓 If you're younger, he'd help you with school (not maths), but if you're older he'd ask for your help (with maths).
🍓 Nick would make sure you NEVER get picked on at your school.
🍓 He would probably rant to you about Charlie all the time, who really cares if you're actually listening?
🍓 Nick is literally your biggest cheerleader, he supports everything you do (unless it's like horrible B3n type stuff) .
🍓 Nick is totally the type of sibling to complain about you being annoying, and then get mad at anybody who agrees with him.
🍓 Nick feels legally obligated to spam you with every meme he sees and then will get upset if you don't watch them.
🍓 You'd probably have some secret code language together that your guys' mom begs to be a part of (she's never getting let in on it).
- - -
Okay guys! That's all for today! I'm sorry I haven't uploaded in like... forever. Life's really busy sometimes, but you've gotta do what makes you happy! Hope you enjoyed this, please send in requests, it's so much easier to write that way!!

A lucky guy
For Day 3 of promptober, and the prompt "Lap Pillow" for @flufftober
Title: A lucky Guy fandom: Heartstopper Pairing: Nick Nelson & Imogen Heaney Summary: Imogen falls asleep using NIck as a pillow Word Count: 100
Also on AO3!
Nick couldn’t believe how lucky he was. He had an amazing boyfriend, a loving mum, good grades in school and a passion for rugby, plans for the future, and a great group of friends.
One of which was currently sleeping on him, using his lap as a pillow. Their extended friend group had reunited at his’ before the end of the summer. It was currently 2am, and a few only were surviving. Imogen wasn’t one of them. Nick chuckled before accepting a glass of water from Charlie and replacing a lock of hair behind Imogen’s ear.
Yeah, Nick was lucky.

elle and charlie - the art room
the bell rung, signifying lunch. charlie sighed and headed to the art room, his usual lunch spot. since people found out he was gay, he’d been bullied. badly. but mr ajayi’s room was a safe space, a quiet space, where he could escape the bullying. just for a little while. and he’d made a friend, too.
a couple weeks ago, a girl started to sit in mr ajayi’s room to finish her painting. on the fourth day, charlie realised that it would probably be a permanent thing and therefore pushed all anxiety out of his mind and decided to strike up conversation with her. “your painting’s… beautiful,” charlie said, walking up to her.
“oh, thank you! it’s not much but i’m pretty proud of it. it’s charlie, right? i’m elle!”
“that’s a nice name. mind if i take a seat here?” he stood behind the chair next to her.
“go ahead!” so he did. he sat down, and talked to elle about art and school subjects and how shitty bullies are. elle was trans, so she’d experienced her fair share of bullying too. the bell rang, telling them that they needed to go to their next period. “it was nice talking to you! see you here tomorrow,” elle smiled at charlie as they left the art room.
“see you tomorrow,” he smiled back.
since their first interaction, it became habit to sit together, charlie talking to elle whilst she pored over her painting. for the first time in a while, charlie felt excited for something. and that, he thought, was definitely a good thing.
just a little story about elle and charlie meeting in the art room! i hope you like it :)

For the event, I love the hc that Nick has such a ticklish tummy. It just always keeps him in a stream of happy giggles and Charlie absolutely loves it. 💖 Raspberries/Kisses on his stomach kill him though- Charlie takes advantage of that all the time because he also knows how much Nick loves hates it 😌 Hope you’re doing well and take all the time you need! 💖
Headcanons To Dabbles: Officially CLOSED!
*sobs* Nick and Charlie!!! On my god, I love them so much!!! These two are beyond adorable, so any chance I get to write for them is a good day! I've gotcha covered, friend! :D Have a great day and take care! :3
CW: Mentions of weight and weight loss, body image
“I’m getting kinda chubby.” Nick mused out loud one afternoon, patting his belly as he laid beside his boyfriend. “Maybe I should start doing sit ups.”
“Nooo!” Charlie gasped out, throwing himself across Nick’s torso protectively. “I love your chub! It’s so soft and squishy!” He buried his face in it, nuzzling about and making Nick squirm. “I mean- if you really want to trim up, I support you- but I’ll miss you being all cuddly!”
“Ahehehehehhee! Mahahhaybe I’ll stahahhahay like this for awhihiihihle!” The blonde giggled out, gently pushing at Charlie’s shoulders as the other continued pressing his face against his skin, easily nosing his shirt out of the way. “Cahhahahhaharlie, coohohohme on! Stahhahahap thahhahhahat!”
“Do you really want me to stop?” He asked, waiting for a proper answer. When none came, he grinned, going back to nuzzling, adding a few kisses in between. “Thought so! You love it when I tickle you here, don’t you? I know I love it- you get all giggly and blushy!”
“Lihiihiihhike yohooohohohu dohoohohohoho?” The bigger boy wheezed out, all but squealing when Charlie blew a raspberry. “Chahahhaharlie! Chahahhaharlie, I’m shahahaharry! I tahahahahake it bahahhack! I taahhahake it bahahhaack- Gehahahahahahaha!”
“That’s what I thought!” Charlie laughed against him, stopping his tickles to give his boyfriend a much needed break. “You’re so ticklish here! How did I not know this sooner?”
“Ahehehe…hehehe…probably cause I’m always tickling you before you get a chance.” Nick laughed, pulling Charlie up by his jumper. Really, he should say his jumper, given how much Charlie loves borrowing them. Once he was close enough, he kissed him. “Hello there.” He smiled when they pulled away.
“Hello to you too.” Charlie giggled, cheeks pink and eyes warm. He tucked himself against Nick’s chest, snuggling in for another hour or so of cuddles. “Really though- whatever you want to do with your body, I support it. I just don’t want you to feel like you have to get trim. I love you just the way you are.”
“Pfft- thank you.” Nick laughed, playing with his hair. “We’ve got a while until Rugby starts up again. Enjoy my chub while you can, Char.”
“Oh I definitely will.” Charlie nuzzled his chest, giggling when he felt Nick shake with mirth beneath him.

Older Sister Magic
Fandom: Heartstopper (Charlie, Tori, Nick)
Summary: Tori teaches Nick how to deal with Charlie when he has too much energy in a way only an older sister could.
Content warnings: tickling, mild swearing
A/N: I wrote this fic while I was reading Solitaire (a book by the writer of Heartstopper Alice Oseman with Tori as the main character) and I think I based the characters more on the way they were presented in the book than in the series. But it's no problem if you haven't read the book, you'll still be able to follow :) I just wanted to clarify that.
Tori slowly exhaled when Charlie let out the millionth teasing remark that day. He seemed to be in a particularly excited mood today - which meant he had to find ways to release his energy. And lovingly taunting his sister turned out to be one of them.
Tori turned her head and directed her look at her brother's boyfriend, who was sat on the floor beside her. "Okay, now listen up Nicolas. This is how you deal with one Charles Spring whenever he gets his moods: watch and learn."
Charlie's expression switched from confused to panicked as soon as his older sister lunged - actually lunged, Jesus Christ, we're talking about Tori here - at him and pressed his back into the sofa cushion. He gasped and immediately raised his hands for protection.
"Victoria NO, don't you dahare-"
She only had to wiggle her fingers at her brother for him to burst out giggling. "Please dohon't!"
Nick observed the whole thing unfold with great interest. Of course he'd known that Charlie was ticklish, the two had had their fair share of tickle fights over the past months. But what surprised him were his boyfriend's reactions. Whenever Nick had tickled him, he'd usually just let it happen. He'd obviously always tried to win back the upper hand, but pleading had always only been his last resource. However, right now Charlie was basically begging although Tori hadn't done a thing yet.
"How is he already in a state like this when you haven't even touched him yet? I've maybe managed to make him beg for mercy once, and that was after tickling him for minutes", Nick exclaimed, eyes jumping from Tori to Charlie and back. Tori shrugged and grinned.
"Older sister magic. I won't deny that you know Charlie very well, but there are things that only years of experience can teach you. How to tickle the living hell out of your younger brother to punish him for being a massive pain in the neck, for example."
Charlie looked like he was losing his mind, he squirmed and weakly pushed at his sister's hands, although they were still just hovering above him. Streams of anticipatory giggles were pouring out of him.
"Nick plehease, please help me! Don't let her!", Charlie pleaded desperately and with his best puppy eyes. Tori poked his stomach which made him flinch and let out the softest whine. Nick couldn't remember ever having had such a fond smile on his lips. He shook his head and chuckled.
"I'm sorry Charlie, but I was told to watch and learn. And one shall never miss the opportunity to educate oneself further." Charlie's laughter made it evident that he didn't mean the "Screw you!" he blurted out seriously. However, Nick decided to continue his act and gasped dramatically.
"Screw me? Charles Spring, how dare you! I would have stayed on neutral ground, but this demands action. In fact, I think I'll offer my help to someone else." Charlie's eyes widened when Nick made his way towards them and, before he had time to react, grabbed his wrists and pinned them left and right of his head. Tori smirked while Charlie panicked.
"No no no wait, let go- Victoria no, stop- ahaha stohohop it! Plehease!"
Charlie squeezed his eyes shut and tilted his head back while laughter poured out of him. Tori's fingers were scribbling and prodding at his upper ribs, right below his exposed underarms. As if that wasn't enough to drive Charlie mad, she placed her hands on his arms, just below the elbows, and let them travel downwards. And whenever she'd crossed his armpit and had reached his ribs again, she changed direction and traveled upwards again. Her touches were light, so light in fact that Charlie's laughter had died down to soft, high-pitched giggles. But the softness of the sensations had Charlie in constant anxiety of it getting worse, so his nerves were completely on edge and he was twitching and squirming constantly.
"You are so mehean!", he spluttered through his giggles. Tori raised her eyebrows.
"Oh sure, we are mean. Let me remind you who was pestering everyone all day long: surprise, that was you." She stressed the last four words with a poke to Charlie's tummy for every word, making him giggle uncontrollably. Then she paused, just long enough to give him a false sense of security, before she continued the poking, wandering from his stomach to his sides to his ribs and back again.
Nick couldn't help but burst out laughing at his boyfriend's reaction - squeals, high-pitched giggles and shakes of the head - and he felt his heart flutter at the sight.
"And I seriously thought you couldn't get any more adorable. Turns out all it takes is a little older sister magic." He and Tori exchanged a look and it was just full of shared love and fondness for the laughing boy beneath them.
"Shut uhup! I will- ahaha Gohod, Vic- Tohori quihit it, I'm going to die", Charlie gasped when his sister focused her attack on the part of his ribcage where his sides met his back. He was positively shaking with laughter by now and constantly tried to free his wrists, but he didn't really have any strength left to effect something. Tori made him squeal by pinching his lowest rib.
"You know the rules, dear brother. First you apologize, then you can beg. Because it falls on deaf ears if you do it before saying sorry." She did halt her attack a few seconds later though, because Charlie hadn't responded and his laughter had been on the verge of turning silent. Nick felt relieved to see her do that. It showed him that while she knew exactly how to exploit her brother's ticklish weakness, she also recognized when it became too much. She'd never go too far. And she'd stop if he really needed her to, should he give her any signs of distress or discomfort.
But Charlie didn't give any of those signals. On the contrary, as soon as he'd caught his breath, he smirked at his sister. "Just to clarify, what exactly do you want me to apologize for? For pointig out your lacking skills at Mario Kart or for reminding you that diet lemonade isn't supposed to replace food just because it has the word diet in it?"
Nick snorted in a mixture of amusement and disbelief at his boyfriend's sass. Tori tried to keep her pokerface, but she had to bite back a smile. "Okay that's it. Knees."
While talking, she grabbed her brother's legs and lifted them until she could rest his calves on top of the sofa's backrest so that his legs were bent about ninety degrees. But she definitely had to fight to get and keep them there, because as soon as she'd finished talking, Charlie's eyes had widened and he'd started struggling and shaking his head.
"Nono I take it back, I take it back! I apologize, Victoria I'm sorry, I won't- No please dohon't, you know I can't take it!" Tori grinned and ran her hand through his messy hair. "Yes you can. And if not then I hope this will teach you not to bite off more than you can chew."
Charlie let his head fall back and looked up at his boyfriend whose smile appeared to be upside-down. "Nick please let me go, I'm sorry for teasing you", he asserted with an almost shy grin.
Nick bit his lip and remained silent for a moment. Then he clicked his tongue and nodded. "Alright."
And he let the younger's wrists go. Charlie didn't feel triumph or relief though. Something about this was off. But realization again hit too late, and Nick had already gone behind the sofa and grabbed his ankles, securely pinning them to the backrest. Tori chuckled with satisfaction.
"Uh-oh. Now someone's in trouble."
Charlie, to their surprise, didn't even try to fend them off. He just let his head fall back and covered his face with his hands. Soft, muffled giggles were already spilling out. "You two are the wohorst!", he exclaimed, but there couldn't be less malice and more affection in a person's voice. Nick couldn't help but melt right then and there. He would've kissed Charlie, but his position didn't allow that. So he squeezed his knee instead, snickering at the squeak it provoked.
"You mean the three of us, don't act all innocent now. I haven't forgotten the last time you were tickling the breath out of me and you didn't show me mercy then, either!" Charlie uncovered his face and smirked mischievously.
"Yeah I remember that. I'm still amazed by how high your voice can go when your neck is tickled." Nick pressed his lips together as he felt his face heat up, not able to hold eye contact. Tori snorted.
"Honestly, I'm not surprised he never has to beg you, if he can fluster you that easily he's basically won." Nick blushed even more, but he shot her a betrayed look.
"Shut up Tori! We're supposed to be on the same side!" She pulled up her shoulders in a defensive gesture. "Just saying! But let me point out something far more important: do you know why Charlie's legs are on the backrest?"
Nick looked a bit startled by the sudden change of theme. But Tori didn't wait for an answer. Instead she lifted one hand and slowly approached her brother's legs with it.
"You see, while his knees may be extremely ticklish, the true weak spot is right here." And she placed her hand on the back of Charlie's knee, which was exposed due to the nintey-degree angle of his legs. The touch alone was enough to make Charlie burst out laughing, but his laugh became louder and breathier once Tori began spidering her fingers all over the back of his knee.
"Ah Gohod! It's so bad it's so bahad, V-Victoria please!"
When the urge to move his legs away became too great to bear, he began drumming his feet on the cushions as Nick's grip didn't allow any bigger movement. He'd already tried to fight Tori off, but even without his arms being pinned it remained hopeless. Everything just got ten times worse when his lovely boyfriend decided to joing the attack by gently squeezing the front of his knee and thigh with one hand.
Charlie's body was shaking with laughter. Three hands simultaneously tickling the front and back of his knees and thighs were simply too much for him to stand. He gasped for air until he managed to form words.
"Please! Pleasepleaseplease quihit it! I cahan't-" Tori suddenly abandoned his legs and began tickling all over his upper body again. She was laughing happily while doing it. "Why Charlie? Does it tickle too much?"
Charlie didn't answer at first because he was just listening to his sister's laugh. It made him feel a great warmth. But then she slid her hands under his shirt to scribble over his bare sides and Charlie was done for.
"Dahamn it Tori! Yehes it DOES!"
"Hmm alright. I think I'm ready to hear your apology now. What about you Nick?"
Nick shook his head and laughed. "I've forgiven him a long time ago." Tori pretended to be sick. "Ew. You're so cheesy, loverboy."
She then stooped tickling her brother. "Alright Charles, this better be good." Charlie was busy gasping for breath and letting out residual giggles. His legs slumped down from the backrest and he lightly curled up. Once he'd calmed down enough, he turned on his back and outstretched his arms in an invitation for a hug.
"Sorry", he said, and there they were, his puppy eyes. Tori sighed. Then she rolled her eyes and shot Nick a glance. "Okay I take that back." Then, leaning down to hug her brother: "Fine, you're forgiven for your impossibly annoying behaviour."
Charlie giggled and let his sister pull him up into a sitting position, which made room for Nick to plop down on the sofa on his other side. They sat there in silence for a while, then Charlie said: "Should we play Mario Kart? I'm tired out now, so you might actually stand a chance to defeat me."
Tori cursed and her nimble fingers were back on Charlie's body before he could even blink, tickling him all over. Charlie squealed and leaned against Nick in an attempt to get as far away from his sister's hands as possible. "Listen up you brat, I'm the Mario Kart expert in this house, don't you ever dare question that. You won once because you set up Oliver to distract me and that's it. So as long as you can't defeat me in a fair fight you better keep your sassy remarks to yourself. Did you get that?"
"Yes I dihid, I'm sorry! I'm sorry, plehease stop tickling me!" Tori stopped and Charlie curled up in Nick's lap. The latter watched the two siblings with great fondness.
He stroked his boyfriend's hair until he'd calmed down, then he clapped his hands. "Okay. Let's go play Mario Kart, I need a lot more training before I stand a chance against either of you."
A/N I think this is my fave fic I've written so far, I would be very happy if you let me know what you think of it ^^
(and has anyone here read the book and got the inside jokes? :D)
