That yarn texture is genuinely one of my favorite things ever. I have yet to fully use that yarn because I don't even know what to do with it. Not enough for a sweater but that would be my ideal, I think.

Reo Mikage has tried damn near every single high end cologne on the market, yet he can’t for the life of him figure out which ones don’t make your head spin like crazy. In a bad way.
It’s an almost infuriating song and dance. He thinks he’s finally found the one on his way home from the store, raved about and recommended by his most trusted friends. “It’s foolproof,” they tell him, enabling him to drop the average Japanese citizen’s monthly salary on a full bottle of this stuff. “She’ll be all over you for sure.”
Their assurances ring loud and clear in Reo’s ears as he spritzes a few pumps of the perfume onto himself before he knocks on the door, his confidence soaring through the roof. There’s no way you won’t be able to resist him like this, coming home from work after hours apart and smelling like a million bucks.
You open the door for him as always, all smiles as he leans in for an open mouthed kiss, only to be left high and dry when you furiously shake your head and wriggle out of his hold as soon as you catch a whiff of his new perfume.
“Yuck,” you gag, pulling away from his bear hug with a grimace, nose wrinkling up at the stench of artificial fragrance lingering on his skin. “You smell weird.”
Reo frowns, tugging at the collar of his shirt and giving it a sniff. It smells normal, and the notes in the cologne are quite pleasant— he’s confused as to what you find so extremely repulsive. “It’s Christian Dior, baby.”
The palm of your hand comes up to cover your nose as you step away from your fiancé, even dodging his attempts to press a kiss to your cheek when he inches closer to you while stating simply “Well it smells nauseating.”
There are boxes upon boxes of full, practically unused perfumes and colognes that Reo has bought over the months due to this debacle, all shoved haphazardly and stored away in some closet in the house that he can’t remember. He’s been meaning to just fork them over to Nagi and maybe even Chigiri to save storage, though he’s not too sure that his friends will ever be able to use all of them up anyway. It’s well almost a lifetime supply at this point.
Reo’s search for the perfect scent that will make your heart sing is long and gruelling. He’s done countless forum quizzes on which scent he thinks you’ll like best, scrolled through all the recommendation reels he can, and has even asked for help from staff at his work. It’s a bit humiliating to say the least— watching the CEO of the Mikage Corporation stumbling from floor to floor, going around and asking every person who will give him the time of day (which to be fair, is most people) on what perfumes their spouse prefers they wear.
“What are you wearing?” You ask when he offers his wrist to you after another perfume haul, giving it a quick inhale before choking. “It’s so strong, I can’t think.”
Reo caps the bottle with a sigh, embarrassed and shrinking away as he tucks it back into its box. Another failed attempt, it seems. “Versace?”
“It’s awful.”
Hastily he pulls out another tester from the inside of his shopping bag, one of the freebies that the employee at the store gave him. She said it was a bestseller of theirs. “What about this one, baby?” He spritzes it a few times onto the skin of your wrist, rubbing it in with circular motions with the pad of his thumb before looking up at you with a hopeful glint in his eyes.
“Chanel?”
You inspect the skin momentarily, Reo’s heart is thrumming loudly in his chest. He’s been nervous before, but this feels like sitting on the edge of a cliff. You give the tester a preliminary smell, and Reo’s jaw dropped, in pure disbelief when you pull your wrist away almost immediately, disgust written all over your face. “No, no no.” You queaze, “This smells even worse than the others.”
Reo is absolutely dumbfounded. The receipts he carries for all his perfume purchases are starting to litter the space of his desks both at work and at home, strewn about in messy piles and seemingly mocking his pointless journey of trying to figure out what your tastes are.
It can’t be that you don’t like fruity scents, he’s tried all the mild and subtle combinations there are out there. Is it the stench of alcohol in the mixes that you hate?
Frustrated, Reo takes a shower to try and calm his mind, attempting to wash away the abhorrent smells of all the types of cologne you hate from the surface of his skin before your date tonight. He scrubs extra hard on his wrists and the expanse of his neck, the most common pulse points to put fragrance on. Part of it is anger management, ensuring that he doesn’t immediately flip every bottle of perfume over in your house until there’s glass covering each inch of your floors.
With all of the scents he piled onto his skin having been stripped away with reliable soap and running water, Reo sits on the edge of your shared bed in nothing but a towel, using another to dry his hair when you come slinking not too long after, closing the door behind you and making your way over to him eagerly. Your gaze is low, eyes half lidded as you lean on his shoulder, snuggling into it warmly. The affection is much welcomed by him, seeing as you practically try to avoid him every time he comes home with a new scent sprayed.
“Hi, sweetheart,” He greets you like normal, still a bit peeved and disappointed in himself all because he can’t nail your perfect scent down to a tee. His brows are knitted in deep concentration, towel still rifling through lavender tresses when he’s snapped out of his stupor by the realization of your hands creeping up his biceps, curling around his toned arm and pulling his almost naked form closer to you.
“You smell so good, baby.”
He’s frozen for a moment's notice, too nervous to move just in case he’s dreaming. “I— I do?”
You nod, pulling him in by the nape of his neck for a kiss. His eyes are blown wide at the sudden surge of brazenness and want from you before he melts into your touch like honey, letting you take the reins as you push him down onto your bed, straddling him and hovering dangerously close to the knot of his towel when you lean down to pull him into another hot and heavy make out.
Reo doesn’t understand it at all, still revelling in all of the attention and love he’s receiving when he pulls away from your lips breathlessly, a whine threatening to rip from both your throats. His face is flushed, wet bangs still sticking to his forehead, and your skin is hot and feverish to the touch in his palms.
“I’m so lost,” he whispers, flustered by how close your lips are to touching. Yours are soft and plump, kiss-bitten and barely grazing his with a coy smile.
“I like when you smell like this.” You confess, giving him another peck and pulling away before he can yank you down himself to finish the job. You’re too much of a tease. “Smells much better than those colognes.”
“I only took a shower, though . . . ?”
You scoff, like it was obvious all along. Because it was— except to your poor fiancé. “That’s the point, idiot.”
Reo doesn’t get it. His whole life, his family has placed great emphasis on maintaining appearance. His parents only used the most luxurious of scented products when going out, and encouraged him to do the same. “First impressions matter, Reo,” they told him, “especially when it comes to having a signature scent.”
But if this is what you, his future wife likes; all clean and natural, nothing synthetic or overdone, then he’s happy to appease you by however means necessary.
His towel feels tight around his waist, and his eyes are glazed over with checked hunger as he struggles to keep his hands from drifting down past your hips. Your own eyes swirl with ardent desire too, panting in sync with the beats of his chest as you lay atop him. He’s eager to continue from where you left off, wanting more of your searing and unbridled touch, and you don’t look like you’re about to let him go unscathed for the next few hours while he smells like this.
“But— but our date tonight, baby . . .”
“You own the restaurant. Figure it out, handsome.”

Thermosolar power plants are seen outside the city of Dunhuang, in northwest China. Also called “solar concentrators,” these plants use heliostat mirrors to focus the sun’s thermal energy on molten salt flowing through a central tower, which circulates into storage tanks and is used to produce steam and generate electricity. The larger circular array seen here is 1.7 miles wide (2.7 km), contains 12,000 mirrors and can displace 350,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions every year. Also seen in the bottom-right are parabolic trough collectors, another method of solar thermal collection.

The cycle is coming to a close, dark clouds heralding the arrival of deadly rain. Marbles panics a little - finding a shelter of her own is out of the question. There is no time to spare. She turns to the tribe elders and pleads to take refuge with them.
Tumblr media
They do not trust her... but the guest has merely started her work on the spears, and her services are still needed. Spike and Sage exchange rushed whispers, out of Marbs' earshot. Surely they won't let her die out here in the rain?
Indeed, they turn back to her to share the good news. The brown one waves their hand, inviting her to follow. "Come with us" they say, and not a minute too soon. The ground shakes under the weight of oncoming rain with a deafening rumble. Marbles is one of the last to come inside, the heavy shelter gate is closed right behind her. For all the destructive potential at her hands, they've decided she is worth the risk.
Tumblr media
The shelter is unlike any other she's seen before - tidy, furnished, well maintained. And big. So, so big.
Orange lanterns dot the ceiling, dimly illuminating the main entrance hall. From there, smaller corridors branch off to the storage and lodging areas. In the middle - a nice resting place for guests, with fabric mats on the ground and beautifully decorated pipes above. Marbles looks around to admire the view. From where she stands, the shelter looks like a maze.
There is a wall in the main hall that is fully covered in vulture masks. Some of them show cracks, circular holes where the spear had been skilfully lodged into a beast's head. Yet most of them are in perfect condition, good as new. Marbles wonders why they're displayed here, instead of being used for fending off other predators. Perhaps they're sold to other tribes, or the right to wear them must be earned first. One thing is certain - this merchant tribe is thriving.
The chief escorts the slugcat guest inside, and signs for her to wait in the common area. Marbles settles down on the cozy mats, waiting patiently for a sleeping cell to be assigned to her...

I just found your blog and im already OBSESSED 😍
Would I be able to request Ghost with a prek/kindergarten teacher? Maybe helping her make decorations for the classroom or building cubby’s for the classroom?
Thank you!
Sorry for the delayed response. Got caught up in uni work, but I hope you like it!
"Why is everything so tiny?" Simon nudged a rather small chair away from an equally as small circular table.
Because they're tiny. I am a kindergarten teacher after all. Everything is small because it promotes a better learning environment for the children. They're small, so having things in their size lets them experience things in the way an adult would." You bump the chair back into place with your knee and move to set the box down on one of the tables with a heavy thump
"I... guess that makes sense. Do you have a normal-sized chair I can sit in, preferrably Simon-sized so I don't get stuck in it?"
"I have my stool behind mt desk, but I'm going to be sitting on it to finish up some lesson plans. Which while zi work on those you'll be putting together paper chains to hang around my classroom. I need links of 100, as many as you can make before you run out of paper. Chop chop, mister." You clap your hands together and toss your hair over your shoulder as you walk toward your desk. You can hear Simon grumble behind you before you hear the creaking groan of him finding a seat in on of the tiny chairs. Consider yourself impressed it didn't break with his weight.
The rhythm of you typing away on your keyboard combined with the rustling of paper from Simon, it was relaxing in your classroom. Your classroom had a calming aura to it with its dimmed lighting and purple and green theme. You tried your best to not get distracted from your task, but seeing the tall and broad man sitting before you at a tiny kindergarten table using kiddie scissors to cut up strips of construction paper to glue together made you smile. You felt your heart melt at the thought this big man would do anything for you if you asked. Maybe you could convince him to play a tree in the play you wanted to host later in the year.
Distracted from looking at him, you barely notice him sealing the last of the steps together creating about 4 chains. He stretches his fingers and looks over his shoulder toward you with a glare, but you could see the hints of a smile in the same eyes. "I think that's the rest of them. Anything else you want me to do?"
You dart your eyes away back to your screen. Despite trying your best to not get distracted, you had lost your place within your work. You really needed to finish this up before class started up again the following week, so you glanced around the room to see what else he could do. Just your luck, but you spotted some boxes to the side that you had been meaning to put together for some years now. The cubbies had been in storage in your back closest for a while, you just kept putting them on the back burner. Better now than ever, you suppose. "You could out together those cubbies and line them up by the door. I have some screwdrivers in my desk. Not sure what you'd need."
Simon grunted in agreement and moved over toward your desk to retrieve the screwdrivers you pulled from your drawer. With a quick swipe, the tools were gone and Simon was off on a mission to put those cubbies together. Thankfully, he was working out of your direct line of sight so you wouldn't be distracted by the horrifically tight black T-shirt he wore as it stretched across his back as he moved.
Eventually, everything was finished up and you were thankful for the help, even though you did have to bribe Simon a bit. Though you believe he wanted to spend the day with you anyway considering he wasn't sure how long his leave would last. Regardless, you finally could mark those items off your to do list and worry about spending the next day relaxing in bed with Simon.

Collection of Overlords _ Part 4 = Requested
[Alastor x Soul Owner of All Overlords!Reader]
The (somewhat) Request (it's more of an ask of when this is gonna be out)
Part 1 — Part 1.5 — Part 2 — Part 3 — Part 4 (here) — Part 5 — Part 6 — Part 7 — Part 8 — Part 9  — Part 10 — Part 11 — Part 12 — Part 13 — Part 14 — Part 15 — Part 16 — Epilogue
Tumblr media
The reunion and meeting of the century, or perhaps even longer, was on the way. With you seated at the head and your hand-picked souls to the side of the table. To your left starting with the closest was Zestial and Carmilla, to your right should be Alastor but he remained standing by your side behind you so not counting his empty seat, you have Rosie then Zeezi
Now, opposite to you, on the other side of the table were the three Vees, with Vox at the center and the other two, Velvette and Valentino, on either sides
With a soft hum, you decided to change the setting a bit. You snapped your fingers and the long rectangular table changed to a circular one, everyone seated in more sophisticated armchairs catered to their unique forms. There were equal spacing between each of them as well, allowing you to see them individually. The room altered thanks for your spatial ability, making it bigger than what it was
You told Carmilla that she could keep your little table and the chairs once everything was over since you changed things without her knowledge. She was move than happy to accept your gift
Another snap of your fingers and everyone’s preferred drink appeared in front of them and some snacks were placed around the table. You welcomed them to drink and eat to their hearts’ content since it has been a while you had been with them all
“Before we begin… I hope it’s expected that you keep the knowledge I shared during this meeting to yourself, and not attempt to use it to your advantage for future purposes.” You warned with a heavily aura around you.
All your Overlords bowed their heads deeply as a sign of submission to your command and warning.
“Now, I’d like to start the meeting with the latest event I’m sure you all are aware of.” You announced, a hologram of the former Hazbin Hotel building appeared at the center of the table, “There wasn’t any request or orders from me, so I believe some rewards are in order.”
While your Overlords nodded in agreement to your plans, you placed your elbows over the surface of the table, plopping your chin on top of your intertwined fingers. You gave them a moment to recall their actions before you revealed your awardees.
“Carmilla Carmine.” You named your first.
“Yes!” Carmilla strengthened up even more as she put down her cup, folding her hands over her lap while her body was turned in your direction. “My Liege.”
“For your assistance in providing angelic weapons to the soldiers who bravely brought for the Princess’ cause without asking for compensation,” The hologram of the hotel shifted to the side to a territorial map of the Pride Ring, a particular land beside Carmilla’s current domain blinked, “You will be rewarded with an additional land. What do you want it to be for? Name it.”
Carmilla bowed her head as she requested, “If you’ll allow it…” At your silence and smile, she continued, “If I can have a research lab with a testing ground, and another storage unit.”
Your smile widened as your head tilted to the side, “Consider it done.”
Your knuckles knocked on the table. The hologram of that particular domain enlarged and two buildings formed on that land with streets and roads to connect it with Carmilla’s owning domains. Not even a second later, the building shook like an earthquake. Though on the outside, it was merely shaping into what the hologram projected
Things like these were not hard to do, at least, if they were you. You do things like these to reshape Hell into what the human population done in their advancement, that’s how the Pride Ring has been since human souls that are marked to go to Hell was the only Ring they are stay or go to. You do what you could to make the Ring more fitting for them
However, as none realized it was your doing, most would believe Hell’s landscape changes as natural as breathing. Something similar to the ‘mother nature’ concept. It’s enough to give you a good laugh, so you leave it be
Your souls were quick to realize the power they were dealing with. A being capable of shaping Hell without effort and mere thought, it was terrifying yet applaudable. Who would think they have such power? Not even Lucifer can do something of this level
Just think. What if you were to fight for real with your powers? Right now, you have been behind the scenes lurking. You have your Overlords to reign over certain domains and groups of demons. But what if you were to go to war?
Those under you were aware that you were powerful, yet they can’t measure how much so. They aim to please you not merely for the possibility of being rewarded, but to maintain what freedom you’ve given them and your favour
While they don’t outspokenly discuss it, they are aware of their standing within your Elites
“Next, Rosie.” You turned to the other side.
“Yes, Darling Liege?” Rosie smiled back with a wave, enjoying her cup.
“You’re very brave and noble to allow your Cannibals to go to war against the angels without worrying over the lack of training, you’re not even aware that there’d be angelic weapons provided for them to fight with.” You retold to everyone else of Rosie’s feat, “Very commendable.”
Rosie chuckled, covering her mouth with a shy schoolgirl with their crush, “Aww, you’re giving me too much credit. I didn’t even join the battle!”
You nodded in understanding, “Yes, I’m aware, so in addition to your town expansion, I’ll be paying a visit to Cannibal Town in the near future.” Your smile widened as you spoke, “I’ll provide your people a feast, you can bring everyone around.”
Rosie gasped with joy, unable to hold it up, she got up and came over to hug you tight. “Oh! My Liege! That’s wonderful!” She let you go while ranting on and holding onto you, “Everyone will be so excited to see you again!”
You’ve been wanting to deal with your screaming, pleading, and whining insects for some time. You only require the insects’ soul, their bodies worth nothing to you. Yet the large variety would make for a good feast for the Cannibals that oh so loved to devour the flesh of the demons like a pack of wolves
Your knuckles once again knocked on the surface of the table, Rosie’s town expanded and new buildings were built in an instant, mirroring the hologram on the table. A wave of weaker shakes came to them, though it was because Rosie’s place was farther away
Like your relationship with Carmilla’s daughters, you formed special bonds with the citizens of Cannibal Town. Though you had a good laugh when you realized they first tried to eat you out of fear from your mere unannounced presence. They were immediately immobilized and nearly wiped off the map if not for Rosie’s quick interference
It was understandable for you, since at the time, they barely had enough land to live in and it wasn’t like they were particularly strong demons. Think of a colony of ants, they were only the workers and there were no other demons apart from Rosie that they rely on for their continued survival in Hell
So when you came along with that dangerous aura around you, they had to act. Even if they die trying, at least Rosie could lead the other cannibals away. They were such interesting demons that you came back to greet them again
The quickest way to a cannibal’s heart was food and you had more than enough. Adding to the fact that you gave them homes to live in and a town as their own territory, you were more than reverended by Rosie’s people
“Last.” Your head turned over to Alastor, everyone looked over in suit. “Alastor, My Bloody Doe.”
“My Liege.” Alastor stepped forward and kneeled down to your side, staying below your eye level so you weren’t looking up at him. “And Saviour.”
“Not only have you been helping the Princess with her passion project, but you also battled against Adam, the first man and the extermination’s leader, bravely. For that, let’s fix something precious of yours.” You opened your hand for him to place his broken microphone crane in.
Alastor presented the two pieces to you and you took it near where it was cut in half. You pushed them together and sparks flew, in a blink of an eye, the crane was as good as new. The eye in the microphone opened and looked around. “Finally! I’m back!”
“Fixed and I added a bit of life to it.” You passed Alastor his reward, “You’ll find that it’ll be near impossible to break it now. Even if it’s broken, it will amend itself to be even stronger.”
Alastor bowed, his head even lower than before, “I’m undeserving of such a gift.”
“Yes, now sit down in your seat, would you?”
Everyone else watched in envy. It was no secret that Alastor was your favourite. They could tell by the title you allow him to address you by and the little nickname you have for him. They also understand why too
Alastor unknowingly cleared a number of weaker Overlords that refused to submit to you, not only removing them from your domain, but he also shared your interest in torturing those souls. Trapping them in his everlasting broadcast. He was the only one who kept the title the sinners gave him; The Radio Demon
While he didn’t start off with complete obedience and submission, his dedication and loyalty to you proved his worth later on. While others waited for your order in fear of appearing arrogant, he seized the opportunity to impress. It was after Alastor’s actions did the others became more active
Without a doubt, Alastor was the quickest you took a liking to. The quickest to gain an interest in and the quickest to raise up your favourability chart
When he disappeared for that long, as did your presence, the other Overlords wondered if there was something amiss. So they silently waited for Alastor to return to get in touch with you once more. As they waited, they got sloppy
A loud slam on the table made everyone turn their heads to the source. Vox, with a shaking fist, was standing up with a scowl on his screen, “Oh for f**k’s sake! He didn’t even win! He lost and retreated! He was a complete showoff and ignorant of his powers! He doesn’t deserve the Master’s praise and reward!”
Zeezi scoffed, folding her arms over her chest, “Like you’ve done f**k!”
Vox growled, turning to the giant Overlord, “You’re in the same boat!”
Zeezi smirked back, “Yeah, but unlike you f**k**, I’m fine with My Sovereign’s decision.” She gasped sarcastically, “Wait! You interrupted!”
“T wouldst doth thee both valorous if ‘t be true thee quiet down. (It would do you both good if you quiet down.)” Zestial warned the two before Vox could continue to embarrass himself.
Velvette got up as well, “You know when to talk when it suits you, don’t you, fossil?!”
Carmilla glared, “It was a word of advice!”
“Please! Like you’re any better.” Valentino taunted back with a grin, “You’re nothing without your little weapons.”
Rosie chuckled condescendingly, “Oh, dear, you’re one to talk. You can’t do much!”
Electricity sparked, Vox’s eye twitched, “You all shut the f**k up! You’re all ganging up on us just because you got numbers now!”
Velvette laughed along, “I bet you’re all a bunch of pussy cats! Can’t fight without guaranteed success.”
Valentino added, “I bet my soul I can take you all on and knock you down a few pegs.”
Crack!
Tumblr media
Note: And that's when Velvette knew... she [redacted] Hahahhahaha! This meeting is getting way too long I feel. But it's gonna end somewhere in the next part. Lucifer's gonna appear~ Any theories? Before that, how you think of this part???

tips on writing physically disabled (wheelchair bound) characters?
Writing Notes: Characters Using a Wheelchair
"Wheelchair/wheelchair-bound/confined to a wheelchair"
People who use mobility equipment such as a wheelchair, scooter or cane consider the equipment part of their personal space, according to the United Spinal Association.
People who use wheelchairs have widely different disabilities and varying abilities.
National Center on Disability and Journalism Recommendation: It is acceptable to describe a person as “someone who uses a wheelchair,” followed by an explanation of why the equipment is required. Avoid “confined to a wheelchair” or “wheelchair-bound” as these terms describe a person only in relationship to a piece of equipment. The terms also are misleading, as wheelchairs can liberate people, allowing them to move about, and they are inaccurate, as people who use wheelchairs are not permanently confined to them but are transferred to sleep, sit in chairs, drive cars, etc.
Other terms to use: “wheelchair user” or “person who uses a wheelchair.”
Wheelchair
A chair with wheels to help people move around.
Used by individuals who have impairments that limit their ability to walk.
Typically consists of a seat supported on two large wheels attached towards the back of the seat and two small wheels (castors) in front near the feet, a good braking system, footrests and a cushion. There are often small additional features to prevent toppling or to assist in mounting curbs.
The user moves by pushing with his/her hands circular bars on the outside of the large wheels, known as the hand-rim or push rings.
Tumblr media
Types of Wheelchairs
Based on variations in the basic design, there are many types of wheelchairs, with being highly customized to suit individual needs.
Manual wheelchairs are mostly propelled by the user. Other features such as foot/leg rests, front caster outriggers, adjustable backrests and controls can be added to the basic model. The seat size (width and depth), seat-to-floor height, seat angle (also called seat dump or squeeze) relative to the horizontal plane can be modified. Users who have specialized needs may opt for a custom-built wheelchair.
Attendant-propelled chairs are designed to be propelled by an attendant using the handles, and thus the back wheels are often rimless and smaller. These chairs are often used as ‘transfer chairs’ possibly within a hospital or airport to move a mobility-impaired person when a better alternative or a user’s standard chair is unavailable.
A rigid frame wheelchair is usually a non-folding type with a base of support on which the person sits. In some models, the backrest of the chair can be folded down, and the wheels have a quick release mechanism to enable easy transportation and storage.
A folding frame wheelchair is one whose frame is collapsible sideways by the use of an “X” mechanism in the frame. This mechanism is lockable, and the wheelchair folds on release of two locking levers on the chair.
A motorized wheelchair, power chair, electric wheelchair or electric-powered wheelchair is propelled by means of an electric motor rather than manual power. Motorized wheelchairs are useful for those unable to propel a manual wheelchair or who may need to use a wheelchair for distances or over terrain which would be fatiguing in a manual wheelchair. They may also be used by people with cardiovascular and fatigue-based conditions.
Interacting with People with Mobility Disabilities
Do not push or touch a person’s wheelchair/scooter without their permission – a wheelchair is part of the personal body space of the person.
Try to ensure there is space in your waiting room and your office for someone in a wheelchair or scooter to comfortably wait in their chair.
If you are speaking with a person who uses a wheelchair or a person who uses a mobility device for more than a few minutes, place yourself at eye level in front of the person to facilitate the conversation.
Writing about People with Disabilities
Words are powerful. The words we use and the way we portray individuals with disabilities matters. Below is a guide for portraying individuals with disabilities in a respectful and balanced way by using language that is accurate, neutral and objective.
Emphasize abilities, not limitations. Choosing language that emphasizes what people can do instead of what they can’t do is empowering.
Use language that emphasizes the need for accessibility rather than the presence of a disability. Examples: "Accessible" not "handicapped" parking; "Accessible" not "disabled" restroom
Portray successful people with disabilities in a balanced way, not as heroic or superhuman. Do not make assumptions by saying a person with a disability is heroic or inspiring because they are simply living their lives. Stereotypes may raise false expectations that everyone with a disability is or should be an inspiration. People may be inspired by them just as they may be inspired by anyone else. Everyone faces challenges in life.
Do not mention someone’s disability unless it is essential to the story It is okay to identify a person’s disability when it is necessary for clarity or provides important information. For instance, “Virali, who uses a wheelchair, spoke about her experience with using accessible transportation” is totally fine, since it adds a new layer to the story. In other instances, the disability may be irrelevant. For example, do not say, “Charles, who has a congenital disability, wants more sugar in his caramel espresso.”
Create balanced human-interest stories instead of tear-jerking stories. Tearjerkers about incurable diseases, congenital disabilities or severe injury that are intended to elicit pity perpetuate negative stereotypes.
In the 1990s, some health care and disability activists introduced the term “differently abled” as a substitute for the term “disabled.” While well-meaning, this term is euphemistic and works to avoid talking about a person’s disability in honest and specific terms (critics point out that in a pure dictionary definition, everyone is “differently abled”). Use of the term waned in the mid-2000s, and now many individuals in the disability community consider this term condescending or offensive.
Best Practices around Terminology for Disabilities
A foundational part of disability rights is using the right language and terminology to be respectful to members of the disability community. Here are a few best practices:
Avoid outdated terms. There are a number of terms for people with disabilities that are outdated, ableist, and potentially offensive to members of the disability community—terms include “differently abled” (and “the differently abled”), “handicapped”, “special needs” or “special education”, “wheelchair-bound” (as opposed to “is a wheelchair user”), and “cripple.” All of these terms have negative connotations, either because they serve as euphemisms or because they suggest that people with disabilities have a worse quality of life than people without; avoid these terms and replace them with more appropriate terms.
Consider how you describe nondisabled people. In addition to appropriate terms for people with disabilities, there are appropriate terms to use when describing people without disabilities. Avoid words like “normal,” “able,” “abled people,” or “able-bodied,” since these inappropriately suggest that those with disabilities are abnormal or do not have able bodies; instead, use language like “people without disabilities,” “nondisabled,” or “enabled.”
Learn whether to use “people-first” or “identity-first” language. Just as with any other group, people with disabilities are not a monolith. When talking about people with disabilities, remember that they are multifaceted human beings rather than an easily categorized group. To reflect this, opt to use person-first language whenever possible—for example, “a person with epilepsy” rather than “an epileptic person,” or “a person with blindness” rather than “a blind person”—to emphasize the individual and avoid letting their disability serve as their only defining quality. However, some communities prefer identity-first language over people-first language—for example, many people in the deaf community who use sign language prefer the term “deaf person” to the term “person who is hard of hearing,” and many people with autism prefer the term “autistic person.” Always use the individual’s preferred terms.
Refer to a person’s specific disability. Where relevant, avoid referring to people with disabilities as a homogenous group—the range of disabilities varies wildly, and individuals with disabilities have very different experiences depending on their condition and other factors. In addition, avoid the phrase “the disabled” and be careful when using broad terms like “cognitive disability” or “learning disability” when it would be more specific and appropriate to mention their exact condition. Instead, when discussing a person’s disability, use words that refer to their specific condition—for instance, as a person with ADHD—to respect their unique experience and needs.
Respect individual preferences. Individuals have different preferences when it comes to discussing their disabilities, and some people prefer particular terms over others—for example, many people with dwarfism prefer the term “person of short stature” or “little person.” Learn the individual preferences of the people around you to use their preferred terms.

Thanks for the question, learned some new things from these notes as well. Hope this helps with your writing!
EDIT 1:
Ambulatory wheelchair users
Individuals who, despite having the ability to walk short distances, rely on wheelchairs for mobility due to various health conditions.
Can walk but need wheelchairs for longer distances or when experiencing fatigue. Conditions like multiple sclerosis, arthritis, or other mobility-impairing diseases often necessitate this dual mobility approach.
Many ambulatory wheelchair users report being judged, stigmatised or accused of faking their disabilities to cheat their way into support.
EDIT 2:
"Helping me without permission is disrespectful. I understand how to stay safe, and I am not a pawn to advance the agenda of others."
"I’ve discovered that the greatest fear that keeps people from traveling is the thought of a damaged wheelchair"
"The earlier you inform airlines of your plans to travel with a power wheelchair, the more time they will have to prepare."
