I made a coding infographic/slideshow for anyone getting into coding and are stuck! I'm seeing a lot of new codeblr blogs coming up recently and they're all beginners and I have been getting a lot of asks which basically all ask "I'm new to coding, how do I start?", so I decided to make this at 1am in the morning real quick! 🥲😭

Welcome to me catching up on a project I’ve been way behind on. Had to get some (lots) progress in now, bc istg if I’d spend Midsummer stressing over this. 

The plan was to pull an all-nighter but that kinda failed, but anyways. here’s how that went. (readmore bc I kinda got carried away with it lol oops)

20:49 - started by getting the most important things in order: caffeine buzz, the right playlist (that ended up being a weird mix of BTS, HIM and 80s-90s music) and also a clear-ish to do list

23:50 - got distracted for like an hour oops, back to work

00:42 -  have only managed to find more bugs and not fix even one yay <3 things are going aCcoRdiNg tO pLaN

01:00 - fixed a bug! small one but finally progress :) now onto the ones that actually goddamn matter ugh

02:16 - i hate everything but the playlist is full of bangers actually, so i’m powering through with that as my emotional support

03:25 - i hate everything ^2 and am in my feels rn and why tf is nothing working ????? IT SHOULD motherfucker

03:47 - i am giving up <3 there’s one fucker of a bug i’ve been working on for fucking ever and i am just stupid and im gonna try to nap now even tho i’ve had enough caffeine to kill a small horse

04:29 - just now actually giving up bc thought i had a solve but didn’t and just wasted more time yay i hate coding

04:52 - nevermind too stressed & caffeinated to give up now

05:34 - actually nah fuck this, i’m trying to get a lil nap in finally. Things just still aren’t working and im hella tired

12:29 - ””a little nap”” my dudes,,, i just woke up now goddamnit

13:23 - new try at this, better get it done (running out of time, i’m stressed)

14:42 - FFFUUUCK YYYEAH BABEYYYY !!! I love coding and I am a genius actually (I got it to work)

15:30 - going for a walk & the grocery store bc need to go outside

18:20 - back to work babes

20:03 - the code is basically done! Now just the mf boring part of writing tests & documentation oopsy (that I ofc just have left for me to do as the last step bc i’m dumb)

21:04 - some testing & couple weird sentences for documentation got done but might call it a day tbh, i’m getting distracted every 3 seconds

23:00 - I did call it a day, and now a chill run bc need something to reset my brain bc i’m in that “gotta get things done” state of mind and like the only thing to get done now is to try to get myself to sleep before like dawn hopefully

Conclusion: was uncharacteristically productive (focused on coding for 10.5h in this abt 1-1.5 days) and i’m feeling veery good abt it. sorry for the long post tho lol

How to learn: HTML | Resources ✨

I have come back with a new resource I've made! This time about how to learn HTML! I'm starting from the basics right now and working my way up of 'how to learn' info resources!😅

I've made a HTML resource in the past (one | two) but this one is a bit more detailed and has tips of how I studied HTML. I use HTML on the daily so though I would share my knowledge with more people. Again, just like my previous resource "Starting your coding journey", this is more targeted towards absolute beginners or for people who want to learn how to customise their Tumblr blog/Neocite! 👩🏾‍💻

Had a really productive day today!!! I finally understood flipfops and I've been struggling with them since day 1. My exams got postponed to the 15th of July which means I have more time to study. Things are looking good :)
