Hey, here's an idea, "Avatar (the last airbender) fans". Maybe people are making these changes to the live-action because it either...makes SENSE(gasp!) or maybe the show wasn't as perfect as you THOUGHT it was! Heck, maybe it's BOTH those reasons!

Wow...what a concept, am I right?

Seriously, judge it when it comes out, folks. Don't take everything that an interview or an article says seriously. Like, don't even take a game trailer seriously(you know who you are. Hint: SH2). The people behind this production are passionate about this, and I feel like they will deliver on creating a very good adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender. I don't know, I just feel like it will...hopefully...as I cautiously say. But I'm certain it will be great.

As for Bryke leaving, like everyone else said before me, stop acting like these dimwits are the ones that are the brains behind everything. From what I heard, if they got their way, fans would most definitely HATE IT. (got the source from theswordanthepenRFLECTIONS on YT, who's close to Netflix executives. Her replies to other Avatar fans say so.)

But yeah, maybe, just maybe, the show wasn't all that perfect? And they're trying to make it...I don't know, BETTER?

I've had extremely busy days the past few(hense why I haven't been able to post the daily fic rec of my completed Elucien fics leading up to today). I don't want to do a drabble a day, I want to do something proper, kind of like I did for A New Life during Lucien Appreciation Week.

So I'm gonna try to post for today, and make a week long, seven chapter fic, but if I can't, I'm gonna do what I can and post one big(ish) fic featuring all the prompts at the end of the week. I'm gonna try and make it on time, and not late, but life happens.

I'm not a Christmas Hallmark Movie person, but my mum is, and she will start watching them in OCTOBER if she can. So I know the formula. This fic may be a tad rushed, but at the same time, I do enjoy how it turned out.

Summary :: Lucien is reminded that he and Elain grew up in very different family settings when it comes time to decorate for their first Christmas living together.

I loved writing this one! There's something revealed that the Archeron sisters did with Christmas Trees growing up, that my own sister and I did the two years we lived together for the same(ish) reason! I won't say what it is here, for spoiler-ish reasons, but when you read it, you'll know immediately!

I’m tired of people saying this or that about what ways are bad to learn for drawing or coloring. Everyone learns differently man. If Becky learns best by eye dropping her colors from her reference, that’s how Becky fucking learns my man. If Darrel finds it easier to learn proportions and how to draw humans by tracing, and as long as they don’t claim the art as their own, that how Darrel can fucking do it. Stop trying to force different learning styles on people when the way you seem fit doesn’t actually work for them. I learn to draw different from the way people would consider to be ‘right’ and I’m doing just fine. I’m still learning, technically.

And no Christina, not everyone used this specific tool/method when they were art babies and learning to draw themselves. Don’t call someone a lier just because they learned differently than you did.

Everyone learns differently, and this includes art. You need to find whatever method of learning how to draw works best for you, I’ve quickly found that and have started improving quite a bit in the past year simply because I stopped listening to the people telling me not to learn a certain way. Go out there, look for different methods that help you learn. Find different tutorials, shift through them and find what you agree with and what helps you the most. Don’t listen to the people telling you to do things ‘by the book’ or whatever.

Learn your way.

Europop! Squad, my passion project has been cancelled until further notice.

The writing is what makes me lose interest in the show as it’s impossible to write a show set in many countries each episode.
