I think a main reason that the homewreckers/clock duo/impdubs/whatever thing is so funny to me is that both of these middle aged dads just decided to rp a pair of smitten gay newlyweds and just went all in. Fully committed to the bit. They just did that. The personification of the ‘old man yells at cloud’ meme and that guy you saw at the home depot last tuesday picking up some plywood logged on to the block game and said yes we’re in love and kissing. And sleeping in the same bed btw. Living in a nice modern house with a decent sized swimming pool and an equestrian lifestyle. Marital bliss the likes of which most couples can only dream of. And for what. To get murdered by an unhinged Australian

at some point i will shut up but do you know. people have been like NOOOOOO about a skord adaptation and I Get It Believe Me I Get It but Honestly? i do think that's a solid option chance-wise. and like. also movie fodder wise. fi would maybe be kind of hard to do for live action but. not prohibitively? imo. idk i'm not a movie guy. but MOST IMPORTANTLY. they would put ghirahim on the big screen.
i know ghirahim enjoyers are probably like NOOOOO THEYRE GOING TO KILL MY GUY they're going to kill all of our guys unfortunately. but won't that one be just hysterically funny. put that toxic gay little theater guy in theaters. give him a musical number. please. all i want in life as a gay person is to have this win.
i will pay REAL MONEY to witness nintendo paying someone real money to be god's most problematic twink. ON THE BIG SCREEN.
also like the more i think about it the more i think skord is broadly the funniest possible option. i want to see them do the toilet thing. i want to see groose. and i said this somewhere else but it has SO many aspects i think these particular announced staff members would be so excited to get their grubby little hands on. and again like. it's not the worst option for live action actually. it's pretty doable. afaik.
what do we think what are we feeling. who will end being hollywood's next top fodder (material)

Around tumblr lately I’ve seen people with the opinion that not only are free roaming cats bad (correct) but also supervised cats in catios or on leashes (????). I assume it must stem from that “ecology of fear” post from a few months ago, but to me the sudden appearance of these kinds of posts just strikes me as odd. I’ve seen multiple posts like the below one in just this week.

If your cat is contained to your yard/catio/the sidewalk, then it still allows for predator-free safe places in your neighbourhood for wildlife, and creates predictability for them too. That’s one of the reasons why hiking trails ask people to stay on the trail— so you (and your dog, horse, cat, etc) can safely enjoy nature while still giving it space. It is possible to exist outdoors in natural spaces like that while maintaining wildlife comfort. If it wasn’t possible to do that, dog-friendly or (even just hiking trails in general, since humans are predators too) simply wouldn’t exist.
The problem with free roaming cats is that they break boundaries between human area (ie. trail, back porch) and wildlife area (foliage, etc) and there is nowhere the wildlife can go to exist that is safe from predators.
Idk, this is just my opinion but I just think there can be more nuance to the outdoor/free roaming cat issue than “never let your cat step outside under any circumstance”.

German* food poll but we have meatless options
A while ago everyone did those regional food polls and i wanted to do one back then but forgot... anyway. If you don't eat meat the options can be very limited in (traditional) restaurants around here. I wanted to do one with dishes that don't typically contain meat or can at least be easily adapted. Also yes this is kind of based on both my personal tastes and experiences so it's biased towards southern food, lmao. If you're vegan please just pretend it's a vegan version it's almost impossible to find options otherwise
*yes some of these are technically considered to be from Austria or France but they're still incredibly common in the regions near the border.
