What's your latest Danganronpa Au?
Thanks for asking!!
SPOILERS FOR DRV3 DOWN BELOW!!!
I don’t know how low it takes to make it so you have to view the whole post by clicking haha, sorry!
But, I’ve been thinking:
…what if Kaito didn’t exit the exisal during the trial?
Tumblr media
Monokuma didn’t know who the culprit was since Kokichi had used an Electrobomb to disable to safety function on the hydraulic press. So, when Maki ‘admitted’ that she was the culprit, or when Shuichi ‘confessed’ he was lying for Kokichi, Monokuma had no way of knowing if this was the truth or not.
Kaito wouldn’t take any chances, after all, it was his already-short life or all of his friends. But what if he truly believed in Kokichi’s plan?
Admittedly, Monokuma would probably just kill them all.
But, as is revealed in the sixth class trial, Kiibo’s ‘inner voice’ is really the viewers watching the game. So, I’m sure they would all be against Monokuma defying these rules he set up himself, yeah?
Since this AU is something I was thinking about recently, I’m not sure how Kiibo would convince Monokuma he was in the wrong. Maybe he would say, “My inner voice is telling me that your action would be against the rules you created yourself!” And since Monokuma is the headmaster, he would recognize the viewer’s frustration, and admit defeat. Though the mastermind would probably get another kill to happen while wasting the rest of the electrobombs just in case.
Therefore, chapter six would roll by, and since Kiibo never got his antenna knocked off, it would… basically just be another chapter five 😅 but Kokichi’s dead now, and Kaito… well, he would probably die due to his illness. But Kokichi and Kaito technically defeated Monokuma anyways, right? Since Monokuma couldn’t punish anyone for the murder of Kokichi Ouma, and Kaito died due to his programmed illness, I figure that the viewers would get quite bored, and Tsumugi (the mastermind) would have to come up with some kind of huge reveal to get the ratings back up.

“Danganronpa is the latest and greatest in Killing Game Entertainment! As they are the pioneers of their craft, they try to incorporate bigger and better gimmicks into each season. With the fiftieth season and beyond—the V0-series if you will—came the ‘implementation’ feature! As Danganronpa moved to virtuality to host their seasons, it became possible to program not just avatars for our Players, but false memories, talents, and personalities as well! All of this has allowed the characters to come to life before the audience’s very eyes! “See, there’s a special little agreement that one must sign before the game that’s part of the audition contract! It gives the Player the option to keep all of the artificial junk that Team Danganronpa stuffed into their head under the condition that they win! It’s an optional prize, but who wouldn’t want to keep their very own—very special—Super High School Level talent!?” A single checkbox makes Shuichi Saihara’s world spin. A single check mark makes Kokichi Ouma’s world break. --- Or, the killing game ends, but not everyone is back where they started.
After six years(?), I have finally returned to rewrite my post-game, saiouma fic which you can read [here].
The story follows, Shuichi Saihara after the events of V3. He discovers that the killing game was all a virtual reality simulation and all of his friends are alive, except anyone who didn't survive til the end AND sign off on keeping their in-game memories before the game has been reverted to their pre-game state.
It's a story of self-discovery in the wake of an identity crisis sprinkled in with the frustrating romance of two teenage boys!
It's been an arduous five months of work, but I've come to deliver 60K+ words to you, dear reader! Even if you have already read this fic in the past, I would strongly encourage you to give it a once-over/another chance. I have VASTLY improved the pacing, plot, characterization, and grammar, and I'm quite proud with what I've been able to create! I used to be very insecure with my writing style but in the past six(?) years, I have improved in both my confidence and prose.
Give it a shot, leave a comment, and just let me know what you think! Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated and I hope to continue working on this after taking a bit of a writing break! :D

A Danganronpa hot take! It's been a while. (Spoiler for all V3)
I... am confused about something, and maybe someone can answer me.
Why the hell is Kokichi called the "uncooperative one"? By the fandom I mean, because in the game I get that everyone used him as the scapegoat...
Literally why?
In Chapter one, he encouraged everyone to go through the road, until he notice everyone is exhausted. Then he's saying "stop. We need rest, and you need to stop strong-arming everyone" to Kaede. Which, maybe came a bit harsh but true. He IMMEDIATLY form a plan for everyone to meet at the dining hall for breakfast -something that they will be doing until the end of the game- and once there, force everyone to talk about the resentment and hurt feelings after what happened at the road yesterday. After the First Blood Perk motive is anounced, and Monokuma get destroyed, he makes everyone forget about the motive to not have people think too hard about it.
The next day when the time limit is announced he immediatly propose himself as sacrifice (not outright said but Miu picked the hint pretty clearly) to make sure no one else die.
In Chapter two, he takes it upon himself to make everyone acknowledge how they feel about Kaede's trial but is getting harshly shut down. And when the motives videos are introduced, he makes a plan for everyone to watch them together so they can take action in case someone got theirs and is plotting murder. He even go as far as to get more or less everyone kidnapped by manipulating Gonta (which of course isn't great) but is, again, getting shut down and PASS OUT for his troubles.
He even make everyone aware of what Kirumi was trying to do (manipulate everyone to riot on her behalf so she can run away) He gets insulted for his troubles.
And of course, how can I forget to mention him warning everyone about Maki, who is an assassin, and so a huge threat to EVERYONE. And... he's getting choked for his troubles with nobody reacting.
In Chapter three, he's kind of... well he can't do much. Because the student council is half the class, and he can't afford to have the half of people who doesn't want to get involved with the motive turn against him. His hands are tied there. But even so, in the investigation for Angie's death, he's asking Shuichi to come along because having a detective be a part of a sketchy seance is probably the best option if something happens at said-seance. (And something DID happened.) After the double murders, he force himself to stay conscious DESPITE A CONCUSSION so he can pass vital informations to Shuichi and Maki.
In Chapter four do I really have to explain? He made a plan to either, a) if you believe his mercy killing theory: save everyone from more suffering -ie: more murders and trials- and the horrors of the outside world, or b) if you think that's a lie: avoiding everyone to die because of an unsolvable trial. Because if Miu successfully killed him, she would have been able to destroy evidences EASILY consdering she is the one controlling the simulation.
And for both explaination, he asked Gonta's help. He build a full plan which NEEDS his cooperation.
And lastly in Chapter five... Literally he worked together with Kaito for his own murder to try to end the game.
Hell even in CHAPTER SIX so when he's ALREADY DEAD he's leaving hints behind to help the others!
So, my question is: HOW THE HELL IS HE UNCOOPERATIVE?! He's literally one of the people who tries the HARDEST to make everyone cooperate!

ouugghhh i have so many noco ideas but i don't wanna flood the inbox so it's all going in one post
please do NOT ask why these have titles, i was just feeling silly
apologies in advance mod tiny sausage
'a kill for the sake of killing'/'the perfect crime' Noco danganronpa au where noah kills harold while cody helps out. it doesn't really matter what chapter it would happen it, just for the first title it works best for chapter 1.
'the one behind it all' groovy idea i came up with where Noah accidentally signs a contract from chris and ends up having to watch his friends die. Cody is the last death of course, and at the hands of noah.
'dorm twenty five.' the title is completely based of an rp server im in where cody has dorm 25. basically it's just cody having a mental breakdown, and Noah's there to comfort.
Pokemon trainer AU. I don't have a name for this one. It's literally just a pokemon trainer au i had made when i was kiiinda into pokemon and kiiinda into total drama. It was fun.
Im gonna stop here,,,,,, errr....

The beach is bustling when the two of you arrive. Pekoyama quickly gives you a farewell nod as she heads off to accompany Kuzuryu where he is sitting in the shallows and trying to make it look like he isn't having a good time.
You can see Mioda already in the water, chasing Souda around and attempting to throw a handful of seaweed at him. He is screaming. Owari is sitting at the shoreline with her legs in the water, she’s halfway through an ice cream, but still manages to grin widely when she waves in your direction. You return the wave and make plans to head over to her before you notice Tsumiki and Sonia sitting together in the sand.
Tsumiki’s hands shake as she attempts to round the edges of the sandcastle that the two of them are currently working on. Sonia’s tongue sticks out of her mouth as she, opposite Tsumiki, continues adding a set of perfect flying buttresses to the castle; you are unsure how she has managed this, but have learned not to question these sorts of things.
“You’ve made it!” Sonia says with a wide smile, now beginning to sculpt a collection of tiny gargoyles around the top level of the castle, “I hope you were not too disappointed by my early departure, I just think Mioda-san is often in need of supervision.” You peer up at where she is now trying to toss a starfish onto the top of Souda’s head, “Yeah, you’re probably right. It’s okay, I had a nice conversation with Pekoyama-san.” Tsumiki looks up at you, she’s wearing a wide brimmed hat and a loose fitting white shirt over her bathing suit. It makes sense that a nurse would care about sun safely, the hat suits her, she looks very cute, “I-I’m glad you came. I hope you have a good time” She smiles softly, hands now shakily building a drawbridge, “Just be sure not to get burnt this time, I have more sunscreen if you need it, please take care of yourself.” She huffs, “I’ve already had this discussion with Komaeda-san, but I-I think he’s just going to ig-ignore my advice.”
You hadn't noticed Komaeda, which is very out of character for you. He’s in the water, but far enough away from everyone else that he seems excluded. His own doing, you assume.
“Would you like to help us?” Sonia asks, abruptly tearing your attention away from Komaeda.
You blink, “Sorry?” She laughs, though not unkindly, “Help to build our sandcastle, of course!”
You look briefly at the perfect replication of gothic architecture somehow sculpted out of sand alone, “Thanks but uh, I might work on expanding the royal empire and build my own castle, if it’s all the same.” Sonia claps her hands together in glee, “Expansionism! How delightful!”
“I-I might swim now, actually.” Tsumiki starts, “I-If that’s okay, Sonia-san?” “You don’t need my permission.” Sonia replies, waving a dismissive hand, “You’ve done a brilliant job, Tsumiki-san, and all castle architects are owed at least one day of allocated time off per castle built, so by all means! You are free to go.” Tsumiki nods gratefully, and rises a little shakily from the sand before heading to the water.
You turn to Sonia, “Only one day of leave per castle?” She nods seriously, “Oh yes, my father always said ‘any less than that and they start getting rambunctious’. We tried only half a day some years ago, the riots were very bloody.” “Uh-huh…”
“Anyway! I might go ask Tanaka-san if I can hold one of his Dark Devas.” She stands with utter grace and poise, giving you a brief curtsey before walking away. You are briefly stunned by the utterly dismal working conditions in Novoselic, but shake your head and sit in the sand before you start thinking about it too much.
You start building the only kind of sandcastle you have experience with, a big pile of sand that is vaguely pyramid shaped. It’s nice to have something to do with your hands, a monotonous task to keep you occupied while the ever turning cogs in your head crunch and grind. You have to assume that Monokuma will bring out a new motive soon, and at this point you can only assume that it will be the despair disease. It’s hard to tell if access to the third island will make everything better or worse, Tsumiki having access to the hospital is a net good, only so long as she doesn’t catch the disease itself, and boy is that disease catching.
Peering out at the ocean you see that Tsumiki is swimming with Mioda now, more accurately, Tsumiki is treading water while Mioda quite literally swims circles around her. Tsumiki deserves better than she got in the game, so does Mioda.
You turn back to your castle, attempting to make it any sort of shape other than a vague lump. It feels weird to just be hanging around like this when so much is at stake, but there isnt much that you can do other than socialise and socialising is more useful than doing nothing. Trust is valuable, especially here, even if it’s something you aren’t all that used to garnering.
“Nice pile of sand.”
You look up to see Komaeda standing above you, a playful smirk tugging at his lips. He’s still wet from the ocean, his hair clings flat to his head and it makes him look much less intimidating.
“Thanks.” You say, gesturing to your attempt at a sandcastle, “It’s my magnum opus.”
He peers down at it appraisingly and then says, “Could use a moat.”
You laugh, “You’re right.” feeling mischievous, you add, “Your hair looks nice, very drowned rat-esque.”
Komaeda bursts out laughing, hiding his face in his hands. When he looks back up at you again, his smile is so warm, and genuine that it feels like a shard of the sun has lodged in your chest.
“You’re funny.” He says
His expression is too intensely bright, you have to avert your eyes, “Thanks. I try.” you return to working on your sandcastle, anything to keep yourself from staring at him.
“Why aren't you swimming?” Komaeda asks. You peer back up at him, you were honestly expecting him to walk away when he was done mocking you, “Oh um, I just don't really want to?” He gives you a sly grin, “You can swim, can’t you?” That bristles you a little, “I’m a great swimmer actually! I love swimming!” you gesture halfheartedly to where the waves turn to foam against the sand, “I just don’t like the ocean. It’s spooky. There’s stuff in there, and the salt really hurts my eyes.”
His expression turns uncharacteristically soft and he drops to a crouch beside you. You shuffle back from him instinctively, not expecting him to get so close so quickly. For a moment, Komaeda just blinks at you slowly but then his brow creases with contemplation before he finally says, “Swim with me.”
Your heart feels like it come to a stop in your chest, “Uh- I, um-“
He laughs a little, cocking his head to the side, “That would help, wouldn’t it?”
“Um.” You wring your hands together, “I would feel better with company, but that doesn’t mean that you-”
He stands back up and holds his hand out to you, it stuns you into silence mid-sentence, you just stare up at him, utterly dumbfounded. “Come on.” Komaeda says, reaching further forward with his hand, asking you to take it.
You barely manage to swallow around the lump in your throat as you tentatively take his hand in your own. If the contact is anywhere near as momentous, electric and world shattering for him as it is for you, it doesn't show on his face, but you do catch a near imperceptible bob in his throat that you try not to read too hard into.
His hand is cold, even in the heat of the sun and you can feel just how fragile his fingers are, like if you clenched your hand too hard they would all break. He doesn’t really pull you up from the ground, but holding onto him like this does make it easier to regain your balance on the uneven sand.
The water is warm when you take your first step in, more pleasant than you ever remember the ocean actually being. Neo World Program benefits, you suppose. Komaeda walks in front of you, still tugging on your hand. The back of his head eclipses the sun, its light catching in the white strands of his hair and causing them to shimmer like folded glass.
“H-How deep are you planning to go?” You ask once the water reaches your shoulders, voice tinged with growing anxiety.
Komaeda looks back at you over his shoulder, “Not much further.”
You notice that the two of you are much deeper out than the rest of the class, barring only Nidai who is off in the distance swimming laps. There is an intimacy to it, the separation from everyone else on the beach. The second you can’t touch the ground with your toes anymore you can feel a nervous churning in your stomach. Komaeda is still walking, head and shoulders well above the water. When an admittedly small wave knocks you off balance, you panic and lurch forward to grab onto his arm.
Komaeda laughs, but it’s good natured and warm “Aha, it’s okay. I’ve got you.”
You want to kiss him.
That thought is not so alarming. You have grown quite familiar with it these past few days, but the panicked and aching desperation of it is completely new. You begin to fear that you no longer have feelings for Nagito Komaeda the videogame character, but instead for Nagito Komaeda the real person. Which is somehow much more complicated and insurmountably harder to reconcile. Now that the water is deep enough, only Komaeda’s head bobs up above the water, and since you are floating in the water yourself, you actually meet his eye line for once instead of staring up at him. He watches you intently, staring so hard that it feels like he can see right through you. “Is there…something on my face?” You say quickly, trying desperately to diffuse some of the tension. He smirks, “Nope.”
Your eyes follow a droplet of water sliding down the length of his nose. Komaeda chuckles, “have I got something on my face?”
You quickly avert your gaze, “No! It’s just, uh-“ you suck in a breath, “Why are you even spending time with me? I’m not exactly working towards ending the killing game right at this moment, so there’s really no reason for you to be talking to me.” Komaeda’s brow furrows, “There’s something about you,” he says, “Ah, I'm not sure what it is, but it interests me.”
You close your eyes, feeling the cold dread filling your chest cavity, “What if I’m not interesting?” You say desperately, “What if it only seems like I am?”
“Hm, I don’t understand what you mean.” He smiles, “Whether or not I find you interesting is entirely up to me.”
“But I’m not . I'm not worth your time, or your effort, I need your help so I’m trying desperately to keep you around but the second you realise who I really am, what I really am, you’re going to hate me. I just know it.”
Komaeda hums aloud, “I suppose, the others are right.”
“What?”
He laughs, “it is uncomfortable being on the receiving end of this kind of talk. I suppose I owe everyone an apology.”
You are suddenly forced to wrestle with the fact that Nagito Komaeda thinks you are laying on the self depreciation a little too thick, “Sorry.” You say quickly, shaking your head “I didn’t mean to just say all of that at you.”
Komaeda goes quiet for a moment, staring at you intimidatingly, “You would do anything to help the Ultimates defeat this despair, wouldn't you?”
“I uh-” You swallow thickly, “I think the both of us have a very different definition of help , but I will do all that I can to make sure everyone gets out alive, yes.”
“You promised to die for my cause, if your own method fails.” He cocks his head to the side, “Why?”
Your breath grows uneven, and you can hear your own heartbeat in your ears, “Because I won’t fail.” Komaeda chuckles, “Ha. You're confident.” You shake your head, “I’m really not, but I’m the only one who can do it, so I have to.” you sigh to yourself, remembering that even if you manage to keep everyone alive, they will still need to grapple with their identities as the Remnants and the destruction of the world they once knew, “What I do isn’t what’s important though, the hard part comes after and how that resolves is entirely up to you and the other Ultimates. I’m just doing what I can to make sure everyone survives until then.” “How can you say things like that and expect me not to find you interesting.” His eyes are half lidded, and his grin is loose, “We aren’t so different, you and I. We are both working towards bringing the Ultimates to their next exuberant victory, over a despair even greater than the last.” He sighs, “But I have to admit, I’m still just a little curious about how you know all of this, and what comes after.”
You frown, “I can’t tell you. I can hardly expect you to behave yourself if I did.” Komaeda barks a laugh, “Behave myself?”
“Yes. You’ve promised to help me, and if you’re going to, then I need you to behave . So no spoilers.”
“You have a lot of nerve speaking to your superiors that way.” He says, but his expression holds none of the malice that his words convey.
Feeling brave, you reply, “Good thing it’s just you here, then, isn't it?” If anything, his eyes grow brighter at your answer. He floats a little closer to you, and you suck a breath in through your teeth, "If the talentless nobody promises to give me her due reverence, maybe I can promise to behave myself.”
“What, do you want me to get on my knees and beg?”
A visible shiver runs through him, and his smile turns wide and syrupy, “Maybe.” "O-oh.” You reply, swallowing thickly as you rub your thighs together. You had been joking, but the deep heat in your belly makes it clear that neither of you is joking anymore, "As long as you can make time for me in your busy schedule, I’m sure that I can manage something.” The next exhale of his breath is dangerously close to being a moan, “Aha…I’ll make sure to pencil you in.”

Ok I cant keep that stuck anymore, remember that Dangaronpa zero portuguese translations that had extra chapters made by the author/ translator that were really cool? There was a chapter of just Ryoko and Yasuke watching home alone, and it was the best thing. I had to share because its only IN MY HEAD
Tumblr media
''Ryoko, stay quiet for a moment'' ''What movie we are watching :3'' ''...Home alone, you wrote that, just read ugly face...You probably would forget a child at home too''
danganronpa zero but they’re all happy and no one dies and they just watch home alone while making random commentary and also ryoko forgets the plot every five seconds

multi-chapter despair sisters // junko enoshima fanfiction concept
so basically i’m working on writing the most fucked up elaborately angsty sister fix it fic you can possibly imagine about my girls junko and mukuro. it’s a continuation of danganronpa IF but with a little flare of reality, so the concept is that after the failed mutual killing game, junko is tried and found guilty of attempted murder and a few other crimes, but the world still thinks izuru kamukura is responsible for the tragedy, the apocalypse, the terrorism, etc. to the world, junko enoshima is just another one of izuru’s remnants of despair, just another high school girl who was manipulated and swept away by the big bad man and the current of despair.
at the start of the story, junko has been in prison for like three or five or seven years (i haven’t decided yet lmao.) mukuro calls her every day even though junko never picks up, writes her letters even though junko never responds, comes to visit once a week even though junko always refuses to see her. she hates her. she hates mukuro—really, genuinely hates her. the whole betraying their cause to help makoto naegi thing left junko with a sour taste in her mouth—it was boring and predictable and staggeringly disappointing, even for mukuro—and so her previously fluid, fluctuating hatred hardened into something vicious and unmoving, something stagnant and boring. these days, as far as junko is concerned, she’s an only child.
life in prison is nothing short of dull and degrading, but her new medications, especially the xanax, and the two goons (or friends or whatever) she’s collected during her sentence thus far—her former classmate and current cellmate celestia ludenberg, who was arrested about a year after junko’s verdict for running an underground illegal poker ring and the former undercover officer who arrested celestia ludenberg for running said underground illegal poker ring, miu iruma—make it almost tolerable. the only intolerable thing junko has ever encountered in prison, the only intolerable thing junko has ever encountered period, is the Hole. but she behaves now, so the only time she spends locked in that 3.6ft x 4ft torture chamber enduring a merciless suffering so inconceivably awful even her despair deserted her in there these days is in the relentless waking nightmare she’s come to call her memory.
but aside from the transformation of her once glorious mind into the jumbled, abstract clusterfuck it is now (a parting gift from the Hole. ptsd—the gift that keeps on giving.) and the hallucination of her prettier, skinnier, saner high school self who she calls Ego and speaks to regularly, things are totally fine. boring, but fine.
then one morning a prison guard tells junko she has a visitor. junko, assuming it’s mukuro, waves the guard off, says, “tell her i was stabbed in a prison riot and my dying wish was for her to take a fucking shower.” but it turns out her visitor isn’t stinky, smelly mukuro after all—it’s the lieutenant of homicide at the tmpd, kyoko kirigiri !! kirigiri is waiting for her in the staff lounge of the prison and greets her with a photo of a young woman floating lifelessly in a bathtub surrounded by a halo of flowers. junko immediately recognizes the corpse as sonia nevermind, a remnant of despair, but what truly catches her eye are the monokuma hair ties holding her pale blonde pigtails in place. kirigiri tells junko she’d like her to take a look at the crime scene, and junko, who loves crime scenes and dead bodies and violence and the sorrow of lives taken too soon or whatever, is eager to see the rest of the sad photos, only for kirigiri to say, “i think it’d be best if you saw the scene in person.” and so kirigiri sneaks her out of prison for a field trip to a crime scene.
on the drive there, kirigiri explains that sonia nevermind is the newest victim of the most prolific serial killer in japanese history known as the ophelia killer. the name comes from the fact that all of his victims are found in water with ophelia’s famous bouquet, displayed to resemble the millais painting of ophelia. this fucker has been killing bitches for years (claiming the life of one victim per month) without ever leaving a trace: no dna, no witnesses, no security footage, no motive, literally nothing. the police know that the victims’ cause of death is always drowning, but these girls, these ophelias, are never found with any sort of defensive wounds. the tmpd has no idea how the ophelia killer even abducts his victims—one moment they’re there and the next they’ve vanished into thin air, only to reappear a month later floating languidly in a pool of pansies, poppies, violets, and roses, immortalized as yet another tragically beautiful ophelia. the victims are always young girls between the ages of 16-20 who come from respectable, wealthy families. it’s the same story every time: well behaved, bright futures, excellent grades, tons of friends, home by curfew, no history of running away, behavioral problems, or substance abuse. they’re always good girls from good families, so there’s an immense pressure on the tmpd from the public to catch this killer.
while junko is analyzing sonia’s crime scene, she immediately pieces together why she’s been brought here: the ophelia killer, whoever they are, is attempting to communicate with her through subtle clues scattered throughout a crime scene he designed just for her, like a little tap on her shoulder that says, “hey, wanna play?” (and indeed, junko wants to play.)
kirigiri’s theory is that there’s only one person in the entire world capable of committing such heinous, despairing, and yet utterly artistic murders for years without ever leaving a trace: izuru kamukura. the ophelia killer’s interest in junko is the only lead kirigiri has, so she makes a deal with junko that she’ll be released from prison under the condition that she agrees to work with the tmpd to catch the killer. junko agrees to the terms, more than thrilled to indulge in her sudden, utter fascination with her new friend and the cat and mouse killing game he so eagerly wants to play with her. also, it’ll feel nice to be free.
for the first time since her arrest, junko’s mind is alive, ablaze with possibilities, with predictions, with patterns, with questions: why, after all these years, has izuru kamukura decided to reach out? what does he want with her? is he seeking her friendship? her companionship? her mentorship?her despair? or is she just another one of his pretty ophelias, fragile and ethereal and doomed to sink beneath the surface and leave this world behind?
junko signs off on the offer, but she soon finds that kirigiri purposely neglected to mention a potentially deal breaking condition of her parole: her mandated place of residence.
upon her release, junko, who was under the impression that she’d be boozing it up in miu iruma’s bachelorette pad, finds mukuro waiting to pick her up from prison to drive her to an apartment she idiotically calls, “home.” the terms of her parole dictate that she’s required to live with mukuro, the sister she fucking loathes, the sister she once loved even more dearly than despair, the sister she refuses to let in no matter how frantic the pounds sound on the other side of the door. despair is a path best walked alone, and that’s that. and so junko is determined to navigate the painfully reality of her ptsd on her own, concealing the fact that she even has it in the first place from everyone she knows, but especially from mukuro. she buries the truth of what really happened to her in the Hole six feet under, the grave unmarked, never to be spoken of aloud. however, she slowly starts to realize that no matter how abysmal the pool, how deep the grave, how tiny the hole, some bones just refuse to rest peacefully.
mukuro and junko eventually begin to find their way back to each other through the cobwebs and clutter of their many crowded years apart, but as the gap between them continues to shrink, junko can’t help but feel illogically lost. when she looks at her reflection in the mirror, on the water, she wonders if she’s missing something, maybe even everything. if they’re truly making their way back to shore, why does she still feel like she’s underwater?
while mukuro fights to keep her afloat, junko chases after the ophelia killer and the promise of despair that awaits her, plunging full fathom five into the deepest, darkest depths she’s ever known, trying desperately to avoid the mirrors that seem to appear at every turn along with the holes they’re meant to conceal.
MAIN CHARACTERS: junko enoshima, mukuro ikusaba, miu iruma, kyoko kirigiri, celestia ludenberg, izuru kamukura, maybe kotoko utsugi
MINOR CHARACTERS: the 78th class, the 77th class, kaede akamatsu, suichi saihara, korekiyo shinguji, probably more from dv3 as needed
(junko’s relationship with despair is a super prevalent aspect of the plot too lol not sure why i didn’t mention that but yeah.)

༺☆༻ Introduction ༺☆༻
Tumblr media
Hello!
We’re the dynamic duo behind “𝕐our 𝕃ocal 𝕊imp 𝕎riters,” just a couple of friends who love to get lost in the world of stories and games. We’re here to share our passion for writing and all the geeky stuff we can’t get enough of.
♡ About Us ♡
I’m 𝒞𝓁𝑜𝓊𝒹 and I’m all about gaming and art. You’ll often find me with a controller in one hand and a comic book in the other. My better half, the yin to my yang. She’s the partner in crime, the sweet melody to my wild riffs, and the one who brings a touch of grace to our shared tales of adventure and heart, 𝒞𝒽𝒾𝑒𝓃𝓃𝑒! She is the other half of this storytelling team. We both love creating stories that’ll make you feel like you’re right there with the characters.
♡ Our Writing ♡
We write what we love, and we love what we write. Our stories are inspired by our current fascinations—be it a game, a movie, or a manga. If it’s interesting and fascinating to us, it’s fair game for our writing.
Most of our stories are “x female reader” because that’s where we feel most at home. Occasionally, we’ll write “x gender-neutral reader” pieces for a bit of variety. However, we generally steer clear of “x male reader” or “OC x canon” stories. We want to create a space where female readers can see themselves in the worlds we love so much.
❤︎ 𝒞𝓁𝑜𝓊𝒹 '𝓈 Interests:
Gaming: I’m a huge fan of Kingdom Hearts, Batman Arkham games, Mortal Combat, Final Fantasy, Resident Evil, Doom 3, Phasmophobia, Five Nights At Freddy’s, Twisted Wonderland, Call of Duty, Halo 3 and 4, Sonic and Transformers. If it’s a game or relating to horror, chances are I love it.
Comics: Batman is my passion. I collect anything related to the Dark Knight, and my collection is my pride and joy.
Anime/Manga: I'm into One Piece, Princess TuTu, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Jujutsu Kaisen, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Kingdom Hearts, Sgt. Frog, Free!, HellSing, and a bunch more. I have also seen MHA, Fairy Tail, Dragon Ball, Soul Eater, Naruto, Castlevania, Diabolik Lovers and more.
Disney & Tim Burton: I’m a Disney kid at heart. My top 5 Disney movies are Treasure Planet, Cinderella 3, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, and The Princess and the Frog. And I’m all about Halloween and everything Tim Burton.
Music: I love RnB and Y2K music so much! However, you can usually find me listening to cutesy, cheesy love songs.
❤︎ 𝒞𝒽𝒾𝑒𝓃𝓃𝑒’𝓈 Interests:
Gaming: I’m definitely not the biggest gamer around, but I do love to play Roblox, Fortnite, and Minecraft! Sometimes I’ll also dabble in some fall guys, FNAF or Poppy’s Playtime. On Roblox, I love to play pretty much anything but pvp games due to the fact that I’m not the best at them. Horror games are probably my favorite, even though I’m a chicken!
Anime/Manga: My favorites are definitely Fairy Tail, Jojo’s bizarre adventure, Naruto, and Demon slayer. I’ve also watched MHA, Danganronpa, Yona of the Dawn, Food wars, High Rise Invasion, Angels of death, and more!
Disney and Tim Burton: I’m definitely a Disney girl! I love all Disney Princess movies, both animated and live action. My top three not in any particular order would have to be Tangled, The Little Mermaid, and Princess and the Frog. For Tim Burton, my favorites are the classics, The nightmare before Christmas and Corpse bride.
Books: I’m also a huge book girly! My favorite genre has to be fantasy/sci-fi. My favorite book series is The Lunar Chronicles, I definitely recommend it!
♡ Join the Fun ♡
This is an invitation to you, dear reader, to become a part of our narrative. Engage with us, inspire us, and let us inspire you.

With all the warmth in our hearts,
𝒞𝓁𝑜𝓊𝒹 & 𝒞𝒽𝒾𝑒𝓃𝓃𝑒
P.S: 𝒞𝓁𝑜𝓊𝒹 drew the image, just so most people can get a idea of what we look like♡ AND THE G.M FIARY BOOK IS FOR FUN, for the pure shits and giggles TRUST

Chapter 1 The Best for Last
Hi guys!!!!
So, like I said in the tags of the Mondo poll, since he won, I decided to post my new story today! :-D
I originally started writing this story a couple years ago, but got hit by writer's block and kind of abandoned it for a while. I'd reread it every so often, really wanting to finish it, but I never could figure out how, or get the motivation to try. For over a year it sat in WIP hell, until a couple weeks ago when I reread it and was like "... hm.... I think I can finish this finally..."
In this, Mondo and Taka are about 22, and they've been living together since they graduated from Hope's Peak. There was no killing games. I kind of based this fic off that post by one of the writers of Danganronpa, which said something about how Taka and Mondo would have moved in together after HS, oblivious to their feelings, or something like that. As such, there's a lot of domestic IshiMondo in this fic, as well as a lot of obliviousness (especially on Mondo's end). It's prolly the fluffiest, least angsty thing I've ever written, so I hope y'all like it. ^-^
You can find the story here.
Summary:
Five years after high school has ended, Mondo and Taka have found themselves settling into a very happy, loving, and committed relationship. It’s just too bad that no one’s ever told Mondo that.
From the beginning
