I am giving Peacock a try, and I may never watch anything else 😆 I mean, they have Dateline!! I will be watching that and playing Hearthstone on my iPad.

It seems like a good plan seeing as how it feels like -13° outside 🤣😂

Worst Ex Ever

I am excited to watch Love Next Door. But I'm not living in the cable era; I don't want to wait a full week for the next episode. I'm going to wait for a whole year (or until they finish airing all episodes) so I can binge the whole thing in 2 weeks. So, for now, I will watch Worst Ex Ever. Anyone else watching this too? Thoughts?

I'm not sure if other men are watching shows like this and Dateline but a large women population are glued to such true crime series. Why? Because they're true crime, they actually happened. And if you think of how long it take to film and produce such an episode, you would know there are millions of stories like these that go unseen and untold. Stories that will never see the light of day because people don't talk about them.

My group of guy friends once brought up the topic of how women love these type of shows and they don't get why. Maybe that's another reason why women watch so much of true crime content, because so many people around them don't get that these things happen and maybe it's all happening as we speak.

Just watching the first 5 minutes of Worst Ex Ever and I feel like it answered the popular topic of today, loneliness. If you know that everyone you meet could be unhinged at any moment, would you still try? That sounded like an absurd question but look at this show title. Worst Ex Ever. Someone you once cared for, admired, valued, had turned into the worst ex. Sounds like a lot of women are choosing to be on their own instead of settling for toxic masculinity and a lot of men are choosing to be on their own instead of settling with a person and the dramas that come with it.

Look, don't give up on society just yet. But be cautious and have faith in yourself. We can't control a lot of the things that are happening but we can control ourselves. Have a look in the mirror and ask yourself, 'have I been the worst ex ever?" If you have, you're not alone but you need to stop it. Check yourself, talk to someone, get therapy and find a healthy way to get rid of the toxicity (deep breathing, taking a walk, yoga, meditation, journalling). You too can make a difference in the world. Let's change it for the positive. Maybe watching a K drama called Love Next Door will make you feel better.
