I recall saying this before, but it bears repeating:

There could be a billion trans people in the world and it still wouldn't be a bad thing because being trans is not a bad thing. Even if the rate of people discovering they are trans is "disproportionate" to trends from decades ago, that is not a bad thing. In fact, it's a natural consequence for there being more trans people being able to stay alive, and, overall, being able to live in a slightly more tolerant world. You'd only see that as a bad thing if you actively didn't want trans people to either live or live a life that facilitates wellness.

Mammon doesn’t like it when others get too close to you. It sends a shock of nervous energy through him. In most cases, it’s because he wants to protect you. But other times, he sees you with someone who would treat you well, someone who almost deserves you, and it’s a slightly different feeling coursing through him.

Mammon doesn’t look at those feelings too closely. He doesn’t want to acknowledge that deep down, he’s afraid he’s not good enough for you.

He thinks he hides this uncertainty well, but you know him. You can see the anxiety in his eyes sometimes and you know what it means.

You take a moment to brush his hair back gently. He leans into your touch like you knew he would. You tell him that he’s the only one you want, the only one you need. You tell him that you will always be by his side. You watch how his eyes clear, you feel his arm tighten around you.

No matter how often that insecurity creeps in, you will banish it from his heart. Mammon will know what you’re doing, but he will pretend that he doesn’t. Because he never gets tired of hearing you say you love him.

imagining the story from pei ming's perspective is rlly funny i think. this god from all that time ago ascends again (you were there for the first two times) and immediately waltzes into a situation that fucks something up for your descendant (putting both of your reputations on the line, messing up how hard your descendant worked to become a god and how hard you worked to ensure that he would have that chance) and then refuses to let you smooth the situation out and on TOP of that your friend's little sister (who hates you and who you are trying to look out for by request of your friend) is on your case about it too. so you've gotta work all that out and then like. you chill for a little bit (still kind of upset about your descendant) until your friend undergoes a heavenly calamity. and then in the space of like A Day the god from earlier shows up again with a fucking ghost king, your friend dies, the little sister you're supposed to be looking out for disappears, and everything just kinda goes to shit. so you're like. grieving. trying to process everything. until your OTHER close friend goes off the fucking rails with the spirit of that guy she murdered, and then you get called out to the spooky ghost mountain where you're confronted with the girl whose death YOU were essentially responsible for and have never really come to terms with, and then like. you just kind of hang out with these gay people until everything resolves itself. fight some ghosts. fight the heavenly emperor. get your friend to stop being evil for a little while so she can fix the filing systems. and then you just have to keep being the god of love i guess

Kaiser's backstory is a heartbreaking masterpiece.

I'm not talking just about the panels that we saw but more about the buildup and hints we as fans picked up along the way. The whole time we theorized about Kaiser's backstory I had that little voice in the back of my head that was like: "we probably exaggerate it, it's not going to be that dark, we can't be 100% correct".

And oh boy I wish we weren't.

Color blue as a sign of impossible and unhealthy perfectionism? Tattoo around the neck as a symbol of mental health struggle? Old, dirty ball as a hint towards poor family background and potential abuse?

It was all there and now that we've seen leaks from chapter 260 I'm kinda glad that authors didn't just decide to trick us in the name of reveal nobody could expect. Also, it wasn't done for the cheap shock value. We were introduced to more serious topics in NEL starting with Hiori and then going even darker with Snuffy. Everything fits with theme of experiencing the real world which is dark, unfair and unforgiving.

Kaiser's backstory despite many hints and signs in the past hits like a truck and leaves you speechless. Many of us knew or at least suspected what was coming but seeing it drawn so graphically right in front of you is just... it's a lot to take in. I dare say it leaves even bigger impression on you if you were reading fan theories or making them yourself because it made you think more about this character. He was interesting enough to made people care about what happened to him before Blue Lock. We wanted to know, so we started connecting the dots only to be terrified but the result.

Clever foreshadowing and graphic reveal. I don't even have to talk about how Kaiser's past explains a lot about his character and actions, we've already seen it in every clue authors have left for us.

I love Blue Lock's writing so much.
